Steddie headcanons
Just a little thing while i work on my first fic
- Eddie probably makes his own like, bracelets and other similar wrist accessories (wraps i think they’re called) to have something to fidget with
- Steve loves to cook and is good at it, and likes baking but can only use packet mixes or help other people without it turning into a disaster (baking is a difficult art, much more difficult than cooking)
- Steve wasn’t really a big fan of metal music at first but came to love it through listening to it with Eddie
- Sometimes the Party + Eddie will drag Steve along to Hellfire Club and he’ll sit and watch, and while he calls it a ‘nerd game’ and denys enjoying it, it’s obvious how invested into the stories and action he is just from watching him watch them play
- Steve has a major sweet tooth, while Eddie prefers savoury food
- Steve was completely oblivious to Eddie’s crush on him, while Eddie was fully aware of Steve’s and used that knowledge to his advantage, but somehow Steve was oblivious to the idea Eddie was actually flirting and just thought the universe was torturing him
- Not a Steddie headcanon, but, Steve and Robin have sleepover movie nights (occasionally the whole group will, but Steve and Robin have like, a girls night, Steve will never admit it but he lets Robin paint his nails because he likes the pretty colours)
- Both Eddie and Steve are autistic, but Steve masks a lot
- Steve still has no idea what he wants his full time career to be, for now he’s content working in the video shop with Robin
- Eddie potentially wants to write some sort of fantasy novel
- Steve loves playing with Eddie’s hair, and running his hands through it when they kiss
- Eddie has ear piercings
- Eddie loves coffee, and Steve enjoys the taste but is very sensitive to caffiene so shouldn’t really have it because if he has it there’s a 50/50 chance he ends up having a caffiene crash + panic attack
- Eddie can’t cook, but will put on music and keep Steve company while he cooks
- If they lived in the modern day/had the resources to know what it was, both of them would likely be some form of nonbinary

Jamie dyslexic, flappy hands, jumping up and down, i don't know I don't know I don't know, tiny shorts, comfortable clothing, hands in shirt/sleeves, dissociation depression anxiety, tongue thing, not picking up on social cues, can't sit "normally" (curled up on the bench, sitting on the floor, etc), explains his feelings in ways a lot of people think are funny or weird but are actually very accurate and the only way he knows how to describe them, needs to be constantly fidgeting and moving around chewing on hoodie string messing with his mom's pant leg, exaggerated facial expressions, sensory issues Tartt, my beloved

Jules and Lassie's friendship has me feeling soft y'all. Shawn and Gus have their own traditions and inside jokes and I bet that Jules and Lassie start to develop the same things. They go out to eat together and have movie nights at each other's places every week. Jules lets Lassie infodump about US history and guns as long as he wants and Lassie (begrudgingly) lets Jules paint his nails. They chat about all the latest gossip in the SBPD and gush over their crushes together. They tell each other (almost) all their secrets. Lassie stays with Jules 24/7 after the clock tower and comforts her when she and Shawn temporarily break up. Jules is one of the only people to see Lassie truly break down and cry and she holds him for as long as he needs and tells him that they're going to be okay. They have their own jokes that nobody else gets that they whisper to each other and giggle at. They laugh until neither of them can breathe. They hug each other every morning when they arrive at the station and when they leave, and casually hold hands. They started out as just coworkers but by the last few seasons they are basically platonic soulmates, parallel to Shawn and Gus. And I love that. I love them.

very important question. do u think tome is transfem or transmasc I need to know
im a transfem tome enjoyer i think it fits really well with her sort of characterization in the reigen manga where like. she comes from a friend group of mostly boys and growing up with more "masculine" interests (video games and aliens) and when she tries to put that behind her and be a "normal" girl she feels very like. alienated and like she's somehow doing something wrong. it feels very reminiscent of transfem people i know describing their experiences transitioning and suddenly feeling like interests theyve had all their life make them less worthy of being a girl somehow even if they know on a logical level that hobbies aren't gendered and i feel like it adds a little something to the end where tome realizes all her friends also have their own weird little interests and she wasn't as much of an outcast as she thought

I’m watching misfits and magic on dropout rn to take a small break from fantasy high, and ooohhh boy. Evan Kelmp is just the type of character I attach myself too. He is so incredibly pathetic and I am thriving.
