Ok so Icl I haven’t actually watched the movie 😭 (and tbh I don’t plan on it) HOWEVER, when the soundtrack first came out I decided to listen through it 🥰 and I decided to take notes (cuz ofc I did 😔) I haven’t listened to the soundtrack since, so these are literally just from one listen through of each song 😭 ANYWAYS HERE’S THE NOTES ‼️

IT WAS LIKE SO EW??? Ok so basically cautionary tale wasn’t even like that bad but their voices just don’t blend together properly and the end note is just not it 😭

THEY REPLACED IT ROARS AND THE SONG WAS JUST SO BAD?? Like yea I get it its an ok song but the change in tone compared to it roars makes it sound rlly bad 😕

Meet the plastics is like candy store to heathers, it may not be ur fav (or in meet the plastics case the best) but its basically the most Iconic so why in the everlasting fuck have u made it just reginas part?? And it sounds like world burn as well which is annoying cuz it’s originally an upbeat song 😔 (especially since they made most of the songs pop but then changed this one??) like cmon if it’s gonna be in the movie don’t fuck it up and just do it properly man 😭

Stupid with love is also one I tend to skip but they changed it??? Like gurl u were definitely not filled with calculust 💀 I honestly will never understand why they decided to change it 😭 it wasn’t good at all (although cady kinda did get her redemption moment Ig with I see stars cuz it wasn’t like,,the worst 🤷‍♀️)

Apex predator was actually like,,not bad lmao They gave damian cadys verse which honestly I’m ok with cuz they cut both of his solo songs anyways so 🤷‍♀️

I usually skip whats wrong with me abyways so I don’t have much to say abt it but she sounded rlly good like why tf didn’t she sing more huh 🤨 Like I get yall cut all of the reprises but cmon she was actually ok

Sexy was um,,ok (it was not 😔) I mean she can sing but it just doesn’t sound right like,,at all ad the way she sings everything is a lil 😨 Sexy is also such an iconic song so I really don’t think they should’ve put it in if they weren’t gonna do it right yk

Someone gets hurt was actually a redemption moment cuz it was good 🥰 I prefer if over world burn in this case cuz it actually doesn’t sound bad 😭 which is actually crazy cuz world burn is usually like,,the best song on the soundtrack so how tf??

REVENGE PARTY, HOW DO U FUCK IT UP?? Like they added an extra verse in but the lyrics were so bad 😭 ALSO SO HELP ME IF THE SPEAKING PARTS THAT AREN’T IN THE RECORDING ARENT IN THE MOVIE EITHER I AM WALKING OUT OF THE CINEMA (I still haven’t watched it so Idk if they are in the movie but if they aren’t then what the actual fuck). It was so like,,flat too 😕 Honestly most of the songs that shouldn’t have been were but especially revenge party 😭 LIKE THE BIT WHERE THEYRE TALKING ABT CADY GETTING WITH AARON IS SO BAD 😭 Tf u mean “yes bitch” it’s supposed to be “yas cady” get it right u stupid whores 🤨. ALSO THE WHOLE CANDY CANE BIT IS SO BAD?? LIKE WHY IS IT SO FLAT WHERES THE YELLING THAT WHOLE BIT IS JUST NOT IT LIKE UGH 😭

I’d rather be me is also a song I don’t rlly listen to that much cuz honestly I cba sometimes but the chick playing Janis definitely redeemed herself cuz it wasn’t that bad tbh (considering she like,,literally is mf moana I would hope she is ok so 💀)

I see stars once again is one I tend to skip (also cuz I cba) but cady also kinds got her redemption moment cuz it was ok Ig lmao, deffo better than stupid with love and proved that the girl playing cady doesn’t completely suck ass

Whatever the fuck Renee did for the last song with mts is just a lil weird tbh like there was no need 😭
