they’re shown in order of oldest to youngest, sunshine skips would be just after wild style if they were included! they aren’t super developed as of rn so not much to say except their old designs are the one’s in the top left!
so im not sure how my lightning dust x rainbow dash x applejack truth came to be but they are so truthfully in love in my heart. no talk me
ok so like i dont like them together but i DO like the idea of lightning having a one-sided crush on dash. lightning does the rival thing as an attempt at flirting with/ impressing dash, but rd just does the rival thing bc lightning pisses her off
I saw your ship bingo ask and you know I just HAVE to get your opinion on applejack x rainbow dash x lightning dash!
while I don't produce content for them the vibes are just /chefs kiss/ like. Lightning Dust would probably be so thrown off by them asking her out (because I feel like AppleDash would be already existing then adding Lightning Dust bc they've kindled a close friendship then something more)
also all three of these ponies fit so much gender in them like... everyone is lgbtq+ all at once tbh dhdksfhks
sunshine skips and their moms🫶 lighting dust is soooo proud of her baby
in my heart, rainbow dash and lightning dust having kids made their competitive natures calm down A LOT after seeing how it could effect their children. I think it was for sure a lesson they learned while raising Sunshine Skips, but I think they were able to learn it while they were still young enough to not really remember having that pressure put on them :0)
they aren’t the perfect parents, but they’re trying!
Also in regards to last reblog (but not tacking it on bc I’m a coward) I think rivals to lovers is distinguishable from enemies to lovers. Because when they’re rivals it’s playful, it’s cartoonish, it’s just a friendly rivalry. Except well maybe they seem to be getting a little too friendly (that can mean what you want it to mean. Maybe they’re actually just becoming friends and it’s a rivals to friends to lovers thing idc, not my bowl of soup what whatever) rivals to lovers is a jokey standstill kind of dynamic where two characters actively try to hate each other in a purely competitive way. Even when there is no actual competition. The rivals can also be friends (good example of that; appledash) but they don’t have to be (fantastic example of that; lightningdash).
But ultimately I think it’s important to indulge writing/reading a little bit of toxicity (if not a lot a bit of toxicity) not just . Vulnerability. Somebody snapping at the person they love because they’re in a tough spot is not toxicity. That’s just vulnerability. The toxicity is someone actively initiating being rude as fuck to someone else because they just want to. So maybe they’re looking for a verbal fight, maybe something physical. Point is they didn’t snap, they said that shit willingly and I found it massively entertaining. I’m entertained, I’m writing character analysis about what they said your feeble mind cannot even begin to comprehend (<- exaggerated joke. Relax)
