I was playing A Plague of Lighthouse Keepers and my oldest asked me who was singing so I told her. She busted out laughing bc "the name Peter has pee in it". 🤣 She never laughed at that name before and we listen to A LOT of Gabriel era Genesis. Shout out to all the Peters out there, y'all have pee in your name so hang in there. 😅 Oh yeah, the title "A Plague of Lighthouse Keepers" sounds like there's a bunch of lighthouse keepers running around causing problems. 🤣 That's not what the song means but it's pretty funny to imagine.

Summary:

My idea for a Pete’s Dragon AU story

I have an idea for a Pete’s Dragon AU story with Adean as the role as Elliott the Dragon and her best human child friend Billy as the role of Pete except Adean will be a former human now a dragon shifter and Nemo not being a orphan child inslaved by mean guardians or lost in the forest after his parents died, no, I want my human child character being Nemo from the Netflix movie Slumberland be supported by her uncle Philip but wishes to have a friend outside her family like her Uncle Philip and her father Peter who died at sea and was a former lighthouse keeper later to meet a big purple dragon named Adean Eris Micheals who was formally a normal human girl but now a form of a big lovable purple dragon who ventures along with Nemo through different worlds in the Dream Realm as well as different worlds in the waking realm.

Nemo rides on Adean’s back throughout the different realms in both the dream realm as well as the waking realm.

I think Adean and Nemo could be good friends and go on all sorts of adventures together as they meet new friends as well and different creatures while going on different adventures together while Nemo still has a a close relationship with his uncle Philip as well as him getting to meet and know Adean.

I don’t know yet it’s just a story idea that I might need to brainstorm out before I write it online on my Wattpad account but I also want to write other stories too outside of Adean and Nemo’s adventures together traveling to other worlds.

I might want to write other stories like of Brand New Animal, TMNT, Mighty Morphing Power Rangers, Pokémon, Digimon, Beastars, Disney and so much more.

So I just made a Brand New Animal of named Vaz Summers a coyote beastman oc that’ll fit in my crossover world of Brand New Animal and TMNT and so on maybe.

But so far I want to do this story of Adean and Nemo’s adventures together, I don’t have a title for it yet but I’ll try to get a good title in once I start brainstorming ideas for my story before I write it on my Storyist app then on my Wattpad account.

ive had a couple people over the past few years ive been into ph/vdgg ask me how to get into them and there just isnt a good answer honestly because theyre so different from yes/ genesis/ elp/ other major prog bands, there's nothing that will prepare you for them. like even if i said listen to refugees to get warmed up they dont do a ton of stuff like that you know.

but whats good about them is that they ARE so different, thats why i love them, there is no good comparison. maybe early king crimson gets close but there is no other vocalist like peter hammill besides like. rob halford and even then hes pretty different, he just has some of the same tricks (the growls, the screams, the shrieks etc)

if you want to get into vdgg, i would say be prepared to get progged hard (that was essentially the warning mrs hammill (alison) gave me when i started listening to them lol) and be prepared for something you've never really heard before. darkness 11/11 was the first vdgg song i fell in love with and i think thats as good of a starting place as any, because it has almost everything you'd want from a vdgg song imo, then maybe lighthouse keepers because it really has EVERY element of a good vdgg song all in one. i know killer is a fan favorite but its so mild imo, its a one-off as far as im concerned.

also, WAY too few people appreciate boleas panic. it might be one of my favorite prog instrumentals ever, its such a sexy song. listen to boleas panic if you have not already, especially if you already listen to vdgg, there is nothing stopping u.

Funny you said that anon. I was supposed to make a one shot. Things went out of control. Thank you for the idea also apologies it took so long, i realy was aiming for something short but errr.

The theme of horror, consumption of the things you love and monsters got to me and shit happened.
