After you had seen Sukuna for yourself just a few weeks ago, you heart still aches with confusion.
Didn’t he miss you after years of being apart?
Whatever the reason, Sukuna showed no signs of trying to explain himself. Removing himself from the room whenever class ended, ignoring all the women that were desperately trying to make their way into his path. It didn’t bother you much, other than the burn of your old memories.
Sukuna was so different from his childhood. What happened?
“And with that,” Toji’s cool voice suddenly snapped into your thoughts, making you blink and drop your pen. You were in the middle of class, thinking about your small-world problems. Could you be any more pathetic?
“I’ll excuse you. But make sure to have your presentations and your names on them before showing me anything. I’m sick of group projects without both of your names.”
Oh right, group projects.
You normally didn’t need a partner, given that the uneven number of students in the class left you with no one. Toji, being a rather relaxed teacher, just handed out the F’s that were needed for the shitty projects and even sometimes handed out very low D’s to the three chicks that normally hovered around in the back when they presented.
After about ten minutes, the bell for the end of class rang and you stood up, your eyes making their way over to Sukuna once again as he stood and grabbed his things. It was a note day, so he had to put in a few things, but his phone buzzed as someone sent him a text.
You wondered who it was, but quickly grabbed your things and headed down to intercept Sukuna’s path. Though he didn’t care, he picked up his phone and hastily sent something to the other person and stuffed his phone into his pocket. But before he could walk away, your body blocked him, and a grimace instantly clouded his features.
“Yo,” You said, cringing at the small greeting and sighing. “Wh-What’s up..? D-Dude..?”
Note one: People skills need fixing.
“Yo,” Sukuna mimicked, a smirk on his annoyed face as he picked his bag up. “Are you done? I got Computers next.”
“I want to talk to you.”
He let out a sigh, pushing past you as he felt the teacher’s eyes bore into the side of his head. Walking towards the door, he looked back at you and scoffed. “For a smart bitch, you should get the hint.”
You blinked a few times, watching him leave as students poured out behind him.
What had gone wrong for him? Wasn’t he proud to have achieved his goals of getting into a top-graded school? Didn’t he want to talk to you at all? This was a once in a lifetime opportunity to catch up, so why didn’t he want anything to do with you?
With a huff, you followed. Eventually finding Sukuna in a crowd and tugged on his arm. “Sukuna!”
“Let me go,” He snapped back, his voice dark as he turned his red eyes towards you again. “I’m not talking to you.”
“Then tell me why!” You said, your cheeks burning as the attention of some passerby students looked over towards you and Sukuna. “Just tell me, so I know. Please.”
Sukuna stared at you, the steady breath coming through his nose being the only noise you heard past the squeaking of shoes and then chatter of voices.
There were little to no one caring about the small argument that was going on between you and him, but there wasn’t any hesitation when he grabbed your wrist and pulled you towards one of the empty classrooms that no one really frequented unless they wanted to get busted with a cigarette on campus.
“Agh! Hey!"
"Shut up."
The stern growl in his tone made you shut up, sighing with annoyance as he pulled you towards the empty classroom. Slamming the door once you were both inside, Sukuna pushed you away from him and released his hold on your wrist, a firm scowl settling on his features.
"Since you won't leave me alone," He muttered, pressing his back against the door, locking the door with an echoing click. "I'll just tell you before I get a fucking restraining order on you."
You sighed, "That's all I want. Just tell me."
Sukuna stayed quiet for a moment, looking you over with a grimace as if he hated your very existence. A deep rooted anger with you was what he had behind his glare and his distance, making sure that you didn't step closer. He didn't want, or need you, anymore.
No matter how pissed off or scared he was, he couldn't let it show.
"You wanna know that badly?"
You nodded, making his annoyance worse.
You should've guessed by now, or did you get dumber while he was away? "Fine. Sit."
While the air in the room got tense and thick, you sat at one of the desks and crossed your legs, arms crossed and staring at your former best friend. His eyes boring into yours with anger, clear and unchecked.
Does he plan on killing you right now?
"The reason I want nothing to do with you," Sukuna started, removing himself from his spot on the door and stepping towards you. The sounds of his books and pencils moving around in his bag make you hold your breath. "Is because you left me with nothing."
"What..?" Your breath hitched as Sukuna's fist slammed against the creaky old desk top, silence catching you once again in its tight embrace. His face was so close you could smell the minty concoction of his toothpaste and the cinnamon taste of his gum.
"No calls, no texts. Not even a letter with your name or mine on it," Sukuna answered, his jaw tight and his eyes wide with frustration. "You didn't try reaching out to me, not even asking how I was, or how Yuji felt after you left me alone. My deadbeat father caused nothing but pain and you weren't there to help me. Thankfully, he drank himself to the grave so I don't have to hear him screeching profanities in the middle of the night at some whore."
You were still in your seat, looking up at Sukuna with a great deal of sadness. Abandoned him? That what he thought you had done?
No.. it's what you did.
He was right when he said you didn't try to reach out, to help him in one of his darkest hours. No wonder he hated you and wanted nothing to do with you, you weren't there for him even though he was there for you since day one.
"You get it now." Sukuna huffed, his voice laced with pure rage. "Now, fuck off, Y/n. If I want to talk to you, I will."
Sukuna stood his breath heavy as he let out a sigh, his V-cut black sweater hanging loose from his shoulders and body. His tie looked disheveled and loose, much like his belt and pants. From what you could tell, he looked like your average artsy college kid, though what you felt deep inside your chest told you different.
The kid you remember from almost a decade ago, wasn't the Sukuna that was standing before you. He was different, in a weirdly intoxicating way.
Why was that?
"Okay," You mumbled, squirming in your spot as the male scoffed, turning to leave.
"I'll see you later then, in Toji's class." Sukuna commented, unlocking the door and exiting. His mind focused back on his classes as he walked down the hall, hearing the door from the classroom open again as you left too.
From where you stood in Sukuna's circle, you considered going after him but chose better. You walked in the opposite direction, towards the direction to your next class.
With all the information you learned today, you decided that you would listen and stay away.
Wait for him to come to you, to be patient.
That was until Toji called you both over to his desk later on that nest day and sighed with a bit more annoyance than normal. His green eyes searching you both while he tapped his red inked pen with a grimace.
"So, Y/n. When do you plan on giving Mr. Ryomen here his first lesson?"

Hes very aggressive and hard to approach but he turns into an excited little kid if you ask him about bugs (he tries to hide it tho)
He uses his quirk for cutting food instead of actual kitchen utensils. That habit has caused way to many problems in the past.
I feel like he would really be into wood carving.
I mean he has a nick (idk how to spell it lol) for carving things and the blades of his quirk can be different shapes so... idk i just think hed be good at it.
Hes very loud and brash but thats why I think he would be a good therapist. Like imagine your telling him about some problem in your life and he just screams "Bitch what?!" At the top of his lungs XD
He really likes playing call of duty and other games like that.
Not because he likes first person shooter games but because he likes to cuss out 12 year olds in the lobby <3 its very therapeutic.
Other than that tho i cant see him playing many other videogames.
I feel like hes strangely good at chemistry and any other science class but don't ask him for help. He'll just say a bunch of words you dont know and you will learn litterally nothing.
Well versed in the language of plants and flowers but would rather die than let anyone know that.
Hes either an only child or the oldest of like 7 kids, no in between.

I'm not going to be completely impartial, but I will at least maintain a level of grace around my favoritism. I put a limit to the number but several of these crossovers are from a project that Ship and I have been working on for right at three years now, and I'm not going to pretend I don't have feelings about those. For people who are trying to get into writing fics of the quality and length of the tacomlu, do you have any tips?
Oh dear.
Okay I'm going to be totally honest. The TACOMLU was not supposed to be as long and convoluted as it is now. Originally it was going to be a trilogy- one story in each of the major SMP's. That very obviously changed, and for a few reasons.
I think what's most important outside of the writing aspect, is to have someone just as coco bananas about the source material as you. Without @chambers003 ,I never would've done all this. The story would've stopped at OLS. But they gave me so many ideas, and opened up all sorts of possibilities. So get yourself a friend who'll hype you up.
For actual writing though, my biggest problem has always been a lack of source material. There were a lot of droughts between streams on the DreamSMP that made writing it difficult. That's how the In The Heights arc happened! It's one of my favorite arcs!
So don't be afraid to get creative, snd pull inspiration from random places. Irl experiences, TV shows, books, something you heard from a friend, anything really.
Don't be afraid of big words, simple words, or flowery words either.
Writing is a learn as you go type deal. My writing from OLS is WAY different to LAYLOM, and I have to remind myself that's a good thing.
Oh! Read actual books! I know a lot of fic authors who read only fic. Believe it or not, I'm actually not a big fic reader myself. I've only read maybe 4 fics? (Passerine, DATD, ATUS, and The Hermit Archives. I'll read dramaturgy eventually). But read ACTUAL books! Graphic novels! Books for 2nd graders! Textbooks! To write, you gotta read.
Also, don't focus on the numbers if you're posting somewhere. I focus way too hard on comments, and get in my own head a lot. Just because not a lot of people comment after you've just had days worth of comments doesn't mean you're doing something wrong. But also it's okay to feel bummed out about it! Just don't let being bummed out define you.

I’ll start with our resident Filipino legend Acec since he’s in the same timeline as my gang. Xe’s a very OuO guy, so I think at first Ash and Kylie would be a bit put off, maybe try but struggle to hold conversations with him. They may eventually they warm up to him when they realise xe is just A Guy and not a changling of some kind. But fellow autism Madina knows there’s no need for flowing conversations when you have funny little pictures to share. They’d hit it off best with their simultaneous lack of seriousness and genuine sincerity. They snoop around team Dungeon collecting The Goss. They sit quietly and watch mcyt videos for hours on end, eyes dead and legs bouncing. Madina would pick him up and swing him around like Mario swinging Gay Bowser. Also they both like beautiful men. Maybe they can double date and re-introduce Tsubasa and Bao to each other, since they definitely do not remember each other at all. God bless amercia o7
Trucker Dave is the person who’s most likely to know Vita and the crew since he's Coach Steel’s husband. Idk if Steel’s still the main coach in the Zero Era but ain’t no way he’s out of there completely, so Dave still passes through from time to time. And if he notices a kid having a rough time, he'll try to offer a bit of Queer Trucker Wisdom. With Vita being the leader of her team and also queer, it's likely Dave could notice her going through some Stuff and give some good ol' advice, maybe let her pet his dog while she vents a bit. They both seem to have very calming and trusting presences so I think they'd get on quite well.
Now, ASHANTI. Ash would LOVE Vita. In her time, she was the only female team leader in the championships, so seeing an up-and-coming female team leader would be absolutely delightful. At that point she's also a beyblading coach, so maybe she could reach out and give some advice? Offer some training or even a mentorship if she can stand being in the US for that long? They're both sort of "older sister" figures, so she could also help Vita navigate the feelings that come with that (also them combined with Aria and Kylie?? Slay).
The Birrung girls would see Ashton Angsto and think "man aren't we glad we had no dudes on our team" or maybe "wow the kids these days have problems. we had problems once." But they don't see him as a threat to anyone as much as just a dickhead who'll hopefully learn about the magic of friendship, as all other minor dickheads in the championships tend to do. So long as he stays in his lane and doesn't join any evil corporations, they won't sick any wild hounds on him (although if Ash is also Vita's mentor... then that might change. Go full Madina mode if you know what I mean (I really don't care that you're a baby, I'll snap your neck like a twig)).

It's okay to feel sad sometimes, I admit I felt really empty for the whole month of march with the admins situations and etoiles not be well. I think right now it goes past me, the new interview was not great news but it didn't felt like a surprise. I think I'm just detached now, and new objectives are a good start for this! I mainly watch the French and the LA streamers but Foolish transitioned his content with famsmp and some variety, Tubbo has the tubbaton with lot of activities...
Etoiles have a monthly goal with the Zlan and the trivia training, so it feels like the channel is having a training arc, something we love everyear! It brings a lot of new games, guests and tryharding so it's very cool to watch! Before qsmp he didn't really streamed minecraft at all (except the speedrun for a past zlan) so a lot of viewers are happy to see him back on some variety ^^
But yeah I think it's harder with streamers that where relying of the server for content like fit, Philza, bagi, pac, bbh, pac... I guess them stopping/reducing playing on it feels more "brutal" since they mostly do qsmp. For exemple cellbit, etoiles and antoine always did a lot of variety and where not streaming that much qsmp these past months so it's easier to let it go when you watch them

I became detached very quickly, i think the feelings are coming back now though kkkkk. I know etoiles viewers were having a worried month, im glad hes back and that you all have your hearts more at ease 🫂 the admin situation still sucks, but we can continue to love lumi even if she wont be pomme anymore
Im excited for etoiles training arc, its my first time seeing it and i absolutely adore variety now thanks to him, and especially when its him doing it <3 i know nothing about zlan but im excited to learn and experience it!
Philza was my main streamer for a while and he was completely ok doing nothing but hardcore for two whole years (with a little origins smp interjection but well.. that died quickly), and everyone was completely ok watching it. I dont think phil and crows will have problems if phil stops playing but for the rest my heart aches :( pac, bagi, bbh, fit, their stories are all so good and its so unfair it ended like this, with admins being fired.
Thank you for supporting my french adventures, i will not stop learning it o7 i think my main streamers will be etoiles, baghera and aypierre now (i see pierre is having fun in stardew valley and ive never watched it but im interested!) and occasionally guill because i saw him play one (1) mc tournament and oh my god. The movements? Its so smooth?? Crazyyyyyy.... i hope that by zlan i can know a lot more french and not have to rely on subtitles so much o7

A little Nico x Ace thingy because if you mention Ace in any pairing I will be thinking about it for a while (plus Arei anon’s ao3 fic inspired me).
“G-good boy.” Nico stuttered out, a dazed expression on their face as Ace pounded into them.
Ace hated the small noise that escaped him when Nico said that, and he hated the arousal he felt even more. Because he was supposed to be in charge, he was supposed to be in control. He wasn’t supposed to give a fuck about whether Nico thought he was doing a good job or not, or what they wanted him to do. Nico wasn’t supposed to be able to make him feel like he would do anything they said for a bit of praise. He hated feeling like that. It was this hatred that convinced him to go faster, harder, and he hated that that was probably what Nico wanted as well.
And that’s the cycle that continued, until they finally ended their usual apology session.
Ace was putting on his boots, getting ready to leave Nico’s room and pretend none of this happened as usual, when the Pet Therapist called out to him. This was out of the ordinary, since usually the two of them parted ways without a word to each other.
“H-hey.” They said it softly, so much so it was almost a whisper. “Whenever I praise you, you let out this little whimper and your face gets all pink. I-if you like it I can…do it more? This is my apology, right? So if that will make you happy I’ll do it.”
Ace was frozen, unsure how to respond. Eventually he just settled for saying, “Shut up,” under his breath.
“S-so does that mean you don’t like it? I can stop doing it.” Nico continued.
All Ace had to do was say, ‘Yes, I hate it, stop doing it’ and this entire problem of his would be solved. If he gave Nico literally any other answer, then they’d know that whether Ace would admit it or not, he liked it when they praised him, because if he didn’t like it they both knew he would’ve let them know immediately.
Which is why Ace despised the fact that couldn’t say anything except, “Whatever.” As he left the room.
Hope that wasn’t weirdly long or anything.

hello local math-knower—
this is my first time hearing about the mathematical concept of a random walk, so I gotta ask (and sorry in advance if this is a stupid question, I’m not a math person)— is this concept able to be used as a counter for the concept of laplace’s demon? Because if something is truly random it shouldn’t be calculable
(I also don’t know much about laplace’s demon. I don’t know much about anything, I just go around asking dumb question)

I don't think random walks specifically can be applied to Laplace's demon, because random walks are a mathematical complex used to, if we are being specific, create models for objects with unpredictable states/behaviors. Going back to my Ranpo post, let's take a path of a molecule moving through gas. Said molecule will move in a ways that are impossible for us to predict, so a random walk is used to describe it, but in reality the reason for it's unpredictability is not randomness - in fact, it does still operate under a dynamical system (since we are talking about movement), which is deterministic, so nothing random is going on, - it's actually things like high 'sensitivity' to conditions and variables, which there are a lot of, so it would be more correct to say that the movement of our molecule (in the same system as Laplace's demon, aka in material world and not theoretically) would be covered by chaos theory! The closest thing we have to true randomness irl are quantum mechanical processes which are considered completely random, but there is no way of telling for sure if there are any hidden variables at play or no (at least, for now). So no random paths for Laplace's demon :(
Now that we have established that, let's try answering a slightly different question - can chaos theory be used as a counter to Laplace's demon? Unfortunately, no. There were attempts at presenting chaos theory as a counter argument, but, as I have stated, chaos theory still follows determinism, the sensitivity towards the initial conditions is just Super High (the butterfly effect is a good way of explaining it), which will not be a problem for our demon, who knows every detail with infinite precision and can, therefore, make predictions even for chaotic complex systems.
I really hope I wrote this in a way that makes sense T_T

Hi! I don’t want to be a bother, but I’ve encountered a weird bug in act 2; I’ve done everything to trigger the phone ringing event, but for some reason Gabriel isn’t outside in the courtyard when I exit the basilica. I’ve tried 3 different times and it hasn’t worked yet, so I’m really confused. Am I doing something wrong or is the game truly bugged?

These things happen, and it's always good for me to know:) I'm terribly sorry you're having this trouble, as, I've never heard or experienced this bug myself, so I'm having trouble recreating any issues with Gabriel showing up. Here's a process under the read more, in case something was missed;
[I should probably also ask, just in case, if you have the current update out (ver2.1) or the older version (ver0.2) ]
Gabriel should always automatically pop up once you get the 01/03 video tape from this grave site,
And then after this, you will go straight to this spot and interact with this gate.
An event should automatically play once you have the video tape at this location and interact with this tile. You collect the cell phone from here, and you can go out to here, below, to find Gabriel.
I do not know how to recreate your bug, so, I'm really sorry this is happening to you anon:( I wish there was more I could do to help.
Sometimes games are just very randomly buggy.
I've never been able to get Yume Nikki to work for me, despite all of my friends having no problems with it. I would suggest maybe starting from another save file and trying again, and seeing if it works? If not let me know, and I'll try my best to see what's really going on in your files.... best of luck, anon o7
