Y/N’s POV

Rock music played throughout the lair as the guys were working out. Well, Raph and Mikey were. Leo and Donnie were out on a junk yard run. I sat on the couch with my nose in a book. I had to read a book for a class and we had to have three chapters done by the next class. Even though that was two days from now since it is the weekend, I was reading ahead. I was so into my book that I didn’t hear the guys entering the room.

“Hey bookworm.” I screamed as my book went flying. I heard Raph laughing behind me. I turned to look at him as he caught my book mid-air. I glared.

“Not funny.” I said.

“I thought so.” He said before holding my book out. I went to reach for it but at last second he pulled it out of reach. I made a sound in protest before jumping over the back of the couch.

“Give it.” I told him before grabbing for it. He moved it before I could even touch it. “Raph!” I exclaimed.

“Come on.” He urged before holding it over his head. “Come get it.” He joked. I rolled my eyes before reaching up. He was taller than me and I couldn’t reach it. “Come on, Shortie. Jump for it.”

“Raph! Come on just give it to me.” I hit his plastron before attempting to jump for it. I still could reach. “You’re no fair. I can’t reach it and you know it.” I pouted and crossed my arm. He cooed and brought the book down and put it behind his back.

“Aww, poor baby.” He cooed again. “You’re so cute when you pout.” He said. I blushed bright red and looked down. He chuckled before he went to say something else. He was interrupted. As he turned nearly all the way around, my book was brought into my reach. I quickly grabbed it from his grip and darted. “Hey!”

“Mine.” I grumbled as I settled into my spot on the couch again. He walked over and leant on his arms on the back of the couch.

“Dirty trick, Sweetie.” He told me, smirking. I blushed at the nickname he started calling me after I had brought sweet tarts to the lair for two weeks in a row.

“You left yourself wide open.” I gave him a smirking back before looking down embarrassed. I heard him chuckle again. After a bit, I could feel him watching me as I read. I glanced up at him only to see him staring. I quickly looked back down and tried to ignore his gaze. Just when I was about to say something, Donnie came in calling for Raph.

“Raph! We need your help moving this in.” I heard Raph groan.

“What did you get this time? The Arc of the Covenant?” He joked. I giggled as Donnie rolled his eyes.

“Nooo. But I did find a piece of machinery that I can use to improve the lair.” He continued to talk as he walked out again.

“My lord.” Raph looked back at me with a “really” face. I just shrug. “Don’t get into too much trouble while I’m gone, Sweetie.” He started to walk away. I popped up on my knees on the couch.

“I never get into trouble.” I leant on the back of the couch leaning over it. As he looked back one elbow slipped and nearly fell over the couch. Once I caught myself, I looked back at him to see him raise an eye ridge.

“Oh really?” He teased. I opened and shut my mouth before glaring slightly and throwing myself back into the couch. I could hear him laughing as he walked away. I rolled my eyes before smiling to myself.

“He called me cute.” I murmured and literally buried my face in my book.

*Time Skip*

By the time the boys finished helping Donnie get the machine piece in the lab and set up, Mikey had gone and gotten dinner. Leo and Raph plopped down heavily on either side of me, groaning and rubbing their sore muscles. I chuckled at the two. Leo just gave me a knowing smile and Raph gave me a small glare.

“Having troubles?” I asked innocently. Raph looked up at me has he rubbed the back of his neck.

“You could say that. That thing wanted to lean more than the Leaning Tower of Pisa.” He set his head back, sighing.

“We would right it one way then it would lean the other.” Leo continued on what Raph said. “It took forever to get it to settle.”

“Did someone say Pizza?” Mikey came over holding multiple boxes. He set the out and handed me a smaller box. “Your personal pizza ma’am.”

“Thanks Mikey.” I said softly. Everyone dug in and I opened my box. As I slowly ate my pizza the other guys were close to being finished. Every time I set down a piece I would wipe my hands. After a little bit, I heard Raph chuckle. I knew he wasn’t a part of the conversation the boys were having because he never made a comment. “What?”

“Nothing.” He said. I looked at him to see him staring at me again. I raised an eyebrow. He over-annunciated a sigh. “I laughed because of your little quirk of wiping your hands after every bite, Sweetie.” I blushed at the nickname.

“I don’t after every bite.” I mumbled before tugging at my sleeves. He chuckled again and poked my cheek. I swatted his hand causing him to laugh out loud. I huffed and crossed my arms.

“Aww is someone grumpy?” He poked me again.

“No that would be you, per usual.” I said sarcastically. He rolled his eyes.

“Yeah, your usual is being a shy little brat. You can’t even talk to Casey without tripping over yourself. My lord.” He laughed at himself. My face fell and I curled into myself. I saw Leo look at me from the side.

3rd POV

“Hey Raph...” Leo tried to say something.

“It took you forever to even talk to us normally. I mean you would think it would be hard for us to let alone a human.” He continued on despite Leo. Y/n shrunk farther into herself. “It’s hard to believe how shy you are.”

“Raphael!” Leo yelled. Raph jumped and looked at him in confusion. “Shut up!” Leo told him firm. Raph was confused until he noticed how quiet the table was. He looked at everyone and noticed everyone was looking at Y/N. He looked at her and noticed the hurt expression.

“Oh Y/N, I…” Before he could apologize Y/N darted out of her seat and out of the room. “Oh Shell.”

“You got that right.” Leo said sternly. The other two didn’t look any happier than Leo sounded.

“I was only teasing.” Raph defended even though he knew that he was in the wrong.

“Well, appartently, it was more than teasing for her. You knew she doesn’t like being shy but she can’t help it. It makes her insecure when someone mentions it.” Donnie sassed with a glare.

“I, I, I…” He shut his mouth. He looked down at his plate before hitting the table in frustration. He got up from the table and followed Y/N.

Y/N’s POV

I sat in some random sewer tunnel. In my storm out I got lost and just decided to sit down. There were only a few tears on my face. The shy teasing was something I was used to at school but it hurt coming from Raph. I had my head on my knees until I heard footsteps running my way. I backed up into the wall in fear.

“Y/N!” I heard Raph yell. Before I could say anything he shot around the corner. Panic was written on his face. He finally saw me and relief took its place. “Oh my god, Y/N. You scared me. I couldn’t find you, I thought something happened to you.” He knelt down. “I am so sorry, Y/N. I know you don’t like that you’re shy and I was an idiot to even mention it. I’m so-orry.” His voice cracked. He changed his stance to where he was kneeling like he was in front of sensei with his head down.

“Raph…” I relaxed a bit. I reached forward and touched his shoulder. He wouldn’t look at me. I couldn’t help myself and trace my hand up his neck. When my fingertips brushed his mask. I gently grabbed the tail of his mask and twirled it around my fingers. He was so close to me.

“I can’t believe I hurt you. I hurt the one that I…” He trailed off and looked up at me. I could see what he didn’t say in his eyes. I saw love. “I am so sorry. Please forgive me. I will never do anything to hurt you on purpose and if I ever do you can do whatever you want. Hit me, scream at me, leave me…” I cut him off before he could ramble on by pulling on the tail of his mask.

“Shush.” I pulled him to me and kissed me hard. He made a sound of surprise before quickly kissing me back. His hand came up and gripped my cheek while mine still gripped tight to his mask. We slowly pulled away from each other, his mask slipping through my fingers.

“Wow.” He whispered. I smiled and placed my hand on his plastron.

“I won’t ever do any of that. We will be able to work anything out.” I looked into his eyes. “As long as we believe in each other and…” I paused. “We believe in our love.” His eyes widened.

“You love…”

“Yes Raphael. I love you, more than anything.” I admitted. He smiled wide before pulling me into his arms.

“I love you too. So much.” He held me tight. We just sat there for a while, enjoying the feel of each other’s arms. “Come on. Let’s get back before they send a search party.” He helped me up. I gripped onto his bicep as he wrapped his arm around my waist. He leant and captures my lips. The passion was evident.

“You’re stalling.” I mumbled against his lips.

“Yep.” He chuckled. He set his arm across my shoulders as he lead me back to the lair. “Now what was with that kiss? That came out of nowhere.” I blushed and looked down.

“I had to get you to shut up somehow.” I joked. He smirked and rolled his eyes.

“Well you can use that method at any time.” He smiled at me. We walked in comfortable silence until we made it to the entrance of the lair. He looked down at me. He gripped my chin before kissing me again.

“Well looks like you two made up.” We pulled apart and I saw Leo leaning against the column. He was smirking. I blushed before burying my head in Raph’s neck.

“If you must know, yes we did Fearless.” Raph said. “Now get lost. And take Mikey with you.” I peeked out and saw Mikey doing the same thing from behind Leo.

“Fine, fine.” Leo held up his hands in surrender. “I’m glad you’re alright, Y/N.” He said before dragging Mikey away.

“Now there’s one more thing we need to clarify.” Raph looked down at me with a nervous glint. “Will you, ummm…”

“Yes, I’ll be your girlfriend.”

“How did you…I am not going to even ask.” He said before kissing me again. I giggled into it. “Now, I am in the mood for some more pizza, since I kinda ruined dinner and didn’t finish.”

“Me too.” We walked into the lair and towards the kitchen.

“I love you, Sweetie.” I smiled.

“I love you too, Raphie.” He rolled his eyes but said nothing to the name before pulling me into his arms.

Donatello had gotten everything in place having planned every small detail to his surprise for his Fiancé special day.

Today she was royalty and they all made sure she felt it â€“ she had been surprised that morning by waking up to him and their girls with breakfast in bed and roses for her, having some family time while the others were setting up the den for their own surprise for their newest sister and daughter

He had set up a special dinner for them getting his baby sister to help with cooking his mates favorite meal while he had made her a birthday cake getting Mikey to decorate it beautifully with a white icing and several light purple roses ‘Happy Birthday Ashley’ written across the top thanks to Raven fixing it, had gotten Raven and Angel as baby sitters for the girls even though he was sure he didn’t have to ask they loved getting time with the twins, after dinner he had chosen for them to enjoy themselves

He hadn’t told her anything past they were going to do something but had gotten her something special to wear; a beautiful flowy purple dress with a pair of black leggings and comfortable shoes since she looked great in his color although the beauty looked great in anything she wore he loved seeing her in purple

The rest of their family had wanted to give her their gifts so he had made sure they had two hours to hang out before taking her to see what had been keeping him so busy besides their wedding preparations that he had just finished a few days prior

He had just gotten finished getting ready wearing the new shirt Raven had fashioned him so he looked a bit dressy for her checking himself in the mirror when she came downstairs coming to meet her, Donnie had nearly dropped upon seeing her she looked gorgeous in the outfit he had bought her and with the light make up she never needed she looked just like the queen he always saw her as only right then everyone else was getting to see it too

His heart melted as she smiled and being the gentlemen and her King he bowed kissing her hand “God you are beautiful baby” He stepped back as everyone came to wish her the happiest birthday smiling as the women fawned over her and his brothers give her small hugs

Angel had gotten her a bath set with several bath bombs going to make sure her friend and sister was going to get a few spa days while the girl played with their cousins, Raven had made her a coupon book from the twins to mommy so she could get spoiled by everyone not only for her birthday but whenever she needed a down day and found the cutest turtle pendent at the thrift store not far from their home since she wasn’t allowed to go far without Leo following her, Leatherhead had made the special trip from his place coming over to see his favorite little turtle girls who he was quite attached too bringing over a few things to Master Splinter and an invention Donatello had been helping him with so she could play her pictures and videos in holographic form playing with Rose who immediately reached for the croc cooing excitedly for him, April and Casey had swung by on their way to work to give her their gifts, the young reporter and officer had gotten her a new purse and wallet set with some gift cards to a few stores and restaurants being a double gift they had put in their money together so she could have a day out of the lair with or without anyone

Leonardo went out of his way and made her some therapeutic scented candles for relaxation giving them to her along with Splinters gift of a few new books he had sent his youngest child for knowing the young woman loved to read just as much as him if not more, Michelangelo chose to paint her a picture on a large canvas of the view from the porch of the sunset upstate at the cabin knowing how much she had loved watching with Donnie every time they were there, And finally, Raphael had come back from the Ha’shi with a large bag, he had knitted her one of the softest blankets from his good yarn making sure it was big enough for Don’s bed knowing they would both be using it and recently having been in the good mood he had finished it after making one for each of his children

They had all been having so much fun they all were so disappointed when Donnie had told them they needed to go taking her hand and leading her to the elevator going up to ground level taking out a silky black blindfold tying it around her closed eyes “Can’t go off ruining the surprise for the Birthday girl” he checked making sure she couldn’t see before scooping her up into his arms with a grin kissing her softly “Hope you are ready for the night of your life” he never gave her time to say anything before heading for the roofs and out across the city

It only took him twenty minutes to get where he was going landing on the roof softly walking her to the center of the area before hurrying to light the candles coming up behind her pressing another kiss to her neck untying the cloth over her eyes “Happy Birthday my Queen”

Her soft gasp told him he had done good in surprising her of course this would have n he always loved ever been possible without his family and friends to help him

He had gotten Casey’s help in reserving a roof on one of the hotel buildings for a party and it looked better than he had expected; there were several flowers and fairy lights decorations around the area they were going to be in, a single table set up for two with a centerpiece he had made for her. A cute tiara his sister had bought that he had decorated in jewels and flowers.

Angel had come to drop off the food while everyone was busy and it looked like the kitchen had kept it in a warm place since it was still hot, the cake was on a side table with several little candles already placed in it. He grinned seeing the hotel had sent them a bottle of champagne/wine as a complimentary gift for his biggest surprise of all that would probably top off tonight

He pulled her gently with him sitting her down and scooting her chair in before taking his own pouring her a glass of the sweetened liquor eating their meal by candle light under the moon and stars talking about whatever came to mind and after a while he found he couldn’t look away from her, she was so beautiful in the soft warm glow, they had finished their meal and cut the cake after he had sang Happy Birthday to her making her closer her eyes and wish for something even though she told him repeatedly she had everything she wanted clapping when she blew out her candles grinning as they ate seeing the surprise that he had made her cake on his own. The love he felt right then for her as she hummed eating more telling him how good it was that slowly got up turning on some music from a radio he had dropped off earlier the night before after he was sure nobody was going to be there until later.

The song playing luckily was just the one he had scheduled on his playlist for the night going back to her side he bowed smirking at her as he offered his hand “Would you give me this dance your highness” he kissed her hand when she gave it to him putting on his normal charm only doubling it wanting her to know she was his heaven and earth in this world.

He would never tell her but he knew she loved this side of him and with her around it came so easily

Never had he thought he’d be standing on a roof at a nice hotel with a beautiful woman in his arms as they slowly danced to some of their favorite love songs, or that he would be loved so willingly but someone as wonderful as his Ashley.

“Hope you are enjoying yourself” he held her close to his chest after bringing her against him from spinning her around, he always loved dancing but until he had met her he had never tried but somehow the first time he had taken her hands she moved with him flawlessly and it was like they were one and the same

The music played softly around them as they danced and for the moment no matter what hell they had been through in the last few months everything was perfect right then and he got to see heaven in its purest form. With a soft kiss to her lips he grinned before sweeping her off the ground holding her against him, he hadn’t noticed yet but it was well past eleven meaning it was time to show off the final and most important of the night

“Come on -Time for the biggest surprise of all Birthday girl” there was no time for her to say anything as the turtle gathering a few things placing the radio in the bag he had picked up before slipping down from the roof just as the door opened as the employees came up to clean and put stuff away for pick-up which he had already gotten the okay from April who was bringing him stuff come morning “Close your eyes baby~” once he was sure she wasn’t peaking he slipped into the top floor suite

This had been a favor he had called in but tonight was special and as long as he didn’t break anything it wouldn’t cost him - but that was only if he played nice and didn’t do as he was planning

THE LAST PART FOR MIKEY. It had been almost a month since your incident on the roof with Mikey and Leo. A stressful night that made you feel like you were losing your mind. Looking back as the past month you, it almost felt surreal to you. Like it has all been a dream and at any moment you'd wake up and be right back in that emotional hell. Mikey and Leo sorted out their issues(well, Mikey's issues) and talked things through, Mikey admitted to jumping to conclusions but Leo just smiled and gave his brother a playful slap on his shoulder and spouting something about stress. The brothers endless teased you about that night on the roof, claiming one person almost tore the fearsome foursome apart. You never stopped feeling guilty about that and since you had decided to stay in New York, you were always baking and buying the boys their favorite treats in a way to make up for the drama. Now as you laid curled up in your bed under a mountain of sheets, you glanced down at the name on your wrist and smiled softly. "Sugarplum!" You groaned hearing Mikey's cheerful voice fill your apartment. Quickly you pulled the covers over your head and remained perfectly still, hoping he would buy the lie that you were still sleeping. It wouldn't be fair to her or you, please tell me you understand, Sugarplum. I didn't want to hurt you but if I had stayed, I probably would've done somethin' stupid. I'm a lot of things but I ain't no cheater." His confession left you wide eyed and speechless. You had thought Mikey hated you but it was the complete opposite. He was the perfect gentleman, which took you by surprise since your, now, 'boyfriend' or 'lover' which ever you'd prefer was known to crack lewd jokes here and there. Mikey even made sure that the first thing you two did before you even entertained the idea of going on an official date was get Splinter's blessing. Of course Splinter was thrilled Mikey found his one and could now start on his own path to happiness. You knew Splinter had hoped that this would help mature Mikey but luckily for you, he was still the same joke telling, video game loving, skateboarding, pizza eating Ninja you had fallen in love with. Things with April were never tense. In fact, the first time you saw her after Mikey and her ended their relationship, she engulfed you into the tightest hug saying she was glad your soulmate ended up being Mikey. She had no ill will towards you or Mikey. Even now the two of you would have girls night while your boys were out patrolling. April did find her soulmate, Casey Jones--to no one's surprise-- so once a week the two of you would "double date" at her apartment since you couldn't take Mikey out in public. Mikey stayed over almost every night, or when Splinter would allow. The two of you were closer now than you ever thought you would be and you couldn't be happier. You knew Mikey loved you, but you couldn't wait for him to turn twenty so he could feel the heart pulling connection that you did every time you heard his voice. "You're being quiet, babydoll. Everythin' alright?" Mikey asked with a kiss to your neck, knocking you out of your own thoughts. You smiled and rolled over in his arms, your fingers running up his plastron slowly before leaning in to steal a quick kiss. "Of course. I'm just really, really happy right now." You beamed snuggling into your soulmates chest. "Are you happy?" Mikey chuckled and let his fingers brush through your hair gently before peppering your face with playful kisses, "Happier than Donnie at radio shack." He spoke in between kisses, "Happier than Leo with a ticket to Japan," he continued on, each kiss and word earning a giggle from you, "Happier than Raph in a room full of punching bags and Vin Diesel movies." With that you couldn't help but bust out laughing. Hearing you laugh made Mikey start attacking you with kisses and tickles. "Happier than Michelangelo at an all you can eat pizza bar?" You asked, playfully pushing him back onto his shell, you pulling yourself into his lap so you were straddling his hips. Mikey smirked and gave a light shrug of his shoulders, his hands resting on your hips. "Now let's not be unrealistic, Sugarplum. No one can be that happy." He teased with a wink. "What about, happier than Mikey when Y/N says they want to spend the day in bed?" You asked with a smirk and arched brow before reaching up to pull off his orange mask, and tossing it carefully to your bedside table. "Hell yeah, now you're speaking my language, baby." You swear you heard Mikey growl at the thought and before you could react, the ninja had you flipped onto your back and your hands pinned over your head. "I love you, Sugarplum." "Love you too, Mikey." END! [I HOPE YOU LIKED IT. I know this part is shorter than the others but I wanted to get it out before work in the morning. Thoughts on “Tokka Vs. The World”:

Remember that one time when Raph adopted a turtle from space after its mother (Tokka) was seemingly killed and we all were like “well, at least Raph gets a happy ending?” ...Remember that one time months later when it turns out that Tokka survived and came to earth to get her baby back? We’re rolling back into things with a huge opening in our final stretch to the end of season three. When a monster from their past threatens to destroy their whole world, the turtles must team up with Chompy to save the earth from Tokka’s wrath. Will they succeed? Probably, but let’s see! This post is so ALIVE with spoilers, so if you want to avoid them from burning you up, don’t keep reading. If you haven’t seen this comeback episode, now would be a great time to click here and watch it!

There’s some kind of pun to be found here along the lines of, “you can take the baby turtle out of space but you can’t take the space out of the baby turtle without its mother coming to absolutely murder you...” I’m sure it’ll come to me at some point in writing this, and I’ll let you guys know when I got it. Interesting things: - “Hey guys, remember how we gave Raph a space pet and never did anything with him ever again? Well we should make him a major plot device for reasons.” - The TMNT Writers, probably. - As a person who was never a fan of Chompy and/or didn’t care about his existence since he was introduced.....he is really cute. - Also, I appreciate the Godzilla reference. - There are many reasons Chompy shouldn’t play with Ice Cream Kitty, one being that he could literally murder the cat because HE BREATHES FIRE. - He apparently farts fire as well. - “Dude, you ever think about how big Chompy will get one day?” I have literally thought about that since they decided to take him Michelangelo. - “I feel bad about Chompy’s mom.” LOL REALLY DO YOU NOW????? - “Donnie said there’s probably nothing that could survive a super nova.” LOL REALLY NOW????????????????? - Someone please try to explain to me how Tokka knew where Chompy was. Don’t tell me she followed his scent or whatever because there is no oxygen in space and no smell. This is going to be a filler to the highest degree, isn’t it? - Am I the only person who still waits for the Triceraton foot to stomp down on the manhole cover in the theme song...? I swear that gave me PTSD. - Donnie and Casey getting along is my aesthetic. - So I guess we’re not done with this crystal business? - THIS JUST IN: NASA AND THE EPF WORK TOGETHER. - STAY CLASSY NEW YORK. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA. NICE. - How on earth did Splinter instantly know that it was coming straight for Chompy? I mean come on. - OH COME ON LEO, YOU HAVE SEEN TOKKA, YOU ALREADY KNOW YOU CAN’T JUST SPEAK TO THAT MASSIVE THING AND OFFER HER BABY BACK. CAN YOU EVEN IMAGINE HOW THAT CONVERSATION WOULD GO WERE IT POSSIBLE? “HEY LOL SORRY WE STOLE YOUR CHILD THANKS BYE.” - I typed that in all CAPS because it mattered that much to me. - You know Casey’s been poorly written for too long if even he’s surprised when he’s right. - ALL. HAIL. BISHOP. - Dear God I don’t even understand what this pep talk is. - Casey being so useful in this episode and the writers are literally MOCKING HIM because he’d finally being written the way he should be. STOP. BEING. AWFUL. TO. CASEY. - “And not semi-idiotic.” My new favorite line of the series. - I appreciated the fun running towards TCRI montage. - That guy was watching cat videos. - I’m sorry but there is no way they got into that elevator like that. I don’t even understand what just happened. - LOLOLOLOLOL @ THAT TMNT MOVIE REFERENCE!!!!!!!!! - Casey had a weapon that could have sent those grenades back. He did not use it. Ugh. - “We gotta get to that other ship!” There are literally 20 other ships. Which one is “that other” one? - “Destroy what you don’t understand.” DONATELLO, YOU ARE MY HERO. I feel like that was an underlying political message. - ALL. HAIL. BISHOP. !!!!!!!!!!!. - “I have become ambassador to earth.” That I’m not entirely thrilled about but I mean whatever. this whole season has just screwed with logic so much. - That awkward moment when Raph goes against Bishop and I am literally forced to side wth Bishop. - “He’s my sidekick in my mission to cleanse the city of evil.” WHAT? WHAT????? NO. I’M NOT OKAY WITH THAT. - Raph and Bishop’s “fight” was just added to the list of things this series didn’t need. - Not to be a downer but those pilots just exploded. - So after ALL THAT TALK AND ALMOST FIGHTING, Bishop just lets them go. REALLY. - THOSE TWO SOLDIERS JUST STOOD THERE WHILE BISHOP TOOK OUT THE FIRST ONE AND THEN DID NOTHING TO DEFEND THEMSELVES AGAINST HIM. - Casey is the best thing about this episode. - Pretty sure Tokka just set New York City on fire. - “YAAAAAAAS Mom YAAAAAASSSSSSS.” - Chompy, probably. - People are definitely dying in New York City right now. Tokka and the EPF are literally killing thousands of people. - Leo, please don’t fall back into your self-missions-of-definite-suicides again. That’s been our trope in season four and it hasn’t worked out. - I love watching Leo fight. Even though I told him not to do this last bullet point...he’s always choreographed so well and I love itttt. - Raph’s sense of balance is impossibly amazing. - Donnie is the only one who’s logically looking at any of this begging for Tokka not to eat them. - Can Tokka even understand Raph? Or hear him for the matter??? - As a person who is almost constantly way too emotionally invested in this series, I gotta say, I am not moved by this episode at all...especially this scene with Raph talking to Tokka and saying goodbye to Chompy. Sorry not sorry I guess. - YOU’VE. GOT. TO. BE. KIDDING. ME. - I AM SO ANGRY RIGHT NOW WITH THIS “RESOLUTION” THAT IT’S NOT EVEN FUNNY. - Casey can add “tasering a general” to his rap sheet. - That was the best high three of the series. - Tokka launching and flying away is still as stupid as it was the first time we saw it. - Leo cheering for his brother from the sidelines gave me feels. - Chompy will leave earth some day confirmed. Not through the duration of this series, though. Well...I guess I have to do breakdowns? There’s really not much serious depth to this episode. Not any that affects the overall plot, anyway. But the best thing about this episode is Casey. ...I know, I thought I’d never get to say that in a review, either. But seriously! This is the first episode where I was consistently rooting for Casey the entire time. Seeing him do so many things right for once was so great. What wasn’t great was that even the writers point out the dialogue that Casey has never been this useful before. And it’s frustrating because we know Casey is capable of great things if he’s given the chance to be! From the first moment we see him when he points out he’s concerned, to the awesome ideas he has, to the fighting he does, he’s solid from start to finish in this episode and I genuinely hope this is a turning point for his character. Here’s to hoping we get more of this Casey and less of “beginning of season four Casey.” Another thing I wanted to point out that happened in this episode was Casey pointing out Mikey is his sidekick. Mikey. Not Raph. I’ve definitely complained about it before, but Casey and Raph have always had a bromance in TMNT. I haven’t seen it nearly enough in this series yet, and it’s been bothering me. When Casey first met Raph, we were instantly given the promise that they were going to be bros, and there haven’t been enough episodes showing us their friendship in depth like other incarnations have shown us. This episode feels like it teased us with the things Casey should and can be, and I hope like hell we’ll get a Raph-Casey episode soon. Bishop just randomly popping up was great, because I’ve missed seeing him. Bishop randomly popping up as ambassador to earth was kind of weird. I mean, how could we have not gotten any forewarning about that? I would assume he’d contact the turtles about it, especially seeing as they fought together and he (along with the other Utroms) had entrusted them with the Black Hole Generator pieces. Him popping up and being so relevant kind of fit the theme of this whole episode, which was... SHOVING IRRELEVANT THINGS DOWN OUR THROATS! These are my final thoughts: this episode is basically pointless. Or at least, I feel like everything in this episode is pointless. I mean, considering I’ve been waiting so long for new episodes to come back, on top of the fact that we are literally closing in on what has promised to be an INCREDIBLE finale episode, seeing this episode that in no way enhances the plot was a bit frustrating. 2012 has done fillers before, but there’s always one or two moments in those fillers that play a huge role in the main story. This episode has nothing; it reminds us that Raph had a turtle, tries to put us through some moments that end up not mattering at all. Seriously, you expect me to believe that giant space turtle flew all the way to earth and just decided NOT to take her baby back because it seemed attached to Raph? I can’t deal. And like I said; we’re so close to the finale. I want to see us building towards that. Not wasting time on a pointless filler. I mean I didn’t hate the episode, but I hated that it gave me nothing to prepare me for the next step in our story. So honestly, I gotta give this one a 6/10, and that’s me being nice. So now that we’ve gotten this little one-shot out of the way...The Tale of Tiger Claw is coming up next. We’re finally going to get to look at the back story of one of our biggest enemies.
