Hehehe surprise fanfic! :D

🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼

"Barnaby! Hold still or you'll ruin the paint!" Wally huffed, sending the blue dog a glare that didn't hold any malice. This was the fourth time now Barnaby had pulled away, and he barely even started!

Barnaby whined, looking away to hide his blush. "Can't help it, bud! It tickles like crazy!"

Wally just shook his head fondly. He reached out and grabbed Barnaby's paw again to resume painting. "This was your idea." He said, painting one of the beans a lovely purple.

Barnaby held still for exactly 3 seconds before squeaking and pulling his paw away once more.

"Barnaby!" Wally scolded before bursting into giggles.

Barnaby pouted at him as his blush grew a darker shade of red. "It ain't funny!"

This only encouraged more laughter from Wally.

Barnaby groaned, silently waiting for his friend to finish.

When Wally finally calmed down from his laughing fit, he looked up at Barnaby with a soft smile. His eyes were still full of mirth, but he understood his friend's dilemma. "I understand if this is too ticklish for you. We could do something else if you'd like?" He asked with a slight tilt of his head.

Barnaby's breath hitched when Wally asked that. It was so genuine, but it was still flustering none the less. The inky abyss for eyes boring into his soul didn't help, either. He took a second to think it over. This was his idea after all. He could handle a little tickling...right? Besides, he couldn't refuse those eyes. Taking a deep breath, Barnaby nodded, returning his paw to Wally. "Ok. Yeah you can still paint 'em."

Wally grinned excitedly, picking up his brush and pointing it at Barnaby. "I'll try to be fast, but you must hold still." With that, Wally got to work painting the beans.

Barnaby didn't say anything as he gripped the bottom of his vest with his free paw. The dog was trying his best to resist pulling away. He really was! But It tickled so much! His shoulders shook as he giggled freely, closing his eyes to try and block out the tingly feeling.

Wally peaked at Barnaby when he finished the second bean. He looked so cute that Wally had to resist cooing at him. "You ok there pal?" He decided to ask instead.

Barnaby caught his breath before giving a thumbs up. "All good!" He answered, preparing for Wally to continue painting.

Wally hummed, picking a red to match Barnaby's blush.

After a few more minutes (and lots of giggling, squeaks, and wiggles) Wally was finished painting the paw beans.

"Aaaand done!" Wally announced, releasing the newly rainbow beans. "What do you think?"

Barnaby was still giggly and a little teary eyed while looking at Wally's work. The order went purple, light blue, red, and green. "Amazing!" He eventually replied, admiring the sparkly paint. (Yes. Wally used glitter paint)

Barnaby didn't expect to look over and see Wally giving him a teasy smirk.

"I'm so glad you like them, buddy!" Wally picked up his brush, wiggling it at Barnaby. "Because we still have to do the center~"

A personal headcannon of mine is that barnaby often plays prank calls on the rest of the neighbourhood and is then ambushed with tickles when he next walks around the neighbourhood.

I SAW THIS EARLIER. and thought it was super cute and drew it which is why it took so long to respond akdbnenwn but please barnaby deserves it 😭 he’s such a goof
