Anyone who knows me knows I’m a big admirer of the works of American Film Acting Pioneer Lon Chaney (1883-1930). I was in Colorado Springs recently, researching the performer for an independent project.

This is the humble grave of Chaney’s Mother, Emma Alice Kennedy Chaney. Four of her children (Lon’’s siblings), including two infants, rest nearby in unmarked plots.

If you know me, you know what a huge admirer I am of American Cinema legend, Actor-Director-Makeup Artist-Writer Lon Chaney, his works and his methods/philosophies. And you probably know of my experience with circus and clowning, and that I’m an actress-writer. So, you can imagine how I about fell out of my chair when I saw this from my extremely talented friend and fellow Chaney lover, Saul Alvarez.
