SK8 the Infinity's ending left a significant amount of people unsatisfied. One of the primary complaints was that Reki, the protagonist, never defeated ADAM, the antagonist. However, Reki's arc was never about winning. In fact, the show has never endorsed winning being the goal.

In most sports anime, there's a typical progression: Protag wants to be the best in a sport, and is often an underdog with great potential -> protag goes through Difficulties and trains -> protag eventually becomes the best and wins. But in SK8, winning was never the goal. It was merely a side effect of having fun.

Langa snowboarded with his dad because it was fun, he gained those skills because it was fun. Langa began skateboarding because it was like snowboarding, it was like being with his dad, and for the first time since his dad's death he found something that was fun. He spent a lot of time training because it was fun. He won against ADAM not because his goal was merely to beat ADAM, but because racing against ADAM was fun, and learning how to beat him was fun.

ADAM is an antagonist not necessarily because he's strong, but because he puts winning over having fun. He once had fun with skating, but his childhood conditioning, the pressure to be perfect in everything, eventually won out, and he stopped having fun because he focused on being the best. But, he's unsatisfied with being the best. He wants to skate with someone, he wants the thrill of high speeds while holding someone's hand, he wants to have fun skating with a friend. He needed to learn that skating isn't just about an adrenaline high, a spare moment of escape; it's about doing something fun.

And that is why Reki, the protagonist, didn't win. He didn't need to. He just needed to learn the core message of the show: Being good isn't the point, having fun is. Reki is good, but he isn't an elite skater, and for a time that gives him doubts. But he learns that fun is what matters, not skill level, and laughs after he loses to ADAM because he had fun, even if he didn't succeed.

Small side note: This also contributes to the show's queercoding. Being a perfect person isn't the goal, being a happy person is. Do what makes you happy, not just what's "correct". See the double meaning there? It's no mistake that ADAM, the successfully rich young politician, the skating master, is the antagonist who redeems himself, and is arguably the most queercoded character in the show.

They're so so sweet and my favorite characters of this show!!! The show starts with them as the scientists of the team who are inseparable best friends. They're already being referred to as Fitzsimmons and people joke that when hearing that they thought it was one person being referred to.At this point they aren't together yet. They went to the S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy of Science and Technology together and became friends when they were paired in chem lab. In the show there's so many times they show how much they care for each other. In one episode Simmons gets infected with an alien disease and Fitz goes into her containment area to help her find a potential way to cure it. And at the end of the first season they get locked in a medical pod in an airplane which is then dropped into the ocean and there's only one air supply and Fitz confesses his feelings for Simmons and then opens the pod and gives her the air. She pulls him to the surface and both of them live but he had some brain damage from being without oxygen. He does eventually recover and their relationship goes through lots of hardship though various intense situations out of their control like Simmons being stranded on an alien planet and Fitz working desperately to find a way to bring her back. But through all of the crazy scenarios they go through they love each other so so much and they built that love on a strong foundation of friendship. They are the most important people in each others lives even before their romance begins and I love them very much

A/n: Saw a prompt about this and wanted to get it done before school started, basically it's like that American Tv thing like kiss cam? CRACKFIC-ish

So you, Langa and Reki decided to watch a basketball match together. Reki went off to go buy snacks or something. And that left you alone.

With Langa.

Who so happens to be on the receiving end of your crush.

It was kinda awkward. (For you at least.) You wanted to say something but just wasn't sure what.

Suddenly, the crowd starts roaring and you focus your attention on the Megatron. It displayed the filter for the 'Kiss Cam' segment.

As it was making it's rounds, you suddenly see yourselves displayed on the big screen.

Your face reddened at the sudden attention and you turned away to hide.

Form the corner of your eye you can see Langa making an obvious 'no' gesture. You could hear the crowd making disappointed noises.

The kiss cam continued making it's rounds around the stadium, until it landed on the both of you again.

The crowd cheers louder now in hopes that it somehow gets the both of you to kiss. Again Langa makes his 'no' gesture and you shake your head to further prove your point.

What's unusual though is that it kept coming back to you both. At this point you're distressed at the attention you're receiving.

You're wondering why the cameraman is so adamant on having you both kiss.

Finally, after it's 5th time landing on you both, Langa turns towards you. You turn back to face him and give him a questioning look.

He slowly raises his hands to land on either side of your cheek. Once he's sure that you're ok with his touch he inches closer towards you.

Your heart was thumping.

As your lips were about to touch, Langa turns your head to the side and plants a kiss on your right cheek.

The crowd erupts into loud cheers.

A second year high school student. He's a returnee from Canada to his mother's hometown of Okinawa, Japan. He’s kind of spacey but he can also be really stubborn. When his father died he distanced himself from snowboarding, but when he met Reki he started to learn the fun of skating.

I see. Skating... is fun!

A Former Snowboarder He snowboarded with his father since he was 2. He can use that experience to show off a distinctive skating style. His high jumps and his ability to gain air are just like snowboarding. They started to call him Snow at “S” before he even know it.

He goes straight for his interests He doesn’t show interest in many things, but he’s interested in what’s in Reki’s bentou, and from the way his eyes shone at the beach, he just goes straight for his interests. In BEEFs we see him get immersed in the tingling excitement of skating and so it can be dangerous too.

A Big Eater For lunch he had a big bag with a large bread and a liter of milk, and at the burger shop he eats a pile of burgers, so contrary to his appearance, he’s a big eater. Even at the ramen shop, if you look closely on the counter in front of him there’s multiple empty bowls that he’d finished piled up.

Director Utsumi Comment When we decided he’d be a former snowboarder, we decided his hair color and his personality not long after. Since he was designed as a set with Reki the balance was important, since Reki is a rough and tumble type, Langa is the pretty boy. I think he was probably the most difficult for the art staff to draw. If you’re off even by a little bit he doesn’t look like Langa, and so he gained the top ranking for the character with the  most revisions in the series (lol). Since he’s half Canadian, his bone structure is a bit thicker. Because he's a former athlete he's got quite a bit of muscle, so actually while he looks thin, he's tightly packed so he's heavy! It’s all thanks to the way that Chiba-san designed him and I’m so grateful! The other characters have more flashy clothing, so actually his simple clothing makes him stand out.

Character Designer Chiba Michinori Comment He’s the most delicate to draw because the smallest movement of hair changes his whole feel completely. That’s why at the beginning I would present my rough draft first and then clean it up but I remember getting told “something’s off”... Since his clothes are so simple there’s really no room for error and he really put my drawing skills to the test. While he just wears a simple shirt, you have to feel the quality of it and make it seem like it’s been ironed. If it looks wrinkled it’s out. By the way, director Utsumi said that “Langa can’t show skin” and so he wears long sleves. His eyes are blue with one highlight and and 1 layer of shadow, but in close ups Director Utsumi would add another color according to her own whims.

Colorist Gotou Yukari Comment His whole blue and while image being like snow was all Director Utsumi’s idea. I tried making his hair silver with a slight bluish tint but I had to think about how he would balance with Reki and so that’s how he ended up this color, and his skin Director Utsumi was really insistent on being surprisingly white. I was worried that when you glanced at him at him you’d think he looked sick, so I added a little bit of red in the shadows to make him look healthy. Since his eyes would be covered by his bangs I made them a turquoise blue so they would stand out between the gaps, and I really was focused on making his eyes pretty. Since Langa’s casual clothes are monotone, I had a hard time finding the right mix of white, blue grey, blue, navy blue and black every time. His “S” costume is also a simple a light grey shirt and a bright blue denim jean. The other character’s costumes are so unique and flashy so it was easy to differentiate them, and I think that his snow image is really emphasized against ADAM’s red color.

Sort of following the canon sk8. Keith is going to live in Canada and move to Texas with his mom after his dad passes away.

He struggles to make friends,,,,its Keith. But Lance is like "ohmygod new person!!!!!" And then the whole skate ordeal goes down where Keith fucking crushes Hunk.

While Hunk is "shadow" he is the same age as Lance and Keith and is Lance's best friends.

Adam and Shiro have that friendship where you know they're dating on the downlow.

Now hear me out; the two women that surround Joe in sk8 are Allura and Romelle. BUT Shiro is simply the protector of lesbians lol. They're both his besties and they have an affectionate platonic friendship (Allura and Romelle are dating obvs)

Now, Lotor being Adam is not going to be following who Adam is (y'know....a creep). He's just a spoiled rich kid that hates losing.

Obvs Keith and Lance are either kinda official or just mutually pining when Keith insists on doing the champion races. So they have their "break up" moment and after Keith wins the big race, first kiss.

Like he saw Langa's awed face and was thinking, "Yeah, I know that look, doesn't lead to anything but heartbreak."

That frame is one of my favourite shots. It belongs right in a “Sk8 No Context” video. In fact, that’s probably why it was included.

I see it as caution, and instead of seeing himself in Langa, he sees Adam*. There’s the “Blue Theory” that I’m yet to write out I full, only backed up by that after-credits scene with Kaoru/Kojiro in episode nine. And while what Kojiro and Kaoru say about the matter contradicts what I just said, perhaps Kaoru’s stance on Kojiro “overestimating Langa” wasn’t that to begin with.

*I can quite unfortunately see a whump fic somewhere about Reki breaking up with Langa, or something, and pushing him into becoming the “next Adam”, either alongside Adam himself or against Adam’s desires (now that he’s all “reformed” or whatever… spoiler alert: he really isn’t), though given the circumstances of such a fic being created I can imagine it’s alongside Adam. (Eve goes a bit crazy, for real.) It’s shipping. I don’t want to find out if such a fic exists unless the ship, if included at all, is depicted negatively and as a “grave mistake”, or something. So, I’m not looking.

I see it, with episode nine in correlation. Kaoru is studying Langa, and Reki, and seeing himself, Kojiro and Adam from when they were kids (with a few differences, of course). Reki in this situation is Kojiro and Kaoru, and Langa is Adam. Makes sense, right?

Well, there’s a few shifts that I think Kaoru has studied (as the “smart one” of the group, I’m sure) Langa and Reki as to assure his suspicions of the similarities, or a lack thereof.

In fact, when I’d first seen this ask a few days ago, I’d gotten the idea to make a Venn diagram of all the similarities I could remember without rewatching the show:

Incidentally, Langa’s exclusive qualities are also connected to Adam — but he’s not included here, for obvious reasons.

The immediate parallels in terms of “Renga vs. Matchablossom” would be Reki/Joe and Langa/Cherry. Though, outside of ship dynamics (I’d so badly wanted to put “bisexual” and “gay” in the diagram, but withheld my compulsions — though, I did allow myself the “Lovestruck Stare”, as that’s canon compliant enough, with Kojiro giving several to Cherry and Langa to Reki, breaking the “obvious parallels” immediately, giving Langa and Joe more leverage as counterparts over Langa and Cherry) the parallels, as I’d just mentioned in parentheses, are more complex.

TL;DR: I really need to write my Blue Theory out in full, but here is the “character parallels” in the main cast (which doesn’t play into the Adam/Langa parallels as much as the Blue Theory does, with some Cherry on the side, and maybe some Tadashi/Reki parallels to compare with how they nurtured their own foils with Adam/Langa respectively).

SK8 being Content Creators with videos/streaming 📱

I told @skate-loveagain about it, he liked idea and added some other ideas so the final result was even more fun. I hope you enjoy reading it! And if you wish feel free to add something or your own headcanon, I will try to be as faithful as possible to canon within the idea of all of them being content creators in some way and before/after the end of season 1. Let's start!

Reki: He makes videos/streaming of his skateboarding and often uploads short videos of his falls. Also, from time to time he shows live how makes the designs for his boards/his clothing where prints his designs or some of the boards people order at Dope Sketch, so customers and followers can see the process. He often records them together with Langa and people have a lot of fun seeing how passionate they are and the enthusiasm put into talking about what love, so they get more followers. When recording skateboarding with Langa, some of the falls are usually caused by a mysterious man named ADAM who comes down in a parachute, "nobody" in the networks knows who is but those falls have gone viral the times when that mysterious man appears, since Reki usually desists and as soon as he falls towards Langa with the words "Skate with me" Reki turns off the recording and everyone wonders what happens next. The mysterious man is shown in a suit that "looks" like a Matador, so people usually know him better by: Look, it's the Matador again. One of the times, he fell on top of Reki and people wondered what happened that day, no one knew if it was a miscalculation on the Matador's part or if it was because Langa moved away from the spot. ~What happened~ Reki: Langa, watch out!! Langa: It's ADAM again. *moves away doing skateboarding a little faster* ADAM: Langa-kun, skate with me… Reki: What?! *ADAM falls on top of Reki and the camera goes off*

Langa: He makes videos/streaming of him skateboarding usually with Reki, he recorded some of his progress with him when started learning to skateboard and their chemistry as master and apprentice captivated a lot of people. They also record their falls and publish them as short videos. As a few months go by, in several of those falls that he has recorded lately are because a guy known as ADAM appears falling on him while he kindly yells at him to "Langa-kun, skate with me", as I said on Reki, everyone on networks that don't go or have never gone to "S", call him the Matador. As for Langa, when ADAM shows up, he already acts "nonchalant" and takes it as a challenge not to fall off his board when ADAM hits the ground. while Reki keeps freaking out every time ADAM shows up. When ADAM "falls" on Langa the camera goes off so people don't know what's going on. Many have a theory that "the Matador" lands on his feet with the skateboard, others on the other hand say he can't be as cool as Langa, but no one knows the answer. Langa also makes videos trying different foods, especially hamburgers and obento (if it's homemade much better) although the latter he doesn't have so many opportunities much to his regret, and he shows live his reaction while eating. This started mainly by Reki, who in one of his videos kept recording while they were in a fast food restaurant, people were fascinated with Langa's genuine way of eating them. For the next video, Reki challenged people to say how many burgers they thought Langa could eat the next time they went, and that's how little by little companies started to invite Langa to try his food and promote their locations (those in the area) or their online stores and as Langa loves to eat, he didn't find any objection.

Miya: He makes videos/streaming of him doing tricks with his skateboard mostly when is at the sports hall. When he does them on the street often gawks at kittens or puppies nearby, so it ends up trending because more people come in to see how adorable he looks with them. Occasionally he also streams videogames he plays on his Switch, especially videogame he loves, always says that replaying videogames you are passionate about helps you find little new details you didn't see before. He often invites Reki and Langa to play the three of them together in those that can be played by more than one person, as well as sometimes adding Hiromi as well (though he always joins them as Shadow). When they record together after those live shows they usually publish the best videos that come out of it, respectively on their channels. His parents have made him aware of the importance of having so many followers on social networks so once or twice a month he takes advantage of the amount of followers he has to make them aware of the issues he cares about through his videos/streaming, mainly related to stray animals that don't have a home to live in.

Hiromi/Shadow: When is Hiromi he bases his videos/streaming on gardening tips specializing in flowers, how to take care of them, how to maintain them, etc… He also takes the opportunity to promote the store works at, the Churippu shop. His biggest fan base is made up of older people who use social networks and housewives who love to have flowers on their terraces. Many times he gets gifts from his followers, such as handmade sculptures, bracelets, even special aprons customized with adorable illustrations so he can change in each video. There are times when he forgets that is recording and starts talking about more personal topics (although fortunately he doesn't start talking like "Shadow"), thanks to this there are people who have identified with him and have asked him for advice in return. But he isn't very good at it, so sometimes has gotten into trouble unintentionally. When is Shadow he explains in videos/streaming how to win in any terrain with traps (although he uses other types of traps in skateboarding) against the heroes, being an anti-hero, either in the field of love, in the field of enmity or in whatever… although he never ends up making anything clear because doesn't want to reveal what his secrets are, so that no "hero" who is watching his videos can use it against him and win. Every time a follower replies to him, he returns it in a satirical or pedantic way, his followers already know him so every time they take it as a challenge to see who wins between them or Shadow.

Kojiro/Joe: As Kojiro has a channel where he shows how cooks live, especially when he tries new recipes (mainly Italian food) with his failures and successes, which makes a lot of people follow him, by not showing only his successes. Sometimes when it comes to short recipes, he also makes short videos, to make them more enjoyable, although most of his followers always tell him that they prefer to see him the most amount of time on screen, so if he makes more live than short videos they will "appreciate" the art of cooking much better. Most of his target are newly married women who are learning to cook to make delicious food for their husbands, although their husbands don't think that's the only reason. His fans shower him with gifts whenever they can and also go to visit him at Sia la Luce (where they know he works because one of his followers "found" the information by chance), there they ask him for autographs and the occasional photo. When his female followers are single college students who want to learn how to cook, Kojiro can't refuse to do two by two some very particular class… Although for the moment none of his female followers have revealed what the private cooking classes are like and if they're at the place where he records the videos or if it is at Sia la Luce. As Joe gives advice on how to get to have a good musculature and then how to maintain it, sometimes he's accompanied by two different ladies in each of the videos/streaming so he's the envy of many men who follow him and the desire of many women to become able to appear in them. Incredible as it may seem, although the content is aimed at a male audience (because of the subject of the amounts of food, muscle mass, weight, etc…), 90% of the target that he has in that channel is female. It's almost an open secret that Joe and Kojiro are the same person, but nobody says so.

Kaoru: He only does videos/streaming as Kaoru, as he feels that doing it as Cherry blossom would be too suspicious. In those videos/streaming he does live shodo but doesn't try to teach anything, just to show, since unless they're paid classes he only makes samples of what people can get to do if they sign up for his shodo classes, although in his channel explicitly writes that mainly he only accepts people over 18 years old. Questions or answers from followers who subscribe and/or pay are read by Carla, his own AI, at the end he always ends up simping too much for her and sometimes even lets her answer the questions, his followers already know him so they don't mind. Sometimes in the background of their videos/streaming it can hear the sound of someone cooking and talking, so in subfandoms of Kojiro's fans and Kaoru's fans they suspect they two live together. They make a lot of fanarts of them, some of which are sexual in nature, but Kaoru although it makes him a little uncomfortable doesn't mind, as he says that's the price of fame and earning more money. And besides, they may not be so wrong with the idea that they live together.

Ainosuke/ADAM: He makes videos/streaming mainly of politics and dance, specifically flamenco (mostly as taconeo) and pasodoble, since it's no mystery to his followers that he loves Spain. The political videos/streaming are mainly focused on promoting his campaign through the "channels" where young people are the most, always under the double supervision of him and his secretary, being videos quite prepared to not say or do anything that could compromise his work and that of his politics. His way of expressing himself and speaking makes the younger ones be captivated by his voice and his way of being and many have tried to give him presents that have never reached their hands. Although among all these young people there are many middle-aged women who have begun to use more social networks to see him live and fantasize about him. As for dancing he does it in videos and sometimes streaming. It started because in one of the videos he made to promote his campaign among younger people, his mobile vibrated, he saw the notification/message that came to him and he got so excited that he started heel dancing in front of the cameras saying: "This Saturday I have a date", more and more people entered the live to see what he was doing and more and more people began to follow and ask him if someday he could show more of his dancing skills, his aunts because of that event were very angry with him, because a situation like that would compromise his future as a politician and that of the whole family, but his colleagues saw how that streaming had a positive repercussion to the campaign and saw it as the perfect opportunity to show himself closer to the citizens. To this day people don't know what was the notification he received that day that made him so happy and playful, many are still trying to find out what that date was about, if it was about work or romantic, but no one has come to an accurate conclusion. When it comes to double dances he "forces" his secretary to dance with him, the skill of both of them is so extraordinary that they always end up trending, as it's the young politician Shindo and they're amazed by his dancing skill and synchrony he has with his secretary. As ADAM isn't a content creator, as Tadashi believes that doing so could at some point compromise his career if someone were to discover his true identity. For Ainosuke's part he says doesn't do it because otherwise ADAM would lose all charm he radiates when is in "S", with the mystery, terror and madness he shows in front of his audience and that eventually ADAM would cease to be interesting to everyone.

Tadashi: He makes gardening videos/streaming, especially in taking care of the Shindo family rose bushes, called by his followers as little Eden. Although he doesn't do many; may do one or two a month; he has gained a lot of followers thanks to Ainosuke's channel and being his secretary. Many of his followers have asked him to ever dance in that little Eden full of roses, as they have done in other places in Ainosuke's channel, but Tadashi ignores those answers and it's something they haven't done yet. When he's recording sometimes starts talking a lot about Ainosuke-sama (always with words that do not compromise their job), about his wonderful qualities, his perfect beauty and his relentless work as a politician, his followers already know him so they don't find it a bother to listen to him, they love to see him so happy. Tadashi sometimes makes videos together with Hiromi in private places where Hiromi records to boost the latter's followers; as Tadashi isn't interested in such things; but secretly he really likes the dedication Hiromi/Shadow puts into flowers he takes care of, so he believes Hiromi deserves to be known by more people who don't yet know about his channel, plus he does it as a thank you for the beautiful roses he always gives to his master. Tadashi only likes to focus on showing how he cares for the Shindo family rose bushes. The main reason why he doesn't post so many videos/streaming is because he doesn't like to be the center of attention as he always shows more of the rose bushes than himself, because a lot of his time is spent on his work as a secretary and as a servant of the Shindo family, on S as a capman, and on Ainosuke's channel.

Oka: He mainly makes videos/streaming for the sole purpose of promoting Dope Sketch. Since he has cute ladies coming to the store asking him for advice on how to get started in the skateboarding world, he sometimes goes on dates with them, but they never go further than that. When he does videos/streaming in the bedroom of his house, it can see several pots of flowers that appeared being cared for in Hiromi's videos/streaming. Some of ladies who have gone on dates with him speculate that this is why they never get a step further than a date, others say that he just really likes flowers and since the Churippu store is in the same area, Hiromi puts them up for sale and Oka buys them. Sometimes he makes videos/streaming with Reki and talks about how they work at Dope Sketch, as well as promoting that on Reki's channel people can see how special orders from the store's customers are made.

Kiriko: The videos she makes are about analysis. Although no one knows it, she started making them with the idea in mind of finding clues that would give away the misdeeds of the young Shindo politician. Her methods of finding information were so good for people who watched her videos that her channel ended up being quite successful and she gets so many followers. She can't post many, as has a full-time job as a police inspector, but in the moments she does those videos serve to clear her mind and get back to work. The way she talks in her videos is always without compromising her work and her discoveries when is in the line of duty, although that has made people think that the analysis she does is to analyze and discover infidelities or similar.

Sketchy: Sketchy obviously doesn't make videos, but Oka created an Instagram and TikTok account where he uploads photos and videos of Sketchy. He has gained a really high amount of followers, and they're very varied, from children to adults and seniors of all genders. Mostly successful are the videos where he bites Reki and/or Langa or almost anyone but Miya and Oka for whatever reason or no reason.

It's my first time doing something like this, so I probably left something out, but I had a lot of fun doing it. If I can think of any more characters or anything else about any of characters I¡ve already written about I'll add them in the future as UPDATE.

You and your boyfriend, Miya, were standing in a skate park with the sun setting in the sky, casting a calming golden light over the concrete. It was a school day, so most kids were at home, leaving the place empty for the two of you. You weren’t a skater like Miya, that was for sure- you didn’t know a thing about skating. But, you didn’t feel like staying behind anymore while he went off with his friends to skate somewhere. So now, here the two of you were- Miya with his usual board while you had a spare from Dope Sketch.

“Yeah, yeah, I’m sorry,” you apologized, tapping your foot anxiously on the ground with your arms folded across your chest. “I just need- I just need a minute.”

“It’s been, like, ten minutes,” Miya replied, arching a brow at you. “You were the one who asked to come, you know, and it’ll be dark soon.”

You sighed apprehensively, pursing your lips and staring into the space ahead of you, your board resting underneath your foot. Gathering your courage, you nodded resolutely. “Right. Let’s do this.”

Miya gave you a skeptical look.

“Okay, fine.” You threw your arms in the air in surrender. “I’m just not convinced I’m not going to faceplant and die. Or I won’t be able to stop and get hit by something and die. Or I’ll accidentally run into something and die-“

Miya , exasperated, raised his hands in the air. “Okay, okay, I get the picture- although all of those scenarios are really unlikely to happen. But seriously, you’ll be fine- I’m here to catch you if anything goes wrong.” He paused to look into your eyes, making sure you understood him. “We’re just going over the most basic of basics, ‘kay?”

You remained quiet for a while. “What if I embarrass myself and end up looking stupid?”

“Then I’ll laugh.”

“Miya!”

He smirked. “Kidding. Anyways, we’re starting now- I hope you’ve got your nerves together. Make sure your gear is on tight before we start- especially since you’re a beginner.”

You nodded, pushing your helmet down onto your head and adjusting your knee and elbow pads. “I’ve got it.”

Miya nodded as well before moving his skateboard out beside him. “Good. Okay, when you’re about to skate, there are two main positions people take…”

Since then, you’d been out to the skate park with Miya almost every day- sometimes practicing, sometimes just goofing off- and over the course of two weeks, you had the basics mastered. Then, after three months, you had an intermediate knowledge of skating. And finally, after six months of practice and studying six out of seven days a week, you were almost at the same level as Miya. Your fear of it had gradually disappeared- although you still tended to avoid overly extravagant tricks and high ramps. You still didn’t want to race in the “S.” But now you could tag along with your boyfriend and his friends whenever they went out to skate for fun, and on private dates with just you and Miya. And that was enough for you.

Edenshipping thoughts

Somehow I have a knack for always picking out the shippings that have a small fan base and are therefore hated to death. But the stupidest argument I've come across is, that Adam is a pedophile when he loves Langa. - lul what? People. Langa is 17 years old, not 7. From the age of 16 you can legally have sex with anyone you want. No matter what age. You're just not allowed to sell yourself for sexual services. And then the eternal discussion about who Adam's Eve is now. Langa or Tadachi. Adam wants a person who will join him in escaping reality to the point of death. In this case, neither of the two are suitable. But Langa is the person who a) was chosen by Adam to be Eve, b) who obviously understood (the most) how Adam feels and can reach him in his world. And even Tadachi sees it that way, otherwise he wouldn't have made sure that Adam skated against Langa. Then the discussion about whether Langa likes Adam or not. In any case, he seems to think he's an excellent skater and wants to compete against him, even though Reki doesn't want to. And the fact that he grimaces when Adam comes rushing towards him at 180 speeds... He probably wanted to eat his burger in peace. And Tadachi is just happy that Adam is doing well and is with friends again. Especially because Adam is quite energetic and Langa is a calm type of person. As an introvert, I sometimes get annoyed by my best friend when she fusses around me. But that doesn't mean I don't like her. But guess for who he has (again) a rosebouquet. - 100% for Langa. If it were a matter of distributing attention, then Langa would get the most from Adam. He even goes so far as to invite Reki to the tournament, only to beat him up in front of Langa's eyes. Even after the great reconciliation (?) with Tadachi, he visits Langa again and even brings him flowers. So he continues to only have eyes for Langa. This shipping is more than based and has its right to exist.

SK8 ~ Beginnings (March~May 2021)

Disclaimer: English and Japanese is not our native language, so it's possible that we have writed and/or translated some things incorrectly. 🙇💦

August is just around the corner and with it possible news of OVA and 2nd season of SK8 the Infinity, since 2021 we have written visual stories of all 8 characters through the sims, creating a kind of visual fanfics, if you want to be entertained while waiting for news, you can join us reading our publications and who knows, if you like it you can continue enjoying all of them from today infinitely into the future.

In order to get to the present day, every story has a beginning, so for those who are interested in knowing it and want to connect with our story, we will start from those beginnings with the dates written in the title up to the present to make it easier to know the order. Everything is gradually taking more shape and more personality until nowadays, so I hope you enjoy this journey. And without further ado, we leave it below the cut line.

(Mainly this post is about a summary of the beginnings of our SK8 the Infinity anime sims on Twitter, because at that time we still didn't explain a story and especially the first images didn't have much connection to each other. You don't need to know about anime to understand what happens in our sims story but you will understand the references that are in our story and when they talk about the past, if you have seen it. If you have problems with the skateboarding theme ask us for more information).

We'll start from the beginning, since we're two people, in Lea's Twitter we published (if Twitter is still up when you're reading this) the main story, some single images of our sims and illustrations of some events (unless the owner of that account goes crazy and decides to try something new to do, which personally we don't think is so bad) and on Van's Twitter we used to published (if Twitter is still up when you're reading this) the previews of the characters, WIPs and renders.

Now that we have some context, we will show you an image of the first character/sim we made in the CAS of SK8 the Inifinity, now two year and a half old, since the beginning of its creation! And of course it had to be Reki 🌺🛹 (Although Lea would have chosen it to be Ainosuke 😆)

Leaving aside the first character/sim that we created in CAS (in a sloppy way, because we didn't get into the creation yet, but just to have the bases of all of them), the first publication we made in Lea's Twitter was for Kaoru Sakurayashiki's birthday. It was kind of exciting because for the first time in a long time Van let himself go a bit further and tried to make Kaoru's hair from the ground up in Blender, the recolors of the yukata and geta and Kaoru's accessories (glasses and bracelet modified with objects from the game). So we could say that, Kaoru was the first SK8 the Infinity sim with full Custom Content from us! (The first of SK8 the Infinity because Van already made from the base, clothes, hair and accessories from other character of other series).

After the photo of Kaoru's birthday and do some more gameplay with the guys. P.S of image: The lady with glasses and green hair behind Miya's text was the alpha version of Ainosuke's aunt B (you can know more about her in the next posts that will deal with the different SK8 families in our sims and how they look) and the lady walking very much in the background is another one of his aunts (C), also in very alpha version. Yes, they also came to his birthday party from our sims world, they're very loving 😅 But it was quite an awkward day for Ainosuke, all must be said. At least when we talk about the official celebration, here we don't count the one they had in private or the one Ainosuke celebrated in S. This one was more about a birthday as a political figure than spending it among friends. On the other side of things, everyone in the party outfits, they're wearing different kinds of clothes so that they can change at their pleasure, one of cosplay included. And Miya that day wanted to come in the costume of Noctis Lucis Caelum, apparently he wanted to go unnoticed. 😆 (joke)

And this is the end of the first part of the beginnings, the first images without much history that were published in Lea's account.
