the conjuring au?????? TELL ME MORE PLEASE 💜

of course evie❣️❣️ y/n and namjoon are just like ed and lorraine warren from the conjuring movies. they travel around the world and exorcise evil demons and ghosts. the conjuring is one of my favorite horror franchises and horror is my favorite movie genre. the plan is october for posting this one! i don't have much of anything written, but here's the summary (which is still a wip itself too!)

You and Namjoon have worked hard to become expert paranormal hunters/influencers. You’ve successfully investigated and exorcised a number of demons and ghosts all over the world. Skeptics and haters be damned, your followers believe in you enough to keep you confident and going; that’s why when you get a call about a family with a teenage daughter experiencing traumatizing hauntings, the two of you don’t think twice about going to help.

It isn’t until you get there do you realize that you and Namjoon may be in over your heads when you come face to face with a powerful yet oddly familiar evil. It’s going to take more effort than you ever thought you’d need to get rid of this sinister force before it destroys everyone in its sight, including you and everyone you care about.

Let’s eat.” Or he’s going to wink at Yoongi and send suggestive eyebrow raises the whole night. Great. Fabulous. (Or: Yoongi loves Taehyung and Taehyung loves Yoongi and somewhere along the way they figure that out.)

You find yourself seething, staring at the empty containers of coffee littering your counters. If someone had told you you would have ended up babysitting an infernal being of darkness instead of taking your place as his high priestess, presiding over black masses and archaic rituals of doom…well…then maybe you would have used all the money you sunk into summoning him into doing something else.

Like buying a timeshare in the mountains…or maybe burning down the United States Supreme Court. Well – you suppose nothing is stopping you from the second one. 

“Darling Puny Human~” Hoseok sing-songs, appearing out of a dark portal in your kitchen. “Shall we go out for another adventure? I have been looking at the information in the box of Google – and there is a place where I can grind my own coffee beans.” 

And for some reason, this is the last straw. 

“I committed several murders! Several! To summon you to this mortal plane, yet you don’t want to destroy it?” You slam your hands on the counter. “Why are you not unloading your fury upon the land? Master Hoseok, why do you forsake your cause?” 

“That’s what everyone expects me to do, but no one has ever asked me what I wanted!” the man answers. The flair of emotions makes his tentacles puff, a splatter of black ink on the back wall. It drips like blood, and leaves behind indecipherable messages that will surely haunt your nightmares. 

Great now you won’t be getting your deposit back. 

“You – you do not WISH to unleash your righteous fury upon the land? To bring the four horsemen down to earth? To relish the destruction that you have earned??”

“No! Do you know how much work that is?” Hoseok whines. “And I have no desire for it; if I wanted to follow in the footsteps of my family, I would. What I want to do…well…I want to dance!”

“Dance?” you deadpan, clutching the countertops in fury. “You want to dance?”

“Dance!” And the room goes dark, a spotlight falling on him. In an instant you’re sitting in a crowded auditorium, surrounded by tentacled monsters and many eyed angels. All there to watch. 

“Now you sound JUST like my mother.” It’s an accusation, even as one particular demon begins to play…is that a ragtime song? 

“I want you to live to your fullest potential –”

“Potential?” 

The light falls on him, and fuck, is he wearing a top hat?

“Do I have potential? Why can’t I have it all?” He IS in a top hat, and he has a little dancing cane…so do his tentacles, as he begins to tap dance, matching the tune of the piano. “Can’t I destroy humanity, and still have time for me?” 

“Is – are you asking a real question? Or is this a part of the musical number?” 

“I wanna dance

Wanna fill the wind in my hair 

I wanna dance

Don’t you think it’s fair?

Eternal torment 

Am I just some kind of a doormat

Why can’t you see

That I just wanna be free”

“You aren’t using the same rhyme scheme” He’s sweeping you up, tapping out his tune as he ballroom dances with you. 

“Rending people limb from limb

Sure that’s exciting 

So is drinking blood full to the brim

But dance makes my heart sing

Eating human flesh 

Gives me indigestion.” He dips you – well, a tentacle does. Holding you still. 

“But hitting the dance floor

Now that’s the one – I mean – right direction.” 

“Seriously?”

“What can I say, I like Harry Styles.” And he’s spinning you away, a top hat half falling over your face, and a cane in your hands. You grit your teeth. Do you dare deny your master? Or –

“I get it, I get it – you wanna dance and not destroy the world,” you groan, but before you launch into an impromptu dance, you’re back in your kitchen. The cane that was in your hand now a wiggling eel. “Fuck –!”

“Good.” He grins brightly, snatching the eel from your grasp and – and somehow sliding it down his throat in one move. “I’m glad we had this chat Human, I feel we are on the same parchment.” 

“It’s – it’s the same page.”

“Tomato, potato,” he shrugs, skipping off into the den.

last series: oh gosh.. i can’t remember.. probably extraordinary attorney woo! which if you haven’t watched, you need to check it out! i’m rarely ever able to finish watching a series these days, but i finished this one pretty quickly because i just loved all the characters so much! 🥰

last movie: 🤦‍♀️ ... movies are even more rare.. umm... honestly? it was probably either the twilight series, hunger games, or harry potter.. they are my comfort movies

OMG thanks so much! Here's a few lines from Under the Ice.

Pairing: Yoongi x F! reader

Rating: 18+

Summary: You and your partner Jimin are part of an emergency evacuation on the Hope base in Antarctica. A crack team is drafted in to help. The only problem? It includes your ex-husband Min Yoongi.

Jimin waves you in before him, shielding you with his own body from the blistering wind. His hand lands on the back of your red parka, steadying you as he comes in behind you and pulls the door shut. 

You collapse in the entryway, gasping, acclimatising to being away from the slicing cold outside. 

Jimin looks over at you. 

‘You have a cut,’ he says, gesturing vaguely with his hand. 

You wince as you sit up and pull your beanie and goggles off. The folded up brim is soaked with blood, but it’s the least of your worries. 

‘Another day, maybe two, and we’ll be in,’ you say. 

Jimin nods. 

He looks as exhausted as you feel. 

Footsteps approach. 

It’s Yoongi, still in his reflective jacket. Yoongi and Jin must have arrived back at base not long before you. 

He stares at you. ‘What the hell happened?’ 

‘Well hello to you too, always a pleasure, Mr Min,’ you say, unable to resist. 

He ignores you and steps forward. ‘You might need stitches. Come on, let me take a look.’ 

‘It’s fine,’ you say. 

Jimin, from the floor, says, ‘Let him take a look, Y/N.’ 

In moments you find yourself in the medical room, sitting on the flat couch they use for consults as Yoongi cleans your forehead. 

You haven’t been this close to him in a long time. His hands are warm, one palm cupping your jaw, the other dabbing at your forehead wound. 

When he speaks, he’s still so close you can feel his breath on your cheek. 

‘It’s deep, but straight. I can put a couple stitches in, help minimise the scarring.’ 

‘I don’t know if I can trust you coming at me with a sharp object,’ you mutter. 

Yoongi’s lips, right in front of your face, twitch a little.

‘I’ve been told I’m pretty good with my hands.’ 

Your eyes meet. You’re pretty sure you’re the one who told him that.

‘Do your worst, Min,’ you say, lightly. 

His lips twitch again. 

‘Lie down, will you. And stop staring at my lips.’ 

You lay back and close your eyes. ‘There you are again, always assuming I’m staring at you.’ 

Yoongi sounds like he’s smiling now, but you don’t want to open your eyes in case he accuses you of staring at him again. 

He hums a little whilst he works on you. His deep voice is even more compelling with your eyes closed. 

There’s a bit of stinging, but he’s so gentle you barely feel anything. 

You’re so relaxed you’re half asleep when he finally says, ‘Done.’ 

His thumb brushes over your cheek. 

When you open your eyes he’s still leaning over you. 

‘Hey,’ he says. 

‘Hey,’ you reply. ‘Did you make me pretty again?’ 

He’s still close, not turning away as he replies, ‘you know what you look like.’ 

‘Like what?’ you ask, persistent. 

‘You look like fucking trouble,’ Yoongi says. ‘You always have.’

2022 End of the Year Recap

5 works I'm proud of:

Gonna cheat a bit and put my 12 Lays of Kinkmas fics as one choice - I'm pretty proud that I managed to bang out 28K in less than a month and ended up with 12 different fics

Versus: It's by far my least popular series on tumblr but it's the one that is closest to my heart - my love letter to comic books and supervillain stories 💜

And They Were Roommates!: I branched out more into mxm this year. I really love the dynamic here between Joon and Jimin.

Sorry I Motorboated You: It's sheer nonsense. I'm glad everyone got a kick out of it.

Covert Affairs: Still super proud of this one, how it just flowed out of me so quickly, unfolding like a movie in my mind. Made me realize just how much I love writing action scenes!

Down and Out: part of the Room for Rent collab. Boxer!Jimin is going to be angsty af, y'all. Also features a supremely devilish JK.

Untitled YoonJin fic: part of a yet-to-be announced collab. Basic plot is E2L warlock Yoongi vs vampire Jin.

Untitled Stoner!Hobi fic: can't stop won't stop with this agenda

Untitled Yoongi fic: I really don't want to give too much away about this one, but I'm planning a possible new series (haven't decide if it will be a big oneshot or series) that I'm going to start writing after I finish my current series… all I'll say is the idea was sparked by Everything Everywhere All At Once

3 biggest improvements:

I'm terrible at questions like these. I don't think my writing has gotten any better - but I don't think it's gone downhill either? I think it's fine. But I guess if I must:

Focusing less on perfection - I don't spend as much time fretting over what I've written now, I just kinda write it and throw it out there. Either people will like it or not. I'm trying not to spend hours rereading a piece, looking for ways to improve it, but it's a hard habit to break.

Letting myself get sillier if the fic calls for it

Incorporating new genres/kinks into my fics

Top 2 resolutions:

Stop letting note counts get to me (an eternal resolution)

Stop comparing myself to other writers (another eternal one)

Number 1 line written this year:

“Oh, Jesus!” 

“No,” Jungkook says, thrusting again, and again, faster and faster, “Jungkook.” 

That's a dumb throwaway line from Joyride that makes me laugh so much. Like 75% of my writing is just that - dumb jokes I've written solely to crack myself up. 🤣
