👁️ 🤥 😭 😨 🍓 and 💐 for Tipha!
👁️ EYE - what colour are their eyes? do people notice their eyes? is there anything special about them (shows emotion easily, literally magical…)?
Tipha has brown eyes with reddish undertones! They’re pretty similar in color to Hilbert’s, who inherited his eyes from his father (though with how his mother never talked about the man, it’s not like he’d know that). I don’t think people usually notice her eyes as standing out for their appearance, but she does have a mean glare and people definitely notice that. Tipha has the type of eyes you can feel looking at you even if you can’t see them. Because of her dragon heritage, she has preternatural night vision and so her eyes reflect light off of them in the dark, which is definitely spooky for most people who don’t expect it. Otherwise, they don’t glow or anything like that even when she’s using magic (which she rarely does anyways).
🤥 LYING - are they good liars? do they have tells to show they’re lying?
Tipha is a horrible liar. She can bs her way through half truths and misdirection easily enough, but when it comes to outright lying she’s very obvious about it, the most obvious tell being that the only time she fidgets is when lying. She avoids it whenever she can since she finds lying morally objectionable, so when she does lie it literally makes her squirm.
😭 CRYING - what makes them cry? do they cry easily?
Tipha doesn’t cry easily and when she does, it’s usually restrained to silent tears and heavy breathing rather than full on sobs. She usually cries most easily when extremely angry or frustrated, but this was mostly when she was a child. Things like homework or being treated unfairly by Euphie or her peers that worked her up would often result in tears accompanied by raising her voice and escalating instability (and when she was even younger, a full on tantrum). Once she’s a teenager, she tries to avoid getting to that point or furiously holding back tears when she feels them building since she finds it childish and embarrassing for her to cry out of anger. Of course, this also makes her temper a bit scarier, since anger without tears implies more fury than the frustration she showed with angry tears. (She is also not immune to crying from reading sad moments in books, though she denies this.)
😨 FEARFUL - when scared, do they go into “flight” or “fight”?
Instant “fight”. Hands down. Tipha is a “throw a punch first, apologize later” when caught off guard type of person. She wants to go down fighting if it comes to it, especially if it means protecting others. But this instinct comes at the cost of her own self-preservation a lot of the time. She’ll push aside all of her fear to act in dangerous situations, but can sometimes make things worse in the process, especially since she’s usually not thinking straight when cornered and simply reacting. (In that sense, she and Gavin are very similar, I’m picturing that meme of the person trying to block a bullet for another, but then the other person wraps around them to block instead and it just keeps going like that haha).
🍓 STRAWBERRY - do they eat their fruit & veg? what is their favourite fruit or vegetable?
Tipha comes from a mostly vegetarian family, so she loves her fruit and veg! It’s also very important for her to eat healthily to keep up with her exercise regime, so she takes her diet very seriously, planning out her meals to be all balanced. She has a preference for crunchy fruits and vegetables, with strong flavors finding them satisfying to eat - her favorite fruits are melons and melon-like berries (especially Spelon berries!), and her favorite vegetables are radishes!
💐 BOUQUET - create a bouquet for them! what do those flowers mean? are any of the flowers their particular favourite?
Chamomile for energy in adversity.
Laurel for ambition and renown. (Her favorite!)
Goldenrod for encouragement.
Gorse for anger.

It’s not abnormal for Shauna to be nervous (Serena remembers the fiasco with Lysandre all too well and her own fear all too well), but it’s also not... quite right. She’s quieter, almost hesitant to speak, like she doesn’t trust what could happen. Like she doesn’t trust Serena.

How they first met: It was a long time ago when they were first accepted to join the Hoenn League. Wallace saw Steven and immediately wanted to be friends with him. Steven was taken aback by Wallace’s personality and it took him a while to get used to it. They became really fast friends afterwards.
Where their first date was: They’ve had a lot of friend dates over the years of their friendships, so they pretty much went all over. They’ve seen it all. However, their first official date as romantic partners was super sweet. They had taken a nice long vacation down in Alola to get away from responsibilities and just relax. They’ve been there before pre-relationship, so they’ve pretty much done everything. But this time was so new, so different because they’re romantic partners now.
When they had their first kiss: It was definitely pre-relationship, like definitely in their early 20s. Wallace and Steven had just come back from an event. Steven was tired but Wallace was still full of energy. They were just chatting and honestly one thing led to another, they were smoochin’. For Wallace, it was any other thing. He was used to smooching his friends so he didn’t mind or care. Steven was a bit more conservative with his affections, so it was very awkward for him and he honestly stayed up very late trying to figure out why they were making out. He still doesn’t know why till this day.
Who cooks: They both share the task! Neither are fantastic at it, but they aren’t shit at it. They could probably beat out any PTA mom’s tuna casserole that’s for sure.
Who proposed: Wallace and Steven both talked about marriage and proposal that they ended up turning it into a game of “who can propose first”. Unfortunately, Steven lost that game. Wallace proposed to Steven in a very Wallace-extravagant way. And with rocks. Lots, and lots of rocks. Steven was crying and hugging the rocks while smoochin’ his man.
The dominant one: Both. Although Wallace is vers if we’re implying this in… Other ways… Heh.
Their favorite pass time together: They just love spending time with each other, no matter what they’re doing. If they’re in the same room and are both working on two drastically different things just makes them both feel so genuinely happy. They don’t need to go out of their way to always do gushy couple-y stuff 24/7. They’re content just being in the same ROOM as each other.
Who kissed who first: Wallace definitely kissed first (see previous kiss question).
Who is the flirt: Wallace 9000% is the biggest flirt. He likes to amp up his flirtations just to see Steven’s face turn bright red. Wallace thinks it’s super adorable when that happens and just makes him want to smooch Steven even more lol.
Who is the romantic: Wallace out-romantic the romantic of romantics if that even makes sense
Who wakes up first: Steven wakes up first. He tends to wake up super early in the day (usually before dawn or JUST about day break) and prepares a lot of stuff. He makes coffee for Wallace, he makes breakfast, he does a bit of cleaning, checks out his rock collection, feed their Pokemon, etc. Wallace tries to pay Steven back by doing all those, but he can never wake up that early no matter how many alarms he sets.
Who comforts who the most: They’re both pretty much on par with comforting whom. Though maybe Steven a little more since he intuitively knows how Wallace thinks and makes sure that he’s presenting the comfort in a way that fits who Wallace is as a person to ensure that nothing bad happens by accident.
The cuddler: Wallace is a huge cuddler. He loves cuddles.
The big spoon: Steven!

15. Is there a certain person in this world that they cannot stand? The very mention of this person’s name makes them tremble with anger or fear.The closest person who would fit this description would be his father. In general, if he has a person he can’t stand, he’ll either avoid them entirely or come up with some way to permanently dispose of them. Which one he chooses to do depends on how much of a problem getting rid of that person would be vs. the ease of avoidance. The issue with his father is he’s both someone he can’t completely avoid and someone he can’t dispose of either. He’s stuck in a situation of having to “play nice” when they do interact, but his dislike often slips through.
He doesn’t like how his father was never around but acts like he knows him so well, talking about how he’s his pride and joy and playing it up like he’s a good father. Even Darcel isn’t entirely sure why this bothers him, since coming from anyone else, he’d like that he can trick someone into thinking he’s an ideal son. And he should like that he was rarely around, since it made it easier to get away with things since he was only going behind one parent’s back. The most he can reason out is it has something to do with when he compares his parents, his father comes across as weak and pathetic for not seeing the obvious truth in front of him. If his mother has some inking of his “true self,” whatever that is, than his father should as well. He mostly just doesn’t like to think about why he dislikes him, since it means giving his father more thought than he deserves.
31. Would your character be the kind capable of killing? Would they enjoy killing or only use it when necessary or, perhaps, refuse to kill no matter what?He’s 100% the kind of person capable of killing and has in the past, although since he mostly “plays around” with people for his own entertainment, killing a person is low on his list of ways to interact with others. He’d much rather trick someone else into killing someone or get someone to do any dirty work for him, but if confronted with a situation where killing someone will lead to the best outcome for him, he’ll do it. He doesn’t inherently enjoy the act of killing, it’s the circumstances around the event he enjoys. The after effects it will cause, seeing how other people react to the death. Or if he’s tricking someone into it, the rush he gets from successfully manipulating a situation to his liking. Even if he’s killing someone himself, it’s the excitement of plans going his way, the fact that he’s “winning,” that he enjoys.
That being said, he finds other people much more entertaining when they’re alive, so really, people he wants dead are trash he wants absolutely nothing to do with. A means to an end. This has the effect of him leaving people he “likes” alive simply because he finds them entertaining, even if they end up being a hindrance to his plans. His overall goal is to stay entertained after all, so if he has to work harder to get what he wants, than that’s just part of the game. If the person ultimately proves to be too much of a hindrance and he can’t see any way to achieve his goals and still keep the person alive, then he will kill them. But in that case, he’s “remorseful” that he couldn’t find a way around it. An unfortunate, but necessary, sacrifice. The ultimate sign of affection from him would be someone he’d be willing to “lose” for. Someone he would keep alive even though his plans/goals would fail as a result.

Does your character have a switch that changes aspects of their personality whether they are around friends, family, etc. Is there someone who gets to see their true self?One of Darcel’s problems is that, from even his own perspective, he has no “true self.” He puts on a different personality, a “mask,” based both on who he’s interacting with as well as how he’s wanting events to play out. Always putting on an act, sometimes even just for himself. He tends to come across as overly eccentric as a result, because he’ll flip personalities without any obvious reason for it. If someone gets to see his “true self,” what that actually means is he’s not putting on one set act for them all the time. It’s someone he’s willing to show that he puts on different personalities based on the situation. Someone he allows to see his changing masks.
Of his immediate companions, Riviera is the closest to fitting this description. They’re together so often, that she inevitably sees how he changes his personality so often. Another person is @pokemon-legends-and-legacies‘s Hymnia, which is why we have discussed how they’d be a good True End couple. They both are the type who just put on an act as their main personality, so there would be an easy camaraderie. Someone who wouldn’t be bothered by the changing masks and play right along with them.
44. Is there a particular event that would emotionally devastate your character?It’s difficult to emotionally devastate someone who doesn’t feel a whole lot of emotions to begin with. You could physically devastate him (blind him, cut off his tongue, dismember his limbs) which would likely emotionally devastate him if it was extreme enough he wouldn’t think he could recover from it, but since that would devastate anyone, it’s not a fair answer.
It would be the rare event that would truly emotionally devastate him. He tends to bounce back from most things. Even if everyone he “liked” were to be killed, it’d be more likely for him to be upset at first (cause all his entertainment is gone), but then decide he’s going to get revenge for everyone (mainly to have something to do) while also searching for new interesting people. Maybe though, years down the line in the True End where he’s married to Hymnia and the two have a son together, maybe them dying would be the event that would push him close. He’s built so much of his life around those two at that point, people he’d be willing to “lose” for, that he’d be lost if something happened to them. Where does he go from there? I can see him, after getting revenge, just world hopping. Looking for some version of the two of them to be with. It might not be his Hymnia and Eleuther, but some version of them is better than no version. As he’s unlikely to react this way to losing anyone else, for him, losing them would be whatever his equivalent of being emotionally devastated would be.
45. Is your character the kind to hide their true emotions or do they wear their heart on their sleeve?His problem is he doesn’t feel enough. A mostly hollow, empty person. While he has emotions, they’re generally fleeting. He can feel excitement, anger, frustration, etc. based on the current situation, but a lot of the time, he just doesn’t feel anything. Especially when nothing is going on. So he’s definitely the type to hide his true feelings, because he’s generally putting on an act of feeling more than he does. When he does feel things, he usually won’t hide it, but will often play up the severity of his feelings. Since again, he’s pretending to feel more than he actually does.

5. What is their height/weight? She’s 5′3″ and weights 126 lbs!
10.How are they with animals/non-humans?Since this is the Pokemon universe, I’ll answer in terms of that! Veronica gets along with all kinds of Pokemon, especially those owned by her family. She’s especially fond of her father’s Pokemon, since they’re all quite the characters!
15. What do they dislike?As of right now, Veronica highly dislikes sour foods and being wrong about something. She has a huge sweet tooth, and anything that’s sour just doesn’t agree with her. She dislikes being wrong because she has trouble admitting it when she is, and it makes her feel pretty awful.
20. What are their eating habits/favorite foods?Veronica has quite the appetite, which she gets from Ash lol. She absolutely loves macaroons, especially those made by her mother, Serena!
25. What is something(s) they enjoy doing with one or both parents?With Ash, Veronica loves playing with his Pokemon and hearing stories about his travels when he was younger. With Serena, she loves to bake all kinds of things and binge-watch TV shows together!
30. Do they have any siblings?Yup! She has two younger siblings; her sister Sarah, and her brother Leo!
35. Who do they look up to most?Veronica definitely looks up to both of her parents; Ash for his positive attitude and boundless energy, and Serena for her kindness and self-confidence. She also looks up to her mentor Virgil, who is currently training her to become a certified Rescue Ranger in Unova!
40. What’s a bad memory that they have?The only bad memory Veronica has right now is when she had a sneezing fit so bad that she passed out. She ended up in the hospital with a concussion and needing a few stitches for a cut on her forehead (which is hidden by her bangs). She’s very embarrassed by that and gets flustered and upset if anyone tries to bring it up.
45. What are they like at parties?Veronica is great fun at parties! Her rather reckless nature makes her prone to taking on dares or just doing rather dangerous stunts, however xD
50. Do they prefer to preserve memories (pictures, blogging, journals, etc.) or live in the moment?I think Veronica is more someone who likes to live in the moment. That being said, she doesn’t mind if someone wanted to take pictures with her!

Enzian for 1, 6, 13, 17, 18, 19, and 20 if it's not too much!
1) Holiday HeadcanonGrowing up in Malie City and with a Kantonian mother, the Gärtner siblings celebrate a lot of traditional festivals. Enzian’s favorite is the Bon Festival, especially setting afloat the lanterns at the end. Enzian is particularly close with spirits, even for a dark mage, so this festival is a particularly poignant one for him. He always makes sure to visit a few spirits who have no family to greet them and make sure they’re acknowledged.
6) Hugging headcanonEnzian loves giving hugs! He especially likes to run up to someone and surprise them with a hug from behind. This is especially effective when he’s younger, since he’s at the perfect height to wrap his arms around (usually) his parent’s or sister’s waist. Primrose is rather easily startled though and doesn’t appreciate the gesture as her brother intends it. Of course, Enzian also does this just to surprise/scare her. Selene will usually spin around and give him a huge hug in return, while Gladion will ruffle his hair.
13) Nickname headcanonEnzian has the nickname ‘Zian’ or ‘Zizi’ from his childhood, but only his parents call him that (sometimes in public to embarrass him). Other than that, he really doesn’t go by any nickname. He also is not really the type to give other’s nicknames, but will call them anything they wish to be called.
17) Soft spot headcanonEnzian is a real sucker for sad pokemon, even those that are faking it. It’s how he met his Mimikyu partner, Lona. She’s a rather spoiled spirit and wanted to find a human who would give her lots of treats and cuddles without her having to work for it. All it took for her to win Enzian over was a forlorn look and a few sad cries. Later on, Enzian ends up adopting quite a few pokemon that most people agree are very spoiled.
18) Favorite possession headcanonEnzian’s favorite possession is a necklace Gladion got him for his 8th birthday. It’s a turquoise and silver pendant shaped like the sun. He loves it for numerous reasons: it’s a gift from his father, it ties into his traditional name, which is written as 'rising sun’, the color reminds him of the ocean he loves so much, and he believes it is his most lucky charm. He wears the necklace always, even to sleep.
19) Favorite photograph headcanonEnzian’s favorite photograph is the one of the Totem Mimikyu Selene took during her island trial. He has a copy of it in his room. The idea of a giant, powerful Mimikyu is very exciting to him and he has explored the abandoned megamart many times trying to find it. He was a bit sad when his cousin, Kou, who is the trial captain for that site told him the Totem Pokemon wouldn’t come out unless one was on their trial, but now he uses the picture as inspiration for when he is finally old enough to take his own Island Trial.
20) Relationship headcanonOut of his immediate family, Enzian is closest with his mother. This is a fairly natural result, as they are the dark mages in the family as opposed to Gladion and Primrose who have the opposite element. Enzian loves spending time with Selene and her pokemon team and hearing about her adventures. He always imagines what it would be like meeting a legendary or travelling to another world and Selene is always happy to fuel his boundless curiosity. The two of them are both outgoing and positive people, so they get along very well and don’t get into conflict very often.

Kalosshipping?
How they first met: They first met when Serena first moved to Vaniville. Calem was living next door, so he and Shauna decided to head over and greet their new neighbors, especially when they heard there was a girl their age in the family.Where their first date was: The two had their first date about six or so years after Team Flare was defeated. It was fairly simple and low-key. They got crepes at a food stand in a park in Lumiose and spent the afternoon wandering around, enjoying the nice weather and each other’s company. It was just the kind of relaxing date the two of them wanted.When they had their first kiss: The two had their first kiss after about a month of dating. It was actually a bit of an incident. After having a nice dinner out, Calem and Serena were sitting on a bench overlooking the canal in Lumiose when both tried to lean in for a kiss at the same time. As a result, since neither was expecting the other to go for a kiss, they ended up smacking their foreheads together and getting quite the nasty bump. Though it definitely hurt, both realized what the other was going for, so they snuck in a quick peck on the lips before running back to Sycamore’s lab to get some ice for their foreheads (the Professor still likes to tease them about that story.)Who cooks: Calem usually cooks! He’s quite the skilled pastry chef (which the kids adore) but he’s good at making meals as well. He loves cooking and gladly will cook for his wife and family, as well as any friends who are over, since Shauna, Tierno, Trevor, and Emma and their families often visit. Serena’s an okay cook, but Calem tends to dominate the kitchen and she’s quite happy to leave the cooking to him, since he can be fussy when anything in ‘his workspace’ is disturbed or out of place.Who proposed: Calem proposed to Serena on the opening night of the café the two co-own and run - Café Fleur-de-Lis. The opening night also happened to be Serena’s birthday, and being proposed to by the love of her life was definitely the best birthday present she could have gotten. (Shauna had to help Calem prepare himself for the even for weeks he was so nervous! It was so hard for her to keep the proposal a secret from Serena, but it was all worth it in the end to see her two best friends so happy.)The dominate one: Serena, usually. Calem tends to get nervous when it comes to taking control, unless he’s completely comfortable and confident in himself, so he often prefers when Serena takes the reigns since he trusts his wife completely and knows she’ll make him happy. That being said, if he’s in the mood, Calem can be quite dominant himself, and Serena certainly doesn’t mind them turning the tables once in a while.Their favorite pastime together: While managing the café is fun and a rewarding job, Serena and Calem love pokémon battling as a hobby. A fun date or pastime for them is to head over to the Battle Chateau and team up for a few multi-battles against any opponents. The two have both attained the title of Grand Duchess/Duke, so they’re quite famous among those who frequent the spot. Other times, Serena and Calem will have battles against each other, since their rivalry from their journey hasn’t fully died out. Unlike then, however, Calem has won just about half of their battles and the two sometimes place bets on who will edge ahead with more wins - loser has to do the dishes for a week.Who kissed who first: They kissed each other at the same time!Who is the flirt: Serena for sure. She’s not overly flirty, but she’s far more comfortable than Calem is with flirting in public. He tends to get embarrassed doing that sort of thing due to his social anxiety, but if he finds the right moment he’s quite good at sliding in with a ‘straight-to-the-heart’ flirtatious comment that will leave Serena blushing.Who is the romantic: They’re both about equally romantic, though again, Serena is more comfortable being romantic in public. The two can be quite cheesy though, saying mushy things to each other, writing each other cute little post-it notes they leave around the house, going on picnics in the park just the two of them. The kids (and to a lesser degree their friends) often jokingly complain about how ‘sickeningly adorable’ they are - acting like a couple of love-struck teens despite being married for over fifteen years.Who wakes up first: Calem tends to be an early riser, simply because he tends not to sleep well, often having nightmares and fitful sleep. As such, he often finds himself waking up in the early morning hours and not able to go back to sleep. He doesn’t like to wake up Serena when this happens, so he’ll make a cup of coffee and sit on the balcony and watch the sunrise, perhaps reading a book or listening to music with headphones. Sometimes Serena will also wake up early and join him, especially since she’s gotten good at noticing when he’s up early and waking when that happens. They like to spend the mornings together quietly, just enjoying the view over the city and each other’s company.Who comforts who the most: Serena tends to comfort Calem more, since he is prone to having difficulties due to his anxiety and depression. She tries her best to find the best ways to help him whenever somethings upsetting or bothering him, whether it’s just being there with him or talking him through it. All the same, Calem does his best to be there whenever Serena needs comforting, since it’s only fair. He appreciates to no end how supportive she is, so he wants to be able to do the same for her.The cuddler: Calem. He finds physical touch with people very grounding and loves being able to cuddle up with Serena, especially when they’re indoors together during some bad weather. Just curling up together under a blanket with a hot drink and a lighthearted movie is one of his all-time favorite things.The big spoon: Serena, usually. Calem likes being hugged and held, so Serena often sleeps with him in her arms. It’s another one of those things that, according to their friends and family, falls under the ‘disgustingly adorable’ category of their interactions.

How they first met: They first met during that whole Team Plasma fiasco. It was a history that N hated--purely because he involved himself in such a horrible organization lead by a horrible, horrible man. Hilda, upon looking back at their first meeting, was glad they met like that. Because it showed the growth of N’s character and Hilda loved the man N had become.
Where their first date was: The theme park in Nimbasa city, specifically the ferris wheel where N and Hilda first had a heart-to-heart many years ago!
When they had their first kiss: About partway through their date (they’ve been together for 7 months at this point), Hilda took N’s hands and looked into his eyes. N was super frickin’ red and was like “????????”. Hilda smiles, goes on her tippy toes and smooches N at the corner of his mouth, so not like full lip-to-lip contact ya know? It’s just barely there. But it was enough to cause N to get like, a nosebleed as weird as that sounds. N reassures Hilda that he’s okay but Hilda just takes N to a nearby bench and have him rest. It was super embarrassing for N but Hilda thought it was sweet.
Who cooks: N cooks most meals for him and Hilda!
Who proposed: Hilda proposed first! And N fainted when she did! :D
The dominant one: Lmao Hilda is 100% the more dominant one in the relationship. N is a Sof
Their favorite pass time together: They spend a lot of time rescuing and sheltering abandoned Pokemon together. It was N’s idea at first and Hilda supported him 110%. It really showed Hilda more reasons to love N.
Who kissed who first: Hilda! N was so not used to it nor was he brave enough to initiate the kisses, but after a while, he got it B)
Who is the flirt: Neither of them. I mean, Hilda will try to flirt a bit with N just to have fun, but it either falls flat or make N super flustered that he locks up because hoooo boy is it hot in here or what
Who is the romantic: N, bless his soul, tries to be romantic but it doesn’t really go the way it’s planned because he’s trying for the textbook romance? Hilda isn’t one for cheesy hopeless romantic stuff but she appreciates him trying like this.
Who wakes up first: Both of them wake up at a reasonable time at the same time. So it depends on the situation with them the day before that would make them sleep in while the other wakes up first.
Who comforts who the most: Both do! And are amazing at comforting each other in ways that really helps and uplifts the other.
The cuddler: N is the cuddler, and Hilda loves it.
The big spoon: Both take turns being the big spoon!

Zircon?
Ten Facts About Zircon:
His birthday is April 10, 2016.
He takes after Grant more than Viola and has a preference for rock type Pokemon.
His starter is an Anorith he received from his parents when he was 13.
While he doesn’t exactly have a punk rock style of dress, his preference in clothing leans in that direction, making him stand out from his trendy, more sophisticated parents. In general, he just wears what he wants, unconcerned with what’s hip and trendy.
Hairstyle wise, he has an undercut and slicks the top of his hair back.
He first meets Marcel through their parents, during a League event where members were encouraged to bring their families. Being around the same age, they naturally got grouped to play together while their parents did their own thing. Being an easygoing, friendly individual, Zircon is good at getting along with most people he meets, so he and Marcel hit is off despite Marcel’s shyness. They occasionally meet up through their parents after this point, but don’t start regularly interacting until they’re both in their early teens.
Zircon is the one to ask Marcel out, not long after they start spending more time together. It was Marcel’s pretty face combined with his soft personality that quickly lead to Zircon developing a crush on him.
While he would never admit it since he feels ashamed for thinking this, a part of him actually likes how Marcel’s blindness causes him to be more dependent on him. It’s validating when his boyfriend needs him, even for simple tasks.
He only sort of knows Darcel before Marcel disappears, mainly having heard stories about him being a dangerous person, but also being very good at acquiring information. Due to his reputation, when he goes to Darcel for information, he doesn’t tell Katarin about it beforehand, wanting to her safe from harm. As desperate as he is to find Marcel, he knew that, above anything else, Marcel would never want anything bad to happen to Katarin.
His name was chosen because I wanted at least one fankid with a name that started with every letter of the alphabet. “Z” was a letter I struggled with, so I just chose the first okayish “Z” name and gave it to the kid destined to die at the time. In universe though, his parents chose his name because it sounded “strong,” hoping a “rock solid” name would lead to a strong son.
