little skit...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
no warnings pure fluff...
plot: team 7 teasing Kakashi by performing his character in their skit.
word count: 350 aprox.
As the training session progressed, Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura couldn't help but notice something unusual about Kakashi. He seemed a bit flustered and was blushing more than usual whenever he interacted with you.
Curious and mischievous as they were, Team 7 decided to investigate further. During a break in training, they snuck up to a hidden vantage point where they could observe Kakashi and you without being noticed.
From their hiding spot,
Naruto whispered excitedly, "Do you guys see that? Kakashi-sensei is blushing like crazy whenever Y/N talks to him!"
Sasuke nodded in agreement, a small smirk playing on his lips. "Looks like Kakashi-sensei has a soft spot for Y/N."
Sakura, always observant, chimed in, "I've never seen Kakashi-sensei act this way before. It's kind of cute."
As they continued to watch, they saw Kakashi stealing glances at you, his cheeks turning a rosy hue whenever you laughed or teased him. It was clear that Kakashi was behaving unusually, and Team 7 couldn't resist the urge to have a bit of fun at their sensei's expense.
The next day during training, Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura decided to playfully tease Kakashi about his behaviour. They planned a skit where Naruto would mimic Kakashi, blushing and stammering while asking for a kiss.
As the training session progressed, Naruto, in his best Kakashi impression, approached you with a shy smile and asked, "Um, Y/N, could I, uh, maybe, um, have a kiss?"
You couldn't help but burst into laughter at Naruto's exaggerated imitation of Kakashi. Meanwhile, Sasuke and Sakura played along, pretending to be shocked and amused by Naruto's antics.
Kakashi, who was initially confused, soon caught on to what was happening. His cheeks turned a deeper shade of pink as he realized he was being teased by his own team.
"Very funny, Naruto," Kakashi said, trying to maintain his composure but failing as a smile tugged at his lips.
Naruto again tries to break Kakashi composer by taking on Kakashi's persona, dramatically exclaimed, "My dear Y/N, your words are like a jutsu, leaving me defenceless. A kiss, you say? I cannot deny.
The skit continued, with Naruto persistently asking for a kiss while Sasuke and Sakura added playful commentary. Kakashi couldn't help but join in the laughter, his embarrassment turning into amusement as he enjoyed the light hearted moment with his team.

Since she'd asked the question earlier, I'd already been imagining the word 'sensei' falling from her lips in a breathless moan – but know that I'd heard it, my face heated embarrassingly fast and an animalistic sounding growl ripped from my throat.
My hips snapped against hers with new force, driving myself to the hilt with every forceful thrust inside her wet walls. I grit my teeth and let my head tilt back, cheeks still flushed.
F-fuck, say that again.
-- Kakashi
My tightly scrunched eyes snap open at the sound of his growl. The heat on his cheeks speaks volumes about the effect that title has on him and I’d smirk if he wasn't making me see stars with the power behind his thrusts.
Sensei. Sensei. My Sensei!
He looks like he is about to completely snap; those stormy eyes hooded, brow pinched and his jaw set tight. Hooking my fingers into his shoulders I hold on for dear life as he fucks me deep into the bed. The wet sound of skin on skin bouncing off the walls and I can die a happy girl from how amazing he makes me feel.

———————————————————————
My whole body aches as I walk across the grassy field of the Third Training Ground. I'll never understand why Kakashi insists on training so far away from the main parts of the village. Well... I do understand. Despite how he comes off, he is a very sentimental person.
Pain sizzles across my rib cages, a side effect from littered stitches across my skin. I'm never going to hear the end of it when Kakashi finds out.
I should wait until he's done training with his students. I know he's a personal guy and I get it, especially with our line of work, but I want to see him. The burning need for him has been clawing at my heart for the past week. That burning only grew once the stab wounds registered in my head, and somehow became even heavier as needles were being threaded through me to close my wounds. He's going to be pissy or at least off his game when I find him, but that's okay. I know he'll smooth himself out.
As if the universe wants to apologize, a mix of 'why's', groans, and 'Sensei!'s fill the meadow. I can feel a smile perk up at the sounds.
I've heard a lot about my husband's little genins; Sasuke the Uchiha boy who shows great potential if he could get over his attitude, Naruto the chakra-packed spaz-ball who dreams of being Hokage, and Sakara the kunoichi with impressive chakra control who's just a little too distracted by Sasuke.
My smile only grows as the big blob of my husband and his three little blobs fall into my sight. The yellow and orange blob - I think that one is Naruto - is bobbing up and down. What a cute little jumping bean; well jumping blob.
Despite the burning across my sides, I hurry up my pace to get to Kakashi faster.
Once I can make out the details of my dotting husband, the burning in my heart starts cooling off. God, I miss him so much when we're apart. The seemingly unreachable retirement in our future sounds so good right now.
"Calm down, guys. It's just a progress exercise," Kashi's voice rings out, paired with the soft clinking of the bells wrapped around his belt loop. Before I left he mentioned redoing the bell test with his genins to check how they've improved. I guess today is the day.
"Oh, come on Kakashi-Sensei! Do you have to? We all know I'm already the best, do you really have to double-check it?" Blondie whines as he messes with his headband. That is definitely the spaz-ball.
"Being less sucky than Sakura doesn't make you the best," the raven-haired boy mumbles, arms crossed over his chest as he glares at Naruto.
Sasuke's eyes catch me for a second before he glances at his Sensei for guidance. Said Sensei hasn't caught wind of me yet, curtsy of his back being turned towards me with his students facing the both of us.
Sakura's face sinks at her crush's words before a closed-eyes smile crosses her face. "I think it'll be fun to do the bell exercise again, Sensei!" When her eyes snap open, they catch on me too, just like the Uchiha did a second ago. Unlike the boy though, her face scrunches up as she stays focused on me. "Sensei-"
I jump forward, arms wrapping around my husband. I immediately regret it when my stitches come into rough contact with Kakashi's vest. A pain-filled whine slips out as I bury my head between his shoulder blades. "That hurt," I whine again, softly digging my fingertips into his stomach.
"Then maybe don't do that," Kash teases, his smile slipping through his words.
My head lifts before falling back down, softly headbutting his back. "Don't be mean."
A soft chuckle fills the air, spilling out from my husband. The sound fills me with warm, the good love-filled kind instead of the longing kind of heat. "My little crybaby," he mumbles, shifting in my hold so my head is against his chest instead of his back. "Why are you being such a crybaby?"
"I'm not being a crybaby," I bite back but it comes out as a pout instead of the strong 'don't fuck with me' attitude I was trying to have.
"Aww, now you're being pouty," he continues to tease as his hands slide under my shirt.
Despite his teasing tone, everything else about Kakashi is serious. His hands are soft and nimble as he rubs them over my skin, checking for new wounds from my mission. His eye repeatedly scanning me, looking for obvious wounds and any sign of real distress.
"I might have had a not-so-perfect mission," I mumble, glancing behind him at his students. They're all looking at each other in confusion, hushed whispers - and Naruto's failing attempt at being quiet - being passed between them.
"What does that mean?" Kashi asks, his fingers light as he comes into contact with my wrappings.
It's taken some practice, but I can see the small cracks in his calm composure. His eyebrows are ever so slightly pushed forward, jaw locked almost unnoticeably under his mask, eye slightly wider than normal, and a drop of worry hidden in his words. From an outsider, he'd look as calm as ever, but not to me. I can see the storm brewing under it.
"I was stabbed a couple of times but it's not that big of the deal. No casualties and my squad came out less harmed than me, so over all a good mission."
Another slip of composer; his fingers stiffing a bit as he dips them under the bandages. "I can't believe you were stabbed," he whispers, face inching closer to me so I can pick up on the soft volume.
I feel bad about not being able to wait to see him. I know it's difficult for him to keep his composure when I'm hurt, and even more difficult when we're around people because he's worried his composure will slip.
"I got stabbed in my vest," I mumble back, wrapping my hands slightly around his arms before I stand up a bit straighter. I use the extra height to nuzzle myself against his cheek. "It's just a couple of stitches, I'm okay."
"Why don't they make better vests?" Kash mumbles to himself more than me, his focus on his hands as if he could see them through my shirt.
His breath has picked up too, fingers not so light as they cling to my wrappings. My poor anxiety-filled husband is getting into his head way too much. "They're not stabproof. It's like when your watch gets wet and stops working. That's water resistant not waterproof. They need to make our vests knife-proof. They should-"
"I... am... fine..." I breathe out, following each word with a kiss. First to his reviled eye, then to his cheek at the edge of his mask, and lastly, a light one against his masked lips.
     "I know but-"
My hands dip further down his arms, tugging my shirt up gently so the edge of my bandages is exposed. "See? I'm fine?" I tease a bit, dipping my head behind his ear before pressing another soft kiss into him.
When I fall back into place, Kakashi's eye is dancing over the edge of my wrap, fingers lightly dancing over my skin again. A barely visible pink pokes out from his mask. My partner might be a very composed man, but he's still a man. One that falls victim to the shaping of my waist, especially when it's empathized by a skirt or crop top; or bandages in this case.
"It's just a couple of stitches," I repeat before dropping my hands back to my sides, my shirt following pursuit.
"How... how, um..." Kakashi's flustered state is adorable, the pink getting deeper and his eye still locked in please even though his favorite sight is gone. "How long do you need to be taped up like this?"
"I don't know. A couple of days maybe," I answer, letting my own eyes wander over him. I'm as pleased to look over Kashi's body as he is to look over mine; though his v-line is my favorite part.  A soft hum comes from him, his body going back to his actual calmness instead of his fake composure. "You relaxed now?" I tease, pulling away from his touch.
"Ya, I'm relaxed now," he husks out, stepping forward in a slow attempt to chase me.
"Sensei!" All three of his students call, pulling my husband back down to Earth.
I think he missed me as much as I missed him. The thought makes me happy, tugging another small smirk to my face.
"Students!" He calls, eye going wide as he looks at me. Perhaps Kakashi doesn't want me around his students because I'm too much of a distraction. Oh well, one day of distraction won't hurt. "Students," he repeats, turning away from me to face the children he's responsible for.
"Sensei, who's the cute lady?" Naruto asks, his eyes wide as well as he looks over me.
     "Um..."
"You can call me Mrs. Hatake!" I chirp out, sidestepping Kashi so his students can see me better.
"She's not even that good-looking," the little emo boy says, rolling his eyes at Naruto's compliment.
"And you're not as badass as you think you are," I respond, tone still chirpy as I smile at the Uchiha.
"Maybe let's not insult Sensei's girlfriend," Sakura pipes in, sending a glare at her heartthrob.
"Wife," Kakashi corrects, a small smile on his face. My heart jumps a bit at the word. I don't think I'll ever get used to him calling me his wife.
"Wife?!" They all call out, surprise on their face as they look at me.
"Wife," Kashi repeats, tugging his glove off his left hand before grabbing at mine. He holds up our hands, showing off our matching wedding bands to his students.
The bands are basic but cute; black with blue lightening strips through them. Gai teases that Kakashi had them made this way to mimic his Chidori as a fail-proof claim to me. I don't mind the teasing, I find it adorable that Kashi wants people to know for certain that he's my husband. What better way to do that than marking me with his personal ninjutsu?
"You... are married to someone like that?" His kunoichi asks, face scrunched up in disbelief.
"Is that supposed to be an insult, Sakura?" Kash asks, his face still covered in a smile as he wiggles his glove back on.
"No, you're just so..." she makes another face, causing a laugh to brew in my chest. "And she's so pretty."
"You're pretty too, Sakura. I like the color of your hair," I answer, sending the kid a compliment back. Her face shifts to a smile instead of the previous face of disbelief. Good, I'm making a good impression on my husband's students.
"You know Sakura's name?!" Naruto asks, bouncing on the balls of his feet.
I hum a yes, turning my attention to him. "I know your name too, Naruto, and I know Mr Moody over there is Sasuke."
Naruto - somehow - beams even more with happiness, and Sasuke's face scrunches in disapproval. "How do you know our names?" The ball of chakra asks, his in-place bouncing shifting to actual bouncing.
"Because she's a jounin, duh. Do you ever use your head Naruto?" Mr Moody asks, paired with another eye roll.
"Actually, I'm just a chunin. I'm not as skilled as your Sensei," I correct, sending Naruto a soft smile of reassurance.
"Like a C-level chunin or a B-level chunin?" Sasuke asks, his attention finally caught.
"Usually B-leveled but I do take C-level missions on occasion."
"You just got back from a mission, ya?" He asks, body language opening up some. I'm three for three in the student department. That is a solid win.
"Yes, I did. Maybe we can talk about it over some food, hm?" I gently push, sending Kakashi a sheepish smile. I know he's going to give me what I want; he always does, but I should have asked him privately before bringing it up to his students.
On the other hand, Kakashi is out of his groove so I'm sure his students are out of a training mindset as well. Some food would help set them back on track, maybe. Probably not, but I want to get to know his students a little more. After all, they're a big part of his life, which makes them a big part of my life.
"Really?! Can we, Sensei? Can we? Can we? Can we?" Naruto cheers, running circles around Kash as he pleads.
"Alright, alright!" He calls, stopping Naruto in his tracks. "We can take a small break and go eat at Ramen Ichiraku, but as soon as we're done eating we are doing the bell test. Y/N can't wiggle you guys out of that," Kashi answers, sending me a warning look, telling me to not even try to stop their testing again after we eat.
"Yes!" Naruto cheers, darting in the direction of the village's main road.
Sasuke rolls his eyes again but follows after his squad mate, his pace notably slower than Naruto's. Sakura follows suit, trying her best to get Sasuke to promise to sit next to her. He is having none of it though, at least not until Naruto offers to sit next to her. Then he seems a little more interested in the offer. The little Uchiha boy takes after his Sensei more than he knows.
—————————————
"That sounds so cool," Naruto yells around a mouth full of noodles. I'll have to send Iruka a passing comment about his kid's lack of table manners. Despite that, Naruto is still adorable and the cutest little fuzz-ball I've ever met.
"Didn't feel cool when I was getting stitched up," I reply a small chuckle following my words.
"If you can take the cut, you can take the stitch," Kakashi teases despite the tighter grip he has on my hand under the table. Mr. Play-It-Cool isn't as laid back as he's pretending.
"What about you guys? You just got back from the Village hidden in the Mist, ya?" I push gently, trying to change the subject. I can almost hear the 'thank you' brewing in my husband's throat, even if he'd never voice it. The relaxed fingers tangled in mine are enough of an approval. "That must have been fun."
"It was alright," Sasuke mumbles, chopsticks messing with his noodles. Little Moody isn't as good at playing off his emotions as his Sensei.
"You got your second tomoe, right?" I try again, turning my focus to Sasuke. He's a closed-off one, just like Kakashi... and his brother.
The Uchahi's eyes go a bit wide before his full attention is on me. "Um... ya, I guess."
"You guess? I feel like that's something you would know."
"I did, ya," he mumbles before turning his attention back to his bowl.
"Well, that's quite the accomplishment. Your father would be proud."
I should not have said that. Sasuke's grip on his chopsticks tightens, head snaps back up, glare directed at me, as he pushes himself to his feet. The stool he was standing on clinks to the ground, making Sakura jump. It would be a cute scene if the Uchahi didn't have murder in his eyes.
"And what do you know about my father? Nothing. Just like you know nothing about me, so stop trying to be a mother hen. I don't need you to be one, neither does Naruto or Sakura, so knock it off. And while you're at it stop pretending you know anything about the sharingan too, cause you don't."
A soft smile sits on my face as I look over Sasuke. He reminds me so much of Kakashi, right down to the similar anger they have. The only difference is I managed to get Kashi to process his anger for the death of his loved ones.
"Are you done?" I ask gently, ignoring the feeling of Kakashi repeatedly squeezing my hand under the table. That, and the stare he's burning into me.
"Yes," the Uchiha hisses out, eyes squinting in anger.
"Well, first, information on anything - sharingan included - is available at the library. Second, your Sensei has a sharingan so I know a good deal about it. Third, there's a difference between me wanting to get to know you and me wanting to mother you. Fourth, I did meet your father quite a few times before his death so I can say for certain that you were one of his pride and joys."
"Oh," is the only answer I get back, but I don't mind since it seems my speech worked. Sasuke is still a bit on edge but his body language relaxes a bit before he picks his stool back up. I'll count that as a win. What a little spitfire.
The feeling of Kakashi's hold on my hand tightens again, pulling me out of the situation. I turn my attention to him, being met with a soft masked smile. Flowers of love blossom in my chest at the sight. God I love this man, and our little make-shift family. Maybe Sasuke is right, maybe I am accidentally trying to mother my husband's students.
—————————————
"Hatake!" A voice rings out, pulling my attention away from Gai. I've spent the day helping him train his students, aka being an example dummy for new taijutsus he wants to show his genins. It's not all bad, he promised me dinner to "ease my bruises".
"Yes?" I call back, glancing at Gai and his students before turning towards the noise.
Gai's mini-me - Lee - is beaming with joy as he races past me. "If it isn't my greatest competitor for Sakura's heart!" He yells, falling back into his defensive pose. I swear this new generation of Shinobis is just packed full of energy.
Sasuke makes a face at Lee before turning his attention to me. "Sensei wants you," he murmurs before turning in his heels.
I shoot Gai an apologetic smile before heading off after the Uchahi. It's funny watching him trying to stay a step or two ahead of me. Given, that it doesn't last long, him falling back to a normal pace.
Most of the walk is uneventful, nothing more than silence and eye daggers being thrown at me. "I don't like you," Sasuke finally says once we get to the outer fields of the village.
"Well, I don't like you either," I shoot back, trying to keep the smile off my mouth.
Once again Sasuke makes a face, this time in surprise instead of disgust like earlier. "You can't say that to me."
"And yet, I did," I answer, letting the smirk settle on my face.
"You have an attitude problem."
"I'm copying you, so maybe you have an attitude problem."
Another face, this time leaving him as the spitting image of his mother. It's always surprised me how much Sasuke looks like his mom. Will Kashi and my child look that much like me? Or take after their father? I hope they at least get their father's Shinobi skills. Though, children can't be something I think of right now. Kakashi has his hands full as is.
Once again silence falls between the genin and I, but this time it's a comfortable silence instead of the anger brewing one from before. As we walk, Sasuke occasionally bumps into me, his nose scrunching up each time followed by a couple of side steps away from me. Despite his efforts, the little Uchahi keeps hovering back to my side and continues to bump into me. It's good to know under all the brewing, Sasuke is still a child.
"Look!" Naruto's voice echoes across the empty field, his blob coming into view again. "Lady Hatake!" He screams, dragging out my Clan name as he races across the field, Sakura in tow but she's screaming for Sasuke instead of me.
"Naruto!" I call back, bracing myself for impact. Despite my preparation, I still end up taking a step or two back when Naruto's body collides with mine. His limbs stab into me in a few different places, bones colliding against my own along with my stitches. I suck in the hiss of pain trying to slide out as I hold on to the small boy.
"Naruto," Sasuke hisses out, dagger eyes back on his face. "Be careful. Hatake is still hurt, dumbie." An eye roll is paired with the end of his sentence, along with a disappointed tongue click.
     "Oh, right. Sorry Lady Hatake."
"It's all right," I hum, straightening the boy before letting him go. "What are you guys working on?"
"Chakra control! Which I'm doing awesome at, by the way," Sakura answers, a proud smile across her face. I can't help but smile too at how proud she is of herself. My husband does have some good genins.
"Hello," Kakashi's voice rings out, pulling my attention away from his students, but not for long.
"Nah-uh! You get her all to yourself all the time Sensei, wait your turn!" Naruto barks, a sorry attempt at a glare on his face. "Guess what Lady Hatake!"
"What?" I ask, glancing down at the chakra ball before looking back at my husband. He's beaming - well beaming as much as he lets himself outside of the safety of our house.
"I tried a new ramen last night!"
"Oh ya?" My empty question is followed by a twenty-minute conversation about some spicy ramen Naruto tried. It's also filled with Sakura reminding him that he's stupid and Sasuke's disapproval being openly shared.
"Okay, that's enough about your dinner, Naruto," Kashi pipes up, cutting Naruto off. "You can have her back in a minute. Go... see who can hang upside longest." He mumbles, shrugging towards the tree a couple of feet away.
"It's totally going to be me," Naruto cheers, running off towards the tree.
"No way I'm going to let you beat me!" Sasuke yells, dashing after his squad mate, Sakura hot on his heels.
The thought of children crawls back into my head. I already adore Kash's students, I can only imagine how much I'd adore our children.
     "Hey, Kash-"
     "Love-"
Silence follows our accidental overlap, before being chased away by both of us chuckling. "What were you going to say?" I ask, soaking in my husband's appearance. No matter how many times or how long I look at him, Kakashi is always the most handsome man in the world.
"I think we should go to dinner tonight," he answers, glancing at his students. As ordered, all three are hanging upside down like bats. Though, Sakura looks tired so the competition will probably end up being between the boys.
"Why's that?" I ask my attention also on the genins. My chest bubbles with joy as I watch the boys try to tug each other off the branches.
"I want to talk about having a baby."
"What?" The word is torn from my lungs as my head flips back to Kakashi.
He's stood there, arms crossed and a faint smile under his mask. "I want to have a baby." He repeats, my head spinning a bit. Maybe he's more prepared for a child than I thought.
"Kash-" I start again, but end up getting cut off for the second time today.
"Naruto is cheating!" Sakura yells, waving her hands around to try and get Kakashi's attention.
"I'll see you tonight. Naruto! Knock it off!" My eyes trail after him as I watch his path toward his students. The idea of motherhood seemed so lovely a second ago, but now? It's terrifying.

I accidentally deleted the ask but I think it was prompt 6 with Kakashi 😅
Link to NSFW prompt list
6) Reader wearing lingerie to impress character
NSFW - Minors do not interact
Warnings: thigh riding, vaginal sex, light bondage, degradation kink
Kakashi was tired. He was always tired, especially these days, when his work as a sensei already occupied most of his days, and when he was not teaching Team 7, he was assigned to S-rank missions that would take him away from you for days on end. Today he had finished teaching relatively late, and all he wanted was to see you and maybe be intimate with you. It had been a week and a half since you'd had the time to have sex, and as a man who had an extremely high sex drive, reading his books was not sating him in the slightest. So when he turned the keys in the door of your shared home, he was already thinking he would be taking this chance to make the most of the evening with you, perhaps he would even tie you up. You loved when he did that, and there was something about your trust in him that was a huge turn on for him. That, and the fact that you were so very helpless.
It seemed as though you had similar ideas, because when he walked into the living room, his breath caught in his throat as his eye took in the thigh high fishnets you were wearing, and the lacy black panties and matching bralette that offered him a peek of your nipples through the flimsy fabric.
Kakashi could already feel himself getting hard, and as you looked at him and smirked slightly, he was completely undone. He said nothing as he took off his headband and his jounin vest, along with his undershirt. The air felt nice on his bare face, and his sharingan analysed your body, seeing every little catch of your breath and your dilated pupils. You were waiting for him to say something, or maybe, you were just waiting for him to fuck you. Either way, he would comply. That little outfit was truly going to be the death of him.
He stepped closer to you, lifting you up and draping you over his thigh as he sat down.
'Well, well. You usually lie around in skimpy lingerie when I'm not around?' he asked, tracing your lips, his hand settling on your ass. You whimpered when he moved you on his thigh, your eyes fluttering shut as you bit your lip.
Kakashi would not have that. He replaced your teeth with his, pulling slightly, feeling the pliant flesh of your lip before he soothed it with his tongue, shushing you with his hand rubbing your back.
'Wanted to surprise you- give you a show' you moaned, starting to grind on his thigh. Kakashi let out a chuckle, gripping both of your wrists and grabbing a rope from his holster. Your eyes widened slightly, and you let him tie your hands behind your back.
'I'm going to fuck you in this, then. But first, you want to give me a show so badly? Then give me a show, darling. Fuck yourself on my thigh. Want to see how much you wanted this' he said, twisting your nipples through the lace and making you squirm as you slowly and steadily started grinding on him.
'Good girl. You missed my cock so much, pretty girl?' he mused, nipping on your throat, smacking and groping your ass to get you to grind on him faster.
'Mhh-mmh... Kashi-' you whined, your head dropping on his shoulder as he kneaded your tits in his large palms, his long, calloused fingers toying with your nipples.
'Already fucked stupid, are you? Use your words. You must have had a reason for dressing like a slut' he crooned, his tongue laving your throat, his lips latching onto it to suck harshly at it.
'Wanted you- so bad... Wanted you to fuck me' you mewled, kissing his neck, moaning in his ear so filthily he only wanted to rip those vulgar panties off you and fill you with his cock.
'Filthy slut. Do you touch yourself as well when I'm at work? Are you that desperate for me?' he asked, pulling your hair so you would look at him. You moaned, your eyes rolling to the back of your head as your breathing got more ragged and you started whining more as you approached your orgasm. Kakashi wrapped his hand around your throat, his fingers going to stroke your clit, watching you squirm and jolt.
'Ahh... I do- 'm so close, Kuh- Kashi...' you stuttered, biting down on your lip and tensing up as he felt your clit throb on his thigh. He groaned, picking you up effortlessly and pushing you against the sofa, his hand holding onto the knot between yours as he yanked down your flimsy knickers.
'You'd best take my cock like a good little slut if you are so intent on looking like one'

tag, you're it.
'it's today' kakashi thought, breathing deeply probably for the thousandth time that day. he had it planned for about a month but he couldn't help to feel anxious as the time got closer. touching the little velvet box in his pocket, kakashi watched the clock on his wall, wondering if time got slower since he step his foot there. he was waiting, not so patiently, for his lunch hour just to see you. everyday you stopped by to hand him his lunch or even eat together, but today it was going to be different, early that morning kakashi asked you if you two could go to Ichiraku get some ramen at his lunch time, and you agreed without a doubt, but actually he planned to take you on a walk by the river, where close by there was a picnic ready and waiting for you and then, lately he would finally ask you those four words he's been dying to say to you.
"are you waiting for someone?" he heard shikamaru's voice next to him, bringing him back to reality.
"huh?"
"I said are you waiting for someone? you're staring at the clock for some time now" the younger male affirmed, placing a pile of papers on his desk.
"just waiting for lunch, I'm kind of hungry" he tried to change the subject "and these are...?" he pointed to the papers in front of him.
"work. and you better be fast kakashi-sensei, there's more coming by the afternoon" he said turning away.
"thanks, shikamaru..." he said low while the boy closed the door behind him. kakashi shoulders got tense as he looked at it, taking a deep breath he didn't waist time to start, he had two hours until you came. by the time you walked through the door, kakashi placed the last paper sheet on the pile beside him, he rushed to get it all done and fortunately he had managed it just in time.
"hi, love" he said getting up to greet you with a kiss on your cheek.
"hey, babe, are you ready?" you smiled at him, placing your hand on his arm.
"for you? always" he joked, trying to act normal. you just laughed lightly, giving him a pat on the chest.
"should we get going then?" just as he was about to answer, you two got interrupted by shizune and shikamaru walking in with huge piles of paper, being followed by two other people holding just as much paper.
"hate to be a killjoy, but you have to get these ready till tomorrow" shikamaru explained while kakashi looked at him with wide eyes "and there's more coming". kakashi took a deep breath placing his hand on his face, frustrated about this inconvenience. he looked at you in the eyes and you could see the distress in them, smiling slightly you tried to reassure him.
"it's okay 'kashi, I'll go buy us some ramen and then we can eat here together, okay?" you caressed his covered cheek while he looked down at you, disappointed.
"I will make it up to you"
"there's no need, now go sit and get it started because I want you home tonight, I will be right back." you gave him a quick peck and turned away leaving the room, kakashi only stood there, hand in pocket touching the little box.
"hogake-sama?" shizune called him. now, taking a deep breath for the thousand and third time that day, kakashi sat by his desk and started once again those endless piles, upset his plan was ruined.
afterward when you came back with lunch, you two ate side by side, and after that you insisted to stay there with him, switching between helping him with paperwork and massaging his shoulders through the hours. when the sun was already down, he insisted you you go home, promising you he wouldn't stay all night there.
the two hands of the clock were up, indicating it was midnight when kakashi got home. taking his sandals and his hogake cloak off, he saw you on the couch, wrapped in a blanket watching whatever was on the tv. you glanced at the tired man in front of you, opening your arms you invited him over to your embrace and kakashi didn't even flinch when he moved to sit between your legs, hiding his face in your chest and holding you as close as possible to him.
"long day, huh?" you asked, stroking his soft silver hair.
"the longest. thanks for staying with me through the afternoon, I really appreciate it" he uttered.
"it's okay love, I just want to be by your side".
"forever?" he closed his eyes.
"forever".
kakashi then relaxed, drifting into sleep thinking tomorrow was going to be the day, he was going to ask you tomorrow. tomorrow.
kakashi was hopeful as his lunch time was getting closer, he again asked you to go to Ichiraku together and for the second time his clone got the picnic prepared. today everything was going to be fine, no paperwork to get done and no shinuze or shikamaru to trap him there all night. kakashi patted the box in his pocket, waiting for the time to come. he was going to ask you today. as the time passed, kakashi was getting impatient, usually you're never late and that was enough reason to get him anxious. the silver haired man then decided to summon his ninken to help him.
"congratulation, boss" pakkun said right away, trying to look nonchalant.
"I didn't asked her yet, pakkun" he started, looking at the dog frustrated "but I need a favour".
kakashi then proceeded to explain everything to pakkun and what he needed to do so his plan could work, the dog only agreed and told kakashi to relax, put this matter on his paws meant job done. kakashi only sighed, wishing pakkun a good luck when he saw the dog leave his office.
after hours of waiting, pakkun walked in the room, carrying a box on his back. kakashi stopped everything he was doing and looked at the dog, waiting for him to talk and actually explain why he took so long. when he noticed pakkun was waiting for him to say something, he arched an eyebrow in question.
"she's taking care of Mirai, boss, she said Kurenai had an emergency and she forgot to contact you. she also made me bring you food," kakashi exhaled, resting his head on the back of the chair " there's biscuits for me too, so pay attention to not take them." pakkun jumped on his lap, patting kakashi on the leg to get his attention.
"I should eat your biscuits just because you made me wait for so long" kakashi provoked the dog, who groaned at him in response. he tried not to get disappointed again by the fail, so he just reheated the food his girlfriend made and ate, enjoying his dog presence.
tomorrow, he was going to ask you tomorrow. tomorrow.
on the third day, everything was more than prepared, no paperwork, no unforeseen, no problem ahead. when you got there, kakashi quickly took you outside the hogake tower, not letting anyone interrupt you two. you walked beside him watching your way while kakashi watched you closely, distracted by your lovely figure next to him, he only noticed his surroundings when you started to get closer to Ichiraku. surprising you, kakashi took your hand and started to guide you in the opposite direction from the restaurant, you looked at him confused and he only gave you a warm smile. you decided not to ask, you trusted him with your life after all. taking his hand in yours, you intertwined your fingers, walking along with him.
you were already outside the populated part of Konoha, getting closer and closer to the river. kakashi was sweating as the anxiety dropped his stomach on his feet, the hot weather didn't help him at all with the shivers down his spine. watching him from your side eye, you finally spoke.
"what are you planning, kakashi?"
"nothing, love" he looked at you "I just thought we could enjoy the weather together". you looked at him suspicious, but decided to believe him anyway.
the walk was calm, the spring wind was blowing the flowers around you, helping the romantic vibe. kakashi was happy about how well this was turning out, you looked comfortable and joyful by his side, making he believe he couldn't be more in love. you stopped on your feet, turning your face to look at him surprised, he took a moment to realize you two were already by where his clone prepared the picnic.
"what is that, kakashi?" you squeezed his hand. kakashi looked over the blanket where the basket, the champagne and flowers were sat.
"for me looks like a surprise for a lovely person" he said playfully. you patted him on the shoulder and ran over the blanket, kakashi chose the right location under a big tree, making the river look ever more bright and clear from there, he was happy that place didn't not change at all along the years.
we walked slowly to you and places both of his arms around your waist, holding you tight from behind.
"I hope you like it" he placed a kiss on the top of your head.
"oh 'kashi, i loved it" you turned around, placing your arms around his neck "it's beautiful", you slowly took his mask down and placed a tender kiss on his lips.
"not as beautiful as you though" he answered when you broke the kiss, giving you a quick peck on the lips again "are you hungry?". kakashi watched as you happily agreed with him.
you two sat down next to each other and kakashi started to take things off the basket, he bought all of your favourites, and you watched it admired, it was almost like a mini feast for the two of you. kakashi could see not only in your eyes, but in your face as well how delighted you were and he couldn't be more satisfied by that. you two ate calmly, enjoying each other presence, the whole evening was full of food, conversation, laughter and caresses.
when you two were leaning on the tree, champagne glasses empty and your head on his shoulder, kakashi felt like it was the right time, so he turned at you taking a deep breath, taking your hand in his he turned your attention to him.
"y/n, my love, I don't know if your remember, but this was the place we met, right under this three" you shook in head in agreement, "since that day you became the most important person in my life, we were both fourteen years old and we were both going through tough times..., when I met you I felt a connection, and as the years went by I fell in love with you" he took his hand inside his pocked, holding your left hand only "and now, after so many things together, after a war, and after becoming hogake, after so many years..." he switch hands, holding your left hand with his right one, looking for the box in his other pocket "after so many years... I just know I couldn't be more in love with you..." he patted his back pockets lightly "I love you more than you could ever know... y/n..." he patted the pocket on his leg, looking in your tearfully eyes.
kakashi stopped for a moment, not believing this was happening. shit, shit shit. he held his head in his hand, taking a deep breath. this couldn't be happening.
"baby, what's wrong?" you asked seeing he changed his behaviour.
"I think I lost my keys" he came with an excuse, deadpan expression on his face. he stared at you, and for a moment you just stayed there looking at each other, until you break in laughter. kakashi didn't know how to react, but seeing you laugh that much, holding your belly in your hands, calmed him down, not believing his forgetfulness in such moment, he only could laugh at himself. you laid on your back, still laughing and he laid by your side, watching the tears fall from the corner of your eyes.
"oh my god" you said, trying to calm down "I love you so much, kakashi" you looked at him, smiling brighter than the sun "I love you so fucking much" you gave him a peck on his covered lips "thanks for today, love, I will never forget it" you shifted positions, laying your head on his chest, for a moment he became nervous about his heartbeat, but didn't mind as you cuddled him.
"me neither, darling" he placed his arm around your waist, and he didn't lie, he could he ever forget how he forgot the ring to propose you on that day.
the dark clouds became closer and closer to the village as the hours went by, kakashi and you were walking peacefully through the village, he early decided shizuke, shikamaru and naruto could handle things today, so he decided to take the day off to spend it with you. he was holding three bags in one of his hands, the other one was holding yours tenderly, after you went home yesterday, you two couldn't get off each other, you were still inebriated in kakashi's words and kakashi was still trying to pretend like he wasn't going to propose you yesterday, but he still had a plan. you two stopped at Ichiraku to get some lunch before going home.
"y/n, I was thinking if we could take a walk with the dogs today" he said when you two got home.
"I'm totally up, but we should go before it starts to rain" you mentioned.
the eight dogs walked around you two, you were close to the same river as yesterday, but near the training grounds this time, still no one around, you two were quiet, but not uncomfortable.
"how did you manage to get out that office today?" you looked at him.
"I said naruto could practice being hogake for a day and shikamaru being his right hand without me to train him, shizune is supervising them though" he explained to her.
"ugh, I hope naruto can become the hogake soon so I can have you all for me" you said playfully.
"you already have me all for you, darling, duh" kakashi pulled you close by your waist, placing a small kiss on your forehead.
"but not as much as I would like" you placed a peck on his lips, kakashi took his mask off and pulled your lips together again, tasting the sweet ice cream flavour you had before on your tongue. you wrapped your hands around his neck, pulling the hair on his nape slightly. you two broke the kiss when the first drop of rain fell on your heads, looking to the sky, you two smiled at each other before sharing another kiss. the ninken who were close to you decided to run, happy about the earth becoming mud under their paws.
"oh, it's going to be a mess" you said, watching them play with each other.
"yeah, but a really cute one" he added.
"can't disagree"
you two watched as they played happily, mud now all over them. distracting you for a while, kakashi placed his vest on your shoulders, you gave him a smile and accepted it, wearing it fully and closing it around your torso. you two were now soaked from head to toe but you didn't even mind, you were happy with each other presence and nothing could change that. for a seconds you didn't even comprehend the words who came out of shiba's mouth as he got closer to you, a second later before a 'tag, you're it' you slipped on your feet as the dog jumped on you, making you fall butt on the ground.
"sorry!" the grey dog said before running away from you.
"thanks, shiba!" you voiced while kakashi only laughed at you "help me, 'kashi" you insisted, when he gave you his hand, you held it and pulled him to the ground as well "tag, you're it" you said, now laughing as well.
"what a dirty game" he declared, smiling playfully "I suggest you to run now" he said taunting you "I'm gonna count till five"
when kakashi started to count, you quickly got up on your feet, staying closer to the dogs. once he started to run, it was pure chaos, the dogs rushed around, trying to scape from him and you ran trying to stay on your foot, slippering most of the time. you ten played for a long time, slippering, falling and laughing, over and over again. it was kakashi's turn again when he made you his target, you tried your best to dodge from his touch, but when you got out of breath and placed your hands on your knees, you heard kakashi stop close to you letting out a giggle, you closed your eyes, trying to steady yourself, saying 'just a sec' to him. when you got up, you almost fell again as you saw kakashi on his knees, holding a little black velvet box in his hand.
"tag, you're it" he said opening it, revealing the prettiest ring you have ever seen. you watched him mouth-open, not knowing what to say, you felt tears forming in your eyes as he cleaned his throat, opening his mouth to say something "y/n, I love you, will-", you didn't let him finish as you jumped on him, making him fall back on the ground with you on top of him, saying 'yes' multiple times "I didn't even get to finish" he laughed looking at you, you sat on the ground and pulled him to sat in front of you, murmuring a little 'sorry'. taking a deep breath, he looked at you "y/n, will you marry me?" you took his mask down to look right on his face, the smile he gave you melted your heart and you never felt so vulnerable with him looking at you like that.
"yes, kakashi, I will marry you" you answered him, tears now rolling down your checks. kakashi took the ring and putted it in your dirty finger, but you didn't even care, it looked beautiful like that. you held his face with your both hands and kissed him deeply, and as kakashi pulled you closer, the only thing you could hear was the loud voices of the dogs behind you.
it didn't happen as planned, but kakashi didn't wish it to be any different, you were finally his.

A/N: some cute things i came up with i wanted to write some kakashi my man deserves some attention too
Warnings: none
Wordcount: 727
Tumblr media
♡ He knows you’re part of the ANBU, he was notified by Tsunade herself (even though he isn’t a part of it anymore) but everyone knows he is trust worthy and she thought it was something he deserved to know.
♡ He is very worried about you when you have a mission, usually he is told when something is going on in the village so when every once in a while you are sent to a very important and/or dangerous mission you must know he isn’t gonna have not a single minute of sleep until he knows you made it back safely.
♡ If it happens that you are sent alone to a mission just know he for a fact is gonna follow you, he is very cautious and is very good at hiding his presence to avoid being noticed, he does think you are more than capable of protecting yourself, don’t get him wrong, but he still does it mainly for his own mental sake.
♡ He is so so proud of you, when he has the pleasure to see you in action he can’t help but stare at you in awe, almost drooling as you take down opponents without breaking a sweat. Kakashi defenitelly thinks you are the most badass person he’s ever met and adores when other people praise or recognise your strength and your exceptional abilities.
(I must add he loves to brag about you and praise you when he has de opportunity, to the point his friends have to shut him up cause he can go on and on and doesn’t know when to stop, can you blame him though? Everyone has to know how amazing and beautiful you are, duh.)
♡ The combination of you being cute and gentle and the complete definition of a sweetheart to everyone but also in the other hand being capable of being ruthless and a overly skilled shinobi?? drives him i n s a n e, he just can't get enough of you!
♡ He loves when you call him nicknames, everyone calls him kakashi, sensei amongst others but you are the one that he allows to refere to him as anything else his favourites are kashi or baby, it makes him feel so special and gets pouty if you use his full name.
(You also make up weird ass names for him, for example: “my little baby prince”, “my angel king of my soul”, “baby veggie dumpling”, “prettiest shinobi of the land”, “my perfect angel baby” and so on, they make him laugh and in fact he adores them, its become a thing between you two, he honestly looks forward to what you come up with each time.)
♡ When he finally has you home after a long time away, (even more than a couple days is long enough for him) he has a delicious meal already prepared, a warm bath ready for you and some of your favorite flowers sitting pretty in a vase with a little present next to it, a small detail to make you smile, like a ‘welcome home’ present. There’s nothing in the world that he loves more than taking care of you, knowing himself how tiring ANBU missions can be, after a long mission he wants you to just get home and not have to do anything, and i mean anything, if you need something, even the smallest thing, you can be sure that he will do it for you.
♡ If you love books just like him, that’s something yall bond about, making it a tradition that on sundays you have a chill day where both of you only lounge in the couch/bed and read, just enjoying each other’s company and after that reading session he takes you to the village restaurant to eat dinner and comment/talk about what happened in the book.
You both for sure gift each other books all the time, if a new icha-icha book comes out oh boy, you are the first get your hands on it so your man can read it without having to wait. And the same for you, he has his ways to get the books you love even before they launch officially, it brings him genuine happiness to see how excited you get and how your eyes shine when you have a new story to devour.
<3 Overall he is just the perfect boyfriend, get yourself a Kakashi <3

Part 12 New here? Check out Part 1
Tumblr media
You and Naruto leave the Hidden Sand after a successful negotiation. Naruto had noted how easy it was to sway the Sand’s counsel of advisors this time compared to others. Usually Gaara has to work harder to make negotiations reach an agreement but the elders were nothing short of appreciative words and submissive smiles when they found out your name. Apparently everyone on the council already knew who you were. You did your best to assume it was because of your work but you were terrified to know if they knew of you before or after the mess at the gala.
The entire ordeal was far more diplomatic than you were expecting and didn’t seem to garner a hint of danger. …leave it to Kakashi to find some loophole that makes you ‘active duty’ without being active.
It almost made you wonder why he was so hesitant to do this to begin with. It was barely dangerous. You doubt that Naruto has used a single jutsu in the past year if these are Kakashi’s missions for him. It almost seems like a waste of his talents. Except the kid is crazy likable and powerful enough that people who don’t like him still respect him.
Either way, you go as a group to look at the ruins and you make quick work of the translation. Much to the surprise of the Sand’s governing body and to the chagrin of their intelligence team, it takes you 4 days to work through all the tablets. Before you left, Gaara even asked to speak to you about a permanent position with his administration. As tempting as the offer was, you thought about Kakashi and Shiho and your cousin. You didn’t want to move far away from them like that.
“The Leaf is very lucky to have you. Of that I am certain.” Gaara says in reply to your rejection.
You shrug and give him a cocky smile saying, “Maybe tell them that sometime.”
Gaara gives a small chuckle, not entirely sure what you mean, but he makes sure to bring it up in his raven back to the Hokage thanking him for your visit.
Jumping tree to tree you notice how keen Naruto is to get back to the village. It makes you happy to see the boy’s eagerness to see Hinata. You wonder if Kakashi would’ve been that way had the two of you met sooner. Your mind starts to wander to Obito. He had once said how he’d teleport back home even during missions so he could be with you. You bet Obito would have the same look in his eyes that Naruto does.
The thought pangs you. The way Obito’s eyes soaked in your presence the last time you saw him. The love you feel from him with nothing more than a single look, it touches your soul. Part of you wishes he'd stop looking at you that way, the other part of you knows a little piece of you will die the day he does.
You shake the thought from your mind as you near the village gate. You’re home and ready to see the man you chose, the man you’ve been in love with from the start. Much to your surprise, Kakashi is actually at the village gate waiting for you.
“Angel.” he greets with relief laced through his voice. He instantly pulls you into a strong hug. Both arms are wrapped around your smaller form and you feel as if he might crush you from his strong hold.
“Hi baby.” you say in muffled tones. You could barely breathe let alone talk from the way Kakashi held you.
“Kakashi-sensei, do I have permission to turn in the report tomorrow.”
“Go home to Hinata. We can talk tomorrow.”
“Thanks Kakashi-sensei.”
Naruto’s face says it all. The boy is madly in love. Similar to the man holding you hostage at this very moment.
“Kashi, you didn’t have to be so worried. Everyone was very friendly. And Gaara is Naruto’s friend. There wasn’t any danger.” you whine.
“There’s always danger when I let you out of my sight.”
You think back to the event shortly before you left. Now it feels like a lifetime ago but maybe for Kakashi it was too soon. He did have the trial while you were out of the village. Perhaps for him this is all too fresh.
“Kashi, I’m fiiine.” You struggle to say as you reassure him. “And can you please stop crushing me? I can hardly breathe.”
Kakashi gives you one last harsh squeeze before loosening his grip and settling for just a hand around your waist. The two of you walk across the village to your home so you can shower and change into less sweaty clothes.
“How was your trip?”
“Very productive. I assume you already knew that though since Lord Kazekage sent a raven.”
Kakashi gives you a proud smile.
“Four days.” He says. You crack up at the implication. “I bet his translators were pissed.”
“Oh they were. They gave me death glares.”
“See? I told you it was dangerous.”
“Oh please.” You roll your eyes with a smile. “I think they all believe I’ll be responsible for their unemployment.”
“Ah, so you are thinking about the job offer.”
You study Kakashi’s face at this remark. He was joking but his eyes were dark with sadness.
“No, I wasn’t.” you correct him. “Did Gaara seriously tell you about that?”
“He asked me to have you reconsider.”
“Hey,” you coo as you lift your hand to brush his cheek, “I didn’t even consider it for a second. I don’t wanna leave the village.”
The worry on Kakashi’s face remains. “I’d think after everything that’s happened…”
You stop in the middle of the street and turn to face him. “I’m not leaving. I wanted a break, not a relocation. I’m happy with my new position. It makes me feel a lot better. Thank you.”
The puppy dog look in Kakashi’s face melts your heart. You had the man utterly wrapped around your finger. You weren’t sure you were comfortable with the influence you had over one of the most powerful men in the village. It could be dangerous if you are in the wrong mood.
You walk in comfortable silence the rest of the way home.
The second you are through your front door, Kakashi dotes over you. You walk in to find all your favorite takeout is already waiting in the fridge, fresh flowers are at the table, and he had all the fixings for a lovely soak in the tub waiting in your bathroom. Kakashi heats up your food and then moves to get your bath ready while you eat. You can’t remember a time you’d been pampered so much in your life and it has you worried that Kakashi did something wrong while you were away.
He comes out of your bathroom, his sleeves rolled up, rubbing the suds off of his forearms. He paces over to where you are sitting, happily slurping away at your noodles, and plants a wet kiss on your forehead.
“Your bath is ready my Angel.”
“Oh?”
His eyes twinkle down at you.
“Will you be joining me in said bath?” you ask as you walk your fingers up his shirt.
“Only if you agree to sit in my lap.” he whispers into the shell of your ear.
You close your eyes and hum at his sultry tone.
“Here” you say, trying to feed him some of your noodles with your chopsticks. “You’re gonna need your energy.”
Kakashi happily takes several bites, letting you share your supper as his hands wander under your shirt.
Once your noodles are gone the two of you practically sprint over to your bathroom, stripping as you go. He loves how even though you are much more muscular now, you’re still soft and pliable like you always were, just with some extra hidden strength below the tender flesh. He slips into the bath, holding out his hand to let you in. You sink down beneath the bubbles and lean against Kakashi’s hard chest. He somehow remains in exquisite shape even after taking an office job. You wonder how much training a Hokage goes through to stay sharp in the face of a true village threat. You allow yourself to settle against his warm milky skin and turn your head so that your ear rests on his heart. His arms wrap around your waist just under your chest.
You breathe deeply, taking a moment to appreciate the epsom salt relieving your muscles. You look around to the lavender candles lit along the rim, the purple bubbles filling the tub up to your shoulders, and listen to the soft music playing in the background. The man knew how to draw a bath.
You nestle into him a little deeper and feel his member stiffen a bit in the small of your back. You sleepily let the tiniest giggle slip out when you notice.
“You think it’s funny, huh?”
“Yeah, it’s funny.”
“You’re the one pushing against me.” he says as he draws shapes on your arm with his finger.
“I know.” you simper. “I can only imagine how your fangirls would feel if they found out I gave you a boner and didn’t do anything about it.” That thought really pulls at the corners of your lips.
Kakashi scoffs. “My fangirls…”
“I’m sure I could fuel their little fires for a year with that tidbit of information.”
“Don’t go telling anyone about your Hokage’s boners, now. Especially not my fangirls. That’s an order.” he punctuates with a playful kiss to your cheek.
You hum. Him giving you orders is very seductive and the mood this bath is putting you in has you pliable to suggestions.
“Why? Afraid of an international incident?”
“You might start one.” he jests, now kissing your neck. “What if my fangirl forms an alliance with a fangirl from another nation? I’m quite famous ya know.”
“Oh I’m well aware. Some girls from the Sand were asking me about you.”
That piece of information doesn’t sit well with Kakashi. He knows that he made a fool of you in front of the representatives of other nations at the gala. He also knows that’s part of why you were so furious with him. He wishes he could take it all back and never put you through that humiliation.
“Kashi,” you hush with gentle strokes along his forearm, “it’s okay. I’ve gotten over it. I forgive you.”
Kakashi lets out a breath he didn’t even know he was holding in.
“Since when do you forgive me?”
“Now that you’re letting me go on missions. It’s a lot easier to forgive when you feel at peace.”
“So you- you feel at peace?”
You sleepily nod against his chest.
Kakashi responds by cradling you protectively, relief flooding through his muscles.
“Word’s already spread that you’re doing international visits. I got three ravens while you were gone.”
“Oh?”
“One from the kazekage thanking us, one from the Hidden Waterfall, and one from the Hidden Stone.”
“That’s a good thing, right?”
“It is. You’re a powerful resource. But it also means you might be targeted.”
“How so? They’re gonna capture me to interpret a dusty scroll?” you laugh, “Let them.”
“Y/N, I’m serious.”
“Sorry.”
“The more of these visits you do, the more S class intel you know about various nations. Rouge shinobi will want to capture you for that knowledge. They will interrogate you and possibly torture you.”
“I guess I hadn’t thought about that.”
“That’s why I never entertained this idea before.”
You chuckle.
“What’s so funny?”
“You thought about sending me to other nations before?”
“Of course. My first week in office.”
You snort. “...knew it.”
Kakashi’s hand plays with yours. His thumb brushes your knuckle as you interlock and unlock your fingers with his.
“We’ve got to be at the training grounds early tomorrow.”
“We do?”
“Yes, I promised I’d train you.”
“Right…”
You nestle into Kakashi further, making sure to wiggle an extra amount down below, earning a grunt from the man.
“Y/n…” he warns
“What?” you pout with doe eyes, “I thought maybe I’d earn some extra credit by doing a pre-workout tonight.”
The wolfish glint in his eyes excites you. You feel him spring to life against your lower back and the lazy conversation you just had washes from your mind as your hormones replace it with thoughts of more engaging activities.
Kakashi raises a hand to your chin, turning your head and kissing your neck slowly. Your eyes close and you feel your entire body relax. His lips move slowly over your skin, allowing you to feel the gentle tickle of his soft lips and warm breath. You tilt your head out of his way, granting him further access.
He moves both hands to your waist, gripping you firmly and pulling you against him. You roll your hips backward providing him with friction while one of your hands reaches backwards to tug at his hair. One of Kakashi’s hands slides down between your legs, his fingers finding your clit and rubbing slow circles.
“Fuck Kashi…” you whisper
Kakashi hums into your neck, continuing his gentle strokes. You struggle to catch your breath and use your free hand to grasp your chest. Your fingers pressing into the fat of your breast, adding to the building sensation in your core.
Kakashi’s hand kneads the muscle on your hip as his other hand lowers, slipping two fingers into your folds. Your breath hitches with the insertion followed by a low moan. Teeth graze over your skin and goosebumps erupt all throughout your limbs.
Kakashi strokes his fingers in and out of you lazily, allowing you to bask in the feeling. He’d occasionally pull all the way out to rub a few circles around your nub before sinking back in, stealing your breath away completely. You tried to keep swirling your hips against him but soon you were unable to keep rhythm as his fingers distracted you from all thoughts and actions.
Enjoying how he threw you off your game, Kakashi shoves in a third finger, stretching you out. The bathwater began lapping at the edges of the tub as his hand quickened in and out of your hole. His fingers curl upwards to stroke where you like it most. Your feet push against the front of the tub, your legs stiffening from ecstasy. Your back pushes into his chest as you squirm in pleasure. The faster he stroked the more you moved causing the hand on your hip to grab around your waist and then ultimately grip you at your breast, your hand still cupping the other one.
“Going somewhere?” He taunted
“Oh fuck, oh fuck, oh fuck.” is all you could pant. Breathing out the words like a mantra. The hand that had a death grip on Kakashi’s silver mane found a new home clutching the rim of the bathtub as you braced for your impending orgasm. Your legs straightened against the tub, shoving you fully into Kakashi’s abdomen. He gives your chest one last squeeze before lowering the hand to whirl around your clit while he dug four digits into your straining cunt. He finger fucked you till your walls spasmed around his knuckles and chocked moans are all that mingled with the sounds of the splashing water.
Your eyes rolled back and your body went limp. Kakashi could feel how your walls trembled with aftershocks from your release. Your heart was beating heavily in contrast to the near lifeless state of the rest of you.
Kakashi chuckles into your ear. “Greedy girl, giving me a boner and then getting herself off. Tsk tsk.”
His voice was smooth as honey and his words made a wave of chills wash over you in the warm soapy bath water. Kakashi fed you his fingers before he used one to trace along your cheek and jaw bone, musing aloud, “I guess I’ll have to take care of this myself or risk getting blue balls. What a shame that I have such a selfish girlfriend.”
“Kashi…” you whisper, exhausted from both your mission and your orgasm
“Yes Angel?”
Too fucked out to form a sentance, you instead lazily turn around in the tub and push Kakashi’s legs together so your knees could rest on the outside of his hips. You prop yourself up on his chest and lay your head in the curve of his neck. You line up your entrance over his hardened length and slowly sit down. You hear him suck in as he sinks inside of your gummy walls. There is a slight twitch inside of you but you’re too tired to care. Instead you drift off, falling asleep and napping while cockwarming him inside of you.
Eventually you find yourself in your bed but you don’t have any recollection of how you got there. You’re dry with comfortable pajamas on and your boyfriend’s arms wrapped around you. It was quite blissful. If this is what being home from missions is like, then this is by far the best career move you’ve ever made.
*************************************************
The next morning, Kakashi decided against going to the training grounds and instead had you running up and down the stairs leading to the cliff above the great stone faces. While this was once a workout you relished in, you never had to do it so many times in a row and you were never expected to spar afterwards.
“Kakashi, we’ve been going at it for hours…” you pant, bent over with your hands perched on your knees.
“Wrong attitude.”
“Babe, I mean it” you say sternly, trying to communicate that you were at your limit.
Kakashi ignores your tone and only charges at you, forcing you to block several strikes with your forearms. You catch him smiling below his mask.
“It’s not funny” you grunt between blocks.
Kakashi’s slick fingers pull out a kunai as he continues his attacks. You can’t believe how relentless he’s being. You feel like you might collapse and he still chooses to pull out weapons.
Obito was harsh but Kakashi was down right dangerous. He backs you up to the cliff’s edge and you almost fall over. A gasp slips from your lips in fear. Kakashi feels the length in his pants twitch at the familiar sound. However he ignores it and keeps pushing forward till you fall off the side. You draw the last of your chakra to catch yourself before you plummet to the ground and what would have been certain death.
“You’re a mad man!” you shout up at him with every spare drop of energy you had.
All you hear is laughter coming from your boyfriend atop the cliff.
“Dick…” you grumble while you pull yourself back up to where he stood.
Exhausted and unable to stand, you crawl to his feet before falling over on your back, eyes closed as you face the sky. Kakashi continues to chuckle and you open one eye to glare at him.
“Something funny?”
“Oh nothing…”
That’s when you realize a tent is pitched in his pants. “Did you seriously get a boner from pushing me off a cliff?!”
Kakashi’s face blushes, small laughs still rocking his chest. “Whatcha gonna do about it?”
“I hate you so much right now.”
Kakashi lowers himself to the ground, beginning to whisper in your ear as he hovers his body over yours.
“Sorry, you make your bedroom noises while you train. It’s quite distracting.”
If you could roll your eyes you would’ve, but instead you just lay there collecting your breath.
“Hmm, your lack of response is really quite concerning. Perhaps you need more motivation.”
You go to swat at him but instead he grabs you by the waist and throws you over his shoulder as if you were no more than a sack of potatoes, marching off to a wooded area with you like the spoils of war.
Once there was a little bit of privacy Kakashi sets you down against a tree, the trunk helping you sit up.
“Tsk tsk, still unresponsive. Maybe we should work on your breath control to improve your cardiovascular endurance.”
You give him a questioning look as a wicked smile stretches over his face. Oh no. You feel Kakashi fist your hair with one hand as he frees his hardened length with the other.
“Open.”
You look up at him pleading. You’re so exhausted, you can barely keep your eyes open let alone give head. He holds the base of his cock and lightly beats your cheek with it. “I said open slut.”
As you feel the weight of his girth strike you in the face you flinch but you comply, opening wide so he could stuff his salty member between your lips. Your eyes nearly close at his taste, your tongue instinctively tracing up the underside of his shaft.
“Good girl” he coos as his thumb brushes your cheek before both hands settle into your hair.
You relax your jaw and stick out your tongue as Kakashi strokes lazily into your mouth. His tip prods at the back of your throat, slipping all the way in before pulling out. Your tired breathing is interrupted by selfish pleasure. You cough around him still winded from before.
“Hmm” he hums disapprovingly. “Let’s try that again, shall we?”
He slides himself all the way in and holds you there. Your exhausted body begins to wake up, half heartedly pushing him off of you. He pulls back allowing you to pant and catch your breath.
“Again.”
He shoves himself back in, hands holding your head captive. You struggle and cough with him shoved all the way down but he just tauntingly slaps the side of your face with his hand before loosening his grip so you can breathe.
“I think the lesson’s starting to stick. Let’s try one more time.”
Your eyes look up at him begging for mercy but there’s none to be had in his lust-fogged mind, he buries himself in your throat again. Your head is pushed up against the tree’s bark, no way for you to get off of him.
You try inhaling but there is just no way for oxygen to get past his girth. Kakashi pinches your nose, shaking it side to side. The evil teasing is causing a surprising amount of wetness between your legs. He starts to stroke in and out of your mouth.
“You know, you never returned the favor last night. Maybe it’s time to remedy that.”
You’re dreading his words, knowing what they mean. Both of Kakashi’s hands grip your hair, threading his fingers through your locks as he widens his stance. “Relax your throat for me Angel.” Given how tired you were, you were barely capable of tensing up. You were so oxygen deprived that your chest was heaving and your mind was fuzzy but that didn’t stop the puddle of arousal forming in your underwear.
His fingers tighten and that’s your cue. Kakashi throws his hips into your mouth, fucking your face with reckless abandon. Wet ragged breaths are pulled down your windpipe between thrusts. Kakashi’s quick to cut off your air supply with his manhood. Your tired arms claw at his thighs making an appeal to be granted a breath. Gurgling sounds are all that are emitted from your mouth as he abuses your throat for his own pleasure. Your watery eyes look up at him but his head is lolled back, looking towards the treetops. More choked breaths lead to him twitching inside the column of your neck.
“Fffffuckk…” he grunts, his pace slowing down.
You feel hot cum spring out of him and travel down your throat. “Oh shit… Angel... Fuck.” He draws a breath through his teeth as he trusts in and out of you, emptying himself in your mouth. He finally withdraws and leans his forearm and head against the tree, holding his softening cock in his hand. You pant with your mouth open, tongue hanging out, the back of your head perched against the tree.
Once Kakashi catches his breath he tucks himself away and squats down next to you. One hand cupping your cheek, he releases you with the words, “I think that’s enough training for one day.”
You close your eyes and fall limp against his chest. “Thank gods.”
He chuckles as he holds you, brushing your hair and cradling you in his arms.
*************************************************
You were only home for three days before Kakashi caved and sent you on your next mission. During those remaining two days, Kakashi had you run drills with Naruto so you could get used to his fighting style and practice defensive formations that would allow you to escape while Naruto restrained and eliminated enemy nin.
At the end of the day, no matter how strong you might become, you could never compare to the power of an Uchiha susanoo like Obito and Sasuke or a tailed beast like Naruto and Kuruma. That was why Kakashi left the responsibility to Naruto to fight off the enemy single handedly while you ran for safety. He was not about to risk your life fighting when Naruto could do it for you and do it easily at that.
During these training sessions you became rather familiar with Naruto and grew to enjoy the boy quite a bit. He was turning out to be a fun teammate and even entertaining to fight with. Kakashi’d actually have to break a sweat when fighting him which you found endlessly humorous after he spent so much time beating up on you.
Inevitably though, the day came that Kakashi would be forced to say goodbye and send you off on another mission. This time you were to visit two villages before returning home. First you are headed to the Hidden Waterfall to interpret markings found on a cliff face. Then you are to make your way to the Hidden Stone to evaluate a set of scrolls that the village was too hesitant to transport to the Leaf. According to Kakashi, the Tsuchikage had been asking for the Hokage’s permission to have you look at these scrolls for quite some time.
You couldn’t help but notice how well respected you were by other nations. You also couldn’t help but contrast that to how you were being treated here at home. Doing your best to not dwell on the comparison, the thoughts still slip through and it causes a tightness in your chest.
Naruto and you leave the Hokage’s office bright and early that morning. Another goodbye riddled with emotions as Kakashi looks at you like it’s the last time he’ll ever see your face.
Once out of the familiar village your mind is able to focus. The mission was clear. Transcribe for the Waterfall then send a raven to the land of earth when you are on your way.
It was going to be a longer mission. Partly due to the amount of distance you’d have to travel but also because you were unsure how long each interpretation would take. The mission could easily turn into a two month project. That was a long time to be away. Especially for Naruto. You wondered about how Hinata felt about his long absence. Especially one with a questionable return date.
“Naruto?”
“Yeah?”
“How does Hinata feel about you always being away on missions?”
“Well back when she had missions of her own she didn’t mind at all. Sometimes we even had missions together.”
“Aww, that’s sweet”
“But now that we’re thinking of trying for a baby, I know she misses me.”
“You’re…congratulations!”
“What for?”
“Trying for a kid is a big deal!”
“Is it? Well gosh. Thanks I guess!” he says with a nervous scratch to his head. You feel a sudden wave of guilt wash over your mood as you contemplate how Kakashi is risking Naruto’s dream of having a family to save your skin. What a sacrifice for him to make all over a small possibility of someone trying to abduct you over some silly language skills and intel you may discover in the process. Before he was doing normal diplomatic visits. No risk involved whatsoever and now…the way Kakashi made it sound had you nervous.
Your thoughts are broken by the sound of your name.
“-huh?”
“I said, why did you ask?”
“O-oh, cause Kakashi seems to be struggling with my absence. And well, he went on missions for a long time. So he should understand this lifestyle better than any other boyfriend I could have-”
“Maybe that’s what’s making him nervous. He knows how often we come home by some stroke of luck or by the skin of our teeth, ya know?”
“But, I have you. How could he question if I’m gonna make it home?”
“Kakashi-sensei knew me when I was nothing more than a hard headed kid. He might not view me the same as the rest of the village.”
You chuckle remembering how crazy he used to be. Kakashi had shown you his official ninja ID photo just yesterday.
“What?”
“Did you know your file still has that crazy photo of you with red and white paint?”
“It does?! Aww man!”
You laugh and shake your head. “Thank you Naruto.”
“What for?”
“For protecting me. And for being the reason why Kakashi is letting me do this. I needed this…more than you might now.”
Naruto did know. He knew exactly how the village turned on you when they found out you had been secretly seeing the Hokage. Not to mention the events the day before you were assigned to him. He wasn’t going to say anything but he could imagine just how much you needed a break from the Leaf after all of that.  He remembers when there was a time he needed a break from it too.
“...You’re welcome.”
You smile to yourself and continue your travels to the Hidden Waterfall in comfortable silence.
*************************************************
The Hidden Waterfall was even more beautiful than you expected. Both the landscape and the people were gorgeous. You felt like you entered a fairy tale while you were there. The hieroglyphics you were tasked with deciphering were etched into the side of the cliff by one of the waterfalls. It was a harrowing climb and the job was definitely not for the faint of heart. You suddenly became grateful that Kakashi shoved you off a cliff during your last training session but like hell you were ever going to tell him that. Despite the bodily exhaustion of getting to the engravings, the actual symbols themselves weren’t too far off from a dead language you had learned for fun a couple years back.
Your first visit to the site, you were accompanied by the village leader, an archaeologist, and two linguists with Naruto serving as your chaperone. However, once you got to work and they saw how quickly you began stringing the pieces together, the next day there was an extra person watching you. Then the next day there were three new faces, and by the fourth day you had to express your discomfort because a total of 12 additional strangers had come to stare at you as you clung to the side of a cliff trying to wraith and decode simultaneously.
On the fifth day you had written down all the symbols on a scroll along with your initial thoughts of the translation so you didn’t need to climb back up again. When you started trying to blend the message together, you found that some parts of the cliff didn’t weather so well and the symbols must have been distorted with time. Being the perfectionist you were, you drew what you believed the original shape was and worked till the meaning made sense.
To your great surprise, the cliff held clues towards a secret hidden power within the city’s walls. Something similar to the secret star in the Hidden Star Village.
This must be the kind of thing Kakashi was worried about me learning.
“People will already notice you because you are beautiful. They will pretend that is why they are staring at you. Pile on that you are a genius, the hokage’s girlfriend, and the amount of village secrets you know and it’s a recipe for abduction.” Kakashi’s words of warning run in your mind.
All those people. What was their motive for watching you? Cause you were the pretty girlfriend of the hokage, or because they were impressed with your skills? Were they interested in what you were doing or were they observing with nefarious intent?
Either way, you were relieved that the head of the village was respectful of your wish to be alone. He would not allow you to be completely alone, of course. He needed to make sure you didn’t make a copy of the translation for yourself or a copy to sell to other nations. But he was very polite in the way that he asked to sort through your belongings at the end of your stay and you made certain to assure him that you understood his intentions.
Ever grateful for your help, they sent you off on your journey with copious amounts of rations and per Naruto’s request, provided several packs of instant ramen. Many people involved in the project waited at the village entrance to waive you off as you left. You felt like a small celebrity as you reentered the forest.
“Is this how you feel all the time?”
“What’d you mean?”
“Everyone recognizing you and waving at you as if you know them.”
“Well…I guess sometimes, yeah.”
“Does it ever bother you?’
“No. There was a time where everyone knew me but they either ignored me or gave me looks of hate. I’m much happier knowing no one thinks of me like that anymore.”
The boy once more tugging at your heartstrings. Naruto was just so wholesome, it was impossible not to like him. No wonder Kakashi used him for all his diplomatic dealings.
As you smile at Naruto, you notice his face drop into a stern expression. He peered over his shoulder, nodded, and then looked forward again.
“What was that for?”
“Huh?”
“Don’t play dumb with me. I saw that”
“Saw what?”
“Saw you nod at something- or someone. Is someone there?”
“No, I just thought there was.”
You didn’t appreciate how Naruto brushed you off like you were stupid. He had just watched you bring an entire village to marvel at your intelligence. Clearly you were smart, so what was with playing coy?
What you didn’t realize is that Naruto sensed familiar chakra. A certain Uchiha to be exact. The worried aura appeared suddenly and as Naruto glanced over, his suspicions were confirmed. Obito had teleported over to see how you were doing. Naruto gave him a reassuring nod to which the Uchiha nodded back. It wasn’t the first time Obito had checked in on you nor would it be the last. The idea of you being so far from his protection was extremely distracting and though he had fought side by side with Naruto and knew his strength, he was still haunted with worry after he wasn’t there to protect you from Aoto’s attack weeks prior. So even if it was in secret, he'll pop in and check on you, just for his own peace of mind.
*************************************************
At last you made it to the Stone and to your great surprise, you were greeted with a small entourage and a young woman.
“Hello, Y/N I take it.”
“I, uh, yes. I’m sorry, who are you?”
“I’m Kurotsuchi, the fourth Tsuchikage.”
“Oh!” You immediately bow, “I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to be rude. I was expecting an old man.”
“You mean my grandfather!”
She laughs and puts her arm on your shoulder signaling for you to stand up.
“It’s okay, how would you know? You were pretty distracted the first time we met.”
“We’ve met?”
She bursts out roaring, almost making herself cry. You weren’t a fan of being kept in the dark so you stood there growing in frustration till she explained that you had met the same night that Kakashi blew up an entire street fighting with his best friend.
The blush that took over your cheeks is so bright it can easily be confused with a sunburn.
Kurotsuchi clutches her side, “Oh,” she wheezes “I don’t think Kakashi will ever live that one down.” Your blush now growing to your ears, you wished you could’ve dealt with the old man. You doubt he would’ve cared about idle gossip as much as his granddaughter did. You quickly clear your throat to cut her off.
“So I understand I was summoned to look at a set of scrolls?”
The tsuchikage calms herself before clearing her throat like you, “Yes, we’ve been holding on to these for quite awhile. Please follow me.”
You follow her though the village, several armed guards convoy after the three of you.
“I apologize for all the security. We’ve been concerned about these scrolls for quite some time and we need to make sure you are protected while you’re here.”
“Thank you. I’m sure Kakashi would appreciate it.”
“They are also here to guard the scrolls from you.” You’re left a little stunned into silence. “While we cannot help what you will learn in this process, you will not be permitted to write anything down and take it outside of the secured area.”
You exhale as you comprehend. “Oh, no worries. I handle classified information all the time. I understand.”
She leads you to the village headquarters and through several doors that are locked with both ID cards and chakra signatures. You walk through windowless corridors and realize though the intel is likely just as precious to the village, it is a very different environment from your visits to the Sand and Waterfall. You couldn’t help but notice how much more severe the people of the stone were. They were quick to laugh but equally quick to scowl.
Your eyes continue to wander around and your appreciation for Naruto’s company grew. You would never want to be behind so many locks and doors without an ally on the inside. Eventually you come to the end of a hallway and are asked to raise your hand. You comply and see a chakra force field materialize. Kurotsuchi weaves signs and then pushes your hand into the force. You feel a warmth tingle against your palm till suddenly your arm falls through. She pulls you through but you stop halfway across the threshold.
“What about Naruto?”
“He can guard from the outside.”
“No.”
“Did you just say no?”
“I’m not going anywhere without him. Kakashi’s orders.”
“These are classified village secrets. You’re in no position to determine who does and does not have access to this room.”
“And I am a world-class mind. You’ve been holding onto these scrolls for a year looking for someone who can interpret them. I know what value I bring and so does my Hokage. Hence why he sent me with a jinchuriki bodyguard. I am not going to put myself in a more compromising situation than I already am by being a foreigner in a distant village. Either he enters with me or we leave.”
You see her face twist in anger.
“If you need to discuss it with your village elders, we can wait.”
She begins to chew on her bottom lip in thought before she nods and gestures for Naruto to put his hand on the chakra barrier.
You both step through and enter one final door before you are greeted with a floor to ceiling bookcase of scrolls.
“Wow” you whisper, barely audible as you gawk at how much work awaits you.
“May I?” you ask, turning towards Lady Fourth.
She gestures for you to move towards the scrolls. You stride up to the shelves and grab one at eye level. You unfurl the paper and scan down the old parchment. The symbols looked familiar but also very strange. You wished you were at home where you had several textbooks that you could use as reference but alas they were too far away.
“How many are there?”
“One hundred and twenty three. We wondered if it was an intentional amount.”
Naruto lets out a small groan, surely distraught at the idea of missing Hinata’s ovulation window.
“Why didn’t you warn us that this was going to be a lengthy job?”
“The less information the better.”
“I disagree. Having adequate expectations and perhaps an idea of what resources from home I might need would’ve sped up this project. It could be entirely possible that we will have to return home before I’m done.”
“Are you saying you can’t do it?”
“I can, but if I had a small sample of this writing, there would’ve been a couple textbooks I would’ve brought for references.” You purse your lips together in thought. “I’ll do what I can. If I get stuck we will have to come back for a second visit.”
While Kurotsuchi didn’t seem pleased about your answer, she didn’t seem displeased either so she left two guards in the room with you and Naruto and made her departure.
“Oh, and by the way, we will provide for all your needs while you're here. You just have to promise to stay within the main part of the village where my Anbu can see you at all times.”
“Understood, Thank you Lady Tsuchikage.”
You turn back to the scroll in your hand. “Naruto, I’ll do my best to make this quick. I won’t keep Hinata waiting.”
“Thank you Y/N, but don’t worry about me. There’s always next month.”
“Here, grab the scrolls on the top shelf for me. I’m gonna need to see if there is a numbering system. Maybe I can put them in order.”
Fortunately for you, the numerals used in the language of the scrolls weren't too archaic and you figured them out without reference but the language of the scrolls themselves was perplexing. They could almost be read in three different languages but none of the sentences made sense when read as any of them. You were really wishing you had your textbook. The one in your office in the bottom drawer of your desk. Why didn’t you just think to pack it just in case?
You turn to one of the guards feeling a headache coming on. “May I take a walk outside? I need to clear my mind.”
They bow and lead you through all the barriers and doors, bringing you up to the front of headquarters. The final rays of sunlight can be seen through the glass doors. Naruto follows your lead and steps outside with you. The sun’s fading light causes you to realize you’ve neglected your needs the entire day. Soon you hear Naruto’s stomach call for food.
“Let’s get something to eat.”
“Thanks.” He said with a grateful smile. The two of you head off to a local ramen shop, not feeling adventurous about your food choice. Naruto stuffs himself then heads to the bathroom, leaving you alone at the table. You pay the bill with the money left by the tsuchikage and decide to wait outside in the sweet smell of dusk.
Something about the way the fresh air fills your nose and the falling darkness of night comforts your mind, brings you peace. That is until a heavy hand lands on your shoulder frightening you. You spin around, ready to attack.
“Princess, relax! It’s me!”
“Obito?!?!”
Your fear quickly melts to relief as you jump into the man’s arms. He holds onto you like a precious treasure.
“What are you doing here?”
“I was worried so I decided to check in.”
“Did Kakashi send you?”
“No, he thinks I’m still on my mission.”
“Are you still on your mission?”
“Technically, yes.”
You let out a little giggle. You missed him more than you realized. Your arms restrict around his upper body in an impossibly tight hug. Obito hugged you back and spun you around like you were weightless. Setting you down where he first startled you.
“Wait, Obito, I just had an idea.”
“What is it Princess?”
“This assignment, it’s going to be long. Like really long. But I think I have a textbook in my office that could help me figure out the language. Would you Kamui back to my office and bring it to me?”
“Kakashi would know I’ve been visiting you then.”
“Is that a problem?…aside from the fact that you’re supposed to be on your own mission.”
“Well he specifically didn’t want me checking in on you.”
You hum, “I’m surprised. I’d think he’d want reassurance that I was alright.”
“He’s insecure about our relationship.”
You don’t respond. If the roles were reversed you’d feel insecure too.
“But I’m sure Shiho will keep quiet for me.”
Your eyes light up at this. “Really?! It would make the translation go so much faster.”
“Sure. I can’t say no to you.” His face softens significantly as he stares down at you. It warms your heart to look at him. He was too good for your silly love triangle. He deserved better. He should be someone’s first and only choice. Why did he choose to love you?
“It’s the biggest book in the bottom drawer of my desk. You can’t miss it.”
“Care to tell me the title at least?”
This brings a small laugh to your lips. “I could but it’s in a language you don’t understand so I doubt you’ll remember it.”
“Odjebi”
You gasp at his profanity pretending to be insulted before you break into a smile.
“You remembered!!”
“Of course I remembered. I remember everything you tell me.”
“Aww Obi”
“Stop swooning I just told you to fuck off”
You giggle and wonder how many of the curse words you taught him that night he still knew.
“Still doesn’t mean you’ll remember the book title. Just ask Shiho if she’s there cause if anyone moved it, it would’ve been her.”
“Fine” he grumbles. “I’ll be right back.”
In a blink he swirls away, leaving you alone once more, just outside the noodle shop. You can’t help but think Naruto must be having a terrible time on the toilet if he’s taking this long. You wonder if he hadn’t relieved himself in a while. Fortunately you don’t continue musing on this thread much longer as Obito reappears in front of you holding one massive textbook.
“You weren’t kidding when you said I couldn’t miss it.”
“Thank you!” you say as the weight of the pages is transferred into your arms. “Anyone see you?”
“Nope.”
“You’re the king of sneaking around.”
“You don’t know the half of it.”
“And I never plan to.” you say with a curt nod. Obito only smirks at your response.
“Stay safe, Princess.”
“Same to you Obi.”
Before he goes, he wraps his arms around you and kisses the top of your head. “I’m proud of you, miss hot-shot interpreter.”
You sink into his chest. He really does give the best hugs. “Thanks Obi but you’re embarrassing me.”
“Oh I embarrass you huh? Should I make a scene?”
“Obi!” you shove him off to which he laughs with a jolly and boisterous chuckle. “I’ll see you back at the village.”
“Not if I see you first.”
“Gonna keep spying on me then, huh?”
“Absolutely.”
Your face softens into a grin. “Niiiight!” you sing at him
“Night Princess.” and with a twinkle in his eye you watch him vanish.
Holding the text to your chest, you wait for Naruto while the warmth of seeing Obito fills your weary mind.
“There you are, Y/N. What’re you doing out here?”
“Hm? Oh, just enjoying being outside. We’re going to be indoors a lot over the next couple weeks. I wanted to say goodbye to the sun.” You finish the last sentence in a dramatic fashion earning a chortle from the golden haired boy.
“Hey, uh, Y/N?”
“Hmm?”
“Where, uh, where did you get that book?”
“Oh! I un-” Should you tell Naruto about Obito? “I-I bought it from a shop nearby.”
You weren’t sure if lying to Naruto was the right thing to do but you also weren’t sure how he would feel about Obito following you. He would be loyal to Kakashi for sure but how would that loyalty manifest?
“Is it gonna help you with the scrolls?”
“Very much, yes.” you beam.
The two of you turn towards your lodgings and head back for the night. You had weeks worth of work to get to in the morning.
*************************************************
You did your best to go through all the scrolls in a timely manner. The first one took the longest, about two days to work all the way through. But by the fourth scroll you got the hang of the language. Naruto’s eyes widened as he watched you graze through the fifth scroll.
“How’d you do that one so fast?”
“I don’t know. It just kinda made sense.”
“But you read that like it was in Japanese.”
“That’s how it is for me. Languages are easy. Once I get it, I’m fluent.”
“Woah. No wonder Kakashi-Sensei likes you. You’re even smarter than he is”
“Be sure to tell him that for me.”
He sniggers at you.
Now that you have the hang of the language you are able to run through the scrolls at a substantial pace. You could decipher about 7 of them in a day. Your speed was so fast in fact that there was quite a bit of buzz coming from the Anbu who were aware of your reason for being in the village with the infamous Naruto.
Of course you’d draw attention wherever you went. The kid was one of the most famous ninja in history. Plus you still gained quite a few stares for being the significant other of the Leaf’s Hokage. It was impossible for the Tsuchikage to hide your presence in the village which only made concealing your reason for being in there that much more of a challenge. You only hoped that all the paparazzi that followed you around were there for celebrity reasons and nothing more.
Kurotsuchi ensured you always had Black Ops over your shoulder but they didn’t make you feel nearly as safe as Kakashi’s student did. For all you knew, the Black Ops were ordered to eliminate you as soon as you were done. You were sure the Tsuchikage had thought about it. If she had any real clue what the scrolls were  about then it was definitely a possibility. They told of a hidden weapon within the Land of Earth, in a remote part. If it were to fall into enemy hands, it could destroy the village and all surrounding areas. But this weapon also could put a target on their backs. Other nations might conspire against them to ensure it is never used.
You had contemplated if you should be sharing the intel with Kakashi. Maybe during a time of war but not during a time of peace. At least that’s what you tell yourself.
The scrolls were fascinating to say the least. They told the story of why the weapon was created and how it was developed. Along with all the instructions on how to use it and ways it was used before. There was so much history and culture embedded in the text. You were certain that historians, intel officers, and shinobi captains were anxiously waiting for you to finish. After only 19 days from start to finish, every scroll was transcribed and put back on the bookshelf in order. You stand before the reorganized bookshelf internally patting yourself on the back. You hold the stack of parchment containing your translations in your hands. That is when Kurotsuchi pulls you into her office for a debriefing.
“I have to say. I am incredibly impressed with how quickly you completed all one hundred and twenty three scrolls. The rumors about you do not do your work justice.” She speaks as she leaves through the pages of your handwriting. “Now our alliance with the Leaf is still somewhat new. While we couldn’t have done this without you, and believe me we tried, we still would like to ask you not to share what you’ve learned with anyone else.”
“Understood.”
“My men have told me you didn’t share your findings with Naruto. Why is that?”
“Yes, well you didn’t want him in the room so clearly you don’t want him knowing what the scrolls said.”
“This is true.”
“Like I said, this is an S rank mission and I am quite familiar with S class intel. It’s a little unusual keeping the information away from my comrades, but if this is the kind of thing I am going to be doing, I should show respect to every village I visit.”
“That is appreciated.”
“Please note, if you ever try to use the information from my translation to hurt the Leaf, that is where my loyalty ends.”
“I understand. But I must warn you in turn, if it is discovered that you share the information you learned during your time here, my Black Ops will be after you.”
“I expect them to.”
“So we understand each other?”
“We understand each other.”
“Then you are free to go. Please share my gratitude with your Hokage”
“Will do my Lady.” you say with a bow.
You open the door to let Naruto come in and say his goodbyes. He and Kurotsuchi are friends and fought together in the recent war. They laugh together before parting. The both of you making your way to the village border and soon you and Naruto are back on the road. This time headed home.
Home.
You hadn’t been there in so long. It had been over a month. You were anxious to see Kakashi and tell him all you could about your travels. The beautiful Hidden Waterfall, the strange Hidden Stone, the people who followed you around and asked for your autograph. How proud you were of yourself for deciphering both projects in record time. Though you were a confident woman, you still really appreciated the validation from others.
You and Naruto are gifted food from some of the villagers you had come to know over the past few weeks. Naruto couldn’t help the look in his gluttonous eyes as the boxed lunches were handed over to you. You stored some in a sealing scroll and the rest you shoved in your pack.
You traveled the majority of the day but stopped eary. Choosing to make camp around supper time when you grew hungry. You pull out the meals from you backpack and begin to eat, Naruto wolfing his down like a teenager. You smiled and shook your head at his unrefined behavior.
“You know you’re gonna give yourself a stomach ache like that.”
The boy shrugged but sure enough, thirty minutes later he disappeared to use the bathroom. Naruto always put a lot of distance between himself and you when he needed to ‘go’ on the road. You decided to lay out the tent and your sleeping mats, even crawling in yours though it was not yet time for sleep.
You heard twigs snapping underfoot.
“Wow, that was shockingly fast! You ready to turn in?”
Instead of hearing the  familiar voice of your teammate a shuriken slices through the wall of your tent.
You panic and immediately slip out of your sleeping bag. You slip your hands into your tactical pouch and pull out two kunai ready to  defend yourself. When you run out of the tent you see them standing in the trees. One rogue Stone Black Op and eight rogue shinobi. What made it worse is that you knew them. All of them. The Anbu man was the main guard who stayed in the room with you. The very one who complimented your talent and walked around the village with you the most. A few of them were people who you noticed following you and made you uncomfortable. But four of them, the last four were shinobi who had helped you out throughout your stay in the village. One of them was the one who had given you the rations…shit, what if they poisoned Naruto?!
You come to terms with the realization that you will likely fight this battle alone. You know as soon as you scream for help you will be forced to start fighting. So before engaging, you center yourself and draw a deep breath.
“NARUTO!!!!!!!”
The name barely passes your lips before the first knife is thrown. You run to the side of the clearing, putting the men in front of you rather than surrounding you and weave the signs for Mind Confusion. All nine men fall to their knees clutching the sides of their faces with their hands. Some of them fight against the swirling feeling you stirred inside of their brains.
You run up to the ones who begin to stand back up and pool your chakra in your fist before punching them in the back of the head, successfully knocking them unconscious.
Two down.
You do it again, bringing them to their knees with your jutsu and knocking them out with a heavy blow to the back of their heads.
Threes more, that makes five.
You head to the sixth shinobi who begins to rise but he throws a shuriken at you and you have to backflip away to dodge the blade. You begin to weave signs again but three of them round on you to begin hand to hand combat so that you are denied the opportunity to weave signs again. Fuck.
You hold your own against the three, oftentimes dodging their attacks so that they hit each other, letting them do the work of fighting for you. However soon the fourth remaining attacker tries to restrain you.
“Come ‘ere pretty girl. I don’t bite…hard.”
You glare at him and channel your chakra for another punch. This time directed at the attacker’s mouth.
“Aww, seems she didn’t like that Botan. Better luck next time.”
“Yeah, sorry Botan, you just got your jaw broken by a girl.”
There is a round of laughter among the group. You were in the fight of you life and these fuckers were laughing. It killed you knowing you were no match for all these men but Naruto could wipe them out in ten seconds. You needed Naruto. Where is he? Is he okay?
Your anger helped you command your chakra and you were able to land blows on two more of them but still all four conscious men were able to continue the fight. You tried, you really did but you were taking on four targets at once, one of whom was a member of the Stone’s Anbu. You struggled to free your hands. If you could use Mind Transfer on him, then maybe you could use him to fight his comrades. But even as the thought entered your mind you were slammed against a tree by that very Anbu.
“Sorry sweetheart, but you know too much. Maybe the Tsuchikage was willing to let you live but I’m not so trusting.”
“I wouldn’t share village intel. I have no need for it.”
“Maybe you don’t but we do.”
“Hey, didn’t she go to the Hidden Waterfall on her way here? Maybe we should find out what she knows before we kill her.”
“Shut it Koko! I’m in charge here.”
“I’m just saying… Plus it’d be a shame to put such a pretty face to waste.”
You see how the man currently holding a knife to your neck eyes you. He pushes himself against you and you know you’ve lost. Your mind is a swirling mess of fear, worry for Naruto, and flashbacks to the bathroom at headquarters. Strength you didn’t know you had exuded from your body and you begin to push the shinobi back but then two more come to his aid, restraining you against the tree.
Suddenly a blue giant appears before you, so massive that all you can truly see is its foot. Then following a crack of thunder all the men around you are beheaded. It happens in an instant. You blink several times as your mind registers the bodies falling limp at your feet. Blood gushing from their necks as their hearts pump their final beats. Your entire face, chest, and arms are drenched in blood from the severed bodies that once restrained you yet now lay heavy against the ground.
You look up at the garganchuan and realize it was Obito’s susanoo. Tears burst forth from your eyes as your mind registers what happened. You’re safe…Obito saved you. He relinquished his susanoo and returns to the ground. You run to him as he marches towards you. But before you can hug him he grabs your wrist, snatching you into his void.
“Obi wait! Naruto! Our things!”
“FUCK YOUR THINGS!”
“Obi?”
“YOU ALMOST DIED! AND YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR THINGS?!”
“But what about Naru-”
“I DON’T GIVE A RAT’S ASS ABOUT NARUTO! HE CAN TAKE CARE OF HIMSELF!”
“Obito…”
“You’re going back to the Leaf. NOW!”
Obito pulls you out of his void and suddenly you are just outside the Leaf’s headquarters. Despite nearing the end of the day, there are still quite a few people around. Obito drags you by your arm, his large hand wrapping around your bicep. You stumble beside him through the halls up towards Kakashi’s office. The blood that’s coating your face, chest and arms is beginning to dry on your skin and make you itch.
“Obito, slow down!”
The man just huffs as he pulls you up to the double doors, kicking them open and throwing you inside.
“KAKASHI, WE NEED TO TALK!”

Pairing: Kakashi hatake x reader
Warning: cats, implied smut.
It was a fine day. After a hard time of practising team 7 decided to have ramen. The team was headed towards Naruto's favourite ramen shop, Ichiraku's.
On the way back home, Sakura spotted a stray kitty.
"Kakashi sensei, wait up." Sakura said, lifting the cat in her hands. Everyone came to a halt.
She examined it thoroughly in her hands. She noticed it was so weak. "We can't just leave this cat here. We need to take it home and give it treatment."
"Yeah, then take it home, Sakura." Naruto said.
"I can't. My mom will kick me out if she knows I brought a cat inside our house. Naruto, why don't you take it home?"
"I can't. I don't know how to take care of a cat." He said sheepishly.
"Sasuke?"
"I'm sorry but I have more responsibilities than taking care of that cat." Sasuke said. But deep down he wanted to take it home and cure it. But he wasn't sure how.
"But we can't just abandon it here." Naruto said. "Kakashi sensei, why don't you take it home with you?"
"Who? Me?" Kakashi wondered.
“Yes.”
“I- I” kakashi hesitated. Before he could say anything, Naruto pushed the cat to his hand. He wanted to take it home but..
__________________________________________________________________________________
“Honey, I'm home.” Kakashi said, his voice was a bit shaky. He had the cat hidden behind his back. He entered his house and searched for his wife. But she was nowhere to be found. He let out a relaxing sigh.he rushed to his bedroom and hid it in the closet. He kept a bowl of water and a bowl of milk for it.\
“Be a good kitty and be silent. Okay? Stay here.” he said to the cats and it meowed back.
“Kashi, you are home.” you said as you entered the house.
Kakashi closed the closet door but He kept the door a bit open so the cat wouldn't suffocate.
He ran out of the bedroom to greet you.he hugged you and kissed on your cheeks.
“y/n, I’m so hungry. Is there anything to eat?”
“No,but I can fix something for you.”
“Yeah, that would be nice.”
“But before that I need to change my clothes. I hope you can hold your hunger till then.” you said and started to head towards the bedroom.
He started to panic.
You walked past him. He grabs your wrist, spins you around and pulls you into his chest. You gasp at his sudden moment.
“I've changed my mind. I’m not hungry anymore.”
“Is that so?”
“Yeah, I'm hungry for something else.” he whispered. He slowly slides his finger from your lips to your neck. You let out a shaky breath.
“Not- not now. later . I really wanna get out of this dress…”
“Yeah, I really want you out of this dress.” he interrupts you.
“And get into something else.” you finish your sentence. You push him away with a kiss on his cheeks.
You move past him and open the bedroom door. Every step you took towards the closet, Kakashi's heart slowly stopped beating.
Suddenly Kakashi was behind you, hugging you tightly.
“Darling , what is it with you today?” you chuckled softly.
“I just need you so much.”
“We can do whatever you want tomorrow. I'm so tired today.”
You reached for the closet before Kakashi could stop you, you opened it.
“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.” you screamed looking at the tiny little kitty.
“Meow.” the kitty purred. You clumsily walked towards you and sat in front of you.
“Kakashi, I'm going to kill you.” you said. “What do you think about bringing a cat home without my permission? This is the 13th time this week.if you keep doing this we will have no space to live in this household. Already our guest room is full of dogs and cats.where will we keep this?”
“Oofff” kakashi shrugged.
“You are sleeping outside today.”
You picked the cat in your hand and kicked Kakashi out of the room.
“The kitty…”
“He will be sleeping super comfy on the bed tonight. You don't have to worry.”
“Won't you be, my kitty kitty?” you said changing your voice.
“My kitty kitty?”
You closed the bedroom. You changed your clothes and climbed to the bed. The cat was already asleep.
—------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
An hour passed and you couldn't sleep without your husband beside you. You went out of the room. Kakashi was deep asleep on the couch. You slowly climbed on him without waking him up. He unconsciously adjusted his position and wrapped his arms around him. You kissed his chest and laid your head on him.
“Couldn't sleep without me, y/n?” Kakashi whispered.
“Shut up, I'm still mad.”
He chuckled.
“Meow.”
You both looked down to find the cat standing beside the sofa.kakashi picked him up and placed him on top of you.
You all fell into a comfortable sleep cuddled up with each other.

Just the thought of Naruto talking about his and Kakashi’s lives to the Hatake wrecks me. Like what if they ask why he smells like an unfamiliar Hatake, one that’s older and clearly mature. Not the pups he’s been surrounded by near constantly since he rescued them.
So then he’d have to explain that he had a Hatake sensei that never met his clan with a father that was rejected by his chosen teammates (they all know what that meant. No Hatake was built to survive that kind of loss) before he could teach him much about them. And that oh yeah he’s dead now and you all remind me of him so if any of you start wearing masks I’ll cry rn.
And his isolation as a kid!!! I make myself so sad sometimes.
The fox leans against a tree, watching the cubs wrestling in the grass with soft, sad eyes and a smile that practically dropped with love and pain.
“You never told us why you smell like pack,” The temporary clan head until one of those cubs was old enough to take the positions asked, leaning back against the bark of a nearby tree to not startle the fox.
A blond head thunked back against their own tree, and the fox hummed.
“I knew a Hatake… distant enough that he thought he was the only one left.” A surprised blink from the clan head, but the little fox pressed on “He was… he had been alone from a young age. With all of the instincts and no idea as to why he had them. I… he was my sensei. My Kashi-nii. I…”
A snort, full of loss and so much pain. For a second he wanted to reach out, to stop the fox before they could tear this wound open even further, but before he could they flashed those fangs (so similar to a Hatake yet so different) in a sad smile. “I owe it to him to make sure his clan thrives, ‘attebayo.”
A high thready whine escaped him before he could stop it making the cubs freeze in their wrestling and look at him with sir and grass covering nearly every inch of them. He would have been embarrassed if he could smell the agony leaking off of the little fox. A moment later he had pushed off of his own tree and was folding the stunned little fox into a hug.
“You’re pack too now, Naruto. We stick together.”
He should have expected the little fox to crumble against him with a high keen. He did expect the three little bodies that collided with them a second later all little hands patting every inch of their mother they could reach to try and sooth them.

pickup lines worked (;
Tumblr media
You: practicing various flirting lines in your room "Hey, Kashi. Are you a magician? Because whenever I look at you, everyone else disappears."
Kakashi: quietly listening from the doorway, cheeks turning pink
You: continuing "Or how about this one? If kisses were snowflakes, I'd send you a blizzard."
Kakashi: blushing more, but smiling to himself
You: trying another "Are you a camera? Because every time I look at you, I smile."
Kakashi: feeling flustered but enjoying the attention
You: noticing him finally "Oh, Kakashi! You heard all that?"
Kakashi: nodding sheepishly "Yeah, sorry. I couldn't help but listen. Those were… quite impressive."
You: blushing "I was just practicing. I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable."
Kakashi: smiling "Not uncomfortable, just pleasantly surprised."
You: smiling back "Well, consider it a sneak peek of what's to come."

Ok guys, I need to talk to you about something!
Last year or so I had an idea for a time-travel fic with Kakasaku as the main pairing. I think this will sound familiar to some if you are or were on the Kakasaku discord because at the time I shared snippets and little teasers about this fic.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is the first time I've written for this pairing. Although I adore them and consume a lot of Kakasaku fics, I've never written for them. Those who know my work will know that I write mainly Itasaku, Shisaku and occasionally Sasusaku.
The project is still in progress, albeit on hold, however, as I don't know when I'll be able to release this story, I first wanted to contextualize the idea and tell you a bit about it quickly and thus see if it's worth continuing to work on this fic in the future.
I was hoping to get some feedback, to see how the idea might be received. Although we writers write primarily for ourselves, I still find it interesting to have the opinion of my readers or future readers. If they like the idea, it's obvious that working on the story is all the more motivating, you know? And since it's my first time writing Kakasaku, I'm feeling a bit nervous.
So here's the general idea :
«  Kakashi and Sakura found themselves back in their younger selves for some reason. The Kakashi and Sakura of the future are in an established relationship so imagine their horror when they realize where they are.
To keep up appearances, Sakura plays Sasuke's fangirls (albeit a little more moderately) and Kakashi scowls and rolls his eyes at every "sasuke-kun, you're soooo sTrOnG. Sasuke-kun is so cuuuuute, isn't he kakashi-sEnsEi?" and he's like "adorable." but with a deadpan face, you know? It just amuses Sakura to be able to annoy Kakashi because in their future lives, he likes to annoy her and miss a few of his medical appointments so it's a kind of payback.
And of course there's the fact that they won't have their daily routines as long as they're stuck in their current bodies. Well, especially for Sakura, because although Kakashi is a notorious pervert and a kinky person, doing anything while she looks like a 12-year-old is off-limits to him, and what's even more frustrating is that of course he still loves her since it's Sakura's mind that's in her 12-year-old body. But to be honest, Sakura agrees that she's just as frustrated, and can't see herself engaging in lewd activities in her pre-teen body.
And what's worse, she's experiencing her first period for the second time. Much to Kakashi's amusement.🐺🌸 »
Tumblr media
To conclude, here are two questions I was asked about this fic and my answer:
Q: “But of course they slip every now and then? Like hand holding. Or Kakashi putting a hand around her waist out of reflex. Or not patting her head but her cheek (for being *so cheeky*) and it raises some brows.”
A: “Oh totally! And when he realizes it, he's panicked, like: "Minor, minor, illegal. Off limits. Prison. 12 years. take your hand off." and Sakura's kind of annoyed that she can't have her good-night kiss. Especially since she's living with her parents at 12. Sometimes Sakura even forgets the "sensei" when she addresses kakashi, which frankly, coming from Sasuke, would be fine in the sense that he's so casual, but Sakura? Sweet, rule-abiding Sakura? Naaah. Especially if she calls him "Kashi"”
Q: “Would they try to change things you think!?”
A: “Well, at first, I think they'll be trying to find a way back home. They're so confused about being here, they think it's a bad idea. Not to mention that it's really no fun for Sakura to be a 12-year-old when her man could be arrested and thrown in jail if they're caught while he's having one of those slips. Like touching her in a very familiar and intimate way that goes beyond the teacher/student relationship.
You also have to bear in mind that they are in a period of peace in their own timeline. After fighting, suffering and losing comrades and friends, in the 4GNW, they've earned a well-deserved peace.
But if they get stuck for a while, I think Sakura will come up with the idea. Kakashi will be much more cautious. It's not that he's completely reticent, but he's been through so much that he fears the changes they might make could lead to results far worse than those of their original timeline.
So Sakura would have to warm him up to the idea, but ultimately I think he knows it might be worth the risk if it means avoiding tragic events. When you know so much about the future, it's dangerous, but knowing what's going to happen and letting it happen is perhaps worse. Some things are inevitable, some deaths too, and Sakura will probably blame herself. Kakashi will have more perspective on the situation. But they'll be relying on each other; all the while trying to make their relationship work; which is going to be complicated given the age that currently separates them. But knowing Sakura and her fierce love for her loved ones, she won't let Kakashi run away or question their relationship. After all, it's not their timeline. And they'll find a way to get back together.”

Hello,
I love your writing style, and I would like to propose a writing idea of Kakashi x civilian reader. I dont know how requests work but here we go. :)
The civilian is a doctor in psychology, specialised in childhood traumas. She is a foreigner, came in to practice in Konoha, and opened her own practice. She is beautiful and intelligent, and would make any men fall in love with her, including our beloved Kashi. However,he was sooo shy to talk with her and would get nervous in her presence. He might experience love, a feeling strange to him. Sakura, works as her assistant and is fascinated by her knowledge and she sensed that Kashi is interested in her so she acted as the cupid to get them together👀💃🏼
My inspiration for the reader comes from 'Dr. Shanon Curry from Johnny Depps trial lol :))'
Thank youu🙇🏼‍♀️🙇🏼‍♀️🙏
Thank you so much for requesting! You are my first request, so I hope that I am doing this right :) I tried to make the reader as close to Dr. Curry as I could, based on the snippets I watched of her during the trial (Honestly, I'm not sure though if I got her personality down). I hope that's still okay! Since you didn't specify a time period, I just assumed that this takes place after the war. Enjoy!
Cupid's Arrow
Hatake Kakashi x fem&civilian!Reader
Word Count: 6,6k
Ao3
Summary: Kakashi can’t help but fall for Konoha’s new childhood trauma specialist and lucky for him, Sakura decides that it is time to play cupid for her sensei and new mentor.
Tumblr media
Haruno Sakura was not stupid. No matter how often Ino-pig may have jokingly said that in the pinkette’s presence (and never meant it seriously, she knew as much about their ‘rivalry’), Sakura harbored more intelligence than the majority her peers did. Ever since she began her training under the Godaime Hokage and one of the Legendary Sannin, Senju Tsunade, she had become even more aware that her intelligence was not to be looked down upon. However, that aspect of herself was not what she was the proudest of, rather, it was the emotional intelligence she possessed that brought her the most pride.
While Haruno Sakura was undeniably brilliant, she was also very intuitive for her age. If she had to speculate now where her understanding of others and their feelings had come from, Sakura would first think back to when she had begun working in the Konoha hospital. Within the building with blindingly white walls, understanding how her patients felt was one of her priorities. While they sometimes wouldn’t speak, if they were especially proud and defiant, Sakura always had to know how she should treat the person who saught her out. That meant analyzing everyone down to their tiniest reactions and movement of a muscle.
It had come as no surprise to her that she had the one to been the first to notice their sensei’s unusual behavior. After seven years (and counting) of knowing Hatake Kakashi, Sakura liked to believe that she knew a lot about the man, or at least more than many others did. A majority of the time, he was a walking enigma. With his aloof personality and admirable intellect, the black piece of fabric that kept the lower half of his face hidden from the world, and his drive to succeed, Kakashi was sometimes unreadable, a blank piece of paper per se. Sakura assumed this stemmed from his time in the Anbu, one he had only talked about on the rarest of occasions.
When you had come along, her sensei’s behavior changed drastically. Suddenly, he became readable. Of all things happening, Sakura had not seen such a change coming along. Finding the source of the change had been easy enough as she only had to look for the center of Kakashi’s change in behavior, you.
(To say that a woman of all reasons caused his sudden change surprised Sakura deeply. Besides Hanare, she was pretty sure that she had never seen her sensei talk to a woman if it wasn’t for the sake of the mission.)
That meant in short: her sensei was inexperienced and based on his behavior around you, also both emotionally and socially constipated.
To get him to talk to you for more than a few meek minutes and without stumbling over every other word would be a challenge, so Sakura knew from the moment she saw her sensei practically drool at the sight of you. How he could aid in the winning of a war against a revived man but not talk to a woman, she did not know. Luckily for him, Sakura had assigned herself the position of the cupid that would bring two of her mentors together and hopefully, have them dating in at least a few weeks.
Sakura could understand why her sensei had fallen for you of all people. Undeniably, you, her current mentor and the new psychologist in Konoha were a true sight to behold. Standing at (height), one would think that you would blend in with the civilian population. Yet, with your (h/c) hair and (e/c) eyes, you instead stood out in the crowds of many. Beautiful and intelligent, that was how Sakura would describe you. It was no wonder her sensei metaphorically lay at your feet, as other men also did.
That gave Sakura more the reason to get you together with Kakashi.
In your life, you needed someone genuine and someone who supported you and your career. From the many talks the two of you had shared during lunch break over a cup of coffee, Sakura was well aware of the fact that finding a suitable partner did not come easy to you. One would think that with men at your feet, you had free choice.
You were a brilliant woman who was in search of a just as brilliant man. She knew that you were looking for someone who matched your intellect, someone with whom you could talk about just anything and could hold intelligent conversations. At the same time, you were also quite the hopeless romantic she noticed. You wanted someone who would love you for who you were, not merely and primarily for your appearance. Luckily for you, Sakura would (again) assign herself to be the cupid that would bring you into a relationship that will make you happy.
Undoubtedly, in Sakura’s mind the two of you, Kakashi and (Name) would be a perfect match. That was if her plan succeeded.
Tumblr media
Kakashi felt weird. Unlike when he got sick (a number of times he could count on both of his hands) or got injured on a mission and received a countless amount of wounds all over his body, the feeling he felt now was not unpleasant. Rather, it was the complete opposite of the word. For reasons unknown to him, it felt like there were butterflies roaming around in his stomach.
Despite combing through an obscene amount of medical books, Kakashi could not figure out on his own what exactly was wrong with him. Kakashi would consider himself to be well-versed in many subjects, but medicine was not one he could consider being on that list. There were reasons why Sakura was the one to patch him up after rough missions.
The easiest solution to his persistent problem was to book an appointment with the doctor and explain his problem to a medical professional who would most likely know what to do. Alternatively, he could also ask for Sakura to listen to him and have his overly intuitive students help him. For a few minutes when he felt especially desperate, he had considered both options. In the end, he ended up dropping both of them, considering the prospect to be too mortifying for him.
That meant that now Kakashi was stuck with his stomach feeling weird every time he saw you. It must be a freaky coincidence, of that he was sure. When he was around you, his heartbeat suddenly spiked and his cheeks became warmer, turning a shade of pink underneath the mask he always wore. His most mortifying case of whatever sickness he suffered from had been during a coincidental meeting. You had stepped closer to him, your breath fanning over his mask as you reached out with your hand to rest it over his forehead, staring at him with furrowed brows.
With the most melodic voice, he had ever speak to him you asked, “Are you sick, Kakashi-san?” Your voice sounded like the lullaby he had always yearned to her and one he could hear forever without getting sick of it. Merely the way you stood in front of him had him breathless.
Frantically, Kakashi shook his head. He could not find it within himself to reply verbally, his tongue feeling tied.
You hummed in response, lifting your hand from his forehead to feel your own before returning to rest on his again. “Are you sure that you are okay, you feel a little warm. Maybe you should get that checked out?”
Undeniably, you were a very intelligent woman with an intuition that could barely be matched (according to Sakura’s tellings), but were somehow oblivious to how his thought circuited in your presence. Wasn’t it obvious that he did not feel well? When you touched him, his hands felt sweatier than they did before and his mind turned dizzy.
Most likely due to some illness I caught, Kakashi mused in his thoughts. On the last mission, Tsunade-sama sent me on I must have caught something, probably. That must be it. Maybe body heat triggers it?
If Kakashi’s last assumption was correct (spoiler: it was not), then removing himself from your presence would be the only solution to his problem. Maybe then his body would calm down from the sudden increase in temperature and as a result, he would feel much better again.
To him, it sounded completely plausible in the literal heat of the moment.
Kakashi cleared his throat, taking a step backward from your prying hands. “I-I must apol-logize, (Name)-san. But I still ha-have business elsewhere for t-the day.”
You made him so nervous that he began stuttering and Kakashi could confidently say that he never stuttered … unless he spoke around you. In your presence, it felt like every nerve in his body was lit ablaze, making his skin tingle with your every delicate touch. The effect you had on him undeniable and at the same time, one he had to get away from to keep his dignity.
When you lowered your hand, you almost looked disappointed, but Kakashi was sure that he was imagining that. You had no reason to be disappointed, right?
“Oh, I didn’t mean to take up your time. I’ll get out of your way then.” You said, your voice now missing its previous lull. With your head held high, you rushed past the silver-haired man and disappeared into the growing crowd, nowhere to be found.
Kakashi looked after your retreating figure and held his hand as though to reach for you. Though, when he realized what he was doing, he quickly lowered it again. For an, to him, unexplicable reason, the funny feeling in his stomach subdued once he completely lost sight of your figure. More so, his stomach felt uncomfortably empty and not at all as it did before he saw you. At the same time, he felt bad for lying to you to end the conversation between the two of you. You had looked so excited to talk to him, after all.
With his head hung lower than it did before your coincidental meeting, Kakashi continued his way into the opposite direction of where you went, his mind completely occupied by thoughts of only you.

Sakura had a clear mission and it was not given to her by the Hokage. It felt a little wrong to consider her doings a ‘mission’, but there was not a better word for her current doings: playing cupid. In her mind, she even had already begun to hatch out a mission plan, consisting of a total of four steps that had to be completed as smoothly as possible.
Mission Cupid’s Arrow (to be completed)
Figure out how Kakashi-sensei feels for (Name)-san.(Note: he won’t say it outright, read his body language).
Talk about Kakashi-sensei with (Name)-san, if needed, read her body language.
Following the completion of the previous steps, make plans to set them up on a date.
Kiss kiss kiss!!!
Not that she would ever reveal the existence of the plan to anyone or ever mention it, but Sakura felt quite proud of how she put her mind to the problem she presented herself with.
Luckily for her, completing the first of the four steps had not been easy. It came without much thought that Kakashi-sensei was a difficult target when it came to topics such as feelings, relationships, and similar. Already when she was a Genin, he had been clueless about what to tell her when it came to her crush on Sasuke and preferred to stay out of her love life. It was no wonder to Sakura that he didn’t have an idea of how to lead his own.
Sakura began her mission by inviting her sensei out for a bowl of ramen, ‘to celebrate’, that was how she had put it when he asked her why.
“Celebrate what?” Kakashi had asked, his growing confusion evident.
She let out a faux thoughtful noise, leaning back on her heels as she spoke, “Oh, you know. A lot has happened since the war ended. You are going to be Hokage soon, I’m an assistant now. It would be nice to celebrate that.”
Sadly enough, Kakashi did not buy her explanation that easily. With a raised eyebrow he asked, “Why didn’t you ask Naruto or Sai to come along?”
Bingo. The man just played himself, she thought.
“Because Naruto eats my earned money faster out of my pocket than I earned it.”
The excuse was believable since it really was true. Faintly, she could remember the last time Team Seven had gone out to eat some ramen and how Kakashi had convinced poor Yamato to pay for all of them. While Sai held himself back and eased Yamato’s incoming pain, Naruto meanwhile had taken it as a chance to go all out. Out of Yamato’s mistake, they had all learned.
Kakashi chuckled. “Fair enough.”
That was not when her first step had ended, however. Next, she needed to figure out as much about her sensei’s state of mind toward you as she possibly could, preferably without sending him running before she got enough information.
(Quite frankly, Kakashi was the master in disappearing without a trace. One moment he would be sitting beside her, somehow making his ramen magically vanish without her seeing, and the next the chair beside her would be empty as would be the bowl. By then, he would also have paid for his and her meal, which she always found quite thoughtful.)
If necessary, Sakura was ready to trap the man somewhere to have her mission succeed. She only had his happiness (and also yours) in mind, both of you deserved it in her opinion. Sakura hoped that with each other, you two could find it.
Sakura stirred her chopsticks mindlessly in her ramen, putting on a thoughtful expression before letting out a loud sigh. It immediately caught Kakashi’s attention, who gave her a questioning look.
“Say, sensei, what do you think is the most important thing in a relationship?” As soon as she saw the silver-haired man startle, she backtracked a little. “I mean, with everyone beginning to date, I’ve just been wondering what I am looking for and … I don’t know.”
Kakashi hesitated in his reply, “Are you talking about Sasuke?”
The topic of Sasuke was a delicate one to breach, especially for Sakura. It was why she sucked in a breath at the mere mention of the last Uchiha’s name. While that reaction came in subconsciously and not on purpose at all, it brought the conversation along.
Her sensei cleared his throat, the discomfort between them slowly growing. “I don’t know what to tell you Sakura …” He easily trailed off, pinching his nose.
His frustration was rolling off of him in waves and that was the moment Sakura had to strike. “Sensei, just be honest with me. Please.”
“Trust. I think that trust is an important thing. You have to be there for the other person and believe in them unconditionally. Trust them to …” ‘not leave you’. The words hung in the air, he did not even need to speak them. “You have to be honest with each other, about what you want and who you are, communicate. To be in a relationship means to be able to rely on each other and be there for one another. That is what matters.”
Time to be honest, Sakura did not think that her sensei had it in him to speak such words. In a sense, they did not only aid her with her secret mission but also struck a certain chord within her, so she wouldn’t forget what he said. Unsurprisingly, he was right with what he was saying.
(At the same time, Sakura couldn’t help but wonder if his addiction of Icha Icha influenced his ideals. It was a possibility.)
Sakura smiled at the man, knowing what it took for him to actually talk about his feelings, especially when it came to things like romance. “Thank you, sensei. This means a lot to me.”
Awkwardly, he rubbed the back of his head and smiled with his eyes closed.
For a moment, Sakura smiled brightly at her sensei, delighted that her mission was going well. That was at least until her green eyes fixated on the now-empty bowl that sat in front of her sensei. “You finished eating already?!” She screeched out.
“I did,” Kakashi confirmed with a regained nonchalance. “Why do you look so surprised, Sakura?”
No matter how much she planned ahead and thought that she was ahead of him, Kakashi always beat her by several steps.
“Huh?!”
Sakura couldn’t believe it! Underneath the table, she clenched her fists together to keep the quiet ‘Cha!’ from pushing past her lips. The pinkette would not give in that easily, she would not be defeated by a man over a decade her senior, who was so socially inept. It’d be ridiculous if he could just-
-with a poof, Kakashi disappeared from right beside her and Sakura could only stare in disbelief, her mouth falling open in shock.
“That bastard!” And with that, Sakura slammed her hand onto the table.
Little did Sakura know that the real challenge was yet to come.
You in comparison to her sensei were an absolute nightmare to figure out. Sakura should have expected it (really, she should have) that a psychologist was not an easy person to either read or figure out without the person willingly revealing information about themselves. Your profession was literally focused on knowing others' emotions and controlling your own, so it was no wonder that the questions Sakura thought were sly weren’t so sly at all.
She should have seen it coming, but stupidly enough, she didn’t. When she had asked you more non-work-related questions, it should have been obvious to her that you would become suspicious at the sudden onslaught.
“What’s this about all of a sudden?” You laughed, practically looking right into Sakura's soul. She knew that she was being watched carefully. “What’s with all the questions?”
Sakura had been able to shake you off of her trail, somehow. She herself was rather unsure of how she had managed to stop the reverse psychology and your onslaught of questions, but somehow she did. However, it was more likely that you let her off of the hook.
Unfortunately for you, that made Sakura even more determined to find a crack in your professional mindset, no matter how long it would take for her plan to succeed. She was not one to give up easily, after all.
Tumblr media
Something was on Sakura’s mind, that much was obvious to you. Throughout the few hours that the two of you had been working together, it was obvious that the girl’s thoughts were somewhere beyond work. If she had a pencil in her hand, she would mindlessly drum it against the clipboard that she held in her other hand. When you asked her to write something down for you, whether it was reminders of lessons you two had to go over again or appointments you had to check, Sakura would make more spelling mistakes than she ever did before.
For some reason, your favorite (and only) assistant was distracted and you were determined to get to the bottom of it. The right time to do so would be the upcoming lunch break for the two of you, something you had been looking forward to since your third appointment of the day.
Your last patient before lunch break was a young boy of ten years. It broke your heart time and time again to see the young children come to your, to have their parent(s) or caretakers drop them off at your practice, and pick them up again later. No child of any age should be recquired to see a trauma specialist.
When the Fourth Shinobi War rolled around, everything had changed from one to another. Back in your homeland in Sunagakure, you did not have many patients to attend to. Due to the vast population of the smallest of the five Kage villages, your amount of patients was minuscule in comparison to the influx you were experiencing in Konoha. Save for the attack of Akatsuki years back and the murder of your Kazekage, there had not been much that drove patients into your practice, especially not young ones.
Following the end of the war, you had decided to take your practice elsewhere. It had been a suggestion of your young Kazekage, a charming boy by the name of Gaara, whose psychologist you had been for a short duration of his childhood. To strengthen the connection between the two villages, medical professionals of all kinds were sent to different villages to keep the exchange of information constant.
Whether it was a stroke of luck or else for you to be chosen, you could not exactly tell. The whispers following the selection had not been hushed. Conversations of nepotism and favoritism had reached your ears before you left, making you even more eager for your departure.
And now, now you were here in Konoha with an assistant who was obviously distracted. You could understand why that was the case. The profession of your and now also Sakura’s choosing carried many burdens with it, but you chose to bear the weight on your shoulders for the sake of others. No matter how heavy, you couldn’t just give in to it. The children needed you, after all. You couldn’t let them down, that wouldn’t align with your conscious. That was also why you needed Sakura at her full concentration, to avoid you in your mission to hopefully help these children.
Since lunch break rolled around, you decided that it would be the perfect time to have a conversation about what was bothering the pinkette.
Watching your assistant, you let out a small sigh and leaned back in your chair, crossing your arms over your chest. “What’s on your mind, Sakura-chan?”
She did not answer immediately and instead bit her lip, falling into deeper thought. You were pretty sure that she did not even hear you speak, never mind asking her a question.
“Sakura?”
In her seat, Sakura was visibly startled by your voice. “Oh! Sorry (Name)-san, I didn’t mean to get distracted.”
Another thing you liked about her was her good manners. She was always one to apologize for something that could happen to anyone, you found that to be quite endearing.
You let out a laugh, shaking your head at the dazzled expression your assistant wore. “Don’t worry too much about it, Sakura-chan. We all get a little distracted sometimes. Now tell me, what’s on your mind that bugs you so much?”
Sakura let out a groan, tilting her head back in a gesture of annoyance. “Was I that noticeable?”
You pretended to think about it before replying, “Yes. Couldn’t even not see that if I tried.”
She let out yet another groan and buried her face in her hands, obviously embarrassed.
You went to comfort her by placing a hand on her shoulder, squeezing it once softly with a reassuring smile. “It happens to the best of us,” You laughed, faintly remembering doing the same as her. “but seriously, what’s got you so unfocused? This isn’t like you.”
Sakura took a deep breath and removed her face from her hand, sitting up straight in her seat again. It was now or never. She did not even have to will a flush to her cheeks as it came along with her embarrassment about being caught slacking.
“Well, (Name)-san, I was just, uh, thinking about … whatitwouldbeliketobeinarelationship.”
Confused, you blinked at her. “Can you repeat that? I don’t think I understood.”
“I said that I was thinking about whatitwouldbeliketobeinarelationship.”
Now it was getting a tad bit ridiculous.
“Sakura. Focus.”
“Right, sorry,” Again, Sakura straightened in her seat. She rubbed her neck, obviously embaressed. “It’s a bit embarrassing … during work, I know I shouldn’t think about non-work-related things, but (Name)-san, I just- I couldn’t help but think about what it would be like to be in a relationship.”
That was random, you thought.
“Oh?” You were unsure of what to say. “Is it about that boy … what was his name again? Sasuke, right?”
You could see Sakura visibly cringe at the name and draw in a sharp breath before nodding. “Yes.”
There wasn’t a lot that you knew about the last of the Uchiha, Sasuke, but what you knew was enough. He was a boy your young assistant had a crush on since an early age (the academy, you believe) and someone she held close to her heart. About him, she had told you a few things and hesitated time and time again to speak his name aloud, only referring to him by his pronouns. It was evident that she had a difficult time dealing with his departure.
“I was just thinking about if one day, I might find someone to love, someone who loves me and be in a relationship. It’s a silly thought, I should focus on other things but I just can’t help it,” Sakura let out a laugh, one that sounded more self-loathing than anything else. Then, she looked straight at you. “What about you (Name)-san, do you have someone?”
“No,” You told her. “I don’t.”
“No offense, (Name)-san. But why is that?” Sakura asked, brows furrowed. “You are very beautiful and many others would agree with that. You must have many men practically laying at your feet.”
You found the fact that you had no significant life partner to be rather disappointing, maddening even. It wasn’t that you weren’t aware of the fact that there was an effect you had on men, because you were. You knew that you were a desirable woman, based on the fact that countless men had asked you out on dates already.
“I haven’t found the one for me yet.” You answered truthfully as you found no need to lie to her.
“‘The one’, who would be that for you?”
“A genuine man,” That is who you were looking for, your ideal partner. “Someone who looks past my appearance and puts in some effort to go on a date with me and that not to brag about it later to his friends. Someone trustworthy, someone honest, and someone I could talk to freely, without having to dumb myself done as we talk.”
The minuscule smirk tugging at Sakura’s lips confused you greatly, yet you let it slide, thinking that maybe you confused it with a smile. “You will find someone like that, don’t worry too much, (Name)-san.” Confidence in her words practically oozed off of them.
She made you wonder … “And how can you be so sure of that, Sakura-chan?”
Sakura grinned at you. “There are plenty of men that fit your description!”
“Such as …?” Admittedly, during your description, there was one man you could think of who matched it, who was a carbon copy of it, and yet you would not dare to utter his name in her presence. It was like wishful thinking to fantasize about a man such as him, to think of him as a suitor while he was practically untouchable for someone like you. A war hero and a psychologist were not on the same level, not even in the same field, and yet …
“My sensei Kakashi, for example!”
Your eyes widened drastically to resemble the ones of a doe. How did she hit the nail right on the head?
“Excuse me?!” You blurted out, panic invading your way of speaking. Your cheeks took on a light dusting of color, feeling warmer than they did before your conversation.
“You look flustered, (Name)-san,” Sakura leaned closer to you with a teasing smirk playing on her lips. “Is something the matter?”
You swallowed harshly to control your emotions. She was right, you really were flustered and you had to get yourself back under your own control. A few breaths later and you did not feel as light-headed anymore and leaned back in your chair to distance yourself from the noise pinkette.
Now was your time to strike back against her. “The thing that is the matter is that my lovely assistant is spending her time finding potential suitors for me instead of learning.”
That seemed to do the job as Sakura froze in her position, the smirk falling off of her pretty lips.
It was your time to be the one smirking. Quickly, you glanced over at the clock hanging in the doorway, almost signaling the end of your shared lunch break. “I liked the talk we had, really, I did, Sakura-chan. Now, however, it is time for us to resume our work.” You stood up and packed your bento lunch up, making sure not to leave anything behind.
With a heavy sigh and growling stomach, Sakura hurried after you.
Tumblr media
Despite the horrendous turns her conversations with the two of you took, Sakura’s plan was perfectly set into motion. Not only did she manage to gather information about the two of you, but was now also able to judge whether you two would fit together or not. Intuitively, she came to the conclusion that her two mentors would do another well and be a good match, they just hadn’t realized that yet. That was what she was there for.
It was time to initiate step three of her ultra-secret mission.
“Come on, (Name)-san!” Sakura practically whined as she stood before you. “How can you just say ‘no’ to me?”
You had crossed your arms over your chest and looked at your assistant with a raised brow. “Easy as that: no.”
Sakura’s whining came to a sudden stop and she deadpanned, “Really?”
Admittedly, she had underestimated not only you but also your iron will deeply. Because of her miscalculation when it came to you, her plan was about to crumble right before her eyes if she could not stop that from happening.
“Listen, Sakura-chan, I appreciate the invite to go out to dinner together, but I must decline. How are you so sure that I do not have plans for myself this evening?”
The only thing that saved her right now was her crystal clear of a conversation you two had last week. “Because last week you said that this week you don’t have any plans and will only relax during your free time.”
Your mouth opened and your lips formed to imitate the letter o as you stared at her, saying nothing. A few times, you blinked, as though you were remembering the same thing she was remembering. Then, you lifted your hands in mock defeat.
“Alright, you got me,” You sighed and admitted with reluctance, “I’m not busy tonight.”
Excitedly, Sakura clapped her hands together. “Great! Congratulations, (Name)-san, I’ll make sure you are busy tonight, then.”
While trying to convince you, Sakura came to realize that you and her sensei had a few similar mannerisms, such as persistent doubt when it came to her intent.
“Again? But you have just invited me to dinner last week?” Kakashi asked, standing before her almost as a mirror image as you did an hour before.
If everything worked as intended, Sakura either created the best match ever (take that, Ino-pig!) or a double-edged sword.
“And?”
“And what?”
“What’s so bad about that?”
“You cannot buy me dinner every week, Sakura. It’s a bit much.”
“Can’t I spend some time with my sensei?” Sakura could see that he was becoming suspicious of her and that was not a good sign, not at all.
Kakashi appeared to be thinking carefully about his next words and that made her quite nervous. The feeling that welled up in Sakura was beyond nerve-wrecking.
“Sakura, I appreciate your kindness, but-”
She would not let him ruin her plans. “-What’s keeping you from just agreeing?”
He made an unintelligible sound from the back of his throat.
“Seriously, sensei, I know you aren’t required to do so, but when do you ever spend time with us? In a few months, you are going to be Hokage and then probably too busy to see anyone of us …” While on one hand Sakura really did want to spend some time with her old team again, almost all of them together if possible, on the other hand, she also wanted for both of you to be happy. So, she had to bare out her feelings and push them aside all at once.
“Sakura …” He was at a loss for words.
“Please?”
Underneath his mask, Kakashi bit his lip in thought before letting out a sigh. “Alright, but just this once.”
Sakura could not be happier.
Guilt was gnawing at Kakashi. His student’s words rang true because he did indeed not spend much time with them, especially following the end of the war. There had simply been too much for all of them to do, individual missions, the occasional life-threatening occurrence, and his training to become the next Hokage of Konohagakure.
There was no better time than now, he supposed.
Sakura had told him to meet her at seven pm at Ichiraku and for the first time in forever, Kakashi put in an effort to only be fashionably late instead of leaving his students to wait for over an hour. Just this once, he could do them the favor (but only once, they should not get their hopes up, it will not happen another time).
Up ahead illuminated the lights of Ichiraku ramen a figure, one who was tapping her foot against the ground and stood with her hands on her hips, appearing angered even from a distance. Upon coming closer, Kakashi could make out more of the woman’s features, among which were a familiar combination of bubblegum pink hair and green eyes and the angry scowl Sakura wore time and time again when he had been late. With an angry finger, she pointed at him and beckoned over.
(He would never say it aloud, but sometimes his only female student scared him to death. Sakura had an aura similar to that of her mentor, Tsunade, and one that had him internally cowering in fear. That was exactly why he quickened his pace to an extent that it would not be too noticeable.)
“You’re late,” This Was the first thing that Sakura said to him when he stopped before her. Her anger was obvious and so was the tension in her jaw. “but lucky for you, I expected you to be, so our guest did not have to wait for long.”
Our guest? Kakashi could only tilt his head in confusion, the gears in his mind turning in search for a detail he might have missed. Yet, he could not remember the information that seemed to have gone past his head.
The curtain protecting the privacy of those who dined in Ichirakus was pulled open and Kakashi swore that he could hear his heart stop. There was you, in person, sharing the same air as him.
In the most melodic voice, you addressed your assistant. “Sakura, who are you talking to- oh.” Then, you spotted him and your eyes widened.
Kakashi was pretty sure that time seemed to slow down to almost no movement in your presence. In the light of the streetlamps, you looked like an angel sent from the heavens above, an ethereal figure stemming from the myths of the gods. You were the most beautiful woman to have walked earth, he decided right then and there. Only his mask could hide his dazzled expression and the rising flush of his cheeks.
When you stepped closer, his last brain cell evaporated. “Kakashi-san? Are you alright? You look a bit pale.” The way you titled your head to look at him had him fixated and stole away his breath.
“I-I’m f-fine.” He managed to stutter out, too lost in your e/c staring at him to focus properly. Inwardly, he let out a groan at how the situation was turning out for him.
Immediately upon hearing that, a smile graced your angelic features as you looked at him. “I’m glad to hear that, Kakashi-san,” Then you turned on your heel with a glare sitting on your face to scold a certain pinkette. “Now let’s get to you, Sakura-chan. What do you think are you doing?”
At the tone, you used with her (reminiscent of the one of a scolding mother), Kakashi would have thought that by now your shared student would cower away in fear or at least show some regret, but instead, Sakura smirked of all things.
“Quite frankly, both of you are helpless when it comes to love and kami, I can’t keep watching you squirm around. It’s so obvious that the two of you are made for each other and fit well together and what do you do? You squirm around one another, seriously? I refuse to let this go on any longer and watch you two waste the opportunities you can have now! So stop acting like love-sick teenagers and man up and go on a date!”
Both Kakashi and yourself suddenly felt as though you were ablaze at the mention of the last word, both of you unsure of what to say.
Sakura decided to deliever the last blow she had in her arsenal. “No offence, Kakashi-sensei, (Name)-san, but it was getting really sad watching you two. I just had to do something. I hope neither of you will haunt me forever for this. See you tomorrow! Enjoy your date!” Before either of you could get a word in, the pinkette sprinted for her life as for away from you as she could, not even stopping once.
Between the two of you reigned a comfortable silence, one that you decided to break by clearing your throat. “Well, Kakashi-san, that just leaves the two of us,” You turned to face the flustered silver-haired, smiling at him so brightly. “How about we eat some ramen together since we are already here. What do you say?”
Kakashi swallowed harshly. “L-like on a d-date?”
To be reduced to such a stuttering idiot in front of you of all people was absolutely mortifying for the silver-haired Shinobi. For Kami’s sake, he was a war hero, the warrior of the Sharingan and the Copy-Cat-Nin, and yet, in front of you, he was merely Kakashi, a man who had to grow too fast. Nobody had ever made him feel like he did when with you.
While he didn’t enjoy sweets that much, your smile was the only thing sweet he would want forever in his life. “Yes. ‘Like on a date’, if that is alright with you, Kakashi-san.”
The silver-haired cleared his throat to regain his composure. “You c-can drop t-the honorific, (Name)-s-s-an.”
The giggle you let out was beyond adorable and sent a cupid’s arrow straight to his heart. “Alright then. I will, Kakashi. But I must ask of you to do the same.”
“Yes.”
With a teasing smirk, you leaned closer to him so your breath was almost fanning over his mask. “Yes, who?”
He swallowed thickly. “Yes, (Name).”
“We’re on the same page then,” With a click of your tongue, you again turned on your heel but this time not without taking the silver-haired with you. Your hand felt delicate wrapped around his as you pulled him along, right into the tranquil ramen shop. “Come on, pretty boy, let’s not waste any more time of our date.” Without a moment of hesitation, said pretty boy followed along in your steps, allowing himself to be pulled right into the shop.
(Secretly, Kakashi had always known that there was a reason why out of all of his twerps, Sakura and her metaphorical cupid’s arrow was his favorite.)

A Relaxing Evening

Kakashi let out a heavy sigh and stood from his desk. It had been none stop problems all day. Almost everything that could go wrong had, and Shikamaru refused to do all his paperwork for him, which was rude frankly. But now he was finally finished, he could finally go home, oh his back felt so stiff- “Lord Sixth!” Oh no, what is it now?
“What is it, Lee?”
“Guy-sensei wanted me to inform you that he will be unable to join you for dinner, sir!”
The older shinobi paused. Guy not coming for dinner meant one less mouth he had to feed tonight. Maybe you would be in the mood for takeout? He really didn’t feel like doing anything else today. “Ah, I assume he’s having dinner with you then?”
“Yes,” Lee replied and gave that familiar grin.
“Alright then, I hope you both have an enjoyable evening then.”
“We will do just that!” Kakashi made sure to leave the Hogake’s office before someone else had the chance to grab his attention. As much as he wanted to get home as quickly as possible, he didn’t feel like running. It was days like this he wanted nothing more than to hand the title of Hokage to his knuckleheaded student, but he knew Naruto still needed more time.
When the Hatake estate came into view the fair-haired Hokage unconsciously let out another sigh, though it was more out of relief than the exhaustion that caused the previous one. He slid the shoji open and walked inside to begin removing his shoes. “I’m home,” he called out into the house.
“Welcome home,” you called back in that chipper tone he loved. He heard your slipper-covered feet pad across the flooring as you made your way to greet him face to face. “You look like you’ve had rough day, Kashi.”
“Just exhausting,” he responded and approached you. The dark-eyed man leaned down and placed his head in the crook of your neck, he breathed your scent in and felt his shoulders slump. Your scent had always been relaxing, even before the two of you had gotten together, but now that his own was mixed in he couldn’t help but enjoy it that much more. You wrapped your arms around his upper back and began to scratch it gently.
“Why don’t you go get comfortable?”
“Want to get takeout for dinner?”
“Don’t worry about dinner,” you replied softly. “Just go relax, you’ve worked hard today, Lord Hokage.”
“Alright, I’m a bit tired of ramen though so don’t order that tonight.”
“I won’t, don’t worry. I’ll start a bath for you and when you’re finished dinner should be ready.”
Kakashi straightened himself and pressed a kiss to your forehead before heading toward your shared bedroom to undress. He didn’t bother closing the door behind him before he began to remove his uniform. Your voice, though rather quiet, began to filter through the hallway from the bathroom as you filled up the bathtub like you said you would. “Hey, Kashi,” you called out.
“Hm?” Now in only his pants, he walked toward the bathroom.
“Is Guy not coming over for dinner?”
“No, he’s eating with Lee tonight.”
“Hm, that’ll be a fun night,” you muttered before giving him a mischievous grin. “I hope you won’t have too big a mess to clean up tomorrow morning.”
“I didn’t even think about that,” he sighed, the third one of the evening. He ran a hand down his now bare face. “They’ll be fine, right?”
You giggled, a clear sound that soothed his mounting worry. “Sorry, Kashi. I didn’t mean to stress you out. I’m sure it’ll be okay,” you reassured him. After checking to make sure the bath was full and the temperature was good you stood and got on your tiptoes to peck his cheek lightly. “Enjoy your bath, I’ll come get you if you start to take too long.”
“Thank you,” he responded. You closed the door after you left the room and Kakashi pressed his lips together, he had hoped you might want to join him. Despite the slight disappointment he continued on and removed the rest of his clothing so he could take his time showering before enjoying the nice warm bath.
Once he submerged himself in the heated water, he found all his motivation to do anything at all leave his body. He slumped, completely at ease, and closed his eyes. The light-haired shinobi was unsure of how much time had passed but a strange smell began to filter into the room and startled him. It smelled an awful lot like something was burning. In fact, it almost smelled like the house had caught fire…
“Shit,” Kakashi jumped out of the tub as quickly as he could, now dripping wet he tried to run out the bathroom at his usual speed but tripped over the now slick flooring and his discarded pair pf pants. “Shit!”
The Sixth Hokage called out your name in desperation as he hastily tied a towel around his waist. He sped out the door and down the hallway toward the smell. He saw you in the kitchen, making handsigns as you stared at the now burning stove and counter set. “You cooked?! I thought you were going to order takeout!”
“I wanted to do something nice!”
“You promised not to cook again after the last time!”
“I know, but its fine! I’ll put it out,” you said hastily.
“No, wait, those handsigns,” Kakashi tried to reach you to stop you before you completed them. “Wind won’t-“
“Wind Style; Air Current!”
“No!”
He was too late, the ninjutsu hit the flames and the formerly controllable fire began to swallow the entire kitchen. You squeaked and turned away from the flash of bright light, thankfully he had reached you in time to shield you from the excess embers that the now overwhelming fire gave off. After quickly checking to make sure you had no obvious injuries Kakashi thought back to the water that was still sitting in the bathtub and began to form his own handsigns. He felt the chakra leave his body and called out, “Water Styel; Water Dragon Jutsu!”
The water dragon went flying toward the overwhelming kitchen fire, and once the water began to make contact with the flames steam began to fill the building. You curled into Kakashi’s outstretched arm as the force of the jutsu collided with not only the fire but the walls and shook the house. Once the jutsu was finished and the fire put out the two of you began to check each other over. You had a few burns on your hands, but they looked to be relatively minor while Kakashi was rather unscathed. The Hatake estate on the other hand was not.
There was a large hole in the wall where the jutsu had hit with the brunt of its strength; everything from the counter tops to fridge had been burnt. The steam began to filter out through said hole and after a beat or two you began to walk toward the now blackened stove. Kakashi watched you stare down at the pot that seemed to have melted into the appliance. You covered your hand with your mouth and the Hokage panicked. Were you going to cry? He didn’t want that.
Your shoulders shook and you finally uncovered your mouth and looked at him as you began to laugh. It was contagious, and the light-haired man began to laugh in earnest with you. “I was just trying to make miso soup,” you wheezed out. “How does soup turn into,” you gestured around wildly. “All this?”
A plank of wood fell from the hole and into the side yard. Kakashi ruffled his own hair, still wet from his shower, he wondered if he smelt like smoke. He was still smiling, as were you. “Well, your wind ninjutsu certainly didn’t help. What made you think that was a good idea?”
“I panicked,” you giggled. “My brain just turned off, before you even came out, I was standing there staring at it for a good minute and a half.”
“Well, we should probably get started on cleaning all this up,” Kakashi muttered. “We won’t be able to call a carpenter until tomorrow though.”
“Hm, I have a better idea,” you responded and walked back toward him. “We still haven’t had dinner after all.”
“What did you have in mind?” You gave him that same mischievous grin he both dreaded and loved.
-
“Go on Lee, the power of youth flows through you!”
“Yes Sensei!”
You giggled, a soft pink glow to your cheeks from the sake. Kakashi sighed, he had lost count of how much he’d sighed since the two of you joined the taijutsu pair for dinner. Lee was tipsy, Guy not too far behind, and Kakashi wished he was. “So, Lord Hokage,” you began, fluttering your long lashes in his direction.
“Hm?”
“Feeling relaxed yet,” you teased.
He grinned, “Absolutely.”
Thank you to @therantingfangirl and @justmyownreality for trying to help me come up with a name for this lol. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed it, thanks for reading!

*meeting up for lunch Ichiraku’s*
Sasuke: Where the hell is that loser?! He’s kept us waiting for five hundred years now!
Sakura: Be patient, Sasuke-kun. He had a meeting with Kakashi-Sensei about this Saturday.
Sasuke: Oh, right. That. Listen … I know that it’s been the guy’s dream since we were kids, but … don’t you worry a little, since soon he’ll ACTUALLY be Hokage?
Sakura: I’m not worried at all. He’s matured so much since we were kids. He’s ready. Besides, you know Sensei was only keeping the seat warm for him.
Sasuke, sighing: You don’t think the dobe’s too young?
Sakura: He’s 25. And I’m betting that he’s more prepared than you think. Have some faith in him. He’s not that bumbling idiot anymore.
Sasuke: I guess …
Naruto: *comes stumbling in, looking like he’s sleepwalking*
Sakura: Naruto? Over here!
Naruto: Ohhhh, sorry, dattebayo. D-didn’t see you there …
Sasuke: The hell’s the matter with you?
Naruto: K-k-kashi - sensei … he … he …
Sakura: He —?
Naruto: He said that Hokages know things about each other that no one else does, that it’s a matter of trust, and that he … he ..
Sasuke: He what?! Spit it out, dammit!
Naruto: H-he said it was time I saw his face … and he took off his mask and showed me … his face …
Sasuke:
Sakura:
Sakura: *grabs Naruto and starts shaking him* You bastard; we’ve been trying to unmask him since we were kids!  TELL US WHAT HE LOOKS LIKE DAMN YOU!!
Naruto: *passes out*
Sasuke: I fear for Konoha’s future …
