Note

Can we know more about the consorts in harem? Do they have roles? Can we get from the favorite to the least?

Very few of the harem has actual official "roles," although that's more to the nature of why they're in the harem.

On Reve (Dream)'s side his two most "favored" consorts would probably be Ink and Blue. Blue was a royal guard who had to quit due to an injury, and Ink was a child who had grown up in the castle alongside Reve. In all honesty Reve would marry either or both, but an archaic rule is that the royal family can only marry non-nobility with approval from the majority of the kingdom's noble families aaaaand they've been fighting over that for the last decade. Blue's main "job" would probably be keeping Ink out of trouble.

Tied to second would probably be Killer, Dust, Axe, and Error (whom I keep forgetting to mention because bitch get out of your tower and talk to people). Killer and Dust were friends with the current Emperors since their teenage years, and when issues handling their LV forced them to quit, Dream officially made them a part of the harem so they would have access to the best medical care in the kingdom (and because they were all quietly pining for each other.) Axe is a refugee from the famine and general disaster of the Horror Kingdom, having arrived around 8-9 years ago with his two brothers, Hōra and Vega (sibverse Horrortale variants). He helps Kumo manage the castle staff and kitchens. Error is from a tribe of similar skeletons overseas. A few years ago, foreign traders raided his area to capture monsters to sell as slaves. Error had been "gifted" to Dream to gain favor, but slavery was already made illegal by that point. With no way to return home Dream made him a consort and keeps an eye out for news of any of his missing family. He doesn't have an official duty, but he does make clothes for the Emperors and harem, when Ink isn't bothering him.

On Nox's (Nightmare) side Mari is the favorite hands down. She was gifted to the royal family as a child (when slavery was legal) and the twins' mother took a shine to her, working to free the girl and raising her as though she was being trained to be the future Empress. She assists Nox and Reve with all of the duties an Empress would fulfill, staff and event organization, dealings with nobility of the Apple kingdom, and raising the Emperors' siblings and wards (there are currently no heirs from either Emperor.) Second to her would be Swad and Killer. Swad was...well without spoilers he was a slave owned by the previous emperor that Night found after his death and fell in love with. (Harem AU Swad is closer in personality to how he behaves in the far future of sibverse due to Plot Reasons rather than the common portrayal of Swad). He is still recovering from things both magical and physical the previous Emperor did to him, and as such does not have any duties.

"Lower ranked" would be Yuki, although that's because he's a prickly bastard no matter what timeline (affectionate). Yuki fled the war in Ukiyo with his brother, Kumo, because he refused to lead a war he could clearly see Ukiyo would not win. He bartered for safety for himself and his brother with the strict requirement that neither of them be required to serve in a military. The next best thing was adding Yuki as a consort and allowing Kumo to serve as matron/head of staff (which he's very good at).

And now we have Kage and Yume on Reve's side, lol

Relationships: Karasu is very close to her senseis and uncle. She has several children with different people, never bearing them but having Orochimaru create them through combing hers and others' DNA.

Personality: Karasu is quiet, aware of her father’s and family’s legacy and afraid to be too out there. Training with Naruto, Sasuke, Killer B, and her other teammates has allowed for her to come out of her shell. She grows into a strong and confident shinobi, a trusted and feared Kage, and a perfect Jinchuriki. Karasu is a powerful force that stays quiet until she's needed to speak.

History: Karasu was a surprise to both her mother and Itachi. She was raised adjacent to the Akatsuki until after the Fourth Great Ninja War when her mother sought refuge with the Hidden Leaf village. With her Uchiha bloodline, Karasu was sought after by many when she was young, eventually being stolen away when she was five. Akatsuki loyalists placed Matatabi, the Two Tails, into her in order to control both the Biju and the young Uchiha. Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke rescued her and brought her home. She trains under Naruto and Kurma to learn how to be a Jinchuriki and spends time with Sakura taking care of baby Sadara.

Her seal is extremely complicated, levels upon levels of genjutsu, fail safes, traps, a psychological maze to keep Karasu and Matatabi from sharing Chakra easily. It's a long and arduous process to break and undo all of the seal's levels. Once the genjutsu that caused Matatabi to be abusive towards Karasu is broken, it alerts the group who stole the two in the first place.

After passing her chunin exams, Karasu approaches Orochimaru for training, much like her uncle did before her. In order to bypass the maze, Karasu is branded with a curse mark. This allows for her and Matatabi to transfer chakra freely between each other while it's activated. During this time, the group who sealed Matatabi in Karasu reappears, trying to take their weapon back. Through her own skills and allies, they're able to be defeated.

After she becomes a jonin , the seal is finally completely undone and broken, allowing for Karasu and Matatabi to become a perfect Jinchuriki.

For a few years, Karasu takes to wandering the nations, wanting to truly understand who she is.

Karasu reforms the Akatsuki, turning them into a group for protection and peace, not war and peace. They act as Team Zero for the Allied Shinobi World.

Later on, after years of leading the Akatsuki, Karasu creates her own Hidden Village, transforming the Mountain's Graveyard. The Village Hidden in the Bones within the Land of Ghosts. She stands as the Yūreikage.

Abilities: Through numerous experiments with the help of Orochimaru, Karasu is able to awaken the Rinnegan, giving her access to an enormous amount of power. She creates several of her own jutsus, combing her own abilities with Matatabi’s to create two new nature styles: Radiation and Sun. As a Kage, she is the strongest in her village of outcasts.

*hurtles in at top speed* I know I don’t talk about any of my Naruto AUs but I have a new one based off Nox!Taur verse because that’s where my brain is apparently and so while I don’t intend to work on this anytime soon at all, I need to throw this out there.

Imagine a Naruto Taur verse. Imagine the possilbities. I’m sure there’s already fanfic out there but like-

Ninja clans (with the exception of the Inuzuka) all tend to be wild animals (wolves, tigers, dingos, bears, elk, etc), while some are domestic because of genetic drift and civilian new blood most AREN’T, even if the clans can be both predator and prey species but like- most are undomesticated and need to henge their hindquarters when infiltrating places as civilians. Civilians on the other hand tend to be exclusively either domesticated animals (dogs, house cats, etc), undomesticated prey species, or very small undomesticated animals (ferrets, weasels, foxes).

Naruto as a Maned Wolf, you know the “wolf” that looks like a fox on stilts? Genes he got from his mom who was a feisty grey wolf (not going with Fox because jinchuuriki already get enough abuse and side-eyes). His’ dad’s a cheetah or a white-tailed deer or something.

Sasuke as a Cheetah which got him a lot of scornful looks as a kiddo in the Uchiha who take pride on being all “proper” big cats that can roar like lions and tigers, jaguars, leopards, and the very occasional panther (like Itachi). His mom’s was a tigress and his dad was a regular leopard.

Sakura, as the civilian, is a Quarter Horse, fast and surprisingly powerful but ... prey species and civilian. She stands out on the team (but also picture a horse kick enhanced with the Tsunade super-strength thing ohhhhh boy scary).

Kakashi is a Wolf. Because obviously. Specifically he’s a massive Canadian grey wolf and frankly hates Konoha summers with a passion.

Other random Taur ideas for this bunny are: The Nara are cougars in a completely upset from the idea of them being deer like their beloved deer herds, but cats are lazy and smart so it fits (also bby cougar Shika sleeping in a sunny patch, you’re welcome). Yamanaka are ungulates, SOME boar but mostly elk. The Akimichi are bears. Inuzuka are wild dog species with some domestics and coyotes thrown in. Hyuuga are Clouded Leopards and Snow Leopards, and the Aburame are ... I have no idea. Something unusual. Senju were either wolves or ungulates I haven’t decided, because while wolves feels more thematically appropriate as opposition to the big cat Uchiha, the mental image of a gamboling happy-go-lucky Hashirama Moose trundling over to a very exasperated Madara Lion while a huffy Tobirama elk follows behind is hysterical to me.

Theming is a thing, the hidden villages all tend to have taurs based very loosely on environment (with exceptions, see the Konoha Uchiha lions). Ie Mist has a LOT of crocodiles and hippos and otters and other aquatic taurs for ninja, Stone’s Kage with the terrible back is a badger, and Suna is an outlier because while it has a lot of desert animals taurs it ALSO has an unusually high number of traditionally “civilian” taurs being long-running ninja families, mostly because of their economic hardship and being the near underdog in EVERY FREAKING WAR meant they couldn’t be as choosy or snobby as the other villages when it came to where their ninja came from.

Of course you do get overlap because of intermarriages and just- genetic drift. Some Uchiha are Snow Leopards once in a blue moon (read: Obito) and sometimes you’ll spot a Nara tiger loafing around. It happens.

But anyway yeah that’s the bunny that thundered into my brain. I’ll probably store it for another year and a half and forget it exists until it explodes back into my awareness and overtakes both my Shape-Shifter Sasuke AU and my Deaf Itachi AU in length and insanity.

RWBY OC Team Overhaul!

TEAM SAFI IS BACKGROUND MATERIAL!

I IMPULSE CREATED AN ENTIRE FUCKING GENERATION FOR THESE LITTLE SHITS!

(To put it in perspective, I created seven first year teams alongside INKE as to not fall into the trap that canon gave us.

After that... Well, my imagination got away from me for a bit.

Four years, each with eight teams, four academies, and because I'm a masochist of the highest fucking order, eight teams of graduated, experienced, team's of hunters.

Oh, and apparently, I was idiotic enough to decide on a minium of twenty faculty members per FUCKING academy, so yeah.

I kind of hate myself!)

[Granted, only Beacon's first two years have been FULLY outfitted with named members, with their third year having maybe three...

Also, I wanna mention that there's an Atlas third year team by the name of WTRM (Watermelon) and I think it's fucking hilarious for some reason. They don't have names yet, but I'm banking on giving them absolutely ridiculous one's and being anything but absolutely professional with other people because of this horrible quirk of fate.]

Anyway, new OC Team!

(Their sister team is still in the works, but it's definitely going to be either a cross, or the original ideas I had for my first RWBY OC's, the latter tweaked because, as much as of soft spot as I have for them, I'm not a overly excited fourteen year trainwreck rushing right into character creation.

Said potential teams are...

WINE, KAGE, PALE, CCVN, or ASHE.)

[WINE is composed of Ferrand Wolfe, Ivory Feyre, Nox Acier, and Esemerlda Talon.

KAGE is Kobalt Evergreen, Alice Redford, Garnet Sharde, and Ebony McBride.

PALE is Pearl Luster, Akane Kurosawa, Light Navy, and Eerie Viollet.

CCVN is Cyan Braxton, Crystal Ventus, Veil McBride, and Nova Heart.

ASHE is Asher Kinsley, Sumire Aoi, Harlequin Aldebrand, and Ecrue Daniels.]

So far, the tentative name is Team INKE, led by Ichor Sable, partner to Taketori Kaguya, courtesy of an absolute moment of adrenaline, terror, and crying.

Lot's of crying.

I have most of Ichor's design figured out, by virtue of her both being the leader, and because of the fact that I know the myth of Icarus best.

Kaguya has, for the most part, been given a general color scheme!

The other two, tentatively named Nacht Lux and Egret Adelram, I have vague ideas for. I know Egret will be based on the tale of The Twelve Brother's, (and his entire family has a bird theme going on), and Nacht will have some connection to another fairy tale of some sort...

Urk so @jumpybox and I ended up with an idea inspired by @therealesino 's Royaul + me playing probably *way* too many harem games and its consuming basically all of my thoughts.

Except... Over half the cast hasn't been introduced to anyone, including some of the more important characters. (Kage, Yuki and Yume kind of, if you followed where I talk about them. Same for Belladonna and Daisy).

It would be three different pairs of Nightmare and Dream siblings as the royal family (Nox and Reve, Star and Nova, and a pair we haven't introduced) plus bsp, some star sans poly, and a number of other relationships including OCs we haven't even mentioned lol (also does shattered drink have a special name????) (I've internally joked we're going to get basically every ship out there by the end of everything we want to do with sibverse lol) (remember the sibverse tagline is "how many apple twins can we fit in a castle" well this takes all of those and dumps them in another storyline basically)

I had so much fun talking to you and it was great to finally meet someone new right from the start after playing so many games with people I’d already met. I was excited to play together, and I really wish it would’ve worked out, but our agendas just ended up on entirely different pages during that first merge vote :( I don’t really know what the problem between you and Matt was, but unfortunately I had to side with someone I had been more loyal to from the start. You’re a queen though!!!! And I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing the game through a juror’s lens this past month!

14th: Sean - Hey Sean!!! You were one of the few Tengaged people I felt I didn’t connect with too much, mostly because the premerge time we spent together we never really went to tribal. I know you were one of the first casualties in a long line of people who left when I wanted it to be Nick… But I liked that you were always there for the tribals, and I feel bad that you went out that way after Nick used his exile :( Hope you’re doin okay!!

13th: AJ - AJ LEGEND!!! I really did love the group we had with Kage, even though my votes over this merge have probably said otherwise. I found myself in a weird position between wanting to work with you, but not wanting to vote out any of the names you gave me, and unfortunately it got to the point where I couldn’t keep protecting as many people as I would’ve liked, especially with Nick immune. I love you though buddy, and I hope we can talk again after this is all over.

12th: Kage - I don’t even know where to start omg. All I can think of is you wearing all of those shirts…. Probably the best thing I have ever seen at a tribal council. At the very start of this game, I never expected you to be someone I worked closely with. When you went around asking everyone where they idol searched, I was initially sketched out by you - but as time went on, I really appreciated having you as someone I could put trust in as the numbers got smaller. I don’t think here is the right place to go over all of the details of why I did what I did the round you left, but I respect everything you tried to do in this game and you’re one of the funniest people I’ve gotten to know from it. Can’t wait to see what shit ur gonna pull at FTC fkjshdfk

11th: Matt - Matthew Summers!!!! It was refreshing to actually get to work together from the start of a game this time, even through the rocky swaps pre-merge. I think of everything, your vote-off is the only one I was truly blindsided by, and I wish it could’ve been another way because talking to you about video games and thirsting over RJ was a refreshing break from all the stress lol. I love you!

10th: Nick - HOLY SHIT NICK!!! The man with nine lives in this game!!! I don’t really know why or how, but at some point I decided you had become my mortal enemy in the game. I think it’s because when we first met, you seemed to be trying to pull the strings a little bit on an alliance between me and some other TG people. Plus your scary poker skills… I immediately saw you as a dominant force, and it scared me to think of having you in the game for as long as you were. You had so many tricks up your sleeve, and you always had me on my toes - you were a huge reason that the merge portion of this game didn’t get stale or boring, and even though I’m happy to have finally conquered my enemy, I hope you’re proud of how well you did!

9th: Maksym - I’m not sure when we decided to work together, but you were someone I had 10000% trust in after those first couple merge votes. Especially when I was getting nervous about something (usually about Tim targeting me), you were at least there to listen. I know the timezone difference made it a little rough, but I’m glad we got to meet here and play together a bit :) I’m sorry you were ROBBED

8th: Rodrigo - I saved this one for last because you are probably the person I have the most to say to, even though I’m not quite sure how to say it. I don’t want to make this public forum into a place for us to hash out our own personal conflict, but I do want you to know that I meant all of the things I said to you out of friendship. You were a close friend to me in this game, and I appreciated that we kept each other safe as long as we could. I know you don’t want to hear it, but when I was given the choice between voting RJ or voting you, I had to side with the person who was willing to vote with me. I so so wish we could’ve made a vote work together that round, and I apologize for not giving you the same honesty in return about me writing your name down - though in hindsight, your idol could’ve done some serious damage that night. I hope you will forgive me for writing your name, because it was 10000% the best game decision for me that night, and it doesn’t reflect at all the way I feel about you outside of this game. And even more than all this game stuff I value your friendship to me. Even when we didn’t vote together, you were a friend, and that meant a lot to me. I love you a lot, and I hope you aren’t too mad at me by now.

7th: RJ - The love of my life….. Wow. When I saw the cast for this, I was SO BLESSED to have someone so hot and so straight on my tribe from the get-go. I love how your laid-back attitude mixes so well with your passion for this game. Even when we were bouncing the craziest ideas off each other, you were never afraid to try anything, and I’m glad we made it as far as we did together. I didn’t expect to ever use that idol on anybody but myself, but the thought of losing you too soon made me do something impulsive and I wouldn’t have done it any other way :) Talk to you soon <3

6th: Jake - I’m really thankful we got to talk in the couples days before you were gone. I know I could’ve done more to approached you on a personal level even after our games didnt quite align, and it was my bad that it took me so long to do so. I hope your Glee rewatch is keeping up, and maybe we’ll get to have a tiny Bermuda reunion if I visit in the fall since we are both gonna be future teachers :)

5th: Lily - It’s so weird to think that the first time we met was all the way back in Malibu. From the blindside in that game, to meeting IRL, to beasting it out in this one together, we’ve come a long way!! You were a phenomenal player this time around - a beast in the challenges, always staying loyal, and still somehow never managing to piss anybody off. I’m sorry that it was you and not me last night, but I know one day you’re gonna come back and snatch the win you deserve!!!
