I HAVE AN IDEA AGAIN! Basically it’s a role swap au where Khaenri’ah wasn’t destroyed 500 years ago, and is still thriving. Instead of Kaeya being sent to Mondstadt for his ‘dark destiny’ or whatever, Diluc and his dad go on like a business trip or something in Khaenri’ah where they get attacked by a monster and Diluc losses his memories and Crepus dies or something so Dainsleif finds ten year old diluc passed out and bloody in the broken remains of the caravan they were in. So he takes him to a healer, he wakes up, doesn’t have any memories other than like a few crucial moments and muscle memory. So Dainsleif has him join the guards and, because he’s about the same age has him be prince Kaeya’s playmate slash bodyguard. Also ‘cause it’s me and I put the omega verse into everything it kinda fits into Khaenri’ahns have A/B/O dynamics. Hopefully this brainworm actually does something this time.

Things that we’ve learned about Kaeya and Diluc from HS
Kaeya and Diluc write letters to each other
Kaeya thought Diluc wouldn’t reply to his letters but Diluc actually does
They call each other K and D in the letters (which is kinda cute?)
They’re always looking out for each other. They show that they really care, they really care a lot
Kaeya informed Diluc about everything while he was away, and celebrated when they finally got their revenge on the man who sullied their father’s death
Diluc wants to act solo but he knows there might be times when they have to join forces and doesn’t mind
Diluc has so many of Kaeya’s letters around his house that he has kept
Also, Kaeya has really good handwriting
Kaeya’s eye was wounded when he fought Diluc, but he was not blinded. He wanted to pretend that he was, but Diluc knows the truth
Meaning that Kaeya can perfectly see with his right eye and he wears the eyepatch for another reason
Kaeya doesn’t blame Diluc for the fight, he knows that it was bad timing
Kaeya’s family, the Alberich Clan, were not the original rulers of Khaenri’ah but they took over. Which means that Kaeya is really a prince in a way
His family wanted to revive Khaenri’ah but couldn’t. They still want to continue with their plans (They might be allies with the Abyss Order then?)
Kaeya only has a small paper that talks about his clan that he saved when his birth father tried to eliminate all evidence
Kaeya’s melancholic when he thinks about his Clan and his birth father
Kaeya misses the Winery and goes there frequently, he spent a few days there while Diluc was still away. Kaeya stayed in his old bedroom and all the staff is happy with him
Kaeya has kept some of the seashells they found when they were kids (I’m crying at this)

Kaeya Prince of Khaenri’ah
Happy birthday baby 😚
(Listen if he doesn’t end up canonically being the prince then just consider this an AU. It already kinda is but… um… I suck at wording.)
“The prince of Khaenri’ah will be arriving in Mondstadt tomorrow for trade negotiations.” Grand Master Varka explains to Jean, Lisa, Amber, Diluc, Eula, Albedo, Noelle, Klee, and you. “I want all of you to be on your best behavior.”
“He means you and Klee.” Diluc looks over to you.
“Hey! That’s not entirely fair. I’ve been keeping Klee out of trouble for months.”
“Yeah! Miss Knight and I have been very good! I haven’t bothered big brother Albedo, I haven’t blown up any fish, and no one’s got mad at me and dodoco.”
Varka kneels down to Klee. “We’re all very proud of you for that Klee but you need to be extra good okay? Mondstadt needs Khaenri’ah to help us out.”
“Okay, Master Varka! Can me and miss Knight go fishing now?”
Varka sighs and and smiles at her. “Okay, just be careful and don’t blow up anything.”
“Come on you little pyromaniac. Let’s go get some fish.”
“Yay!” Klee cheers and pulls you out of the Knights HQ.
You two make your way down the street towards the front entrance of the city. On you walk you see a stranger at good Hunter. He had blue hair; tan skin; pants, boots, fingerless gloves, and a corset (all black); a short blue vest; a white shirt; and a fur collar with a cape attached.
“Hmm, what should I get? Excuse me, I don’t mean to bother a beautiful woman but do you perhaps have any wine?” He asks Sara.
“Oh, no, I’m sorry. We don’t serve wine here.”
“Oh that’s unfortunate. I suppose it’s made up for by the fact that a stunning, kind, woman works here.”
“Well aren’t you a charmer.” Sara smiles at him.
“I just try to make people’s day.”
“Excuse me!” You and Klee walked over to the man. He turns around and he has a beautiful blue left eye and his right eye is covered by his bangs. His face over all is ethereal. “Um, I, Angel’s Share is known for its immaculate wine. The Cat’s Tail also has some great choices of Alcohol apparently, I don’t usually drink but Crepus does enjoy their drinks.” You blush as this gorgeous man smiles at you.
“Crepus? The owner of Angel’s Share and the Dawn Winery?”
“Yeah, I helped him escape a Fatui Ambush a few years ago at his son’s birthday party.”
“Interesting, so you know the Ragvindrs?”
“Kinda, Diluc and I trained together to become knights. He’s very strong and incredibly and Crepus is so proud. I’ve only met the older Ragvindr a handful of times but he’s been like a father to me.”
“Hm, you and this Diluc must be a very happy couple.”
“Ew! Miss Knight would never be with that weirdo!”
“Klee! Sorry about her. I try to teach her to be nice to the other knights. Diluc and I have a friendly rivalry so we send jabs back and forth and Klee can sometimes be defensive of me.” You smile politely at the cute stranger.
“She’s very cute. Though she looks bit old to be your daughter.” Klee starts tugging on your sleeve.
“Oh no, she’s not mine. I’m more of a nanny. I’m sorry to cut this short but Klee and I were heading to starfell lake.”
“That sounds like a good time.”
“Yeah, she likes catching fish and I sit and watch her to make sure she doesn’t hurt herself. Maybe you’d like to join us.”
“I would actually, thank you. It would be my pleasure to entertain a woman as radiant and stunning as you. For all the stars beauty could never compare to the shining light of your eyes.” He takes your hand and kisses your knuckles. Your heart is thumping wildly in your chest.
During the afternoon you three play at the shore of starfell lake. Well Klee and dodoco play, you and this stranger (who you learn is named Kaeya) talk about life and your interests. He is an incredible charming man.
“Wait so this Diluc guy got his vision on his 18th birthday?”
“Yep, because he helped saved his dad. I don’t want to brag but I did get my vision before him.”
“So you mentioned before that you’re a knight. What’s that like?”
“Well I’m the cavalry captain so I manage funds for the horses. I could take you to meet my horse Marshal. How long do you plan to stay in Mondstadt for? I’ll be busy this week because the prince of Khaenri’ah is visiting but maybe on my lunch break I could introduce you to be noble steed.”
“I’d love to meet Marshal. Oh wow it’s getting late. I should head back. I’ll see you tomorrow miss Cavalry Captain.” He kisses your knuckles again and walks off.
“I call dibs on being the flower girl!” Klee shouts and you blush fiercely at the implication.
——
The next morning you get up and clean your, get on a professional but still combat oriented dress, and made breakfast then rushed off to work.
As you got to the front hall where the other knights were waiting, you joined Diluc and Lisa in the corner.
“Attention! Knights, I’d like to introduce to you all Kaeya Alberich, the prince of Khaenri’ah and his personal guard Dainsleif.” Varka announces.
You look over in shock and see the man from yesterday. He was dressed head to toe in whites and blues. White pants and shoes, a dark blue vest, light blue shirt and jacket with white fur on the bottom trim. He was decked out in sapphires, and his right eye was showing. It was a dazzling glowing gold. He’s so pretty.
Oh yeah and there was a blue eyed blondie in black and blue armor next to him.
—
During lunch he came to your office and knocked on your door. “Hey cute stuff.”
“Hey stranger, or would you like me to call you ‘your highness’?”
(A/n: you guys don’t even know how tempted I am to have Kaeya say “I’d rather you call me your boyfriend.”)
“Kaeya is fine. Varka told me that you were on lunch break so I thought that we could go see Marshal. If you’re not busy, I understand if you are.”
“I’d love to entertain a handsome charming man.” You smirk as you turn his words from yesterday on him. You pull him along and he starts idle conversation with you.
“You have no idea how many times Dain had to stop me from mentioning you.”
“I’m flattered.”
“Well it’s not every day that I see someone who can rival the Archons beauty.”
“You flatter me too much.”
You bring him to meet a white horse with brown spots around one eye and more sporadically around his back. “Hi Marshal!” You pet him.
“He’s adorable.” Kaeya smiles. “Can I ask you something crazy?”
“Go ahead.”
“Will you be my girlfriend? Or at least let me take you out for dinner?”
“I’d love to go on a date with my new boyfriend.” You say as you grab his hands and pull him into a short but intimate peck on the lips which he returns.

THIS PART in particular I wanna talk about. We FINALLY HAVE ALBERICH LORE.
First, confirmation that though they aren’t blood royals, they DID step in and act as regents- Assuming then that King Irmin had nobody else to lead in his stead, the Alberichs would have continued to rule until a new king was decided. This means that while Kaeya is not a prince by blood, if the Alberichs had decided to take over the throne without opposition, he likely still would still have been. Unfortunately, we don’t actually know how Khaenri’ah chooses its royals in the event of no existing heirs.
This goes double considering all of the evidence hinting at Kaeya being royal-adjacent, imo.
The question is WHEN did King Irmin die? Was it pre-Cataclysm? He must have a link to the Irminsul trees, and that also plays into Dains being a royal guard with the title of “Boughkeeper”.
Also, ‘father’ being in quotations... Is this calling into question the legitimacy of that blood tie, or is Kaeya still struggling with his abandonment? I have SO MANY QUESTIONS

So, here's a crazy theory about the abyss twin, Khaenri'ah and the Alberich Clan...
// 3.2 spoilers
Nahida said in the 3.2 quest that someone is obscuring the fate of the abyss twin, right? I wonder if the one who did that was Irmin, the former king of Khaenri’ah.
At the beginning of the 3.0 archon quest, we see the Irminsul tree under a red sky, which the traveler associates with Khaenri’ah, an underground nation (although probably not entirely undeground?).
AND the description of the Silver Twig, the item we get after the 3.2 archon quest, says this:
Tumblr media
Irmin is another name for Odin, and this is basically Odin’s story, so when I read the item’s description I was like OMGGGG. Odin hanged himself in Yggdrasil to gain knowledge of other worlds and to be able to understand runes. He did this before he exchanged his eye for knowledge too with Mímir, a being that lives beneath Yggdrasil.
Both the Abyss Mages and the Abyss Lectors draw their powers from sacred words, which leads me to believe that Irmin has passed on much of the knowledge he acquired, possibly causing what Nahida called “pollution of forbidden knowledge”.
Since the Irminsul tree is located somewhere underground, this ‘kingdom established along the tree’s roots’ is probably Khaenri’ah. One of the inspirations hyv used for Khaenri’ah could be Niflheim, a land of mist inhabited by the Nibelungs, a race of dwarves or elves, which seems to be another source of inspiration for the people of Khaenri'ah.
So, could Irmin have added information about the abyss twin in the Irminsul tree before he died or whatever happened to him? Could this be the reason they’re so determined to help Khaenri’ah?
Could the Alberich Clan know this?
The title of the abyss sibling is 'princess' or 'prince’, indicating that they aren't at the top of the hierarchy and Nahida’s words sort of confirm this.
So, maybe they work under the Alberich Clan, but without knowing their true plan. Perhaps they're doing the ‘heavy work’, learning more about Celestia and looking for ways to break the curse, while the Alberich Clan waits for the ‘right time’ to act.
I also think that the situation could be the complete opposite: the Alberich Clan knows of the Abyss Order, but they’re doing their own thing and sometimes they might use them to gain intel. I mean, Kaeya seems to do that.
In this case, I think Dainsleif might be on their side or, at least, know of them. He literally knows every character in the game. Wouldn’t he be aware of Khaenri’ah’s regent clan?
Still, I think there’s a connection between the abyss twin and the Alberich Clan because Kaeya says this when the traveler talks to him in Jean’s office during the Stormterror’s quest:
Tumblr media
Did he mean the abyss twin? Does he have memories of the abyss twin from his early childhood or something? Does this mean the abyss twin and the Alberich Clan know each other? Why would Kaeya say that to a person he just met? This dialogue happens before the traveler received his gliding license from Amber.
It’s very odd.

I do not have the requisite art skills so y’all are gonna have to imagine my crack magnum opus titled “Neuvillette’s relaxing vacation in Mondstat”
Neuvillette: the waters of Springvale are indeed unparalleled in purity, and its people kindhearted. I lament that their Archon—
Smash cut to Venti giving a silly peace sign. Behind him is Dvalin, w/ arrow over his head reading “probable Anemo Sovereign,” Kaeya, w/ arrow over his head reading “reagent-prince of Khaenri’ah,” and Venti himself, w/ arrow over his head reading “who even knows, but wow”
Neuvillette: turns to look at the traveler, who is waving cheerfully to everyone w/ arrow over their head reading “immortal twin of the abyss ruler”
Neuvillette:
Neuvillette: …On second thought, this requires careful consideration.
In the background, Kaeya’s asking Dvalin “actually who are you??” Lumine’s telling Venti how primordial sourcewater looks an awful lot like abyssal taint, to which he is humming cheerfully and noncommittally. The abyss twin can be seen in the back corner dragging Enjou out of frame
Neuvillette, deliberately turning his back on this nonsense: But before acknowledging all that, I absolutely need to drink more water first.

Genshin 3.5 spoilers and lore talk
I genuinely don’t think that Eide (I can’t spell his actual name and I’m lazy) Is Kaeya’s father. I know Hoyo kinda sucks at writing sometimes I mean look at Inazuma but for something this important like Kaeya’s parents I don’t think they’d put it in a archon quest this short nor give such a basic model (Though Eides Va did a great job and sold a mentally unstable on his last rope guy). Most likely the Alberich’s are a clan family and Eide was simply apart of that before finally being able to die . I also think that Caribert is not Kaeya either simply to timeline issues, conflicting lore, and the fact that I feel way to lazy to explain right now.
Also here’s a quick list of things that stood out to me
-The abyss orders been around way before Khaenri’ah’s fall and was founded by the Albereich’s
-During the 500 years the traveler was asleep the abyss twin found Eide and helped him just like in the quest and was already on their revenge quest
-Kaeya is not a spy? Well I still at this point in time believe he still is but lore with him’s a bit foggy for me
- Kaeya is still royalty to Khaenri’ah but just not a prince I think. Still he’s so goddamn confusing at this point I don’t feel like going into it. And this guy lies a lot so until I get more stuff I I’m just gonna wait and see
Oh well for now at least despite how weirdly short this archon quest was and how we had way to little screentime for Kaeya and Dain I was really invested in this
Ragbros windblume, Hoyo make it happen

in this valley of dying stars
Compared to Khaenri’ah, Mondstadt is almost simple.
It's the so-called city of freedom, without the hassle of a court and its rulers, though they do love their knights. Kaeya can see the appeal, of course, because he is quite fond of Khaenri’ahn knights, having grown up in the castle and watching them train. He was a prince back then, but they took special pleasure in messing up his hair, in letting him lift their claymores, in teaching him to wield a sword.
The Knights of Favonius, however different they may be, are undeniably familiar to him.
Kaeya only wishes that, in the end, he wouldn't leave them in a heartbeat. They like him, the Grand Master – Jean, he recalls, who is called the Dandelion Knight and the Lionfang Knight, and stars, he thinks, she has more titles than even Albedo – and her librarian and even, to some extent, the little Traveller of theirs.
And there are others, of course, and Monstadt is far from short of interesting people and places. There’s a winery that Kaeya is, admittedly, far too fond of, and the bright-eyed winemaker who lives there, the one who holds his claymore one-handed – a feat only a handful of the Serpent Knights were able to do – as fire danced in his gaze.
He still prefers Khaenri’ah over this place, prefers the comfort of the dark castle and endless stars etched above their heads, even if they aren’t the true ones, to the open plains and hills of Mondstadt.
Still, he supposes, Mondstadt is far from the worst places he’s seen on his travels.
There are footsteps behind him, loud ones, but Kaeya doesn’t bother to turn to face them. It’s no stranger after all, and Kaeya has no enemies to sneak up behind him, not here. The Abyss Order lurks, of course, and their numbers grow with each passing day, but they don’t know of him, Kaeya has made sure of that.
But Diluc?
Diluc, who walks up behind him, wraps his arms around Kaeya’s waist and buries his face in his shoulder is no threat to him. There’s a strangeness to their familiarity, to the comfort of his weight against Kaeya’s back and how Kaeya doesn’t even flinch at his touch, and it’s a strangeness that he doesn’t have time to ponder. He’s here for a reason, after all, darling partner aside, and Kaeya knows that he won’t abandon his cause.
Or maybe Diluc is a threat, just not in the way that one would expect.
No, he thinks, Diluc is a threat because Kaeya would kill for him, and that is no small thing.
“You’re certainly lost in thought,” Diluc says, and Kaeya can almost see his smile. An amused little thing, the corner of his lips tilted upwards as laughter shines in his eyes, and warm, almost painfully so.
“Perhaps,” Kaeya says, “perhaps.”
Because Diluc doesn’t need to know about the thoughts running through his head, does he? Diluc knows he’s not of this world, not with the stars in his visible eye and the way he can summon ice to his fingers, despite having no vision at his hip.
But that doesn’t mean Diluc needs to know about this, about how far his nation has fallen, and how Mondstadt is its last hope.
“It’s nothing that concerns you, my dear,” he tells Diluc, pressing a kiss to his cheek. “Absolutely nothing at all.”

Vaguely shape of water AU
Kaeya’s the prince of Khaenri’ah; he’s being led on a tour of the Abyss’s laboratory; they’re waxing poetically about how Khemia is about to leap forward by decades thanks to a recent discovery—
The abyss opens the door into a lab; inside, there’s a tank, and inside the tank is—
a mermaid from Enkonomiya, a creature so rare the world thought them extinct
Kaeya is /disgusted. “You’ve created mechanical marvels so wondrous as to be the envy of the gods themselves and you debase yourselves torturing a living creature?”
The Abyss is a lil flabbergasted and can only splutter and gape as Kaeya orders his retinue to fetch blankets and bring his car around. He keys in the royal override, emptying the tank and the mermaid out onto the floor, soaking their shoes and boots with whatever goo was in there
Kaeya gingerly gathers the mermaid into the blanket, saturating it with goo, and carries her to his car
idk if they return to his residence where she recuperates or if they go directly to the ocean
As he carries her from the lab, she rests her head on his shoulder
Except he smells like health and life and *meat*
*and she’s so hungry*
But he’s also taking her away from this bad lifeless place; it would be rude to eat him
When she presses her face to his neck, Kaeya shifts her in his arms and cradles her head
and he’s a liiiil weirded out when her teeth scrape over his skin
(They don’t cut him, she’s just letting him know they’re there)
She rubs her forehead against him, she nuzzles, then ever so lightly, ever so gently, she touches her teeth to his jugular.
Kaeya … he stops walking. Something deep in the ancient, primal part of his brain is screaming *DANGER*.
But the mermaid doesn’t bite down. She just returns her head to his shoulder.
Her skin, pulled tightly over her hands and cheekbones, seems sallow, and her scales dull. But maybe that’s just the dim light of the lab corridors. Or maybe—
“You must be starving.”
Kaeya has one of his retinue track down an office phone.
Upon their arrival, there’s a somewhat confused grocer waiting outside their store with a bag of stewing beef.
(Kaeya has them paid handsomely)
Kokomi pushes herself back off of Kaeya’s lap until she bumps the wall of the vehicle and props herself up.
Kokomi tries to be tidy. She has manners, after all. (Make it clean.) if she weren’t so *hungry* she would fret as to how much *tail* she has: it’s sprawled over kaeya’s legs, the bench, onto the floor. How it’s taking every drop of self control to keep her tail from lashing, to keep herself from becoming bloody ~~by killing~~. She’s so hungry she doesn’t notice the motion of the vehicle, that Kaeya swaps out the trays when they become empty, that she nearly takes some of his fingers off when he isn’t careful that one time.
Upon returning to the palace, kaeya carries Kokomi to the swimming and oh—
Kokomi stretches out and sinks to the bottom.
This is nice.
.
Over the next few days, Kokomi is living the life: Sure, the water’s a little stale and she would appreciate some cover, but she doesn’t have to spend a drop of energy on catching prey what with Kaeya (or his staff) bringing her food, she can rest and heal and recuperate.
Kaeya drags as much of his office into the room as he can and does most of his work by the pool.
He’s dictating a letter to his secretary (who’s paid not to raise an eyebrow at Kaeya’s antics) when they hear an unfamiliar voice from the water echoing Kaeya.
They attend Kokomi; she repeats what Kaeya had just said a second time, quite pleased with herself.
Kaeya immediately shucks his work and devoted himself to teaching Kokomi words.
By the time she’s grown restless in the pool, she can label Kaeya with his name and a dozen or so objects. Kaeya, in turn, can passably trill Kokomi’s name as well as “water” (or “home”, he’s not entirely sure).
.
Kokomi tries her best not to squirm too much when she smells the sea. She knows Kaeya can tell she’s excited; he murmurs things that sound nice in her ear.
(She likes the feeling)
Wisely, Kaeya cuts free the blankets around her tail before they leave the car.
This part of the coast has a fairly long sandbar; the car drives as close to the shore as it can, and Kaeya, barefoot, sets off with her in his arms.
The water’s as deep as his shins before he lets her go, setting her down gently on the sand (and soaking himself in the process). She twists herself to be under the water, and with one powerful push of her tail, she’s—
Once in open water, she /exhales. Corkscrews through the ocean, rinsing herself of surface air and lifelessness. She coasts for a minute, and then flips herself around and zips back to the surface.
“I was hoping you’d say goodbye,” says Kaeya.
Kokomi makes grabby hands.
Kaeya chuckles, tosses his sodden shirt aside, and wades out to her.
Kokomi takes his hand and pulls him off his feet and into her arms. She swims them out far enough that—
It’s just the two of them, hanging in space.
Kokomi wraps her arms his trunk and twines her tail around his legs and holds him tight.
Kaeya slides his hands over her back, holding her just as tightly. Feels the flutter of her gills against his skin. He presses his mouth to her neck.
Kokomi purrs, tangles her fingers in his hair. She tugs, just a bit, and when Kaeya lifts his head, she strokes his cheeks.
(She’s so blurry. Kaeya’s eyes /sting.)
Kokomi presses her mouth to his.
He kisses her back.
She sighs happily and leans in.
But then, she pulls away.
Her tail uncoils from his legs though … it does linger.
Kokomi grasps his arms. Kaeya sees the muscles in her shoulders flex, and then he’s rocketing towards the surface.
He looks back when he gets his feet back beneath him.
He swears there’s a pink dot on the horizon.
He takes his time returning to the car, climbing in, claiming he’s drying off.
(He’s sure the dot’s still there.)
His retainers finally coax him in.
.
That summer, he has a courtier head to the beach the day before his vacation is to begin and announce his arrival to the ocean.
He doesn’t bother unpacking upon arrival; he tosses his rucksack on his bed and immediately makes for the shore.
She isn’t there.
Kaeya slumps on the sand and in no way shape or form spends the rest of the day sulking or moping.
As the sun sets, his retinue coaxes him back inside. He pokes and prods at his supper (but, with much cajoling, does manage a few bites), and then drags himself to his room to most certainly not continue sulking or moping.
The next day, he sighs his way through breakfast and his retinue shoo him from the house (though they do so responsibly; a guard lurks on the beach).
Kaeya’s a pile of misery upon a rock when a hand reaches from the water, grabs his ankle, and yanks him in.
Kokomi, smiling brightly, has him pinned to the sand.
She can tell the moment his eyesight resolves and when he can tell it’s her; she kisses him silly.
Kaeya tangles his hands in her hair and kisses her back.

The current stories of Genshin has been keeping us on our toes. Some gives us the answers we need, while some gives us more questions to our unanswered questions, and there are some that gives us newer questions.
I have decided to list down some of my own questions. Of course, being a normal decent human being, I may have missed some answers that may have appeared in dialogues. Also, there are some speculations I have about the future of Genshin.
Needlessly to say, since we are touching on some parts of the Genshin story, there will be 🚨spoilers🚨 though I will try my best to minimize it as much as I can. Now, let’s go for the joy ride.
1️⃣ Kaeya’s alleged betrayal
Tumblr media
(Picture Source: PCGamesN thru’ Google Image Search)
We and Kaeya himself both know that he’s the descendent from the fallen nation of Khaenri’ah. Back then, there was a bandwagon theory about him being the Khaenri’ah prince. That has obviously been proven wrong.
Afterwards, in the latest Abyss Order story which was located in Sumeru, we learned that Kaeya’s ancestor was the original founder of the Abyss Order. According to Dainsleif, the way he uttered his last name Alberich has proven to him that Kaeya has no idea about the significance of his heritage.
But let’s not forget that Kaeya is actually well aware of his role as a Khaenri’ah “spy”. Although it is not entirely clear whether he is really a spy for Khaenri’ah, he did confess to Diluc about it on the night Master Crepus died.
Tumblr media
(Source: Genshin Impact Wiki Fandom - Kaeya’s Lore)
It is obvious now that Kaeya seems to have decided to stick with Mondstadt. But the question of whether he will betray the nation he grew up in still remains. It is a big decision that he has to make in the future and a question that will continue to remain unanswered until the time comes.
Tumblr media

2️⃣ Port of Mondstadt
Tumblr media
(Picture Source: HoYoLAB’s Teyvat Interactive Map)
Venti visited Liyue during the Lantern Rite 2023 festival to meet Kazuha. While speaking to him, he mentioned about Mondstadt having a port.
Now, that has sparked some interest in many players. Mondstadt does not really have a port according to the current map. I mean, if you want to count the one that is behind Angel’s Share, then there is one question: how the heck will the ships exit and enter Cider Lake?
Tumblr media

In other words, this means one thing. We will definitely have an expansion of the current Mondstadt map and explore the legendary port Venti mentioned in the story.
However, I don’t think they would expand just for the sake of expanding. There is a likely chance that we will get some additional areas of exploration. The only thing I could think of is the sea of dandelions that was mentioned by Sage.

It may seem like a fairytale place that does not exist in the reality of Teyvat, but we have seen some of those places actually existing. So, I am not surprise that we may get to have the Dandelion Sea in the expansion.
3️⃣ Will Scaramouche/Wanderer ever meet Kazuha?

If you know the story of Tatarasuna alongside with Scaramouche’s backstory, then you will definitely know that Scara had a history with the Kadehara clan. Although he felt betrayed by Niwa (the relative of the Kadehara clan), the history he had with him had prevented him from eliminating the Kadehara clan entirely during his killing spree.
It may seem impossible for them to meet now since Scara went ahead and rewrote history in Irminsul, causing those who were affected by the fall of the Raiden Gokuden to remember the history differently. Obviously, Kazuha will be affected as he is the direct descendant of one of the Raiden Gokuden clans.
However, Scara still remembers the real history (and even tried to correct essays from scholars who are writing about it... like if you are going to do that? WHY THE HECK YOU DO IT IN THE FIRST PLACE?!), and he even asked us, the Traveler, to tell the Raiden Gokuden clans the real truth. Of course, that is something that we will never know if it will ever happen.
But I am just dying to see the interaction between Scara and Kazuha. Scara is well aware of Kazuha being the last remaining person of the Kadehara clan, and seems to have an interest in him though the part about Kazuha taking on the  Musou no Hitotachi seems to have overshadow it. But I guess we can hope for an interaction between Scara and Kazuha in the future.

4️⃣ Possibly meeting our Abyss sibling face-to-face one more time

Before we first met our Abyss Sibling face-to-face, I speculated that we will definitely meet them at the end of the Teyvat journey simply because 💁‍♀️... I mean... that’s kind of the whole point of the game, right?
But then, our Abyss Sibling appeared right before us in the second Abyss Order quest. Afterwards, the journey to find our sibling seems to have shifted the focus as to why we are finding our sibling. I mean, the main reason as to being reunited is definitely the top priority, but part of the journey to finding them is also about why they are doing what they are doing.
Although our Abyss Sibling is clearly staying out of our way and letting us finish our journey, I have a strong feeling (I may be wrong) that we will meet our sibling face-to-face (not through memories) one more time before the final one at the end of the journey.
The reason I am speculating this is because of the Fontaine twins.

The Fontaine twins were first introduced to us in a teaser trailer Mihoyo/Hoyoverse released back 2021. They are the only pair of twins to be featured in the teaser trailer. After experiencing the story in four nations, it is safe to say that the twins will have a significant impact to the storyline.
But that would also mean something. The only pair of “playable” twins is the traveler. Of course, we only get to pick one and the other ultimately becomes the Abyss Sibling. So, even if our respective chosen traveler is part of a “twin package”, the game experience we had so far is a one character playing style.
The introduction of the Fontaine twins may change that. Firstly, we are not entirely sure if the twins will come as one package, or come as separate (be it both 5 stars, both 4 stars, or one of the two being a 5 star). Depending on how they will be introduced to us in the game will determine whether the next point and speculation of this entire point may come true.
Secondly, if the twins are introduced as one package, then there will be a whole new gaming experience being introduced to the game as well. Meaning that instead of a one character playing style, we may be given a two character playing style. Ultimately, our party may have 5 characters in it as the Fontaine twins are introduced as one package.
To bring back the point to meeting our Abyss twin face-to-face again, the only time we will get a new Abyss Order quest is definitely going to be after dealing with Fontaine; of course, subject to changes. By that time, the alleged new playing style may have already been introduced, and it may allow us to temporarily team up with our Abyss Sibling for something during the Abyss Order quest.
I am not really good at explaining this, and it does sound quite far-fetched. However, the thought of meeting the Abyss Sibling again face-to-face is something I believed may happen. I also have to put a disclaimer here that whatever I have written about the Fontaine twin’s playing style is just pure speculation, hence, there is no official confirmation about this. As mentioned, this is just a speculation of what may happen if we happen to meet our Abyss Sibling again.
5️⃣ Interactions of the other archons

Hoyoverse has already shown us that they are willing to write an interaction between the remaining archons, such as the one between Barbatos and Rex Lapis. While we are screaming for more, I believe we would like to see other interactions between the other two, eventually three, archons.
I feel that there may be some potential of Ei and Nahida interacting since Scara is technically under the care of the Sumeru archon. As mentioned earlier, although Scara rewrote history, his existence is not being denied by both Ei and Yae Miko. Hence, it may be interesting to see the interactions of Ei, Nahida, and also Scara (especially between mother and son).
6️⃣ Scaramouche returning to Inazuma?
Tumblr media

Does anybody feel like giving him a good spanking based on that picture? I don’t know why, it is just making me feel like doing it...
Ahem! Anyway, tying in with the previous point, if Nahida were to interact with Ei, there is a chance that Scara may return to Inazuma as well. It may not fazed him as much since he was there during the Inazuma’s lockdown as one of Snezhnaya’s diplomats.
However, returning there as simply the Wanderer, and also being the son of the electro archon may have different experiences. Moreover, he’s wearing the golden feather amulet... Not sure if the people of Inazuma actually recognizes it...
Of course, I know that there is a chance of Ei coming to Sumeru instead. And there is also a chance of both the dendro and electro archon not leaving their own nations. Still, I think it will be fun to see Scara roaming around Inazuma... and bumping into Itto... and letting Itto annoy the crap out of him...
Now I really want him to go back to Inazuma.
-----------------------------------------------------------
That’s about all I have! Phew!
I know that some points looks ridiculous but it is just a speculation and wishful thinking of mine. However, there are also some I believe will come to pass - my speculations may not be accurate to what Hoyoverse has in stall for us, but possibly close enough.
I also know there is a lot regarding Scaramouche but that is because he has a lot of unanswered questions and lots of potential for him to shine in the future stories. Of course, he has to graduate from Nahida’s school first.
I will just end it off here by reminding everyone that there is NO official confirmation on any of the speculations I have made. Those are just assumptions purely produced from my brain.
