idk what all you write about kink wise, but could you do sub!jake with pegging? where he’s really subby and cute and the reader (female) takes care of him
A/N: I don't write pegging lol but I hope u enjoy <3 (forgive me if there r any spelling mistakes)
Warnings: oral (m receiving), fingering (f receiving), unprotected sex
Word count: 1.6 k
Jake falls on top of you while you lay in bed. You let out an 'oof' from the sudden weight. His hair is a little damp from his shower and it's poking into your eyes.
"Please give me a warning if you're gonna do that." you wince.
"I'm sorry," he groans and rolls off of you. "I'm not having a good day."
Your brows furrow. "Why? Did something happen?"
He runs a hand through hair and sighs. "The choreo for drunk dazed is just really hard and we're all struggling to be synchronized. It just feels like everyone is blaming each other for it."
You frown and pull him against you so that his head is resting on your chest. "I'm sorry baby. But I'm sure you guys will figure it out, you always do. Maybe everyone was feeling extra crummy today."
"Maybe," he says while wrapping his arms around your waist. "I couldn't stop thinking about coming to see you all day. I think I'm addicted to you."
You giggle.
"Seriously though, what are you laced with? Meth? Crack?" he jokes and you ruffle his hair.
"I think about you all day too sweetheart." you kiss the top of his head.
He smiles and throws his leg on top of yours. "What'd you do today?"
"The usual. School. Work. And dealing with that one bitch who always has the most complicated drink order." you roll your eyes.
"Is that the lady who asks for like twelve different syrups?" he chuckles.
"Yeah, I think it's for her kid too, I should call CPS." you joke and he laughs.
"Ugh, now I can't stop thinking about what happened today." he groans. "I hate being angry, I wish we could all get over this already."
"Sometimes it's worse to just move on, you should clear the air first." you suggest.
"But apologizing sucks." he complains.
"I know but it'll be worth it." you rub his back.
"I need something that will get my mind off of it." he says.
"You got any ideas?"
"Mhm," he says while pushing his hand up your shirt.
You chuckle. "Of course that's what it is."
"What," he says sheepishly. "It's your fault for being so tempting."
You push him onto his back and climb into his lap. His hands immediately find your hips.
You kiss him softly, your thumb gently swiping back and forth on his cheek.
He opens his mouth, inviting your tongue to meet his. He's already grinding up into you and this point.
You hold his hips down. "Patience."
He just whines and gives you puppy eyes, but you don't cave.
You slide your hand up his hoodie and glide your fingers along his warm skin. He feels so good under you, you’ll never be able to get enough of him.
You push his hoodie up and stick your head under, pecking all of the skin you can reach.
He laughs and pets your hair. “I thought you said to be patient.”
“You’re too good to resist.” you say while palming him through his sweats.
He whimpers as he starts to struggle under your touch.
You pull down the band of his sweats just the slightest bit to kiss his hip bone.
He watches you with wide eyes, anticipating your every move.
“If you want me to do something you’re gonna have to ask.” you tease.
“Touch me please,” he says without hesitation.
You smirk before coming up to kiss him while sliding your hand into his Calvins.
He whines into your mouth and you smile, loving how quickly he submits to you.
“I’m sorry my angel had a bad day,” you kiss his jaw. “I’ll make you feel better okay?”
He nods eagerly as you tug his pants down. You waste no time getting your mouth on his cock.
He hisses and grips at the duvet. “Fuck,” he exhales.
You pull away and let spit drip from your tongue down to his tip and it’s so hot that Jake’s tempted to take a picture.
You take him into the back of your throat and his head falls back with a moan. You can see his Adam’s apple dip every time he swallows.
You continue to bob your head up and down and he moves to pet your hair.
“Please don’t stop,” he begs, his desperation sending heat straight between your legs.
“Fuck you’re so good.” his hips buck up and you hold him down. You brace yourself and deepthroat him, you can feel your eyes watering.
He moans and grabs at the headboard behind him. “Can I cum please? Please I need it.” he says hopelessly.
You nod and it only takes one swallow around his tip to get him whimpering and trembling under you.
You swallow his seed while he comes down from his high.
“Thank you,” he exhales before pulling you up for a kiss. “I love you.”
You smile. “I love you too baby.”
“Can you fuck me please?” he hooks his fingers into the band of your shorts and underwear.
You smirk and help him out, throwing your garments onto the floor. He pulls you into his lap and tugs your hoodie over your head.
“So pretty,” he says before kissing your chest, running his tongue over your sensitive nipples. You moan and comb your hands through his hair.
His fingers travel down to your desperate cunt to draw circles on your clit.
You grab his cock, not being able to hold out anymore. You line yourself up with him before slowly sinking down.
He buries his head into your neck. “Fucking god,” he groans. “So wet.”
Your head falls back as he hits your sweet spot.
“You feel so good,” he whimpers.
“Yeah?” you ask cockily.
He looks up at you with sparkling eyes and nods.
“My pretty puppy,” you coo while bouncing up and down on him. “Taking this pussy like a good boy.”
His head falls back down onto your shoulder but you tug his hair, getting his eyes on you.
“Look at me when I fuck you.” you say and he whimpers.
“I’m sorry,” he says sweetly and you kiss him.
He reaches down to play with your clit while you rock your hips against his.
You run your hands softly over his shoulders then down his lean torso. You watch his face and the way the corners of his lips perk up every now and then. He’s the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen.
His eyes were clouded and completely taken over by your presence and he looks so pretty you could die.
He holds your waist tight while moaning and whimpering mindlessly, not caring if your neighbors can hear.
His whines begin to get more frantic and you kiss his forehead. “You close?”
“Mhm,” he says. You can tell that he’s trying not to finish. “I don’t think I can hold it anymore.”
"You can go a little longer." you tease.
He shakes his head. "I can't I can't. You feel too good."
You squeeze around him just to have fun and he whimpers, looking at you with desperation in his eyes.
"Please y/n." you can see that he's starting to tear up.
Your hand comes up to tug on his hair. “Cum for me then, be good, puppy.”
“Harder.” he begs and you obey.
His head snaps back and his lips part, letting out the most alluring sounds you could ever hear.
Your bouncing turns into grinding as he releases into you.
“Good boy,” you whisper to him as he relaxes.
He kisses your neck while slumping into you.
You smile. “You did so good baby.”
“Thank you,” he says.
You’re about to get up when he grabs you and pulls you so that your back is against his chest.
“What’s going on?” you ask.
“You didn’t cum,” he says before pushing one finger into you. You moan, still sensitive from the stimulation you had a moment ago.
He drapes your legs over his, spreading you wide.
“All I wanna do is make you feel good.” he says while pushing a second finger in.
Your head falls back onto his shoulder and he takes that opportunity to kiss your neck. He curls his fingers just the slightest bit and your hips buck.
“Fuck,” you moan.
His fingers reach deeper than yours ever could. They make you feel things that you’ve never felt before.
You look down to watch his dripping fingers disappear in and out of your cunt.
It’s not long before your thighs begin to tremble. You guys have been together to the point where he knows every trick that makes your eyes roll back and your back arch, but every time he uses them, it just gets better and better.
“Please cum for me,” Jake uses his free hand to massage your chest. “I wanna be good for you.”
Your hips begin to pull away but he’s quick to pull you against him.
Your moans get more and more desperate as you reach your high. Then finally, you’re falling into an abyss of euphoria.
He peppers kisses all over you as you calm down, his fingers still slowly pumping in and out of you.
You turn around to straddle him and give him a kiss. “You’re so good.” you say.
He blushes like a schoolgirl and kisses your cheek. “I love you.”
You chuckle. It’s cute how often he likes to say it. “I love you too puppy.”
“Am I really that much like a puppy?” he says. “Don’t I look cooler now with my black hair?”
“I suppose,” you ruffle it. “You’re still a cutie to me.” You’re kidding, you know that he’s stupid hot.
He sighs and rolls his eyes.
You giggle. “Why? Do you wanna be bad?” “Mhm.” he nods.
“Maybe I can treat you like you are.” you push him into his back for another round.

Prophecy In The Stars
Tumblr media
Movie: Narnia
Pairing: None yet, maybe a peter x reader
Summary: Feeling nostalgic, you went to your, newly bought, Disney+. Searching through seas of different and familiar movies, but only stopping at one. Narnia, the movie you and your family desperately adore. Having many good memories with the movie, you decided to play it. Only for your vision to fade to black. Awaken by the sound of children voices, and hands shaking your shoulders. Voices compelling you to be awoken, you groggily open your eyes to see, familiar yet, unknown faces, and a different world not your own. A journey awaits, and a strong blade to be held, a war to win. And a prophecy to complete.
“How dare she!” You yelled, throwing your book bag onto your small twin size bed. The old bed creaking from the sudden weight. Frustratingly running your fingers through your hair, down your face, stretching down your eyes and lips in anger. Than plopping on your bed, making it shake with a threatening rattle.
“HEY! What’s going on up there!” Yelled the voice of your mother. You could clearly hear that she was tired and in desperate need of relaxation. And not wanting to awaken a demon, you quickly apologized. “SORRY MOTHER! Nothings wrong!”
Heaving a sigh, you thought about what you could do with your problem. Either lay around and not do anything about it, or just relax and watch a movie.
You chose the latter obviously. Quickly running over to your desk, that stood next to your wardrobe, and getting your laptop. Flipping it open, and going to Disney+.
You searched through many old and nostalgic movies, yet you couldn’t find the right one yet. Searching for a bit longer, still nothing.
Until you suddenly got an idea of a movie you’ve been itching to watch for years! Swiftly moving the mouse onto the search bar and typing in the specific movie you desperately wanted to watch to finally rid yourself of school and stress.
Practically screeching when you found the perfect movie, and immediately pressing on it. You were so excited that you started to bounce around in place and staring around the room in anticipation as the movie loaded; but what you didn’t notice was the, now, swirling black hole coming from your screen, inch by inch, getting bigger.
Not up until the very last minute, did your pea for brains finally comprehend what was in front of you, and how potentially dangerous and extremely weird it was. Alas, when you tried to move away from it, something grabbed your leg, quickly pulling you into its dark abyss without much complaint, and being unable to yell loud enough to be heard over the loud movie your mother was watching.
The last thing you saw looking back at your room once more with tears swelling in your eyes, was that your mother would be alone, and how dearly you didn’t want that to happen since she’d probably think you left her like your father did. When he found out she was pregnant with you.
Finally accepting that you weren’t getting out of this, you let yourself fall, and you fell deep into the hole where you couldn’t see your room anymore and only a black and big abyss. Feeling as if you were losing conscious, you closed your eyes willingly and tiredly after trying to fight this thing.
You’ll have to deal with this whole situation after you get a good rest, because right now, you could practically sleep through an alien invasion.
__________________________________________
“My dear child! Please wake up! PLEASE!”
Snapping open your eyes, you were blinded by raging lights and you could feel your ears combust from all the loud and fearful noises. Your mind was completely out of it, resulting in your eye sight being blurry and only being able to see the outlines of fires and silhouettes.
This scared you beyond belief. It was like something your never experienced before. Your lungs contracted against your frantic commands. Your body practically having a mind of it’s own, and it horrified you! It felt as if you looked into the snake demon in the eyes herself, and became a mere statue. Isolated, yet still being able to feel, hear, smell. It was complete torture.
Until a harsh sting had erupted on your right cheek. It soon after left a dull ringing In your ear. Your cheek had now turned a bright rosy red, implanted with a hand print of the one who had slapped you. The pain shot through your entire body, down to the tip of your toes, and all the way to the top of your head. It was enough force to make your eyes tear up a bit.
And just enough for you to get out of your stupor, having been thinking before you got slapped; although now that train of thoughts had disappeared. You looked around angrily, searching for the person that had the audacity to touch you in such a way, only a mother could!
You angled your head towards the guilty person who had just slapped you across the cheek. Yes it was for a good reason, and yes you should be grateful since you now knew you were in a dangerous situation, but you still couldn’t let up the fact that they had to SLAP YOU! They could’ve pinched you! Although you knew that wouldn’t be enough to get you out of it.
You looked at the person at fault, who had looked down. Possibly from the fact that they had realized it wasn’t the right thing they should’ve done, especially in a situation like this one. There were practically bombs going off everywhere! And one could even hit them from above.
(Y/n) had soon finally realized, that maybe she was taking this a bit too harshly, and should not blame this person. For they had given her a safe place, away from this war she had found herself in, right after she was sucked into that black ho-
‘Wait a tick, WHERE THE FLIPPITY FLAPS AM I?!’, you hysterically thought as your incomputable brain cells had the AMAZING idea to look at the people who had saved you. So, you did, only to be left with a hanging mouth, and eyes as huge as dinner plates.
In front of you, were the so called, sons of Adam, and daughters of Eve. The Kings and Queens Of Narnia. The hero’s, and children, you looked up to when you were a smol lil bean. (Uwu u wer so cute)
There was a pregnant silence that had taken over the small cabin. Even the bombs had stopped, and that’s what had made the silence even more eerie. It was as if time had stopped, it’d had frozen, and you were the only one that was capable of moving. Well, not up until Edmund had started to wave a hand across your face. “I think she’s a bit thick, pretty, but thick in the head.”, he had said with a taunting smirk.
Even in a situation, where he should be scared and crying, like he was in the movie, he had the audacity to call you thick. Now you remembered all the times of back then when you used to get mad at Edmund for selling out aslan and his sibling to that witch. You were practically seething on your couch when he did it for food. Your parents had to stop and hold you down before you could damage the tv thinking it would hurt Edmund. Yes, you may be a hypocrite since you’d sell anyone out for anything, JUST for food, but who wouldn’t???
“Oh, I’m thick? Why thank you for noticing! I’ve been doing two squats a day, squating low to get to the bottom of the refrigerator, all the way to the top to get my snacks. It has its advantages.”, you had answered with a knowing smirk. And you had received the reaction you had wanted from the little asshole, a bright red hue, across his ears, and down his neck. He practically glowed!
Although, the moment was ruined by a shock wave hitting the ground hard. You had tipped over by the sheer force it was giving out, and fell on peter. Not that you minded. You looked up at him, and into his eyes. He was already looking at you, with wide eyes, and a blush adorned on his already rosy cheeks. Giving him a thankful smile and a quite ‘thank you’, you got back on your two feet and stood awkwardly next to each other.
“So, anyone wanna play ‘who’s gonna die first?’.”, you had recived ludicrous and surprised faces at the suggestion. The cabin was once again awkwardly and filled with silence.
“Tough crowd”....
__________________________________________
“Alright, so you’re going to be taken in by a man who was generous enough to take care of all of you until the war has ended. Do not give him any trouble, or more than he already has for taking care of all of you. Especially you (y/n).”, Mrs. Pevensi had given you a point stare. To others, she’d seem a bit strict, but to you, you could tell she had said it dripping with amusement.
“Of course i will cause him troubl-, I meannnnn.”, chuckling to yourself at your “mistake”. Which had earned you another pointed look. Although this one seemed real.
Breaking the silence with a groan, you had accepted your fate and had pledged, like a Girl Scout, to Mrs. Pevensi that you wouldn’t cause any trouble to the old man.
What she didn’t know was that behind your back, was your pointer and middle finger crossed over each other, and out of her sight. You had to contain your smile when you saw peter looking at you with a smile of his own, having seen your crossed fingers and had known what it meant.
“Bye my dears!”, their mother looked at them sadly.
The train had started moving, and the siblings had deflated in their seats. Lucy looked up at peter sadly, “Will mummy be ok?” Having looked up from your conversation with Susan, you also stared at peter, awaiting his answer. When he had yet to say something, you had decided to speak up for him, since you could see Lucy becoming even sadder when she saw that her brother couldn’t answer.
“It’s alright Lucy. I’m sure she’s fine! Besides, you have us don’t you?”, soon receiving a small and innocent smile from the small girl, which had made your insides flutter and your cheeks to turn a beautiful light pink. You just wanted to squeeze the poor girl to death, UGH!
“Everything will be fine.”, peter reassured once more, looking up at you from his lap, where his hands had been neatly folded. He smiled at you, a smile that melted your heart, and made all the bad thoughts and memories in your head immediately vanish. His eyes were a deep and beautiful blue, that if they were hit by the sum, they’d look like a tropical ocean. You just wanted to jump in and swim in them for all eternity.
The same went for peter. He had fallen, and he’d fallen hard. He just loved the way she laughed so freely and carelessly, as if there was no war. As if there was only good in the world. And oh god, those beautiful and full pink/nude lips of hers, oh how soft they looked. He’d imagined many times How’d they feel on his. Or when he’d look at her hair, such lucious and curly/wavy/straight/shaved hair. That practically shined in the sun and looked so soft, that if he touched it, he’d never want to let go.
“PETER!”, shouted out a boyish voice right next to the daydreaming and love struck boy. Peter had to hold onto the train seat to steady himself from the shocking noise and having to comprehend what was happening. Turning towards the voice ready to fight for his siblings if needed, only to be hit in the face with his suitcase. “We’re here you idiot!”, Edmund, oh how he wanted to punch that boys face. But than it dawned on him, was he day dreaming for THAT long? He looked around to see if it wasn’t another stupid joke, and it certainly wasn’t, since he was the only one in the cart left. Everyone else was already outside and on the carriage that seemed to be for them.
Peter quickly grabbed his bag without any hesitation and ran out the train, jumping at the last step. He continued to jog all the ay over to the carriage where he was met with another smirk of the girl he adored. The mischievous look in her eyes as she had looked him over, head to toe, made his body feel as if he was shot by an electric bult. Oh and how his heart swelled. “Are you listening to me boy!?”, he once again was yelled at, which was caused, again, by day dreaming.
Peter looked at the new and unfamiliar woman who had just yelled at him, seeing that she had wrinkles all over her face, and practically radiated an aura of strictness and power. Something and someone he didn’t want to mess with. “Y-Yes ma’am.”, peter responded quickly with well learned manners.
“Good, now hurry up, we can’t keep the Professor waiting!” She said in an annoyingly shrill voice, that was already giving you a head ache. You rolled your eyes at her, but than looking over at peter and watching as he lifted his, seemingly heavy, suit case without breaking a sweat.
Biting your lip, you looked at his arms, and thought of some unholy things you could do with those strong and beautiful biceps.
“Oh, I’m gonna enjoy this.”, you had said to yourself as the carriage finally started to move, slowly, but surely moving. And you were right, you are gonna enjoy it, and you’ll make sure of it.
Tell me whatcha think in the comment, and if I should make a part 2.

Split Instincts
This is a little McHanzo fic that is inspired by the recent RP I was graciously allowed to spectate by @iblackfeathers and @plucky-pomegranate . They were kind enough to let me run with this amazing prompt! I plan to just post small chapters here on tumblr. Once they are all out and finished I’ll link to AO3. ;) I’m thinking about writing in more character development and FEELS.~~ >u< But, I just couldn’t keep this to myself any longer. Enjoy!! @iblackfeathers also made some rough sketches of Dragon possessed Hanzo too! *permission to post granted by artist*
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Synopsis: Hanzo is caught in an exploding facility while on a mission. Gravely wounded, he falls unconscious in the field and McCree and the others manage to get him back to base. The dragon’s sense his body’s struggle to stay alive and they know they have to do something. To help protect him while he is comatose the dragons take possession of his body and have a little fun whilst he is away.

^u^ Enjoy and PLEASE comment!! <3 I live for them!!
Hanzo is fatally wound, the whole left side of his chest is shredded and his lung is punctured and collapsed. He bleeds heavily, quickly losing consciousness. McCree finds him and calls for an emergency extraction. Tracer arrives and they escape under heavy gunfire. McCree is forced to Deadeye for the fifth time to ensure their safety. His eye vessels rupture and blood drips down his cheek. Genji helps him carry Hanzo on board the carrier.
McCree keeps watch over the other man closely. He tells himself it's because of the adrenaline and for Genji.
Angela and her staff are waiting when they land, they rush Hanzo to surgery. he flat lines on the table; three times. Each time Angela just barely brings him back. Finally, after a grueling eight hour invasive surgery he is stable and Angela moves him to an ICU unit and post a nurse outside the small room.
After receiving treatment himself, McCree waits for news on Hanzo. Hanzo is in critical condition. Everyone is denied access to his unit. All the team is allowed is the view from the Plexiglas window or visual update via Athena.
Hanzo lies near motionless, He could be mistaken as dead if not for the faint rise and fall of his chest. His face is marred by bandages, and dried blood. An oxygen tube extends from his throat and mouth.
An odd feeling blooms in McCree’s chest and he feels wetness in his eyes, in his confusion he shoves it away to the back of his mind and wipes away the tears.
He visits sparsely, once a day or so; trying not to arouse suspicion. After three days Angela bans him and everyone from the Unit. Hanzo was teetering on the brink of death and she only allowed authorized personnel in and around the room.
But his thoughts still wondered at night. “Athena.”
“Yes, Agent McCree?”
“Can you show me an update on Agent Shimada’s condition?”
“Yes.” A holoscreen appears in front of him as he raised up in bed. On it showed Hanzo still hooked up to many instruments. The eery beeping creeps to his ear. “Show me his vitals.” A second screen pops up, showing Hanzo’s heart rate, blood pressure, respiratory rate and a few more.
A sense of dread builds up within him. He fisted his hand in the sheets and then curled into them on his side. “That's enough Athena, thank you.”
“Yes, Agent McCree,” the holoscreens disappear, “Have a good night.”
Listening to the silence, he then closes his eyes and forces himself to sleep.
It's a week before Hanzo shows significant improvement. The flush of his skin returns bit by bit, slowly his breathing becomes more stable and on day thirteen they remove his indo-tracheal tube and replace it with an oxygen mask.
Angela announces she will reopen the unit to visitors only once he is awake, but access to the room is off limits till then.
That night, just back from a small recon mission, McCree finds himself standing in front of the window looking down at the sleeping man. He is relieved to see Hanzo's progress. Though the amount of relief he feels he doesn’t wish to think on. His eyelids droop, It’d had been a stressful but uneventful mission and he was tired. it’s well past three in the morning and he's feeling the weight of his body. The ache in his bones seeps deeper. His knee joint is ablaze demanding reprieve. ‘Just a minute,’ he tells himself as he sits down in one of the waiting chairs across from the window.  ‘I'll rest and then head back.’ He closes his eyes still keeping them locked on the movement of Hanzo's chest.
***
‘Master you are dying. Please allow us to save you. We will give you our strength and carry you where you cannot. Give in to us. We will protect you.”
Floating in the black abyss, Hanzo feels cold and yet he also feels nothing at all, his finger tips burn in the icy black sludge. He is scared.
‘I don’t want to die.’
He gives in, ‘Do whatever you must, by any means necessary.’
Whatever had kept him aloft broke away and he dropped. As he falls one thing comes to his mind, ‘Jesse.’
Then he hits.
***
Hanzo shoots up in the bed. Its blindingly bright, the sterile white room bathed in the sun's morning light sears his eyes.
‘Run!’ He bolts from the bed, not knowing where to go. The machines shrill in a flurry of beeping as he breaks his tubes and wires to them.
‘Hide!’ His instincts scream at him. He screams. He crouches among the hanging curtains, hiding away against the corner of the tiny tiled room.
A door sliding open sounds and footsteps near. ‘FIGHT, HIDE, RUN’
He cries out an call of pure distress, confusion swirling in his head.
***
A nurse enters Hanzo’s room as per usual. But they find the bed empty, equipment tubes loose and machines beeping erratically. Panicked they are about to press the emergency call button when they hear a quiet hiss sound off in the dark corner of the room. They creep hesitantly toward the wall of curtains. A figure lashes out at them as they reveal its slumped form. The nurse runs screaming out of the room. Soon, Dr. Angela walks in. “Mr. Shimada!” she ducks as a obscure piece of medical equipment is thrown at her. “Call for Ana!!” she says to a nurse coming into the room behind her, “we may need to sedate him. ***
A loud crash shakes Mccree awake. He sits up in the chair, back cracking. The morning sun shines harsh on his sleep deprived face. Two nurses fly past him and barge into Hanzo’s room. He follows them with his gaze. They file in carefully as if trying not to startle something. His eyes cast across the room and there, in the corner of the room crouched like an animal is Hanzo. Torn wires and tubes hang from the man as he folds in on himself and hisses at the staff attempting to placate him.
McCree surges up pushing a nurse out of the way of the door and enters.
Slowly he approaches Hanzo. The man is crouched low to the floor, hissing around his oxygen mask, and lashing out at the nurse nearest him.
“Angela what’s going on?” He asks as he passes her.
“I don’t know! My tech says they found him like this. He is going to reopen his stitches if this continued!” She says with desperation in her voice.
McCree kneels closer to the crouched figure.
“Hanzo,” McCree edges closer and offers his hand.
Hanzo whips around and stares straight at him. Then without any warning Hanzo closes the distance.
He pulls himself into McCrees space and nuzzles softly into his neck. Shocked McCree lightly wraps his arms around the man and strokes his back from neck to hip. Humming softly.
Hanzo makes a sound akin to a purr, if that was even possible and curls into him. But still remains jumpy and vigilant of the others in the room.
After a long few minutes the nurse’s attempt again to return Hanzo to his bed. They are met with growls, and demands for them to leave. Ana then walks into the room. “What is wrong, I was called and it sounded urgent.” she asks Angela with worry evident in her tone.
“Hanzo is behaving manically. I fear he may hurt himself or someone else. I called you to assist with sedating him.” Angela turns to the two men, Hanzo growls toward them still clinging to McCree; giving no sign of backing down or complying.
Angela sighs, “He will not let anyone near him other than Agent McCree. I feel it is an extreme but if you could use one of your darts-” a blue streak startles her as she turns back toward Ana.
“All I needed was your verbal approval,” the wise old lady says as she tucks her dart pistol back into her coat lining. Angela turns to see McCree softly laying a swiftly collapsing Hanzo on the floor.
She motions to McCree to return Hanzo to his bed. McCree nods.
The door clicks shut after the two women make their exit and he looks down in his arms at the man now curled completely in half in his lap.
***
McCree sits cross legged on the floor laying Hanzo’s head against his thigh. He sees Hanzo fighting to stay awake. His eyes close and flash open. McCree strokes his hair comfortingly.
“Hanzo, Darlin’, How you feelin?” He asks as he sweeps a pieces of hair from Hanzo’s face.
“We are content,” Hanzo hums as he drifts off succumbing to his exhaustion and the serum.
“We?” Jesse just stares down at him, stroking his hand over the crown of his head.

OUAT ReWrite: 7x22 - Part 8
I don’t know about you guys, but this is the chapter I was most looking forward to fixing. This is the scene, out of all others, that pissed me off the most and I am happy to do it right. Most things are open for interpretation but this is the one and only thing that I cannot meet halfway on. It was complete lazily written trash and needs to be treated as such.
... So, after taking a breathing and calming myself down, I bring you the latest chapter. We’re very near the end and, so far, I’m pretty happy with the way it’s turned out but who knows. You guys tell me.
Chapter Eight: Everyone Vs WishRumple & WishHenry
Even though he tried to hide it from them, Alice could tell Rumple had been crying. It wasn’t obvious but Alice probably knew him best out of everyone in the room, including his own grandson, and she could spot the signs almost as soon as he turned to face them when they entered the room. Alice bit the inside of her lip, wandering with Robin to the other side of the table as her father stormed ahead. She wanted to say something to him, but she also knew well enough to know it wouldn’t help.
Nothing would help now that the power of the Guardian was gone.
“Please tell me you have something,” Killian all but begged.
“We may be in luck.” Rumple explained, walking across the room. “As I did, this Dark One-” He reached for his spinning wheel, lifting off the end and revealing a small vial of a dust like substance tucked away inside. “-hid some magic for a rainy day.”
The others watched in silence as he poured the strange dust over his hand, rolling his wrist in order to cover the back of his fingers as well as the front of his palm. Immediately his skin began to glow a stunning golden colour, brightly enough to make Robin squint and temporarily look away while Alice found herself strangely transfixed with the sight of it. She could sense what kind of magic that was. After all, she had used it herself, but only once before when Rumplestiltskin was testing her to find out if she was really the Guardian…
Another pang of guilt hit her at the knowledge that the power was truly forever gone. She forced herself to look up, to pay attention to Rumple and her papa instead of her own worries. After all, if Rumplestiltskin could put those thoughts behind him while they dealt with his alter ego, then so could she.
“All I have to do now is get close enough to that…” He paused, looking at Killian and giving a small smile. “Crocodile, to rip his heart out. And this whole thing will be over.”
“Too late, dearie,” Came an all too familiar voice. Everyone turned sharply to find WishRumple standing patiently in front of the fireplace, grinning as he took a step forward, looking at Henry. “Already have it. An author. With a darkened heart.”
O*U*A*T
At the same time elsewhere, deep in the forest, WishHenry stormed furiously down the open path with two remaining loyal guards by his side. He had no idea how Regina had done it, but she had escaped his castle dungeons and taken over with her little team, including the alternative version of himself. They had even taken most of his guards with them somehow, though none of those who had returned to WishHenry’s side had explained how. All they knew was that they had been overpowered by a sudden new set of arrivals who charged in to save the Evil Queen from them.
“Split up.” He told his guards, pointing them off in separate directions with the two swords he held in either hand. “She couldn’t have gotten far.”
He came to a pause as they disappeared from his sight; turning into a slow circle and watching them go. He was positively fuming, knowing he might have been cheated out of his revenge after all this time. The more he thought about it, the angrier he came. No doubt it was powering WishRumple’s new little spell but WishHenry didn’t care. He didn’t care about any of those people. All he cared about was hunting down the woman who ruined his life and making her pay.
  “No need for the cavalry.”
WishHenry turned sharply to find Regina walking towards him. She was still dressed in those silly clothes he found her in, hiding the true evil he knew was beneath that meek and mild little expression she wore. It was pathetic. And it just succeeded in making him all the more angry with her for daring to pretend she was anything other than what she really was. A monster.
“I’m here.” Regina said, waving at herself.
“Turning yourself in?” WishHenry asked, then sneered. “Or are you here to mother me some more?”
“I know you might find this hard to believe, but there are people out there… A good, kind version of your family that can help you heal.” Regina explained, unable to help trying one last attempt to get through to him before it was too late. “Just as they helped me.”
“The only way I’m going to heal,” Henry said, advancing on her sharply and raising the sword to point at her throat. “Is by killing you!” He snarled, staring into her face. It annoyed him how unafraid she was. She just looked sad for him, and that was infuriating. She had no right to feel sad for him, not when she was the cause for all his pain. He paused, taking a step back and digging the second sword into the ground by her feet. “But I’ll give you a chance to defend yourself. ‘Cause I’m better than you.”
“Henry, I won’t fight you.” Regina said, feeling a crushing weight push down on her at the very idea of it.
“As long as you die, I don’t really care.” WishHenry said coldly.
Regina had been prepared to stand there in defiance, but then she hadn’t expected WishHenry to actually attack her. When she saw him moving in, she had no choice but to grab the sword in order to defend herself. Lifting it up just in time, she blocked the blow he threw down on her, stepping forward and pushing him back.
O*U*A*T
The others didn’t have much chance to consider what WishRumple meant, when suddenly the armour in the room began to shake and the wind around them picked up, knocking some of the more lighter objects from the shelves and onto the floor at their feet. They could all feel the magic building up and pulling at them, wiping at their bodies just as WishRumple waved his hand through the air gently in front of him. Suddenly all the books they had brought with them sitting on the table began to flip open in front of them, spinning through the pages without ever coming to a stop, and at the same time a series of dark portals appeared around the room behind each of them.
“What’s happening?!” Robin cried, looking around before she caught sight of the black abyss twisting behind her. She shrieked in surprised and moved forward at the same time as Henry ran back for her, grabbing her arms and pulling her to the table secured in the middle of the room.
The four of them reached out, grabbing onto the tables edge and clinging on as the force of the wind picked up around them and began pulling at their bodies. They all felt the magic trying to drag them back to their separate portals, so fierce and intense that it felt like nothing any of them had experienced before. They could almost feel the lonely threats that were hovering behind them. The promise of never having a happy moment ever again. And all the while knowing what lay in store which somehow made it worse as they fought against the future WishRumple was attempting to force onto them.
O*U*A*T
Regina wasn’t as skilled a swordsman as this version of WishHenry was, but desperation could take you a surprisingly far amount of way when you needed it to and she was able to duck down and spin around some of his worst blows that would have surely ended her. She lifted the sword to protect herself against his swings, trying to hold him back and struggling to keep up with the younger boy at the same time. All the while her heart felt like it was shattering with every attack he launched. She once again had to remind herself that this was not the son she had raised, nor the son who loved her. This was a new boy. A boy whom she had destroyed when she killed his grandparents and ran away with his mother. This was all her fault…
Regina forced those thoughts away. Robin from her dream had been right. She couldn’t change the past and she couldn’t wallow in self pity at her mistakes. All she could do now was try and make up for them here and now. To fix the bad she had done by bringing the good back into the world, starting with her son. The feather he had given her was safely tucked into her bra, right over where her heart beat rapidly in her chest. Regina took strength from the soft tickle against her skin and pushed on.
“Henry.” She said desperately. “This isn’t the way.”
“You don’t get to decide that!” WishHenry snarled, pulling his sword back and swinging at her again.
O*U*A*T
Rumplestiltskin wished he had magic back. Now more than ever before. He was so weak and helpless and couldn’t even do anything to help the others to get away. At this point he no longer cared what happened to him – he had already lost out for his chance of happiness – but the others – Alice, Robin, Henry, even Hook – didn’t deserve any of this. Unfortunately, without his powers, there was nothing he could. In fact he was left to do what he always did best; focus on his own survival. Like a true coward.
Henry reached across the table desperately as the wind picked his feet up right from the ground. He shut his eyes, thinking of Lucy and Ella out in the world, hoping they weren’t suffering a similar experience. Hoping they were somewhere safe with his grandparents and the others. As he focused on his family, pushing out the thoughts that this was all happening because of him, he found the strength tighten his hold on the table, but already his arms were beginning to ache and he knew he couldn’t last long.
At the sound of her love’s screaming, Robin glanced up. She was strong, but the magic behind her was stronger and she could barely hold on even with all her concentration and strength, but she couldn’t resist checking on Alice when she heard her cry. With the wind slapping her hair into the face and almost blinding her, Robin caught sight of Alice being lifted far higher than everyone else. Was it just Robin’s imagination, or was the magic pulling onto Alice harder than it was anyone else?
“Alice, hold on!” Robin shrieked, watching the magic pull at Alice so her fingers slid along the wood of the table.
It wasn’t her imagination. She could tell now, WishRumple was putting more magic into Alice’s portal. Maybe because she was The Guardian, or maybe because he knew she meant a lot to the RealRumple, or maybe just because he was going to pick them out one by one and happen to start with her. Whatever the reason, Robin couldn’t bare to let Alice slip into that portal and be alone. But she couldn’t let go of the table to help her either. All she could do was continue to yell encouragement and hope they found a way out of this nightmare before it was too late.
“Alice! No! Hold on!” Robin screamed over the roaring of the wind, trying not to look to where WishRumple was clapping his hands like a giddy child in front of them.
Alice was doing everything she could. She squeezed her fingers down hard but the magic wind was ripping at her body with such intensity, she could barely breath. She tried to will her own magic to work but she couldn’t concentrate enough. Not on holding on and using magic at the same time. She should have trained more. Should have worked harder at becoming a better Guardian. Instead she ran to live a happy normal life and now everyone was going to suffer for it.
By her side, Killian had his hook locked around the other side of the table, making it easier for him to hold on but even that began to strain against the pressure. He glanced towards where his daughter was screaming by his side, her legs lifted high into the air and her fingers visibly slipping. She wouldn’t be able to hold on for much longer and there was no saying when this torment would end.
Knowing what was at stake and the only way to keep her safe, Killian ignored the steadily growing ache in his chest and began to shuffle down the table towards her. This was what he had been preparing for. Somehow he knew it would come down to this. His life had been an endless stream of revenge and misery, either for him or for others. If he was going to end it, he was going to end it protecting the one perfect thing he had ever created in his life. His daughter.
O*U*A*T
  Their battle continued.
Regina was gradually losing the strength in her arms and her defence became weaker and weaker. It wasn’t just a physical toll, but an emotional one as well that weighed her down and made her sluggish. Even if he wasn’t her son, he looked the part and that alone was enough to feel like a real stab to her heart.
And then WishHenry was rushing at her, and Regina was barely getting her sword up in time. Their blades clanged together loudly and Henry suddenly caught her off guard as he twisted the pair of sword around against one another. With a firm flick of his wrist like a true pro marksman, suddenly Regina’s grip on the sword broke and it flew from her fingers, landing on the dirt away from them, out of her reach. It skidded across the ground and Regina immediately made to dive after it, only to stop when WishHenry’s sword lifted up and stretched out between them, forcing her to back up.
Then WishHenry was grabbing the front of her coat in his fist. He pushed her back against the tree so she was pinned and lifted the sword, pointing it at her face. Regina could have used magic, either to beat him or simply escape his hold but she wouldn’t do that. That was what she did when she murdered WishSnow and WishDavid. She ran away and left him with his misery and it was that misery that consumed and twisted him and led him to the man he was now.
Regina would not run away. Not this time.
“Henry… I’m so sorry.” Because what else was there left to say?
“You knew I wouldn’t listen to you! So why did you come here?!” WishHenry demanded angrily.
  “I had to!” Regina insisted.
“No you didn’t! What do you want from me?!” WishHenry shouted, his voice breaking slightly in his desperation for answers. It was just a slim sign that there was still some good in him but it gave Regina a great bound of hope.
“I just want you to know that you aren’t alone.” Regina said. “Because I know what that’s like too.”
“You deserve to be alone. And that’s how you’re going to die!” WishHenry snarled.
“I know-” Regina began, ready to give her last plea to the boy who looked like son. Her last plea for WishHenry’s soul.
“SHUT UP!” WishHenry shouted, pulling her from the tree and slamming her back again, winding and silencing her all at once. “I am done listening to you. You stole everyone I cared about, ruined countless of lives, and now you are going to finally pay for all of them. I don’t just do this for me. I do this for all the people you’ve hurt in your own selfish desires!”
Regina wanted to try again, but her back was bruised as she was struggling to catch her breath. And in that moment, she saw the look in his eye and knew it was over. This wasn’t her Henry. This was someone new. A young boy that was lost to her forever.
As WishHenry pulled back his sword for one last final swing – to give her the finishing blow… Regina tearfully shut her eyes.
At least she’d finally be reunited with Robin.
Maybe this was her happy ending after all.
  Peace.
O*U*AT
Alice let out one last scream as her hand finally slipped and he grip on the table broke. She cried out loudly as she felt her body lift completely up and fly backwards, a cold fear holding so tightly onto her as she realised what was going to happen, and she didn’t know how she would survive it a second time round. But then, at the last moment, she felt something suddenly grab onto her hand, pulling her to a stop. Her shrieking died down in relief and surprise, only to rise back up again as she saw what it was that had caught her. A familiar bright green glow shone in her face as she looked towards where her father had moved up just enough to reach out and grab her hand in time. His hook was still locked around the table, holding them both on, but now his face was twisted in agony as he gripped her hand so tightly, it felt like her fingers might snap.
“Papa, let go!” Alice shouted, not having to think twice about it. She couldn’t bare the thought of him dying, even if it meant giving up her happiness and returning to the loneliness of the tower.
In return, her papa didn’t need to think twice about his answer either. “Never!” He shouted, with such conviction Alice knew there was no point arguing. Even as the pain began to spread from his heart through to the rest of his body, he gripped her hand like there was nothing else in the wood, even while his hook pulling fiercely on the end of the table. It scratched and swung against the magic, but thankfully did not break and remained firmly locked down.
But even that wasn’t enough. He could feel Alice’s fingers slipping out of his grasp, no matter how tightly he clung on. Both of them were sweating hard and that mixed with the magic winds made it near impossible for them to keep their grip. Alice was going to slip free and then he would lose her forever to a fate worse than death.
O*U*A*T
  “Henry, stop!”
WishHenry froze just before he could strike and Regina’s eyes snapped open. She looked up and nearly burst into relieved tears and two familiar figures broke through the clear and stepped into the wide space around them. As they did, WishHenry released her, taking a stunned step back and staring at the two of them like he had seen a ghost.
  “Grandma… Grandpa…” WishHenry croaked.
“Henry,” Snow smiled sadly at him, sounding very out of breath. “You don’t want to do this.”
WishHenry blinked at her before shaking his head. “No. You’re not my grandparents.” He rounded on Regina, snarling and pointing the sword back at her throat. “You’re from her world! That other place!”
“That’s right!” David said quickly, holding out a hand and slowly walking around him, they had both put their weapons away on their quick approach and had no intention of drawing them again. “We’re not your actual grandparents… But we are a version of them.”
“And we’re here to stop you from doing something very foolish.” Snow said, walking around the other side, stepping closer than David dared and smiling softly at the young boy.
“Foolish?” WishHenry frowned, not taking his eyes off of Regina.
“Yes. Because it would truly be foolish, to darken your heart for the sake of revenge.” Snow said, reaching for him but stopping short when he moved slightly closer to Regina, the blade now pressing against the side of her neck.
“Why should I listen to you? You’re not my family!” WishHenry snapped. “She took my family! And now she has to pay! She killed everyone I cared about and ruined my life! And she’s ruined countless other lives as well!”
“Yes. Yes, she has.” Snow said quickly. “Regina has made more mistakes than anyone else. And she has suffered for all of them. She had taken people from their children, and then she had to live without her own son. And she has murdered loved ones and broken hearts. And in return she lost her own love.” Snow moved closer towards him. “Henry, Regina has paid more times over for her sins than anyone else.”
WishHenry wavered, glancing at her weakly. He couldn’t help it. When he looked at her, he saw his own loving grandmother. Though she was much younger, she had the same kind eyes and soft smile in the way that she looked at him.
“Put the sword down, Henry.” David said. He too, looked exactly like his real family. So much like the man who had taught him everything he knew about being a noble knight.
A noble knight who would never make them proud. Because these people weren’t his family. They were fakes. His real family was gone.
“Not until I kill her!” WishHenry snapped, rounding back on Regina who was frozen to the spot. She knew her life, and Henry’s, was relying completely on the Charming's.
“And then what?” Snow pressed, moving even closer until she could have touched him if she wanted. But she held herself back. She waited for the right time to close the gap between them. “And then what, Henry? What comes next?” She stressed the words slowly. When WishHenry didn’t answer, she went on. “Henry. If you kill Regina, then you get your revenge. But revenge wouldn’t make you happy. It won’t bring back your grandparents and it won’t fix the pain that is filling you up inside. It will only make it grow because without Regina, you won’t know what to do. Revenge is foolish but powerful and it can keep someone going until the end of time but once it’s gone, there’s nothing.”
WishHenry swallowed. He was shaking so hard, Regina was afraid he was going to cut her by mistake. “Then what do I do?!” He demanded.
“You heal, Henry.” Snow reached up, finally placing a hand on his shoulder. “The greatest revenge is to get your own happiness and you can only do that by letting go of the pain and allowing yourself to heal. I know things seem dark right now, and it feels like the pain will never go away and the world will never stop just throwing more misery down on top of you. But I promise you, that feeling is temporary. The world keeps turning, even while you suffer, and if you let yourself turn with it, then that pain will get easier to manage.” Snow squeezed his shoulder. “And once you heal, you can be happy, Henry. You can start your life a fresh. Do things right. Show Regina, and all other villains in the world, that their evil ways won’t affect you and they won’t stop you from living your life as a true and noble knight.”
Noble knight. That was what he was always meant to be. Noble.
Yet here he was, threatening to cut Regina down… But she deserved it! She took away his family!
“I lost my mother,” Snow said suddenly, drawing his attention back to her. “When I was just a child. Even younger than you. And then later my father and David lost both his parents too. We know the pain you’re in Henry. We understand how it feels and, trust me; I know what it is like to seek revenge. But it does not make you happy. It will never make you happy. The only thing that can is by being who you were always meant to be.” She stepped until she was right beside him. “A hero. One who does the right thing. Even if it doesn’t always feel like it.”
Tears had filled WishHenry’s eyes and he glanced at the woman by his side. She didn’t just look like his grandmother, but sounded and acted like her to, making it impossible for him to ignore her. “What if I can’t be a hero?” He asked, shakily.
“I know you can. Being a hero doesn’t always mean slaying the dragon.” Snow said quietly. “Sometimes it’s a simple… As setting an example.” She looked to Regina and smiled. “Sometimes it can simply be showing mercy. And forgiving those who wronged us most.” She looked back at WishHenry. “Be a hero, Henry.”
David moved up the other side of him, taking his free hand in his own. “We’re not worried about you, Henry. We both know you will do the right thing. We’re just here to let you know that you don’t have to do it alone. We may not be your real grandparents, but we are here for you.”
Tears were now flooding free, streaming down he cheeks as he looked between his grandparents, openly sobbing. There was a tense moment between the four of them as they all held still and waited before WishHenry finally slackened, dropping the sword down by his side without a second glance. Then he turned to the two grandparents he had lost and threw himself at them, bursting into tears against their comforting and familiar shoulders.
Regina felt herself relax and smiled at Snow over WishHenry’s shoulder. She watched grandparents embrace and comfort their alternative grandson. And even though Regina had been unable to get through to him… She was just glad someone had.
O*U*A*T
With one final scream building in Alice throat as she prepared for the inevitable, she knew what was coming next. Looking to her papa once more, Alice felt the tears fill her eyes, wishing she could say everything she was feeling… Instead, she could say nothing as she finally lost her grip, their hands breaking free…
Only for the portals to die down at the exact same time.
To Be Continued...
So the usual adding detail and thought but let's get to main change! The one I have wanted to do since I started this story. Fixing that complete and utter trash of a scene between Wish Henry and Regina.
Now, if they had Regina get through to Henry by talking him down, I might not have minded so much. However I refuse to accept the way they did it, which included WishHenry hugging her the woman who destroyed his life. But more than that, it seemed almost logical to have Snow and David be the ones to get through to him. Even Regina's line "but there are people out there… A good, kind version of your family that can help you heal" made it sound like it was foreshadowing Snowing showing up and saving the day. That just made the most damn sense to me! Have the grandparents Henry lost convince him to do the right thing... I am generally annoyed they decided to go with the fanservicy option of having Regina save the day even though it made no logical sense.
So I fixed it. I had Snowing come in and talk Henry down by reminding him of the man he could be and the grandparents they were to him. And I replaced that god awful WishRegalBeliever hug with a proper WishSnowingBeliever hug instead.

Mama Mia!
Tumblr media
“Alright, we need to get this done quick and easy. No foul-ups.”
Waluigi cackled as he coolly pulled up the collar to his trench-coat, leering at his brother, Wario.
Wario smiled, twirling his mustache, as he gazed at the Poison Mushroom Gun a shadowy figure had just handed him.
“You got dat?” the shadowy figure wheezed.
“Oh yeah!” Wario cheered. Waluigi laughed softly under his breath and offered polite applause for his brother.
“Good,” the shadowy figure smiled, lazily tossing a Poison Mushroom Gun to Waluigi. “Let’s ice this pesky plumber.”
“Come enjoy our natural wonderland! To which we’ve added the world’s finest resort facilities, spectacular amusement parks, and…succulent seafood.”
Mario moaned in his sleep as grandeur visions of fine fish swarmed his mind. His sweaty arms clutched his body tighter, smearing black greases and oils on his pink silk pajamas. The brothers had to resort to plumbing once again to keep their house afloat.
Peach had done a marvelous job at hiring a new guard that could better defend her from Bowser. But what that also meant is that Peach rarely went by Peach now. Say that name in front of her and Toadsworth was sure to chew you out. It was Princess Toadstool 24/7 now.
At long last, she possessed a firm control over the whole Mushroom Kingdom and was too busy to hang out with the Mario Bros.
And aside from the occasional threat from Fawful or Wart, there was no commercial need for an adventuring duo, hence the plumbing gig. It took a long time for the brothers to adjust to normal life. Luigi spent most of his time gardening.
Mario however, had a secret obsession. Traps. He couldn’t get enough of them. Reading about the exploits of others birthed a love he never knew he had in him. Luigi knew what Mario was really up to but chose not to say anything as Mario rigged traps all around their home. For Luigi had a secret obsession too: his brother’s happiness.
Awwww…how wholesome.
But dear reader, this is unfortunately not a wholesome story. What you are about to read observes death as a cold-hearted “fuck your parents, fuck your friends, fuck everybody” truth.
Are you ready? Alright then, well fuck your parents and fuck your friends, let’s-a-go!
Mario turned over in his sleep.
Falling…

“That is no son of mine,” Mama Penguin told Mario as he shivered at the base of Cool Cool Mountain. He had vaulted across broken bridges, scaled up a mountain, murdered countless evil snowmen, and sacrificed his very being to find Mama Penguin’s baby son who had gotten lost on the mountain.
“Mama Mia,” Mario forced through blue lips. Placing the incorrect penguin at his side, he implored the mother for better details as to which penguin was hers for they all looked the same to him.
“My son is my son,” Mama Penguin scolded. “I know him.”
Mario scratched his head. This was no help at all.
And then he heard it.
“WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!”
The bird had flown the coop. Or rather, walked to its deathbed by accidentally sliding off the mountain. Mario ran to the edge of the floating island, watching the baby penguin throttle into an endless abyss. Looking over his shoulder, he saw Mama Penguin staring blankly ahead of her.
“You find my son,” she ordered.
This was not Mario’s first scrape with death. He had stomped many a Goomba, stomped them so hard in fact that the coroner wasn’t able to properly ID them. Yes, Mario had done many fucked up things in the past, but this was a baby!
Hm. Okay, Petey Piranha was a baby too and he kinda killed him a few times but still! This was a bonafide “goo goo ga ga” styled baby!
What was a plumber to do? Rescue the baby? Impossible. He needed Mama Penguin’s Power Star so he could access the upper floor of the Castle and rescue his dearest Peach.
His Peach who no longer spoke to him…
“M-M-M-M-M-MARIO!”
Mario snapped awake. Something was wrong. Three shadows were taking up space in his bedroom, two of them stooped over the third. Looking down from his top bunk, he saw a Poison Mushroom Gun being pointed at the head of his brother.
Mario grimaced and jumped off the bed, pivoting in midair until his butt faced straight down, and plummeted into the head of the tall shadow.
“WAAAAAAAAH!” the tall shadow yelped in a sharp voice. Of course. Walugi. Who else would stoop to such tremendously low levels?
Mario swung his bare foot into the air, kicking the stouter shadow in the nose. The pesky plumber’s sheer strength managed to send the shadow lumbering backwards into the wall. As he slammed into the wall, light danced across his face, revealing him as the ever vicious Wario.
What a surprise.
Wario pinched his nose and aimed his Poison Mushroom Gun.
Mario jumped over Luigi’s cowering body and punched Wario right in the gut. The greedy glutton groaned and doubled over, accidentally firing his Poison Mushroom into Luigi’s bed. Worthless.
“D’oh, I missed!” Wario cried out helplessly.
Mario considered taking out the gangly creeper behind him, but instead launched into a backwards long jump through Waluigi’s legs. As Mario soared over Luigi’s body, the two brothers grabbed hold of each other and flew backwards together.
Hitting the staircase to the living room with pinpoint accuracy, Mario was able to launch into a stream of backwards long jumps that warped them through the whole house in a second.
Mario could never explain these sorts of events; he just knew that if he did the right thing at the right thing, some sort of seam would be ripped throughout reality that he could take advantage of.
Mario swung open the front door, scanning the front lawn for signs of danger. Nothing out of the ordinary except that the Warp Pipe that could have lead them to Toad Town had been blocked by the head of a massive snowman.
They wouldn’t be leaving here any time soon, that was for sure.
Mario felt the ground move from under him as he was suddenly swept away, tossed to the grass beside the porch. He struggled to free himself for the clammy grip around him, but found himself being tugged under the porch.
“Shhh…” Luigi urged, rubbing Mario’s stomach. Mario cooed and let himself sink into the moist earth below their porch.
Luigi looked up as two pairs of feet stumbled across their porch, little bits of dust and dirt flying down like snowflakes.
Mario patted Luigi on the back and pointed between the cracks of the steps.
Waluig’s Poison Mushroom Gun was still loaded.
Luig’s eyes widened. He shook his head at Mario, hunching his shoulders, dipping his chin into the dirt.
Mario crawled up to Luigi’s spot in the muck, tracing out a strategy with his finger. Mario would come from the West side, Luigi from the East, and they would both Long Jump past Wario and Waluigi, confusing them, then spin jumping to the center where they could—
Luigi slapped a hand against the mud, turning Mario’s magnificent bastard strategy into two dimensional space, and shoved off of the ground, blindly charging at Waluigi.
Mario gritted his teeth, boosting himself up so his back was against the floor of the porch, but he couldn’t leave his spot. He couldn’t be as bold as Luigi.
It happened so quickly.
Wario and Waluigi gasped as they saw Luigi.
Luigi wildly leapt into the air, soaring through the darkness.
Luigi’s feet firmly planted into Waluigi’s smug face.
The two of them rolled about in the grass like lovers reunited.
And as Luigi stood up from the tussle and brushed himself off.
Waluigi aimed his gun at the back of Luigi’s head.
And Mario got out from under the porch.
And Luigi heard Mario shuffling and turned to face him with a smile on his face.
A smile that shone even from underneath his gigantic mustache.
And then Waluigi fired.
And Luigi died.
More specifically, Luigi’s eyes widened as his body shot six feet into the air only to intangibly drop through the Earth below them.
Mario tried thinking of something that could adequately express his grief, but only managed to come up with the war cry of “MAMA MIA!”
Mario vaulted across the lawn and landed at Waluigi’s feet. Waluigi arched his arm to snap the empty gun against Mario’s neck but he was too late; Mario grabbed ahold of Waluigi’s foot.
That was all he needed. Mario twirled Waluigi around in huge rotations by the ankle, gritting his teeth as he prepped his aim. Just outside of the perimeter of his property, Mario had set up some spiked bombs he saw being sold at low, low prices in a magazine he liked.
Releasing Waluigi with tremendous gusto, Mario watched the purple man fly out into the distance only to collide with a spiked bomb and explode.
Waluigi fell at the feet of Mario, screaming and writhing in agony, until he began twirling. Twirling so fast Mario couldn’t keep track of what he even looked like. Twirling so fast he blended in with the air around them.
Twirled so fast it was hard to notice when he disappeared from this world completely.
Mario licked his lips to taste the innards of his mouth. He needed proof that he was real and that this had just happened. He had just murdered Waluigi. A vile man though he was, and undeniably great at Dance Dance Revolution Mario Mix, this still didn’t feel right.
But soon Mario found himself licking dirt and grime from his lips as he caved into the weight of Wario. Mario struggled and writhed, but he couldn’t combat with Wario’s sheer strength. Maybe if Mario had eaten more garlic he could have competed.
Or maybe if Mario didn’t have to look into Wario’s tear-streaked eyes as he rubbed Mario’s face into the dirt.
“Waaaaaaah!” Wario whined in his usual manner.
Mario clamped his eyes shut, a tightness building in his chest; he was going to die but he was okay with it. Luigi and him could do some good plumbing for the Big Toad Up in the Sky.
Then lightness, a lightness that Mario had never known.
He reached up to touch his head but all he felt was hair. That wasn’t right. Where was his cap? Looking across the lawn, he saw Wario leaning against a tree and with the oil of Michael Jordan, casually spun Mario’s famous cap on his finger.
Hark! What a wretched fiend!
What was a man without his heart?
What was a plumber without his trusty cap?
Wario knew this chink in Mario’s armor and was being a cheeky garlic-ball about it!
That’s okay. Wario was only a long jump or two away. He could reach him.
Mario crouched down to launch into long jump, but screamed as his body pinched together. Nerves snapped all over. His vision faded.
He took one step towards Wario and groaned as the life was sapped from him, becoming vacuumed away by some phantasmal force. Dragging one foot behind him, Mario grimaced, the distance between him and Wario being larger and larger.
Falling again…the chest emptied itself, crumbling away into dust. A heart beat becoming slower and slower…
A baby penguin screaming for its mother as it fell to its death.
Chunks of cake sloshing about his mouth. Moist frosting sticking to the roof of his mouth.
Dear Mario…Please come to…
Piantas and Nokis dancing in the sunlight. An entire paradise bathed in glory, Shine Sprites twirling around Shine Sprite Tower.
…the castle. I have baked…
All the galaxies in the world united into one. A baby Luma making one last effort to let him live and succeeding. Sacrifice.
…a cake for…
After seven bad runs with different castles, finally the one that she truly resides in.
…you. Yours truly, Princess Toadstool.
Soft lips pressed up against his plump cheek. All the trouncing faced by Goombas and Koopas and Chain Chomps vanished as if they had never even touched him.
Peach!
Mario looked up, tugging down his imaginary hat, and threw himself on the spot of ground before him, bones cracking as he did so. He covered the spot as if he were trying to protect others from a grenade. And then he vanished.
“WAHAHAHAHA!” Wario laughed, wiping a happy tear from his eye having witnessed the death of his nemesis. And now good fortune was on his way; a whole mountain of gold had been promised to him for this bounty.
“It’s a-me! Mario!” a cheery voice decreed beside him. Wario raised an eyebrow in response and turned to face the source. Mario smirked as he yanked his precious cap from Wario’s weak grip, slapping it on his head.
While the pain did not go away, the gradual loss of life did. Mario was going to need to heal up with some coins after this battle, but his sheer force of will was going to carry him through this.
He had used a hidden warp pad hidden on his lawn you see, for Mario had a fascination with traps now. It was sort of his thing.
Maybe he would have to take up gardening now.
Because Luigi was dead after all. Wario killed Luigi so now Mario had to kill Wario I guess.
Mario grimaced and punched the tree beside them. Holding out his hand, a Mega Mushroom dropped into his waiting palm.
Wario gasped and tried to make a break for it, but Mario’s foot easily sunk Wario’s squishy behind into the grass. Holding Wario down with ease, Mario tossed the mushroom into his mouth and grew ten times his size.
As he grew, he made sure to lighten the strength of his stamping so as to not kill Wario. Yet. For Wario’s death needed to be a masterpiece.
“NO!” Wario shouted, trying to push Mario’s foot off of him, but as he became a mere ant to the gigantic Mario, Wario threw his hands in the air and shouted, “Don’t do this! He’ll kill you! Let me live and I’ll help you kill him!”
Mario blinked.
How strangely coherent of Wario.
Then spasms all over. A giant ball of ice had crashed into his head, cracking like a coconut on him. Mario fell from the sky, shrinking back to his normal size. And as the green grass rushed towards him, he saw a white painting getting curiously closer and closer to his face…
Mario tumbled into Snowman’s Land like a lazy no-good husband cast into the streets. The giant living Snowman Mountain stared down at him. While surely the mountain had no desire to hurt him, Mario still felt uncomfortable under his gaze. He plodded softly to the right, looking around at the old familiar terrain.
Before him was a lake of ice so cold it would scorch the bottom of the man who dared hop in for a swim. And directly above that lake was a sheet of ice that the Big Ice Bully used to challenge people on. But now the Big Ice Bully was dead and gone and hopefully, no adventurer had come here since and accidentally got stuck in the death trap below the ice.
“WAAAAAH!”
Wario had materialized behind him suddenly, scrambling across the snow. Shoving Mario to the side, he pinched his nose, leaping into the lake.
Mario tried to stop him but it was too late. Once one’s keister made contact with that ice, you were done for. Wario howled as he rocketed up into the sheet of ice only to bump his head and fall back into the burning lake.
This continued until Wario’s lifeless body made it to the other side of the lake, only to then slink back into the lake and dissolve slowly.
The night had begun with four. Now there was only one.
Then a pain like no other seared the side of his skull.
Darkness.
Mario’s eyes fluttered open to see a stretch of thin ice supporting him. He knew this place all too well, the bridge that hovered before the mouth of Snowman Mountain. Mere yards behind him were the lips of the Snowman who would blow a mighty gust of air that would sweep Mario right off the mountain.
And if he was there…and the giant Snowman was there…that could only mean…
“You!” Mario painstakingly pointed, voice cracking from such foreign vocabulary.
Two flippers slapped against each other softly.
“So you finally figured it out,” Mama Penguin sneered. “Yes, I hired Wario and Waluigi to eliminate you and of course, they failed.”
She gazed off the mountain, taking a quiet moment to embrace the amount of distance between them and the ground. That was fine. Mario needed time to think…
But he had no traps at his disposal and he was even weaker than before.
“You killed my son, Mario Mario,” Mama Penguin shook her head.
Mario froze mid-planning. What? he wanted to say, but such foreign words to him were too much of an effort to spout.
“Yes, I realized it years later, I was looking at my child and I realized that—he was no son of mine,” she said stoically.
But this was ridiculous! She told him that was the wrong penguin! She didn’t even care when he throttled to his death.
Oh if only Mario said more than “Mama Mia!” and “It’s a-me, Mario!” It would make this situation much simpler to navigate. His throat tightened as he tempted to explain his side, but lost all gumption as Mama Penguin began waddling towards him.
If he stayed put, she would push him into the Snowman’s breath and he would be hurled off the mountain. If he were to jump off the mountain to escape, he would surely perish.
He leaned to his left, right shoulder falling slack.
“Now I will kill you for what you did to me and my son, Mario Mario,” Mama Penguin explained coldly as she pushed Mario closer and closer to the wind.
Mario tried pushing her back but it was no use: she was too big for him.
Then it hit him. He had one last trick left. Running away from Mama Penguin, he approached the wind quickly and just as he was about to collide with the torrent, he turned on his heel, banged a U-ie, and charged at the deranged mother, ducking into a crouch and sliding right between her legs.
As she slowly turned to face him, Mario rolled to the edge of the bridge, his body failing him. It didn’t matter that he had his cap back on him; too much damage had been done.
Mario jumped as high as he could and crashed back into the ice with a mighty Ground Pound.
Fortunately his butt still had enough strength left in it to shatter the bridge and send Mama Penguin tumbling to her death.
As Mama Penguin throttled to the ground below, she felt the cold wind rush past her, brushing her cheek. This was how Junior must have felt.
Her son was but a baby when he died; she knew nothing of him beyond his demise.
Finally, she shared something with her son; the agony of having to helplessly watch your death unfold before you. At least Mario had given that to her in her death.
Mario strained to spit one of his catchphrases out as he watched Mama Penguin explode into bloody guts, but his chest prevented him. His whole body was caving inwards. He gritted his teeth and tried to pull himself up the cliff but it was no use. There was no getting out of this.
Remembering the taste of Peach’s cake in his mouth, he let go of the cliff, falling into his beloved’s arms, and she carried him to the spiky rocks down below.
Rolling green, twirling, thundering, screaming, spiraling all around. A sudden thud, his brain’s rotation lagging behind, reorienting itself with this new gravity.
Mario got to his feet, feeling completely rejuvenated, and saw Luigi touching up the lawn.
Mouth dry from screaming, Mario walked over to Luigi and put a hand on his shoulder.
How could this be? How could he still be alive?
He died. He remembered seeing the sky get farther and farther away.
Yet at the same time, he only knew he died. He couldn’t remember what it felt like.
His eyes narrowed in deep focus.
War. Death. Legacy. Rebirth.
Mario.
Another Mario.
That wasn’t him that watched Wario burn to death. That wasn’t him that held Luigi’s hand so tightly.
That was someone who gave his life so that he could be.
Somewhere out there, Wario and Waluigi were out there scheming again. They would be back.
Mama Penguin was a goner though. Surely she had no access to the Extra Lives System like the brothers did.
Luigi gently punched Mario in the jaw, taking off his sunhat to better look Mario in the eyes.
Mario saw the pain in Luigi. He must have felt it too.
Luigi reached out and grabbed Mario’s hand and squeezed it tightly.
“Mama Mia,” Mario finally let out.

[SP] A Chat With Death
“Oh, but my dear, we already made our bargain eons ago. That day you simply called me to remind me of my end of the bargain.” Death said plainly, in a somehow calming yet eerie voice.
“What do you mean? What deal?” I asked, still not too sure where I was. I knew I was here before though, that much was obvious…
“On our terms, I give you a bite of death each night.” Death pinched their fingers and sprinkled a yellow dust from them. “During that death, you sleep, your subconscious chooses which parts it wants to hold on to. Thus, each time you wake you are a new person, with whatever the ‘you’ of yesterday decided to hold on to.”
“Wait, so are dreams?”
“Why do you always ask that question?” Death’s shoulder’s slunk down as his palm rest against his skull. They let out a breath, “The dreams were your idea. You create them each night to have a little bit of life in death. What your subconscious shows you there is really none of my concern.”
I wondered for a bit why Death seemed to not be taking this seriously. But at the same time, I’m asking the embodiment of death why my dream last night had purple cats dancing around a wheel. That’s a better question for Jung I suppose.
“Well what’s in it for you then?” I asked now slightly more at ease.
“As you take death bit by bit and night by night, your human shell will decay. And when you’ve finally taken enough to experience the real thing, we talk.” they said plainly, now adjusting his posture and listening intently.
“Wait, am I dead right now? What do you mean what do we talk about?”
Death ignored the first question, now gazing absently into the void around us. “I ask questions to you about your life to see what you’ve learned from living. You tell me whether they are the right questions to ask about life.” Death turned their skull towards me, “Then, you ask questions to me, and I answer them. The questions you choose for me reveal whether you understand me or not.”
I turned to look into the void for the first time. It was the abyss, I believe, but I don’t read too much Nietzsche to say for certain. It was just everywhere, and we were in it. It was unclear what we were standing on, everything was just an endless black nothingness which also had the same qualities as an oil spill, iridescent seeping patterns and color from different angles. It was impossible to get a clear view of any of it, once I thought I did it was as though the patterns I saw no longer existed and it was just a different angle of nothing. “And If I don’t understand you” I ask, bringing my back to the present. If I can even call this the present.
“Then I will send you back into your garden with the same arrangement, but with a new body, time, family, and no recollection of this encounter.”
“if I do understand you?”
“That is but one half of the deal, my dear. I must ask the right questions about living first.”
“So what then?” I asked, only retaining pieces of what they were saying. Not because I wasn’t paying attention, it just felt as though my mind was sleeping off as easily as my perception of the void we were in.
“I forget how forgetful you are when you visit.” Death laughed, and put a hand on my shoulder “Simple darling, once life understands death and death understands life we trade places, forget who we are, and share the same dance we always have been.”
Oddly enough their hand on my shoulder felt quite comfortable. It was like being with an old friend. Then what they said hit me, “Wait, so, has this already happened?”
“It’s always happening!” Death waved their other hand towards the void. For a fragment, I could see a reflection of myself in one of the puddles of oil I thought I saw, and through that another reflection of myself looking down. “I see you’re still stuck thinking of time in a linear fashion?”
I started seeing the reflections of myself as different people I somehow knew, I almost couldn’t stop looking at it, but I forced myself away. “So, I was death?” I asked
“You are death, you are life. You are the violence and the love of your own life” They said with a kind of air as though I was just being knighted.
“Then what are you?”
“I am life and I am death, I bring you into the world and take you away from it just as easily.”
I thought about this for a bit. Weren’t they both the same? “I don’t understand...” I admitted.
“Then there is still more that you have to learn about me, and more for me to learn about you.” Death breathed out, I couldn’t help but feel like they were disappointed.
It started to feel like I was slipping backwards then death started drifting away, the fragments of iridescence started to increase, they all seemed to be stained glass windows changing shape and color and somehow melting into eachother and disappearing into something else or nothing. I pushed myself back trying to hold on to anything, but I didn’t know what was real.
“Wait!“ I shouted “You never answered my first question! What happened when I almost killed myself??”
Everything stopped and death turned back around. “You tried biting off more than you could chew, you asked me for a deal and I showed you what you have forgotten.” For some reason, it felt like Death was smiling even though it was just a skull. I couldn’t tell, but for some reason they seemed like they were recalling a fond memory. “You were not ready though, not even ready for a new body. I sent you back into your former and showed you how to die while living, farewell”
Death started to turn around once more, “One more thing!” I pleaded, “how does one die while living?” The words flew out of my mouth, they didn’t feel like mine, I don’t know why I had to ask that, but I knew it was from somewhere deep inside me.
Death beamed back at me, almost in surprise, “I tell every face once. I don’t like to take away the bliss you have every time you remember.”
Drifting backwards again I felt myself almost becoming part of the world I was in. Bit by bit it felt like my body was dissolving into patterns beyond my perception to describe. It didn’t hurt thought, in fact, it felt like I was finally stepping into a bath after a long and sweaty day.
I wasn’t sure if I still had a head or not, but I heard their voice once more in my head. “Thank you for helping me remember who I am,” Death said, “I hope I helped you remember who you are.”
And then I died, and I woke up.
