Not to get sappy but honestly, I'm very grateful for the Kirby franchise and the community, I was really struggling with art block for a long while before joining 🙏💕

Even though I've had my ups and downs when I drew like nuts and then go radio-silent, I still think 2023 was a really productive year for me ;v; 💖 Here's to more in 2024~

Day Two: Hoop Snake

“According to folklore, the distinguishing feature of a hoop snake is that it can grasp its tail in its jaws and roll after its prey like a wheel;which is similar to the ouroboros in Greek mythology or the tsuchinoko in Japan. In one version of the myth, the snake straightens out at the last second, skewering its victim with its venomous tail. The only escape is to hide behind a tree, which receives the deadly blow instead and promptly dies from the poison.“

My July Art Challenge 🎨📒✏️

For the month of July, I challenged myself to finish several art ideas I had left incomplete. These are only 10 of the final pieces, since some of them include imagery/collages with my real name or pictures of myself. I plan to do individual posts for some of my more in-depth pieces and show more of the timelapses and details.
