What is your favorite medium to work with?

Is there anything in your work you'd thought about drawing but decided not to for some reason (too difficult, didn't make sense, etc.)

I love your artwork and your writing!

I like the way my art looks when it's digital as opposed to traditional, but generally speaking I find drawing with just a pencil and paper more enjoyable.

And then there's the list of stuff I want to draw but either the idea no longer interests me or I'm just not skilled enough to draw it. Specifically backgrounds, I envy people who can draw backgrounds and make their art all atmospheric and shit. Give me that skill.

the only gouache i have of any quality is acryla gouache and while i enjoy it i always feel like im usin it wrong lol 😭 i think watersoluable gouache is more for the type of techniques i do, i only see acryla gouache used for colorblocked stuff which is soooo not what i like 2 do.. i do love the color range and matte opacity of acryla gouache (and the fact that my watercolors can paint over it unlike other opaque paints..) i have some money set aside for supplies so im gonna treat myself to some watersoluable stuff.. maybe i can learn how to use both to compliment eachother

I just found out about this tournament so Imma throw my hat in with Jo From lumberjanes who’s canonically Navajo and trans 🏳️‍⚧️ got a supportive system esp her bff and got two dads plus heavily nd-coded, I consider her to be excellent representation, she is super intelligent (esp in robotics, she memorized the lumberjanes pledge by heart, solving complex mathematical equations) and a natural bor de facto leader 🥺☺️🤩

she sounds so cool!!!! i kinda wish she was in now 😭 im also very tempted to check out lunberjanes now :)

Was thinking about the kiddads, Dipper and Mabel, and the Lumberjanes having like, a support group for 11-14 year-olds who dealt with weird mystical shit, but my imagining got side tracked by the weird meta conversations they would have about swearing.

Nick: So our fucking grandparents - Dipper: Wait...what did you just say? Jo: Yeah, what the junk was that? Terry Jr.: Sorry, no wait, what did you just say? Jo: What the junk? Nick: Yeah - Do you not have swears? Dipper: Do you not have Standards and Practices? Nick: Are you fucking kidding me? Hell no! Terry Jr.: Seriously though? "What the junk"? April: I'm not sure, we also use the names of famous women as interjections. I feel like this started out a way to make us able to reach younger audiences, but it just turned into a fun bit? Terry Jr.: Oh yeah, no. Our show just has a warning at the start of every episode that it's for grown ups. Grant: So should we be worried about the twins, Ripley, and Mable creating something very explosive but also very glittery?
