Hi there! Just found your Tumblr yesterday and fell in love with your writing style. Keep up the good work 👍
I had an Au idea I wanted to share. It's a Solo Leveling x SVSSS crossover au with some Shencest.
Basically, after he dies, Shen Yuan is reincarnated as a rare white cat spirit/demon child that can heal any injury and who's blood can cure any illness or poison. However, his race is believed to be a myth. (Of course until LHB finds & kills the last remaining one to cure his wife's incurable disease)
Anyway, SY is found by Sung Jinwoo, who promptly adopts the young cat boy seeing as there are no parents in sight.
SY being raised by sjw, Beru, Igris and the shadows.
SY likes to explore in his cat form often and one day, is picked by none other than Qiu Haitang (SY doesn't figure this out till later). Thinking SY is an ordinary cat, she takes him home.
While at the Qiu Manor, SY meets Shen Jiu. SY doesn't think much of SJ until he notices the bruises and scars carefully hidden underneath his clothes.
SY ends up staying at the Qiu Manor after witnessing SJ being beaten by Qiu Jianluo. SY reveals himself to SJ after healing the slave's injuries.
SY tries to convince SJ to escape with him, but SJ refuses, still under the belief that Qi-ge is going to come for him.
SY eventually snaps (likely when qjl attempted to sa SJ) and after nearly mauling qjl to death, SY grabs SJ and books it out of the Qiu Manor.
Afterwards, SJ ends up living with SY in sjw's huge mansion.
SJ ends up falling for SY and SY...being SY, is completely obvious to SJ's clear feelings for him. But you know who isn't? Beru! As soon as he notices, he goes into matchmaker mode.
SJ still ends up going to cang qiong mountain and a peak lord, while SY becomes a famed miracle healer as well as his well informed bestiaries.
This along with SY's status as the son of the mysterious, yet powerful cultivator sung Jinwoo causes, SY to gain a number of suitors, much to SJ's annoyance and anger.
Of course, SJ isn't gonna let anyone take his place by SY.
Ah yes, Luo Binghe, the human-shaped meteorite bringing about the 5th wave of mass extinction .
Anyhow, I think instead of Sung Jinwoo who decided to take home a cat to raise, it was either (or both) Beru wanting to have a pet cat or Shen Yuan deciding he needs a thigh to cling because being a wild animal is so much harder than he expected. He's only meant for a life of pampering and spoiling like a proper indoor cat, okay?!
And like a scum cat, Shen Yuan likes sneaking out during the day and finding a "second" owner to feed and pamper him (and who doesn't realize that this cat already has owners and thus is getting twice the meals). It just so happens to be the Qiu family that's his second family. The mistress family, if you will.
And that's how Shen Yuan meets Shen Jiu and forcible takes Shen Jiu away like a naughty kitten.
Although I'm not sure how in your AU a human is going to fall in love with a cat? I mean a demon cat is still a cat. And no where in this do you bring up a cat having a human form so...

sleep a little longer
Her hair strands swiftly dance about in between her fingertips after she had run through it from her head. The stress had seeped through her bones that she’d forgotten to even do a simple task of remembering where she needed to be. White papers and black script had clogged her head with utmost focus, not a single fly could bother her then. Minseo dances at the idea of closing her eyes just a little bit, to restart her mind and get things in order once again.
The last thing she hears were from the television near by— news of some directors of the company submitting their letter of resignation to the public, amidst her backhanded dealings with the group.
It must’ve been late evening when she woke up. Her body felt stiff as if she had been there for hours. She sprawls her body outward to stretch, the tension easing away as she scratches the head. All the legal documents greet her once more and she sighs. Grumbling was heard from the pit of her stomach and as she reaches for her glass, it was empty. She thought for a second if she truly needed to hydrate herself. The answer was yes.
The walk to the kitchen was nothing ordinary aside from a specific scent. She couldn’t quite explain it at the moment but she felt safe. Like this scent was safe. Though she didn’t remember how exactly she got there because the prominent thing she remembers now was drinking the water. It felt cold as it travels down her throat and she could feel it in her chest every time she drank. Minseo lingers around the window, the sudden paranoia of not being so close to be seen urges her to walk back a few steps. The glass had disappeared and she knew she placed it on the sink.
She passes by her favorite shelf in the house, tracing the imprinted orange peels on its side. Minseo checks if anything new had been left there, but she doesn’t even remember lately. So she leaves the pen she was using to sign documents earlier there. That too, had no recollection when she held it.
The home office was significantly colder when she got back. Sitting on the leather seat and wraps a blanket with a familiar scent— once again staring at stacks of legal proceedings of finding new people to replace— she places her cheek down on them like earlier. She bids to ‘rest’ her eyes one more time, noticing a birthday letter sat near by.
-
The sun streaks beams on her eyes as the television greets its viewers with a cheerful good morning.
The dream had settled and she could only remember the part of feeling coldness against her chest. She held the pen in her hand as if it was a weapon she intended to protect herself with. The blanket was on her, and it was one specific only to one room. She knew a sense of safety and ease was there. I can sleep longer there. It was like those times she missed Jinwoo, so she slept in his bed with his blanket wrapped on her.
Minseo drags her feet to go to the room that held the same scent as the blanket, basking in at the stillness of her own home. A finger taps to see if the door was locked, and to her relief, was not — but no one was there. That certain smell greets her from her dream, but none to clarify the moment. Soon after she snuggles herself on the mattress, felt weight by her head and another by her feet, Gunbam settling by the pillow and Honey comfortable in trapping her there. The dog tucks his muzzle under the pillow, hearing little sniffs while the cat was silent, offering a sensory experience with fur. There was a soft giggle in between the sheets, sighing in bliss as she felt the same as their house pets.
“Sorry… I’m filling in for Wenhan, okay?”

hello! can i request an astro individual scenario where they try confessing to the reader?
Thank you for requesting! 🥰
Myungjun:
Tumblr media
After finishing with his musical schedule, Myungjun, your friend you were there to support every day of his rehearsals, took you to a relaxing day. Sunday morning, sun’s up, he made some sandwiches and drinks for the whole day, taking you around the beautiful places in town, where there is a view almost as pretty as him.
You catch up with one another’s schedule and hard times you had through the past few weeks. “You know, I thought about you a lot during practice.” He says, swinging the basket he was holding and then taking a look at you. You do the same, yet surprised. -“You did?” Asking and taking a seat on a bench, full of spring flowers that fell off the tree behind.
“Yeah. You helped me a lot in my mind, so thank you.” He chuckles, taking the seat near you, “I have been thinking about it a lot now,” he’s slightly getting nervous. You look up at him, locking eyes. -“What is it? You can tell me anything.” “I like you y/n. You are always there for me when I need you, and even when I don’t ask for it, you always know when to find me. I like you a lot.” Your heart added extra beat when he said that sentence you needed to hear so badly, since you are going through hard time now, and didn’t even tell him about it.
-“I like you too Myungjun.”
Jinwoo:
Tumblr media
Sanha called you last night to invite you to jinwoo’s birthday party that will take place next week in the dorms, and ofcourse you agreed and even helped making the decorations, the cake and little gift bags for everyone.
The whole week you were walking around the mall and town with the boys, every day with someone else. You decided to buy Jinwoo several birthday gifts since you’re never sure if he’s gonna like the last one you bought, and every each of them helped with their own style.
Finally March 14 arrived, you have planned to spend the whole day with Jinwoo and come back to the dorms exactly at midnight, when it’s the 15 already. At first he didn’t want to finish the bowling game you were playing around 11pm so you faked a stomachache, and as you thought, he rushed to take you back to the dorm as soon as possible. It’s 12:02am, you missed the exact midnight because he was stubborn to take you to your place. “Jinwoo...” you whisper when you arrive at the dorms’ entrance, -“Y/n are you okay?” He asks when he notices you are completely fine suddenly, so you place your hand quickly on the door handle as a sign for the boys, and open it. “Happy birthday!” Jinwoo’s five best friends and you, his secret crush that only sanha knows about, shout, scaring the birthday kid. -“oh my god you tricked me!” Jinwoo shout at you with a smile, pointing at your stomach, you can see how he cared about you being in pain. “She planned this all, hyung!” Sanha says happily as you hit his arm playfully, turning red from the credit he gave you. “NO, SANHA, we planned this all, happy birthday Park Jinwoo.” You say and stretch your arm to get your gifts for him, handing 5 different full bags to him.
-“I... I have nothing to say... y/n, you’re amazing, you all are, guys.” Jinwoo stutters, “Just say you love her already hyung.” All of the sudden Sanha says, making all of you turn to him as he realized what he just said, Jinwoo slaps his own forehead with his palm. -“OH MY GOD.” Minhyuk interrupts quietly. “Yes, oh my god, SANHA WHAT THE HELL!” You yell at the younger boy, realizing he was speaking the truth since Jinwoo didn’t deny anything.
“What? You’ll thank me later hyung.” Sanha says nonchalantly and shoves a spoon full of cake into his mouth.
After you all ate cake and Jinwoo called you to his room, you didn’t feel uncomfortable talking to him, not even now, but you felt like your heart is going to leave your rib cage soon. “First of all, I’m so thankful for you making all of... this. You made me the happiest man on earth, you always do. Second, I love you.” He takes your hand once he says he confesses. “Third, Sanha is a dumbass I’m grateful for, because he made me finally say this. I’m sick of hiding my feelings for you, I want you to know it finally. I love you y/n.” Your heart race could be heard from miles away, -“I love you too Jinwoo.” You say back and kiss him on the lips, it tastes like sweet vanilla frosting. -“He was right, you are going to thank him later.” You finally say and kiss him once again, missing the taste of cake on your own lips.
Dongmin:
Tumblr media
“Y/n! Finally, I’ve been calling you the whole morning, anyways, we are going to the beach today, wanna join us?” Moonbin, one of your friends calls you when you wake up, peeking at your phone while he’s talking, 12 missed calls from him and Minhyuk. -“uhm, yeah sure? I just woke up so I’ll be there in like two hours.” You reply with still sleepy, crispy voice. “Alright! See you then.” He says and hangs up.
Arriving at the beach, it’s a sunny day in the middle of February, the cold breeze helps your hair tangle itself, and the lip gloss you applied doesn’t make the situation better.
“Hey! Lee dongmin!” You shout when you see the handsome guy sits on a beach towel, covered with his big coat. the others are missing in your eye sight. -“Y/n hii,” Dongmin looks up at you, offering you a seat near him.
“Thanks, are you cold?” You ask him while he’s deep in your eyes, smiling his charming smile that makes your heart flutter. -“Ah no it’s okay.” You say nothing but hand him a hot pack, he thanks you and brings it closer to his neck. “So... where is everyone?” Feeling kinda awkward, you decide to ask something to break the silence. Dongmin was your crush for 3 years, yet not long ago you decided to control these feelings since you don’t want to ruin your friendship, and still, your stomach fills with butterflies every time you hear his voice or look at him.
-“There they are.” He points behind you with his head since his hands are busy holding the hot packs. “You’re here!” Sanha shouts and quickly bends over to hug you. The others just greet you with excitement.
“Guys, why don’t you go buy something to eat?” Dongmin suddenly asks, you look at him surprised since they just came from somewhere. Jinwoo was the only one who got the sign and pulled the boys out of there.
“Y/n, I have something to tell you.” Dongmin softly says, stretching his arms to hold your hand. “I have tried to deny it, but I’m afraid I can’t. You already know where this is going, right?” Dongmin likes your clever brain, in fact, that’s what made him fall for you in the first place.
But you tried to convince yourself that’s not what you’re thinking, only because you’re scared to be denied.
-“I’m not sure...”
“I like you y/n, a lot, and you probably don’t want to ruin this friendship but I don’t mind ruining it with something bigger than that.”
Wow, your whole body twitched at those words of his. -“I’m pretty much shocked now, because I’ve been feeling the same. I like you too Dongmin.”
Moonbin:
Tumblr media
Your graduation party wasn’t like you expected it to be. The theme everyone chose was 80’ style, which was different from other proms you have seen.
“Moonbin, hi.” You say shyly when you get close to your friend, still refusing to believe these are the last days you see each other, and then every one goes on his own way.
He turns to you, wearing those shades that make you laugh at him. “Woah, dude chill with the coolness.” You giggle, sticking your thumbnail between your teeth. -“Well, you look wonderful too.” He laughs, grabbing the drink his friend just handed to him. “So... last day huh?” You sigh. -“Yeah,” he follows, taking a sip from what looks like non-alcoholic blue drink. -“Remember when we wished to finish school? Never knew it will be somehow sad like this...” “Yeah well, let’s not spend our last hours together like this upset.” You said, grabbing his hand to the “dance floor”.
All you have done is having fun with your classmates and friends, no getting drunk, no expensive suits and dresses, but good music and atmosphere. Moonbin was one of the last students who stayed there with you until after midnight, dancing till you can’t breathe no more from laughing so much. “Wow, that was a very happy ending, don’t you think so?” He turns his head to you as you pull skewers with marshmallows on it, hand one to him and hold it above the fire. -“I do, I still can’t believe we’re together for years, we went through everything, since 1st grade till now.”
“Y/n...” he whispers, realizing all of these things you just said. -“hmm?” You look at him, feeling too close. “I’m gonna regret it if I won’t say it right now,” he smiles a bit. “I love you.” Your eyes widen from his words, almost burning the marshmallows because you forgot them. -“I... Bin, I don’t know what to say.” You felt the same, but just couldn’t say those 3 words so easily. “Don’t say anything.” He shoves a marshmallow into his mouth and stands up, offering you his hand to do so too. -“Wait.” You stop him when he’s about to go. -“I love you too.” You immediately say and pull him closer for a kiss.
Minhyuk:
Tumblr media
“Minhyuk, where are we going?”
Your friend grabbed your hand the moment he heard from Myungjun that you are feeling a bit down these days, not able to accomplish anything you want. -“It’ll be fun, I promise,” he stops near his new car, and says with a smile, -“Now get in the car.” He opens the car door for you and you enter, noticing the comfort pillows he has in the two front seats. “Are you kidnapping me?” You say sarcastically, pulling the seat belt while he get in the car from the other side. -“If I would, you wouldn’t know.” Minhyuk smirks his usual charming smirk and drives off the parking lot.
The ride wasn’t too long, it was full with both of your laughter, loud music and screaming because he almost bumped into a cat. -“Were here.” He takes off his seatbelt and says, walks out first to open your door again, like a real banal gentleman. “Starbucks? Oh come on, do you wanna tell me what’s going on? You never take me here, or anywhere alone.” You weren’t lying, he never hangs out with you alone but only with another mutual friend of yours, today he felt like he doesn’t want you to feel unwell so he decided to take you on a ‘friendly date’.
-“So you’re actually saying you want me to take you alone more often?” Here’s that smirk again, and he laughs it off. The place was very beautiful, spring atmosphere it is. He told you to sit near one of the tables with a pretty view while he’s ordering the drinks.
You sat there watching the view, glancing at you handsome friend from time to time, wondering why he buy you drinks all of the sudden, he’s the type to ask you to buy him a drink usually.
-“There you go, and... this.” He places your favorite pastry near the beverage, which makes him more suspicious. “Minhyuk, stop wasting your money on me. What is it with you today?” -“Just shut up and drink.” He laughs, gosh his smile made you forget everything you are going through. You take a bite from the sweet muffin (or whatever you like to eat) and thank him about it. “Okay but seriously now, why are you so good to me toda- I mean, you’re always good but today there’s something different.” Your friend rolls eyes at your stubbornness and sighs. -“Myungjun hyung told me you are having hard time.”
Not enough for you, still, he’s hiding something. He could tell you’re having a hard time several times this year, and yet, this has never happened before. When you both finished drinking and chitchatting about life, the usual conversations with Minhyuk, you went out to breathe some fresh air. There was a beautiful park (minhyuk hehehuhu) nearby so he walked you there without you to notice. -“Actually, I do have something to tell you, but this day was supposed to cheer you up, I don’t know what you are going through, but you know you can always talk to me, right?” He suddenly starts to walk slower, puts his hands into his denim jacket, he looks down on the leaves and then up at you. “Yes, ofcourse, but don’t worry about it. Ah, what was the thing you wanted to tell me?” You ask, locking eyes with him from time to time, it feels great to look him in the eyes like that, he’s shining. -“I’ll just say it like that, right away.” He lets you know first, -“I care about you, I like you, actually.” The way he said those words was like he planned this for a while now, but it came fluently from the bottom of his heart.
“I knew it!” You fist your hand, -“You did?” He asks in confusion. “Yeah, I mean no I didn’t but I hoped so.” His smile appears again, -“hoped... Does that mean you like me too?” His heart beats can be heard from where you were standing. “Well, you know me best, so I guess you know the answer.” You reply and take his hand in yours, intertwining fingers.
Sanha:
Tumblr media
“Yoon sanha! Give me back my camera!” You shout while running after the 10 feet tall guy that every step he makes equals to 3 steps of you.
He runs so fast until he can’t no more and gives up, breathing heavily while holding onto his knees. -“Take your camera, it doesn’t worth your embarrassing pictures.” You grab it right after he says, searching for the pics he was taking of you while eating and talking with the others. “Oh my god Sanha you’re gonna pay for that.” You tell him while panting and looking at your own awkward moments. You didn’t like to see yourself while talking, kinda insecure about it, but he didn’t know it.
“Both of you stop and let’s go eat.” Dongmin appears behind the two of you, scaring you both since you didn’t expect him to be there.
-“Ah! Hyung!” Sanha screams as soon as he hears Dongmin’s slightly deep voice, following him to where you were sitting all together in the first place. “Open your mouth.” You held a fork with lightly burnt, hot, potato stuck on it, making its way to Sanha’s mouth. The others just looked at you shocked, and you didn’t get why. “What?” You ask, sticking the fork in another piece of potato, that’s his favorite thing to eat, especially on camping trips. -“You would make a great couple someday.” Jinwoo says and the rest of them agree. “What? Ew, no he’s my best friend.” You know Sanha is close to you so wouldn’t be offended by your words, even though he wanted you to be more than his bestie.
Time passed and all of them went to sleep, except for you and Sanha who stayed up late singing songs while he plays the guitar. “Did you really mean what you said earlier?” He suddenly asks, looks like he does care about that. -“Which part?”
“The one with the ‘Ew’, do you really mean it?” His voice lowers. -“What? No Sanha, ofcourse not. It’s just, you know what they are going to say if I’d said otherwise. Why does that bother you?” He grabs the Polaroid camera from earlier, handing it over to you. “What-“ he cuts you off. -“look at the third picture.” You take it and roll the gallery to the picture he meant, it was you; but a finger heart at the bottom of the picture. “Sanha, I don’t get-“. -“I like you y/n, more than a best friend. And I wish Jinwoo’s words could make a reality.” Wait... what? “Yoon sanha, are you kid- you’re speaking the truth.” You realize since you recognize his serious face. “I, actually, said what I said earlier... because I was starting to feel the same feelings for you, and I guess I was too scared...”
-“So, you like me back?”
“I guess- I do.”

If You Do. 25 A Day At 1Million
CHARLIE
Students had already started to arrive when I got to the studio. The sun hadn't long risen, it was only about 7.30, they all looked nervous, today was their monthly evaluation. We don't do it for all students, all of the choreographers select a student who they believe is right for the position and would be a good fit for our team, but no one knows who picked which student that way when we vote on the candidates it's fair. Basically, they would perform their routine, then after everyone had performed us, choreographers, we score them on different aspects and then we will have a meeting and after discussing the candidates and their scores, we will also would look at how they are in class, how they interact with both students and choreographers, and then if we all agree on a person we will offer them a position.
We don't always have a position available so usually the evaluation is groups of students that are in the more advanced classes, it's a good way for us to keep an eye on who we want when there is an opening and it gives the students an opportunity for individual feedback and tips on who they can improve if necessary.
"Morning," Austin hurried towards the exit.
"Where are you going? We start monthly evaluation in half an hour,"
"I lost track of time and then fell asleep, I've been here all night and Mary needs breakfast, I'll be back in time," he waved me off.
"Hey," Koosung winked following after Austin.
"You're leaving too?"
"I'm driving him," he nodded and they both left.
Mary was his cat, and I was pretty sure that if anyone pampered the cat as much as I did, it was Austin. He adored Mary and was always buying her things, one year he got her flowers because she was his valentine.
I shook my head making my way towards the Choreographers lounge, which was really just our staff room. It was a little more modern than what you would expect from a normal staff room, but most of us spend a lot of time here so May J Lee and Bongyoung had made sure that we had a nice place to unwind and relax.
I wasn't expecting anyone to really be in there, most of them would either be on their way in or setting up the dance room for the evaluation. But as if the cosmic universe was laughing at me, Shawn and Doobin were sitting at the table together, Shawn was eating cereal and it looked like Doobin was just in here to bother him. Or was it just me that he bothered?
"Morning," I nodded walking in, putting my bag down on one of the chairs.
"Okay, other people are here, time for you to go," Shawn ushered his brother out. Students weren't technically allowed in here but most of us just overlooked it when it was Dooin because he was Shawn's brother. Shawn however usually kicked him out when other choreographers came in.
"It's just Charlie, she doesn't mind if I stay for a while, right?"
"Shouldn't you be stretching for the evaluation?" I raised an eyebrow.
Usually, I wouldn't care that he was in here, but given the fact that he was once again sleeveless and that I was still trying to avoid him like the plague. Also, the fact that his brother was in here, I didn't really relish in the idea of him sticking around.
"I've already stretched," he shrugged,
"I think that was her politely saying get out," Shawn stated as he spooned cereal into his mouth.
"Seriously?" he raised an eyebrow at me.
"Seriously, go stretch. You wouldn't want to mess up your routine because you didn't warm up properly. Especially when a choreographer position is on the table," I nodded.
"Go on, out you go," Shawn gestured towards the door. Doobin rolled his eyes but got ups from the table and left the room.
"That was kind of rude," Junsun called over the couch.
"What?"
"He's your brother, you don't need to kick him out. He's a good kid,"
"Right," Shawn pulled a face I tried not to laugh at.
"Are you an only child?" I questioned.
"Yeah,"
"I thought so," I nodded.
"What's that supposed to mean?" he frowned at me.
"It means that siblings are beyond annoying, and you don't really understand it unless you have them," I shrugged.
"That's a nice way to put it," Shawn nodded.
"How would you put it?" Junsun asked as Jinwoo entered the room.
"It's kind of like having kids of your own to look after but they're not your kids and you have to parent them anyway because their actual parents don't want to anymore, I'm pretty sure that's the only reason people have more than one child," Shawn stated.
"You love your brother," Jinwoo stated sitting down at the table.
"That doesn't mean I have to like him," Shawn shrugged.
"Are you voting against him today?" Jinwoo asked pulling an apple out of the fruit bowl in the centre of the table.
"I haven't decided yet,"
"Bro, come one, he is one of the best dance students we have, the kid has talent. You can't keep voting against him just because he's your brother," Jinwoo stated.
"I can't vote for him just because he's my brother,"
Doobin had come up a few times during the last couple of monthly evaluation meetings,  and basically, everyone wanted to bring him on board but Shawn, who always voted against him. I'm not sure if it was because he didn't think Doobin was ready for that responsibility or if it was because Shawn wasn't ready to give it to him. Either way, Doobin would have been on the payroll months ago if Shawn had of allowed it. Not that Doobin knows this, I don't think it would go down well if he found out either.
"Seriously?" Jinwoo frowned.
"Shawn has a point, it's not like the other students don't already think he gets special treatment because he's Shawn's brother," I pointed out.
"Which is funny because he's the hardest on the poor kid," Junsun mentioned.
"There is a reason for that," Shawn commented.
"You're a hardass?" Jinwoo smirked.
"When has he ever been a hardass? Is like 2 foot tall and has the most adorable smile," Thea smiled walking in the door.
"Coming from the midget herself?" Junsun shot back.
"What are you doing here?" I frowned.
"Shawn forgot his phone, I thought I would drop it off on my way into work. Also, I brought coffee,"
"Are you two a thing?" Junsun raised an eyebrow.
"We sleep together," Thea shrugged.
"We're not dating if that's what you mean," Shawn stated.
"Oh good because you can do so much better,"
"Sure, let's pretend you know what standards are," Thea retorted.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Junsun frowned.
"I'm off, or I'll be late," she waved leaving the room.
"Why are you friends with her," Junsun frowned.
"She's not," Shawn stated.
"Right, you're related. I feel bad for you,"
"You slept with her," I pointed out.
"Not by choice,"
"Oh, she forced herself on you?" I raised an eyebrow.
"Can I say that she did?" he seemed to contemplate the idea.
"Stop picking on her," Shawn rolled his eyes.
"Ew, do you like her?"
"I don't not like her, I would date her if..." Shawn was cut off by Junsun.
"If she hadn't of slept with everyone you work with?" he offered.
"I was going to say if she was interested," Shawn frowned at him.
"No, you can't date her," I shook my head.
"Why?" Shawn frowned confused.
"Because if you two date and break up it won't be a pretty break up  and I will still have to work with you,"
"But they can sleep together?" Junsun frowned.
"Having sex doesn't mean they have feelings, there is no commitment and no jealousy. Besides, you dance with too many girls to date Thea, she is crazy,"
"And Thea sleeps with too many guys,"
"Dude," Shawn frowned at him.
[Page Divider]
"The room is ready," Emma, one of our receptionists, poked her head into the staff room.
"Thanks, Em, " Austin returned her smile.
"Let's do this," Koosung stood up.
"Do we have too?" Junsun sighed.
"Yes, we need a new choreographer," Jinwoo nodded.
"Can't we just pick a name out of a hat?" Junsun continued to whine.
"I mean we could but then there would be complaints about how it was unfair. Besides this is the only way we can be sure that we get the best candidate,"
"I just don't want to have to watch your candidates botch their choreo, it's just sad," he shook his head.
"We'll see about that," Shawn stated.
"Anyone care to make it interesting?" Austin suggested.
"How so?"
"The person who has the candidate with the lowest score has to pay for lunch?" he shrugged.
"Deal," most of them agreed.
"Okay, let's go," I shook my head.
"Are you scared you'll lose?" Junsun raised an eyebrow.
"I know I won't lose but I also don't see the point in gambling on children,"
"You're such a buzz kill," he pulled a face leaving the room.
"Awe, you don't kill my buzz," Koosung slung an arm over my shoulder.
"You kill mine," I shrugged him off.
"Are you seriously still mad?" he whined.
"Yes,"
"But why?" he continued to complain as we left the staff room.
I noticed Doobin in the hallway, pressed up against one of the other students, his tongue down her throat. Rage bubbled in my stomach.
"This is a dance studio, not a brothel. You're here for an evaluation of your dance skills and ability to teach a class, not make out with one another," I snapped.
"Sorry," the girl mumbled with a frown.
"Oh relax," Doobin rolled his eyes.
"You're first," I stated.
"Fine,," Doobin shrugged.
"Not you, her," I pointed at the girl.
"Someone is grumpy today," Jinwoo commented.
"Didn't sleep enough?" Austin asked.
"Are we here to question my sleep pattern or to find a new choreographer?" I raised an eyebrow walking into the dance room.
Emma and a few other reception staff had set up the dance room for evaluations which really just meant that there was a line of tables for us to sit behind and score the dancers. There was ten of us so there were also ten dancers, today was a little different from their normal evaluation because we were seeking a new choreographer which meant this were a little harder. We scored them differently and the had their backs to the mirror wall so that they couldn't wa text themselves. We noticed a lot of dancers never practised without the mirror which threw them off focus when they had to perform on stage.
Once we were all seated and settled, I got up to bring in our first dancer. Only because I didn't know her name so I could call her in and none of the boys wanted to get in the way of my apparent bad mood.
"Okay, you're first," I pointed at the girl who instead her face invaded by Doobin's tongue.
"I'll go first," Doobin offered.
"No, she will, " I stated seriously.
I would have felt a little bad for the girl if I wasn't so annoyed. She looked like a deer caught in headlights. She was practically shaking, but due to the fact she was just making out with something that is mine, I didn't really care.
I walked back to my seat without looking at her. The boys frowned at me, which I just shrugged off.
"Name," I asking without looking up.
"Huh?" she squeaked. I looked up at her, she looked terrified.
"What is your name?" I repeated slowly.
"Oh, Uh, Alissa," she stammered.
"Well, oh, ah, Alissa, show us what you've prepared," I stated in the most emotionless tone I could manage.
"Oh, okay," she nodded turning around. One of the reception staff started the music. Alissa began dancing but didn't turn around. I signalled for the Receptionist to cut the music.
"Oh, what happened?" Alissa frowned.
"Why are you facing the mirror and not us?" I asked.
"Um, well I focus better when I'm watching myself," she mumbled.
"You do realise that you're essentially auditioning for a teaching position? How are you supposed to teach a class of students when you have to focus on yourself?"
"Why don't you just try again, this time facing us?" Austin offered kindly.
"Why bother? It's fairly clear that she has only practised while facing the mirror,"
"Dude, you're scaring her," Junsun frowned at me.
"Maybe your legs are scaring her," I retorted.
"Enough, everyone is quiet. Alissa, try again. Music," Jinwoo stated.
"You be quiet," I mumbled.
Alissa began dancing again, I didn't say anything until she had finished, instead, I just noted things down. Like when she misstepped or paused because she forgot her choreography. She almost tripped over her own feet twice and the whole time she was either looking at her feet or worrying about what I was doing.
"Comments?" Jinwoo asked.
"I think that you made a few mistakes but clearly you're nervous, I've seen you in class and normally you're a lot better than today," Junsun stated.
"Look, I understand that you're nervous but it's clear that you only practise in front of the mirror. I would work on practising without the mirror so that you'll become more comfortable in your steps," Austin added.
"Is this your first time being evaluated for a choreographers position?" Shawn asked casually.
"Yes,"
"Well, it was too bad for a first attempt, I don't really have any other comments that haven't already been said, good job," he nodded.
"I'm scared to ask, but Charlie?" Jinwoo asked.
"I think that this isn't Dance Dance Revolution and if you were coming in here expecting the choreographer's position then you should have been more prepared," I commented without looking up.
"Thank you, you can go," Jinwoo stated.
"Could you have been harsher?" Austin asked.
"Yes," I shrugged.
"Someone needs to get laid," Junsun commented.
"Well good thing it's not you because you won't be getting any," I retorted.
"Neither are you by the sounds of it," he muttered.
"Annie, can you send Doobin in next please," I ignored his comment.
"Why Doobin?" Shawn frowned.
"Because he was next in line," I shrugged.
"Yeah, we should probably get you criticising your brother out of the way sooner rather than later," Koosung commented for the first time.
"I'm more worried about the criticism that's going to come from Charlie, she's a bit moody today," Junsun stated.
"To be fair, the criticism towards Alissa, though it was a bit harsh and slightly hostile, it wasn't wrong. I don't know which one of us picked her but she was not prepared for something like this," Koosung defended me.
"Don't defend me," I frowned as Doobin made his way in.
"Name," I asked.
"You know my name," he raised an eyebrow.
"The camera doesn't," I pointed towards the tripod.
"Doobin," he replied flatly.
"Music," I stated.
Doobin frowned at me and missed his cue. I raised my hand to signal they stop the music. I head one of the boys sigh at me.
"Are you going to dance or just stare at us?" I raised an eyebrow.
"Who pissed you off today?" he retorted.
"Doobin," Shawn frowned.
"I was just asking, students don't normally leave this room in tears," he commented.
"Why are you focusing on another students reaction to feedback rather than focusing on actually dancing yourself?" I questioned.
"Like you haven't seen me dance before,"
"If you don't wish to audition, then please leave and stop wasting our time," I snapped.
"Can we have the music back please," Austin stated before Doobin could retort.
Doobin rolled his eyes but started to dance to his music. Everyone at the table seemed fairly impressed with his performance. But unlike everyone at the table I had seen that routine several times, enough times to know that some of his timing was off and that he wasn't putting the effort into it that he normally does.
The song finished and one by one all of the choreographers complimented him, including Shawn which shocked everyone else, especially Doobin.
"Charlie?" Junsun asked, honestly I think he was just getting a kick out of my criticizing of other people.
"Your timing was a bit slow and I felt like you kept it too basic, I think he is capable of more difficult moves but instead you appeared to be performing a routine from a beginners class," I stated without even looking up at him. I didn't really need to look up to know he was annoyed though.
"Jesus," one of the boys mumbled.
"Thank you, can you send in the next student?" Jinwoo thanked him.
"I think we should be removing someone before she makes every candidate cry," Austin commented.
"Austin, shut up," I frowned at him.
That's basically how the rest of the evaluations went, someone came in, danced horribly and I gave my opinion. Honestly, none of them seemed good enough to bring on board as a choreographer. Except Jacob, he came in a danced better than the rest of them.
"Are you kidding me? The one time Shawn agrees with the rest of us about Doobin being ready to be brought on as a choreographer and you're against it? That poor kid can't catch a break," Austin frowned.
"Okay, ignoring Charlie's opinion, what does everyone else think?" Jinwoo asked.
"I think it's going to have to be between Doobin and Jacob, they were by far the best two," Koosung stated. Everyone else seemed to agree with his opinion.
"So how do we decide between the two?" Eunho asked.
"We hear Charlie out, everyone else seems to think they both deserve the position. Why do you think Jacob should get it and not Doobin?"Jinwoo asked.
"Jacob danced well, he gets along with all the students and the other choreographers and he has a natural ability to teach," I shrugged.
"And Dobbin doesn't have any of these qualities?" Shawn frowned.
"I didn't say that," I shook my head.
"Then why are you against Doobin today?" Austin asked.
I couldn't exactly say that I was being a little petty sure to the fact he was making out with a random student with absolutely no talent in the hallway.
"Look, he has the talent and is more than capable of running a class. But I think that he has a little bit more maturing to do before we should give him that chance. Let's be honest here, he can have a bit of an attitude, especially when someone says something to him he doesn't like, his attitude earlier proved that," I shrugged.
"You were being a bit of a moody biatch though," Junsun stated.
"Even if Charlie was being a little harsh he shouldn't have commented like that, he is still a student and he should take the criticism without an attitude," Jinwoo agreed.
"Mmm, I would hate to see what would happen if he had a disagreement with a male student," Shawn nodded.
"He's not stupid, he's not going to fight a student, not if he's in a position of power," Austin defended.
"Do you think he would sleep with a student?" Junsun asked. I clenched my teeth to stop myself from commenting.
"He doesn't sleep with them now," Austin pointed out.
"He was making out with one as we walked in here," Jinwoo pointed out.
"Yeah, probably to throw her off her concentration, I'm sure he would have made out with Jacob if he'd thought it makes a difference," Austin continued to defend.
"So, we have a decision?" Jinwoo asked.
***
"Can we get on with classes now?" I asked from the couch in the staff room.
I had been sitting in here being picked on for being so harsh on the students. I think they were just mad that Jacob was getting the position over Doobin.
"Let's go," Koosung nodded.
"What?" I frowned at him.
"We are teaching the begginers class today,"
"No, our begginers class isnt until next week,"
"It was next week, then we switched with Austin,"
"Since when?"
"Since last week, Austin's mum is flying in today, you don't remember this?"
"This is literally the first I'm hearing about it,"
"She wasn't there bro, you said you would talk to her about it and then changed the roster,"
"Whoops, clearly I forgot," he gave me a nervous laugh.
I sighed. I wasn't exactly a fan of beginners classes, but on the plus side, neither was Doobin so at least I wouldn't have to deal with him.
"Fine, let's go," I rolled my eyes.
"Are we sure she should be teaching a beginners class today? She was harsh to our advanced students," Junsun commented.
"Your shorts are harsh on our advanced students," I retorted leave g the room.
"Are we doing the same class as we would have next week? Choreo wise?"
"Unless you have another set," he shrugged.
"No, that's fine," I shook my head.
There was a substantial line outside the classroom, then again there normally was when it was a collab class with me and Koosung. Apparently, the students loved our chemistry, a lot of them had bets running to see how long until we date, some are sure that we're already dating. I'm sure they would all be disappointed if they were to find out that that is never going to happen.
"Come in guys," Koosung swung the door open.
I stood next to him as I watched the students walk in. Doobin smirked walking past.
"What are you doing here?"
"I asked Koosung if I could assist, It would be good for me to learn how to teach, don't you think?" he stated.
"In," Koosung ushered him inside.
Alissa followed behind him which sent my rage levels rising, then I saw a face that sent them through the roof.
"Stop," I put my hand out before she could walk into the classroom.
"Charlie," Koosung frowned.
"What?"
"You can't just stop students from walking in,"
"I can if I know her,"
"You know her?" Koosung looked at the tramp in front of me.
"Unfortunately," she rolled her eyes.
"Why are you here?" I snapped.
"Dancing looks good on a model resume," she shrugged.
"Then go to someone else, you're not coming into my classroom," I stated.
"I already paid, for 3 classes," she smirked.
"Then get a different teacher,"
"Charlie," Koosung hushed.
"What? She's Sam's crazy ex-girlfriend. The psycho probably stalked me here,"
"You think too highly of yourself," Bianca retorted.
"You know what? Fine, why don't you join the other students? Just remember that you're a student, and I'm a teacher and I don't tolerate rude comments. If you don't behave you will be asked to leave," I stated.
"Whatever," she rolled her eyes.
"Look, I don't know what's going on between you but the second you walk through that door you're to show the teachers nothing but respect," Koosung backed me up.
"Sure thing, teach," she battered her eyelashes stroking his arm.
"I'm going to kill her," I stated through clenched teeth.
"You can't kill a student," he frowned at me.
"She won't be able to keep up with basic moves, hopefully, she'll trip and kill herself,"
"She can't be that bad,"
"If you don't want me to cold-shoulder you again, don't take her side," I warned.
"You really don't like her huh?"
"No,"
"Are we going to start the class or are you two going to keep flirting out here?" Doobin poked his head out the door sounding less than pleased which actually made me more than pleased.
If he was jealous now then he as going to hate this class.

Okay so @elviras-angel said I should make the bias list thing so I'll just count that as a unanimous vote on yes I should do this
(Also if anyone knows how to make a keep reading thing on mobile, please tell me because Google is not helping me)
So here it is! Biases, bias wreckers, and why some of them are my bias.
I do have a bias for all the groups in my description and I have a bias wrecker for those I'm stanning fully. I'll start simple:
BTS
Bias: RM
Bias wrecker: Suga
I don't know if I've ever explicitly said it, but RM is my bias in BTS. BTS was the first K-pop group I ever got into and so picking a bias wasn't "hard" in the sense of "I just picked the one I recognised first." That member just happened to be RM. After a while of understanding things about biases, I thought to myself "Is RM really my bias?"
Yes. Yes he is.
Pentagon
Bias: Yuto
Bias wrecker: Kino ()et's be real, they all bias wreck me. Kino is just the main offender)
I mean I have already explained why Yuto is my bias but if you never saw that, basically I saw him and was like "this is my baban now" and here we are. Yuto is my ultimate bias because no one can make me squeal out of adorkableness more than my little bap can. Also he raps great. Like really great. I love him. Also YUTODAAAA--
Got7
Bias: Jackson
Bias wrecker: Youngjae
Now. I'm a sucker for soff children like Youngjae, he bias wrecks me with both his singing and his dorky ways. However, what I love more than that is a loud and soff dork. Jackson is exactly that: he's loud (incredibly so) but he also has his soff moments too. Also his solo music is amazing and his rapping voice is so cool I love it so much. AITE AITE AITE AITE AITE--
Blackpink
Bias: Lisa
Bias wrecker: Rosé
Lisa just rocks, man. Lisa is a lot of fun to listen to when she's rapping, and her rap in AIIYL sold me. She's also super cute and I probably have an underlying celebrity crush on her. In case you haven't realised yet, I tend to tilt towards rappers in the groups. It's not intentional at all for the most part. Sure, some of them became my secure bias because of their rapping but a lot of it was based on personality first. WHICH BRINGS ME TO-
Tomorrow X Together
Bias: Huening Kai
Bias wrecker: Yeonjun
Weren't expecting that, were you? As far as I know, Huening Kai is the only vocalist on my bias list (along with my 1TEAM bias but I'll go into that later). He's just so cute and fluffy and sweet and loud and HYUNGS GIVE HIM BACK HIS BUNN-- NO BEOMGYU THAT IS NOT A HA-- SOOBIN NO STOP LAUGHING AT THE BUNNY IT ISN'T FU-- BEOMGYU STOP DANGLING BUNNY BY THE EARS IT'S--
1TEAM
Bias: BC
Bias wrecker: depending on the day, either Jehyun or Rubin
BC is primarily a rapper. That's why Huening Kai is the only vocalist on this list. BC may also be a vocalist but it's kinda like a side job. Anyway BC had me sold the moment I found out he has a cat (From/Prom (one or the other) is Rubin's cat, BC's cat is called Shy) because I found it hard to find any idols who had cats (that I knew of I'm really bad at research). On that note, go stan 1TEAM their line distribution is actually perfection (Jinwoo is main vocalist so he was gonna get a few more lines, and he didn't get a large amount of more lines anyway)
Day6
Bias: Brian Young K
Bias wrecker: Jae
Finding my Day6 bias was kinda hard. Actually I thought I'd have Jae as a bias to begin with from my intuition, but I guess you could say that Young K deciding to shoot me with his charms was not what I expected from him. It was a really funny experience when I first listened to Congratulations because I was turned away from my phone while the MV was playing so when he started rapping I got so confused because "Is this Jackson? I thought I was listening to Day6," then I turned back to my phone and "OHMYGOSH YOUNG K YOU ARE MY BIAS NOW."
(Kinda sounds like I only picked YK because I was already a Jackson stan but I promise that isn't the case, I just really like him)
Stray Kids
Bias: Han
Bias wrecker: Changbin
I actually couldn't decide who my bias was between Han and Changbin, but Han's "aegyo" song on Weekly Idol (you know the one) left me dying and gave him instant access to my bias list. Then I watched their elimination show and the Matryoshka performance they prepared for the JYP vs. YG showdown? Basically a battle of the bias list. Han prevailed in the end but Changbin gave very strong arguments of "MAAAAAATRYOSHKA" and "YAAAWW" that almost swayed me. Almost.
NCT
Bias: Taeyong
Now we're on groups I'm not fully stanning. So I haven't gotten into NCT because I'm really bad at putting names to faces (I think it took me a month to stop calling Taehyun Soobin and that's from a group with 5 members. 21 members is bound to be a disaster). I just know Taeyong is my bias, this is the only one I'm most certain with. Remember when I said a bias' singing/rapping isn't always what sways me? Yeah this is one of those other times. I had watched a bunch of NCT stuff before listening to any of their songs and thought Taeyong, Doyoung, and another member (I forget who) seemed like the ones most likely to become my bias and I was like "Well Taeyong is the floofiest person ever maybe he'll be my second ever vocalist bias."
Then he started rapping and the rest is history.
Twice
Bias: Dahyun
Dahyun does rap. Dahyun is fun. Dahyun has that creepy ability where she can find and camera that may or may not be pointing at her. She scares me a bit with that, and I think that's why she's my bias. Also she pretty. And OOOOOOOO, CH-
Red Velvet
Bias: Wendy
Not gonna lie, this is out of pure intuition. I haven't gotten into RV much but I love their music so I will get there (eventually). Until then, Wendy is my bias.
So that's it! Sorry if a group you stan isn't one I stan. Actually, I might know of them and am trying to get them into the slowly stage (e.g. Monsta X, (G)-IDLE, CLC, and Loona are some groups I really want to get into), I just haven't had the time to sit down and get to know them. I think I could maybe put Monsta X in the slowly stage now that I think about it...
You may see there are more boy groups than girl groups and my response to any questions about that is IDK man. It's probably because I'm more of a fan of rap heavy songs even though one of my favourite songs ever is The Truth Untold which is literally a ballad.
Finally, if there are any groups you think I should stan, let me know! I'm always up for suggestions. Whether I'll act on them is another story, but still! Tell me! I want to know your groups. If you want to do this as well, do it! Tag me so I can see because I wanna learn about you guys too! Until next time...
This is Tsuki, signing off!

imagine: you’re drunk out of your mind and jinwoo takes care of you
Tumblr media
the rain pours as you open the car door. “bye sooyoung!” you shout as you messily get out of the car.
“sure you don’t want me to take care of you?” she chuckles as she watches drunk you trying to listen to what she says and stand properly at the same time.
“nooooooo it’s fine.” you say. “jinwoo is home.” you giggle as you think about his adorable face.
“poor boy, you shouldn’t bother him while he’s sleeping.” sooyoung laughs.
“he doesn’t mind when it’s me.” you pout. you finally notice how wet you’re getting. “oh no i’m so wet!” you gasped. “i have to goooo.” you say as you shut the door without even saying goodbye, and you start running towards the door. sooyoung shakes her head as she startes the car and drives off, not bothering to deal with you anymore, and knowing you’re safe.
you walk up to the door, and as you turn on the handle you notice it is locked. you sigh as you start checking your pockets after the key, and your heart stops when you can’t find it anywhere. well you probably lost it at the party, and jinwoo has lost so many keys himself he probably won’t care, but the fact that you are so fucking wasted is making the situation much worse.
you feel so terrible, but you know that jinwoo always keeps the back door open for you when you go out. you start walking around the house, and you see all of the lights are off. you start feeling bad for making noise when jinwoo is sleeping. you start thinking maybe sooyoung is right. maybe he minds.
you walk around the house and you arrive at the porch. you were right, the lock was down. you smiled as you opened it, and you locked the door after you. you looked at the couch, and ray and bay were embracing each other while they were sleeping. your heart just melted at the sight.
you started walking towards the kitchen to grab a glass of water. your balance didn’t exist at the moment, so you grabbed the kitchen island to balance yourself as you walked towards the sink. you thought you were being a pro at being quiet. you opened the door to the cabinet, and as you were taking a glass the glass fell down the sink.
the noise was so loud and luckily the glass didn’t shatter, but it was loud enough for both ray and bay to wake up and run out of the room.
you froze. okay, even if ray and bay woke up didn’t mean that jinwoo woke up. maybe he’s fine.
“y/n?” you hear jinwoo’s sleepy voice call out.
you keep standing right there, not daring to make a move. maybe he turns around and goes back to the bedroom.
as you focus so much on standing still, you almost fall backwards. you manage to save yourself from falling by grabbing the table, but it certainly grabs jinwoo’s attention.
he walks into he kitchen, and you freeze. “what? you’re soaking wet y/n!” he says as he walks fast towards you, and he grabs your face with the both of his hands. “you’re freezing jagi!”
you pout. “it started raining and it wouldn’t stop.”
“how did you get home? why didn’t you call me?” he said as he moved your hair away from your face. “i told you to call me when you wanted to come home.”
“yeah but sooyoung said i shouldn’t bother you so she drove me home.” you say as he still has your face cupped in his hands.
“god don’t listen to her, you know i never mind helping you.” he says as he strokes your cheek. “now come with me to the bathroom.”
he grabs your hand and you quietly follow. he walks into the bathroom and he grabs a towel and a few more things. “come in here.” he says as you stand outside the room. you step in and look at yourself in the mirror. your eyes widen at the sight of your ruined makeup, making you look awful.
“this is the moment i truly know that you love me, when you still take care of me even if i look this ugly.” you say as he grabs make up wipes and starts taking off your make up.
he laughs. “well i owe you after you took care of me the time i got wasted with my members and started puking, so.”
“so that’s why? because you owe me?” you ask sassily.
he stops. “no, it’s because you’re too adorable for me to resist.” he smiles.
you lightly hit his chest. “cheeesy.” you sing.
he startes wiping off your makeup, and to get better access to your face, he puts his hands under your thighs and lifts you up on the washing machine. you giggle as his hands leave your thighs, and he finishes taking off your make up. “i’m going to get you some dry clothes.” he smiles as he walks out of the room, and it feels like forever until he gets back.
“you can’t even take your clothes off? i have to do everything?” he jokingly says as he starts taking off your wet jacket.
“i feel like a wet cat now.” you say as he throws your jacket on the floor somewhere.
“you’re more like a dog i saved from the streets.” he says as he montions you to lift your arms up so he can take away your shirt. “and tomorrow i’m returining you.”
he takes off your shirt, and he takes the towel and startes drying your arms, chest, stomach and back. “wow you’re really wet. did you have any fun over there?”
“yes we had so much fun!!” you suddenly get excited when you think of tonight. “we had this drinking game and seungyeon had to do this thing where she called her ex and i was dying. and then we went to this bar and i was so wasted, but there was this rude ass dude hitting on me and it was soooo annoying, but i burned him everytime and i made him feel so stupid because my heart belongs to jinwoooooo” you sang the last part as you wrapped your arms around his neck and lean on his shoulder.
he laughed. “good to know.”
you smile as you look up at him. “aren’t you ever worried when i go out? of people hitting on me or something?”
“why should i? i trust you. i mean i worry of people hurting you or trying to do something against your will. but i know you wouldn’t ever cheat on me. i know you wouldn’t do something to hurt me.” he says as he smiles at you.
your faces were so close to each other, and you noticed he looked down at your lips. “you know you are really adorable.” you giggled.
he started laughing. “you’re embarrassing me.” he laughs as he continues drying you. “take off your pants.”
you stand up from the washing machine and you start taking off your jeans. “why? it’s true.” you say as you take them off and kick them somewhere. you put your hands behind you on the washing machine, trying to jump back on the machine. jinwoo helps you with lifting you up on it again. “i bet you’re the most beautiful human being on earth.” you say as wrap your arms once again around his neck, while he continues to dry you.
he just laughs as he hides his face.
“no jinwoo i’m serious, i bet you’re the most beautiful human being to ever exist in this world.” you say as you put your index finger under his chin to lift it so you’re on the same level. “i’m so lucky.”
“and drunk.” he says, and you giggle.
“still lucky.” you smile.
“i’m going to get you a glass of water, change clothes meanwhile.” he says, and as he walks out of the bathroom you change into his t shirt and new underwear. he walks back in with a glass of water. “you want to go to bed?”
“i bet you’re tired so yeah.” you said as you jumped off the washing machine. “i’m sorry you had to wake up to take care of a stray dog.” i said as he held my hand and we walked into the dark bedroom.
“well you’re my stray dog, so it’s okay.” he says as he lays down on his side of the bed, and you next to him. he chuckles. “not sleeping on your side of the bed?”
“no i wanna cuddle with you.” you say as you put your head on his chest and put your arm over his stomach. he stiffs under your touch. “wow you’re so cold. i have to warm you.” he chuckles as he turns to his side and wraps his arms around you. your feet tangle together.
it turns quiet. the rain outside gets more violent as it crashes against the roof, filling the room with the sound of the impact. “jinwoo?”
“yeah?” he replies.
“can we go to imjado?”
“sure. but why do you want to go to imjado?” he asks.
“i want you to show me all the places you almost burned down.” you reply, and he starts laughing out loud.
“yes i will darling, i’ll show you all the places.”
“how many places are there?”
“more than you can ever imagine. now go to sleep, you need lots of sleep to handle your hangover tomorrow.”
you pout. “okay then.” you close your eyes, and you fall asleep shortly after in jinwoo’s arms.

eclipse chapter 1!!
Dongmin paced around in his room. There's no way Sanha is the sun, there must be no way. He's probably just insane, Dongmin thought. As Bin walked into Dongmin's room, he laughed. "Still can't get over Sanha saying he's the sun?" Bin asked. Dongmin had been too lost in his thoughts to hear Bin. Dongmin finally got back to his senses and looked at Bin. "Well, you don't have to believe everything Sanha says. Sometimes, he can be a bit insane and nonsense. It's probably one of those times again." Bin said. Dongmin thought. "Yeah, I guess so." Dongmin said.
As Dongmin spent the rest of his day in his room, he also spent all day trying to figure out whether Sanha was actually the sun or vice-versa. But, even if what Sanha said was true, the rest of ASTRO wouldn't believe him, nor would they even pay attention to him. Dongmin knew that; everybody knew that. Dongmin knew that taking Sanha's side while Sanha spewed absolute nonsense would get them both punished. And, of course, Dongmin knew that; everybody knew that.
Sanha would call himself the 'Star of Shine', but nobody believed it. Not even Dongmin himself. But, Dongmin raised suspicions that this was true, when he heard Bin calling Sanha 'Star of Shine' in the hallway one day. Dongmin didn't believe anything Sanha said at first, but now, this may have gotten real, and that Sanha is trying to say something. Of course, it left Dongmin with the urge to find out who Sanha really was. Dongmin wasn't the type of person to completely abandon an ongoing case - in his eyes, of course.
Then, Bin called himself the 'Bright Night-rock'. And just like Sanha's problem, Dongmin didn't believe this either. He just thought that Bin and Sanha made up really silly code names - those childish men, Dongmin thought. He had wished that the past Dongmin would've just believed it, he just wanted his past self to believe it. Everyday, he'd roam recklessly around the block of the Fantagio building, muttering to himself, "Lee Dongmin. Everything is false. You must not believe Bin and Sanha. They're just playing."
'They're just playing.'
Dongmin wished that he'd never lie to himself like that ever again. Dongmin knew that Sanha was serious - including Bin - from the very start. He'd just mentally make up excuses to lie to himself. One day, when Minhyuk accused Dongmin of breaking Myungjun's phone - which he actually did, he just said, "Sanha did it." - Sanha, poor Sanha. Every time Dongmin did something and cause a scene, he'd just frame Sanha for almost everything. Sanha wasn't the kind of person to fight back at an accusement. One day, Jinwoo took note of this and raised suspicions.
Of course, Dongmin had finally surrendered one day, and apologized to Sanha. Dongmin had been very bad at lying, so that's why Jinwoo noticed this immediately. Sanha had Dongmin as his favorite hyung, but out of the blue, lately, Dongmin had been rude to Sanha. He suspected this was because of a weird mutation in the universe's stars, which was announced months ago. Every time he saw a star, Sanha would wish for his hyung to be nice again. Dongmin had heard Sanha's wish one day, and started to tear up and become more nice to Sanha.
"Sanha. Where is my phone?" Dongmin asked, staring into Sanha's eyes. "I don't know." Sanha shrugged. Dongmin grasped Sanha's shoulders as Sanha let out a small yelp. "Liar. Where is my phone?" Dongmin asked. "I-I don't know!" Sanha repeated. Dongmin's grip on Sanha got harder and firmer. "You're just lying to me. Last time I saw my phone, you were on it. Where is it?" Dongmin asked. "Hyung, that was Bin-hyung's phone. I don't know anything!" Sanha's voice got louder. Dongmin then punched Sanha, which got everyone's attention.
"Dongmin! Why did you do that? Sanha wasn't lying!" Bin yelled. Dongmin looked at him. "He wasn't lying?" Dongmin asked. "Dongmin, we didn't raise Sanha to lie." Myungjun said. "Okay then." Dongmin huffed and walked away. "Hey! Lee Dongmin! Apologize!" Jinwoo yelled. Sanha was still on the floor, getting up and grasping Jinwoo's arm. "Hyung, no.." Sanha coughed as a small amount of blood trickled down his jaw. "Sanha, it's not alright! Dongmin just punched you.." Jinwoo pulled his arm from Sanha and walked towards Dongmin's room.
Dongmin wished he should've done it, yet he did. Dongmin never gave back Sanha the love Sanha deserved. Dongmin would be cold, sometimes he'd not. It was confusing to others, but to Sanha, it was normal. Dongmin was not that understandable, and he was not that normal. Nobody could decipher his weird moans in his sleep, nobody could even understand what he says during breakfast. They thought it was just because Dongmin just woke up - but it became a habit. Moaning in his sleep, mumbling in the morning. It was abnormal.
"Hyung! Dinner's ready!" the faint voice of Bin yelled from downstairs. "Coming!" Dongmin yelled back. The pressure overcame its fear of Dongmin, as Dongmin started sweating. Will Sanha forgive me? Dongmin paused for a second. His hand that once overlapped with the door handle he retreated, as he got worried. The thought of Sanha being mad at him scared him. The once happy Sanha, turning into the mad and cold type. Dongmin wouldn't want that, no one would want that. They all wanted Sanha to be extroverted and warm-hearted, just like how Dongmin used to be.
"Hyung! Come down!" the used-to-be faint voice of Bin got louder. "Coming!" Dongmin yelled. Then after a while, Bin slammed open the door. "Hyung, the food is getting cold. Come here!" Bin tugged at Dongmin's sweater. Dongmin sighed and followed after Bin. Suddenly, he stopped in his tracks. "I'll just fix the stuff I left in my bedroom." Dongmin said. Bin scowled. "Fine. Make it quick." Bin sighed. Dongmin nodded and ran to his room. There he slammed open the door, and the book about the universe was right infront of him. He tucked it under his bed.
"Lee Dongmin!" Bin was so frustrated that he didn't even call Dongmin 'hyung'. "Yes!" Dongmin ran out the room and went infront of Bin. "How much stuff did you have scattered on your floor?" Bin started huffing. Dongmin started to sweat. "I was just reading books. I had alot on the floor-" "Bin hyung! We're finished eating!" the voice of Sanha yelled from the first floor. "Let's just go." Bin scoffed and walked down the stairs. Dongmin nodded sheepishly and followed after Bin.
"Bin hyung! Why'd you do that?" Minhyuk yelled, as Bin laughed. Of course, they were playing a game of rock paper scissors to decide who gets the last snack. Bin screamed in victory, as he forcefully ran to the snack on the counter, leaving Minhyuk, dissatisfied. "The rock just picked rock in rock paper scissors and lost." Bin tiptoed to his room while firmly gripping onto the snack, so that he can't wake up the sleeping Myungjun next to his room. Minhyuk sighed. "Well, at least he can suffer by having to be quiet." Minhyuk laughed.
And, of course, Sanha was asleep aswell. As Minhyuk and Jinwoo walked upstairs, Dongmin stayed on the first floor. He gently tapped the cat who was next to him on the couch. The cat meowed softly. "If only you knew your owner was the sun." Dongmin said. "If only you knew." The cat dropped to the ground and ran back to the upper floor. Dongmin followed after it. Well enough, the cat went into Sanha's room. Dongmin walked to his room and closed the door. He opened the lights and brought out the book about the universe he was reading out from the bed.
Dongmin spent the night writing in notes his theories about Sanha being the sun, as he partly read the book about the universe. "The Sun's light can be split up into a spectrum of colors, most often seen as a rainbow. In the 19th Century, astronomers studying this rainbow realised that it contained dark bands.." Dongmin read out loud. Colors. Red is his anger. Orange is his creativity. Yellow is his joy. Green is his disgust. Blue is his sadness. Purple is his fear, and black is his insanement. Dongmin wrote down on the notes.
_______
As soon as he finished reading the chapter about the sun, he looked out the window. It was the sun, shining bright. As Dongmin quietly opened the door, he went over to Sanha's room. As he opened the door, Sanha wasn't in his room. "Day boy." Dongmin said. As he went to the first floor, Sanha wasn't seen either. "Wh..what? Where is he?" Dongmin yawned and stretched. "Oh man, I need to get sleep." Dongmin said. As he walked on the stairs, Jinwoo was coming down. "Hyung? What brings you here?" Dongmin asked. "Dongmin, it's 10:52 am." Jinwoo yawned.
Dongmin sighed. "Hyung, Sanha is missing." Dongmin cleared his throat. "W-what? Dongmin, Sanha might just be in his room, or in the toilet. What makes you think he's gone?" Jinwoo asked. "Hyung, I checked his room and no one was there. He's not even here." Dongmin said. "Oh dear.." Jinwoo worried. "When did you wake up?" Dongmin gulped. "I...didn't sleep." Dongmin said. "Oh. Why didn't you sleep?" Jinwoo asked. "I was busy reading books." Dongmin yawned. "You silly old bookworm." Jinwoo scolded Dongmin gently. "Come on, let's look for Sanha."
Dongmin and Jinwoo looked in different parts of the house, hoping to find Sanha, but they didn't find him. Then, the door suddenly opened. Dongmin looked outside, and it was the one and only Sanha, looking exhausted and panting. "Where were you?" Dongmin asked in a scolding manner. Dongmin saw the faint lump in Sanha's throat. "I...was having a run around the block-" "Sanha!" Dongmin and Sanha looked behind them and saw Bin. Bin ran to Sanha and grabbed his arm. Bin pulled Sanha to the back of the wall.
Dongmin got confused and walked towards Jinwoo. "What's up with them?" Dongmin asked Jinwoo. "I dunno. For some reason, Bin and Sanha have been really close lately." Jinwoo shrugged it off. Dongmin started wondering. If Bin was the moon, or Sanha was the sun, then was there a chance that Bin and Sanha were helping eachother hide their identities? "Dongmin. Minhyuk is calling you from upstairs." the blunt voice of Jinwoo whispered in Dongmin's ear. Then, Minhyuk ran down the stairs. "Hyung! Why's Sanha so distant from us lately?" Minhyuk asked.
Dongmin had a dream. A dream where Sanha was the sun. A dream where Bin was the moon. But, to Dongmin, it turned out to be real. He lived in a world where Sanha was the sun. A world where Bin was the moon. But to Dongmin, he couldn't change it. But, neither could Sanha or Bin. They lived in an exhausting world, where they had turns to run away from home and fly to the sky, just to care for the living humans on earth. But, even if it was true, no one, not even the most silliest member Myungjun, would believe it.
It would be straight up nonsense to tell everybody 'Sanha is the sun', or 'Bin is the moon'. It would be abnormal for humans who are just fine to be a star and a rock. It was completely abnormal; nobody would believe him. Nobody would believe a tale just like that. But, it wasn't just a tale this time, it was...real. Years ago, that had Dongmin know that no one would believe a joke, Sanha had told Jinwoo "I am the sun". Jinwoo, of course, didn't believe it. Jinwoo isn't the foolish type of person, while Sanha isn't the lying type of person.
Dongmin knew - everybody knew - that saying weird things would make you insane. It wasn't too surprising. "Good morning!" the yawn of Myungjun echoed throughout the house. "Good morning, hyung." Dongmin greeted. "Good morning." Jinwoo playfully nudged Myungjun. "Where's Bin and Sanha?" Myungjun asked. Dongmin looked at the wall. "I guess they're stilltalking about something." Dongmin replied. "Welp, 'kay." Myungjun said and walked towards the kitchen.
"Yoon Sanha! Get yourself together!" the hurtful voice of Bin yelled. Sanha felt tears stream down his face. "I-I'm sorry, I thought the hyungs weren't awake yet.." Sanha whimpered. "You idiot! You should've came back earlier!" Bin shouted. He punched Sanha to the floor, as blood started trickling from Sanha's jaw. "B-Bin hyung-" Bin cut off Sanha by punching him again, as Sanha coughed blood. "I-I'm sorry I d-didn't d-do be-bett-better, h-hyung.." Sanha started to cry. "What's going on?" Dongmin's head peeked from the curtain, as his jaw dropped.
"Bin!" Dongmin shouted. Dongmin grabbed Bin's shirt and punched him. Bin fell to the ground, as Dongmin growled. Dongmin looked at Sanha, as he charged for Bin again. Then he felt a firm grasp on his arm. "Hyung, no.." Sanha coughed. Dongmin growled - until saliva fell from his mouth - but he was able to console himself. He sat down on a chair and grasped his forehead. He could feel the heat rising from his head. Bin sat up and sighed. "Bin, control your temper again next time!" Dongmin scoffed. Bin sighed.
"Look, it wasn't my fault. I couldn't stop it." Bin sighed. "Excuses." Dongmin muttered under his breath. Sanha felt blood continue to drop from his mouth as he stood up. "Why can't you two just make up?" Sanha asked. He walked towards Bin, until Dongmin blocked him. "Stop." Sanha growled. Dongmin, in defeat, pulled away his hand, as Sanha walked towards Bin. "You good?" Bin asked. "You punched me which made me hurt, now you ask me if I'm okay?" Sanha scoffed. He walked away.
Sanha, rather than resting after a long morning he's had, paced around his room at a fast speed. "What will I do? Eunwoo hyung knows who I really am now." Sanha started to worry. Was there still time to protect his identity? "Breakfast is ready.." Jinwoo yelled from downstairs. "Coming!" Sanha yelled back. He ran from his room and to the kitchen. As he sat down on the chair, Minhyuk noticed the bruise on his face. "You good, Sanha?" Minhyuk asked. Sanha looked at Minhyuk. "Oh, it's nothing, hyung."
Minhyuk sighed. "We have a concert today. How will we perform if you have that bruise?" Minhyuk sighed. Then, Dongmin looked at Sanha and sighed. "Bin, did you even realize that?" Dongmin asked Bin, who was behind the wall. Bin sighed. "Yes." Bin muttered. Dongmin scowled. "So you bruised Sanha on purpose so we wouldn't perform?" Dongmin's fists hardened. Bin took a deep breath. "No." Bin replied. "N-no?!" Dongmin dug his fingers in the wall. "What do you mean 'no'?!" Dongmin screamed.
"It was just unexpected. As if the Bright Night-rock's spirit possessed me there for a minute." Bin mumbled. "The....Bright Night-rock?" Dongmin asked. Bin looked at him. "You heard me?" Bin asked. "I thought you weren't listening to me." Bin added. Dongmin scoffed. "How could I ignore you if your voice was as loud as music that was at one-hundred percent with headphones?" Dongmin teasingly asked. Bin laughed sarctastically. "Look, hyung, my voice wasn't that loud. I was talking to myself." Bin said.
"There you go, making excuses again." Dongmin cackled. "Again?" Bin asked. "What do you mean 'again'?" Bin asked. Dongmin laughed as he waked towards Bin. "Listen, Bin. Stop lying. You know what happens if the hyungs find out that you lied." Dongmin threatened Bin. Bin cackled. "You really thought I'd not know that? I'll just risk everything just to cover my shenanigans." Bin spat. Dongmin grit his teeth. "Bin, you really think that I'm gonna let this slide?"  Dongmin growled. Bin laughed.
"Lunch is ready!" Jinwoo exclaimed. He brought the plates to the table. Suddenly, he paused and looked at Sanha. "What happened to your face?" Jinwoo asked. Sanha sighed. "Who did this?" Jinwoo asked. "Who?!" Jinwoo yelled. "Bin hyung." Sanha sighed. Jinwoo's teeth grit. "Bin!" Jinwoo yelled. "Oh damn." Bin muttered. Jinwoo ran to Bin and punched him. "You hit Sanha!" Jinwoo yelled. "Fine. Yes, I did." Bin spat. Jinwoo growled. "And you knew we had a performance today?" Jinwoo asked.
"....no." Bin replied. ".....what's this man saying?" Jinwoo asked, confused. "He's saying nonsense." Dongmin scoffed. "That's not nonsense, hyungs. Bin hyung's telling the truth." Sanha sighed. Dongmin looked at him. "Do you have anything to say, Sanha?" Dongmin asked. Sanha sighed. "I told you all, I am the sun, the Star of Shine, who helped Bin protect his identity from the Rockhunters that were on the loose." Sanha's voice softened as tears formed in his eyes. "....Sanha?" Jinwoo asked.
"Bin, is this true?" Dongmin asked. Bin cocked his head to the side and looked at the now crying Sanha. Bin took a eep breath. "Yes." Bin felt a small tear fall from the corner of his eye. Jinwoo sighed. "Now that both of you are saying it's true, I have no choice but to believe it." Jinwoo sighed. He looked at Sanha, who felt guilty. "It's fine. We'll help prevent the Rockhunters from locating Bin." Dongmin smiled faintly. Sanha lifted his head up and looked at Dongmin. "Really, hyung?" Sanha's eyes widened.
Dongmin laughed. "Really." Dongmin pat Sanha's fluffy hair. Bin smiled. "Thanks, hyung." Bin said. Dongmin replied with a nod. As Jinwoo walked to the kitchen, Myungjun leaned against the wall. "What'cha doin', leader-nim?" Myungjun enthusiastically shot a finger gun at Jinwoo. "Hyung, I need to tell you something." Jinwoo said. "Sanha is the Star of Shine and is helping Bin protect his identity from the Rockhunters." Jinwoo whispered into Myungjun's ear. "We've got our own humanplanets at home?! Brilliant!" Myungjun exclaimed loudly - a little too loud.
"Hyung, what does MJ hyung mean?" Minhyuk yelled from across the floor. "Oh dear." Jinwoo sighed. "Rocky heard it." Jinwoo looked at Myungjun. "Stay quiet, hyung!" Jinwoo shushed Myungjun.
"You just need to help me."

Dating Kris Would Include …
Masterlists
Tumblr media
so the two of you had known each other for awhile when the spark hit you guys
you’d been a makeup artist for sm longer than he’d ever been signed, and when you first saw one another,,, it was like automatic hatred
he’s so stoic and you were so hyper, but of course, you were assigned to be his artist. [inward/outward groans and eye rolls to follow]
“are you kidding me? why are you so still all the time, but then when you sit down for me to do my job, you can’t stop moving?” “sorry, staring at your face for a prolonged period of time makes me uncomfortable …”
you had to refrain from smacking that smirk right off of his face
once you’d finished his makeup, he launched himself out of his chair and went straight for his phone
“seriously?” “my phone is my life, (Name), shut up.” “maybe that’s why you’re so anit-social?”
yeollie butts in, “aannnddd she takes home the prize for the correct answer!”
you laughed, and walked over to yeollie, baek, and chen … chatting it up with the beagle line
kris is sUpEr jealous, but like, hatred,,,, y’know …
“i’m the only one who can subtly flirt with (Name). it’s only mE.” luhan’s trying to mind his own business but he just cAn’T
luhan internally: ┴┬┴┤( ͡° ͜ʖ├┬┴┬
luhan externally: ┴┬┴┤( ͡° ͜ʖ├┬┴┬
he’s creepin hard.
when you come into work the next day, kris is oh so conveniently trying to order your favorite drink (that you knew he hated). you had to wipe the grin off your face before going to talk to him
“so kris ,,,,, whatcha doin’??” the poor man almost fell over dead, he was so scared. you almost fell over dead laughing …he did not appreciate that
“i’m getting a drink (Name), god.” “my favorite drink?” “i just wanted to see if your coffee is as bitter as you are.”
the idea of self-restraint was buying its ticket to the bermuda triangle. it will soon never be seen again.
after he gets the coffee, you slip it right out of his hand, and dash to the elevators. kris runs after you, “(Name) get back here! you know i’m cheap! that drink cost fOuR dOLLeRs!!”
he got to the elevators, but you had a trick up your sleeve.
the two of you were inside, but it stopped on the next floor up
coffee in hand, you planted your hand on all of the buttons and made your way down. on your way out, you pressed close.
“have fun being late, loser! and, thanks for the mocha! i’ll be sure to enjoy!” his eyes were wide-open, and frozen, and his mouth was gaping as the doors shut.
all you could do was laugh
opening the door to the boy’s dressing room, you walked in, placing the untouched drink on the makeup station
“he forgot the extra shot of espresso.”
“who did??” luhan’s voice made you jump.
“none of your business, lu.” “ooo does (Name) have a cRUsH??!!” “oh my god, shut up.”
surprise,,,,
he doesn’t ….
“oH! is it jinwoo! the barista downstairs,,, he’s kinda cute! i can see you with him” no he cAn’T “what the hell?! lu, no, it’s not jinwoo!”
here he comes ┴┬┴┤( ͡° ͜ʖ├┬┴┬
“so you admit, you have a cRUsH!!” “nO.”
“stop lYiNg, you piece oF tRaSh!!”
“….maybe,,,, i do.”
*cue weird man screams*
“i kNEw iT!!! TELL ME WHO IT IS (Name) (L/N)!!” “nO wAy, lu, eVeR!!” “wHy tHO?!!”
“BECAUSE I DON’T tRUsT yoU!”
“wow, this ,,,, this is what betrayal feels like? i can’t believe it …” luhan clenched his heart, and you burst into laughter. punching his shoulder lightly.
“you’re my best friend but,,,, no.”
“(NaME) (L/N)!! i aM gOinG tO MUrdER YOU!!!”
in that moment everything froze. the managers stopped chatting, xiumin and sehun looked up from their phones, tao pulled his nose out of his gucci magazine, yixing and kai woke from their peaceful slumber, and even the beagle line stopped messing with junmyeon and kyungsoo. you were the only one to move.
you shot up and out of your spot on the couch, running towards the exit on the other side of the room.
!!! GoTTa bLaST !!!
“catch me if you can, loser!” “(Name), your legs are so short! they can hardly take you anywhere!” “be quiet, sehun! no one asked your opinion.”
you didn’t have time to make fun of him more,,, you had to run.
it’s been almost fifteen minutes, and you’re starting to get tired. it’s getting hard to breath, so you hide behind a door, where you think no one else is,,,
second surprise!!!
“kRiS??!”
“shhh, the managers are mad. they have looks that can kill,” he hissed, placing a hand over your mouth. that was a mistake.
you licked his hand, and he snatched it away. you laughed triumphantly, not realizing what you’d just done.
“did you just ,,, lick me?” “i did” “…” “oh god, what have i done.” you slammed your head into the wall, and it was deafening. you sprung back, not meaning to hit it that hard.
kris couldn’t hold back his laughter.
the managers found you, and they immediately thought the worst …
this day that started perfectly, turned into one of your worst nightmares.
the words on the pink slip of paper was the most heartbreaking news you’d ever received in your life. and once, you hit a cat on the road, and tried to go back to help it
‘Miss (L/N), we must regretfully inform you that you are fired. Due to suspicious circumstances concerning you and an idol, you are being let go. Your contract has been terminated, and you must be out of the building by 12 this afternoon.’
tears pricked at the back of your eyes, and you realized that you had to pack up your station and say your goodbyes in just two hours.
you made your way to the boy’s dressing room, and tried to keep from crying. immediately, the boys noticed something was wrong, and they came over to you, looking worried.
silently, you showed them the pink slip, and some gasped, while others were speechless.
the first to move were xiumin and chanyeol. xiumin wrapped his strong arms around you and hugged you for a few seconds, some of his own tears splattering across your soft, cotton t-shirt. chanyeol was next, and he rested his chin on your head as he hugged you, swaying back and forth a bit.
chen, baekhyun, and sehun were the next ones to come up to you. chen took your hand in his, and gave it a squeeze, offering you a wordless “it’ll be okay.” baekhyun was after him, and he gave you a little kiss on the cheek, whispering in your ear, “(Name), this isn’t the end, y’know.” sehun stole you away, his face downcast. “I’ll let you make fun of me any time, (Name), don’t worry …” his sad smile broke your already fragmented heart.
tao and kai followed. tao cupped your face, and brought you into his chest. he slowly let his tears fall … over the years, you’d grown extremely close to the china-line. kai grasped your hand in his velvety soft one, and he offered you a gentle grin. “this doesn’t mean anything, (Name), we’ll still see each other every day,” he promised.
suho and yixing came after they stepped back. suho’s eyes were teary and he was at a loss for words. all he did was hug you tight and lift you a bit from the ground. once he pulled away, yixing took his place. lay stared at you for a few seconds, inaudibly watching you fall apart. he grabbed your right hand, and he spinned in a circle slowly. when you faced him again, he chuckled and wiped the rivulets that had fallen down from your eyes.
luhan and kyungsoo, two of the most controlled and calm members, were bawling. luhan, though he was one of the last, ran to you and gripped you in a hug that knocked the breath out of your lungs. his shoulders shook violently as he sobbed into the crook of your neck. kyungsoo had to pry him off of you to say his own goodbye.
“(Name), you are very special to us. You’ve taken care of us when we needed it, and offered us help when it was necessary. In this world, full of stars, you shine the brightest, and every one of us loves to stargaze. We’ll miss you, (Name).”
at that moment, you shattered.
you hugged kyungsoo with the force of a hundred elephants. he stumbled back a bit, and he laughed sullenly, shielding the others from seeing his tears by hiding his face in your shoulder.
“that’s shi-”
all of the others glowered at kris as he snatched the pink slip out of your hand
“suspicious circumstances concerning an idol …”
his face turned ghost white. “oh god, (Name). behind the door. oh god, oh god, oh god … this is my fault …” you shook your head rapidly and put your hands on the outsides of his arms.
“kris no—”
“yes!” “kris, don’t make this harder—” “at least let me walk you out, (Name) … please?”
reluctantly you nodded, scrambling around to pack up your things
the ride in the elevator was hushed, and neither of you spoke. but, sometimes words are better left unsaid.
the two of you exited the elevator, and you went to get one last coffee. you handed the cardboard box to kris, and told him where to find your car.
when you came back out, oddly enough, you were holding two coffees. one for kris and one for you. it was your last hurrah as a makeup artist with sm; one final thing to make your memory stand with kris.
but he did you one better …
with both of the drinks spilled over the back of your car, he brought both of his hands to your face, and kissed you.
smack on the lips.
you felt like a little school girl, having your secret crush kiss you on what used to be your playground.
“I guess those mochas aren’t as bitter as I thought.” you pulled him in again, and then came another snarky remark. “I hope we’re not too suspicious. that would be problematic.”
at this point, the job didn’t matter. you had left earth, and dropped all of its baggage on the way up.
you loved that feeling.
wowie, 1.7k words to get to the actual thing lol ;-;
okay, so dating this secret floof would be the cutest thing.
kris is like, forever in his teen angst phase, so, you always have to pull him out of the house to do stuff.
“we’re going to karaoke with Ryu and Mina! it’ll be so fun!” “(Name), i don’t sing. i’m a rapper.” “no, you’re my boyfriend, and i have enough dirt on you to fill a million construction sites.”
“i hate you, y’know.” “love you too, kris~”
he ends up enjoying everything more because he’s with you.
“you always find the beauty in things.” “do you find beauty in this??” “you? oh,,,, nah.”
now that you’re not an employee you can actually hit him.
you guys would never ever use nicknames, you’re just too close, and it doesn’t feel right when you call him “honey” or “babe” and vice versa
also, you guys would never cuddle, like, ever (unless either of you guys were sad or sick or something)
you guys are actually the perfect mix of calm and chaotic, and it’s adorable.
like, he’ll be reading on the couch, completely minding his own business while you’re looking for a new position as a makeup artist, but once you get bored, you legit just jump on him.
“kris, i hate looking for a job.” “and?” “i just hate it.” “well, someone’s gotta pay the bills for the rest of our lives, and it’s not gonna be me.”
“aren’t you supposed to be the man of the house.” “i’m only that when i want to be. now, go look for a job.”
in all, you guys would be the cutest couple when you aren’t mad at each other.
which brings me to the point i’m excited sad to have to talk about.
fights
so, you two are probably the most stubborn people in the world. and most of the time, with stubbornness comes a temper, but that’s not the case with either of you.
neither of you guys have a short temper. so, it takes a lot for you to get angry with each other.
but, when he missed multiple anniversaries back to back, you began to get fired up.
“kris, what’s today?” “it’s the 16th of October, why?” for a few seconds you were silent, then you scoffed.
“you really forgot … and this is the third time.” “what? what’d i forget this time?” “no, you asshole, figure it out by yourself.” “oh jesus, (Name), stop being to dramatic and tell—”
before he could finish, you slammed the door in his face, and walked to the bar down the street.
still oblivious, he called luhan and had to ask him why today was such a special day.
“oh my god, kris, this is the third time! every year, you forget!” “forget what?!” “your anniversary, you giant idiot!”
with those words, kris suddenly felt dizzy and a bit sick.
“oh god, what have i done?” he asked no one in particular, forgetting luhan was still on the line. “you’ve been a douche to (Name) for the third time in your relationship. you better keep an eye down below, one of these days i might just come by with a pair of scissors.”
he shuddered at the thought of luhan showing up with a pair of rusty blades to do something less-than-desirable to a part of him that he wasn’t ready to lose just yet.
the next few days were spent in an unsteady silence
you wouldn’t pick up his calls, and he had decided to wait your punishment for him out.
but, while the minutes on the clock ticked by and the restless drumming of his fingers grew too much for him to bear, he drove to your friend Mina’s house, and tried to persuade her to let him in
“Mina, i need to see her.” “but she doesn’t want to see you.” “i’m sure she doesn’t mean that.” there was a few seconds before a response, but he was relieved when he heard your voice.
“oh, so you didn’t forget to come check on me? what am i to you? a kid?” you rapidly fired questions at him, and he was appalled at what he was hearing.
“no, (Name). I’m so sorry. This is all my fault, and I completely understand if you want some space for awhile.” the door cracked open a bit, and he caught a glimpse of your puffy, tear-streaked face. “you know it’s the first thing i want, but, it’s the last thing i need.” you sucked in snot, and he wrapped his arms around you in a tight, reassuring hug
“i love you more than the world, (Name).”
“i love you too, Kris. so much.”
all in all, you guys would cherish each other, and even though you’re not the most lovey-dovey, you make up for it in how much romance is actually hidden within your relationship. he’ll cook meals for you, he’ll read his books to you, he’ll share his feelings with, but most importantly, he’ll tell you how much you mean to him. and you would do the same.
which is all the two of you really ask for.

JBJ Enemies to Lovers Series: “Perhaps, Love?” (2/7)
Kim Yongguk/Jin Longguo x OC
Type: bulletpoint scenario
You just started summer break after the school year finally ended
And you were just ready to sleep all day at home and do nothing the whole break
So after classes officially ended you went home directly
And lied to your friends about your mom wanting you home early
But you really just wanted to sleep and not care about anything once you get to your bed
But then again, your brother invited friends over the house
Which means it’s gonna be so loud for the love of macaroni
“Hey, y/n. I thought you were out with friends?”
“I’m going to sleep for the rest of the day so you all better not be too noisy”
“We can’t guarantee that”
“Shut up Jinwoo or I’m telling mom you haven’t done laundry in over a month”
All of his friends laughed and taunted him after your comeback
And you just snickered as you looked at him mercilessly
You marched your way to the kitchen, passing by his friends in the living room
Because you remembered you had a slice of oreo cheesecake you brought from last night while you and your friends were finishing up all the projects for today’s deadlines at a café nearby
But you widened your eyes as you stopped walking the minute you saw a young man seated on your dining table
Gobbling up the last few bites of the cheesecake while he was on his phone
It wasn’t long until he noticed you and he was a bit startled
You eyed the plate he was using
And you felt your heart drop as you noticed there was barely anything left of the cheesecake
“Who are you and why did you eat my cheesecake”
“I’m… Yongguk… and your brother said it was okay…”
Yongguk was just one of your brother’s closest friends
You may have seen him a couple of times hanging out with him
But you barely even noticed because you actually never cared about any of your brother’s businesses
You just sighed and rolled your eyes to get something to drink in the fridge
You opened the fridge and you were relieved your carton of almond milk wasn’t touched
So you grabbed it and got a glass by the sink
You poured about over a half of the glass with the milk
And you turned to look at Yongguk
He looked embarrassed to even look at you
But you just sighed again and left the kitchen to get to your room
You were so annoyed and just decided to go to the café later after dinner
Before you walked upstairs to your room your brother suddenly called you
“Hey, y/n. Mom and dad are on a trip until Monday so we have the house to us all weekend”
You just rolled your eyes because yet again your parents left you with your bothersome brother
“Whatever I just want to sleep”
You got to your room and immediately dozed off once you plopped yourself on top of your bed
You then woke up after a couple of hours
You looked at the clock as you wiped off your drool from sleeping
“I’m gross”
You just stood up to check yourself on the mirror
“You look horrible”
You frowned and decided to wear something more comfortable
You grabbed a simple blue denim dress and some sneakers to put on
And you grabbed your favorite cap to hide your horrible bed hair
Since you were too lazy to even brush it in the first place
You quickly ran out your room and went down the stairs
And you saw your brother and a few of his friends pass out from watching movies
The mess in the living room was just horrifying to watch
But you just rolled your eyes again and walked your way out of the house
You quickly went to the café you frequented since it was only a 15 minute walk
Once you got there you tried to look at the cakes and pastries section
And finally you found the oreo cheesecake you’ve been craving since early afternoon
You smiled widely and you told the barista you would like the last slice
“I’m sorry but someone already owns that slice”
Your heart dropped again
“Who owns that slice, then?”
“Me.”
You turned to look at who it was
And again, it was Yongguk
He had this smile to you but it almost died down after seeing you frown
“What’s with you and cheesecakes?”
“I liked it a lot so I bought another slice to take home”
Yongguk just chuckled and looked at you
But you were again annoyed because he didn’t even care about giving the slice to you
“Do you mind if I have the slice? You already ate mine at home”
“No can do. Already paid for it.”
Was this boy taunting you all of the sudden?
The barista then wrapped up the cheesecake and gave the brown paper bag to Yongguk
You just sighed looking at Yongguk
And again, all he did was smile
“I need to go home. See you later.”
Yongguk left while chuckling and leaving the café
And you just stood there with your mouth open
Speechless because you felt humiliated by his sudden actions towards you
“Who on earth does he think he is?”
“Is he like this to me just because he’s my brother’s friend?”
You frowned again and just looked at the barista
He looked so confused and you just sighed because you really couldn’t do anything
“W-would you like anything else, ma’am?”
“If you’re all out of that banana muffin I order often I’m boycotting this place”
You walked out of the café with the paper bag of banana muffins
You were so pissed because you really wanted the cheesecake
But of course, these things happen all the time
So you just walked your way home
And again you saw your brother and all his friends still passed out in the living room
You didn’t care for cleaning the room so you just turned off the TV
And went to the kitchen to get another glass of almond milk
Alas, you go to the kitchen to find your carton on the kitchen counter
Empty
You sulked as you walked over to check the carton and saw a little sticky note
“Got the last glass :P – Yongguk”
“God I hate this guy so much”
The next day you woke up from all the yelling downstairs and just scratched your head as you sat up
“Who on earth is this noisy at 7am?!”
You just walked out of your bedroom to the living room
Not really caring if ever anyone saw you in your cat printed pajamas and magpie nest hair
Your brother and his friends were watching a game of football
Probably a rerun since they passed out quite early last night
And yes you remembered they did drink some alcohol
Your brother noticed you arrived and just laughed
“Did you sleep well, our little princess?”
You frowned and walked your way to the kitchen to get some cereal
And while you were making cereal someone followed you and just leaned on the doorway
You slowly turned your head to see who it was
“Nice pajamas. My style.”
It was again, Yongguk
He just crossed his arms chuckling as he looked at you
And you swore he was the last person you wanted to see that day
“And I thought you went home last night? Why are you here this early?”
“Wanted to just hang out here instead of the dorms. What are you making?”
“Cereal. Duh?”
You showed your bowl of cereal and gave a mocking face
And he just laughed as you walked pass him to go to your room
“You know, you gain weight easily if you eat too often in your room.”
You stopped walking as you scowled and looked at him
“And who are you to comment about a girl’s weight?”
You said as you turned again and went on back to walking up to your room
Yongguk just widened his eyes and walked away to the living room
The next few days your brother’s friends just came in and out of the house
And you were beginning to wonder if it was still your home
Or a fraternity house for all that matters
Your parents came earlier than expected and caught your brother not cleaning up the house while they were away
You laughed at him being scolded
Your parents were about to scold you too
But you knew how to revert it back to your brother
“His friends kept making a mess again whenever I tried to clean, so I didn’t bother.”
And luckily enough your parents believed this
And banned his friends from ever coming for a while
“Great, now I won’t be able to see Yongguk for a while now.”
You smiled to yourself as you finally smelled your victory
It was a good few weeks of you just being at home hanging out
You did often go out but you only went to the nearby café
Or your friends’ houses
And maybe less than ten times at the mall
But other than that, you were happy you were able to relax
One of your friends then told you about a summer festival
And you were eager to go so you forced two of your friends to go with you too
So you all scored tickets and planned all your outfits and whatnot for the event
You also tried to work out often to make yourself look better for the festival
You ran and jogged every early morning
And you even did exercises at home at times
Before you knew it, your body changed a bit and you felt a lot more healthier
And happier with your figure
Once it was the day of the festival you and your friends all had fun
Taking pics here and there
Went to a lot of food stands and just ate and ate
Definitely one of the best highlights of your summer break
Plus, you thought you really looked cute that day too
You just wore a short sleeved striped turtleneck and a cute denim A-line skirt
And you paired it off with your favorite sneakers
You looked around to see if you saw anyone you knew
But you really didn’t so you just sighed in relief
Because you never really wore clothes like that whenever you met out with friends
All other people ever remember you wear is your uniform
And really casual clothes since you didn’t bother on trying to look like a girly girl
A group of young men then walked around the food stalls of the festival
And one guy saw you while you were looking at the other direction
And he couldn’t keep his eyes on you especially of your beautiful and flowy hair that was beautifully blown a bit whenever the wind came
“Y/n!”
One of your friends called you from the stall right next to where the young man looking at you was
“Oh no”
Yongguk gulped and hoped it wasn’t really you
Until you faced your friend and smiled
“Oh shit it’s her”
“Why is she so pretty today”
“When did she ever wear clothes like that”
“She’s actually a girl????”
Yongguk’s thoughts were already so rambled up and he was so confused on what to do
He tried to look the other way
But you caught him looking at you
And you just sighed and rolled your eyes as you tried to ignore Yongguk while walking your way to your friend
Once you were next to your friend, Yongguk stole a few glances of you
You were ordering some food and he just kept looking at you as you held your cup of lemonade
“Y-you look quite… pretty today..”
You turned to your side to see Yongguk forcing himself to smile
And you smiled back sarcastically
“That’s new. Thanks, I guess.”
Your friend then smirked as she looked at you
And you faced your friend and saw her give you the look
You then whispered to her
“What’s your problem?”
“Is he an admirer?”
“Heck no!”
“Not gonna lie, you both would look really cute”
“Shut up”
“I’m betting 50 bucks with the others to see you date this guy”
“Watch yourself lose money then”
You turned back to look at Yongguk
He was looking at the menu of the food stall you were all at
“So… you like going to festivals, huh?”
He was looking shy as he tried to ask you this
And you were confused as to why he acted like that
“I only came to be with my friends.”
“Actually, same. I was forced here.”
“I see. Well I was the one who forced them here.”
“You’re still quite of a bossy angry bird, I see.”
“Excuse me?”
You gave a confused look at Yongguk
And he just smiled as he tried to tease you
But then after a while, he widened his eyes as he saw something from afar
And you turned to look at what he was looking at
“A petting zoo?”
Yongguk smiled widely and walked his way over to the stall where there were cats around
And you just looked at him confused
You then saw him play around with the cats at the stall
And you just laughed and saw how cute he was
Yongguk held one of the cats and couldn’t stop petting it
And he turned to see if he could find you
He saw you from afar
Just smiling and shaking your head
But he just smiled and continued on petting the cat in his embrace
The music stages for the festival were about to start
And your friends pulled you all the way near the stage
Basically all the songs were fit for a summer ender vibe
So you and your friends enjoyed all the songs and even danced to the more upbeat ones
Yongguk was then walking around the crowd of people with his friends
He was hoping he could find you too
And he did after a while and just smiled from afar
You were really happy and enjoying the festival as you danced with your friends
And he just smiled at how cute you were whenever you sang along to the songs you knew
So he just stood there enjoying the festival with his friends as well
And often stole glances at you whenever he got the chance
Once the festival was almost over
You and your friends decided to start heading out of the festival grounds
And just go home directly
Since all the energy inside all of you were sucked out from all the dancing and singing
All of you had a great time and took few last pictures before all of you walked on different directions to your homes
You walked with one of your friends who was supposed to get in the same bus as you
But she decided to go to the subway station since she had to go to her mom’s office and have late dinner with her
So once you both hugged as you sent her off to the subway station
And your house was only a few bus stops away
So you just walked your way over to the nearby bus station
You were relieved there weren’t a lot of people there too so you decided to sit down on the bench
And you actually didn’t feel like going home that time, yet
You were looking at your phone with all the pictures you and your friends took at the festival
And you were really happy that you were able to have a really great summer ender before classes were to resume in about a week from now
You then felt someone sit next to you as he was also looking at his phone
You turned a bit to see who it was
Again, you see Yongguk
And he turned to look at you too
You just sighed as gave a small smile as you put your phone back in your purse
And Yongguk just looked the other way to see if any buses were to come
“Had fun?”
He asked out of the blue
“Yeah. Really great fun.”
You just smiled as you put your hands on your lap and fidgeted on your skirt
“It’s funny how I only get to see you on summers.”
“We never even properly met.”
You both chuckled as you realized you were right
You both didn’t really have a proper conversation before this
And you both really didn’t have a good impression of each other in the beginning
“I’m sorry about how I treated you in the beginning.”
You smiled at his sudden apology and looked at him
“It’s alright. You were my brother’s friend, so you must have gotten a bit of his ways.”
He chuckled as he scratched the back of his neck and nodded
“You look really pretty today, y/n.”
You looked down and suddenly widened your eyes
You felt kind of shy when you heard him compliment you
It felt weird too
Because you also thought he was actually really cute
Especially when he played with the cats earlier
“Thank you.”
You smiled as you still looked down without looking at him
And he smiled at the way you handled his sudden compliment
You looked around and noticed it was only you and Yongguk left in the bus stop
“Aren’t there any buses at this time?”
“For your route, none anymore I guess. It’s really late.”
You looked at your watch and just sighed
You were worried whether your parents were already looking for you
But you remembered you asked permission so you just shrugged
“I don’t feel like going home yet anyways.”
You sighed as you crossed your arms
“Me neither.”
Yongguk said as he looked around again to see if any buses were around
“So…”
You looked at Yongguk as he broke the silence
“Do you somehow… want to get cheesecake with me?”
He asked as he blinked and looked down
And you noticed he was suddenly really shy
And you just giggled at how and why he was acting like this and looked at him
“Yes. I’d love to.”

Moon Day - I
Pairing: Dongmin x Reader & Yoongi x Reader
Genre: Fluff, Angst, Humour.
Warnings: Strong language, Implied smut, some dark themes.
Jungkook told you about Min Yoongi many times. How he didn’t take to strangers. How he preferred to stay unknown. How he thrived in the underbelly of society where he could do what he wanted without anyone caring. Yet, after many short talks about him, all of that information still seemed to land on deaf ears. You couldn’t remember a single thing about him except for his name, which landed you in a puddle full of milk and under a confused stare.
Word Count: 4.8K
Part: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9
Masterlist
Tumblr media
Jungkook’s laugh rang through your ears, both of your eyes squinting from how large your smiles were. His hand smacked down on his crossed legs repeatedly, face turning beet red from the stupid joke said before. You had called the cat that was lying on your chest a booby cat, which your friend Soojin called stupid. Sehun nearly threatened her into making a better suggestion but it was Ahro who spoke next. She was the quiet one, hardly ever speaking up when things got a little ‘distasteful’ as she would call it but, over the top of her cup, she’d whispered “titty kitty” and it sent all of you into a fit. Even Dongmin, who’d been in the bathroom cracked a smile with a shake of his head as he came back into the living room.
The six of you were fond of sitting on the floor, the couch and chairs always too small and uncomfortable to fit your personalities. There was a formality of sitting in chairs that you were against the most, always taking the position of lying on the floor with whatever pet was in sight. Tonight, it was Dongmin’s cat, Gina, who was asleep amongst the loud voices and less than faint music playing in the background. Your thumbs traced the spots on his (yes, his. Dongmin insisted on Gina no matter the sex, stating that his future wife would probably never agree to the name so he needed to have at least one child called Gina. You suspected he was lying and got dared to do it. He’d never admit it, of course) ears absentmindedly as the rest of the group spoke about nothing and yet everything.
Jungkook raised his arms over his head for a small stretch, closing his eyes as he did so. A small portion of his skin showed and you poked it with the end of your nail, earning a small twitch as a reaction and then a curse.
“If you don’t want me to do that then stop buying crop tops,” you murmured quietly, returning your gaze to Gina’s face and your fingers to rub behind his ears. Jungkook defended himself just as quickly as Ahro spoke.
“It’s not a crop top.”
“Are you saying men shouldn’t wear crop tops, y/n?”
Soojin quirked up a heavily defined eyebrow at this, staring down at you seriously. “Yeah, y/n, is that a problem?”
You shrugged as best as you could, supressing a smile with a small, “of course not.”
“Then don’t tell our crop top wearing friend to stop wearing them,” Sehun joined in, draping an arm over Jungkook’s shoulders, which he tried to shake off but Sehun was stronger. A pout formed on his lips and Sehun shook his head, continuing, “look, now you’ve made him sad. How could you do that to this poor face?”
Dongmin’s hand came to grip Jungkook’s chin to bring it closer to your face, making you crack up as Jungkook bit at his hand. He didn’t hit anything really, just grazed the side of Dongmin’s hand but it still evoked a hiss from the black-haired boy. Jungkook looked slightly pleased but still under the heavy arm of Sehun, who kept a stellar straight face.
“I’m sorry, Jungkook,” you professed lightly, pressing your left hand over your heart with a small giggle. “They’re right, you should wear all the crop tops you want.”
“There you go,” Sehun crooned, letting go of Jungkook and beaming at him. “Didn’t that make you feel better?”
“I hate all of you,” was the only response they got from Jungkook and Ahro sipped from her cup deeply to stop herself from outwardly laughing.
The night passed quicker than you wanted it to and soon, everyone was filtering out of the small apartment Dongmin and his roommates called home. Moon Bin and Minhyuk didn’t come stumbling home until 2 in the morning, with Jinwoo and his girlfriend Haeun trailing behind them to make sure they got up safe. Dongmin decided that was a sign their little party had to end and, by Dongmin called it, you mean Sehun got up to leave, calling it a night. Sehun and Moon Bin couldn’t stand each other after a fight three years ago they couldn’t seem to get over so they were never found in the same room at a time. You didn’t know all the details but figured it was serious so you never asked. Besides, Sehun and you were the least close in the entire group, so you figured it was out of place.
Dongmin ushered Moon Bin into his room to avoid the two from meeting, him shooting you a desperate look to keep Sehun away from the door for a few minutes. You peeled yourself from the floor, coming to a seated position and tugging on Sehun’s pant leg before he could walk to the door. He looked down at you, eyes void of any emotion. You stared back, mind not thinking of anything quick enough to keep him stalled for the few seconds, so you blinked instead.
“What is it?” he sighed, shoulders slumping.
“Can you get me a glass of water before you leave?” Your voice was steady, as if you’d meant every pause and wanted to annoy him. He furrowed his eyebrows, somewhere between confused and amused before denying you and walking away. Your hand reached out to keep him in his place but Dongmin appeared in the living room and you stopped your stretch.
His hands fell into the back pockets of his dark-wash jeans and he rocked back and forth on his heels before the five of you. A little shy smile appeared on his lips as he mumbled, “time to go, huh?”
“Y-yeah, I’ve got work at 3:00 so…” Sehun trailed off, motioning half-heartedly. Dongmin nodded, knowing everyone would start filtering out afterwards. He seemed a bit disappointed but you couldn’t figure out why, so you simply sat Gina in your lap again and continued your business. Besides, you were always the first to arrive and last to leave so you could take your time.
Jinwoo said hello after putting a very giggly and drunk Minhyuk to bed, Haeun standing at door awkwardly. Soojin tried to pick up a conversation with her to make her feel alone but it didn’t work. The girls looked deathly embarrassed at a dumb comment Soojin made, which led to her sprinting to the bathroom for relief. Despite claiming herself as the ‘bad bitch’ of the group, she had very little confidence. She tried her best though, to be more open. It was only the rare times where she didn’t try did she succeed at making new friends. You didn’t know how to tell her that without her getting upset.
After the hello and small pleasantries (which Sehun tried to avoid like the plague), the couple left as quickly as they came, hand in hand. They’d gotten more serious lately, or so Dongmin said a few nights ago when you were out together. He’d come to pick you up from work because you ended late and were in a bad neighbourhood so he offered. He hardly ever spoke about his other friends around the group, thinking it made everyone jealous but he never seemed to mind when it was just you two. It was just Soojin who got upset but that was because she basically dedicated herself to this small group of friends, claiming it was “too hard to care about more than 3 people and I’m already doing that”. You liked hearing about his life outside of the six of you though. You knew that you couldn’t be someone’s whole world and being reminded of that was humbling somehow.
Soojin left with Sehun, who promised her a ride home. They had been friends the longest, which surprised you. When you first met them, it made sense but getting to know Soojin and Sehun through Soojin, you wondered how they were in the same room together, much less alone. The two were volatile people, very impulsive and explosive under the image of being that cool, out-of-reach person. Maybe because they were both so emotionally unavailable, they could understand each other and their hardships. You pulled guesses out of the air as Jungkook and Ahro helped you off the ground, tearing you away from Gina as gingerly as they could- which meant picking Gina up and keeping him out of reach until you agreed to put your shoes on.
Dongmin leaned against the opened door of his apartment, flashing them a tired smile. His hair fell into his face, strands of black finding their way over his eyes and you reached your hand out to fix them.
“Sure you’ll be okay with those two? You know how they get when they’re drunk.” Your brain recalled fuzzy memories of watching Moon Bin claiming himself as king of the world at the edge of a building and Minhyuk breaking his grandmother’s urn and then crying for 3 hours.
“Yeah, yeah,” he sighed, letting his eyelids fall a bit until you pulled your hand away, focusing his attention on you again. “It’ll be fine. I might just lock them in their rooms or something after I give them each a water bottle. I don’t want to deal with them at all.”
“You should make doggy doors to give them food and water,” Ahro suggested, hands in the pockets of her girlfriend’s jean jacket as her feet led her out of his door. She slipped past the two of you and into the hallway with a small smile, causing a giggle to form in your chest.
“Like prison?” you asked, always amused by the quiet girl and her antics.
She shrugged. “Maybe it’d teach them a lesson.”
Jungkook, who was having trouble with his shoes before but seemed to have worked it all out. tapped the top of the doorframe as he exited the house too. He was halfway through responding to Ahro but received a small tap on his stomach from Dongmin as he passed by and grumbled, “you know what? I’m nothing but nice to you guys and this is the treatment I get?”
“You’re nice to no one,” you retorted, watching him open his mouth to defend himself before closing it with a frown.
“Well, I’m less mean to you guys than everyone else,” he said, voice quieter than usual. That, even you couldn’t deny. He was hardly one to be this passive with the jabs you’d been giving him the whole night, much less anyone else.
You’d heard him on the phone with his room mates, or when you’d been over to his house before class would start. He had more poison in his words than anyone you’d met but you suspected that was the reason behind your friendship. He could take as much as he could dish out.
“You’re right,” Ahro voiced your thoughts, rubbing his back in circular motions. She called it therapeutic touch and she loved to use it when she was being condescending. Your eyes briefly flicked to Dongmin’s and your gazes met, a small smile threatening to break through on his lips. “We’ll stop being so mean to you, Jungkook. At least for now, I need a ride home.”
“Is that really the only reason you keep me around?”
Ahro pretended to think for a moment, pushing her cheeks out before nodding and saying a curt, “yes.”
Jungkook simply narrowed his eyes and mumbled insults under his breaths as he walked down the hallway, twirling his keys around his finger while he did so. One hand raised as a goodbye to Dongmin, who did the same. Ahro waved goodbye too, not ready to let Jungkook get away with his insults but beaming nonetheless. You were the only one to give him a hug goodnight. He held tighter than usual.
“What’s wrong?” you murmured, a crease forming between your brows and he simply exhaled a laugh, pulling away.
“Nothing’s wrong. Why do you always assume something’s wrong?”
His smile seemed weak, but you could tell he was tired. He hadn’t been sleeping for the past few days, claiming it was nothing and not letting you in on the secret he held. You searched his eyes for a moment, pressing your lips together in a tight line when you couldn’t find what you were looking for.
You let out a small sigh, releasing the tension in your shoulders as you did so. “I don’t, I just worry.”
“I know,” he said quietly, making those his final words that night. You took a few steps away from the door, raising a hand. He did the same, almost shutting the door before opening it again. His mouth was perched, like he wanted to say something but Ahro called you down the hallway, saying the elevator was there. She waved you forward and you felt the pull away from Dongmin.
You shot him a sympathetic smile, body angled down the hall so you could jog down it. “Tell me later?”
He reluctantly nodded before shutting the door, letting you run down the hallway at half-speed to make it to the elevator. Ahro looked at you through half-lidded eyes and smiled lightly.
“What?” you pushed out as the elevator doors closed and drifted down to the first floor.
“Nothing,” was all she said until she returned to her relentless teasing of Jungkook, who pretended like he wasn’t enjoying it.
It was past two in the morning and, logically, you should’ve just stayed home. There was no real life outside, save for the few people on breaks from their overnight shifts or who worked in twenty-four-hour stores. You’d always wondered what those were for until you ended up desperately craving chocolate before bed one day and went out to buy some. It was the odd couple, women wearing scrubs and doing their grocery shopping, and some teenagers you wished would just value their sleep.
This was no normal craving for chocolate you could just ignore. After Jungkook dropped you off outside your shared apartment with your brother, you nearly went upstairs. You had your keys perched in the first lock that let you into your lobby but you hesitated. It was a weird feeling, to not want to be home. Usually, you’d find comfort in your sheets and the smell of books and your brother’s whole smile. You were content with having a home that felt like one, where everything could be forgotten for a few seconds when you’d talk to your sibling or through a simple meal.
Tonight was different though. There was something eating at your stomach, clawing its way out slowly and you couldn’t figure out what was bothering you. A frown plastered itself on your lips before you knew it and you simply looked at yourself in the glass and sighed deeply. The reflection in the mirror wasn’t one you were proud of. Your hair was a mess and you’d started to break out again and, no matter how hard your makeup or your skin routine tried, nothing seemed to work. There were bags under your eyes, which made no sense because it was the summer so how could you possibly be tired? Yet, there you were, looking at the knot of hair on your head and the sapped look of your skin and all of this made your stomach ache some more.
On a whim, you grasped your keys and turned on your heel. You didn’t know where you were going but you just felt like any gasp of fresh air might help you forget the ongoing discomfort in your body. The sidewalks were empty and a small breeze fell through the city. You were lucky to have brought your brother’s jean jacket, which you wrapped a little tighter around your body as you moved through the streets. Your eyes fixated on the lights that moved past you and your mind focused on the steadiness of your breath.
The beat of your shoes matched your heartbeat and that was when your mind reeled, settling into the pattern and allowing your consciousness to slip through. Dongmin’s face drifted past your mind and you blinked to make it go away, not wanting to think about him. He’d been a close friend, one you could confide in and believe in, every step of the way and unconditionally. Recently though, you could feel him pulling away.
He was never one for actions and never acted first. You knew this when you first began talking. It’d been slight flirtation on your side and you wanted nothing more than to see where it could possibly go. Of course, you were attracted to him, who wouldn’t be? That’d be like pricking your finger on a sharp knife and saying you felt nothing. There just seemed to be no real push for anything more. He made it comfortable for you to speak and say how you were feeling. You were able to cry or scream or not talk at all, just sit and watch movies for hours. Sometimes it felt like you were practically dating just without any physical intimacy.
You became comfortable though. You stopped looking for that in him because you figured it wouldn’t happen at this point. His smile which was as soft as a flowerbed and eyes that were warmer than a summer day, they would never be your possession, at least not in the way you intended them to be. You figured it sounded sad, or like you had given up, but you just wished he would try something at all. You wanted to know if he had any intention of seeing you the way a small part of you still saw him- the part that was the most hopeful than anyone you knew and held a candle to the dark in your mind.
What would happen if he did try did scare you though, you had to admit. How would it change? Would it change? What could possibly go different? What if everything went terribly wrong? You didn’t have anything near an answer to these questions.
As you turned a small corner, you found yourself biting your lip and faced with fluorescent lights. Your hands pushed the door to the large shop open, mind still reeling but forcing yourself to be conscious of your surroundings. You scanned the nearly empty shop. There were aisles of essentials, then groceries, and then wrapping paper and cards for gifts. Beside the entrance, you found a small basket and picked it up, walking up and down aisles with no real purpose.
One part of you wished you’d brought your headphones, ears tuning into the faint music that made your ears hurt. Late night radio was either intense remixes of the worst pop songs or slow songs that forced sleep on you. With a deeper frown, you piled a few items into your basket and forced yourself to ignore your brain’s urge to take over your thoughts once again. Dongmin was just one problem of many that you needed to filter through but you didn’t want to give yourself time. Not tonight at least.
You drifted past the essentials, hearing a loud laugh and then a hissing shushing. It almost brought a smile to your face but you didn’t bother looking to see who it was. You were near your apartment complex but far enough for there to be an all new set of people who had no idea who you were and vice versa. With small bags of oranges and a carton of apple juice, you heard more hushed whispers and laughter behind you and vaguely felt like you were living a horror movie. You’d watched too many of those, feeling Dongmin cling to your arm and then let go just as quickly to show he could handle himself. The same anxious yet curious feeling built up in your chest as you hurried through the last produce aisle and turned into the dairy.
The whispers came louder here and you met eyes with two men around your age. One, taller and with ash-brown hair, was leaning on a shorter, black haired man. The taller one had a smile wider than the earth itself flashing across his lips, mouthing words that reached your ears and obviously amusing himself. He laughed boisterously then shushed himself and laughed quieter, leaning over to slap his knee while the shorter one struggled a bit under his weight.
You felt a bit odd, watching the scene play out. It was very much like watching a horror movie and you were terribly embarrassed for the shorter friend, who was reaching out with one hand for a milk carton. You couldn’t figure out why, considering the general remedy for a drunk friend was water, but he seemed determined. His skin was pale under the bright lights and he tried to reason with the friend, which he called Namjoon, to just relax while he went to grab the carton.
“Noo,” Namjoon
“Yoongi,” Namjoon said very seriously, perching his hand over his heart and tucking his chin all the way into his neck. You wanted to laugh but was unsure if you should, stuck between helping Yoongi or just watching the show. “You can’t treat me like a child, I am a grown man.”
Yoongi simply blinked, mouth parted slightly and eyebrows arched ever so slightly. He seemed to sigh, giving in as he handed the carton to the stumbling drunk.
“Fine, do whatever you want.” He seemed dethatched already, which seemed like a stark contrast to his previous scolding. To give yourself something to do, you turned and opened a door and pretended to be picking out which frozen hamburger brand you wanted. It wasn’t until you actually looked at your choices that you realized there wasn’t any at all, just the no name brand with a vibrant yellow box, as if that could ever make you want to buy it.
You made a face while hearing a small clap and a very loud, “well, thank you” and turned your head slightly to see Namjoon had snatched the carton and was struggling to stand up straight, moving his feet so they drew a messy circle.
You pulled your lips inwards, fighting back a small giggle and looking at another section of the refrigerated aisle, taking steps smaller than a bird’s towards them. Trying to be inconspicuous, you stole glances, watching Namjoon sip very delicately from the carton, then back at your basket. A part of you hoped that maybe this was why you’d felt the need to stay out. You loved your friends and your brother but sometimes it felt a bit trapped and you felt disconnected with the outside world. You didn’t do the regular ‘parties and drinking’ thing. You never cared for it but you always felt like maybe you were missing something too.
It seemed cliché and kind of gross to think that just because you didn’t fit the social stereotype of a regular person in their early twenties meant you weren’t living properly. You often fought people who said that about themselves but there was something so truthful about their words. Maybe you fought so hard because you believed it yourself and you were just waiting for someone to tell you the same thing- but they wouldn’t. You’d never tell anyone that’s how you felt, so they’d never know.
“Ah,” Namjoon drew out and you imagined a large smile on his face as you opened another door to grab a few microwavable meals, keeping your ears open for the action. “See. I told you I’m a careful drunk. Never spilt anything in my li-”
You heard the scuffle of feet and an anticlimactic crash and turned to look at what had happened, already guessing but hoping not. Your eyes went wide, catching the spreading milk before it came closer to you and stepping away before making direct eye contact with Yoongi. He looked at you for a split moment, confused before going to help up Namjoon, who was sprawled perfectly on the floor. He had milk spots over his glasses and in his dirty blonde hair and you resisted the urge to laugh.
“Do you need help?” you asked immediately, biting back your smile again. Yoongi briefly met your eyes but gave no answer to it and you just sighed before putting your basket down and making your way to the front.
An automated voice came over the P.A. asking for a spill to be cleaned in aisle eleven as you were walking down it again, some paper towel from a package you’d ripped open on your way in your hand. Yoongi had gotten Namjoon standing but he was still covered in nearly a litre of milk and it was spreading. Your stamped the paper towel down with your foot, mind still reeling in the back to figure out why their faces looked so familiar. It didn’t help much but it was worth a try. You went back and handed Yoongi more paper towel, which he took reluctantly.
“Thanks,” he muttered before roughly attempting to wipe Namjoon’s face and then groaning under his breath and handing it to his friend. You went back to your basket, hating the squeak of your shoes against the polished floor when you heard him mumble, “this is fucking ridiculous”.
And then it clicked.
“Holy shit, you’re Jungkook’s Yoongi and Namjoon!”
You’d turned to face them so fast your got whiplash but smiled brightly for remembering it. Yoongi was a bit afraid at what you’d said but Namjoon simply grinned and opened his arms.
“That’s me,” he slurred, then continued to wipe at his clothes slowly and with a furrowed eyebrow. Yoongi simply readjusted himself under Namjoon’s free arm to keep him propped up and asked, “how do you know my name?”
You paused, the smile on your face falling ever so slightly. How could you explain to someone that you didn’t know that you’d stalked their social media and that’s how you knew their name? That was the only thought running through your head as he stared down at you. You hated to think it but his eyes were intimidating and it seemed more like he was looking through you than at you.
“Uh. I- um, I- Jungkook’s like, shown me photos of you guys together a while ago. Not anymore but I just remember lots of irrelevant information so. Yeah. Yes.” You lowered your hand from tapping your temple and nodded, hoping it was a plausible lie.
“O-Okay?” was the only response you got from Yoongi but Namjoon simply began speaking about something you couldn’t quite follow. Yoongi tried to shush him and apologized to the janitor, who was now coming to mop the floor begrudgingly.
He got a grunt in response and then wheeled Namjoon towards the front. You moved out of the way and paused before asking, “are you sure you don’t want any help?”
“Yes.” Yoongi’s response was curt and you nearly took it until Namjoon whimpered.
“No.”
The black-haired man stopped in his tracks. “What?”
“You’re hurting me because you’re so short,” Namjoon whined a little quieter and you snorted (Yoongi death-glared you for it) before playing it off as a cough. “Maybe I’d stop leaning to one side to make up for it.”
“Or you wouldn’t get so drunk and drink all my milk so I wouldn’t have to drag you here at two in the morning, so you wouldn’t have to be leaning to one side because I’m ‘so short’.” Yoongi cut his words as he spoke, being quick and lethal. You waited for Namjoon to respond, feeling ridiculous just watching it.
“That’s a different thing though,” he protested lightly, raising a finger and pressing it against Yoongi’s nose with a small smile. “You need to learn how to argue without bringing other things into it.”
“I’m not arguin-”
“So should I help?” You intervened, not wanting to stand around like a fool any longer.
“No,” Yoongi sighed before Namjoon made eye contact with you and mumbled, “yes please.”
“Fine, I’ll just pay for this and then we’ll go,” you murmured, taking your wallet from your pocket and humming as you grabbed your basket. You walked with purpose, feeling the melatonin seep through your veins slowly and trying to ignore it.
“It’s fine, really,” Yoongi tried to assert behind you and you simply pretended not to hear it, Namjoon arguing on your behalf. You vaguely remembered Jungkook saying almost everyone lost in an argument against him and your brain came up with scenes of Namjoon delegating to groups of people.
You didn’t know why but the thought made you smile.
The cashier looked miserable and you tried to be as kind as you could, taking out your debit card and placing the basket on the counter. You heard the shuffling of feet behind you and wondered if Namjoon would let Yoongi take off without you but caught them waiting by the exit and smiled.
“It’ll be all this and a carton of milk, please.”
A/N: Hi friends! I hope you all enjoyed this! This is actually my first thing I’m posting on this blog which is terrifying but also exciting because I’m actually pretty proud of this so far? So yeah! I hope you like it and part two will be coming soon! Keep yourselves posted friends

The War (Suho Mafia!au Fic Sequel) Chapter 4 - I Would Promise You The World
Tumblr media
Warnings: Mushy fluffy filler chapter...aka it’s short.
Ch. 1, Ch. 2, Ch. 3, Ch. 4, Ch. 5, Ch. 6, Ch. 7, Ch. 8(M), Ch. 9, Ch. 10, Ch. 11, Ch. 12, Ch. 13, Ch. 14, Ch. 15(Finale)
Junmyeon tried to retreat to his office alone box in hand, but I followed closing the door behind me. “Tell me the truth...” I said not turning to look at him, “What could happen if someone got their hands on that box.”
He was silent for a moment before speaking up. “You remember how I told you that you were the Queen in this game?”
“Yes...” I said, finally looking at him.
“The man that we had told us that you didn’t matter to any of this anymore...but that what I had in my possession is something that Kitae wants,” he said.
“What does he want?” I questioned.
“I might have leverage over the owner of the largest executive bank in Seoul,” he replied.
I thought for a moment about what he just said. “Which means if he had what you have he would have access to the bank codes of some of the most powerful and richest people in the city...how did you-”
“The owner has a vice for beautiful women, alcohol, and gambling...a trifecta which led him to not only having blackmail over his head, but a large amount of debt being owed and he lost a game of cards against Jongin...”
“Oh...” I said, “How is it that you have that type of information but you don’t have more power in the underworld?”
Junmyeon smiled. “It’s the way you use your resources...for the most part over the last few years it was about making sure we all had a large cushion of money, trading, and information. Territory was lower on our list...”
“You wanted to build a reputation before you make a territory push?” I questioned.
He nodded. “Which is why you’ll find that until last year our territory was smaller than BIGBANG and VIXX...and then making that deal gave us another push.”
I ran my hand through my hair and sighed. “Why couldn’t I have been born into a normal family,” I mumbled taking in all of this information.
It obviously wasn’t quiet enough though cause a frown crossed Junmyeon’s face. “In a way I wish you were as well...the shit you went through growing up in this life and dealing with your father, then being used as a pawn...me being a cowardly asshole towards you because I couldn’t get my own feelings in check. But in other ways...”
“In more selfish ways you’re glad that I was born into the life that I was...” I said finishing his sentence.
His eyes wavered before looking away from me. “All that happened was you came into my life and I turn into a puppy around you.”
“You turn into a puppy, and I learned not to be a scared little kitten because of you,” I said.
He sat back in his chair, now looking amused by where this conversation was going. “You’re not a scared little kitten anymore, are you?” he said, “You’re a cat that will claw your eyes out in order to protect herself...and her little one.”
I smiled at that. “I guess...I also have a reason to be happy that I was born into this life. Even though things didn’t come about under very happy circumstances...”
“A reason? Only one?” Junmyeon questioned.
Without replying I turned towards the door and went to leave but stopped at the door. “Maybe two...and were working on things...but I think we’ve both still got healing to do.”
“And about what Jinwoo was asking...”
“Don’t push it Junmyeon,” I said looking back at him but with a smile, “You were just as terrified at that question as I was.”
“Would it be such a bad thing?”
I thought for a minute. “Once things die down with whatever is happening...maybe we can work on things without there being a contract involved. Us...we’re doing well because of the bond we have because of Jinwoo but...I think we both still feel like things are rocky.”
“Are you sure that’s not just you?” he questioned, “I know I hurt you...I hurt you big time. But I’ve been working hard over the last few weeks to prove how much I really care about you.”
I sighed and leaned my forehead against the door. “You know...I may not be a scared little kitten anymore, but I still get nervous wondering if I’ll get hurt again.”
I heard footsteps and next thing I knew I was being pulled away from the door and found myself in Junmyeon’s arms. “I will never hurt you again...I promise.”
“Don’t...” I said trying to push him away only to have his grip tighten around me,  “Please don’t promise me something like that...at least not yet.”
He learned down and I felt his lips against my ear. “If I could I would promise you the world, but the only thing I have to give right now is that I will protect you and Jinwoo even if that means protecting you from myself. Because I promise that I will never....ever hurt you again.”
I felt a tear run down my cheek as I listened to him. Out of all the times he had ever sweet talked me or made promises to me...this was the sincerest that I had ever heard him. “Jun...Junmyeon...”
“I love you...and you know that...and I will never ever allow myself to be the cause of your pain again,” he whispered.
He dropped his head down so his face was hiding in my neck. “Junmyeon...Junmyeon look at me.”
“No...” he said.
“Junmyeon, please,” I said.
He sighed and lifted his head up to look at me and when he did I put my hands on either side of his face and kissed him softly. “I love you too...”
To be continued...

mj/jinjin, hiking, ‘technologically assisted dating’
~500 words
With a comical degree of haste, Myungjun whips his phone out of his pocket, almost fumbling to turn it on.
No service.
His heart falls, practically dropping out of his chest, disappointment and frustration flooding his brain.  He holds his phone up high, rocking up onto the ball of his feet, moving his phone around in search of a signal.  The corner of his phone still reads ‘no service’, and Myungjun lets his heels fall to the ground with a muted thud, sighing.
He looks behind him, seeing Jinwoo through the trees, hoping that he can’t smell his desperation to return to civilization.  The sad thing is that Jinwoo is cute, like unbelievably cute.  Myungjun has a hard time believing that Jinwoo actually needs technological assistance with dating.  Jinwoo has the kind of charisma and gravitas that many people strive for.  He tells stories in a compelling way, and he is hands-down one of the nicest people Myungjun has ever met.  Not that Myungjun is complaining; without the internet, odds are that he would be at home right now, trying to convince his cat to give him some affection.
He can’t help but feel a little angry at Dongmin, who insisted that listing hiking as a hobby is what everyone does.
Of course, it is just Myungjun luck that he got matched with the one person in the entire universe that actually likes to hike.  What was he supposed to do?  Admit that he was lying?
Myungjun slides his phone back into his pocket, trudging back toward Jinwoo in his brand-spanking-new hiking boots, the material of jacket swishing ever so slightly.
“Did you find it?” Jinwoo asks; Myungjun had to fib a little to get some alone time with his useless phone.
“Yup,” Myungjun replies, taking his keys out of his pocket and jangling them.
Jinwoo smiles, “That’s good.  It’s even better that you noticed that they were gone so quickly; otherwise, we would have had to backtrack a lot!”
Myungjun resists the urge to dry heave at the thought of doubling back and hiking even more.  He laughs lightly; he can never meet Jinwoo again.  Lying like this, pretending to be one of those people in a granola commercial is exhausting.  Compatibility be damned, Myungjun does not like the outdoors that way.
“We’re almost finished,” Jinwoo saying, pointing through a different set of trees to where the parking area can be seen.
Myungjun pulls out his water bottle and takes a long gulp.
When they reach the parking area, Myungjun makes a beeline for his car.  Jinwoo follows him and offers up, “We should do this again.”
Oh, Jinwoo.  Myungjun smiles awkwardly, “I need to be honest.”
Jinwoo’s hopeful face almost immediately falls; Myungjun gets the sense that this has happened before.  It is sad that Jinwoo has such an intimate relationship with rejection.
“I hate hiking with a passion.”
He expects disgust, shock, horror, really anything other than Jinwoo exhaling a sigh of relief.  The single exhalation melts tension in Jinwoo’s posture, “Oh my god, really?”
Although Myungjun doesn’t know exactly what is happening, he nods, “Yes.”
Jinwoo smiles, putting a hand on Myungjun shoulder, “Me too.”
Myungjun thinks he just fell in love a little.
hi hi readers & ducklings, i feel that i should insert a disclaimer: mj & jinjin could very well be fans of hiking. i like hiking. it’s ok to like hiking. be careful when you hike.
anyhoo, feedback would be dope.

Ice Cream Sundae and a Side of Prince Charming
(aka the first installment of the astro halloween fic i told u in 3.3k word form that i am now sharing to u with. )
Dongmin considers himself to be a patient person. He keeps his cool whenever the other party arrives an hour later after their agreed time of meeting. He keeps his cool when he’s faced with cranky old people who complain and yell at him when their expired coupons are told they aren’t valid anymore. His coworkers and classmates can also agree on this, hence why he is so confident in calling himself a patient person.
He supposes that’s what being a vampire does to you.
He does loses his cool, however, when he is stuck in a forest for a full six hours because of his feline friend Moon Bin. The half-human-half-cat had trailed a group of squirrels in midst of their hiking (another activity suggested by Bin).
“Squirrels lead to parks Dongmin!” Bin hissed, trying not to let his voice be heard by the group of squirrels. “Who knows? Maybe we’ll find a new town. New and better people who aren’t as hostile as those in Seoul, heck maybe we’ll even meet more people like us!” His friend reasoned, before proceeding to turn into his cat form and run off.
Dongmin can’t remember why he was persuaded with such an unlikely excuse, but he had followed trailed behind like a good pet-owner and friend would. Maybe he did hope to meet people of his kind as well, or at least someone who wouldn’t strike a wooden stake at his heart the second they knew about his true identity. It’s been a little less lonely since he met Bin, another magic user like him, five centuries ago when he took the back-then starved kitten into his home. Still, he supposes it would be nice to turn their duo into a trio.
The sun had set hours ago and the full moon barely illuminates the path in front of their eyes. His whole body aches, he drank his last pack of blood early at dawn but had spent too much energy from walking so much and has the urge to rip out his only friend’s throat. And his phone died. Just great.
“I’m sorry,” Bin repeats for the seventy-eighth time today as he keeps his head down low.
“And I told you it’s fine,” Dongmin huffs. “Instead of wasting your breath on guilt, use it to keep walking and find a way out of here.”
“But I know you’re not!” Bin stops and turns to him. “You can’t fool me into thinking you’ve really forgiven me of this.”
He was right. Dongmin still was holding the grudge against his heart, but he had the habit of saying white lies too naturally. It was a habit he developed as he grew older, trying to get on everyone’s good side in order to avoid messing with the wrong people and getting found out.
“Fine! I’m not and honestly, I am not going to forgive you anytime soon if you keep apologizing and act all quiet like that! I admit I’ll only actually forgive you if we somehow make it out of here alive and actually keep your promise of meeting some people who don’t hate us.” Dongmin didn’t know what came over him. Maybe it was exhaustion, the growing thirst for blood, or his growing desire to be accepted the way he is in one way or another. “If all that happens and a gay knight in shining armor rescues us out of here, maybe then I’ll forgive you.”
Bin only looks at him with a growing grin. “And a sundae.”
“What?”
“Will you forgive me if I do all of that and get you your favorite mountain pile of ice cream sundae of My Mom’s an Alien, Shooting Star; all your favorite toppings and extra walnuts on top?”
Dongmin just stares at him. He blew up and just expressed how much he’ll probably never forgive him and that’s what he focused on? Ice cream? (Dongmin’s stomach would have rumbled at the first mention of sundae if only his body still functioned like a proper human being.)
“Yes Bin, I will forgive you if you do all of that.” Dongmin exhaled and walked on forward. “Now can we please keep on walking until we at least find a good enough of a place to rest for the night?”
“Okay!” Dongmin could hear the grin in his voice. “You better hold onto your words Vampire!” Dongmin feels like he just made a deal with the devil.
- Bin’s back on his energetic self, which should Dongmin glad he wouldn’t have to see sulking and moping around. But he could only handle only so much of his best friend’s antics in one day with so little blood in his system.
“Bin slow down, I don’t have cat eyes like you to see in the night.” Dongmin complains and rests against a tree. “Let’s just rest for tonight here, we’ve been walking for nearly eight hours now.”
The half feline looked like he wanted to complain but said nothing. He walked back to where Dongmin was and rested his head on the vampire’s thigh. Dongmin instinctively scratched his head and Bin purred.
“Thanks Binnie.”
“I still think we should walk a bit more, something about this part of the forest doesn’t sit right with me.” He mutters.
“Just give me a while, you know I’m not as young as I look.” Bin snorts at the comment and Dongmin smiles as his exhaustion starts to take over him.
“If you’re ever too tired or hungry, you know you could always drink from me if you really need it right?” Dongmin grimaces. His thirst of blood has gotten stronger from before but he hates the thought of drinking from living creatures, especially if they’re his best friend.
“I’m fine, I’m not too hungry.” He lies. “Besides, you know I don’t like furry blood.” He hears the half feline hiss and take out his claws at his comment but doesn’t do anything else.
He tries to forget his thirst and today’s events, hoping a shut of eye will bring him a peace of mind and hope that today was all a dream.
- It wasn’t a dream.
Dongmin wakes up to Bin roughly shaking him awake and calling out his name. He can hear Bin’s urging pleads to wake up but he’s too weak to open his eyes.
“Minnie, we gotta go. My cat instincts are saying something bad is here. I saw something shuffling towards us and I really don’t like it. We gotta go now.”
“Mm..Your cat instincts also told us that squirrels would lead us to a land of happiness and meet other supernatural beings, now look where we are.”
“Lee Dongmin, this is not the time to be petty. I swear I saw and heard something out there, we have to get out.” Moon Bin’s voice gets more urgent the more he talks.
“Five more minutes mom,” Dongmin murmurs.
A howl erupts from the quiet forest and Bin stops shaking him. He assumes he’s taken his adult cat form. Dongmin still feels too weak to properly open his eyes. All he wants is sleep and blood.
He hears a new set of footsteps in his hearing range getting louder. Whatever or whoever they were, they were getting closer to where they were. He smells Bin’s supernatural blood and animal blood and another one similar to Bin’s, but stronger. Need. Blood.
Dongmin opens his eyes at the smell of new guests. He can feel the bloodlust taking over him, his fangs growing out and pupils dilating and turning black. Bin has his back on him, oblivious to the transformation that is happening to his friend.
The stranger leaps out of the darkness and the first thing Dongmin notices is the amount of blood he’s covered in. Bin growls as he tries to put up a defensive stance. The large wolf growls back at him with a stronger threat laced in his. It’s twice as larger as Bin’s adult cat form. With one step forward, the wolf signed that it ready to fight (Dongmin will forever remember how fast Bin ran and hid in the shadows).
Dongmin focuses on what’s between the mouth of the large wolf, a whole dead deer as it continues to bleed from what he thinks is from bite marks. Before the vampire could attack and try to take the deer, the large wolf steps in front of Dongmin. The creature stares at him for a moment (and maybe it was because of the bloodlust that he wasn’t seeing straight, but for a second he sees the creature’s eyes soften) before setting down the prey before him.
And then he realizes the smell. Werewolf.
He’s too bloodthirsty to ask any questions, he digs in and drinks from the deer until he feels full and he feels himself returning to normal. He feels sated, feels like he could sleep for another eternity, but has so many questions for the creature in front of him, wants to yell at Bin for being such a scaredy cat. But his exhaustion overpowers him and leads him to another deep sleep.
The last thing he sees before he passes out is the werewolf stepping towards him. Sleep, Dongmin hears a voice too deep to be his inside his conciousness, you will get your answers soon.
- The next time Dongmin wakes up, dawn is breaking and he feels energized enough to open his eyes to the sight before him. He sees Moon Bin in human form resting beside him and a new human with dark blond hair with his back towards him and watching the sunrise.
As if sensing Dongmin’s concious presence, the stranger turns around and gives him a smile. His eyes crinkle, Dongmin notices. And that he’s shirtless (Dongmin decides he is a very handsome with very nice abs stranger indeed).
“You’re up,” The blonde stranger greets him. “You seem more concious and humane than you were last night.” Last night?
The memory of last night rushes to his mind. The bloodlust, the stranger, Bin’s frantic attempts to wake him up, the taste of the deer he fed from. The werewolf.
“Y-you!” Dongmin shakily pointd his finger at the stranger. “W-w-werewolf!”
“I prefer being called Jinwoo or your knight in shining armor, at least something a bit more flattering, but you’re not exactly wrong either.” Jinwoo, the werewolf, dismisses the remark with a shrug and walks towards Dongmin. Dongmin puts a hand around Bin’s body, ready to attack.
“And unless you want me to call you Count Dracula, I’m going to need a name.” Jinwoo ignores the protective stance he’s taken and offers his hand. Dongmin stares at the stranger warily before shaking it. “Lee Dongmin.”
Nice to meet you Lee Dongmin, do you perhaps have any extra shirts or jackets you don’t mind lending? It’s begnning to feel a bit chilly.“
- Bin wakes up at around nine a.m and Dongmin gets to know his new supernatural stranger a bit. Park Jinwoo was born in Ilsan, who ran away when he was fifteen when he realized he couldn’t control his werewolf abilities whenever the full moon came. He’s been living on the run with a fake name as Park Jinjin for a while and has met a few other supernatural beings along his path.
"Okay, my head’s fuzzy last night, can any one of you fill me in what happened last night?” Bin asks as he sits on the log with the other two.
“Sure, where do you wanna start from? When you ran away as soon as you saw me or when you fainted?” Jinwoo asked. Dongmin laughs as Bin grimaces.
“From the start would be nice.” Bin mutters.
“I’m sorry, I was kidding.” Jinwoo offers a small smile at the sulking boy. “I went out to the woods because it was a full moon and I still haven’t been able to control my shifting powers with the moon out. I had just gotten myself a prey while I was out of it until I smelled supernatural blood near me. I followed the scent until it led me to you guys.” He shrugged.
“And so you decided that pouncing and leaping out at us was a great way to make a first impression?” Bin asked, unamused.
“My mom taught me to make a hell of a first impression,” Jinwoo joked. “Especially if I really wanted to impress people I liked.” Jinwoo gave Dongmin a wink (Dongmin was so glad he didn’t have any of his own blood to physically show that he was blushing).
“I didn’t mean to scare you guys though, I just wanted to say hi to people like me. But then I saw Dracula starving with blood and I had a body in my mouth so I couldn’t properly introduce myself. You, kind of just ran away without even giving me a proper hi though, so that’s your own fault.”
“Yeah, because you’re literally a dog and twice as big as me.”
“Specifically speaking, a werewolf. And see I’ve always thought the tension between cats and dogs was always silly. Like why can’t we all get along and all? Just because our ancestors might not have liked each other, doesn’t mean we should continue hating each other.” Jinwoo continues on his ramble as Bin continues trying to pull of as if he’s unfazed. Dongmin feels like he’s stuck in between dumb and dumber and can’t help but giggle at the situation.
“What’s gotten you so cheery and smiley?” Bin asks him as soon as Jinwoo left to find a stream and wash up. Confusement expressed upon his face before his eyes widen. “Did the bloodlust fully take over you? Have you gone mad now? Oh my god, Dongmin’s gone mad! I lost my best frie-”
Dongmin covers his best friend’s loudmouth and laughs. “I’m fine Bin. Think I’m just a lil happier now that I’m sated.” He really doesn’t know why today seems more cheerful. Maybe it was his conciousness being glad he’s finally able to make a new friend who’s like them, despite still being lost in the woods. Maybe it was because it seemed like today they’ll finally go back to civilization. Something about today just seemed better than other days, Dongmin thinks.
“You sure it’s not because of pretty boy there who’s been staring at you like a lovesick puppy since he’s been here?” Bin asks.
“What?” Dongmin could hear his voice cracking. Bin’s face splits into the biggest smug grin he’s ever had and Dongmin really wants to rip his throat out now.
“You like werewolf boy!” Bin yells and jumps up from his seat from learning his new knowledge.
“Bin be quiet! He’s still near us!” And his name is Jinwoo, he quietly adds.
“You didn’t deny it so that means you do like like him!” Bin gasps. “This is amazing, Dongmin actually having a crush on someone!” He gasps again and turns to look at Dongmin. “And on a furry.”
Dongmin just smiles and tugs his best friend back on the log. He keeps a tight grip on his best friend’s collar to force him to look straight in his eyes. “If you speak about this ever again, especially in front of Jinwoo, the next time a full moon comes I’m going to lock you and him in a room together for a full night. And we both don’t want that do we?” Dongmin threatens him with the sweetest tone he can find.
“No because you would want to lock yourself in a room with him because you like him!” Bin blows a raspberry at him. Dongmin’s vampire grip on him is lost at Bin’s reply and the half feline jumps up.
“Oh man I can’t wait to tell Jinwoo!”
“Tell me what?” Jinwoo’s voice rings out from behind them. The two turn around and find a half-naked Jinwoo with wet hair (Bin will never forget the squeal Dongmin made at that moment).
“Jinwoo you’re shirtless!” Dongmin exclaimed and immediately wanted to die in a hole. The other is confused but smiles at Dongmin either way.
“I did say I was going to wash up and I feel bad if I didn’t return your shirt.” He replies and acts unfazed to his earlier comment (He’s gotta be at least half part angel, Dongmin thinks, no person as sweet and cute as the short blonde built man in front of him shouldn’t exist).
“Anyways, I found a river that not far from here that will get you guys back on track to the city. I’ll help take you guys back there if you want.”
“Oh,” Right, the city, back to their old life of being the only supernatural being. Dongmin felt his heart broke. He liked Jinwoo’s company, he forgot how much he hated hiking and exploring the outdoors when Bin was persuading and explaining the concept and fun of the whole activity, whereas Jinwoo’s entertaining stories of his travels had him hooked at every single sentence. He helped him by giving up his prey when he was in his own state of loss of self-control.
Romantic feelings or not, he didn’t want to seperate from Jinwoo just yet.
“Jinwoo where do you live?”
“The same city where the stream heads to. Why do you ask?” He cocks his head in confusion at Dongmin’s question.
“Can we visit you there? Sometime? Maybe when we don’t crash into each other in the forest as our supernatural beings but as friends?” The question comes out before he can properly think about it. He feels like his heart is alive and about to burst through his chest as he curses at himself for letting his emotions get the best of him.
Jinwoo smiles and his eyes crinkle the same way they did when they first saw each other and his heart beats faster for an entirely different reason. “I’d love for you guys to visit me again. My friends back at my place would love to meet you guys!” He starts chat animatedly about his friends, something about a Sanha being a klutz, a Myungjun cracking the funniest of jokes, and how his Minhyuk and Bin would get along so well.
Dongmin listens about him describing his friends but focuses more on the stars that shine in his eyes and amount of love Jinwoo holds for his three other friends. Dongmin realizes he wants to be loved and talked about by Jinwoo just as much.
“-How about we visit you now? Would that be okay?” This is getting way out of hand, it’s not like The Lee Dongmin to act this irrational and ask to visit a stranger’s home.
“O-oh? Now? It’ll get dark by the time we get there though, I don’t want to let you guys travel in the dark.” Jinwoo’s cheeks are pink and looks away from Dongmin. “Unless you guys stayed there for the night. But the house is sort of cramped, not to mention it’s super messy, and Myungjun keeps making his potions until dawn and it’d be noisy with all his incantation-”
“We want to stay there. Is that okay?” Dongmin doesn’t remember how they got so close to each other that he can see the other’s moles up close like this, but he doesn’t mind. He likes seeing Jinwoo flustered up close like this.
He looks back up at Dongmin and gives him a small smile. “I would love it if you both stayed for the night.”
“I’d love that as well.” Dongmin returns with a bigger smile.
(Bin watches the conversation and flirting match from the side with wide grin. He mentally checks out the boxes beside ‘getting out of the forest’ and 'finding dongmin’s prince charming’. One large mountain of ice cream sundae to go and he’ll be fully forgiven.)

Allergies
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Summary: Sometimes your allergies are never that friendly, your skin get red, itchy, and a bit bumpy. So you think it is the best if you hid it from the boys.
Words: 1,415
Genre: Fluff
A/N: Thank you for  requesting. I hope you like it. Feedback is welcomed
The alarm on your phone goes off waking you up. Thinking that it will stop on it’s own you leave it to go back to sleep, but when it doesn’t shut off you groan and grab the device. With your head still in the pillow, you manage to turn off the alarm and set your phone back down. You were about to fall back into a peaceful slumber, your phone once again wakes you up. Picking it up, and find that you are getting a call from Eunwoo. Taking the call you clear your throat.
“Morning, what do you need?”
You had to pull the phone away from your ear as the yelling exploded through the other side.
“Y/N! are you coming today? Oh please tell me, you promised to come to the shoot!”
You put the phone back up to your ear.
“Morning boys, yes I will be coming by today. Just give me a chance to get ready.”
The boys all cheered from the other side of the phone, which made you take the phone away from your ear once again. You chuckled as they all cheered.
“I’ll see you boys in a little while.” They all said goodbye together and you hung up the phone.
you put the phone down on your desk and stretch out your back. You walk over to the closet and see what you want to wear to the shoot. You have an itch on the side of your right cheek so you without thinking move your hand to scratch it. You pick out a cute white top that goes into a nice light blue by a gradient, along with a nice black suspender skirt.
The itch returns on your face but on the left cheek, so you once again scratch it, but in return you feel a bump under your touch, confused you walk into the bathroom and take a look in the mirror. Your eyes grow wide at the sight of your face was red and small but clearly noticeable bumps had began to appear. Then it hit you, your allergies have hit you like a truck.
“No no no. This can’t be happening, not today!” You stare at your own reflection, wishing for it to just disappear. You lay your head on the counter. An idea pops into your head. You begin to look frantically in the cabinet for a anti-itch cream to reduce the irritation for bit. Finding the small bottle, you put a small amount on you hand and rub it on the irritated spots. The creams sets in and begins to help take the itch way, but you still had two problems, the redness and the bumps.
Thinking the of a solution, you hop into the shower.
You wipe off the fog from the mirror and take a look at your reflection. The redness has gone down a little but it is still noticeable. After a moment you thought of a solution.
“I can put some makeup on to see if that will cover the redness.”
You quickly dry off and put your hair up in the towel and then search for your makeup bag.
At first the fountain did its job but after just a few minutes of you drying your hair the redness had managed to bypass the makeup completely. You sigh. Another idea pops into your head.
“I can just wear the mask that Myungjun gave me to hide it.”
You head into your room and search for it. After a couple of minutes you find it in your drawer. The mask had a cat whisker design. He told you he saw it when he was overseas and said that it reminded him and the boys of you.
Once you put it on you looked in the mirror to see if it went well with your outfit but also to see if it covered the bumps and the redness, which it did. That made you smile. You grab your bah and head for the frog door. As you lock up you silently hope that they won't notice.
After a short walk to the nearest coffee shop, you buy a nice hot chocolate because it is rather cold outside in the morning. You got you drink and headed to the studio that the boys will be at for a majority of the day.
You arrive at the building 10 minutes before the shoot was suppose to start. You ask the woman at the front desk what floor the studio is on. She tells you the 7th floor and gives you a nice smile. You say a thank you with a smile. You head for the elevator.
As you entered the elevator your face starts to become itchy again. You have to tell yourself not to pull down the mask and make everything worse.
You arrive at the floor and as soon as you walk out of the elevator you hear a loud squeal which makes you giggle.
“Y/N”
The six boys walk over to you and greet you with smiles.
“I'm so glad that you and make it to the shoot.” Eunwoo says. He motions you to follow him into the room they will be hanging out in until everything is ready.
Majority of the time you all spent in the dressing room, Sanha and Rocky playing a game on their phones. They seem to be fighting or playing with each other, seeing as they are trying to distract the other.
You talked mostly with moonbin and Eunwoo because Jinwoo and Myungjun both fell asleep. During the whole conversation your face was bothering you. The itchiness grew worse and you couldn't help but start scratching a bit. As you did the bumps got worse and you were sure that you are redder than a tomato at this point. You tried hard to keep yourself from making it worse, but every time you had an itch you moved in your seat.
Eunwoo began to notice the change in you over the course of the conversation. He saw that every couple of seconds you would mess with the mask.
“Is something wrong y/n?”
His question startled you at first but you got back into it.
“I'm fine. Why?”
“I have noticed that you have gotten very stiff and you mess with your mask every few seconds. Is something wrong?”
“No nothing big,” you lie “it's just the mask is kinda itchy on my face right now.”
You try and blow it off as nothing but that lie gives him more of a reason to worry. He gets up from his seat and makes his way over to you. In the process he wakes Jinwoo and Myungjun up and manages take the other two away from their intense phone game battle.
“Well then why don't you take it off.”
“No!”
Eunwoo jumps back startled at your outburst. The room went silent. And you sighed.
“I'm sorry I yelled. It's just I can't take off the mask.” You looked down at your lap.
“Why whats wrong? We could be able to help you.”
“It's just that my allergies have it me.”
A chuckle abrupts throughout the room.
“So you have a runny nose. Who cares, it happens.”
You shake your head.
“No that's not it. My allergies aren't normal. My face gets all red, bumps form, and it gets really itchy. I just didn't want you guys to see that.” You say sadly still looking at your lap.
“So what. Who cares. Almost everyone had some kind of allergy. Who cares. We won't look at you like you are any alien or something.”
You don't know who said it. You looked up from your lap and saw the boys all around you smiling.
“There is nothing wrong with having allergies y/n.” Myungjun says with a smile.
“There is nothing so be ashamed of. We won't look at you any different.”
“If you guys say so.”
You take off the mask and show them what you were talking about, redness, bumps and all. Their expressions don't change in the slightest. That makes you smile.
“Now come on the shoot is about to start!” They all walk out of the room in excitement. You laugh and follow them to the set.

No Pain No Gain // Kim Myungjun

the prompt: I was wondering if I could get a MJ college au where he has a crush on the school nurse so he ‘gets hurt’ a lot? Have a lovely day!!
words: 2177
category: fluff
author note: this was the cutest and I had a fun time writing it! Also, I made MJ pretty cheeky bc I feel like he would be like that irl.

Sick kids could be very annoying. As an intern in nursing school, you were offered the opportunity to practice as a school nurse for your university.
The amount of college students who came in to your little office was ridiculous. You never had a slow day because of all the parties students were having. You were well-known for curing hangovers just as much as you were known for patching up a simple scratch.
You never really paid attention to the people who came in and out every day. Getting your job done well and completing enough hours for your credits was all that really mattered to you.
Although, there was one boy you couldn’t ignore. He came in at least twice a week with the strangest injuries imaginable. Just last week he came in claiming that his brow bone was sore.
You had no idea what that meant and if it was technically even an ailment, but you handed him an ice pack anyway.
Another time, he came in with a paper cut, which you promptly covered with a bandaid.
He was a music major named Myungjun, although everyone called him MJ. He was popular around campus for his high vocal range and equally well-known for being loud and funny.
You wondered why he got hurt so much, or why he came in for something as simple as a paper cut. Perhaps he had a low pain tolerance?
The office was empty at the moment, so you sat on the little bed and went through your phone to pass the time.
Someone knocked on your door, and you pocketed your phone respectfully. “Come in!”
There was no surprise who stood in your doorway. MJ limped into your office and hopped up on the bed.
“What happened this time?” You asked, rolling your eyes.
“I tripped and sprained my ankle,” MJ replied.
You pursed your lips. It was so hard to believe him sometimes. “Okay, take off your shoes.”
He obliged, smiling as he showed you his ankle. “Look, its swollen.”
You examined his ankle. It wasn’t discolored or anything. It wasn’t even swollen. “Are you sure you sprained this?”
“Positive,” MJ nodded.
You pressed your fingers into his ankle and he didn’t flinch. “I don’t think it’s sprained.”
“Oh, I must’ve been mistaken,” MJ said. He shrugged innocently.
You glared at him, but his cheerful eyes deterred you from being angry. “MJ, you can’t come in here when you aren’t hurt. You’re wasting my time.”
“I only come in when I’m really hurt.” MJ insisted. “I promise.”
You didn’t believe him, “Just try to lessen your visits.”
-
He obviously didn’t listen to your advice, for he came in the next day, holding his ribs.
“My friend kicked me,” he huffed. “My ribs might actually be broken.”
You rolled your eyes. “MJ, one playful kick cannot brake your ribs.”
“Rocky takes Taekwondo,” MJ replied. “He can break my ribs for certain.”
“Fine. Sit down.”
MJ obliged and sat down carefully. He was sure to wince in the all the right places, enough to make you think he might not have been faking.
“Lift your shirt.” You told him.
He lifted it, raising his eyebrows expectantly.
Without thinking of his intentions to show you his clearly sculpted figure, you pushed against his ribs gently. “Does that hurt?”
“Yeah,” MJ answered. “Hey, Y/n?”
“Hmm?” You moved away and washed your hands.
“Can you tell I’ve been working out?”
You turned off the faucet and looked at MJ. Your gaze accidentally drifted to his dark and toned stomach. You cleared your throat and looked up at the ceiling. “Put your shirt down.” You told him.
MJ blinked innocently and tugged his shirt down. “Well, can you?”
Why was he even asking you a question like that? You were a nurse. You weren’t a physical trainer.
“That doesn’t matter.”
“That’s a yes,” MJ stood up.
“Be careful,” You said, reaching over to help him off of the bed. “Your ribs might still be sore.”
MJ grabbed your hands and squealed in a very unmanly way. “Do you care about me, Y/n?”
You rolled your eyes and pushed his hand away, “I’m a nurse, you idiot.”
“I didn’t hear a no,” he sang.
Your eyes couldn’t roll further up your head if they tried. “Goodbye, MJ.”
“Goodbye, Y/n!”
-
“I don’t care if your cat scratched you, MJ, that’s not my concern.”
MJ held out his arm, where a small puffed-up scratch decorated his wrist. “It’s infected, though.”
“So go home and put some ointment on it.” You told him.
Your mood wasn’t the best that day, which is why you were deflecting any effort MJ made to get a reaction out of you.
“Why can’t you give me ointment while I’m here?” MJ pressed.
“Because you’re not hurt!” You told him harshly. MJ’s eyes widened a bit at your raised voice.
“You’re wasting my time,” You continued. “So stop coming in here with stupid excuses! I don’t know what game you’re playing but it’s annoying and obnoxious so stop.”
MJ bowed his head shamefully and stood up.
Immediately, you felt bad for your harsh words. He wasn’t really obnoxious. In fact, his visits often amused you in a positive way. He just chose the wrong day to push you, and you lashed out on him.
All of the pressure of nursing school had been getting to you, and you kept it all bundled up until your frustration boiled over.
“MJ,” you started, reaching out for his retreating form.
“No, you’re right.” He whispered. You wished he would turn around and give you a reassuring smile. “I do come in here too much. I won’t anymore though, so don’t worry.”
He left, closing the door behind him.
-
It had been a month. You felt pathetic. Every time someone would knock on your door, you would pray for it to be MJ, coming in with something stupid like a stubbed toe.
His company was enjoyable for you. It had never occurred to you how much you appreciated MJ’s constant visits until he stopped them.
When he finally did come in, it was in the arms of his closest friends.
One was a fellow nursing major, Eunwoo, and the other one, Jinwoo, was here on a baseball scholarship.
Between them was MJ, held up by his friends arms.
“What happened?” You asked frantically, gesturing for them to lay MJ on the bed.
“He passed out in chorus,” Eunwoo said. He pressed a hand against MJ’s forehead. “His fever is really high.”
“Why wouldn’t he come get some medicine?” Jinwoo asked.
You knew exactly why, and the reason broke your heart. Would MJ rather faint of a fever rather than break his promise and come back to your office?
“You guys can go,” you said as you grabbed an ice pack out of the freezer. “I’ll take it from here.”
After they left, you wrapped the ice pack in a towel and brought it over to MJ. You brushed back his bangs, heavy with perspiration. His entire face glistened with sweat, and his lips trembled in a way that fever victim’s do.
You rested the ice pack on his forehead and moved around the office, grabbing supplies like ibuprofen and a thermometer.
After finding out that he was running an hundred and two degree fever, you lifted him into a sitting position.
He was somewhat awake, but he wouldn’t open his eyes or speak.
“MJ, you need to take this medicine. It’ll bring your fever down, okay?”
He sluggishly nodded, so you helped him swallow the pills.
After making him drink an entire bottle of water, you eased him back into a lying down position.
“Y/n?” MJ spoke, his voice quiet and raspy.
“I’m here,” you said, grabbing his hand and giving it a gentle squeeze. “Go back to sleep. I’ll be here.”
He obliged. You kept a hold on his hand as his breathing became slower and slower.
For the next three hours, you kept a watch on him as he slept. His temperature went down to ninety-nine degrees, which was a great improvement for him.
When he woke up, he was a tad disoriented. You came over to his side and checked his temperature again. He looked up at you, and asked, “Are you an angel?”
Only he still had the thermometer under his tongue, so it sounded like, “Aru a anthel?“
The gleam in his eyes was back, so you knew he was just teasing you again.
Your smile grew, until you were reminded of why he came in here so late anyway. “Never scare me like that again,” you said sternly. “Why would you not come here with a fever? The one legitimate illness you have and you don’t come. What is that all about?”
MJ sat up and looked at you guiltily. “You told me not to come back. I was afraid that the fever wasn’t that serious and I would waste your time.”
“I’m sorry for lashing out at you.” You said. MJ watched as you wring you hands together nervously and continued, “I had a bad day and I took it out on you. The truth is, I really enjoy your company. Without you my job is really boring.”
“Really?” MJ’s voice lifted. His lips broke into a smile. “I knew the Myungjun charm would pull through.”
“That was definitely it,” you deadpanned. Then, resuming your nurse status, you handed MJ a bottle of medicine. “Take two of these pills once for the next two days, just to make sure the fever is completely gone.”
“Okay.” MJ accepted the bottle. “You always take good care of me, Y/n.”
You stopped in your tracks. “O-of course. I take good care of all my patients.”
MJ’s words had unwillingly made you blush. He was right, you always took good care of him because you had become quite fond of the troublemaker. Of course, you couldn’t let him think that.
“I’ll let you say whatever you want,” MJ teased, “but I know you took care of me the whole time I was out. That means you care.”
You rolled your eyes, “Just leave before I really get annoyed by you.”
MJ smiled and gave you a mock-salute. “Yes, ma'am.”
You shook your head at him fondly as he left the room.
-
Just the next week, MJ was back to his old self. His fever was gone and his energy was back to its normal level.
This time, he slipped into your office holding out his thumb. “I pricked it on a thorn and now it’s bleeding.”
As you bandaged it, MJ peered down at you, “Aren’t you going to ask me how I pricked it.”
You sighed, “How did you prick it, MJ? I’m dying to know.”
MJ ignored your sarcasm and smiled proudly. “I was picking a rose to give to my girlfriend.”
Without warning, your heart dropped to your stomach. “You have a girlfriend?”
Why did you even care?
“Well, not yet.” MJ gave you a cheeky smile. “I’m going to confess to her with the rose. Then she’ll be my girlfriend.”
“Oh,” you finished wrapping his thumb with a bandaid. “Well, good luck.”
“Thanks!” MJ chuckled softly. “She doesn’t like me much so I wonder what she’ll say.”
You swallowed your pride. “I’m sure she’ll say yes.”
You looked up to see MJ already looking at you. His eyes fell to your lips before he licked his own and turned away. “Would you?”
“Would I what?”
He looked at you again, his eyes holding your gaze. “Would you say yes, if it was you.”
You could feel his breathing across you face, and it only made you lean closer to him subconsciously.
His lips were inches from yours. He waited for your answer. “Would you, Y/n?”
You slowly nodded. That was all the confirmation he needed to close the gap and give you a soft kiss.
His lips molded into yours and you felt his arms wrapping around your waist, pulling you closer to him.
You kissed him back, accepting your own feelings towards the eccentric boy.
“I’ve been wanting to do that for the longest time,” MJ mumbled when the two of you parted. His eyes were still closed as he leaned his forehead against yours. “It’s really a shame I forgot to bring the rose.”
You laughed and slapped his arm. “You scared me. I thought you liked someone else.”
MJ rolled his eyes, “Why would I come into your office three times a week if I weren’t interested in you?”
“I don’t know. Your excuses sucked by the way.”
“Hey, the kick in the ribs wasn’t an excuse. I actually asked Rocky to kick me in the ribs.”
“Really?” You looked up at him in disbelief.
MJ reached down and kissed your nose, “No pain, no gain is what I always say.”
“Your ridiculous.”
“And I’m all yours,” He shot you a smirk.
“Unfortunately, yes.”

Astro Ships: literal-ktrash
Hi Hi Nessa~. I'm not good at this but here I go~ hehehe. For ship request: I would say I'm an optimistic person, but if I'm in a bad mood I'm more of a realist. I enjoy all subjects, but my favorites are astronomy, physics, and anything having to do with writing/english. I'm a perfectionist with body-image issues (regarding myself) and am a bit too judgmental/critical of myself. I cry both when I'm sad and frustrated, and I'm a ball of emotions. I love cringey humor and puns, and I laugh a lot!
I wouldn't say I have a hard time making friends when I try, I just get lost in my own head when I'm in public and don't really approach people. I can't go anywhere without music, it's my lifeline (I basically only listen to KPop nowadays, but I used to listen to Pop and Hard Rock).
I really want to be an international english teacher, because I love learning other languages and understanding other cultures, and I believe english is the language that binds people around the world since it's used for business and the like~, so I believe it's important to learn at least some. I also love writing and have a love for poetry and novels - my dream is to write a poetry book in at least 3 languages one day.
I think anything is possible (even aliens! our universe is so big! how could they not be real?) and encourage people to dreams with all their hearts, so they can give their life their all! I care deeply for my friends and constantly worry about them, and I'm usually the "mom friend". I've been through depression and have relapses every now and then.
I know it sounds weird, but I can sense ghosts (O.O) - which is why I'm nervous around hospitals, I get all freaked out, my head hurts and my chest feels heavy when I'm in one. I'm also afraid of driving (which I'm working through now!). I believe people have lived many lives, that our souls get another chance to live if our past lives have been short or have been taken away from us too soon. I'm afraid of never finding love and ending up alone in my old age.
I also think everyone has soulmates - family, friends, and lovers, the people in your life are around you for a reason~ and maybe they've known you in another life! I'm a huge LGBTQ+ supporter. I'm not very religious, but I believe the only way to find god is through all religions - having the ability to see the world through as many people's eyes as possible, and understand those around us.
I think everyone deserves respect, from your grandmother to the local drug addict in jail, we're all just humans trying to figure out how to live ^-^. I love all animals (I actually spent like 10 minutes yesterday holding a lizard and calling him "friend"😂), but my favorites are dogs, cats, and horses. I've been a horseback rider for about 7 years and never get tired of it. I tried every sport under the sun in middle school, but never got the hang of basketball (I'm too short 0w0).
I used to get hit with the ball in soccer and volleyball, so I'm a bit scared of sports balls now. I'd rather be called cute/adorable than hot/sexy any day, and I melt when people give me pet names~. I want to learn to sing, dance, kick box, and pole dance (interesting combo, right?). I couldn't tell you what my favorite color is, I don't like discriminating against other colors (kekeke).
I also can't pin a favorite ice cream flavor, but I think eating ice cream with company makes it taste better (goes for any food honestly!). I want to travel a lot when I get older, taking pictures of scenery and cultures. I ADORE nature, and would choose the mountains over the beach any day! I love winter and I'm not a huge fan of the sun/heat. I'm a huge mommy's girl, she's my best friend and I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for her~.
I blush easy and have never been in a relationship/on a date (^////^) so I'm quite innocent. My spirit animal is Stitch (since my birthday is 6/26 and he is Experiment 626!!) and I also just really love Stitch! I don't think I have an ideal type, but I want someone funny, who loves me for me ^^. Sorry if this was all over the place! I tried my best *hides my face* (I would like to apologize for how long this was~ hehehe ^\\\^)
((It’s quite alright, dear! ^u^ I tried to use as much info from your request as I could, but I was worried to make it too long;; I hope this is alright! <3))
I ship you with JinJin! <3
Tumblr media

“do you wanna go out sometime?”
and you’re like O///O
and he’s like >///>
he starts rambling about how he kept daydreaming in class about going out with you and if you two actually go on a date then maybe he can concentrate
and you cut him off with a small “sure”
and he’s like “... uh, great!”
so he takes you out to a cafe
and you two have coffee and talk about life
and as you talk he just slowly falls for you even more
he thinks your views on life are really beautiful
after a while he offers to walk you home
and you let him
and it’s kind of silent as you’re walking
and then once you get to your place
he says to you (in English) “can we do this again?”
and you’re so surprised
like he said it so fluently
you’re like (in English) “of course we can”
and he smiles and kisses your cheek
and he’s like (in English) “see you tomorrow~”
aaaaand from that day on he does much better in lessons...
and you two kind of have a thing~ <3
alright now time for other cute stufffffff
ok but his sense of humor is right up your alley
like he will absolutely text you puns throughout the day
and cheesy pick-up lines
but he’s actually surprised that you seem to love it?
and text them back??
like i think in that moment he realizes you’re “the one”
he’s also super duper supportive of your writing
like he always says that someday he can’t wait to tell people he knew you before you were a bestselling author <3
don’t think this man won’t buy you a Stitch onesie bc he 100% will;;
or if not a onesie, then he’ll totally get you and himself matching Stitch key chains <3
and sometimes he’ll try and do aegyo by imitating Stitch...
it usually doesn’t go well;;;;
but you find it cute regardless~
bc everything he does is cute lbrh
will oftentimes ask to share earbuds with you
bc it lowkey makes him feel like you’re sharing a part of your mind with each other, you know?
he finds that to be a rly cool thing
and he loves your taste in music
whenever you're in public together he makes sure that you’re as comfortable as possible
whether it be talking to people for you, putting an arm around your waist or your shoulders, or taking a break somewhere secluded
your comfort and happiness is his no. 1 priority
he’s like your cuddly personal bodyguard <3
speaking of cuddly...
he loves wrapping you up in his arms
and resting his head on top of yours
kissing your forehead
he loves hugging you
and being the big spoon~
playing with your hair
and just spending time with you honestly <3
he’s always there to comfort you
whenever you’re sad or frustrated
he’s there with ice cream, hugs, and comfy sweaters~
I AM A FIRM BELIEVER THAT A HUG FROM ACTUAL TEDDY BEAR PARK JINWOO CAN CURE ANY SADNESS IN THE WORLD;;
he also loves it when you “mother” him
like telling him to bundle up or eat dinner
he rly needs a nurturing person like you in his life
and loves getting those reminders that you care~
STARGAZING DATES <3
just laying down together on a blanket spread on the grass
crickets chirping and owls hooting
pointing out different constellations
and you look over
and see him staring at you
so you’re like
“what?”
and he’s like
“nothing, you’re just so much more dazzling than the stars~”
and brushes your hair behind your ear
and you smack his arm and hide your face in his chest
bc HELLO?? >///<
but he just grins and hugs you
and even though it’s cheesy, you know he means it <3
he probably likes calling you silly things~~
like honey bun, cuddle muffin, ladybug, precious, sweet pea, etc...
he’s always told you that once he’s rich and famous, he’ll take you travelling anywhere you want to go
and eventually you do~
one of your destinations is Switzerland, and JinJin books a scenic tour of the Swiss Alps for you two
you two have been together for a while now
and he feels ready
so he bought a ring a few weeks ago
he’s been carrying it around since your world trip started, waiting for the right moment (and place) to do the thing
i’m sorry;; i just love travel proposals okay??? <3
and as you two hike along the trail, he looks over only to find that you’ve gone off the path
and are taking photos of this tiny cluster of purple flowers growing behind a small boulder
tucked away from the world
he comes over and admires your look of concentration while attempting to capture the small burst of beauty on the rocky trail
he thinks it’s just like you to find the good in an otherwise mundane setting
and he just smiles
and gets down on one knee right then and there
because he knows that he’s found his soulmate~ <333
