Top 10 Sus Jikook Moments

There are way too many moments to possibly list, but my friend and I thought it would be fun to compile a list of sus jikook moments.

10. 2021 Jimin Birthday Live

Cute and flustered Jimin calling Jungkook? Jungkook coming immediately to spend time with his boyfriend? Hobi calling out why Jimin was in Jungkook’s studio? So many questions.

9. 2015 Award Show Back Hug

Let’s be real, there are plenty of questionable back hug moments, but this one is particularly interesting. The fact that it was so early in their relationship. The fact that it took place at a public award show. The way Jungkook held onto Jimin and how they swayed together. The questionable looks from the other members. I see you jikook, I see you.

Honorable back hug mention is the BE live and the way Jungkook caged Jimin for an incredibly long time with their matching hair. Exuding boyfriend energy to the max.

8. Cute Feet During PJ Run

Honestly, this is just one of my favorite moments that makes me feel giddy. How comfortable they are resting on one another. The way they’re playing with their feet. Jimin’s surprised laugh when Jungkook plays along. And let’s not forget the special photo of Jungkook spooning Jimin.

7. “Let me give you a hug” Dance Practice

Am I the only one who has watched this clip over and over? We get to see how even during work they are always having fun together. But how can we not swoon over Jungkook’s smitten face as Jimin fails to lift him, and the way his smile grows brighter when he lifts Jimin like it’s nothing. Jimin tries to lift him one more time, but fails and instead hugs Jungkook and nuzzles into his neck ever so slightly.

6. Jungkook’s Snow Gift

We should all know this moment. Bon Voyage season 4 in New Zealand. This is the beginning of Jungkook really doing whatever the hell he wants, and he disappears one morning to go on a mountain hike and returns with a chunk of snow, much to everyone’s confusion. He specifically waits for Jimin to wake up and excitedly shows and gives it to him. Jimin is, understandably confused, but we all understand the intent.

5. Malta Room Sharing

I’ll be honest, finding out about this speculation was what thrust me into the world of jikook. (It doesn’t seem to exist anymore, but I had wandered across an analysis video a few years ago). Obviously, we don’t know anything for sure, but there are enough clues here, as well as in many other occasions, that make it possible jikook were room sharing.

(And let’s not forget their cute Malta date)

4. Osaka Live

Similar vibe to number 5, but cranked up to 100. I don’t need to go in depth into this, because we all know, but my two cents is that Jimin was in that room. (Just as he hid in Jungkook’s room during the 2019 NJ live). What were they doing in a dark hotel room with sensual music playing? Eating bread, of course.

3. GCF in Tokyo

Enough said.

2. MAMA 2018

What I would give to hear everything the man sitting next to them heard. Something was truly in the air that day. They were all over each other and incredibly lovey dovey. While we can’t know for sure what they actually said to each other, the look in Jungkook’s eyes speaks volumes.

1. Rose Bowl

Are we surprised this is my number 1? There are so many moments that exist, but all jikookers come back to this one. There are so many questions about why. Why nibble the ear? Why confess his love? Why give a kiss? (We all know why). But the emotions are palpable, as they would be at the end of a high intensity concert. Jimin was emotional, and Jungkook went to console Jimin, as we know he usually does. Hanging onto Jimin’s back isn’t out of the ordinary, but Jungkook took it a step further. And put Jimin’s ear in his mouth. My assumption is that he was saying something, but ultimately decided actions would speak louder than words. To be clear, he says something first, pulls back, and then goes back in, catches Jimin’s ear, and then delivers a clear kiss to Jimin’s head. There’s no mistaking it. Jungkook was taking care of his baby.

Honorable Mentions:

Rainy day fight

“I was with Jungkook [at 4AM on his birthday]”

That award show moment where Jungkook is singing a love song to Jimin and Jin is staring at them lovingly. (There is a video somewhere, but I can’t find it. Please, someone find it. I think it’s from the melon music awards)

Hypocrisy of this fandom is really laughable :)

One of the many examples of hypocrisy in this fandom is talking about Jungkook’s GCFs. People are jumping to cancel us when we dare to say GCFT is a love confession, saying stop disrespecting Jungkook’s hard work and using it for a ship and then they say this?

Could not have been any gayer, best confession of love in cinema history? 🫥 I will be never able to understand this.

The only explanation for the endless dismissing, ignoring and overlooking everything Jungkook and Jimin do and say has to be that those people see actually their bond is different, but so much different that it makes them uncomfortable. It’s really ridiculous.

What is this then?

Changing the borders’ colour from black to white and total transition from the cold tones to the warm tones the moment Jimin appears.

And this?

~ I don’t wanna lie no more, I don’t wana hide no more, what I found in you is so real ~ Both times showing Jimin and Jimin only.

And finally so what exactly is this then?

And pausing the music in GCF Osaka for us to hear Jimin’s giggles? Do those people close their eyes every time Jimin appears in GCFs? It’s really pathetic how they claim the smallest things are love confessions and joke about members being in love, but it’s forbidden when it comes to jikook. When it comes to jikook, they say don’t ship them, don’t ruin their friendship, stop sexualizing them, it’s only fanservice anyway,...

Everything can be gay unless it’s jikook. :)

It’s just sad people don’t acknowledge the fact Jungkook and Jimin are the closest duo (always were) and whatever their bond is, it’s special. But it’s their loss.

Btw that Jimin’s smile in the last GIF is my ultimate favourite. This is love. 💜💛💔 And the amount of people who didn’t know BTS, watched GCFT and immediately asked if they are a couple or said they have to be in love says everything.

"I'd love to see me from your point of view" I was listening to this song by Ariana and it hit me, JM will never have to wonder. He already knows cause JK showed him with GCF Tokyo. Jimin through JK's eyes. Wow are we ever so lucky we were allowed to see something so vulnerable and intimate. And to think a young in love JK is who created that masterpiece for his boyfriend. The shot of JM on the teacups. That is JK's, Jimin on full display. A smiling, happy carefree JM, enjoying every moment, looking at JK, not the camera, knowing JK was making all his wishes come true. You could feel the love through the screen in that moment, how much JK is in love with Jimin and how much Jimin is in love with JK. And JM gets to look back on it all the time and see himself through JK's eyes. JK was so brave for this, esp with that song choice. Excuse me, I am going to go cry now.

Hello, I'm smokingtiger, a chronically ill college student in their twenties studying linguistics and the Korean language. I think I'm most well known on this platform as someone who gives their unsolicited opinion on all things bangtan and bangtan ship discourse. I've been a fan of BTS since 2015 so I have seen this fandom in all of its most vibrant moments. I am a major defender against toxic solos because I ride and die for all seven members of BTS, so slander against any of them will not be tolerated!

I don't subscribe to any particular pairing but I am not someone who hates rps! Usually, I just like to give an outsider/neutral point of view on certain pressing questions that this fandom has towards certain events, so that's what I'd considered to be the biggest chunk of this blog.

Feel free to shoot me an ask about any particular pairing/fandom event and I'll try to evaluate it. I'll be your personal ship therapist, so if you just want to wax poetry about why you think something is the way that it is, come and do it in my askbox. I do have a busy schedule so it does take me a bit to get from ask to ask.

All shippers welcome (but at this point, most of the people at my front doorstep are taekookers and jikookers. You guys are like cute little stray cats paying me a visit)

I typically do not address things/images leaked by sasaengs unless they become incredibly widespread and/or relevant to what I'm talking about. I try my best not to spread things like that and/or promote material posted by stalkers; think of it as outside evidence not properly submitted to a court.

If you leave a heated ask in my inbox and it contains information I have previously addressed, I really won't take your anger seriously; I'm someone who gives little care to outbursts unless there's actual merit to the conversation. I just think that if you take the time out of your day to write something lengthy like that, you can also take the time to check my previous asks or tags using the very useful Tumblr search option on my profile. I think that would be best to clear up any chance of miscommunication, because nine times out of ten, some of my angry anon questions or concerns have already been answered and/or addressed.

Also if you want to ask me something privately, just let me know that you want to start a DM, I have no qualms with that.

And as a final reminder: this page is primarily ship neutral, but if you get confused by the occasional ship post from me, it's usually surrounding aus. I write; it's a hobby of mine that I've been trying to get back into after years of illness plaguing me. I've explained that I don't necessarily think that any ship in BTS is 'real' and that I'm not rooting for any particular pairing -- but I do engage in the creative 'shipping' aspect of the fandom, so expect some fic and au posts. And yes, as a writer, I do favor certain ships (mostly due to the dynamics), but like I said, I'm not cheering for them or praying for the downfall of another. When it comes to legitimate points outside of the creative zone, I treat them all equally. I'm somewhat mentally stable... Just somewhat.

Ok let me answer this ask from like a month ago chile, I'm sorry bestie! AHH I'm still missing so many moments so this will just be from my time in the fandom, so up to like 2018

Let's start with my personal most hated/overhyped jikook moment, because it might be controversial: GCF Tokyo

*gasps from the audience* *boo!! booooo!!* "You need to leave!" *tomatoes start flying my way*

Ok ok, I get it. I have hyped gcft too as the shift in jkk's relationship. But get this: I have never watched it. I could never bring myself to. Reason? I think jimin looks ugly in all the screenshots/clips I've seen of it.

Yeah, I said it. He looks like this: 🤓☝️at all times and it annoys me

The leather jacket doesn't suit him, it makes him look too skinny and his head look too big, the vibes in general are... Off. People always say "ohhh this is how jimin looks through jungkook's eyes 🥺" but hmm... Sis this is not it. I like the fact that they went travelling together but the video is... Hmm

And I find jungkook's interest in gay american singers at the time + naming the whole operation 'golden closet' just 🤨🤨🤨🤨 and I'm afraid that looking at the video in full will either make me extremely homophobic or disappointed that everyone's made it out to be more romantic than it actually is. Also I feel like it's one of those cases where, were it any other ship, cough cough, measures would need to be taken, but because it was jikook people kinda let it slide under the radar.... So for that reason it's my least favourite jikook moment.

My most loved jikook moment?

Yes I have a soft spot because I was actively in the fandom at the time BUT listen. There was something about the vibes. The VIBESS. The footsie under the table. The sharing a room together accidentally on purpose. THE LAUNDRY. The AEGI YAH GAJA!!!!! BABY LET'S GO!!!

Grubby jungkook was extremely cute and this whole period was like peakkk jikook, around the time bv2 episodes were dropping the gay unicorn floatie summer package pics also came out and like..., oh it was rough for us out here ami-yah....

So I am absolutely biased in answering this, I think the hickey and rosebowl and osaka live and the selfie and all the other moments I found perusing twitter and youtube are all fine and good and WILL have me screaming in my room at 3am, but bv2 was LITERALLY THEIR HONEYMOON LIKE IM SORRY. THEY STAYED UP ALL NIGHT TOGETHER "DOING LAUNDRY" OHHH IT'S CRAZY OUT HERE because even if they weren't actively fucking there's something so inherently romantic about sacrificing sleep for the simple fact of being alone together with your beloved.... And they do it all the time like in ITS too..... Ohhhh estoy loco ami-yah.... ESTOY LOCO!!!!

Hello! So I'm a little nervous about sending this in because I don't generally like using the anon option as I stand behind my opinions, but I also recongize that means I'm opening this up to all your followers, as a jikooker who runs a jikook focused blog myself. So I'm sending this in with respect and just as a "opinions from the other side" type of deal. And I hope that even though everyone who follows you won't agree with me, the respect and courtesy will be returned. Kindness costs nothing!

A few days ago you posted this ask and reposnse about GCF in Toyko. Both the anon sender and yourself mentioned not seeing GCFT as romantic or non plantonic or understanding necessarily why jikookers say what they say about it. You both did so fairly respectfully, which I fully appreciate. I'm not trying to change minds at all. I'm all good on disagreeing about viewpoints here. None of us know anything for sure and everyone bases their own opinions off their own life experiences and biases. We are all only guessing here. Lol just figured I'd try to answer the question over what "we" see in it. So apologies for all the explanations over why I am here, and for the essay in your ask box. I write long ass posts all the time on my own blog and it's just how I work now 😂 You don't have to feel obligated to post or respond to this either if you don't want to.

GCF in Toyko is not the make it or break it "piece of evidence" for jikookers in thinking that Jimin and Jungkook could be in a romantic relationship. It's just one in the many things that build on top of each other that is their bond that jkkrs see as likely being romantic in nature. Its one of the things that had many jkkrs, including myself, looking back on previous interactions and on future ones with perhaps a more questioning eye. It's also something that I've seen non armys and non jkkrs raise eyebrows over. I introduced my friend to BTS before and they watched Jungkook's GCFs with me (in order, all of them) before she even knew all their names (we were introducing her to the members one by one and JK caught her eye first so we watched his videos and music before the others) and she asked while watching "is the blonde in the video his boyfriend?" And I explained that it was actually Jimin, who was in the same band and as far as the fandom and we all know, no they are just best friends. And she said "well that's some friend then!" And we moved on to the next GCF in Osaka. Or how often i see clips of Jimin from GCFT in armys "pov: you are on a date with jimin" tweets. Lol But it does show that's its not always just the jkkr bias that makes us think the video has some romantic inclinations.

I have... a lot of posts on my own blog that talk about their Toyko Trip and GCFT as well too, but I'm not going to link them or anything because they are definitely written with the assumption that my views and guesses over their relationship is correct and they are boyfriends, which is not what I'm wanting to do here necessarily. But for a lot of jkkrs, the importance placed on the trip comes from the importance placed on it by Jimin and JK themselves. They talked about that trip constantly since it happened, even in interviews in 2020, as well as expressed interest in doing it again. It was how they went through that trip wearing matching fits on their personal time, went sightseeing and went to Disney and had a good time. How JK filmed a video about Toyko, but Jimin ended up being basically the only focus. The intentional choice of the song because he had to pay copyrights for it and the way he matched movements of the video to lyrics on the song, including during the lyrics "love is a road that goes both ways" with a cut scene of them driving down the road and you get flashes of both a rainbow lights ferris wheel and a regular one. Which felt fairly intentionally queer coded, in a video that starred Jimin that Jungkook made.

Jimin also had no idea that the video would even be made at all. So it gave the idea that the Jimin we were seeing, was the Jimin that Jungkook sees all the time. Goofy, happy, having fun, treated well, etc. All that, paired with the music, paired with how they talk about it, paired with how it was edited, paired with the trip itself, paired with JK surprising Jimin over it all, paired with JK telling us he used inspiration videos from a video editor YouTuber called "making a video for your boyfriend or girlfriend," gives off romance vibes (to me).

Your post also mentioned JK being camera shy during the trip, but I disagree. Being camera shy and preferring to be behind the camera don't have to be one in the same. JK made it into a few shots of the whole video, included starting it off with a shot of his feet on the airplane too. I think it just shows that for Jungkook, the point of the trip and the point of the video wasn't about him, or even about them, but about Jimin. Which also feels romantic to me.

You guys (you and anon) also mentioned how you can see two friends making the exact same type of video about a trip they took and were excited about. I disagree, but this could just be life experiences bias coming into play for all 3 of us. I think a good example that could show the difference in what I think would be a normal vlog video between a friend trip and a "could be something more" trip would be Jimin's toyko vlog that he shared. I did a post about the differences there too on my blog, but rather than get into ALL of that. I'll just highlight my points about how JMs video showed JK ALOT, so he wasn't camera shy, he just wasn't in his own video. Jimins video highlighted more of their activies done, them being goofy together, paired with fun music and cute transition slides. For me, this doesnt disprove a possible romantic relationship between them either, it just is what you would expect from a video about two best friends who went on a vacation together. JKs video was a totally different vibe all together. In my opinion. So the completely different vibe as well as everything else about the trip all put together made the video seem more than just plantonic.

Lastly, his following GCFs were mentioned in your post as well and while all the members do feature in them, Jimin always appears to be highlighted in them. In Osaka, JK cuts the song out completely to highlight Jimins laughter 3 times. In Saipan, Jimin has not only the most screen time, but he also he paired Jimin with the same specific lyrics time and time again which were the more romantically inclined lines. In Helsinki, the colors changed from black to white when Jimin came on screen. Jimin is also the only member to appear in every single GCF video from his first to the last one we have so far. Jimin joking about being the model doesn't just come from no where. Lol but no jkkrs should be claiming (at least I'm not) that app GCFs are indicative of a romantic relationship between jikook or JK and any member. And one or more can be considered romantic while others aren't, or however anyone sees them. Not all GCFs are trying to give the exact same message. At least I personally didn't see them that way.

But again, I'm not here to try and argue really. Or change anyone's mind. I fully recongize how my biases can be influencing my opinions and vice versa for yall and every "shipper" as well. I dont mind if people disagree. I just saw the post and saw the confusion over how/why jkkrs see GCFT specifically in the way that they (we) do and figured I'd offer my perspective as a jkkr who is active in a blogger space. And I think I said all (probably more) that I can say over this topic in one ask. Lol so if you read all of this, thanks for taking the time to read an opinion that differs. This is really interesting! I'm going to present it mostly without comment and treat it as basically a guest post from a differing perspective.

One thing I just want to clarify about my own feelings on GCFT specifically is that even though I don't really get romantic vibes from it myself, I do get why people see it that way. I get why it might be a big "maybe" moment for Jikookers, and I know that it has definitely piqued the curiosity of non-shippers too, and I understand why. I just don't see it as inherently romantic, or like something that can only be interpreted in a romantic way, and that's why there are plenty of people who come away from it without getting that impression too. That being said though, I definitely see the argument.

I re-watched all of the GCFs after reading this and I definitely noticed some new-to-me things. It's so fascinating how we can watch the same material and take different interpretations and details away from it. If anyone hasn't watched the GCFs, or hasn't seen them recently but read through this whole post, I'd definitely recommend revisiting them.

Also, I'm sure it goes without saying, but please everyone be respectful. I'm glad that we can talk about differing opinions in this space, that's something that's valuable to me.

Colour me intrigued and call me David.

Possibly showing my age here but The Lost Boys is my vampire movie of choice always.

Jungkook's photo is dark and gothic, and I am loving the dark era BTS.

It looks like we could be seeing the return of JK's other passion, taking pictures/filming and editing and he is damn good at it.

As a stand alone project or as part of his album release we don't know but either way I am excited. He has an eye for photography, filming and editing and with the lack of GCF's recently this will be a welcome gift.

Jungkook's art is always there to say something, it is intentional with its look and sound.

The similarities between Tokyo and Osaka, Japan is a special place for Jimin and JK.

And Saipan was beautiful 🥰

Now before anyone starts throwing their toys out of the pram I am aware Jimin wasn't the only one in the Saipan and Osaka G.C.F's but this is a Jikook blog so....

Plus Jimin has said himself he is the main model in JK's work

And I'm not 100% convinced by Jungkook's attempt to say that Jimin isn't his main model but a nice try JK 🤣.

There are A LOT of examples of Jimin being JK's main model over the years but that's for another time.

Anyway I digress, whatever is coming our way from Jungkook I am excited, he is a very talented and intelligent young man who, dare I say, is often underestimated by parts of the fandom. I feel he has a lot he wants to say and things he wants to address. When you can't say something outright then art is the perfect way to express it 🌈

Vampires and sexuality have a history, they are seen by some as an embodiment of the cultural fears of the time including homosexuality. In times of extreme repression and fear for gay people, authors and artists have used their vampire characters as a metaphor for their own hidden sexuality and as an outlet for self-expression.

I may be reading too much into this but that's my nature, I'm curious and I want to know more.

Jungkook I am ready for whatever your wonderful mind has created for us.

taekookers in general consider taekook's premiere 'date' a statement, or a semi coming out, or water testing, or normalizing seeing them together. all of which make 0 sense.

1) taekook don't need to normalize the sight of them together as it isn't something abnormal to the fandom in the first place. 2) they're not coming out right before of military enlistment for sure, idk how people even consider that option, and 3) the "testing waters" thing is hypocritical.

what is there to test? reactions to what? there's nothing gay about attending an event together, namseok did it already, jihope did it at pfw, all of these members attended events together for the first time, and it'll probably happen more times in the future with different combinations of members.

and the fact that the people who dismissed any and every queer coded message in jungkook's gcf films are the same ones saying that is hypocritical. gcf tokyo had a queer coded song by a queer artist. gcf saipan had queer coded lyrics over jimin's part twice. gcf helsinki had the entire frame change to white and the filter change to bright colors when jimin appeared on screen (but people love to ignore that part yet always praise the filter warming up at namjoon's part). gcf osaka paused the music twice just to show us jimin giggling and being a goofball. the fact that in general every time jk's voice was heard in any of the gcfs was always because of jimin being at the crime scene. all of that means nothing though, because apparently jungkook is stupid and doesn't know what he's doing or what kind of messages his gcfs send in regards to jimin and the music he chooses is meaningless (even when he himself said he searches for the lyrics of every song he posts/uses) because people are being willfully blind. or jungkook is just a company puppet doing whatever he's told, including highlighting jimin in gcfs to serve a hidden company agenda.

if everything queer coded (the gcfs, showing up with the hickey instead of just covering it to avoid discourse, etc) thing jungkook has done in regards to jimin can't be him testing reactions or normalizing his... rather unique bond with jimin, then what is there to normalize about normal friend group hang outs or public appearances?

I don’t disagree entirely that Jk could have been queercoding his GCF’s, but I dont think it’s likely. You however think he’s Jimin-coding his stuff… and that to me is highly unlikely. Idols in general do not share their relationships, no member of BTS has ever shared his relationship, Idols in general are not allowed to come out.., idols dating in-band is not great for marketing, so allowing a queer in-band couple to test the waters is not an option in SK. If it were only testing waters for a public relationship or only testing waters for a queer member… big maybe.. but all of those together, nope. If Jk and Jimin were actually together Bighit/Hybe would not have let Jk publish that GCF. They let him, because they know it’s a platonic friendship.

You take queercoding to a level it’s usually not taken to. Queer coding (and there is also debate on using this term dor real people, but I do get what you mean) is done by queer people to point out their sexuality, not their relationships. Queer coding is Tae referencing queer artists, and art, it’s Jk wearing queer coded clothing and doing song recommendations. It is not pointing to one person and outing your relationship.

You see everything Jk and or Jimin does through Jikook-eyes. Leave the ‘hickey’ (it’s a bite!!!) and the GCF’s and Rosebowl out of it for a minute… and then what is left of your ‘proofs’? You come to me with the same three things over and over and those just don’t actually proof anything, because it can also point to friendship. Ofcourse Jk and Jimin have a unique bond, they are members/brothers/friends who have lived together for years, who have gone through tough times together, who have worked together on a physical level as well… all of that creates closeness. Look at Hobi and Jimin and how they interact… not that different if only you want to see.

And please, read my posts better, because I’ve explained all of this before and I am not prone to change my mind about this.

Some time ago an anon told you about some reactors that were new to bts watching Jimin videos for his birthday and when the reactors said jikook seems to be the best friends every comment was shoving vmin down their throat telling them they're wrong. Well yesterday I watched some reactor reacting to gcf Tokyo & Osaka and he mentioned he never really saw jikook much together and every comment was like "that's so funny since they're ALWAYS together". Felt like poetic justice lol

Hey, if jikook are actually a couple, when do you think they started dating?

Ah, timeline question! Hm, well, I’m still so very new… I’m guessing there was some flirting and testing the waters in 2015 and possibly serious making out and heavy petting in 2016, based on Osaka Vlive. I think GCF Tokyo was the overture for something more serious than just dating. Just guessing but I think after JK’s graduation, Jimin felt comfortable with true courtship and let their members and family know. I feel like they became deeply committed in 2017 and either really hit their stride or re-committed in 2018-2019. It seems like 2020 was going to be the end of chapter 1 but the group delayed two years and I’ve been sensing a slow drift since the pandemic. Where once Jimin was very flirtatious and bubbly, now he’s shy and muted. Where one JK was very attentive and possessive, now he initiates more affection with others. Could be lots of things not related to Jikook. Could be Jikook dynamics are shifting but not over. But if my gut instinct is right, I think they’ve done couple stuff for at least five years if not seven or more.

How I started to be a Jikook supporter

Hello, I am Julia and I want to share my story about how I started to be a Jikook supporter. 🙂 I always knew BTS exist, but I have never watched them. In 2022 I saw some BTS edits on Instagram and V quite cought my attention, so I started to watch a lot of videos and I quickly became obsessed of them. I immediately learnt they are all multitalented, amazing singers and dancers, humble, down to earth, funny and one of the best looking people in the world.

When I watched their friendship videos, since the beginning I liked Jungkook and Jimin’s bond the most. At that time I thought they are closest best friends. I knew about shipping and I found it disrespectful, because they are real people. But I saw a lot of videos and comments about how V and Jungkook are a couple or the most realistic ship ever. (When someone got to BTS it’s one of the first things he will see, because it’s the most popular ship and it’s the result of their long-term manipulation). I wanted to know why they think they are dating, so I watched their videos, but they were too exaggerated and falsely narrated in comparison to the original content. I knew they are best friends and I absolutely love their bond.

Meanwhile I watched a lot of Jikook videos, because I loved those two together and I got to see GCF Tokyo. And GCF Saipan. I found it beautiful, but I started to think about the songs choice and scenes placement specifically to the lyrics and I couldn’t get it out of my mind. Jungkook is a perfectionist, he does everything to the detail and doesn’t let anything to be just a coincidence. I questioned myself why did he choose that song? Could this possibly mean they are more than friends? Then I saw The ultimate Jikook video on YouTube and it was the ultimate eye-opener for me. I started watching Jikook videos (always with original content), reading Jikook comments and blogs and I learnt about everything that happened. It took me two weeks to be 100% convinced they are more than friends and every other video just convinced me more.

I think the biggest proofs are those things, they 100% wouldn’t do and say if they were just friends. GCF Tokyo with rainbow ferris wheel at Love is a road that goes both ways is my No1 favourite, I am getting so emotional everytime I see it, it’s beautiful, it’s a masterpiece and it’s a confirmation by Jungkook himself. Than Rose Bowl. Hickey, which didn’t need to be shown, they wanted it to be shown. MMA 2018. Changing the last line in The Truth Untold from And I still want you to But I still want you and singing it together (even it’s just Jimin’s line) 3 times. Osaka vlive where it’s so obvious someone was there and that it was Jimin.

And when you think how they are always together, how they look at each other, how they support each other, how they flirt with each other, how they behave and speak like a typical korean couple, how many suspicious things have happened, how other members often react to them, their vlives, tweets, body language, Serendipity song…

I came to the conclusion people either didn’t see everything that happened between them, or they ignored it, or they denied it. Some OT7 army often say don’t ship them, they are like brothers, but you can support all 7 members and Jikook as a couple at the same time. Some of them say don’t ship them only because they are homophobes. And other shippers=tkkrs ignored, denied and twisted every Jikook interaction, because it doesn’t fit their imaginary ship.

Jikook is not a ship, they are real couple. Of course I shouldn’t claim that until Jungkook and Jimin confirm it (which may never happen even if they are a couple, we can just hope one day they will feel safe to share their story), but if you aren’t blinding yourself, you can see it too. Moreover they have the most beautiful love story I have ever seen. They are truly once in a life time lovestory. Sometimes I can’t believe love like this exists. I just wish they will stay happy no matter what happens in the future and that their bond will stay unbreakable. And my dream is to have their song with music video and dance (or even better contemporary dance) because they are the most powerful and iconic duo in the world. ☀️🌙

Last thing I want to mention is what I’ve learnt about tkkrs after I came to Twitter and saw the dark side of it. They are so obsessed with something they want to be real (but it’s not), that they are manipulating and lying as much as they can. For example: GCF Tokyo was supposed to be a Vminkook trip. Who said that? Tkkr. Also ignoring what they said, for example when V said get out of your imagination, it’s not good in there or Jimin I like you the most…which is very disrespectful. And many of them are so jealous of Jikook and jikookers that they hate them together and downplay every single thing to fanservis and bighit script. They also hate Jimin and even Jungkook too, when he doesn’t fit their narratives. How sick and disgusting is to hate another member because of a ship? We should be more respectful to make the world a better place to live. ✨

Disclaimer: this is ALL opinions. This is my interpretation of this video and these lyrics. This is NOT fact. No one has to agree or see the same things. We do not actually know why JK made the music and editing choices he did, all we can do is guess and speculate. And that I'd all I am doing here.

Honestly, excellent song. I really do love it. Thank you JK for introducing me to this song. It has made a home on some of my playlists.

So this first minute of this video is all just Bangtan traveling and eating. I'll make a note that I could be convinced that JK was sharing his hotel room with someone considering his snack table had double of everything on it. Lol but he also just likes to eat, so who knows. We then get a clip of jikook walking side by side with matching their pace. Feet right next to each other, it's obvious they would have had to be pressed very close together during that shot as they walked.

The music then cuts out for a moment, just for us to hear them giggling together over Jimin being silly. He does this again later in the video too, and he only cuts the music for Jimin, to hear his laugh. 3 times we hear Jimin and/or JK laugh in this video over the music. This once again highlights Jimin as special in this video. As our "main" model you might say. The rest of the video focuses on the vminkook outing and shopping trip they did together. And its very very clear that they were having insane amounts of fun the whole time. I absolutely love that so much for them. Idk what this move was Jimin came up with that Vmin did through the whole video though 🤣🤣 the silliness lol

Now let's talk lyrics and song choice! It didn't always line up this way, but the majority of the time the lyric "I got me someone else instead" came on, it was for Jimin and "He is taking your side of the bed" for Tae. Now personally, I think this is a nod to friendship vs romance. Let me explain.

This was the follow up to GCFT. It was the second GCF posted. And the message I think carried over. Toyko is obviously romantic. The message there is very clear, "I'll always be there for you. I love you." This wasn't really a message to us, this was a video FOR Jimin. The message, the feel, the tone of Toyko.... yeah that was all for Jimin. Army got to witness it and appreciate it, but that was a video for Jimin for sure. Osaka though, this message was for us. He is telling US something here. No its not that he used to date Tae and now he is dating Jimin. I think he is using Tae and Jimin to represent concepts here with the lyrics. Tae is representing fun and friendship. Jimin is representing love, happiness and romance.

So he is talking about how for so much of his life he put his value on his friendships. He placed them first, he gave them his free time, his free thoughts, his attention. Friends were the relationships he prioritized. Now though, Now he has "got someone else instead" meaning romance. Romance is taking that side of the bed. Its taking over that spot as his most valuable relationship in life. It doesn't mean his friendships are any less important and impactful for him, but the relationship that will be taking priority for him now would be the romance. He will place romance first and foremost in his life.

The song talks about how important that first relationship still is though. Which holds true, his friends are still important. They will have times when they take priority still, when they "keep him up at night" like the lyrics talk about, meaning he gives them his time instead of to his lover on occasion. Friendships still need to be cherished and nourished and fostered, even if romance enters the picture. But that romance will always be his priority now.

It's a video focused more on friendship that still managed to carry over the themes and ideas from Toyko and address them again here. He addresses the importance of his friendships while still highlighting his romance as his number one focus from now on.

Hopefully this makes sense. It's my thought process behind it all. And I very much so could be biased about it considering I do think Jimin and Jungkook are boyfriends. Like I said at the start, these are my personal opinions. You are absolutely free to disagree or agree with any or all of it. I hope it helped explain how I see things though and wasn't too confusing! 💜

Hi! I love your jikook timelines! One thing I always found interesting was the July 2016 (pre-recorded) vlive of JM & Jin watching JK on that reality show with Minwoo. It looks like it may have been filmed the same day as JM’s vlive on July 13th? Anyway, all of JM’s comments about how “he (JK) doesn’t act like this with me” and “he shows no emotion to me” are so interesting, especially considering how they are with each other now lol. To be able to see how JK evolved over the years just makes the possibility of them being romantic more realistic to me tbh. Like, it wasn’t a switch that was turned on one day, there is a very obvious evolution from their past behaviors with each other to the present day.

First of all, thank you for reading and I really appreciate your compliment.

Now to your question:

From the clothes JM is wearing it does look like this Pre-recorded JM&Jin vlive was recorded the same day as JM’s Vlive on July 13th. If this is correct, then this was recorded a day after the famous Osaka Tae Vlive. Interesting?

As I mentioned in my timeline, I believe there was someone in JK’s room during that infamous Vlive. Was it JM? I can’t say for sure. But JM’s behaviour during his live the next day is suspicious, especially making clear he doesn’t want to let Tae into the room for his Vlive. His over enthusiastic rejoicing about Tae forgetting the key to his room during the live too.

Could whatever conspired the previous night have something to do with JM’s statements in the recording you refer to? Could it have affected his mood and thoughts about JK? Possibly.

What we see is JM showing frustration that JK “doesn’t act that way with me”, and that he doesn’t show emotion with him. I found those statements kind of strange. This was recorded in July 2016. Long past JK’s ‘rejecting JM’ phase. Just as an example, the Jan 2015 clip where JM is looking to interview JK, whom he states ‘is avoiding him’. It’s quite obvious from V’s reaction and then JM’s “It’s a joke” answer to V that it was quite the opposite. Also, by this stage JK is all over JM, everywhere and all the time. So, JM’s statement is strange to me.

Jin’s reaction to it, saying JK is like that with him too is also funny.

Are they trying to create a narrative here again? That JK is cold towards JM? Are they trying to deflate the Vlive from the previous night? That it couldn’t possibly have been JM in the room if JK has no emotions towards him? Truthfully, I just thought that one up. It’s all supposition.

Saying that, JM’s remarks could have been genuine. Him thinking that JK shows him no emotion, or maybe not on the level that he is expecting from him.

I have mentioned that 2016 was a push and pull year between the two. JK wants this relationship, and he feels the feelings, but he has a hard time showing them. He had mentioned that saying “I Love you” was something he found hard to do, and JM complained JK never said it to him other than in front of the camera. Also, JK was asserting himself within the relationship at that point. JM is older than him, his hyung. What does that mean as far as their relationship? These were things both JK and JM were wrestling with. So maybe JM’s complaints were as to why JK isn’t as free with him. You know, sometimes when assessing a relationship you are not always being your true self, sometimes it’s like walking on egg shells, scared that being your true self will scare them off. This could be true even with these boys, that have known each other for such a long time. Even then there can be things you are hiding from the others (for example: JK was hiding his struggles from the others, until JM found him crying at night..).

Like you said, both JK and JM have grown and matured so much since then.

And if in July 2016 JK didn’t show JM emotions, well, since then he has done so tenfold. GCFT, GCFS and RB come to mind off the top of my head, to start with.
