Under The Red Hood(2010)-The original comic is good in it's own right but the movie is leagues better written(Rare comic book adaption exception lmao)

Azreal:Death's Dark Knight 3(Can't give commentary on this one since i don't know Azreal like that,sorry)

Jason also appears in the Lego DC Super Villains games that i highly recommend as well especially because my girlfriend is a mega fan of it and i don't know much about Lego Batman 3:Beyond Gotham but please avoid the aformentioned original Rhato,Red Hood:Outlaws and the Gotham Knights game as they feature extremely problematic writing not limited to but including racialized misogyny and ableism and do disservice to Jason himself anyway so you wouldn't want to consume them to begin with if you want to like him.I have mixed feelings on the Arkham Knight and Injustice games series' but they are objectively fairly good so i wouldn't say no to giving them a shot to see if you like them

And for the finale we have Wayne Family Adventures-Definitely a good read but to be totally honest it does Duke DIRTY and it sucks so much of DC to have marketed as his series to not only not follow through at all and make it an ensemble cast instead but ALSO deprive him of his actual characterization and story to make him a demure weak black boy stereotype.I won't judge you at all for liking it if you decided to read it or have already but kindly keep this in mind and consider joining me and my mutuals in our rewrite of it to give our Signal of Hope and Chaos the writing he deserves or at least support us through likes and reblogs!Happy Jason readings and have a good day💕

Eddie didn’t like to think about his pen pal anymore. Not because it turned out his pal was a half-angel, or that he became an angel of vengeance who murders bad people, but because Eddie wasn’t human anymore either. He was a devil, a spawn of hell, something vile that did not run around saving people like a real hero would.

He wanted his memories of his friend to stay pure, to remember the days when he had a friend who saw him as a fellow hero, and to not have that memory twisted by what happened to them both.

It seemed his pen pal did not get that memo.

The little boy he used to know was a full grown man dressed in red robes of vengeance with red wings, a magnificent angel who stood on the roof outside of his window like he was born to defy gravity. He even had a well-trimmed five o’clock shadow. Eddie rushed to the window and threw it open.

“What are you doing here, Jason?” he hissed, glancing around the neighborhood, hoping none of the other kid devils were watching them. “It’s dangerous down here.”

Jason laughed, a carefree rumbly but somehow musical laugh that no doubt woke the neighbors, a different sound to the sharp, harsh laugh he had as a kid. Eddie felt warm listening to that laugh.

“I came to pay my pen pal a visit,” said Jason, sitting down and leaning towards the window. “You haven’t written in a while. I was worried.”

“Have you seen me?” Eddie leaned out of the window just in case his angel friend had problems seeing in broad daylight. “Have you seen this place?” He looked up and down the empty street, the dead grass lawns and the skeletal trees in the middle of summer.

Jason snorted. “I’ve seen worse in the Narrows.”

“Jay, look at me. Look at yourself. I’m a devil, you’re an angel. This isn’t going to end well.”

“Who said it has to end at all?”

Eddie winced.

Jason seemed to go still. “Do you want it to end?” His voice sounded neutral.

“No! Of course not. It’s just…” Eddie looked back at the house and ran his hand through his hair, looking at Jason tiredly. “They hate angels here. It’s all they ever talk about. That ‘angels and devils can’t mix’.”

Jason shrugged. “Well, who cares what they say? What do you say?”

Eddie stared at him, the way the light played through his feathers and made him glow. “I don’t want them to hurt you.”

Jason flared his wings with a small smile. “They can try.”

This one needs some backstory ^^U

Jayeddie is the ship portmanteau of Jason Todd and Eddie Bloomberg, aka Kid Devil/Red Devil. Eddie was the sidekick of Blue Devil, a reluctant superhero, former stuntman fused to a demon suit (comics xD), later reincarnated into a demon (???).

Circa 1985, Blue Devil #19 was published.

"pen-pal wonder" añsdlfkjasdf.

The comic shows various Kid Devil misadventures. The last one shows that he's pen-pals with Robin; they write back and forth talking about the cases they're struggling with, and realise they're connected. Jason flies to Los Angeles, and they deal with them, parting as friends.

Now, technically, this happened "pre-crisis", aka, with a previous and quite different version of Jason. It wouldn't be canon for post-crisis Jason (aka the one who stole the Batmobile's tires, was murdered, resurrected, etc.). EXCEPT this is a panel from Teen Titans vol. 3 #42, in 2007!

(Geoff Johns knew about this obscure as fuck fact but could not be bothered to portray Jason's Teen Titans appearances with any accuracy rme)

This means Eddie is the only peer robin!Jason knew and was friends with in his time. He's also like, the only person from his past that gives him any grace, as seen here (I'm not saying Jason makes it easy for the others lol, but it's worth-noting!).

Aaaaand they never reunite or have their friendship mentioned again. Ofc.

Now, this issue of Titans also tells us about how Eddie went from regular human sidekick to gaining his own devil-like powers.

To gain them, he basically makes a deal with the devil: if his trust on his mentor Blue Devil is broken, when he reaches the age of 20, his soul will go to Neron, serving him. Eddie takes the deal because, even if often he doesn't like Blue Devil, he's confident he can always trust him.

That's the moment Neron reveals that Blue Devil is indirectly guilty of Eddie's aunt's death (his only caretaker as a kid), and knowingly kept that information from Eddie. Which means Eddie is doomed!

I only know information about Eddie after this second-hand: he gets free from his deal by losing his powers a couple of times (?), at one point he meets a future, soulless version of himself...

My point is, the combination of that past friendship that against all odds he still remembers fondly + the devil's bargain gave me an idea about Jason helping Eddie with his deal/freeing him from Hell. It's in its embryo stage, and I want to read more Eddie comics first, but I'm excited about this one.
