“I can feel my hand. I can feel everything. And I want to keep feeling everything. Even the painful, awful, terrible things. Because feeling things is what lets us know that we're alive.”

Critical Role spoilers behind the cut
I'm behind but thoroughly spoiled. I think FCG is going to die on my way to work today and I have no idea how to handle that. Should I hold off and listen on my way home?
Honestly, I cry at work semi constantly since I'm on the battle of the books committee so I'm always reading heartbreaking books to evaluate them for the list. Crying over a fictional automaton isn't even novel. Y'all should have seen me when I read A Rovers Story.

Title: Other Words for Home
Author: Jasmine Warga
Series or standalone: standalone
Publication year: 2019
Genres: fiction, poetry, contemporary
Blurb: Jude never thought she'd be leaving her beloved older brother and father behind, all the way across the ocean in Syria...but when things in her hometown start becoming volatile, Jude and her mother are sent to live in Cincinnati with relatives. At first, everything in America seems too fast and too loud. The American movies that Jude has always loved haven't quite prepared her for starting school in the US...or her new label of "Middle Eastern," an identity she's never known before. But this lift also brings unexpected surprises - there are new friends, a whole new family, and a school musical that Jude might just try out for. Maybe America, too, is a place where Jude can be seen as she really is.
