oh, wouldn’t it be nice? - nsfw, some angst, eddie finds richie’s obituary that he got from adrien (the park scene in chap 2; at least i think it was adrien), SUPER SWEET OMG, i had to stop a few times from the sheer amount of emotion this gave me

parental interference - in 1989 some parents are coming to their senses when it comes to a certain clown, i love went he’s an awesome dad, T rating, i suggest a peek at the trigger warnings/tags just in case, canon-typical triggers, again i really love wentworth tozier in this fic he’s a 10/10 dad

i feel like i know you (but we never met) - post season 4 of stranger things, ambiguous / open ending, teen rating, oh boy this made me emotional!, without spoilers i have to say this is such an angsty fic and i love it, this fic is written beautifully, the party all forget will because of vecna suppressing their memories, spoilers: mike puts everything together to figure out who the "missing person" is - @andiwriteordie

something's made your eyes go cold - TW SUICIDE ATTEMPTS, rated mature, mike is chronically suicidal, very very angsty but relatable (sadly), oneshot - @defendingtammythompson

*all the time in the world - i literally know nothing about the dsmp but the way this was written is so beautiful, i love angst and buddie but also buck angst gets me the most, evan buckley used to be someone called karl jacobs but eddie doesn't know that and thinks buck is a war veteran, he's not entirely wrong but also don't make me fact check that beyond reading this, this fic makes me feel super autistic in a way i can't explain, time travel and secret identities are just so my jam dude, bonus chris moment that made me squeal bc chris eddie and buck are so family material - @official-impravidus

I am assuming you are somewhat of a Fandom Elder and have been around the block more than a few times. Curious if there is anything interesting you've noticed over the years, or even if there's people you see and think "wow you're still making content" and stuff like that LOL

i dont know if i'd quite all myself a fandom elder, mostly because this is the first time ive actively engaged with the fandom in like 15 years, and definitely the most ive ever engaged. i only started this blog back in november? and my memory is not very good, especially since ive had The Plague. there are definitely other people who could give you more concise observations and histories.

but i have been a passive observer for a really really long time! i used to cycle in and out of my south park interest, but ive been pretty solidly observing since 2019 this time around. i think theres probably only one of two blogs who are still at it, but unfortunately, a lot of people will like passionately fall out of love with south park and scrub all their content away. this does happen with any fandom, esp if people have bad experiences with it, but like, the rate is really really high for south park fans for like pretty obvious reasons.

there are definitely artists that cross my dash that im like fuck man i miss when they were active, and i like remember their pieces when they were initially posted.

its also really funny to see like "fandom pipelines". like for example, i was following a lot of sp artists in 2019, and when IT chapter 2 came out a LOT of them went ham for it. i wasnt really actively observing south parkies in 2017 when ITch1 dropped, so idk if the same overlap was there, but it was definitely there for ITch2. so i went, saw the movie, caught the brain worms, became a very dedicated clown blogger for 3 years, and then some shit happened with one of the actors that kind of really throttled that fandom and clown guys went one of two ways, back to south park or on to Saw.

and being a big reddie guy, and watching the clown guys go back to south park and ship kyman especially, it really opened my eyes to kyman. this is my first time in my 18+ years of being a south parkie that ive shipped kyman. part of it is the reddie similarities, part of it is the changing fanon perception changing to stuff im more interested in.
