Restocking and tidying up the medical room in the nearest hideout just in case if someone had gotten injured on a mission. While putting down the boxes to see if any of the medications were expired or broken. A small book falls out from it and it lands close to Kabuto’s foot. Glancing down, he wonders just what kind of book it was so he decides to open it from the middle... 

“There. Your eyes don’t seem to be that damaged despite the debris and the dirt that fell on them. But you still need to rest since your chakra levels are a bit low. Maybe within a day or two, you would be fine. By the way, thank you for not putting me in a sharingan genjutsu by the way.”  He snorts as he removes his gloves as he starts to put away the clean water cup used to help clean the corners of Itachi’s eyes and his eyelashes. 

But before he could even stand up from the mattress of the bed, a hand reaches over and gently grasps onto Kabuto’s arm, “Kabuto. Wait.”   The medic stops as he is told and he sits back down on the bed. “What is it Itachi-san? Is there something else you need from me?”   As Kabuto started to question him, Itachi, takes in the sight of how surprisingly delicate Kabuto’s appearance looks  Kabuto’s sharp dark eyes and his silver hair that seemed to perfectly match with the outside cloudy grey sky. That same hand that grasped onto his arm then moves to their cheek as he leans over to press his lips over theirs. Kabuto hesitates to move, bewildered by their action, until they decide to pull him into the bed as his hands reach down to grip onto the hem of Kabuto’s shirt and pulls upwards... 

He was... surprised that despite that the book was quite graphic of the sex scene, it was surprisingly sweet. Like something akin more into a love novel than a smut one. But he did wonder on who on earth wrote this, since he isn’t sure if Itachi would show such an attraction to him.  But if anyone here would catch him with this, he would get in trouble. He might have to destroy it sadly. Still, a man can dream of a guy like Itachi having a crush on him.
