Once again BEGGING the Jojo fandom to educate yourselves on plurality and systems before talking about Doppio and Diavolo. I'm so serious. I've talked about this so many times both on this blog and in general and just. It's fucking exhausting being a system and seeing people (singlets) debate on if Doppio and Diavolo are schizophrenic, or delusional, or saying that they're the same person, or saying that, actually, they're two separate people who just think they're in the same body and just.

Did you all quite literally miss the whole scene of Polnareff explaining plurality? Araki did his research and literally had to use Polnareff as a way to hold your hand through explaining that Diavolo and Doppio are canonically explicitly a DID system, and somehow you people still don't get it.

I don't have the energy to explain it anymore because I just sound like a broken record. Google is free. For the love of God, please do some research. I'll even give you the resources, just please read them.

In fact, I'll even link my own post from when I, as an alter in an actual irl DID system, analyzed Doppio and Diavolo's plurality and how it was handled in Part 5!

SAM and his familiar~ When you wish upon a star~

Gah I’m still shy to share those concept, but it truly made me wonder why the "star wish" event didn't have alternate outfit~ Except our little Ortho (precious, best gear each time)! Anyway let's follow again our dear Sam in his scholarship journey!! He came from the Disney which is literally related to "the famous Disney star wish"!! It definitely has an important place for him~ Also thank you for all your feedback for Sam!!! I am happy for him!! You little one are so lovely!! Thank you!

They're celebrating the star wish event at the Mystery's S shop, Sam didn't belong to any dorm as his scholarship is similar to student exchange, he resides either at his grandpa's shop or at Ombrorio (just like Yuu and Grimm)~

Being far away from Jubilee port they still celebrate the event like they should in their home fashion way, singing, dancing, grooving and praying for "Evangeline".

Being outcast from others students (as they declared that Sam was cursed and brought misfortune) noone came to ask for his wish.

Sam couldn't care less as "a better wish is to stay a mystery", making his friends on the other side worried about him not having human friends.

Eventually K with Sam's grandpa's help could sew some outfits, get some star wish crystals and decorate the shop backyard to enjoy with everyone. They enjoyed their night and waited for shooting star praying for "puppet becoming true little boy", "lost boys fighting pirates from the second star" and "Evangeline being with her lover"!

The next morning K and Sam were recycling their outfit and jewelry as lucky charm fortune to sell to others students, like a "lucky shot only work once"! Smiling and laughing that human are so naive...

As for your response, I actually see him a little more delusional in later stages of his yandereness(?). At the beginning is aware, but the way you wrote him dismissing his darling kinda gave me the vibes of delusional and still being aware... but not caring. I mean, if the two of you broke up, you'll be fine while him, a hybrid whose nature tells him his partner in life just rejected him, will be in shambles. Are you really going to be that selfish? You leaving him is the equivalent of endearing everyone in the rainforest: he won't be able to take on his power Ranger duties, won't be able to take care of the whitered zones...

And I know the bird part was meant to be scary, but I read somewhere that, at times, Tighnari's burst pass the enemy and targets fish and birds. Yes you put it perfectly anon!! "Delusional but still aware... Not caring." That's EXACTLY how I picture Tighnari if he ever snapped. I can't see him not realizing his situation since he painfully knows that he already lost you. His fellow rangers, the withering zones, his duties– all of that is secondary to him. You come first. Doesn't matter if you'll play along with his madness. You need to come home. If you wanted to call him "master" so bad just like Collei then don't worry, he'll make you his pet.

And omg yes that sentence sounds exactly like something he'd say.

Long Post: HSMTMTS S1 re-watch: It’s crazy to think Rina changed the game for the writers on 105 because when you watch 101-104 it really makes you wonder if some directing choices are intentional or just came out, particularly from the actors acting choices and the rest just totally solidifies Rina's whole arc. For example:

Gina’s first entrance on the show is when Kourt mentions Ricky to Nini. She is at the back on her locker when Ricky enters the scene to talk to Nini. That’s an intentional framing. On 101, before reading the cast list, he is already looking at her from across the room. On 102, he looks breathless at Gina’s dance during rehearsals and there’s a moment he keeps looking at her even after she walks away. Same episode, their first talk at the stake park does feel like the tension and lingering gazes are intentional. Like you are meant to feel the tension. And you can hear Breaking Free playing from Gina's headphones.

On 105 it does feel odd how mad Ricky was about Gina going with EJ to the homecoming dance because wouldn’t that be good? That EJ isn’t on Nini’s orbit anymore? Even Gina questions him over why is he making her dating life his business and he didn’t know why. He definitely had a crush on Gina then. He had one conversation with her (skate park) and felt like they had a connection ("l thought we sort of got each other"). If you think about it, he internalized Troy and Gabriella's outsiders narrative onto them, which it’s pretty telling.

The whole confessional "Ricky intrigues me and I don’t get intrigued" and "Does she intimidates you? Can’t say she does" tells you they were going that road, at least Ricky having a crush on Gina early on and Josh was told to act this way around her, but it was ultimately the 105 car scene that changed the plans in terms of where the romance was going, not longer being a plot device but a slow burn. And mostly, Ricky stayed in the show for Gina. This is something non-Rina's never seem to put any importance into. Ricky joined the club for Nini but ultimately stayed because Gina's encouragement made him see his own worth (and that defining moment was on 102).

To me, next episodes were key and it throws away the argument that Ricky didn't have a crush on Gina or wasn't pursuing her romantically. Gina dropped her "plans" and Ricky stopped his active pursue of Nini right after homecoming. Each of them forgot what their initial motivation was. This is why the "second choice" argument falls void. Ricky could’ve continued his pursue of Nini especially because at this point he knows she’s not longer in a relationship with EJ but he wasn’t focused on her anymore and those episodes point that out. On 106, Big Red straight up asks him if something happened with Gina on Friday, to what he responds he isn’t sure [if it was romantic] and you can see them gazing at each other across the room (with Nini unbothered in the middle of them. Again, intentional framing).

It baffles me people were trying to make Rinas feel delusional for thinking Ricky had a crush on Gina when he was obvious on his intentions. Before the song, in this scene from 106, Gina was the only one to support his idea and right off the bat she could feel his distress over the possibility of the show getting cancelled. She tried to joke about it but softly changes the subject because she could read him. It points to the emotional connection they already share. After he literally sings to her, Ricky flirts with her and I feel like since Gina didn’t have much experience she didn’t know how to read the whole thing. It’s funny because after Ricky tells her she’s good at everything and says "I can’t forget about anything that happened at homecoming" you can see in his face that he is waiting for a reaction from her — one she doesn’t give him. The scene is pretty layered.

There’s this scene on 107 where Nini clearly flirts with him and he seems uncomfortable. Instead, he looks behind him to see if Gina is bothered by their interaction and goes to sit by her side afterwards. Does that seem like a guy that is desperate to go back to his ex girlfriend now that he is seeing the signals? No. Mind you, there’s a time jump (about a month) between 106-107. Enough for Gina to know where Ricky’s house was and how long it takes her to walk there. They probably spent a lot of time together and this might also be the time Ricky got to have Gina’s mom phone number.

On 107, Gina and Ricky's emotional connection is made clear again by them talking about change and Gina reading Ricky like a book. They both share a strong understanding of each other that gets later confirmed by them on season 2. They arrived at the party and Nini straight up notices their closeness and considers them a "we" and Ricky at this point is not trying to get back to Nini. He interacts with Gina in a way that feels like he is introducing a soon to be lover. He isn’t even trying to make Nini jealous. He isn’t even close to her at the party because his focus is on Gina. After that phone call with Gina and her mom, he can tell she is distressed so he walks off straight to the kitchen to gather her stuff so they can leave, together. Gina shuts him down and tells him not to call her anymore and the first thing he does is grab his stuff and leave the party. Nini tries to stop him but doesn’t get the reaction she expects. And important to notice how he includes Gina in all of the things that are making him distressed.

Gina tells Ricky not to text her anymore and that’s because she thinks there isn’t any point in them continuing whatever their relationship was since she’s leaving (not in those words, but the subtext was there) and he still sends her multiple texts that get unanswered. It again baffles me that some claim Ricky didn’t care about Gina leaving when he was distressed and was trying to be in contact with her. He even firmly claims Gina will be back and when Nini asks him if she texted him, he goes and anxiously asks her if Gina texted her. Nini makes the first move in telling Ricky to practice with her after rehearsals and funny enough, the almost kiss happens right after Gina texts Ricky she is leaving for good. It took Gina being removed from an episode and Ricky believing she was gone for Ricky and Nini to get closer after what was like more than one month.

Opening night makes it very clear that Gina and Ricky were pretty much left in the open. When Ricky waits for Gina backstage after she comes back he tells her "I wish…I don’t know what to say" and Gina tells him not to say anything. She also makes it clear she’s only back for one night only. Was he going to say "I wish I knew you were coming back?" Who knows. At this point Ricky had regressed back to who he was and his confessional during that scene tells you this. "Maybe I’m back to who I always was. I don’t know something is different". He is stating that there’s a before and after Gina for him. And notice how the Rina cue is playing during this scene — a cue that is a representation of Ricky’s feelings for Gina, not the other way.

You cannot say that if Ricky knew Gina was staying for real, he would’ve gotten back with Nini. There’s also a quote people don’t pay attention to and it’s when Gina asks him what happened since he dropped out of the show and he says "It’s a long story. I could ask you the same thing". It hints he isn’t okay with how things went down with her. Regardless, I’m glad he got back to Nini on season 1 because he needed to get through that process for growth.

Season 1 tells you the basics of their arc and why it took them so long to get together. It basically confirms that Nini represents the childhood Ricky is so afraid to let go of and Season 2 is actually really good at showcasing Ricky’s internal struggle with trying to suppress his feelings for Gina and pushing for something he knows has not future anymore. He wasn’t fighting for Nini but more like for things to stay stagnant because that’s his confront zone.

Ricky and Gina's dynamic on season 2 is brillantly acted by Josh and Sofia because is in the subtle moments and foreshadowing and if you as an audience are used to things being told to you — you would’ve never understood Ricky and Gina as a pairing. I might do one for season 2 when I finish the re-watch for S2.

Do you think Daemon ever romantically loved Rhaenyra?

Romantically? No, but he might have had some familial affection for her when she was a child. Honestly, if Daemon ever loved Rhaenyra at all it stopped the moment she became her father's heir.

Now before anyone goes saying that I'm delusional and am just saying this because I ship Dattles let me go bring in the text:

Per the highlighted sections, Daemon considered himself his brother's heir because despite Rhaenyra's existence he thought that he should be Viserys heir since he was the closest and only other living male of House Targaryen.

He doted upon his eight-year-old niece because she was no threat to him or his claim to the throne since she was a girl and no woman had or would likely inherit the Iron Throne(see the old king disinheriting Rhaenys and the Great Council of 101).

Dumbnyra stans like to use Daemon doting upon Rhaenyra here as proof that he “loved” her romantically(which is gross as hell because Daemon was a fully grown man and Rhaenyra was very much a child), but we know that even if he did, his affections for her drastically changed the moment she was named Viserys heir:

Upon finding out this news Daemon quits his job out of anger at being passed over in favor of a little girl and leaves the city rather than swear loyalty to her. Not exactly the actions of a loving uncle or lover🙃

So this all happens around 105 AC. Fast forward to 111 AC when Daemon returns to court. Rhaenyra is 14(which is still underage by Westeros standards) to Daemon’s 30. Has he changed in any significant way that shows that he cares for his niece? Nope.

What happens is a matter of debate, but Viserys and Daemon definitely quarreled over something. Two accounts (Eustace and Mushroom) state that Daemon defiles or corrupts Rhaenyra, presumably to force his brother to give her to him in a bid to be closer to the throne(if you can’t wear the crown, be the hand that controls the crown 🤷🏽‍♀️). This plan backfired though probably because he already had a wife and he was banished from court and did not come back for some years later once again(when he was married to Laena).

I'm not going to go into their whole relationship(and it only gets worse because someone potentially killing all the men, one who you are happy with, in your life so that they can marry you again doesn’t seem great), but from their start, the love whether romantic or familial just isn't there.

Based on Daemon's actions, I’m having a hard time believing he cared for Rhaenyra let alone was ever in love with her especially when you consider that he eventually abandons her in her hour of need and compare how he treated Nettles or even Laena to her🙃

Now if someone wants to use the show to say Daemon loved Rhaenyra be my guest, but remember that he is constantly abandoning her(brothel, her wedding, and leaving her on the beach in that crummy tent instead of cuddling with her) and he physically abused her (choking her out not too long after she gave birth to lizard) so 🤷🏽‍♀️

BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING YOU

I don’t know how many of you have read George Orwell's "1984", but it is a story about one mans ultimately pointless struggle against a country governed by propaganda, surveillance and censorship: a country where all citizens must come to love “Big Brother".

Big Brother has his face on every wall, his eyes following your every move, and the phrase “Big Brother is watching you” is plastered on every building.  In the country ruled by Big Brother, people are short of food, social services are crumbling, the population live in poverty, electronic surveillance is everywhere, while those at the top of society live in  luxury. The novel is set in England.

In this dystopian England we have “doublethink", which is the act of holding two contradictory thoughts at the same time and believing both: e.g. Boris Johnson and Partygate. Then there is the Ministry of Truth, which rewrites history to suite Big Brother's agenda: e.g. the Tories constantly saying it was the Labour Party that bankrupt the country in 2008 when it was in fact the greed of bankers. There is also the Thought Police who are charged with arresting people with “thoughtcrime": e.g. the police upholding a vexatious complaint against Stella Creasy that might have led to her children being taken into care simply because the complainant did not agree with her socio-political views.

The hero of the novel, Winston Smith, does his best to resist Big Brother and the corrupt powers of the state but the odds are stacked against him. At the end of the novel he finds himself in Room 101, the room all dissidents are taken to be tortured by their worse fears. In Winston’s case it is dark places inhabited by rats, and when he is threatened by having a cage full of live rats put on his head so they can eat his face he surrenders to his torturers and betrays Julie,  the woman he loves.

But it is not enough for Winston to have surrendered his individuality and those dear to him, for Big Brother demands not only loyalty and obedience: he demands that his subjects love him.

Before Winston is moved to Room 101 he is told:

“You hate him (Big Brother) Good. Then the time has come for you to take the last step. You must love Big Brother. It is not enough to obey him: you must love him”

I realise that it is probably only me who sees parallels between Orwell’s 1984 and present day England but I do find the proposed oath of allegiance to King Charles  - euphemistically, called the   “Homage of the People” - sinisterly worrying. Does the King really expect us to stand up in front of our tv sets and other electronic devices, hands on heart, and pledge our allegiance to him?

“ I swear that I will pay true allegiance to Your Majesty, and to your heirs and successors according to law. So help me God." God Save King Charles. Long Live King Charles. May The King live forever.”

Not quite the expression of love Big Brother would have demanded but pretty close. As for us wanting the king to live "forever", well, that’s just downright bazaar.  Does the king see himself as a god or is he  just a delusional? The sound of a “chorus of millions of voices”, all pledging allegiance to King Charles has more in common with Kim Jong Un’s North Korea than it does democratic Britain.  It also  has a parallel in “1984” wherein the population has to stand in front of their screens and chant the name Big Brother,  Big Brother” over and over again.

In “1984”, Winston’s lover, Julie, tells him:

 "It's the one thing they can't do. They can make you say anything—anything—but they can't make you believe it. They can't get inside you." 

If only that were true.

Hello, it's time for Delusional Tour Thoughts with Anna: Extreme Edition!

I made this post with setlist guesses and I stand by them, mostly, but the countdown they are doing on tiktok is making me question things. Why? Well, the choice of performances and songs they are doing.

To start they used a clip of gotta get out at the Annandale Hotel, from what I can find on the internet they played 3 original songs that day, gotta get out, everything I want, and perfect disguise, but the last 2 stayed unreleased so, they are not an option, and ggo, the last time they played it for an audience was a decade ago almost exactly, since it was July 15 2013, but it makes sense for them to use this particular song since the rest literally never got released and it's their first show.

Then they jumped straight to 2014 and called it 2013 and a show when they were opening for 1D, they chose a random video on youtube but they put don't stop, even though the video they used was the whole concert. The setlist for that was 18, disconnected, hbg, don't stop, amnesia, beside you, good girls, slsp and 2 covers. The covers are obviously gonna be ignored here. They would never play 18 today, imma ignore that one too, and I love good girls but i also don't see that happening but i am betting on amnesia, disconnected and slsp making an appearance, and at first i was thinking they put don't stop as a joke but I am putting a pin on the choice now.

Then they picked the most random video possible for 2014 because they picked a video of them playing slsp outside a radio station as a thank you to everyone that was waiting for them. According to setlist.fm they played 107 concerts in 2014, including multiple that were broadcasted and had decent footage, but up until now, they were using random videos recorded with phones in the crowd but we all know slsp is making an appearance so no surprises here.

Then they used disconnected from the how did we end up here DVD, this is the first one with professionally recorded footage that they own they own, and that one was expected, like they have a DVD from a show that year, it makes sense they would use it and they picked disconnected, which is again a song I think will stay in the setlist, but the setlist from that show is end up here, ooml, hbg, voodoo doll, permanent vacation, don't stop, disconnected, lwh, rejects, hotbs, wayf, amnesia, beside you, eids, kiss me kiss me, slsp, good girls and 2 covers.

For 2016 they did what I was expecting, they used the san franscisco video they released, but that's interesting to me because they never toured san franscisco, all the songs they picked until now were part of at least one tour. The thing about this show, in particular, is that they didn't have a completely fixed setlist for slfl, I think that considering the tour had 101 shows, they mixed it up a bit every once in a while so it wouldn't get boring for them, but this show was one of 2 they played san francisco and one of 3 they played wayf, which is an interesting show to pick all things considered, it was a different experience from the rest of the tour, but the setlist for it was carry on, hey everybody, money, don't stop, disconnected, lwh, wtn, outerspace, vapor, amnesia, castaway, jbh, end up here, good girls, girls talk boys, wayf, permanent vacation, san franscisco, skh, slsp and a cover.

For 2017 they picked the Rock in Rio, which again, was expected, but they chose vapor, and that's an interesting choice considering this was the last time they played vapor, but that they consistently soundcheck vapor. The setlist for this was gtb, hey everybody, disconnected, don't stop, iydk, good girls, wtn, vapor, outerspace, amnesia, castaway, jbh, end up here, skh, slsp and a cover.

2018 gets interesting again, there are a LOT of professionally recorded performances they could've used, going as far as the way they could've used the unreleased footage of the mytt album that we know exists since there are 2 songs on the internet, but they didn't use any of that, they used a random video from a random youtube channel of the only time they played wherever you are (technically 2nd but the 1st one was just Luke and his guitar in 2013, I don't think it counts), the setlist here is the same as the album, but they played wya during Michaels talking break, so it was babylon, talk fast, moving along, skh, wtn, more, better man, if walls could talk, goy, amnesia, the only reason, lie to me, wwylm, wya, valentine, myt, jbh, wyb, slsp and yb.

2019 they used the summertime ball, again an interesting choice since allegedly there's also unreleased footage of a wwj concert and they did like 9 festivals. They picked youngblood, again, we all know yb is on the setlist, but they played slsp, easier, wdyl, amnesia, wyb and yb.

2020, 2021 and 2022 have not made an appearance yet, but 2020 and 2021 are easy to guess at least what show they'll use because there are not a lot of options, in 2020 they played red desert in a random event on Calum's birthday, they played the firefight and they played a small show for tv the morning after the firefight, so I'm guessing they will use something from the firefight, specifically I think they'll use no shame at the firefight, since it was the live debut of it, but they played slsp, easier, no shame, wyb and yb and i personally think all 5 of these have a DECENT chance of ending up in the setlist, the only one I'm in the fence about is wyb. The other possibility here is them coming up with a clip of them playing red desert since it's the other song they played that year.

2021 there are 2 possibilities, the global citizen and the 5sos show. I am betting on ghost of you at the global citizen, but it would make sense for them to use something from the 5sos show since the tour promo matches the show's aesthetic, but they are throwing curveballs here, so the global citizen is my bet. They played slsp, teeth, goy and yb there and the setlist of the 5sos show was slsp, ooml, amnesia, jbh, ggo, yb, goy, teeth, red desert, no shame, 2011 and pizza.

2022 i have no idea really, there are festivals, theres the tmh, the prism shows, the ono, but if i had to place a bet, i would say they will pick a 5sos5 song, but from where? No clue. They could also use the pal norte festival here, who knows. But the average setlist for 2022 includes no shame, easier, more, wyb, disconnected, tmh, red desert, talk fast, beside you, wtn, cm, lover of mine, wdyl, wildflower, best years, bad omens, efyts, iwct, old me, mm&i, blender, amnesia, 2011, castaway, slsp, teeth, jbh, goy and yb. There are also the ono exclusives, carousel, lie to me, caramel, osco and older.

You may be asking yourself: Anna, why did you type all this shit out? I think they are easter egging us. I'm not sure if it's about the song they picked, the show, if it's a combination, but I think they are giving clues about the tour. Does that mean something about the average setlist of all the things I typed out here? Does that mean don't stop will make an appearance? Are they doing a surprise song? I'm not sure, but I am now inclined to believe that the base setlist for the tour is the setlist for the 10 years 5sos show, considering all the songs they played there were songs they toured before and that they are adding shit to it, I legit want to go back to my setlist guesses and slap gotta get out and don't stop there for some reason, because now I think all the songs on the setlist that are not from 5sos5 are in this list. Do I realistically think they are gonna play shit like voodoo doll? No, but the delusion makes me inclined to believe there's a chance.

this is a question i've asked myself with the characterization that i, personally, have created around viserra as she ages & matures—yes in my fic she found a place for herself in the political structure, first in white harbor where she was motivated half by spite & half by genuine interest into setting up a women's court akin to queen alysanne's. viserra in general being more comfortable/empathetic with women is built on her as a teenager who treated men as playthings, as well as some of saera's influence (boys are such silly fools). viserra being raised on praises of her beauty by much older men is where her general mistrust of them comes from, & more importantly it stays with her as she comes into herself.

in king's landing/dragonstone it's once again predation of young women that initially motivates her to get involved as a patron of tradeswomen.

however viserra is still pretty short-tempered, definitely a misandrist lol, not without a certain pride in her status/appearance, and overly indulgent of her nieces/nephews behaving badly as a result of her own parents not indulging her. viserra & baelon's relationship definitely took a long time to grow into a place of mutual understanding and empathy (i think i had her widowed like three years before they got together?), viserra & desmond even longer (six years!)—basically she's frosty. she lacks the friendly & trusting nature of the men she falls in love with, is attracted to them partly because they have what she doesn't.

if baelon is to die then yes viserra could be considered to inherit. do i think jaehaerys would (attempt to) give it to her? no. not really. viserra has grown leaps and bounds yes but jaehaerys gets the brunt of her lingering resentment, of her pride, and he would not find her to be the ideal successor for him & alysanne.

reasonably she could go to the great council to stake her claim. realistically i do not think she'd have too much support; laenor was supported through rhaenys whose claim came from being the eldest of the eldest i.e. absolute primogeniture. viserys was the eldest son of baelon, who became the heir when aemon died thus making baelon the eldest son i.e. male-centric primogeniture. viserra is the tenth-born twice-widowed mother-to-only-one-daughter princess, loved by those who know her yes, but with odd politics of her own & notoriously unwelcoming of suitors.

in my opinion she would not try for the throne either. yes it might hurt deep down to be passed over but viserra would never have even considered becoming queen in her own right at that point & she's extremely heartbroken over baelon (after everything they went through! it would decimate her!) i see it as a rhaena post-maegor's death situation.

personally i like to imagine this scenario: after baelon dies, viserra does ask jaehaerys will it be me now? more to hear the denial than as a genuine question. then she'd pop off north to recover in the company of her closest confidante delena fossoway, the lady of ramsgate. only leaves when lord manderly comes to fetch her because there's to be a great council—which she attends because viserys, rhaenys, daemon, aemma were all so beloved of baelon and having lost him she can at least honor his memory by trying to guide them through this, the way baelon always wished. viserys is confirmed prince of dragonstone but he's happy to let her continue the work she and baelon began on the island. with tensions tight between targaryen cousins, i'd have viserra to act as a bridge of sorts, the natural mediator to help hold together this now fragile royal familial structure. more of a sidenote but i'd also like for this to be whereabouts viserra & jocelyn begin to drift closer—jocelyn already having functioned as an advisor to rhaenys up til now.

ultimately the best, likeliest scenario would be: viserys on the throne, rhaenys as master of laws like prince aemon before her, viserra focused on her growing guildwork with close ties to her niece/nephew & the title of baelon's widow allowing her to have her own pocket of influence at court. viserrabaelon's daughter along with princess rhaenyra, lady laena, & little lord laenor being a new generation of bb's raised in closer quarters than they were in canon with rhaenys in king's landing. etc etc i have more of it mentally planned out, but that's the starting point.

i would have loved queen viserra personally! *making my dolls kiss* viserra & baelon with each other! together! however i enjoy shadow advisor!viserra even more, a nice sexy niche for her to do work she's personally passionate about instead of what she'd dread (treating with lords she looks down upon, who also look down upon her, having no sons so succession would be another case, having to take another husband at some point... nah not happening. not on my watch)

[read] extraordinaries

gosh it's been a long time since i put my random commentaries afetr i read a book. i read a lot but i haven't been putting it in words like these. i think it's a nice way to take a breather and appreciate the story for a bit. though i'm itching to read and jump to another one. alright. let's jump in.

the extraordinaries by t.j. klune is the second book i read of his! the first being the house by the cerulean sea. and i wept for that one. it's achingly sweet. and cute. and also hits hard a bit. i should reread it soon. now this one... this one features the main cast being highschoolers. and damn i didn't know I NEED IT SO BAD... LOOK... a lot of romances i read before features teenagers that acts way too mature and also quite high in steam (aka they can't keep it in their pants for 5 minutes) and i. it's not that it's bad. it's just... you know after a while of reading several books, i kind of tend to notice the pattern of like, the tropes, and like, the prose, and um. basically at some point it loses it charms and i ended up groaning, "not again..." or "i felt like i have read this storyline 32 times this month..." NOT THAT IT'S BAD OF COURSE... i eat it when i'm hungry. when i'm full i just need to take a breathe.

and man. NICK...!!! having the book centered around nick is so, so, good. a peek to his ever-flowing racing mind and how he's just, being him, as a whole. and this guy is a... a fanfic writer. and the love interest being his beta reader... I DON'T KNOW WHY THIS CRACKS ME UP... the dynamics is so good though i felt like they can feel a bit one-dimensional sometimes. i don't know why i'm criticizing. i don't know shit about stories 101 lmao. alright. nick is also very straightforward and cannot lie for good. the way he rambles about everything is adorable (i see u seth...) he puts his mind to it and pushes through everything. i love my delusional son akjsdgashda

and this one i have sorta expects from the author. it's how heartfelt the story can be at times. t.j. klune is poignant with his words. the story touches grief very delicately, how it impacts the whole family and their relations to another. there's this one part where nick have hard time breathing the moment his dad said he's gonna take his phone. his dad grounds him, distanced him from his friends, cutting of internet and all other things. but the one thing that was about to break him is the fact that he would have his phone taken away, due to the thoughts that if something happened (to his dad), then he wouldn't know. like how it happened with his mom. AND... :-( ... that's why it also hurts so bad when the two get caught arguing and his dad ended up telling nick why he is the way that he is.. :"""" I'M SO WEAK WITH FAMILY STORYLINES... they're always the one that made me teared up...

one thing i did not like is the blue-balling of important revelations that's like kinda obvious but they kept pushing it back. "oh, nick, don't you know? he's actually..." and suddenly the door opens. [plot ignored for several pages]. "i can't keep it anymore. i'm gonna tell you. actually..." and then suddenly a bomb exploded or something. LIKE... the fact that i'm writing it down means i'm annoyed by it lol since i don't actually notice these stuff usually. also i think the book kind of drags down by the end. i don't really hooked enough for shadow stars storyline. maybe another thing i didn't like is that it have real person shipping... though it's mentioned and implied a lot of how unhealthy that is lol, i can chalk it up to nick being a delulu y/n fanfic author.

it's been a while since i consumed any superhero-related media. i used to be into marvel movies but then they kinda... i don't know. lame. i watched ms. marvel and i liked it. i tried to watch she-hulk but i forgot it exists by the time episode 4? happened and i haven't finished it since. i also despised secret invasion's intro enough to never watch it. ever. i need to watch spiderverse....

why am i getting distracted. OKAY... the thing is. i loved the book. i enjoyed reading the book. i took my time reading it, and the character still lives in my head for now. and because this is a superhero-setting... i ignored any normal haircolor depiction in my head and instead put wacky colorful hairtones for every character anime style. nick? shiny silver (with a stupid ahoge). owen? fiery red (subversion, this is so good). gibby? deep purple. jazz? pink and yellow ombre. seth... black.., because subversion, uh... (he gets his colors from his ties and knots instead)

uh... what i want to say is it's lighthearted! it can be sweet and poignant at times. it's an enjoyable read. mr. t.j.klune good :) i'll put more thoughts if i remember

America was heading to the EU building’s breakroom. They always had better snacks in the vending machine so he always went there for lunch. As he was putting money into the machine he heard the faint arguing of Germany and Japan who was slowly getting louder as they got closer.

“No! You’re wrong! You’re literally misremembering the scene!” Germany said.

“No! You just have the worst media literacy ever!” Japan argued.

“You’re talking to me about media literacy??? Have you looked in a mirror????” Germany exclaimed, appalled.

America knew exactly what they were discussing. It was a murder mystery drama called ‘The horrors at Manor Du-k’all’ it was about a bunch of aristocrats who get invited and eventually stuck in a old abandoned mansion that belonged to the host’s uncle. The host dies in the mansion and the show is about, well, who killed him. Every weekend the two would visit eachother to watch the newly aired episode. The finale was tomorrow where they’d reveal who the murderer really is. America had binged watched the show recently so it was still fresh in his mind. It was clear the two had…Differing opinions about who the real murderer really was.

“It’s Barry! I know it, the characters know it we all know it! If you actually PAID ATTENTION to the scene he’s clearing faking his reaction to Juliet’s backstory so he can get on her good side! It’s obvious!” Germany said, they both were in the break room at this point.

“He’s just bad at expressing his emotions! I don’t call you a murderer for your reactions! I’m telling you it’s Maria! She had every reason to kill the Host! Especially after he literally cheated on her!” Japan argued.

“That’s what they want you to think! It’s clearly bait! Barry had good reason too! The Host literally threatened to put his father onto the streets if he fell out of line!” Germany retorted. He then saw America. Germany called out his name.

Oh great, he’s gonna be dragged into this. “What’s up ya twinks?” He asked. “We need you too—wait did you just call us twinks—?” Germany was interrupted by Japan. “Forget that! We need you to settle this!” He began. “You’ve seen ‘The horrors at Manor Du-k’all’ right?”

“Yup! Binged it a few nights ago!” America replied. “Great! Can you PLEASE tell Germany he’s being fucking delusional!” Japan exclaimed, crossing his arms. “What! No! You tell Japan he’s a fucking idiot!” Germany argued.

Their arguing continued until Portugal and England walked through the door. “Holy fucking shit, what are you guys screaming about?! You’re so loud!” Portugal said aggravated. “They’re talking about that show I showed you!” England told her. “Oh that? That show was stupid! It was obvious the killer was Barry!” She said.

“HA I FUCKING TOLD YOU SO!” Germany said excitedly.

“What??? No! The killer is clearly Maria!” England retorted.

“HAH FUCK YOU GERMANY!” Japan said in a triumphant glee.

“Okay! Okay! Before we all start arguing again…” America paused. “Japan when’s the last episode?” He asked. “Tomorrow night!” He replied.

“Alright, Germany’s house is the closest so we’ll all go there and watch the episode. Then you’ll see I was right!” America explained. “Pfft please! I can’t wait too see your face when you see I was right.” Germany said.

Today was the day of the finale! Everyone was at Germany’s house. Plus an extra guest. “UK? What are you doing here?” Germany asked. “I’m bored and I wanna see you all scream at each other about a mediocre tv show.” He said. “Plus I wanna see the ending.”

They all sat on the couch. And turned on the tv.

“I have finally figured out who the culprit behind our host’s murder! The killer is….”

“Me!” A voice called out. The ground started to shake, the paintings were falling off the walls. All but one, a painting of the Host’s uncle. Something started to come out of it, slowly at first, then was springing and jolting to get out of the painting. It was Du-k’all! Well his spirit at least! “Y-You killed the Host!” Cried Barry. “That bastard deserved it after he murdered me! His own uncle!“ The guests tried to calm the spirit down. “Burn this place, straight to ashes.” It said. “Only then will I be at peace.” The last scene of the show was the rest of the cast stumbling out of the building as it went ablaze.

Everyone was staring at the tv in shock. Not even being able to say anything. “Are you SERIOUS?? That was the ending???” Germany finally said in frustration. “That’s was fucking bullshit! A complete cop-out!” Japan added. “That doesn’t even make any fucking sense! It never said shit about the supernatural before this!” Added America.

The UK chuckled. “What are you laughing at?” Portugal asked. “Your petty arguing is amusing. I saw that ending a mile away, the show-runners knew that pinning the crime on any guest would result in someone getting pissy, so they did this, plus a twist gets ratings.” He explained.

“I guess I’m just smarter than you all, since none of you figured it out.” He said with a shit-eating grin. Everyone was silent for a moment before England said, “All in favor of kicking the UK out in the rain and review bombing the show’s website?”

“Yeah.”

“I can get behind that.”

“Fuck yeah!!!”

“Shit—” The UK said as he stood in the pouring rain. “I actually thought the ending was good—“ He shrugged. Walking home. Don’t mess with countries and their tv shows he supposed.

01/15/2023 - a list of reasons that jack and carolinas relationship absolutely does not work

-they arent friends.

-they never just sit and have a conversation. its always either sex or silence with them. theyre either laying on each other asleep or fucking, they dont bond and they never have

-they dont know each other (she has a list of everything about him that she should know after just spending a little bit of time with him, and she has to ask me for help picking out his gifts bc i (by her own admittance) know him better than her)

-the gifts that they get each other are so telling of how little they know/care about each other. he gets her stuffed animals and jewelry that he has to be told she would like by her "friends". she gets him copies of stuff ive already bought him/us so its already been test ran (chains, rings, shoes). they clearly dont know each others likes and dislikes which is like relationship 101

-they never solve their issues, they either ignore them until they go away or they fuck it out and then ignore them until they go away, and they both fully acknowledge that this is something that they do but they dont ever try to fix it

-shes an idiot, and hes very much not an idiot, so they cant relate to each other on anything. she literally almost didnt graduate bc she failed math so many times and hes going to school to study theoretical physics. and he refuses to acknowledge how dumb she is past a joke so they can never have a real conversation about anything of interest, especially anything hes interested in, and its all superficial nonsense

-her family refuses to include him properly (they wont speak english around him), and she refuses to speak up about this so he never wants to do anything involving her family. he complains about it endlessly but doesnt have enough self respect to tell her to straighten them out

-shes delusional and clearly thinks that theyre gonna get married even though theyre a shit couple and literally everyone thinks so, but he clearly thinks that shes just having fun when she says that shit so theyre not at all on the same page relationship wise

(eg. telling maddie how much prom tickets cost after i said over and over again not to and when i told her that that wasnt cute she just smiled and pretended that she hadnt heard me (and when i looked at jack and said "i hate your girlfriend" he said "me too" so.. that seems not great for them)) -

-she does those stupid fucking "death glare" eyes that she thinks are intimidating-even though she just looks like a moron when she does it-towards any girl woman that looks in the general direction of jack despite the fact that they very much do not want him. like.. she clearly does not do well with the fucking "oPeN reLaTiONsHiP" and just lies to him about liking it bc she wants to keep him but hes too stupid to realize that hes being lied to and hes too stupid to realize that hes too stupid to realize that hes being lied to so he wont listen to people that tell him whats actually going on.

-i have never, not even one time, seen him have some sort of relationship with someone other than carolina that didnt end in a fight between the two of them. she always throws a fit about how hes leaving her and shes not enough for him and hes forced to feel guilty about something that is fundamentally okay within the bounds of their relationship and has to comfort her about it even though he did nothing wrong. thats classic psychological abuse but he doesnt care bc he refuses to even consider that carolinas not happy because that would mean that hes doing something wrong and god knows thats just impossible

-they dont acknowledge or respect each others boundaries. he doesnt acknowledge her dislike of the relationship dynamic and therefore cannot respect it. she kept roping people (meghan and company) into his life again and continued to do so after he explicitly told her that he was uncomfortable with it and that he didnt want to be around her. they keep forcing each other into horrible situations because they cannot grasp that their boundaries are not compatible with each other

It’s Savage In America; The Great Oppression

Our America is going to shit. This is not “The Great Depression” or “The Great Recession”....it is worse - this is “The Great Oppression”. There is more than one catalyst....these are just to name a few. America is an extremely dirty bottle and many are in the bottle and can not see from the outside; how bad, dirty and unhealthy this bottle is. 1. Between the mental health crisis & epidemic. The crisis is at an all time American high ever in history. People say, “Well, it’s always been here”. No that is not true; especially when research is linking what is going on in society today with social media and every other factor and catalyst that is occurring in America. Big Pharma is racking in profits - not actually coming to solutions to solve the mental health crisis. All they care about is how to get people hooked on pills for profit.

What this era of Oppression is doing is causing massive Neurological Stress in the brain where the brain can not function as normal due to so many factors in catalysts occurring simultaneously and at such a speed that the brain much like a computer; when it becomes overloaded; it slows down leading to mental health issues.

2. Financial Enslavement & limited money.....The experts are calling it “A Seller’s Market” - this is untrue...A Seller’s market has buyers...The buyers have no money to afford the “seller’s market”...homes are over priced, we have hyperinflation...Just take an excel sheet and tell me what two negatives equal....it equals more negatives....this isn’t magnetics where two negatives equal a positive; this is math where two negatives equal more losses / negatives....

”The Sellers Market” who can’t sell take a loss; while “The Buyers” are taking losses due to hyperinflation and can not afford “The Seller’s Market”.

Here are the statistics of Americans and what they have in their Savings Account:

32% of Americans have $100 or less

12% of Americans have $101 -$500

That is 44% of Americans who have $500 or less in their accounts. That is nearly half of America. And “The Experts” are calling this a “Seller’s Market” - completely delusional and untrue.

3. The media & social media not being held accountable for manipulation of people's minds / actions and the mental health issues it is causing....woke is being re-defined by the media for social, political & regression of "new" societal norms to be accepted and I blame the media as they have ZERO accountability. 

Being woke is supposed to be defined as spiritual, moral & ethical truth.

4. In the workforce; incompetent management literally owning the employees & running out whoever they see as a threat to their job....We need to make results matter again.

5. Colleges racking in college debt, while they have no accountability for Job Placement after graduation - if they don't help everyone get a job, they should be held accountable and eat the debt of each individual...this would eliminate the political nature in college.

6. What is coming with A.I.

If we have one Hitler in the world get a hold of the upcoming A.I. - it's over

A.I. will in the next 10 years will be replacing many jobs...the creative sector will be gone first (Music, Art, Acting etc...Disney is already using A.I. for voice overs) 

There will be SOOOO MANY law cases of who owns the copyright; the government will not be able to keep up.

THERE WILL HAVE TO BE LEGISLATION BY THE GOVERNMENT THAT NO PROFITS CAN BE MADE BY A.I. IN THE CREATIVE SECTOR.

Elon Musk has been warning the world and the governments for over 1 year straight of the catalysts and what is coming.

Just think if all Americans could come together and work as a team. We'd live in a very prosperous nation. Hunting like Lions; when Lions hunt - they all eat. When Hyenas hunt - after the kill; they fight over who eats....unlike lions.... And that is the savage America we currently live in. This America would never win WWII - People would be fighting on the boats to storm Normandy & they'd all be dead by shooting each other before we even get to the beach. It's Savage in America.
