Funny story. My girls have been encourage me to go out. Stuck in the mud about idkw- it's just me, myself and I 🫣 So I've planned a few me time activities. 🍺🦞🎶 I walked in and it was packed, but with groups of people who knew each other. Seats but not without interrupting their vibes. I don't like the spotlight on me. I'm a social person but lol yeah. I'm weird... I almost left twice, 😆 well I did leave once, but came back. I decided to stay and I was trying to figure out what I wanted- just then this chick pops up, bumps me with her hip and starts chatting about what I'm going to get. I'm not a beer drinker. I have been wanting to try the home crafted brews they have here. Anywho, I decided on a peach sour brew. She got her drink, walked to her table of friends and said put it on my tab. I said no, but she insisted. So that was kinda neat. I stayed for a bit. The musician was pretty good. Got to chat with beautiful people. The atmosphere was nice. Received a few flirtation glares 😆😉 Fun times, I'm glad I stayed.

Hinata and Gaara are always having online fandom discourse irl(their likes are similar and they agree on almost everything).

Hanabi and Kankurou make the greatest prankster duo. Kankurou brings up the best ideas on how to annoy his siblings and Hanabi plans how to execute them.

Temari attempts to get rid all of Hinata's jackets but gets tired because there are SO MANY.

Hanabi: "I've tried. It's almost like each jacket is able to reproduce"

Everyone loves pranking Neji, including Temari. There's just something so satisfying about him telling you to die, and complaining about how no one takes him seriously.

NO BECAUSS HINATA AND GAARA WOULD BE SO FUNNY IF THEY GOT TO INTERACT MORE. I think they could have a really sweet friendship (or romantic relationships, if you're into them), but they also could be really weird enemies in a modern au. I think they'd have disputes about fandoms like MLP (never watched it but it seems like something they'd like idkw) and fighting over Naruto.

Neji and Temari would be bitchy older siblings together who gossip about their younger siblings, but are like, "oh we're just looking out for them ☺️" Definitely the type of older siblings to embarrass their younger ones in front of their crush.

Hanabi and Kankuro have menace little siblings vibes. I know they're so annoying and picky with everything.

Temari would try to help Hinata with her confidence and just be amazed at how much of a work in progress she needs. Oh, and I know she'd go crazy trying to help Hinata come up with a new wardrobe if she was ever in Suna.

Them bullying Neji would warm my heart 🫶 Hinata would probably not participate but would definitely giggle about it while apologizing, and Gaara only doesn't help because he's like. Emotionally stunted and whatnot.

So I cover my face with a thin sheet when I'm trying to sleep to block out the light in the room. The house I live in is near a battleground and the house is quite literally on one of the paths the soldiers took to get to said battleground.

I've seen whispy soliders come and go in my bedroom so often it's not funny. I've seen multiple cryptids outside, especially not-dear, cause I'm in Appalachia. I'm very spiritually and naturally connected and my intuition is spot on. I've spoken to weather spirits and have had so many experiences with seeing things it ain't even funny. I've had so many paranormal experiences that I'd have to gaslight myself to the extreme to convince myself that I haven't seen anything. I can litterally pick out gacha style stuff and tell which one my gf would want based on what we can't see inside and what I'd want and be spot on each time.

Anyway the point of this post was that I was laying in bed, blocking out the light because I was tired and wanted to sleep and extra hour or so. However when I put the blanket over my face, I could still see the light pretty clearly. As I was kinda looking because the blanket wasn't flush, I saw a hand go from side to side slowly Infront of my face, blocking out the light. Then did it quickly to emphasize. A ghost just fucking checked if I could see it through my blanket 😭😭😭 there is literally no way it was anything else. My cats would have to do some crazy air manuvers and nothing is in between that I could of mistaken and if it was the other person in the house right now, I would of heard him open a door and come in. That door isn't quiet. It would of had to be right up on my face, like less than 4 inches, to make that distinct of a movement to the darkness the hand was through the blanket.

Like idkw but there's a big difference to me between like hearing something in the woods mimic wind chimes excitedly, seeing the face of something looking up at me from downstairs then quickly backing away in fear or seeing a whispy solider not acknowledge me, all with no tension or evil feeling behind it, often quite the opposite and something doing something very intentional and not 5 minutes after I did and feeling no negative energy in the room before, during or after. In fact, no energy at all. That was so fucking eerie. It was such a sign of intelligence, it knew that when I put the blanket over my face, I was going to sleep and therefore couldn't see it because I do that almost every time I go to sleep. I suppose because it just watch me put the blanket over my face, it didn't know for sure so it checked. It was recognition of one of my patterns and doing something intelligent to check if I was following the patterns.

It didn't feel evil or with bad intentions but wow, it was so surprising.

now to address your grievances. if you don't like grain, well i do. simple as that. when it comes to me ruining the video? i guess?... sure, serving its intended purpose: to be youtube content, the video gets the job done well enough but you obviously have no concept of what constitutes nice source material for gifs — which is fine — but don't get on your high horses with me as if you know better. by all means, if you could do a better job than me: be my guest, i'd be the first to reblog it

the video was shot dimly lit, it's underexposed, they filter the hell out of his skin which kills the resolution, not to mention youtube's horrendous compression. the original video itself is washed out. this is a raw screengrab as it appears in ps after encoding:

it's not the coloring job i'm most proud of, far from that. actually in the tags of my post i clearly stated that i was unsatisfied with the quality of these myself so. not teaching me anything new here. but ok, too grainy, too dull, too grey, perhaps something like this would be more to your taste:

i am well aware that this kind of coloring is way more attractive than the one i settled on and that, chances are, my post would've gotten more engagement had i chosen this coloring for my post but i've let go of that mentality long ago

everyone approaches giffing differently and with different intentions. i'm personally not someone with a road map, i just go with the flow of whatever i feel like doing that day, my general ethos is to flatter the source material and/or its subject as much as possible, but i also like to experiment and try different things. to me, this coloring hereinabove strays too far from the original palette which makes the colors too unnatural and adds to the already considerable amount of artifact even with minimal sharpening. it's also very generic looking

it's funny to me that you picked that muddy puddle analogy, in an effort to upset me i presume, but I like that image actually. wasn't that the concept of the video to begin with? kyoong radio to cheer you up on a bleak, rainy day? i think that's why they made the artistic choice of filming in soft lighting, and going with the under-saturated, low contrast, "washed out" look. or at least, that's my interpretation of it. so even if it's not to your preference, i think i somewhat hit the mark with what i was originally trying to do

i personally don't think my gifs look too grey. i'm most disappointed that i couldn't recover more of baekhyun's skintone in the gifs that i posted, trust me i am, but i tried smth a little experimental and i'm still happy with how they came out, they remind me of old camcorder footage. i know that it is among my worst performing sets but like i said idc, i like them
