Well, my charger on my laptop is officially not working. I’m currently using my ipad which will hopefully help a little bit with typing but I am officially stuck on mobile until I can replace my charger. Oh and my ipad keyboard is also on its way out so certain keys don’t work without fighting them. Like K and G and M and V, which you never realize how much you use until they aren’t working.

I’m reblogging this to my poll blogs, so if you’re following one of those, current status is that the polls are on hold until I can replace my charger. This won’t have much effect on the Discworld bracket since that one is open till the 25th, but for the crossover ship bracket we’re going to stall out for awhile. I can still work on pairing everything into the brackets but that’s the extent of what I can do until I can get back on my laptop. Sorry.

Oh and I just realized my ipad has a crack in it too. That’s fun 🙃

I will be able to replace my cord in a couple weeks but I already had to borrow from my rent money to get groceries this week so next check is going to be tight since I need to put that back, so there’s no question of replacing it. If you would like me to get off of mobile sooner, my paypal is linked in my pinned post. Any help you can give me will be appreciated; I have only been typing on my ipad for about ten minutes and already I want to throw something.

it would have wrapped up the 'endings' of the forgotten, cleared up what had just happened and ending on the eliatrope temple/goddess would have been one hell of a clifhanger

Omg I actually enjoyed this episode quite a bit!!!

#It wasn't... Particularly extraordinary but it still felt almost meeting the season 4 standard #Things are still going super super fast 😭😭 #Like it may be that I'm just... Slow to process info but I seriously feel like I can't keep up with what they say #I can't believe at this point they've basically caught up with the manga 😭😭 #In the next ep they'll reach the moment when *I* caught up with the manga when I read bsd for the first time which is just insane to me. #Like my brain can't conceive it #It's such a shame to think that means we aren't getting another bsd anime season for another five years... My heart cries #Even more since at this point it's probably going to stop right before sskk meet again and it's going to be so frustrating for me #But the Aya / Bram scenes were so cute!!! In them I felt like the pace was actually okay for the first time since forever. #It may be that they weren't very information packed so they kind of flew smoothly but I thought the pace was enjoyable– #and the animation too was pretty good!!! #There's always a black shadow wrapping my heart tight whenever I notice the animation gets better– #because I can't help but mourn what the sskk fight could have been and can't stop the resentment... #But in the end I'm happy if the budget goes to a little girl that's what she deserves :') #In the next episode we're probably going to get a little Atsushi screentime too!!!! #Man I'm so starved for Atsushi screentime every time he appears on screen for 0.06 seconds there's a whole crowd cheering in my head #random rambles

i see people talking about the poor artistic choices on the netflix witcher show, mainly with questionable costume design and casting choices, but i don’t see anyone talking about how much of a “fuck you” to the whole cosplay community it is.

like, you would think that people who do costume design and creation for a job, with an actual budget, would be better at it than cosplayers armed only with hot glue guns, eva foam and hope.

so i can’t help but take it very personally when i pour my heart and soul into screen accurate cosplays or making a rennaissance inspired doublet for my yen just to see netflix throw some h&m cardigans onto the actors and call it a day.

I was trying to be more sustainable and also save a bit of money by dyeing a dress I wore once in a wedding last year and then having it altered by a friend's mom to wear for graduation... I burned it in the dyeing process... graduation is Saturday...I have to find a dress between now and Saturday. Help.
