Do you ever think about how horrible of a title "Batman's Greatest Failure" is? How degrading and dehumanising? Everything you achieved in life is forgotten and reduced to the way it ended.

You aren't a person. You are a failure. Your whole life is pushed aside and made a part of someone else's life story. You never mattered, if it weren't for that person you would have meant nothing at all.

Aren't you glad? Aren't you glad you are remembered as something? Even if that something is just saying your whole existence equals just to a mistake in someone's life? An old page that everyone is so desperate to forget. A lapse in judgement. A regret. The people you saved, the people you loved, what you did in life, none of that matters. All that matters is how another person was affected by your death. That is all you will ever be. Everything you did and didn't do will always be irrevocably tied to that person, for better or worse.

You are unable to exist without that person and the only way for you to exist is through his perception of you. The only way for others to see you is to look at you through his biased interpretations of who you were.

You weren't a child or a hero or a martyr or a son or a victim. All you ever were, and will be, is someone's "Greatest Failure".

I know the brothers are like too crazy for normal people to comprehend since duh they’re demons but like I think the things MC would do for the brothers, as much as they would also do for MC, is also pretty crazy (obv why it’s a fictional game) but let’s just lay it out real quick: (uhm spoilers as well)

Try getting a sheep human who would be so stupid to jump in front of death just to protect you (and your chihuahua) even if they were helpless at the time

Try getting a human who would still love you even after you… literally unalived them… or attempts, in many other’s cases

Try getting a human who would stab themselves instead of sacrificing you because they believe you and your family should be able to live together so they’d be the ones better off dead

Try getting a human who would literally give up their life essence in order to help their loved one’s life who’s been shortened- even if they have much shorter life compared to theirs

Try getting a human who would curse themselves to the verge of death just because they understand you don’t trust them to at least prove themselves they only wish you and your family happiness

Edit: Don’t forget the insane amount of work every time one of the brothers brothers went out of control during S2, like they went deep under water for Levi which could have resulted badly with one wrong move (water pressure idk how they survived), and lowest circle of hell to get Lucifer which was even more risking and dangerous.

(warning this is satire please don’t try getting a physiologically ill sheep to be your lover- only the brothers and dateables who are also unhinged in their own ways handle them)

Like it isn’t even cute it’s concerning what this sheep is capable of or how fearless they are. Combine that with S3+ mc who’s become a silly dilly sorcerer and then they became unstoppable.

so much here. a little secret; offering what the doctor never did. as he did in spyfall. as i bet he did during that long night that yaz didnt sleep after she didnt-die. as he did on the plane when he offered her answers. the doctor never did.

ingested the cyberium; most context yaz has is probably shelley? i dont think she saw the master on gallifrey. she didnt know (in the episode bc i do like the script version where she figures it out) that the master would be here when she started today. all she knows of the cyberium is what the doctor said about it in villa diodati or what the master says about it now + context clues. villa diodati for her i think is more than 5 years ago. i doubt she remembers anything concrete about what the doctor might have said about it there. i dont doubt she remembers shelley and the halfcyberman and the fate of humanity and the death and the pressure and the doctor for the first time saying out loud that yes im pulling away yes i keep my distance yes i wont let you close yes you know nothing about me yes it's on purpose yes people die yes theres blood on my hands yes i'll choose you over all of humanity yes
