The mortician’s task was over after the corpse had been embalmed, dressed, looked after. But not Undertaker, who had deep connections with the Phantomhives. He knew how the shadowy activities operate in the criminal world of East End, in which the family lorded over. He must keep vigil for his peace of mind. When he decided to take the helm of a funeral director years ago, it was not only on paper, he embodied it perfectly well. A mortician, who was a mortal, either believed that the corpse in front of the gurney was a rotting meat, a mere flesh, or the body was holy, an inner sanctum, where the soul was stored. It was the reason it had to be washed, kept clean, perfumed. There were some truths in those statements somehow. But Undertaker believed in neither. As soon as the soul had left the body, their memories remained. Their so-called cinematic records were preserved. Their lives might have ended but the possibility of a sequel was not too far off. The question was how to utilize it in the near future. Humans also wasted blood by letting it run the drain, down the sewers toward the river nearby. Undertaker was different. He found the way to reuse it by keeping it in his custom-made cellar, cold and icy, ready to be used again. Blood is the life! For the funeral procession itself, he hired two mutes for the designated time and place of the interment. One of them was an owner of a pub, who could change from one grieving bystander to a neutral-faced professional waiting staff. Usually, the mute owned a pub that also catered to the bereaved families and friends who wanted to gather complete with degustation and collective remembrance for the dead. Undertaker didn’t need to pretend. In truth, he had been grieving for the Phantomhives for as long as he could remember.

I know there's a lot of answers out there for this question, but personally like what do you think are the best beatle books to read? Like what's the best for you?
hello anon! I'm hyperfixated so I'll read pretty much anything on them tbh. I do like to read the more anecdotal stuff because I love gossip lol - and some of them can be so revealing (both of the Beatles themselves and the authors). But I'll read and have enjoyed lots of stuff: the big biogs, memoirs, fan accounts, academic studies, that novel by Paul's ex publicist.
anyway, here's the list of Beatles books I've read all the way through and what rating out of 5 I'd give them. The books I've rated highest have generally been the big biographies just because I think they tend to say more and tell a fuller story, since obvs that's their purpose, so they're a more satisfying read. My ratings are based on a random combo of what they can tell us about the Beatles, how interesting I find them historiographically/as Beatles reception, and how much I enjoyed reading them.

Happy one year anniversary.
I’m still mad that Mark specifically wrote ISWM in a way that would bait us into thinking Engineer was Actor but then saying in his livestream that he isn’t. Besides this one statement, there isn’t anything to support this. If take the series at face value, without taking Mark’s remark into consideration, there is so much evidence pointing to them being the same character.
If he had written Part 1 to lead us on but then in Part 2 he gradually peppered in hints and a reveal that they were in fact separate characters, I wouldn’t be upset at all. I would consider that clever storytelling while playing with the audience’s expectations. I would think, “Wow, he really had us there, but what a twist!”
Instead we got a comment on an explanation stream that turned everything on its head.
However!
Here’s why Mark saying Engineer isn’t Actor doesn’t matter.
What Mark says in explanation streams can explain his vision and intention for his stories, but it can’t be considered canon. What he’s saying is “Word of God,” meaning that it’s something that he meant to be true but never made it into the final product. He can say something like wanting Actor to die from him and and Wilford playing Russian Roulette in the wine cellar, but until it shows up WAIA it isn’t actually canon.
He specifically said during his WKM explanation stream, “If it’s not in the story right here then anything else could be anything. What exists is what’s on the screen.”
That being said, here’s all the reasons why Engineer is Actor:
In his 10 Years of Markiplier ISWM explanation stream he said, “Engineer Mark is not Actor Mark, but Actor Mark might just be Engineer Mark.”
So what does this mean?
It means that just like Noir and Murdock, Actor is Engineer from another universe that the wormhole accesses. If you’re familiar with the Loki show, Actor is a variant.
“Who Killed Markiplier” takes place in one of the many universes that Captain gets sucked into while they’re traveling through the wormhole. That’s why ADWM and AHWM are from the viewer’s perspective. It’s the perspective of Captain seeing different variants of themself, Engineer, and the rest of the crew live out different lives.  
The problem is that that particular universe just so happens to be the home of a sentient, inter-dimensional house that behaves similarly to the warp core crystal.
This means that there are two paradoxes that converge: One stemming from the warp core crystal, and the other from the house.

Paradox 1: Time Loops:
Engineer finds a warp core he knows nothing about but still integrates into The Invincible II anyway.
A bunch of systems malfunction and the warp core goes offline before disappearing into a wormhole, attempting to resolve an unknown paradox. After repairing the systems, Engineer gets the idea for him and Captain to jump in to find the warp core and bring it back to close the wormhole.
This is not very successful.
What they do succeed in doing is dying a lot and get split up so they’re spat out in different universes at different times. At one point, Captain winds up in a weird, dimly lit version of the warp core room where it entrusts them with its crystal so they can resolve the paradox. Throughout their involuntary space-time jumps, they encounter many different variants of Engineer, including Actor wanting to go on a second date wearing the same suit from ADWM, him in his green room stating his parole is almost up wearing his red robe from WKM (a direct follow-up to Actor saying he only has five years of parole left in one ending of Date), and a noir detective who wants to ask them out on a date.
There are two certainties in the multiverse: Wilford Warfstache and a Mark variant wanting to date a Captain variant.
Engineer and Captain repeatedly encounter Agent Alu Minium from the Universal Stability Agency who accuses Captain of being deliberately responsible for mulitversal devastation. They eventually explain that the two aren’t in a time loop and resetting the ship each time; Captain is actually killing off each universe they go through whenever they make destructive decisions.
“The multiverse is littered with the corpses of your failures.”
After so many trips through the wormhole and attempts to fix things resulting in the ship getting destroyed, Engineer becomes distrustful of Captain and begins to believe Alu’s accusations. He decides to hole himself up in the warp core room and “rebuild” the warp core from scratch so he can use it to go back in time and stop Captain from destroying everything. Captain eventually appears in the warp core room, Engineer takes their crystal to power the warp core, and convinces them to let him go through the new wormhole back to the past.
Once back in the past, Engineer sneaks onto The Invincible II so he can sabotage the warp core, support systems, and Captain’s cryo-pod to try and prevent them from destroying the multiverse.
This backfires and causes a time loop. After another lifetime of universe hopping, Engineer sends himself, Captain, the warp core, and accidentally Alu to the void as a last-ditch effort to save the multiverse. The warp core initiates a universal reset so it can have another chance to resolve the paradox, starting another set of time loops. In every time loop but one, Captain lets Engineer go back to the past. In the last loop however, they instead decide to take the crystal from the warp core and throw it into the wormhole, finally resolving the paradox.
Engineer realizes that without him going back to the past, the warp core won’t be there to power the ship and he won’t be there to sabotage it and the systems so nothing malfunctions and the wormhole functions as intended. The multiverse explodes and is reset one final time with him and Captain making amends when faced with their new home planet.
Paradox Resolved.

Paradox 2:
Actor and Wiford grow up in a house that can control space, time, and reality. After years of being exposed to this phenomenon, the two have absorbed and honed these abilities.
Wilford can teleport throughout the house by traversing the Upside-Down (the in-between dimension that looks grey and has floating dark particles everywhere). He also teleports onto the Invincible II, and can control time and wormholes. He can also traverse and bleed through the void dimension in the house as shown by him appearing in Abe’s noir pocket reality and Damien being able to hear his conversation with Abe from Celine’s. He has a pocket reality of his own that serves as his interview studio.
Actor gains immortality (or at least the ability to possess his own corpse), traps Damien and Celine in the void without a way back to their own bodies, possesses Damien’s body, is able to enter Celine’s pocket reality she is keeping Damien safe in, and utilizes the house’s reality-shifting properties to write stories where he is the hero and the District Attorney trapped in the mirror plays his oblivious sidekick.
Actor writes “A Heist with Markiplier” where he and Heist Partner steal a box containing a warp crystal from a museum. Immediately upon removing the box from its pedestal, reality around that spot glitches into red, blue, and green, indicating the triggering of an anomaly. Merely being in possession of this crystal causes a whole bunch of universe jumps where Actor and Heist Partner get into many strange scenarios and meet some weird people, most importantly Professor Beauregard. She identifies the crystal (well, the crystal’s box) as the instigator of the anomaly causing all the multiversal destabilization.
The crystal not only transports Actor and Heist Partner through alternate universes as shown by the different choice paths and Yancy’s tattoos, but it also controls time. Opening it in Ending 16 (The Interview) sends Heist Partner all the way back to “The Fall of Slenderman,” Wilford’s first appearance on Mark’s channel, before he closes it and starts interviewing Heist Partner. Opening it during Ending 6 (The End) rewinds everything back to the beginning of AHWM, where Actor decides to forgo the heist and asks Heist Partner out on a date, directly leading into his next story, “A Date with Markiplier.”
Anomaly Resolved.

How the Paradoxes Interact:
Remember when I said the house can manipulate space, time, and reality?
WKM, WMLW, DAMIEN, ADWM, AHWM, and parts of ISWM all take place in the past and inside the house. Or at least, they take place inside realities created in the void accessed by the house. That museum? Yup, that’s in the house too. The house can alter reality and the crystal can teleport across realities, so it’s not outside the realm of possibility that it would be attracted to and land in a place with similar properties to itself.
This means that when Captain throws the warp crystal through the wormhole when it comes out the other side it lands right at Darkiplier’s feet inside a reality connected to the house. He immediately recognizes the crystal, making it the same one housed in the museum.
“So much trouble, all for something so small.”
Based on his shoes and bit of sleeve cuff we get a glimpse of, he’s probably also wearing the same suit as when he brings Heist Partner to Warden Murder-slaughter’s desk in the void. It’s not clear how the crystal wound up in the museum specifically.
The huge wormhole ripped open by the warp core is allowing universes to bleed into each other. 
Variants of Engineer bleed together when he glitches after going through the wormhole so many times in the “Jump in Again” section.
Actor’s character Heist Mark is in “Where in the World is Markiplier?” disguised as the man hunting him down. He uses the reality warping power of the crystal he stole to transform back when Captain calls him out on his disguise. Noir and Captain run into Abe, who seems to be existing in the same reality as him, meaning they hopped into a reality inside the house.
Engineer’s speech about good vs. evil is echoing his mannerisms from his experience as Actor wanting to be the hero vs Damien’s/Darkiplier’s villian.
The environmental lighting turns red and the WKM ending music (Who’s There 2 by Peter Sandberg) plays when Engineer realizes he built the warp core.
After putting out the fire on the bridge Captain gets transported to the Upside-Down, full of “Don’t wake the Captain” posters. They later get transported to the universe the Upside-Down showed them where Engineer is the only one alive on the ship. “I go and I come back and I go and I come back and I ALWAYS COME BACK!” could just be a Springtrap reference on top of being about Engineer’s multiverse jumps but it could also refer to Actor’s many deaths that didn’t stick.
Yancy is there and he and Captain recognize each other. He thinks they’re Heist Partner because they are. That’s another life they lived when traveling through the wormhole. His tattoos also shift to reflect the new choice paths and his knuckles say WARP CORE instead of DARK MARK.
Wilford appears on the Invincible II, but that doesn’t necessarily mean anything when he can hop around time and space willy-nilly. BUT he does see us in WMLW when he’s simultaneously talking to Abe and complains about how he has to re-schedule our interview that happens in AHWM.
Celine is a variant of Celci, that’s why Noir has a sticky note in his locker “Dorene=Celci?” It explains why Celine’s pocket reality was a snowy forest; Celci’s the head of Cryo.
Dorene Whitacre is obviously Celine, she dresses nearly identically, constantly reminds Engineer that she’s divorced, and even quotes her brother’s [redacted] catch phrase, “Life is ours to choose.” She’s supposed to be asleep in her cryo-pod but isn’t: Celine is supposed to be asleep in Darkiplier but might be waking up? Darkiplier with Damien fully in control wears mostly black with some white, maybe Darkiplier with Celine Fully in control is the inverse? AHWM is the only time his suit is white with a black shirt rather than black with a white shirt, reflecting Damien’s mayoral tuxedo.
Dorene/Darkiplier can appear in the Invincible II the same way Wilford can: they gained the power to teleport and warp reality. How else could they bring Date and Heist Partner into their void for private conversations?
Heehoo from Unus Annus is canon now?! He’s probably just a joke reference.
Illinois finds Captain in the cryo-pod, no idea how he got on the ship.
Professor Beauregard comes back.
Captain sees Alu in the warp core room but it’s in the Upside-Down.

TL, DR:
Heist Partner, Date, and District Attorney are all Captain variants.
Actor and all of his characters are all Engineer variants.
Engineer is not Actor, but Actor is Engineer,and thanks to the overlapping paradoxes, what I just said is simultaneously correct and incorrect.
There might be a universe where Engineer is Actor who got way too lost in his role the way Engineer does with the bomb squad technician and camp councelor.

For three hot days, from July 1 to July 3, 1863, more than 150,000 soldiers from the armies of the United States of America and the Confederate States of America slashed at each other in the hills and through the fields around Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. 
When the battered armies limped out of town after the brutal battle, they left scattered behind them more than seven thousand corpses in a town with fewer than 2,500 inhabitants. With the heat of a summer sun beating down, the townspeople had to get the dead soldiers into the ground as quickly as they possibly could, marking the hasty graves with nothing more than pencil on wooden boards.
A local lawyer, David Wills, who had huddled in his cellar with his family and their neighbors during the battle, called for the creation of a national cemetery in the town, where the bodies of the United States soldiers who had died in the battle could be interred with dignity. Officials agreed, and Wills and an organizing committee planned an elaborate dedication ceremony to be held a few weeks after workers began moving remains into the new national cemetery. 
They invited state governors, members of Congress, and cabinet members to attend. To deliver the keynote address, they asked prominent orator Edward Everett, who wanted to do such extensive research into the battle that they had to move the ceremony to November 19, a later date than they had first contemplated. 
And, almost as an afterthought, they asked President Lincoln to make a few appropriate remarks. While they probably thought he would not attend, or that if he came he would simply mouth a few platitudes and sit down, President Lincoln had something different in mind.
On November 19, 1863, about fifteen thousand people gathered in Gettysburg for the dedication ceremony. A program of music and prayers preceded Everett’s two-hour oration. Then, after another hymn, Lincoln stood up to speak. Packed in the midst of a sea of frock coats, he began. In his high-pitched voice, speaking slowly, he delivered a two-minute speech that redefined the nation.
“Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal,” Lincoln began. While the southern enslavers who were making war on the United States had stood firm on the Constitution’s protection of property—including their enslaved Black neighbors—Lincoln dated the nation from the Declaration of Independence. 
The men who wrote the Declaration considered the “truths” they listed “self-evident”: “that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” But Lincoln had no such confidence. By his time, the idea that all men were created equal was a “proposition,” and Americans of his day were “engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure.” 
Standing near where so many men had died four months before, Lincoln honored “those who here gave their lives that that nation might live.” 
He noted that those “brave men, living and dead, who struggled here, have consecrated” the ground “far above our poor power to add or detract.”
“It is for us the living,” Lincoln said, “to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought here have thus far so nobly advanced.” He urged the men and women in the audience to “take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion” and to vow that “these dead shall not have died in vain—that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom—and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.”

According to retired Arts College Lecturer Reg Cox, “Stuart was a lovely lad, he lived at No 9 when my wife, Ina, and I lived at number 11. Stuart would borrow our sweeping brush to clean his flat when his mother was coming to visit” Stuart’s parents lived at 37 Aigburth Drive in Sefton Park, which is now The Blenheim Hotel. Reg went on to say “Stuart upset his Belgium Landlady Mrs Plant, when he painted all the furniture black and white, some people say that Stuart was evicted from 9 Percy Street, he wasn’t, he just left to share a flat with his friends” “We had great parties in Percy Street” recalls Reg “It was very Bohemian and the cellars of the houses were inter-linked so we could go from number 11 to number 9 without having to go out into the street. The Liverpool Art set attended the parties, Fritz Spiegel, Adrian Henry and Roger McGough, to be honest I can’t remember if Paul and George were ever at any of the parties, remember they were not famous, but I know John did, he always wanted to be the centre of attention.”
Stuart was mentioned by name in the original lyrics of “In My Life”, this was changed when E.MI. Executives were worried about Stuart’s family being upset and possibly suing.* John changed the lyric to: With lovers and friends, I still can recall Some are dead and some are living In my life, I've loved them all

fine morning F55 ¾° at 8 ½ - no hairdresser this morning – carriage ordered at 11 – 3d. day to day – laquais de place Lefevre 3d. day to day – breakfast at 9 – strawberries as yesterday (1st time yesterday) – and sat reading Galignani till 10 ¾ - then dressed or rather changed my dress Mademoiselle Rosalie (the Swiss femme de chambre not coming at 9 this morning) after all the talk with Madame Figarol yesterday not coming at 9 am as fixed – A- and I took our valet de place, Lefevre (4th day) and leaving George at home went out in the carriage (4th day) at 11 ½ - put into the post, Place de la Madeleine A-‘s letter dated yesterday to ‘à Jubb Esquire Lord Street Halifax Yorkshire Angleterre’ for which paid 3/40 – to announce her going to the south of France for the benefit of the waters and begging Mr. J- to write to Mrs. Sutherland if he thought there was occasion respecting Mrs. AW. – then to Madame Figarolls’ – after waiting some minutes found the dress could not be ready for me to try on – the femme de chambre perhaps could not come till Monday – I said that it would be useless to come then for I meant to be off on Tuesday § - then to Madame Contants’ – to go again at 5pm to choose French cachmire [cashmere]  shawl for myself - § annoyed about the dress not being ready to try on tho’ did not shew it – but immediately resolved to go to Miss Daniel C...... r. de la villevêque no.4 recommended by Miss Gassy – Miss D.C. Melody knew this room.
It was the room where it all started, the house that came to her in her dreams. It seemed like your average house, maybe it would make a nice home until you paid attention to detail.
The couches were warped colours, the walls turned from a lovely white to a sour green colour and the lights flickered different colours.
And then there was the male, sitting on the couch. He wore black clothes, his hair ruffled and eyes glowing gold. The skin around his eyes seemed to shimmer, like scales.
“Hey Baby,” He cooed.
Melody turned, walking out of the room only to walk back in. She learnt long ago that the house was like a loop, once in a room, you didn’t get out.
“Why are you ignoring me?” He stood up with a pout that didn’t meet his eyes, “Am I boring you?”
“Your not real,” Melody hissed, “This is a dream and you don’t exist!”
“I’m real, I’m as real as they come,” He chuckled, “After all, you pulled me here,”
Tears started to fill Melody’s eyes as she turned away from him, gripping her hair in frustration. She paced around the room, the carpet under her feet changing textures with each step.
“I want to go home! I want to go back my brother and-“
“The orphanage? You really want to go back there?” He asked softly as he cupped her face.
“I want to go back to normal!” Melody screamed.
He grinned, laughter leaving his lips, “This is your normal now, Mels,”
Opening her eyes, Melody screamed as a person was sat in front of her. Cleo giggled softly, crouched in front of the bed.
“You’ve been asleep for two days,” Cleo whispered.
“Two days?” Melody sat up suddenly, “What? I..,”
An alarm suddenly went off, Cleo sighing softly as she stood up. She wasn’t in the white hospital gown anymore, instead in a long black dress.
“I guess we better be going,” Cleo smiled, “Are you ready?”
“What? Are you escaping-“
Cleo suddenly pulled her into a hug, as a result pulling her off the bed. Melody squealed, waiting to hit the floor. Only they didn’t hit the floor, instead a castle wall surrounding them now.
They seemed to be in some sort of cellar, a simple window shining sunlight. Melody detached from Cleo, rushing towards the window and soaking in the rags.
They didn’t have windows at the asylum.
“Where are we?” Melody asked, noticing the jungle outside.
“A sanctuary,” Cleo smiled, “For people like us,”
The door opened, two men standing there. One had a dark coloured robe on, his eyes slit like a cats. The other had white hair, dressed in more modern clothing.
“You got them?” The white haired one asked.
“We only didn’t hear from you for two weeks!” The cat eyed male spoke, “Cleo!”
“Scott, we’re fine,” Cleo laughed softly, “Melody, this is Scott and Dabin but your little inter-dimension buddy knows that,”
Melody stared at the three of them, “My what?”
The white haired male, Dabin, just chuckled, “Let’s just start with the basics, Melody, your a child of Arcadia,”

Chapter 3
RoboWitch WhiteDwarf and the Space Authority Witch are gazing into some malformed crystal boxes, it’s all a mystery to me said the RoboWitch, all these growmites and spandibacks i have no idea what it is all for. “did Witch Healer Black, let anybody in here?” oh no, even i never cleaned in here, i just brought her lunch and that was about it. “so only the people here tonight knew about the Healers project of Ultimate Robot Assistant. Robo Witch WhiteDwarf's chrome eyebrow twitched Yes. “where is this Ultimate Robot Assistant?” i don’t know was her answer. The Space Authority Witch asked what was under the giant dark grey cloth in the centre of the room? If there had been a film camera, it would at this moment zoom out to reveal a grey tall lump towering over the room. Robo Witch WhiteDwarf’s chrome head rotated 90 degrees to look at the cloth. She answers that Witch Healer Black was a witch of meagre tastes, she had only bought the space palace to fit in with her witch inventor mates. “Can you show me your powering down room please?” They all hovered to the door next to the main kitchen. It shisshered open and everyone peered inside. An empty cupboard room just big enough for one WhiteDwarf. The Space Authority Witch took a closer look. Nothing. They all entered the kitchen and had a look for something to eat. Munching on future delights we could never imagine. The Space Authority Witch floats up to the highest cupboard, as she approaches it shisshers open and out falls a space colour swatch. Followed by a few hundred more.
A MASSIVE CLANKCLASH SOUNDS behind them as Sentinel War Witches yellow chrome hat hits the floor... she retrieves it sheepishly. And they all turn from her to RoboWitch WhiteDwarf.
I dream of my own palace decorated in all the cosmos colours, said RoboWitch WhiteDwarf. Everyone went back to their munching.
Chapter 4
“Could i have a word". Witch Cosmo Cosmos followed the Space Authority Witch to one side. “Now the celestial records tell me you work with... subverting dimensions”! ‘yes, i just won another big prize for it, i managed to place a mug of tea on a hyper velocity object, exactly twenty seconds before it crashed into a moon inter orbiting two gas giants; all from the opposite side of the same galaxy’. “very useful ability it sounds like to me, and you were the first guest i hear... so you were alone in the ballroom!” ‘erm well yes... though i had given my space witches hat to RoboWitch WhiteDwarf'. “i see, and was the tea milky”? ‘err, what, erm yes it was milky'. “thank you for your time then".
RoboWitch WhiteDwarf was checking the space palace security records for any signs of trans dimensional activity. Nothing. “well, with her abilities it is possible she found away to hide from the palace sensors, I’m sure of it". Yes definitely answered RoboWitch WhiteDwarf.
“i need her hat". RoboWitch WhiteDwarf retrieved the hat from inside her bodies storage compartment and handed it over. “and mine".
The Authority Witch took some implements out of her witches hat.. she scanned Witch Cosmo Cosmos' hat... “no interdimensional recent activity energy traces". The Space Authority Witch asked RoboWitch WhiteDwarf for a distraction, as she surreptitiously scanned Witch Cosmo Cosmos' from close behind her. Nothing. She scanned everyone individually for signs of recent trans dimensional energy. Nothing. And lastly Proffessor Pulsars witches hat. Nothing. “they really are a cunning lot these witch types”.
Chapter 5
“could i have a word". Green Banshee followed the Space Authority Witch to one side. “you’re an old friend of Witch Healer Black’s, that is quite unusual for a banshee!” ‘erm well yes, you see she saved my life when we were very young, she could have let me perish as most witches would do rather than risk their own lives.’ “i see, and did Witch Healer Black often show you her work”. ‘only when it is practically finished and i can be proper impressed’ “and this Ultimate Robot Assistant, what did you know about before coming here tonight?” ‘well i knew it wasn’t a robot, and is actually a cyborg'. “so there are biological parts, i see". This case is getting more intriguing, thought the Space Authority Witch. “do you know why Witch Healer Black called them a robot”? ‘erm yes that is strange, i had not really given it much thought'. “thank you for your time".
The Space Authority Witch walked back to RoboWitch WhiteDwarf, “she’s lying”. Of course she’s lying, she’s a banshee answered RoboWitch WhiteDwarf. “I need another distraction”. Sentinel War Witches’ witches hat clanked to the floor somewhere. “never mind".
The Space Authority Witch was scanning Green Banshee's tiara for anything really. Nothing.
"could i have a word", Professor Pulsar walked to one side. “you’re a professional in the art of robot magic, tell me, do you know of what use a muse bush would be in Witch Healer Black’s inventing”? ‘I am afraid i have no idea, we were working on interdimensional storage, all the tools you could ever need, inside a portal dimension... i have no idea how a muse bush could help with that'. “i see and did you ever see the Ultimate Robot Assistant"? ‘no, i only ever sent my notes on interdimensional positrons, we seemed to have hit a wall in our research as we were getting some strange patterns in our readings, electronic patterns as though they were thoughts, coming from the minute voids in time and space we were opening’. “WOW, er thank you for your time".
“Can i have a word" Sentinel War Witch followed the Space Authority Witch over to RoboWitch WhiteDwarf. “so what do you think, any ideas which one of them did it"? Does not compute, none have motive, none show enhanced heartrate or perspiration, no hormonal changes... these witch types have not seen combat recently, said the War Witch. “i suppose I’d better interview Mayor Death”!
Chapter 6
“Lady Mayor, might i have a word”? Brown robes follow the Space Authority Witch to a comfortable chair. “how is the soul recycling business going”? ‘we just added a new psyche stretcher for the main production line in the Soul Recycling Centre'. “that err soundss erm entertaining, so cheese? Why cheese”? ‘why not cheese' “ah, yess so you are a connoisseur can i be so bold as to infer"? ‘why not!’ “hmm... have you known Witch Healer Black for long may i ask"? ‘not how long, which way would be a better question’! “ah heh, which way”? ‘the witch way indeed’! “ “ ‘before you go on, i much fetch something i left in the limo’! “ah, well rrhh i think that’s all for now, thank you Lady Mayor".
“She’s hiding something!” yes, she’s a fluorescent pink skeleton who’s mayor of the 53 Galaxies, who turned up to a dead witch inventors palace in the middle of a witch watcher conjuring, going on about cheese... i don’t think anybody has ever had more to hide! Said RoboWitch WhiteDwarf. This does compute added Sentinel War Witch. “alright, i think a new line of inquiry is needed... I’ll just scan the celestial records for any suspicious muse bush Gogoling from these guys". Nothing.
Chapter 7
The Space Authority Witch had a thought. Where’s the cyber room. There is none, Witch Healer Black didn’t believe in entertainment, she was all work work work said RoboWitch WhiteDwarf. Let’s explore the glass houses, said the Space Authority Witch. One has a large stone wall with sculptures of carrots at intervals. Professor Pulsar grabs one of the stone carrots, it shifts and a hidden doorway opens in the stone wall with a splurt noise. They all Follow the hidden passageway to an Illegal heroin cheese wine distillery, can you imagine the whiff of congealed beef milk steam. They all notice the Little silver triangle polips at the end of leaves of the familiar Cheese Crack plants. There is also an ancient locked iron safe. They all try their magic to open the safe. Nothing. Professor Pulsar remembers something about 20th century technology. “i have an idea” she says.
The two robot witches are using their hyper listening as Professor Pulsar turns the ancient dial. It unlocks with a sklinch. Inside is a case, the Space Authority Witch opens it and a golden glow bathes all of their faces. “I’ll be taking that” said professor pulsar opening her hand with a glowing white ball. A MURDER MOON. It hums and sonically wreaks a medieval choir of primeval hatred. Green Banshee SCREAMS and they all pass out. They wake to the case and Green Banshee missing. The Murder Moon is neutralised on the floor “damn banshee magic" ‘just be grateful she didn’t use The Scream'. “So its either Professor Pulsar or Green Banshee” said the Space Authority Witch. Sentinel War Witch doesn’t wake up, her bodies front hatch opens slowly. They all peer inside at a smooth gun metal cube. It slides out of the robot and a clattering springing release of morphed highly efficiently stored weaponry sprawls across the floor. They all tool up.
The Space Authority Witches’ hat is sniffing on the trail of Green Banshee. They leave Professor Pulsar WitchCuffed in the hidden room. A space bog space land out the back. Shimmering gases, pools of molten rock, grime trees of all sizes sprouting from every meteor surface. All 3 dimensionally sprawling in the void of outer space. They all spread out and switch their hover canes to silent. Green Banshee is behind them, she opens her mouth slowly. A dimensional portal opens next to her head and a hand with red nail varnish reaches out and taps Green Banshee on the shoulder, she turns her head and the hand now a fist knocks her out.
Chapter 8
“Witch healer black was going to subvert the robot extreme honesty protocols, she had to be stopped”, said Professor Pulsar. “you can see that surely. I saved the universe. Genius professors can’t be trusted in this future of powerful technology. I asked the Witch Watcher to poison her couscous. Witch Healer Black had already drank the witch watcher witching tea before anyone arrived. And it was easy for her to add a little poison while Witch Healer Black was distracted by beetle iridescence. We recruited the Witch Watcher to keep an eye on all genius'. I am agent Seven0s... The Cyborg’s a secret to hide masses of the heroin cheese wine, galaxies of robotic portable portal dimension hidden heroin cheese wines”. ‘And where is the Ultimate Robot Assistant’ asked the Space Authority Witch. “In the Watching dimensions. The Witch Watcher is teaching her the appropriate protocols for a robot”, answers Professor Pulsar.
“Death industries hoped to procure the rights to the Ultimate Robot Assistant”, said Mayor Death holding a solid gold carrot with emerald sparkling carrot top.

Wow thank you so much!
1. Tell us about your current project(s)  – what’s it about, how’s progress, what do you love most about it?
Depends on what you mean by "current" to be honest.
The fic that I have that's currently updating (on a hiatus, but yknow), Angle of Approach, is about how much trauma I can stuff into one character before he explodes a Classic Rich Douche Fuckboy type lying through his teeth to get dick from a guy who likes him genuinely, except said fuckboy's parents are abusive, his self-esteem is on the floor of Satan's wine cellar, and doesn't actually believe someone can "like" him """"genuinely."""" Progress has been slow (as I've been recovering from a wrist injury), but I'm REALLY excited to get into the next few chapters because that's when all the delicious character development happens. I just love... character development. People can change, and I love that for them. And the themes of blood family isn't necessarily your "real" family, breaking the cycle of abuse, all that good stuff.
My most recent idea that I've been obsessing over lately is from a dream I had, an original WIP idea about magic artifacts falling from the sky, their uses unknown, and a mage from a swamp village in the middle of nowhere having to battle classism in order to figure it the fuck out. Currently all I have for it is a document for notes and 90% of a map. It also has some lovely character development bits in it, as he befriends the prince of his country who is a lovable dumbass, but completely clueless as to what being poor entails.
2. Tell us about what you’re most looking forward to writing – in your current project, or a future project
There is a future project. That I have been dying to write in full for so long. Set in the 1920s with the MOB and CRIME AUGHUGh I LOVE PROHIBITION ERA SHIT. IT'S THE BEST.
Unfortunately, it's a mystery, and I have never written one of those. So it's a slow going.
3. What is that one scene that you’ve always wanted to write but can’t be arsed to write all of the set-up and context it would need? (consider this permission to write it and/or share it anyway)
Ehhh, I don't have a lot of these? I write my WIPs out of order and outline it later, so all of the stuff I've "always wanted to write" I just Do write. It honestly helps a lot with the structure of the story! All I have to do is connect the bits I already have.
4. Share a sentence or paragraph from your writing that you’re really proud of (explain why, if you like)
Mmmm this is difficult... Recently I finished a one-shot (currently unpublished), and this bit is something I'm really proud of:
They didn’t share words or sweet nothings because there would be no point. They’d already told each other every secret. There were no promises left to make.
They were using each other, and letting themselves be used, one last selfish act of kindness.
16. Tried anything new with your writing lately? (style, POV, genre, fandom?)
Well. I'm going to have to learn how to write smut eventually, considering what AOA is about, and what the tags promise. I have strategically avoided this. It's going to be Inter sting when I finally have to sit down and do it lmao.
20. Tell us the meta about your writing that you really want to ramble to people about (symbolism you’ve included, character or relationship development that you love, hidden references, callbacks or clues for future scenes?)
HRGH the problem with this is that so much of this is SPOILER TERRITORY!!! I've put so much foreshadowing in AOA and I ANXIOUSLY AWAIT the payoff, I am chomping at my bit to get there I'm REady.
Unfortunately, I am on chapter 7/27. So. There's that.

As well as various caves, warehouses, old houses / mansions / castles that Andy still owns (I do hc that somewhere along the way someone - probably Phel- went behind Andy and properly purchased old holdings and put them in various secure holdings in the modern age so no one could randomly purchase an Andy special treasure trove and unearth god knows how many secrets) - Andy also has a dimensional pocket of a pantry / cold larder / root cellar / garden that kinda stretches on indefinitely technically that is where Phel started stashing special foods, fruits, herbs, etc that were Andy’s favorite of the eras so as to be able to surprise Andy with something like “here’s a cup of that honeysuckle jasmine tea that do and so used to make for you when you were having a bad day sweetened with that honey that was made by the bees that pollinated from the now extinct fruit tree that you loved a couple thousand years ago” or whatnot. Andy didn’t know how Phel kept pulling these magical food treats out of the proverbial hat but eventually Phel showed her how to access the inter dimensional pocket storage.
This is something she does not use when anyone else might happen upon her using it for a number of reasons but it has been something that she’s used to arrange special dinners from time to time for other immortals / Eternals etc when they’ve had a bad decade or are feeling particularly homesick.
It is only used for food storage / cultivation though. No matrix style endless weapons cache. This is just to add flavor to her history (literally) and something Phel did for Andy.
Also, I’ve mentioned this briefly before but Andy is well aware that angels and demons and therefore by default a god does exist technically. She thinks god whoever he/she/they are is a pos and was drunk at the time he made his so called glorious plan for the earth and humankind. Her opinion of god only continues to sour the longer she’s alive, especially when Phel ends up dead (or so Andy believes) fighting gods war - and when the end of the world comes whether it be twd or dominion style or whatever she considers it just further proof she was right all along.

For three hot days, from July 1 to July 3, 1863, more than 150,000 soldiers from the armies of the United States of America and the Confederate States of America slashed at each other in the hills and through the fields around Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. When the battered armies limped out of town after the brutal battle, they left scattered behind them more than seven thousand corpses in a town with fewer than 2500 inhabitants. With the heat of a summer sun beating down, the townspeople had to get the dead soldiers into the ground as quickly as they possibly could, marking the hasty graves with nothing more than pencil on wooden boards. A local lawyer, David Wills, who had huddled in his cellar with his family and their neighbors during the battle, called for the creation of a national cemetery in the town, where the bodies of the United States soldiers who had died in the battle could be interred with dignity. Officials agreed, and Wills and an organizing committee planned an elaborate dedication ceremony to be held a few weeks after workers began moving remains into the new national cemetery. They invited state governors, members of Congress, and cabinet members to attend. To deliver the keynote address, they asked prominent orator Edward Everett, who wanted to do such extensive research into the battle that they had to move the ceremony to November 19, a later date than they had first contemplated. And, almost as an afterthought, they asked President Abraham Lincoln to make a few appropriate remarks. While they probably thought he would not attend, or that if he came he would simply mouth a few platitudes and sit down, President Lincoln had something different in mind. On November 19, 1863, about fifteen thousand people gathered in Gettysburg for the dedication ceremony. A program of music and prayers preceded Everett’s two-hour oration. Then, after another hymn, Lincoln stood up to speak. Packed in the midst of a sea of frock coats, he began. In his high-pitched voice, speaking slowly, he delivered a two-minute speech that redefined the nation. “Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal,” Lincoln began. While the southern enslavers who were making war on the United States had stood firm on the Constitution and said that its protection of property rights—including their enslavement of their Black neighbors— was the heart of the nation, Lincoln tied the country's meaning instead to the Declaration of Independence. The men who wrote the Declaration considered the “truths” they listed “self-evident”: “that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” But Lincoln had no such confidence. By his time, the idea that all men were created equal was a “proposition,” and Americans of his day were “engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure.” Standing near where so many men had died four months before, Lincoln honored “those who here gave their lives that that nation might live.” But he noted that those “brave men, living and dead, who struggled here, have consecrated” the ground “far above our poor power to add or detract.” Instead, “[i]t is for us the living,” Lincoln said, “to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought here have thus far so nobly advanced.” He urged the men and women in the audience to “take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion.” In November 1863, after more than two years of deadly fighting, Lincoln rallied Americans not just behind the idea of freedom for Black Americans that he had declared the previous January with the Emancipation Proclamation, but also behind a new concept of America, one that would bring to life the ideas the founders had put in the Declaration but never brought to life: that all men are created equal, and that governments “derive... their just powers from the consent of the governed.” Lincoln urged Americans “to here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain -- that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom -- and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.”
