The Bascillica of Holy Cross in Florence...
It is a prestigious symbol of Florence, a meeting place of the greatest artists, theologists, literates and politicians who, in time, have determined the identity of the medieval and Renaissance city.
It is the largest Franciscan church in the world, where many prominent figures rest, including Niccolò Machiavelli, Galileo Galilei , Sandro Botticelli, Michelangelo ,Vittorio Alfieri , Ugo Foscolo and many other famous people.

The Gilded Gallery is located within the Hôtel de la Marine, which was formerly the Crown Furniture Guard. This room, resembling a miniature hall of mirrors, was originally used to exhibit bronzes and chests of drawers crafted by renowned cabinetmakers.

One of my favourite, and sort of secret, places in Rome is the incredible Palazzo Colonna. The great hall was completed in 1700 to celebrate the victory of the Christian fleet over the Turks at the Battle of Lepanto in 1571.📸: @michaelthecanadian
