lol yes they are adorable. i wonder if there’s some actual connection or notable interest between se asia and iceland, or if hima just saw an excuse to make some climate jokes ? regardless it’s adorable

also i usually don’t use cutesy ship names but iced java works well for them ! esp since indonesia is a major coffee producer and iceland has one of the largest per capita coffee consumption rates. maybe they balance each other out well ? a little hot yet cool/cold yet flustered dynamic ?

Wow yes indeed it's rare like I usually say this a lot but it's basically my first time hearing this ship! But I think it appeals to me too! Because as far as I remember, there was a chapter about them, one of them invited Ice for something and they had an interaction there right? I feel like they would talk about many and various topics. They would be good listeners for each other, maybe even try to find some solutions for their problems. And Ice seems casual with him as well so I give 8.5/10!

I'm not sure how to feel about this one because I feel they would be so incompatible. like on the one hand, being unhealthy or toxic or generally 'why the fuck would these two people willingly be in a relationship' doesn't necessarily make ships uninteresting. but I'm trying to see the chemistry and failing, I think. like they can bond over being overshadowed by their brothers but that's not particularly appealing to me tbh.

tbh I think Matthew is not only too sensitive - or at least too much of a doormat - for Romano, but also that Romano might struggle with someone so lowkey and who won't really respond to his bait and bicker with him. the dynamic seems a bit stifling tbh. >_> I'm really sorry if I just shit on your ship though.

📚 what part of the webcomic/manga is your favorite?

Absolute favorite is the chapter that shows Holy Rome and Prussia spending time together where Holy Rome is sick and bedridden, while Prussia reads him Grimms fairytales, but then HRE starts asking questions because he doesn't understand some parts and Prussia gets flustered and says it's too inappropriate for children (here!). We don't talk about it a lot but the relationship between Prussia and Holy Rome is so special to us. The private concert comic is also a good one.

🏛️ If you could pick one historical event to adapt into Hetalia, what would it be?

This is SO hard because there is SO many interesting ones but a very fun one that suits the goofy nature of Hetalia SO well is the Whiskey War, which for those who might not know is a border dispute between Canada and Denmark over Hans Island. It's fun and lighthearted, and also gives us the bonus of canon Denmark/Canada interaction.

💘 What's the most obscure pairing you have a soft spot for?

That is a WONDERFUL question actually. I like DenPru, i don't see that many people ship it but i don't know if it's actually that obscure because a popular blogger likes it . I also love nedden.

I also think IceIndo/IndoIce(?) Is cute . There's actually a lot of interesting Iceland ships specifically where the only reason i don't ship them is because i see Iceland as a teenager . Like Romano/Iceland
