"Alma, are there any museums around Purgatory?" Genesis was thinking out loud a little. "You see, I quite like history, and I'd love to learn more about the history of where you're originally from. Think you could take me there?"

He paused. "... I'll let you use my magits to buy something you really want."

Alma would've offered to take him anyway, but the promise of magits certainly sweetened the deal. "Well lucky for you, there's at least one proper history museum in the city. Those are rare you know, with time being practically irrelevant around here."

She opened a holographic map from her ribbon, zooming in on a icon indicating the location of the museum. "The Primordial Museum, dedicated to the Order Of The Void and the major events in building Purgatory. There's more museums surrounding it, but they're mostly dedicated to individual cultures and peoples. C'mon, I know the way."

It wasn't quite her idea of fun, though. Not that the subject wasn't interesting, but that childhood memories of the place were rearing their ugly heads; she'd only be brought there for fancy gatherings where she was forbidden from speaking or moving.

But, anything for Genesis. Alma certainly didn't seem unhappy to go, so long as he was coming with her. She simply held his hand with the usual glee, leading to the museum plaza.

In the alleys that separated the museums were colorful rows of stands selling goods pertaining to each museum, mostly useless toys and knicknacks, some selling some tasty snacks though. Front and center of course, the biggest and most extravagant museum, was the Primordial Museum itself. It seemed almost like an observatory, with a massive dome made of glass designed to resemble galaxies and stars in the sky. The architecture of the place on the outside was nothing to scoff at, with arches lined with elaborate and colorful tiles and columns with small golden text, only visible when looking upclose. It wasn't even native Purgatorian text either, it was far more ancient and abtract than that. "Well, here we are! I have to admit, it looks more impressive than I remember..."

And since coming to Olympus at Persephone's invitation, he's found little need to adopt his hulking cybernetic form at all times -- although she's assured him that she adores him regardless of the skin he wears, there's a height disparity that's quite impossible to ignore when he is the warrior the galaxy knows.

There is also the advantage of having cheeks to kiss... an advantage Persephone employs to the fullest of her enjoyment in this moment. And it is very much also to Bill's, whose dusky tan face breaks into a smile... a real smile, with lips and bright eyes and straight teeth that he can show or not show if he feels like it... at both her affection and the notion of brownies.

"And a good morning to you, as well," he quips, lifting a four-fingered hand to brush against his face, as if sealing the lingering sensation of her kiss against it. "Brownies would be most acceptable."

Then he leans forward and gently, almost shyly, presses a kiss to her own cheek in turn. A kiss of his very own... a gift that, a mere matter of years ago, would have been impossible for him to offer.

But above all else, he is still Beta Ray Bill -- and he would not be him if he did not offer assistance of some kind. "Is there anything else you crave that I might retrieve for us, while we await the oven to finish its work?"
