More Charlie Lore!
I ended up writing a lot more than I meant to so it's once again under a cut bc it's just a wall of text mostly
Their story and background is still a wip so some of these details might change eventually but anyway!! Some more info on Charlie and ghosts in general ☺️
Charlie died at 22, in 2008. They heal in the Afterlife and seem to stop aging. (They find out later they actually just age incredibly slowly)
They also can ‘die’ if they're injured enough. They're still human enough that they need the now ectoplasmic blood flowing through their body, however, they do have enhanced healing, so they can take more damage than a regular human.
They also have the ability to heal others, but at the cost of taking on the injury themselves. So, if they were to heal a paper cut on someone's thumb, then it would appear on Charlie, and would take as long to heal on Charlie as it would for a normal person. (AKA, Charlie can't take on someone's injury and then heal with their accelerated healing faster than the hurt person would have healed. Charlie's a ghost so I'm trying not to make them too op lmfao)
When Charlie visits other Plains, time for their world still moves normally while they're gone. They can't time travel in their own Plain, timelines are still linear, so if they spend 5 months in Halcyon with the crew, when they return back to their version of Earth, 5 months have passed there as well. (Charlie's Earth isn't the same Earth Ren is from, they're just very similar but different Plains)
Charlie grew up in [Redacted], in a shitty apartment in the city with their dad. They didn't grew up with a lot of money, but it never really bothered Charlie, they were happy with their dad.
Charlie’s dad died when they were 16. He got sick.
After that, they end up having a pretty uneventful life for a little bit, aside from lying about their age so they could live alone in the apartment after their dad died and not get taken away. But they keep their head down and finish school with good grades, goes to a community college while working for a few years to save money and eventually gets into a pretty good university with a really good scholarship which is where they start studying whatever the field is that would study the Afterlife or Plains.
(I'm still working on naming stuff bc it turns out world building is hard)
I have some stuff in the middle, too, like Charlie has some friends (whose names i haven't landed on yet) that help them out after their dad first dies and they eventually look into Charlie's disappearance after they die, and a kindly older lady neighbor who pretends not to know that Charlie is 16 after their dad dies and covers for them a lot. She leaves them “leftovers she could simply never finish” all the time, especially when Charlie first starts college, etc.
After Charlie is injured and then dumped in the Afterlife, they heal and spend almost a decade in the Afterlife trying to adjust to being a ghost, because they don't know they're not fully dead yet.
i have a LOT of ghost lore which will probably be its own post some time bc it's a seriously unnecessary amount of lore but the important part for Charlie is that most of the time ghosts can't really use their ‘powers’ for longer than a few seconds, maybe minutes in another Plain, if they can even appear at all. But Charlie, because they're still part alive, can sustain their form in the Real World still.
Howeverrrrrr, Charlie healed with ectoplasm so they also took on a ghostly form. In this world ghosts, when fully visible, look similar to what they looked like while alive, but with everything wrong. Sharp teeth, pointed ears and talon like fingers, glowing eyes, general spooky stuff. Powerful ghosts can disguise themselves as human momentarily (hence ppl seeing non spooky ghosts. cuz some ghosts are just ppl wanting to say hi) and bc Charlie is a weird mix of alive and dead, they can appear human for extended periods of time without using too much energy.
ANYWAY Charlie accidentally figures all this stuff out the hard way when they're sucked through another opening like the one they'd been thrown into when they died, and landed back on Earth in 2017.
and that'a a bit of what i have so far! it's fun writing about a completely originally character but i also am loving the idea of just dumping them in Halcyon for a while hehe
(@the-lastcall (tagging u bc you had asked about more charlie info 👀) )

Introduction + Rules
“Look, I’ll keep this nice and simple. I got roped in by the others to do this and here we are. Whoohoo. Alright, my name is Melissa Fair, my title is Consigliere but just call me Melissa. If you got any questions just send them my way.”
Tumblr media
She came to the manor solely for business. What kind of business? It can't be legal, that's for sure.
-----
A/N: Answers are mainly texts and I plan on filling them with art later.
--Basics--
Nationality: Asian-American
Survivor type: Decode subcontainment
When did she arrive at the manor?: September 15th (Check Not Going to Bother).
Character Day/B-day: June 30th
Height: 5'2"/157.48cm
Voice Claim: Justine's Mic
Likes: Solving things, weapons, symbolism
Dislikes: Disorder among peers, funny business.
--Skill + External Traits--
Item: Paper Codes (Can be swapped, similar to Norton's magnets but it can only be used so many times before they get destroyed... Like Melly's net.)
Skill 1: Do You Understand This?
Blue paper: When in use, it increases decoding by 2% every time the skill check hits a perfect. (So 2%/4%/6%/8%/10%, it stops at 10%.)
Red paper: When in use, increases movement speed by 5% per cipher machine's done. (Max is 10%, because 15% sounds too OP.)
Skill 2: Run in with the Law
Being used to running away from the law, vaulting speed is increased by 15% for 2/4/6(one of these numbers) seconds. (I would add something related to getting terrorshocked, but that's too OP, and Freddy already has that.)
Debuff: Walk it Off for Now
Healing speed and rescuing speed is slowed down by 15%.
--RULES--
1. Just use basic internet common sense, just down below is some reinforcements.
2. Admin's(aka me, Katniss) 18 now but still don't send anything majorly NSFW, if it's for a joke pls DM me clarifying that it's a joke. Otherwise, I may carry it too far without knowing.
3. I allow magic anons so like yes you can inject her with truth serum or turn her into a mermaid. Or give her a shock collar! Wait I'm showing the Quotev anons- :ohgodohduck: ALSO! I respond very quickly, so keep those asks coming.
4. Due to life replies may receive a long answer or a short answer. Along with that, some may receive art and some may not. All I ask is don't be a whiny-
5. I may occasionally swear(if it seems fitting) and mention topics such as drugs, blood/gore/injuries, and possible threats. I will add TW to those, Melissa's position originates from the mafia, after all.
6. NEVER, EVER, HOLD BACK YOUR MUSE! THIS GOES WITH OCs, CANON PPL, AND AUs! If they want to hurt her, hurt her, the same goes for comforting and such. It'll be a lot more fun. If it's angst-heavy, I'll probably ask if we can stop, sorry I'm emotional. I do descriptive roleplaying so expect blocks of text or a short thing.
7. If you want to do some shipping stuff please let me know. I plan on having her as multiship so relationships will never ever cross each other.
8. Have fun, everybody!

Iris is so prettyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! Can you maybe expand on that tribe? If they're open, I'm going to make an OC just for the aesthetic-
HGSYHSYHFFSRYBFYSHFRY IM SO HAPPY YOU ASKED
Idk if Tumblr will give you a notif so I'm @'ing u jic @the-unhinged-fangirl
Ok so I'll make this a s brief as i can (it was not brief I'm sorry i can't open my laptop in at the moment so no read more), no lore just the basics enough for ppl to make an OC
-GemWings are descendants of an offshoot of icewings that probably hybridized with RainWings (hence their appearance). The offshoot dragons didn't really have a name, (let's call them slushwings) but due to conflict they moved to the Southeastern part of the forests below the sky kingdom and creating modern day Gem kingdom. Slushwings are believed to be extinct (they're not, they are now ashwings that look pretty similar to the original offshoots but they aren't important rn)
-Appearance: Gemwings have slender and flexible bodies, long tails and (generally) smooth heads with a slight curve on the snout. Their scales are shimmery and shiny, coming in a wide variety of colors and patterns; the general look is having a white body with either dark or very colorful markings. They have frills bigger than those of a Rainwing, being also notably reflective and varied in shapes and stuff. Eyes can be basically any color, and their mouths and tongues commonly go from shades of pink, red, orange, purple and blue (but you can go more creative with these).
A notable feature are the sharp blades in their tails and wings. These are common called gem blades, or just blades, and they can appear as spikes on their necks and backs, on their arms and legs, and a few other places, except on the head, as only royalty has small thorns of blade on their heads or horns.
-Abilities: Gemwings are very agile and swift, and even though their thin scales don't offer much protection, they do aid in flexibility. Their claws are sharper than an icewing's, and their blades are deadly with the correct technique.
The "special ability" of this tribe is that of hypnosis. Hypnotics as they're called, have the ability to hypnotize dragons to a certain degree, depending on the strength of their power and mastery of it. The effects can go from confusion, sleepiness, hallucinations, to borderline mind control, although the last Is very hard to achieve. Hypnotics can hatch at random, but chances can increase with at least one hypnotic parent. They can be distinguished by their oddly shaped pupils and irises, most commonly a diamond shape. When they hatch they have a "predetermined" strength in their abilities, and they can train to become better at it, but not to reach WAY higher level.
A mutation that is more common in this tribe than others is a condition similar to myostatin deficiency, making the normally slim Gemwings a lot taller and muscular (Sard is one of those). They are stronger although less agile and they heal quicker from injuries than the average dragon, but sterility is extremely common and they also have slightly shorter lifespans (but not for too much).
-Naming system: names are most commonly of gems and minerals, colors and properties of gems like radiant or chatoyant for example.
So to wrap this up, they're an open tribe, you can make hybrids, Animus dragons (btw those are only in the royalty), mutations, royals, etc as long as you DIRECTLY credit me as the creator of them and DO NOT use them for anything nsfw or problematic/hateful (the 100% open status may change in the future but not too much). You can take Iris as the semi average gemwing, remember that colors and markings can be extremely varied and the shapes and placement of the blades is also different on each dragon (quick note: the blades on the wings can be on like, the top of other digits and have either a small articulation where the bone bends or just are placed on whole bones as to not interfere with flying)
If you have any questions you can just ask more or dm me!

I have decided to do a self-insert- 😃😃 Lily is now part of the Genshin world-
If ya’ll are interested in her backstory, pls continue- but if u aren’t, its okay- :pp i just want to share it-
(I also decided to edit the Yatagarasu a bit :pp bc i only know abt it thru ace attorney: miles investigations- ya know, Kay? So imma center it abt that-)
So I was planning to make Lily a Yatagarasu, i’ve heard that he was a great thief in Japan (idk if this is tru- cause when i look it up- it showed a three-legged crow-) or in this case Inazuma- and I also want her to have some connections with Cecilia (ya’ll remember her right-?). So this is what I have in mind-
Lily was born in Inazuma, in a rich, powerful family. Her parents were actually ppl that do experiments on children, one of this was Aura (or, as we all know, Cecilia). Lily was never aware of this fact however, since she views her parents as idols. She has two older brothers, of whom she loved dearly.
Her parents weren’t home much so she usually spends time inside her room or with her brothers and servants. Her life was practically perfect until-
Lily was curious on what her parents do so she followed them one day. You can imagine her horror when she found out- her parents soon discovered that their youngest child followed them. Knowing that she would tell everyone, they promptly banished her from Inazuma.
[I also have smth in mind abt banishment. Since her parents are powerful, they must know spells, right? What if they make an enchantment on her that makes her unable to return to Inazuma? Like tatoos. They’ll burn in her skin if she ever gets too close to Inazuma. Just a thought- 👀]
Lily, now frightened and alone, was scared. She didn’t know where to go. So she wandered in the wilderness, gaining injuries and bruises along the way. She only ate what she could. It isn’t until she stumbled upon a village (im not sure abt this part actually but lets wing it-)
The villagers (mINEcRAfT-) took pity on Lily and an elder took her in. There she slowly healed. And its also there where she learned how to fight. Since this villagers were known for their stealth (or ninja) background, they decided to teach it to Lily.
Lily slowly mastered their techniques and such. She learned how to use a polearm (yes, i like polearms- fite me-) and slowly became a master. Through trials and errors of course. She left Inazuma when she was around 5-6, and she arrived at this village when she was around 7 (so she wandered for 1-2 years-). She stayed in the village until she was around 12 or 13 years old.
Her life was completely normal, until a fire broke out and wiped everyone in the village. Everyone but Lily. Devastated, she fled once more. But she now carries the knowledge of the techniques that the village has taught her.
She wandered around once more before arriving to Liyue Harbor (i actually dont know where Inazuma is located but lets just roll with it-). There, she saw how ppl behave. And saw how ppl is having a hard time with money, poverty in short.
Ever since she was young, she was told of the great thief Yatagarasu, who would often steal something and return it. No one knew about their true intent. Then they revealed that their only goal was seeking the “Truth”. After saying that, they took down the malicious ruler (at that era) and made Inazuma a paradise once more. (I’m not sure abt this- hshsh-)
Ever since then, tales about the Yatagarasu has been passed down from generations to generations. Lily always wanted to be like them, to be someone that is fighting for justice and freedom. So, she decided to become the second generation of the Yatagarasu.
Instead of doing what the tale said, she decided to be like Robin Hood and steal from the rich and give it to the poor. Ofc, since she was young and albeit clumsy, she was caught multiple of times. But she was always let out, free of charges. This is bc of Ningguang, who gain a deep respect towards Lily for her actions (i believe she would respect those who wants to help the poor since i read that she suffered from poverty as well-).
News started spreading abt the Yatagarasu, who steals in the night and vanishes in the morning. It spread like wildfire abt the sudden appearance of the Yatagarasu. Lily continued her actions, believing what she’s doing is good. As much time goes on, she soon became a master of stealing things from ppl.
But soon, the ppl in Liyue Harbor protested. They wanted the Yatagarasu to disappear. As much as Ningguang wants her to stay (she pities Lily-), she had no choice but to send her away. Even tho the ppl want to know the identity of the Yatagarasu, Ningguang kept it a secret and manages to calm the ppl in Liyue Harbor.
Now on the run once more, Lily continued to flee (she continued to ran for days-) until she reaches a mansion near the river. Starving, she took some grapes but was caught by a man. This man was none other than the mansion’s owner, Diluc. Diluc noticed her immediately and ask her where she came from.
“Inazuma. But I was banished.” She simply answered. Diluc noticed how thin and frail she look, having not eaten anything ever since she run away from Liyue Harbor (imagine that long trek- yikes-). Diluc decided to take pity on this girl and offered her a place to stay in the mansion, only for a while. In which Lily immediately accepts.
Diluc gave her food and some new clothes. (Her current design is albeit similar to his actually- just wanna point it out bc i want to draw her after this- 🤧) Lily’s pale skin began to glow and the light in her eyes came back. Diluc soon discovers her ninja-like skills when she was trying to reach for the cookies in the cupboards above-
He decided to let her stay in the Dawn Winery, making her his assistant or smth. So now, Diluc has a girl who’s following around, even in Angel’s Share. Many rumors started spreading abt the sudden appearance of Lily and the sudden disappearance of money for the rich ones-
Afterall, the tale of the Yatagarasu continues on- even if she’s not seeking the truth. (Diluc knows abt her Yatagarasu identity btw- 🤧🤧 he basically becomes her older brother-)
She doesn’t have a vision btw, i’m planning on giving her a vision thru the story- 👀 i’m still debating whether or not she’s an Anemo or a Pyro-

I am so fucking tired of hearing the "well only 1% of ppl die from getting covid" bs
You know how many kids died from polio? About 3% on average. Adults faired worse, but even then about 70% of polio cases were asymptomatic. The remaining 30% ranged from mild to death, with mild taking up the lion's share.
At our peak year, the US had about 52,000 reported cases of polio (which means that the actual number of people who had it but were asymptomatic was almost about 200,000).
Out of those 50k+ symptom diagnoses cases, only 3k died. The other 47k recovered.
Yet even those numbers were sufficient to create the March of Dimes and a public pressure to find cures, vaccinations, etc.
Within 15 years, doctors started to notice that adult survivors were developing similar symptoms and these patients were the first to show what are now called "post-polio syndrome" patients.
But even before that, the 20-25% of cases with symptoms but who recovered often had mobility issues, bent legs or arms, 'frozen' joints, etc because of how poliomyelitis attacks nerves.
With Covid, if you say "well 99% of ppl survive" a) you're wrong, it's more like 93-95% and b) you're saying '99% are fine' ie survival means complete recovery.
Nope.
It's like saying that 99% of people survive amputation of multiple fingers.
Well sure, they survive, if it's a binary alive/dead count.
They didn't die from it, so they survived.
But how does having 6 fingers change your life from having 10? How does losing a thumb change your ability to do things in every day life? How much extra wear or stress will your remaining fingers, hand, etc take on due to you having to switch to a non-dominant hand as primary use or accelerate repetitive motion conditions like carpal tunnel?
How long would it take you to adapt to having fewer fingers, adapt to a prostethic, gain confidence in the reuse of your hand(s)? How much more would you have to pay every year for medical stuff and how much on non-covered items that you'd have to replace or just start buying for convenience?
Scissors? Can openers? Button hooks?
What if your job was typing, like a court stenographer? Or a music teacher? Would you be able to adapt?
Alive doesn't mean unchanged or unharmed.
Surviving doesn't mean returning to the status quo.
People aren't just dying from Covid or surviving it, everyone. A large portion of people who have recovered from covid have serious damage to their heart, lungs, brain and other organs that may never fully heal, complications that change their lives forever—just like lots of people who survived Smallpox or polio or rubella were never back to the way they were prior to catching those diseases. Going through it doesn't end with you being 100% fine if you survive.
It's more like :
Out of 100, 95 ppl survive initial infection
- of those 95, X (let's say 35) end up with a long-term issue
- of those 35, 25 have more than one longterm issue (lasting over 6 months, requiring medical checks or adaptation of work/life) that may be treatable or improve over time without much intervention
- the remaining 10 have conditions that are chronic and less likely to improve over time and in turn could make the patient more likely to die from other illness, decrease their overall quality of life and decrease their lifespan overall.
So suddenly it isn't a 5/95 issue, it's a 35/95 issue and a 10/35 issue, so your odds of surviving haven't changed but your odds of surviving unharmed and exactly as you were before are greatly decreased.
Now it's more of a 1/3, where you swap from 5% dying to 30~% having long-lasting illness, symptoms or developing conditions that continue for anywhere from 6mo post-infection to end of life 20, 30 or 40 years from now.
If I cut off, say, your right thumb and left forefinger, you're 99% likely to live afterward, but you're certainly going to have a ton of fucking issues with doorknobs, buttons, typing, getting dressed, etc which will require months or years of you adapting along with costing you a shit ton of money in costs for medical, assitive devices, potential career change and all the time involved in learning how to use your hands/body. But hey you're part of the 99% who survived so why are you mad?
So to review -
5 die.
35 survive with potential life-long issues.
60 survive with little to no symptoms or complications (but also no long-term immunity so could be reinfected and/or still subject to secondary development of issues related to their exposure in the future)
Sounds more like a 40/60 split than a 5/95 now, right?
That's because IT ALWAYS IS
3k deaths out of 50k from polio doesn't give you the # who were permanently paralyzed in a limb, two limbs, left unable to walk, etc. or that up to 50% of polio survivors developed a condition from their original exposure decades later (and that no one even knew existed at the peak of polio infections in the US) even if they survived without permanent paralysis of any part of their body.
We're on track to see 400k+ deaths by the end of the year in the US alone and that doesn't include the people with chronic or permanent issues who survived.
It isn't binary.
It isn't something to dismiss because of the percentage of fatality is 'low'.
It also isn't only your life that is being endangered.
Don't travel for the holidays.
Don't gather with people outside your household.
Don't go all over shopping for gifts.
Don't hold your tongue around people you care about: tell them to stay home, tell them to not gather, tell them to be patient and think of others.
It isn't just covid. It's all the cancer patients having to delay treatments that compromise their immune systems. It's all the patients needing organ transplants who cannot get surgeries. It's the backups of CT/MRI for emergency patients bc of protocol to avoid contagion. It's about all the people who need care only hospitals can provide being rescheduled or shuffled down the weeks. It's about full hospitals, people forced to find ways to get basic needs met in areas that don't have many options for at-risk people, and a domino effect of selfish behavior directly leading to the injury and death of thousands who could be alive today if people just did the bare fucking minimum and masked up, distanced and stayed home.
Stay the fuck home.

Vienna and cultural trauma
WOW so cool to sign into tumblr and see 99+ notifications, and think “oh a post got some attention,” but it’s actually just general attention!
My astro blog is ready for some action! Or maybe ppl are just bored bc of the quarantine. Either way, it would be cool to write.
I want to write about VIENNA.
I just took a course about somatic healing of trauma and it gave me a good overview of how trauma recovery works. Chapter 1 of trauma recovery is gathering resources. Chapter 2 is dipping or oscillating back into the memory, whether it’s a clear memory or just something held hidden in your body, with your new resources, and allowing circles to complete. Chapter 3 is being bigger bigger brighter in the world !!! (It’s a nice course, it’s on somatopia.com, it costs $40 if you have that to throw around, it’s like 2 hours of videos of a nice man talking in a soothing voice in intelligent language about healing from trauma)
Now I’m thinking about cultural trauma and Vienna. I have long felt that helping to heal the Hitler wound of Vienna is one of my soul’s major dharmic thrusts. So I googled “healing cultural trauma” and most resources out there talk about the trauma of the victim culture. That kind of trauma is totally different, because it recommends amplifying the traditions and greatnesses of the culture, and when you’re a cultural perpetrator of violence, amplifying the greatness of your culture is a trigger because cultural superiority is what lead your culture to be violent. But there are still a lot of resources with a lot of valuable information. I’ve only skimmed a couple things so far and it seems like one thing people emphasize in cultural healing is human connectedness.
The internet is a little hard to navigate on this topic, but I found an NYT editorial called “I loved my grandmother but she was a Nazi.” The author’s sweet grandma was literally a Nazi but she was a nice person who didn’t hate Jews. When the author talked to her about it, she would deflect. “He said a lot of things, I didn’t listen to them all” and “I was caught up in my own life” etc. The author says, that’s bullshit, there’s something she’s avoiding, and I can’t understand what it is or why she’s doing it, and I’m hesitant to say this because it might seem like I’m trying to forgive Naziism but I’m really just trying to understand who I look at when I look at my grandmother. It’s the most direct address of the West’s Nazi wound that I’ve found in my two and a half minutes of searching on google and I think it’s on the nose.
In the readmore are my more concrete thoughts on potential resources for Western/German/Viennese healing, and thoughts about what working through phase 2 would look like for a perpetrator culture.
Resources
On this reddit post:
https://www.reddit.com/r/history/comments/5nfqwp/my_grandmother_grew_up_in_nazi_germany/
there are some resources. First of all, 1. there are people from diverse backgrounds respective to WWII, coming together and talking as equals in the same kind of “room.” The descendants of the persecuted and the persecutors are together and they are not enemies. The knowledge, and SOMATIC FEELING EXPERIENCE, of that, can be  a resource. I am typing over this brusquely and that’s Mercury magic for you and you should know that I just burst into sobs. That in just a couple of generations, the grandsons and daughters of enemies can be together and not hate each other and even love each other is an immense resource and can be leaned into at any point. There is a vast well of cultural relief available here. My tears are thankful, grateful tears, tears of relief. I am thinking of the parks in vienna that are holocaust memorial parks. I am thinking of that horrible statue out in front of the Albertina that is a memorial to cultural violence but at the same time, also represents the trapped soul of the Perpetrator culture, since we are all One. In the same way that a piece of music which opens with a terrifying chord represents both the terror experienced by the terrorized, and the menace of the terrorizer, AND THE FEELINGS IN THE terrorizer that caused them to generate this chord... off on a tangent, and I’m not sobbing anymore! That was crazy. I have a tendency to lock my feelings up, but being alone in this house and in this quarantine, I can open up locked wells of feeling like that.
That resource is IMMENSE, and it’s RIGHT in front of our faces all the time. I took a class on 20th century germany in undergrad, and the professor was a young guy with a Nazi grandfather, well I’m not sure if he was a Nazi but he was a German soldier, and he remarked on it. And I think at the time I thought “how lovely” but if you sit with that feeling, it’s deep as hell. And if you sit with it from the perspective of a penitent perpetrator, it’s REALLY FUCKING DEEP.
So that’s available. Im gonna post this real quick as a way of saving the draft but I have more ideas.
Okay. Continuing,
Resource 2 also from reddit post
The top respondent says his German POW uncle had a British GF. That’s similar to the first resource, but more immediate. I’m sure there are lots of stories like that. Intercultural experience that nullifies certain tensions
Resource 3 also from reddit post
The stories of people who did do the right thing... maybe. I dont know. I’ll get off this post soon but it’s interesting. Idk if this counts as a resource, it’s kind of a tangent, but the more I learn about karma and trans-life inheritance of it, the more it seems true that it really is better to die living in line with your beliefs than to live safely. Like the person in Pweuy’s post. That father died but his karma was pristine as far as this was concerned and perpetrator trauma did not cling to him.
ok jesus this is an interesting post... the girl skipping over the river of blood as it trickled out of the asylum... the hitler youth boy befriending a lamb and the nazis slaughtering it in front of him... the russian soldier who guarded the german girl because she reminded him of her daughter...
Okay. Before I go on, I want to clarify that I am not specifically talking about people who held Nazi beliefs in their core. There is a special type of perpetrator injury that is specific to that kind of thing, true villains and terrorists. I’m talking more about “ordinary Germans” who didn’t think very hard and got swept along, moderate supporters to moderate resisters. As a culture, they were moved by the tides into Naziism. They have culpability, but not the exact same kind of culpability as perpetrator people. The culture moved to perpetrate these crimes, and they were a part of that culture. That’s the specific kind of wound I’m interested in healing. There is a poster on that page whose grandma really loved Hitler...
Ok! I spent a lot of my energy in that page, now its 10PM and I still have veggies to prepare. I need energy for this next thing I was going to talk about.
Resource 4 - this one specific coffee shop
I’m putting *s in its name because I like this blog anonymous. P*****n is a coffee shop in Vienna that is the only happy place I went. There were places that were ok... and fine... maybe pleasant... but this place was American levels of happy. Waiters danced around and were actually relaxed and happy. P*****n’s theme is intergenerational communication. It hires grandmothers to work behind the counter, and make pies, and you’re supposed to buy a slice of their pie and talk to them a bit. And then the waiters are young, and they communicate with the Omas. And the Omas are maybe not old enough to have been Nazis but their parents were.
They also include a bit in all their menus about intergenerational dialogue and wondering what more they can do and how they can be more of a space for it.
I had MANY genuinely pleasant little experiences there... and I think that little space that some person with a vision made, is a blossoming flowerpot with lots of healing energy where true dialogue could happen. So that could be a resource too. The happiness of that place. In fact, these conversations could happen there.
But I wouldn’t want to break the space. The course I just took talked about titration, which is just accessing a TINY part of the traumatic memory, so you don’t get overwhelmed. This is a very icy fucked up conversation for a lot of people. My Viennese friend told me to talk more quietly about it than I was. Actually I did talk about it there with some people! The German girl was surprised that I thought Vienna had a wound. So was the Irish girl actually. For other people it’s really evident. My Viennese friend. D**n. Rf: “it’s ALL I feel when I am there.” ME. God that conversation was sooo gentle and sweet and light. The Irish girl was wondering if she should move to Vienna or stay in Barcelona, and the three of us talked about Vienna nd it was SOOOOO LOVELY, holy BALLS.
But even if we don’t hold conversations there exactly, that could be a really good place for conversation to start. I could reach out to the people who run the shop to ask them about it. And then maybe conversations could happen in other places (don’t want to spoil the sweetness of the shop).
Resource 5 - personal as I investigate maybe not really a resource - but yes maybe it is a resource: Grounded, comfortable people who are Viennese, and who understand the goals and also understand the sensitivities of Viennese people more than I do;
Resource 6 - people who are experts at cultural healing in victim cultures
Resource 7 - fostering dialogue between those two parties, also me.
Again I’m really playing fast and loose with the idea of resources. Maybe. We’re starting to move into phase 2, also, because with this dialogue, I want to open up some scripts for how to TITRATE sensitively.
phase 2
For instance, notice that I didn’t say something like “Remembering Vienna’s amazing heritage of incredible music that has the power to redeem and heal equal to and more accessibly than religions.” I think it’s true that Viennese music is a major healing resource (BEETHOVENSCHUBERTMOZARSKLTBSLJRTHBLEWSKJNS:OFDFD), but since it is bound up in Viennese identity, that notion is complex. Also, it’s not only that Viennese identity is nasty because it’s nazi and therefore that gives Schubert etc a dark tint, but also, the grand things that Vienna has contributed to western culture are now a part of Vienna’s current wound of degradation, cheapification, and humiliation by TOURISM. although I will say that I think Resource 8 should be MY OWN deep internalization of the healing power of Viennese music. Posting again to save...
...not only does that music help me be healed, but it also helps me understand healing process in the specific language of the culture i’m interested in
okay.  Phase 2.
A picture of what I think sorta needs to happen
I think Omas that say “It was just a lot of talk, we ignored it” and “I was busy in my life”... I think what needs to happen for a perp culture is for them to actually own their part in the villainy, to claim it and stand in it and feel the pain, and say “I’m SORRY, this was HORRIBLE, I AM SORRY.” THIS WILL ALLOW THEM TO BECOME NEW!!!!!!!
That’s a v different healing process from like native american healing etc.
I really think somatic approach is a better road in than cognitive because, god, imagine cognizing all of this HORRIBLE SIN bit by bit knowing your culture perpetrated it and not having anyone to blame it on. Jesus.
How might the process of getting there look?
This is vague especially now that I don’t have that burst of energy. Conversations...
Here’s a question. After resource gathering.
“Knowing that bells rang for Hitler in Vienna, how does it feel to be Viennese?” IN YOUR BODY?
Damn THAT’S GOOD! THAT’S THE FUNDAMENTAL QUESTION. How does it feel to be Viennese? The goal is for it to feel OK.
Um, speaking specifically about Wiener trauma and their welcoming of Hitler, a few years ago, I read this in some guidebook, Vienna’s government acknowledged that they welcomed Hitler and that they were wrong, and investigating that is important for my mission. It’s cool because 1. it’s a Big Ol Step and 2. it lays groundwork for all of this.
Step 3 is really beautiful to think about. In the course I took, it’s where the instructor got out of his soothing calm neutral demeanor and started speaking passionately and bursting with smiles.
In addition to being able to be more firmly grounded in their own individual and cultural identities...
Okay, so, I’m drawn to this because I’m drawn to it, punkt. That’s all. But also, and I think I’m really late on the uptake here, I think I was due in Vienna many years ago, I think that whatever work I do in Vienna is helpful for the echoes of Naziism in today’s world, such as Trumpism (which does not...exactly... have the same kinds of premises but uses a lot of the same kinds of mecahnisms) and actual brazen nationalism, white supremicism, and far right movements. Hitler is a LOUD and REVERBERANT figure in our history for this kind of energy, and if we can do healing surrounding him, re-discovering resilience in the moderates, helping them go through the emotional journey they need to go through, they will be a beautiful resonant horn call from the past, a solid core of NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that will strengthen the culture of the entire FUCKING world.
Music will be a part of it.
I have always loved Vienna, and I can’t really analyze it. I love it like a girlfriend. I know she’s problematic. And she can be really really horrible.
The wound is deep. The horribleness, the life negating quality not only of the FUCKING WRETCHED SHOP CLERKS, but also of the WAY -- THINGS -- HAPPEN, of the overall weird ass SPIRIT in Vienna, is... God DAMN WHY do I like that city so much? It’s bizarre. It’s very pervasive. I don’t enjoy experiencing it, I don’t think it’s attractive, I don’t like it. I love Vienna THROUGH that wound. I REALLY LOVE Vienna. That’s one of the clearest things that I know in my heart. I love Vienna... and that’s the whole story. It’s one of the easiest things for me to say.
Lots of people love a city. We do it for reasons. I think our hearts are drawn where they are drawn because we are attracted to healing the specific karmas of places. The karma of my hometown is mainly racial, with native american underneath. The coffee shop that is equivalent to P*****n serves often as a place of racial conversation and healing. It is actually pretty amazing. And once there was a white supremacist with a gun there and he stood up on a table and let people see his gun. He didn’t yell or anything. But that vital thing happened there in that coffee shop.
Excuse me I also love coffee shops and Vienna is the land of coffee shops.
Okay. I love Vienna! I literally love Vienna, with my heart. I love Vienna.
One last thing. I’m saving then editing...
The postscript: A major resource, and it kinda sidesteps some things, is language. It will be much better if German is spoken in these conversations. When I went to Vienna last, I didn’t prepare my German because when I went to Vienna first, everyone spoke English and it was simply easier to speak English all the time, so I figured I wouldn’t try to give the illusion and disappoint. But lo... the native people really, really resent it if you don’t even try to speak German. They actually seem to experience it as an injury. It is wild, if you’re not expecting it.
ALL OVER VIENNA I saw the Graffiti stamp/brand, “Tourism is terrorism.”
When I was in the airport and the cute customs dudes asked me the purpose of my visit, I said “TOURISM” and they laughed. That was fun. But it was a lie. I was a pilgrim. I... know I was a tourist, technically. But I felt such hatred for the tourists standing like apes in front of the Schubert statue in the Stadtpark. Their wretched selfie smiles plastered on top of the emptiness of their experience. My purpose in Vienna had nothing in common with theirs. And I claim that I didn’t do a lot of the tourist things - not many museums or concerts or whatever.
One of my more pleasant memories was going into a used book shop and asking about a book in the window, a German-language edition of the tao te ching from 1923 (a very strange time). I asked in English. The clerk was confused and asked if I spoke German, and I answered in German that I spoke some German, but was learning, and knew the TTC very well, and that it’s simply usually easier to speak in English. I might have used imperfect German, but I felt dignified and natural doing it.
Ok, not only the German language, but the quiet Viennese demeanor of Scorpiness. Scorpscorpscorpscorp. Quiet, observant, emotional, and responsive to gentle tenderness and consideration, and traumatized by brashness.
Both the spoken language, and the language of the demeanor, I think are somatic approaches that sidestep cognitive...things and make the culture feel unconsciously accepted and open.
On my first trip I learned howwwwww AMERICAN I was, and then on my second trip I opened myself up to my inner Wiener and was quiet and scorpy, and I felt warmth emerge from the people and city in response. It felt really right, and it felt like i was honoring...her, and it felt um sort of romantic. ha

This week was mad busy!
I worked four days, it would’ve been five but I’m currently sitting on my bed injured from last night because I played bubble soccer with the youth from church, long story short I got hurt.
Here’s some videos:
So I was the one in the blue bubble who kicked the ball away from the net right before “This is how we do it” started playing! By that point, I think I endured my “injury.”
The thing is, I was still able to walk and run at the time. I think with the adrenaline in me, I couldn’t really feel the injury that much so it didn’t hurt as much.
Soon after we stopped playing though, walking was uncomfortable and I kept wanting to stretch out my leg because it didn’t feel right. So the back of my knee and ankle are hurt.
Not sure how serious it is yet, I’ve basically just been icing it and then I put on the Voltaren Emugel to help releave some pain. So far, it still feels trash.
I already called into my work today to let them know I don’t think I can come in because of my leg and I’m hoping they’re not expecting me to come because I can barely walk straight.
I walk with a limp and putting weight on my leg hurts it so I don’t think I would be very efficient at doing my job because I have to carry heavy stuff and push carts sometimes.
It’s not the greatest idea to try to do any of that. I’d prefer if I could heal it fully then go back into work feeling fine so that no more injuries can happen. So I plan to not go into work today.
Really hoping they can find someone to come in so I can feel less guilty. But I can’t feel that bad, like if I truly can’t walk properly, I hope they don’t expect me to actually come in.
Aside from my injury last night though, I had a pretty nice week. It went by fast and I picked up major hours! God always making a way for me, so I appreciate Him.
I got to see my crushes on Thursday! So first it was my tall, blond handsome, then my short crush, then my American Dragon crush. I had a really good time getting to see them all.
Thursday, May 16th
Short crush
I saw him first thing in the morning before my shift started. I was just sitting down waiting to clock in when he came to buy coffee with his coworker. I think he peeped me but I was far.
So because he was so far, I didn’t want to make it obvious by watching his every move so it wasn’t until he was leaving that I looked up to watch him leave out of the premises.
Maybe it’s my imagination, but I want to believe he was looking out of the corner of my eye to see if I was looking at him. Unfortunately I never got to see him for the rest of the day :(.
American Dragon Crush
I saw him majority of the day because I was actually working a similar time slot to him today. He was surprised to see me and asked which section I was working in.
I proceeded to tell him where and then I had to go. So on both my breaks I kept running into him while he was working and he even came around at one point to ask to use my charger.
Again. Haha. I’m so used to it now, it’s like a given. But it’s still cute. Our little excuse of getting to talk to each other longer. It was funny too because I was just putting it away when he asked.
He stood where I worked for a lil bit to charge his phone and then went with my charger to take it to his area. This time I didn’t have enough time to tell him to bring it back.
He did bring it back, securely wrapped in his hand again, as he knows from the previous times I appreciate when he wraps it instead of giving it to me carelessly.
And when he came back, he actually came to relay a message and remind me that I had two catering orders to take care of at different times so to please get them prepared.
And then he came to give us a hand, technically because the time he was telling us was suuuper busy and there was just too much to get done in the short amount of time.
So he lingered for a while because... he had to, but in that time it was really nice having him in my presence. Like I was a tiny bit nervous but super calm at the same time.
I’ve been trying to sort out the vibes he gives me to make sure that I’m not just making up nervous vibes. If they’re there, maybe that’s a red flag. So I’ll keep watching him.
[not that any of this matters because I’m not pursuing any kind of relationship with him and realistically I don’t want to date him at all, he’s just cute for liking/crushing on me]
But yeah so he was mostly talking to me when he was helping us out, which was very telling but I was just acting casual. Nothing serious to it. And when it was time for him to go, he looked like he didn’t want to.
***Alsooo*** he was in my personal space a lot today! Not that there’s much room to begin with where I was, but ya know that thing where you feel someone invading your bubble?
I felt that alarm or whatever go off a lot that day and I wasn’t exactly uncomfortable about it, if anything I was only avoiding putting my face close to his but otherwise I felt okay about it.
😊
Tall, blond handsome crush
Okay so it was a very brief and simple transaction today. Today it seemed like the vibe was off or something. I wasn’t feeling the mutual attraction from him today?
So I’m starting to become less and less confident with his supposed attraction towards me, if he ever had any to begin with. I think I need to be more pleasant when I see him.
Because lately when I see him I act how I always used to act around my crushes: that is, shut down and forgot how to use all the good traits of my personality for flirting.
It’s been hard being back after school’s been done and adjusting to seeing him a lot more regularly now, so it’s hard for me to act completely normal around him.
It’s either super poker face, to the point where I have no personality, or I’m nervous and that might come off as friendly, however it also is weird because, from his perspective, what reason do I have to be nervous around him?
He doesn’t need to know! I just want to get back to the Britney who knew how to handle being nervous on the inside while still looking completely calm and friendly on the outside.
Feels like I haven’t been that girl in a while in front of him. It’ll take some time and practice but regardless I’m gonna try and and remain confident at all times!
Anyways so he got a large, black dark roast coffee and ughhh disgusting, I can’t believe ppl can drink that, him of all ppl, that’s such a nasty order but I’ve memorized it regardless.
Next time I want to be able to start his order before he even gets to the counter so he can have some clue I’m into him! Not that anything needs to come out of this attraction.
It’s just nice to feel attracted to back sometimes, if he has the capacity to have those kinds of feelings towards me. But I’m not gonna be butt hurt if he doesn’t.
***Forgot to say*** But I also saw him quickly when I was walking in the hall and I looked hella good in general, but at the moment I was going to the washroom and then gonna fix my shirt.
So I can’t be sure how exactly I was looking, I just know on Thursday in general I looked hella cute so maybe by the time he saw me on cash, he was thinking that and got intimidated?
I’m not gonna spend too much time thinking about it though. Of all my crushes, he’s the one that’s the most out of my league and I don’t care that much if he’s not interested tbh.
Tumblr media
But anyways, y’all if you read this, reply like mangoes or something and also could you all pretty please pray for my leg to heal really quickly because I don’t want it to be a serious injury!
Thank youuu if you do read/pray for me loves 💕💕💕✌️✌️✌️

a slightly edited / updated rundown of most of my muses’ quirks in the bnha verse + affiliation in terms of villain / hero / resident ,     keepin’ in mind that this also doubles as a human!verse for all of them  ;          this was made when i still had like 19 or smth muses so shh it’s not close to all of em & also uhh yeah not all the quirks are as original as i’d’ve liked but hey i’m not as creative as i’d like & there’s too many ppl w quirks for there to not be redundant quirks shhhhh v_v :
adagio :           mindcontrol through singing     ——     works more as smth that makes others more susceptible to her influence in specific ,     so if someone has strong enough willpower they can break out of it or avoid it altogether  ;          affiliation :     villain ;
mabel :           levitation     ——     kinda like ururaka’s zero gravity but not quite ,     as it can’t be used on herself but can be used without touching her targets ,     so think like mixed with inko’s quirk ;          affiliation :     resident ;
pink :           tail     ——     kinda like ojiro’s but not quite ,     as it’s only usable as a comparably weak extra arm ;          affiliation :     resident to the public eye / villain ;
luci :           manipulation of light & lack thereof     ——     making light brighter & changing the shape & size of shadows by manipulating the light surrounding them  ;          affiliation :     resident ;
barry :           bee sight     ——     views everything in the color range of a bee’s vision ,     i.e. from orange into ultraviolet light ,     & has the ability to distinguish individual targets while they pass at high speeds  ;          affiliation :     hero ,     with a part - time side - job as a lawyer ;
shadow :           teleportation     ——     ranging up to about 5km in any direction  ;          affiliation :     hero ;
scourge :           sonic speed     ——     fast running at speeds up to the speed of sound ,     far faster than average reflexes & movements  ;          affiliation :     scourge   —   villain ;
phoenix :           secret detection     ——     can tell when someone is hiding a secret / lying & the general importance / severity of said secret / lie ,     though it can be worked around depending on wording & only works when talking face - to - face  ;          affiliation :     resident ;
perry :           platypus     ——     has the features & abilities of a platypus   ( electrolocation when eyes & ears are closed ,     webbed & clawed feet ,     incapacitating venom barbs on ankles ,     tail ,     etc. )  ;          affiliation :     hero ;
donald :           voice     ——     similar to present mic but not quite ,     as it has far shorter range ,     though it compensates in direct physical damage ,     & gives him a speech impediment due to how the quirk affects his mouth / throat  ;          affiliation :     resident ;
garmadon :           four arms     ——     functionally the same as fourth kind’s  ;          affiliation :     villain / resident ,     depending on placement in timeline ;
marden :           regeneration     ——     grants functional immortality ,     all wounds & injuries healing within a minute ,     which means they can technically be killed by normal means but come back to life soon after ,     even if breathing & heartbeat have been stopped ,     so the only way to permanently kill them would be to drop them in the middle of a volcano or the ocean  ;          affiliation :     hero ;
aziraphale :           wings     ——     functionally & basically the same as hawks’ but not quite ,     as they’re almost twice the size & can be entirely retracted at will  ;     used to have four but a pair was permanently ripped out  ;          affiliation :     hero ,     with a part - time side - job as a bookshop owner .

Objects of Power?????
I figure, if Rochilda and Rhaegar and Rob’s dragon can be filled w power and become living talisman, and Dezod’s house can be a non-living one, surely smaller objects can do the same and those objects can be used to give our five resistance members a fighting chance as well as forging various plots etc...so!! thought id put together some ideas/concepts...and shockingly (cue eye roll) I got a little carried away...
anyway!! obv, we can mix and match any of this, any stories, any powers, any objects...just ideas!!
inspo: [ x ]
The Staff of Mithrim (sometimes transcribed Mithirim) the Greater -- extant
A Gandalf/Merlin-like figure who is Said to have served the first Aragothi Kings for almost two centuries, Mithrim belongs to the mists of time.  While some doubt that there is any authenticity whatsoever to his legend, others claim that there was, indeed, some such person (or persons) who at one time walked the world.
The anonymous Scholar of Vysova (c. 250 AL - Age of the Lion) held that Mithrim was no single mage, at all, but rather a title for the king’s court mage -- or perhaps, suggests Reymund of Swystone (c. 133 AD - Age of the Dragon), a collection of mages who may have served a purpose similar to that of the dragonriders.  Lysander Stafford (A Modern History of Sorcery, 812 AD) reverts to the old belief that Mithrim was but one man, and sites a fragments from a lost work (said to have been penned by the Young Dragon, himself) that Mithrim used energy from a now-lost amulet in order to extend his life that he might help Aragoth longer.
Whatever the identity (or, indeed, identities) of Mithrim, many great legends exist about his life but, perhaps the strangest relates to his death.  It is said that, rather than dying as a mortal man would, Mithrim translated his essence into a powerful object now known as the Staff of Mithrim.  This powerful talisman is a huge and twisted staff made of wood.  It is alternately said that the staff was carved from a tree into which Mithrim translated a la Merlin, or that the staff had always belonged to him and been carried by him in life before he translated into it.
Whatever the case, the staff still exists and its power is just as great today as ever it was said to be.  Because it is not known how many souls may reside within the staff, however, it is impossible to say how powerful it might be.
The Kingsword/The Sword of Rowlin I - extant (sort of)
The first King of Aragoth is a semi-mythic figure.  Served by Mithrim the Greater, who picking him out of prophecies that were already ancient at that time, helped him along his way, Rowlin I of Arrington carved order out of chaos and forged a way of life for those who followed him, founding a mighty kingdom high in the mountains of Blaminster.  Through shrewd negotiations and bloody conflicts, he brought more and more under his dominion (a duty his descendants took quite seriously and soon nearly all the continent was held under the sway of Arrington scepters).  His reign, though it had its own issues certainly, was as fair and just, the king looking to establish a rule of law and justice in his territories, rather than his own petty feelings of any given moment which had been the closest anyone had yet come to arbitration until that time.  His reign was considered a golden age.
In the midst of the many battles he was forced to fight -- each other strong man wishing to crush his regime and take it for their own, as killing was a way to show their own strength -- his own ordinary sword cracked and splintered, Rowlin nearly dying in the midst.  Seizing the opportunity, after the battle, Mithrim had a new longsword forged.  Rowlin was known for his immense height -- said to be nearly a giant -- and so the blade was a longsword said to stand from tip to pommel as high as the next tallest man of his court.  (While this is doubtless an exaggeration that has grown with time, that the blade was massive is evinced in its two surviving pieces).  The Sword of Rowlin was passed down to his descants who ruled after him, becoming known first as the King’s Sword and later, simply, as the Kingsword.  The legendary blade was not known merely for its size, however: it had been imbued with great power.  The sword was magic.
In its forging, both Mithrim and a rival sorcerer, Hragos, worked together to forge it: the project being so great it required both of the two greatest mages of the time to create it.  Their very hearts and souls flowed into the crafting of the weapon.  It is said that, because Mithrim represented all that was good, and Hragos all that was evil, the sword was half a blessing -- and half a curse, and its power so great that it was said to drive its lesser wielders mad.  Whether this was simply a confusion with the strain of mental illness that runs through the Arrington line cannot be said.  Tellingly, it is alternately said that the weapon was entirely blessed until its wielding in an evil deed -- often cited as the infamous Slaughter of Frain in 239 AL -- curdled the blessing and turned it into a curse which is said, in this version, to have driven the later Arrington Kings mad.
Crafted from adamantine and forged in the breath of ten dragons, it was the fiercest weapon that had even graced this world, strong enough to cleave through anything -- even spells -- and can never go blunt or rust, while also remaining light to hold.  Inscribed with runes, they blazed in time of war and gleamed with soft light in peace, but glowed crimson when one of evil intent approached.  It was enchanted never to miss a stroke.  When drawn, the Kingsword blazed with fire.  When drawn by a worthy for a worthy cause, the fire would do no harm to its wielder, but when drawn by one who was unworthy for an unworthy cause, the fire would consume the would-be wielder and kill them.  It is said that the blade could slay gods and demons and that it could repel evil magic.  The Kingsword could slay with a single blow -- and revive the dead with but a single touch of its pommel.  These were its blessings, but its curses were as profound.
It is said that the curse was so heavy that when the Kingsword was unsheathed someone must die before it was re-sheathed -- even if that means the life in question is that of the wielder.  Able to kill in a single blow, even with those whose lives were spared, the wounds it inflicted -- even the smallest ones -- could never be healed.  When allowed to strike the ground, it caused tremors and even the occasional gash through the earth.  It was so preternaturally sharp that, when rested blade-down, it cut through wood without the use of force.  Perhaps most terrible of all, the Kingsword was said to feed off its wielders, giving them power while simultaneously devouring them from the inside out and it is said, further, that it is from this awful source that the sword still draws its power: consuming the souls of those who wield it.
Early in the War of the Two Crowns, however, the Kingsword was broken (an event which was taken by many to be a sign that the Southern cause was, indeed, correct), cleaved in twain between the pressure of dragonfire and war.  Both ends of the blade remained sharp, however, and they were taken by two mages and reforged, each into its own sword.
When the new swords were complete, a contest was held.  The two sorcerers each placed their sword in to a river and patiently held it there.  One blade sliced everything that passed beneath it: fish and leaves and seasweed and water and the very air that passed by it.  The other blade, however, cut through the leaves and the seaweed which passed below it, but the fish wriggled past unscathed, the water parted about it as it was meant to do, and the air blew on by.  The first sorcerer leapt up, proclaiming his blade the better, but the judge shook his head and declared the second sword the greater, for it sliced all that it must and let the rest pass in peace.
Thus, it is held that when the Kingsword split, so did its enchantments.  The first sword is the cursed blade, and the second the blessed one.
Vysovan Bolts - non-extant
the dragon-slaying type of arrow...
The Codex of --- - extant (sort of)
A grimoire of like all magical knowledge.  asp the arrington kings sought to destroy it during their war on magic.  fearing its permanent loss, the semi-mythological sorcerer, Daerion, is said to have torn it into many magically-shrouded and -protected pieces, according to him, destroying it in order that it could never be destroyed
The --- Stone - extant
offers protection against dragonfire (maybe they put this into the ceiling of their castle or whatever and crowd as many ppl inside as possible and that’s how/part of how they escape at the end of s1/beginning of s2
The Ring of Tarsys - extant
allows you to teleport within a certain radius.  maybe cedric is using this (bc a teleporting archer would admittedly work great in a battle when you’ve got only one) to fight and to gather ppl into the above protected castle when he sees roran and ends up dying for him or whatever and that’s why roran blames himself??
Daerion’s Mantle - extant
ur standard cloak of invisibility

The Amulet of Ramos - extant
said to have originated in the other continent, its a protective talisman and/or can sense/trace magic
The Mirrors of Mithrim the Lesser - extant
scrying glasses that can look into e/o and/or like one can see like ur greatest love and the other your greatest hate or smth idk
The Gem(s) of Vyrdin - extant

Tyrnhelm - extant
a helm/circlet/band that enables the wearer to take up another visage
Adamant(ine) - non?extant?
the strongest material/metal in the universe -- stolen directly from irl legend.  anyway, it def used to exist at the v least, but im thinking it possibly only exists now in the remaining items that were forged out of it in the Age of Heroes/Legend/Myths/Pre-Historic Era when it was plentiful, or whatever
