Did an experiment with dinner tonight: the recipe said prep was 15 minutes, so I used the stopwatch on my phone to see how long it took me to get it in the oven. Now, granted I'm very slow with a knife and I had to grate the cheese on a microplane, but still. It took me 53 minutes! That's 38 minutes longer!

I made Impossible Cheeseburger pie.

Some of the top layer came out of the parchment, I think that's the impossible part. I lost the website where I got the recipe, but I changed it a lot, so if you want me to post it, just let me know.

You may not want my version, though, because I think the top part (Bisquick, eggs & milk) was supposed to seep down and make a sort of crust. Instead I have a layer of delicious cooked ground beef with cheese & spices, and a kind of eggy bun layer on top. Tastes good, though!

extremely important birthday update this is not a drill i received sofubi finger puppet bandee figurine!!!! i have had my eye on this one for some time but it's been very hard to get in my country!

i also received other fantastic gifts (including a matching magolor sofubi to go with bandee... of course... 🍎 and a 30th anniversary necklace with the lor's wing on it!) which i may talk about later if folks wouldn't find that annoying, but this is the one i screamed about the most!

hi everyone!! just for fun, i have compiled the different polls in which kuroko no basket or knb characters have been featured in! it has my own commentary, how far characters got, links to poll essays and a bit of art!

That said, I usually make the pies when it's the in-laws' year. I bowed out this year because surgery, but realized Tuesday I could probably handle making pumpkin pies because it's quick and simple. So I made pies. They're in the fridge and I'm definitely having a slice for breakfast.

Life update high ramble

#I fed myself today! :D #it wasn't just junk food either #I ate half a soup!!!! #I feel so much better when I actually have food in my stomach i really gotta remember that it's a different world when you're red #*fed #usually I just eat dinner #or only junk food like snacks #fat people have eating problems tooooo #I don't have an ED but it's hard for me to eat cus of my autism #normal people can eat food they dont like and for some reason I can't #which is more annoying for ME than it sounds #I can be in a house full of food and if it's a bad day and I hyperfixate on a food; it's impossible to eat something else #anyway I'm just proud I got up early and ate :) #it was chicken pot pie with the peas hand removed #highgoblin
