Soap made a thoughtless joke at mess a few weeks ago about you and your new "boy toy" that made Ghost freeze at the table.

"She's a good lass, but working out her "play" muscles, wouldn't ya say, Gaz?" The Scotsman laughed, playfully nudging his friend's shoulder.

Gaz snickered while Soap had to clutch his belly. Price gave a disapproving look to the lads.

"Give it up, boys, leave her alone."

Soap looked at the Captain with an innocent look on his face. "Oh, c'mon! I was messing wi'ya!"

Price shook his head.

Meanwhile, next to him, Ghost went rigid. He had been keeping an eye on you for a while. How could he miss something as important as this?

Ghost's blood relentlessly pumped to his head, making him feel like it was going to implode. The world had started to turn upside down.

The soldier cursed himself for being so ignorant. He had your schedule committed to memory, your address back home, phone number, your family members and even was starting to learn the timings of your menstrual cycle, but he hadn't noticed a potential lover. It's the most significant things he had a fucking blind spot for.

Holding his plate, Ghost rose from the dinner bench.

"Where ya goin', Ghost? Ya barely touched your scran!" Soap called out after him.

Ghost waved him off, scraped his food into the bin and put his plate on a cleaning rack. He left the mess hall with a dark cloud swarming around him.

Ghost wasn't seen for hours.

He had infiltrated your room and stolen your laptop without you realising. He already knew your password and logged in.

Pictures upon pictures of you and this intruder were plastered all over the device and a photo of you two together was the wallpaper. Ghost felt sick to his stomach and could feel his throat start to burn. He stormed through every photo in your gallery, read all of your messages and even saw some.. photos that made his cock stir.

You made a different kind of heat rise to his belly every time he saw you, but actually seeing some of your bare body instead of imagining it made his hands shake a little. To feel his body against yours, his hands around your perfect tits, just the slightest graze of his teeth against your neck..

Soon. Not soon enough, though.

Ghost hadn't learnt it's name, knowing it wasn't going to be around for much longer.

He decided to lift weights for his session and stayed in the gym until you both left. When you walked past the silently raging solider, you smiled and waved.

Ghost felt himself become Simon for a brief moment, letting his heart feel like an inferno in his chest as you acknowledged him. He knew such a small amount of attention from you was pathetic to react so intensely too, but he couldn't stop himself.

When you finally both left, Ghost flipped like a switch and turned back to the cold-hearted bastard he was used to being.

He let you get ahead for a bit and then left the gym with a towel over his shoulder. He'd brewed up a plan while lifting that was guaranteed to get the creature out of the picture and move you closer to his arms.

As soon as nightfall came, Ghost shed every innate trace of his human nature and embraced the waging inferno inside him.

Ghost went to dinner the next day as usual.

The boys exchanged banter and swapped stories as they always did. Ghost ate everything off his plate to avoid suspicion and cleaned up after himself. Then, he walked over to where your partner was sat.

You weren't there by some grace of the gods and Ghost said a silent prayer.

The soldier was well aware how threatening he looked sometimes, but he lived up to his name. Ghost blended into the crowd effortlessly, and cleared his throat when he got to the table.

Your partner turned around and flinched, making Ghost supress a snide chuckle. The man had to raise his eyes to meet Ghost's and scoffed.

"What do you want?"

"I want to talk. Outside," Ghost gestured with his head, keeping his voice low.

The man laughed, rising from his seat. His friends started to laugh and made sounds like they were teenagers. "Fine, let's go."

Ghost led the unsuspecting soldier out of the canteen and down the hallway to a hidden cargo bay. He knew no one would be here and once the soldier had walked into the room, Ghost locked the door.

He slowly turned around, cracking his knuckles.

"Look," The guy said as he raised his hands. "I'm sure we can work this out, whatever it is."

Ghost took a step forward and it took a step back.

"Say a fucking prayer while I'm giving you the chance."

Ghost didn't give him a chance to say anything more; he didn't want to hear another sound but screaming and the flat packing sound of flesh hitting flesh.

The first punch Ghost threw made a sickening crack against the other soldier's jaw. One tooth was already on the floor, and Ghost planned for many more to fall out.

Ghost had the soldier on the floor within seconds, relentlessly smashing his fist into your lover's face, not stopping as he began to choke on blood.

Even through all of the animalistic violence, Ghost could saw flashes of your gentle, soft face in front of his eyes. You smiled sweetly in the haze.

The images only made him punch harder.

For you. You..

"For Y/N.. Y/N.."

He muttered your name under his breath constantly like a madman, like you were his lifeline, his call to arms. At his beck and call. You only needed to say the word and he would gladly do this over and over and over again for you, to anyone, for any reason.

The soldier gripped his arms onto Ghost's with a vice grip, leaving raw, bruising fingerprint marks behind. It would be the last trace of your lover and it would never be seen.

Ghost didn't stop punching even when his opponent was dead. He lay limp on the floor, but darker shades of red kept on creeping around the edges of Ghost's vision, spurring him on.

Ghost returned to the canteen hall with a fresh set of clothes on, but a distant look in his eye. As he sat down at his table, he saw you looking for your lover.

Eventually, you gave up and sat down.

He went on to visit you later that night.

Ghost knocked your door lightly, a foreign touch when compared to earlier.

You opened the door in a long t-shirt, obviously about to go to bed. "Ghost.." You started, but yawned. "Sorry, what's up?"

Ghost shed his skin, slowly becoming Simon once again.

"I know you're worried about your.. partner, but I promise you that it will work out. If you need me.."

Nodding, you leant against your doorframe. "I'm sure he'll turn up somewhere. Thank you for looking out for me, though."

You smiled and Simon felt his heart beat faster. "If you don't want to sleep on your own tonight, I'll sleep on the floor."

A stupid, stupid fucking offer. Who says that?

"I'd like that, actually. But I've got a chair you can sleep on, would be better than the floor for your back, I think."

Simon felt like he was floating as he walked into your room. It's not like it was his first time, but it was his first time with permission.

He shut the door silently behind him and watched as you fished a second pillow and blanket out of your wardrobe. "I brought these from home," You said proudly. "The chair I stole from the library, that's why it's got cushions. Soap helped me with the heist in the middle of the night."

Simon chuckled, taking the pillow from you. You started laughing too and he watched creases appear in the edges of your eyes. It was nice to see you forget about..

He shook his head and moved closer to you, touching your arm with his free hand.

"Y/N.."

You looked into his eyes, hypnotised. "Mm?"

Simon held on to your arm a little tighter and pulled you towards him. He threw the pillow onto your bed and leaned down by your ear.

"You have no idea about the things I would do for you, have done for you, even."

His voice went impossibly low and sent a shiver down your spine. The hairs on your arms stood up on end.

"You don't have a fucking clue of the things I have done to get this close to you."

Simon raised his mask with one hand and kissed the shell of your ear.

He spoke with deliberate precision and slowly, to burn his words onto your pretty head. He hoped you would never forget them.

"I am.. captured by you. The way you walk," He softly bit your ear and kissed over the mark it would leave. "The way you talk, the way you look, at me, especially."

He chuckled lowly, the sound reverberating through your soul.

"I am yours, and you are mine."

Hey y’all- I know I’ve been gone a WHILE lol. Life’s been hectic and fun. Recently had the urge to write. I jotted down some notes; would y’all read this?

Ok so, for context, last night I had a weird dream about this exact scenario and felt the insatiable urge to write it down. It wasn’t Eddie in the dream (it was a diff actor who I literally had never thought about before? Like weird but I imagined Eddie in it when I woke up so here you go):

- Eddie is high key obsessed w you

- But in a cute way? Scary way? You really are unsure

- Like you know he has a crush on you- you’ve known it for years

- He makes it incredibly obvious. He’s a dork, so he’s not great at flirting, but he constantly tells everyone how awesome you are

- Reader is like; really cool? I imagine college age

- Like, he goes around campus just openly being a bit weird but mostly harmless

- Like, shows up to your sporting events (maybe cheer? Volleyball? Softball? Idk man I was a dancer and in colorguard- lmk what yall want) in a t shirt he made- like kinda creepy (but like I said- mostly harmless- just a little odd)

- Rumors spread about how he’s planning to sacrifice you or something

- You find it odd at first, but then you start observing him and see that it’s kinda genuine

- You eventually warm up to him, allowing him to become your friend

- The two are friends for a while, not really hanging out, but like, if he’s somewhere you are (which you eventually realize is more often than not), you’ll make friendly conversation

- He drives you home from class one day bc it’s storming

- Slowly, you start to realize that, while he’s going about it wrong, he’s actually really sweet

- You guys end up at a party

- He’s literally being your scary guard dog (or option b- the one from my dream- he’s making a complete fool of himself saying how cool and awesome and pretty you are. He’s a lil stoned)

- You’re laughing (at him and with him simultaneously) and having a great time

- He offers you a little schweed, and you accept. You two go into a secluded area to smoke

- You have a realization that- man, this guy is kind of adorable

- You lean in to kiss him, but he backs away, mouth hanging open like a fish

- “Stop freaking out so I can kiss you!” You laugh

- “Give me a minute- I need to make sure Im not dead, dying, or somehow overdosing on weed” he said, taking some deep breaths

- “You can’t overdose on weed, jackass.”

- “Yeah well this doesn’t feel real- give me a sec.”

- “I’ll be right here.” You laugh, rubbing his thigh gently

- You kiss and oh my god it is the sweetest and spiciest kiss ever

- Light schmut insues (WHIMPERING)

- He says he loved you during this, then sputters and says you don’t have to say it back or anything- sorry I’m just rambling

- “It’s ok- give me a minute. You’ve known how great I am for a long time, but I’m just learning how great you are now.”

Ok but. more specifically reader with a rough childhood (a lil like sugu.. he def has some sort of daddy/mommy issues i will die on that hill) or some sort of abandonment/trust issues that has a habit of self sabotaging or intentionally distancing themselves. More specifically maybe grown up stsg where they’re a little more mature and have more of a grasp on how to help you better.. maybe reader has a nightmare or something, goes out for a smoke on the balcony etc etc.. sugu meets them out there n. They just have a good old fashioned talk like :( just being honest and vulnerable because it’s late and u just need a hug most of all :(( def ends with him carrying reader back to bed n playing with ur hair until you fall back asleep GODDDD KILL ME NOW ☹️☹️ moments of tenderness/vulnerability are my absolutely favourite thing in writing/shows/etc ESPECIALLY when it’s from characters that usually don’t display those sort of feelings because you just know it means there’s such a strong bond between them…. Can u hear my heart breaking

^^ either this one or reader with trust issues that’s a little cat-like personality wise (which I think fits so beautifully because stsg are the most wolf coded boys ever) who’s fully convinced they’re better off on their own, they don’t need friends or people to rely on. Until they meet stsg!!!!! Because suddenly there are two irritatingly charming losers following you around and worming their way into your heart and you just. Physically cannot bring yourself to deny them, even if it’s a little scary allowing people in. And god i think it would make them feel SO special once you started warming up to them. Allowing satoru to greet you with hugs or pinch ur cheeks… letting sugu baby you a little…… (distant screaming)

perv skz…naturally the first member that comes to mind is jisung 😽 even if he feels a lil guilty abt it hannie cant help but think with his dick instead of his brain sometimes n that results in him doing some things he’s not very proud of. he’s definitely the type to stare very blatantly at any part of your skin that’s exposed especially your chest <3 he doesn’t even mean to but he fully blanks out over smth as subtle as you leaning over in front of him so don’t expect him to process or have any kind of intelligent response to anything you say when he can see even a glimpse of your cleavage, he’s too busy daydreaming abt you petting his head as he sucks on your chest. it’s embarrassing how often he trips/stumbles/runs into things bc he’s so easily distracted and turned on by the most mundane things you do. i also think he’d have a veryyy bad habit of stealing your underwear and using it to get off, esp if you’re apart for long periods of time

minho on the other hand is much better at masking how he feels, it’d be hard to catch him unless he wanted you to (which, knowing lino, he would probably let happen often enough just as an excuse to be punished or create tension hehe) like jisung i can see him being very prone to staring at you, but not necessarily just at your body. more in the sense of observing you w a bit too much intensity and noticing little things you do that drive him crazy for reasons he can’t explain…he’s a bit obsessive. stretching so that your shirt rides up or you let out a soft grunt, tapping your fingers so elegantly he starts imagining them inside of him or roaming all over his body, eating a popsicle or ice cream, crossing your arms in a way that squeezes your chest together, that serious look that forms on your face when you’re concentrating…all seemingly normal behaviors but he cant help the way they get him worked up. lino really likes eye contact so…just lots n lots of staring like he’s fucking you w his eyes and hoping you’ll meet his gaze lmao

as for channie, he’d probably feel the most ashamed abt it out of all the boys but he might still have his moments~ i can’t it out of my mind that he gets insanely turned on by scents (maybe my puppy channie agenda hehe) so his biggest weakness is when you leave your sweaters or hoodies around him. no matter how hard he tries to resist and how guilty he feels abt it, he always ends up burying his face in the garment and feeling his mind go hazy when he takes in your familiar smell. it soothes him and drives him crazy all at once, and when he’s away from you and feeling super desperate, touching himself while surrounded by your sweet, comforting scent is just what he needs to cum embarrassingly fast ♡

hi :3 soooooo which character(s) do you have the most muse/thoughts for and what do you like writing abt them the most?

THATS A GOOD QUESTION! i havent had a lot of time to think abt my characters in a while (´ー｀)

HOWEVER.

i think i end up having a muse for brusli, antemh, or dadevu most of the time. brusli and dadevu more for actual writing, whereas antemh has always just kind of been. a brainworm. hes just kind of always there.

i can see a lot of myself in brusli, antemh, and dadevu. there's a lot of coping mechanisms that have gone into them.

in hindsight, writing antemh was a huge coping mechanism for me growing up (made him ~2013? maybe even 2012), but as ive gotten older and left the environment i was in, hes kind of just turned into a silly lil guy for me. i guess maybe he's still somewhat a reflection of me even now--a guy who, despite having every reason to be bitter and miserable, still persists and stays silly.

to answer the second question, that's what my favorite part of writing him is. i think most people would assume he's pretty much a comic relief character, which wouldnt be wrong, but its easy to see happy-go-lucky characters and assume theyre more two-dimensional than characters who wear their troubles on their sleeve.

this also kind of (realizing as i write) reflects my own experience with being autistic. theres an unintentional assumption on others' parts where they assume, because i'm playful and choose to put on a happy face, that those are my only qualities. it's kind of hard to articulate to non-autistic people, so it's more IYKYK. a common complaint from adult autistic ppl though is we have a hard time getting people to take/treat us seriously like the adults we are, or at least treat us like our age.

brusli has a little bit of my middle school self in her. she's a bit more of a tomboy and she likes girls (which is more of a defining trait in an AU human brusli than troll brusli). a large amount of my brain power is dedicated to brusli/sarlla (sarlla belonging to @beantrolls) ship content because im obsessed w/ their relationship. i'm not sure why, but if i generally had to describe the nature of their relationship (again, this is moreso human au-specific, but there's elements of it in their troll relationship), it's sort of a trans&lesbian inversion of the manic pixie dream girl trope.

what i like about writing brusli is the emotions. when i'm emotionally struggling, she and antemh are usually the characters i turn to, depending on the mood. brusli is a little more visibly Sadgirl on this blog than she is in the comic, mostly because i kind of have her on that Tumblr Truth Serum here, where its assumed that an asker already has a somewhat established relationship with her. otherwise, she would kind of be boring to roleplay here, because canonly, she's alienated herself from most people and doesnt socialize much

Hello!!!! I’m glad you liked the bit of… lore I guess? I don’t know how to call it lol regarding Y/N’s letters! I only went through them briefly, in the aspect of what she must write and what not to keep a low profile, but never really showed what she was writing… and boy, was it sad.

Hinata would be very, very sad. Definitely. She’d first be upset, angry, quickly identifying that her letters are to set up a façade that everything is right, when it’s not. She’ll also be able to find some traces of Y/N being genuine whenever she speaks of the twins or her staff… perhaps. But overall, those clues end up being irrelevant to the fact that Y/N is in danger and needs to be taken out of there as soon as possible.

And her not caring for Naoaki…. Hahahahahah it made me laugh and a bit frustrated tbh, but how is she supposed to know?! yet OMG he's RIGHT THERE.

I did think on various occasions that her acting that way with him might’ve been... reckless, like it could’ve raised some red flags from him and be like “Hinata is acting weird” subsequentially, leading the clan to be further vigilant of her. However, Naoaki doesn’t know what’s up with his clan, and his priority is to help Y/N above anything else so… yeah. I wish she would’ve given him the benefit of the doubt and approached him, doing so on any other occasion I think, when she isn’t there for work and isn’t overworked either lol.

But yeah, she’s tired of all she’s been put through and couldn’t care less of engaging with other people as of right now. To Naoaki’s defense… Hinata didn’t talk to anyone else either, so there’s that 🤭

I’m still surprised the Zen’in weren’t lil bitches about it, they probably didn’t consider their interaction to be that important anyway—since their secrets are safely guarded… at least for now. Kind of. Hinata is still not out of their radar. Hmm. They’re probably thinking on how to not get involved in the crisis since they think so little of non-sorcerers lol.

Now onto Mariya…. I just love causing conflicts with her lmao. You could argue that she’s not doing anything… wrong per se, but man, lies and lack of communication can lead to some pretty terrible misunderstandings and that’s the least of the things I want happening between Y/N’s staff 😭 But essentially Mariya is afraid that speaking out loud of this situation might lead other members of the staff overhearing this, rumors begin to circulate around the house, and she loses her job 💀 It’s not that she doesn’t trust Hitomi, but she’d rather keep it hidden from everyone to avoid these risks. (also, the pain of having disappointed her is too much for her to even contemplate 😭 she cares too much for the sisters, and already gone through something like that with Y/N... no, I can't have her suffering 😭😭)

As for Naoaki… that freaking scene with the grape was like omg…………………………………………………… I wanted to go heavier on the subtle implications, but I was like no ma’am, Y/N pulled away from that one and I don’t think Naoaki would insist after seeing her reject his advancements sooooo maybe for another time 😊 This was also a way to show just how… bold the two had become after the whole Naobito/Naoya/Y/N thing went down, had this been before that, Naoaki would’ve never done something like that.

I can imagine Ranta watching the two from some undisclosed corner frantically hoping that Naoya won’t come out and see them lmao.

Finally… the mystery of whatever Naoya was shoving inside his pocket the chapter before is revealed!

Guess he was listening to what Y/N was telling him, however, for him to suddenly go out and buy them implies another motive behind them… or at least that’s what I intended to write 🤭 Naoya is trying something, to be nicer I guess, but without him taking accountability I don’t think there’s going to be any advancements soon. 😫 He’s still out there having some kind of war with Naoaki, when he should be focusing on Y/N and his marriage!!!!! Well, best wishes to him I guess lol.

WHEN I READ THE ROCK PART, ALL I COULD THINK OF WAS LEVI AS ELMO

“No offence, Kirstein but you look like someone who will be in Military Police.” You mused, leaning against a nearby tree.

“Is it because he looks like the horse on their jackets?” Connie piped up from behind a wobbling crate that he was struggling to carry.

“Shut up, baldy!” Jean snarled, dropping his own crate in indignation before whipping his head at you to nervously demand an explanation. “Wait, uh, what do you mean by that?”

“Well, when Jaeger was talking about you and the other 104th cadets, the way he described your personality wasn't exactly... you know, pleasant.” You shrugged, pushing yourself off the tree and lifting twice the amount of containers that they did.

Connie and the other few cadets who are helping with transferring the supplies stared at you in bewilderment as you nonchalantly toss the heavy materials around without breaking a sweat. They started thinking if you actually need their help at all. Truthfully, most of the soldiers just volunteered because it was you who asked.

They seem to hold you in high regard and they weren't wrong to do so. Not only you are one of humanity's aces, but you are also approachable. You are the only superior that doesn't totally scare them off. Granted that a part of you was still intimidating but at least you don't look like you're going to use them as titan baits— not like you'll need it.

“Damn, must be nice being gifted.” One of the soldiers from the back mumbled, earning an elbow to the side from his companion.

You craned your head to the side and stared in their direction and squinted. It looked like you were glaring at them.

“Hn?”

“W– We're sorry, squad leader!” The two men saluted clumsily before scurrying away.

“Huh?” You briefly wondered what those two were apologizing about before staring again at the purple butterfly that flew by, its colour was rare.

“Is he trying to ruin my image or something?” Jean continued to press, scowling at the mere thought of Eren's existence and ignoring everything else.

“Calm down, Jean, s'not like Eren will say anything wrong.” Connie teased, trying to keep himself from snickering which earned him a nasty glare from the other male.

“Don't short circuit on it.” You snorted, amused at the two younger soldiers.

“That bastard! What could he have possibly said about me?!” Jean continued to fume, determined to defend himself in front of a very admirable superior.

“Dunno, can't remember it well. Hey, you both, are you done over there?!”

Jean's jaw dropped. He wanted to clear his name and image because he doesn't want a bad impression on you, and honestly, who would? But then you simply turned away from him and went back to your task as if it didn't matter and he's not sure if that's a good or bad thing.

“Yes, ma'am!” Two female soldiers enthusiastically replied, happy to be acknowledged and not scolded.

You gave them a grateful smirk and checked your list of inventory to wrap things up. Frankly, you meant no harm to Kirstein. You did not care about what you heard about him because you want to see his character on your own before judging him. You just tried to stir a reaction because Levi often complained about how Kirstein and Jaeger have petty, childish fights.

“Go back to work already.” You ordered at the duo of Jean and Connie.

And speaking of Levi, the man was walking towards you and ignoring all other cadets who proudly saluted at him. The cadets felt giddy. They're not only seeing one super-soldier but two. Some stared at Levi in awe but most were full of fear. You waved at the approaching man with your clipboard, meeting him halfway.

“Hey, what're you here for?” You smiled at him, placing the checklist on top of a nearby crate.

“You didn't eat breakfast earlier. We're going to the mess hall for early lunch.” He flatly said, leaving no room for protest.

“Eh? We're not done yet though.” You reasoned. “Don't worry, we're almost finished—”

“These brats can do a task as basic as this. And if they can't, they'll be sent to the fields.” Levi fixed his emotionless stare at the frozen cadets who watched the two of you interact.

“Well, probably but...” You pursed your lips and looked at your group of soldiers, too.

You know they're trustworthy enough but you don't want to dump your job at them. The others noticed your unease and decided to shout their own assurances.

“We'll be fine, Squad Leader [Last Name]!”

“Yeah, don't worry about us!”

“We will do our best!”

“Scout's honour!”

Levi stared down at you with a look that said ‘I told you so’.

“Fine, fine.” You gave in, rolling your eyes playfully. “Kirstein, I'm leaving you in charge.”

“Holy shi— I mean— Yes, ma'am!” Jean saluted stiffly, turning around proudly and trying not to seem too boastful in front of two superiors.

You turned your back at the cadets with Levi, giving one last wave before walking away together.

When the two of you were far enough to have privacy, you reached out a hand to grasp at the cuff of his sleeve softly. You touched your cheek on his shoulder and looked at him with your doe eyes.

“You're so mean to our fellow soldiers sometimes.” You spoke, speech slightly slurred with the way your cheek was pressed against him.

Levi rolled his eyes and shook off your hand that held his sleeve. As painfully adorable as your quirk of holding his sleeves, he wanted to hold your hand. He replaced the sleeve with his own palm instead and you immediately intertwined your fingers together.

“Those idiots won't do a decent job if you don't get strict with them. They're being too comfortable.” Levi scoffed, letting you swing your hand with his.

“Hmm, I guess so. Say, do you think butterflies— ack!” Your random question was cut off when you tripped on grass, a grass (which was your way of defending yourself because you totally didn't trip over your own feet), and face-planting straight on the soil when accidentally let go of Levi's hand.

“Oi, are you alright? Damn idiot.” Your dark-haired companion hid the slight panic in his voice well because he is, unfortunately, used to something like this.

You didn't answer him. Levi stared. You laid there for a couple more seconds. Levi crouched down to check if you hit your head that hard. Suddenly, you brought yourself up quickly, your head nearly hitting him square on the jaw if he hadn't reacted fast enough.

“Hey, do you think butterflies fly at petals because they look like other butterflies waiting for their soulmates?” You asked, seemingly more excited than before like nothing happened, like you were just really lying on your stomach on a soft patch of grass cozily.

Levi breathed deeply and suppressed the urge to rub his temples. You two are far from being butterflies yet he found you without waiting. Maybe you are a pretty butterfly so you came to him. He won't tell you that though.

“Dumbass, they're not attracted to the petals. They come to flowers for pollen and nectar.” Levi stated, actually unsure of his answer because he didn't have the privilege of education as a kid before turning his back to you and continued walking. “Now, come on, we're wasting time.”

“Eh?” You just blinked at his retreating form.

You didn't follow him. You didn't even stand up. Instead, your focus was caught by something that for some reason, stood out in your eyes. You grabbed the little thing and held it under the sun, smiling at its appearance.

Levi who slowed down his walking so you'll be able to catch up immediately noticed that you didn't follow him fast enough. And then his [Name] senses told him that you weren't planning on catching up to him anytime soon. He exasperatedly trudged back to where you were and saw you crouching on the grass. Levi narrowed his eyes.

“[Name], get off the ground. It's filthy— is that a fucking rock?”

He momentarily paused in his steps, face contorting incredulously. You fully faced him and held out the object in front of you to show that it is, in fact, not a rock but a stone. A pretty one at that.

Levi stared at the rock in your hand, then back at your face with his mouth slightly agape. He blinked once, twice, and finally decided to compose himself. He raised a brow, jaw almost opening again because he still can't believe what is happening and raised a brow to ask why, why do you have a rock?

“...”

“...”

“...It's smooth.” You mumbled, answering his unasked query as you clutched the stone almost shyly. “Plus the colour's nice. It's got white specks in it.”

“That's dirty.” Levi sighed, already knowing there's no winning this nonexistent argument.

“It's okay, I can wash it.” You declared proudly, earning a facepalm from the man.

“[Name].” He called sternly but it didn't affect you at all.

“Yeah?” You just tilted your head so innocently while petting that stupid rock and Levi wanted nothing but to swallow it so you'll stop giving it attention.

No, he's not jealous of a rock. That's fucking dumb. But if it meant wasting your precious time that he managed to stole from working with other cadets, he's not going to have it.

“Get up already.” He strongly clasped your wrist and pulled you up with enough force so you won't be able to resist but not enough to hurt you.

“Oof!”

And not to yours and Levi's surprise, your feet caught on another... grass. Once again, you lose your balance but instead of soil, you landed straight onto Levi's toned chest that you could feel under his clothes. He caught you with ease, wrapping his arms perfectly around your waist to secure you.

“Hi.” You greeted, chin resting on his chest as you hugged him back.

“Klutz.” Levi rolled his eyes while his lips formed a small smile as he pats your head.

He gently pushed you off of him but didn't let go of your hand. Funnily enough, it was the hand that still holds the dumb rock. Levi opened your palm and almost scrunched his nose at the sight of the object. Never had he been so infuriated over something so insignificant.

“You're really going to keep that thing?” He grimaced, glaring at the rock in disgust.

“No.” You answered shortly and Levi was about to sigh in relief until you started speaking again. “You are.”

You left the stone in his hand. He stood there frozen, and if you weren't you, he would've thrown it at your face. But because you're [Name], all he wants to do is forget about that stupid rock and kiss your stupidly cute face—

“It reminds me of the colour of your eyes.” You admitted with a tiny grin, tilting your head slightly on the side.

Levi's grey eyes widened a fraction for a split second before clicking his tongue and turning his head away from you so quickly, you thought he might crack his neck. You nearly squealed when he grasped your wrist once more and started dragging you to the mess hall without a word.

You didn't dare ask him anything because you know Levi didn't like to talk. But that didn't stop you from wondering what the hell has gotten into him that he speed-walked out of nowhere. Meanwhile, Levi just refused to let you see the heat that somehow travelled to his face. You've done far cheesier things, unknowingly and not, he should be used to this. So he doesn't know why in the world is he flustered now.

Levi wanted to laugh. You're stupid. The rock, no, the stone is stupid. And he, too, is stupid— stupidly in love with you, that is.
