Kinda got a love/hate relationship with the history of K/S because it's like. Can I please have a queer discussion about this 1960s television show without it being reduced to "shipper discourse". I thought Spock and Kirk were homo long before I knew that their characters spawned a fanfiction counterculture. Taekookers being nasty af towards Jimin and Jkkrs are very wierd to Tae. I saw many jkkrs here saying they are not same as tkkrs..yes I agree. But, if we look back to 6-7 years before Taekookers were not nasty like this to JM. Slowly all those conspiracy theories piled up + lack of Tkk moments made them Rabid shippers.

Jkkrs are at starting stage. Just a few years before Jkkrs didn't had any problems with tae nor tkk, if anything they were happy when JM made Tkk rekindle their friendship. But now they have some conspiracy theory + lack of Jkk moments which made them to be wierd to Tae. Unlike last year, this year they got brave enough to publicly post it on their main acct. So Maybe after 1-2 years we will see Jkkrs turning to rabit shippers as well.

None of us know Tae or JM or Jk than they knows each other. I LOVE LOVE LOVE THE HECK OUT OF JM. the thing with mitsuki is that he’s a little.. flat (not like in a doylist way). make no mistake he’s got layers plus promising potentials — but they’re quite untapped (<- boruto knows this). mitsuki’s aware of it too, in that thought he’d be just fine as long as he’s got his sun. him being thankful to eida that he got to know what it’s like to experience “love” i think was a breach in this constant. the omnipotence intervention literally kind of meddled with mitsuki’s code to the point it kickstarted his development toward becoming more human. idk where im going with this lmao sorry i’m just ecstatic to see him get development in the manga. shoutout to the few normal mitsuki fans who’ve waited years for this i guess

people don't owe you their trauma, and that includes if they write more sensitive or taboo topics.

plus, oftentimes, both glorified and realistic can be mixed on the internet, especially in fanfiction spaces, so it's unlikely a hypothetical kid will only find the fetishized violence or incest or whatever.

i'm not taking sides, to be clear, and this post is literally just fueled with the frustration of seeing the decline of media literacy, but like... at some point you have to remember people exist beyond that piece of media and you have no idea who they actually are, what they've been through, or even if they actually want or believe what they write or illustrate in their stories.
