A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

♡ Mitsuhide is very affectionate but only subtly when in public. I say subtly, that's a lie, but it is more toned down than in private

♡ He very much enjoys getting a reaction from you so his words and touches are always very teasing and said to fluster you though this is how he shows that he cares for you when in public

♡ He doesn't like the risk of someone attempting to use you against him so he's less touchy and outwardly affectionate when you're outside of the castle though there are subtle gestures that he does that indicate that he's thinking about you

♡ Mindlessly holding you close to him by your waist or a hand ghosting rather close to yours when you're walking beside each other, the way that he shows his affection is just by being near you, his words and actions coming as a close second which play a larger part when the two of you are out of the public eye

♡ He's one to only really give you affection if he's feeling particularly needy or just misses your presence but prefers to have you initiate any physical contact or direct statements of your attention for each other

♡ It isn't that he doesn't want your affection, he's simply unused to being so vulnerable as to openly show to you that he wants you close to him or needs to tell you that he cares for you so he settles for round about ways of doing so

♡ Light lingering touches which have you leaning into his touch before he pulls away, "I love you" just about on his lips but slipping out in a different manner. His favourite way to receive your affection is in knowing that you want his affection in all actuality, a kind of reassurance to him that you won't pull away

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

♡ Actually does really well around children. That isn't to say that he doesn't scare some of them a little bit- whether on purpose just to mess with them or by accident because he's just like that is up to you- but he's really good with them despite not really taking an active part in looking after any kids

♡ He has a serious soft spot for them but not in the way that would make him particularly doting unless it was his own kid

♡ He mostly worries about them because of the time that they're in and doesn't openly display any kind of opinion nor feeling towards or about them unless to tease or throw someone off

♡ Despite this, he actually does care about them a lot. He absolutely hates the idea of a child ever getting injured and is so so protective if a child is ever put into his care for whatever insane reason

♡ Again, not protective in the upfront doting way but more in the stands near them with that one smile and scares the life out of anyone and everything that goes near the kid with any potentially harmful intentions

♡ If it was your/ his own kid however, whole different story. So openly affectionate in the teasing way towards them and he genuinely does so much to support them whether it be teach them or protect them but it adamant that they keep away from the battlefield in any capacity until they're considerably older

♡ Really just wants them to stay a kid forever and is so inwardly emotional about the fact that they'll one day grow up. Not like he'd ever let them forget about him, I mean, who can?

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

♡ Every little detail about you is ingrained into his memory

♡ Whether it be something embarrassing or something that you just said in passing, he keeps it stored away to use later even if tis not in the forefront of his mind and something needs to happen or someone needs to say something for him to fully remember it

♡ Honestly he just wants to know you better despite you knowing virtually nothing about him all of the time because he prefers giving out information like you're in some kind of game where things about him are quest rewards

♡ Specifically loves to bring up mildly embarrassing things about you though half to tease you and have because he usually finds them endearing. You'd think that he only remembered the embarrassing parts of you

♡ Likes to bring up things you've told it when you'd least expect him to remember. Full of surprises this man is

♡ When you're homesick he might bring up the shop you'd told him about that sold a really nice dessert that you'd only mentioned once or a park that you brought up a few times to allow you to indulge so that the feeling becomes fonder, if he's buying you a gift, he'll recall the items that your eyes linger on when you're out with him and the colours that you said that you thought suited you the most and so on

♡ Also has a habit of keeping advice you'd given him vaguely in the forefront of his mind, even things that you'd thought had had no effect on him or helped him and has a tendency to repeat things that you've told him back to you when you need the same advice that you'd given him

♡ But the memories he keeps the closest are the ones that remind him how much he loves you, be it morning's that he's woken up and had you clinging to him in your sleep or all of the times that you've tried to make him something nice so that he might be able to at least smell it and indulge in that rather than the taste

♡ Everything about you is so important to him and it would pain him to have to let any of these things go

R = Remember (What is their favourite moment in your relationship?)

♡ One day when he had woken up beside you

♡ He always woke up before you and would always spend a moment just lying there to take in the fact that you really were beside him, comfortable there, something that he never would have associated with someone who was associated in any way with him

♡ He had taken a moment to recall various memories that he had shared with you, good and bad

♡ The times he had made you cry or scared you, the times that you had stood up for him for reasons that he still couldn't really fathom

♡ Somehow those moments had all led up to that one

♡ You, the mysterious individual from the future that had saved Nobunaga and then later saved him, the one that would get mouthy with him and get quiet at his teasing, who would call him out on his wrong doings but still defend him whenever anyone bad mouthed him

♡ You who's emotions and thoughts he could ready plainly on your face and yet were the one person that he could never fully understand and yet managed to understand him so well. You who didn't hesitate to trust him and now slept beside him so soundly

♡ The moment is so peaceful and he doesn't want to let go of it, the memory tucked away in his mind so he can recall the warmth that he felt in his heart

Sasuke

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?

♡ Sasuke's main way to show affection is through acts of service and quality time and sometimes physical affection

♡ He loves being able to do things for you but more importantly with you. He finds an inherent sense of intimacy in just being with the person you love and care about and doing things for them to show that you care or remember them

♡ He just finds small acts to be really significant though that may be because of the fact that he's always had to be so low-key due to being an enemy ninja

♡ You return to your room and find your hair accessories or jewellery that you were rushing with put away or a small box of sweets or snacks hidden away somewhere he knows that you'll find it to make sure that you eat and each time you'll find a letter hidden in the ceiling from him

♡ He genuinely likes helping you shop and carry things, even if it risks him being caught since he's with you. He likes being the one that you can and do rely on because he values that kind of trust which often times only comes when there is a prior friendship which he values just as much

♡ That and he's also sometimes clumsy with words that aren't scientific and non meme or punny flirting though he adores being able to get you to laugh or blush like that

♡ Not to mention being able to hold you and kiss you. That's also very special to him and he would certainly do it more often if he had the time with you to do so. He's a little dramatic about it to himself at times and gets himself flustered in doing so sometimes but it's sweet and he feels like he can care for and protect you better when he's has you close to him

♡ He really just shows his affection through a mix of things as a whole. After all, he's a very adaptive ninja who's got more than enough love to give

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

♡ He doesn't dislike them by any means but he doesn't go actively surrounding himself with children

♡ He just gets confused and doesn't really know what to do around them since he is, or was, a university student studying quantum physics and they are, well, children who are entertaining themselves by writing their names in the ground with the biggest sticks they can find

♡ He manages just fine with them in the end if you give him a minute or so to adjust since he's always more than happy to be childish and be fascinated with trees because let's be honest he doesn't really get the chance to just look at the trees too often but sometimes just sits with them around him looking very much lost

♡ The best thing to do is leave him to kids at night when they need to go to sleep

♡ He just knows exactly what to do when it comes to getting them to fall asleep

♡ A blanket, stories from the future and the moon way up high above whole he tells stories is a hushed tone and tells them about the stars until their fascination and questions wear them out

♡ He's best with them when they have or need to have less energy. He just can't keep up with all of tb energy that kids have sometimes

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

♡ His memory isn't perfect and he won't remember every little thing you say but he remembers a fair chunk of the things you do and tell him, mostly things that he feels are important or just significant in some way

♡ Tends to mostly remember things about your life in the future though because he relates to it more. They all resonate with him in some way so they all kind of just stick and he likes to bond over these little things with you

♡ Remembers the things that people usually know about each other in the future for sure. He's kind of just still used to acting in the same way that he would then with you now and definitely has things like your favourite colours, foods and what your friends were like in primary school even if he doesn't remember their names

♡ Like, it's almost a given that the two of you have stayed up with each other one night when the neither of you could sleep and asked each other random questions like that, indulging with each other in things that the two of you have in common having both come from the future

♡ He does like to be somewhat sneaky about letting you know that he remembers these things though. If you mentioned that you liked letters and recieving and writing them for no other reason than just because you could, he's leaving you little letters between fabrics that you mentioned you were going to use for a comission and things like that

♡ There are certain little things that just stand out in his mind and he, as the resourceful and wonderful ninja he is, will make sure of them to lift your mood whenever you need it

R = Remember (What is their favourite moment in your relationship?

♡ When you return back to the Sengoku period together

♡ While it also involved some element of his joy to return back to the people that he considered friends and family and with you no less, there was also the fact that you had both agreed

♡ You had both wanted to return to the future with one another and now you both wanted to go back to the past

♡ A place that both of you missed along side the people that were there and the memories that you shared. To was an experience that the two of you shared with each other

♡ He isn't sure when his liking for sharing things with you or doing things together with you began but in that moment he feels it again

♡ A warmth that resonates from the fact that it was something that you both wanted and meant something to the both of you

♡ He's never really felt like he'd understood you more than in that moment despite the two of you being so similar in where you came from and what you went through which is why it means so much to him

♡ The relationship between his wants and your and his feelings and yours. It just makes him feel understood and seen in a way that he wasn't used to which is why it's his favourite memory

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?

♡ A gentleman through and through, he's rather subtle, or, for a better term, modest and toned down, with his displays of affection

♡ As much as he would love nothing more than to be able to hold you close and kiss you senseless every second that it's possible, he does need to keep up appearances and prevent you from having your cheeks permanently heated up

♡ He knows full well the affect of his words and actions and, as much as he loves to hold you, there's a special place in his heart for gift giving and using his words to let you know directly without question how much you mean to him. Words hold a certain kind of gravity to him after living for so long and saying something with so much honestly means a lot to him because of how easily words can be twisted and how easy it is to say something that one doesn't mean

♡ To trust a person's word is to put a special kind of trust in them and the fact that you put that trust in him has him over the moon so his carefully chosen honeyed words, either falling from his lips or written out elegantly on a paper attached to a gift, are a very common staple in your life with him

♡ As much as you have a myriad of letters kept safely in your room, the amounts of gifts you get from him is highly expansive

♡ It's his way of showing you, without saying anything, that he was thinking about you while out

♡ A brief thought of how you told him that you liked a certain type of fabric while he's outside and sees it displayed in a shop and he's already off to buy it

♡ He's perhaps, well, definitely, a little over the top but you're always on his mind

♡ The gifts are used to show that when his words or time don't

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

♡ Look a him and tell me he doesn't love children. The residents don't count but he loves them too

♡ He spoils then so much whenever any are put into his care or the care of a friend and kids love him for it

♡ He loves to see them happy because he knows that it's best for them to enjoy their lives, at least while they're still innocent and oblivious. They're just so endearing and full of life, even the quiet ones that prefer to sit on their own have their own soft air around them and he's rendered helpless to all of their requests for a time

♡ They will get anything they ask for until he manages to compose himself which takes a while. This will never happen if it's his own kid and he will insist that it will cause him pain not to spoil them and give them anything in the world

♡ He's used to being around adults more than children obviously but knows how to take care of them really well and is able to manage it perfectly, though with Sebastian's help

♡ When he is taking care of a kid, he likes having them around him for as long as if possible. He just finds them adorable, another reason to adore and admire mortality because they experience their lives differently to how a pureblood child would. They enjoy it like they have all the time in the world and he wants to help then experience anything they want

♡ Even if the children are only with him for a short time, he likes to teach them little things and facts that he's picked up across his life and they just continue to gravitate towards him

♡ Very few things make him happier than seeing a kid smile at him or someone he's close with. It's just something to precious to him

♡ Like Mitsuhide, he remembers everything but with even more accuracy

♡ It's perhaps a habit that he picked up; to fixate on the things that he found himself enamoured with so that he wouldn't miss a single second of it

♡ Of course, all memories fade or at least become muddled when you live for as long as he does but the memories he has with you are memories that he likes to keep in the forefront of his mind

♡ Mortality is a very fleeting things so, as long as there's the potential for you to disappear, every single memory he makes with you or to do with you stays safely stored in his mind and this doesn't go away even when you join him in immortality

♡ He recalls everything about you in either state

♡ Anything that he can use to make you happy and lift your mood. Your favourite colours, fabrics, designs- perhaps he did fixate a tad bit on gifts- but also your favourite foods, what your life was like before you had decided to stay with him in the mansion, how you like to spend your free time

♡ Even the insignificant things like the name of your best friend stay with him because it's you that have told him

♡ Anything about you is significant and, while he isn't scared to lose it, he feels closer to you in knowing that he knows you so well

R = Remember (What is their favourite moment in your relationship?)

♡ This isn't necessarily your relationship relationship but it is a time in which your initial relationship is being forged so I would say perhaps meeting you for the first time though it would probably be more accurate to say first two meetings

♡ It's rare for him to find himself as fixated on someone as he was you in that moment. It isn't just for anyone that he would return a piece of jewellery that had they had dropped.

♡ He was a gentleman of course but even that was something that was almost unnecessary, especially when trying to keep inconspicuous- despite his clothing- but to seek you out specifically for something that would be deemed insignificant surprised even him and this only progressed

♡ Your gratitude at his help and your smile had him wishing to be a little closer to you, even if he had yet to know you

While he intended to keep a safe distance, you ended up finding your way into his life again or perhaps it was the other way around

♡ He's never been entirely sure if fate was something that he put his faith into but meeting you twice felt more than coincidental

♡ Whether it be for another reason or not, he would be content just to be in your presence, something that he hadn't expected, but he was glad for it

♡ He looks back on the day you had met him fondly. Despite everything that had happened that same night, he was glad that he had met you at all

♡ Even if he did not have you in the same way that he did now, he was glad to have at least met you that once

Hi! It says you’re doing hc requests and your asks are still open, so could you do something for warlords and an MC who is a theatre kid? Singing, dancing, even costumes for her performances? I would live Nobu, Hideyoshi, Shingen, Kenshin, and Mitsunari especially if not everyone. 💖💝

Since in my mind’s eye thinking of this, I picture mc as a highschooler so all these are platonic/fluff and gender neutral (also sorry I am a novice to theater but I know a little so bear with me)

Nobunaga- It’s canon that he knows traditional dance choreography and is probably versed in the arts and entertainment with being the lord of a castle and all, but golly was he surprised when he asked mc to come to his room to interrogate this stranger that popped up out of nowhere. Mc told him everything since he was scaring them, but hearing their stories of their time intrigued him and when he asked what they liked to do in their time, mc lit up and talked about musicals and theater. Now every night he invites mc to his room and in exchange for konpeito they tell him about a play or teach him a song. When mc catches him sneaking in the kitchen he likes to quote Hamilton “If I can prove that I never broke the law, Do you promise not to tell another soul what you saw? No one else was in the room where it happened.” while giving them a piece to silence them as they both snicker and hang out. If mc wanted to host a play, he would snap his fingers and let them do whatever. Make the other warlords participate, give all the fabric access for costumes, make mc the director, have a whole makeshift stage and audience chamber. Anything to make his lil pal smile.

Hideyoshi- When he was suspicious of mc and followed them around, he noticed that they were constantly humming or singing unfamiliar tunes while doing chores and seemed so happy, making his guard go down. When he asked mc about what they were singing, mc lit up and went on a tangent about musicals and it made him warm up to them since they were like an excited kid talking about their passions. When he started inevitably going big brother/ mama hen mode and escorted them around, he often got their tunes stuck in his head. Every time it rained, he would start humming ‘singing in the rain’ and if he saw hills while riding he’d start lightly humming ‘the hills are alive with the sound of music’ because his brain is now hardwired from being classically conditioned by mc to sing/hum along with them. Would always be mc’s audience and supporter if they wanted to host any performances in the castle. If Mitsuhide tries to tease mc about their performances or quirky dances, Hideyoshi is not afraid to pick a fight and defend his new adopted child and their sengoku broadway dreams.

Kenshin- Does not get it or care when mc starts bringing up musicals and plays. “What’s the point if there’s no violence?” “Well, there is one about the French Revolutionary War.” He heard war, he is now intrigued. Mc could only really talk about plays with violence in it to gain his attention, but he got the appeal and liked how people can get creative with murder. Would even catch onto some song quotes, but brings them up in the worst times. The first time mc saw him murder someone, he thought it’d be appropriate to say “He ran into my knife. He ran into my knife 10 times.”, thinking Chicago’s Cell Block Tango would make this modern day teenager brush it off. It did not. When he’s grumpy and doesn’t have sake, pickled plums, or anybody to stab, he asks mc to entertain him with Sasuke acting out fighting scenes in plays, liking a lot of Shakespeare Hamlet and Macbeth but only the violent parts. It makes him happy seeing mc happy, especially when they’re talking about violence, even if its just about a play. Mitsunari- Is really intrigued when mc starts talking about plays and musicals since they’re like stories and poetry from a foreign and distant time. This scholar wants to whip out a scroll every time mc talk about a play or musical so he can record it to read for later. He loves learning about it all. Cats the musical? “Cats can sing in the future?!”. He loves hearing mc sing and dance. They tried getting him to do a dance from Newsies and it ended in a bookshelf collapsing and the sliding door to break over innocent passerby Ieyasu, who further cursed Mitsunari. He would love to help mc rewrite and be a scribe for their new play idea of Azuichi Hamilton Shingen- Wanting to make a nervous mc ease up, he asked them about their favorite hobby or entertainment. Coaxing mc to talk, they started going on a ramble of musicals and plays. He’s hooked on Phantom of the Opera and Grease cuz he’s a romantic at heart and loves the drama and the fluffiness of the Grease story. Obviously mc had to add context due to the time period difference, but he got the gist. Wants to learn the duets of the songs so he and mc can have their dramatic musical outbursts to cut off Yukimura fussing Shingen or make Yuki jump with a “SING ONCE AGAIN WITH ME”. Shingen would kind of be like Hideyoshi but more with a cool uncle vibe. Would brag about mc’s talent of remembering plays and knowing so many songs to sing. Kennyo wants to shrivel away when Shingen goes on a ramble of their amazing adopted teen, thinking that he would’ve been done after Yukimura. Nope, my man trained a warrior, he’s gonna train a performing star.

Ch.9

Warnings: Swearing

Your day started earlier than you would have liked, not that you knew how early seeing as you had no way to tell time other than how high up the sun was. You tried hiding from the filtered sunlight under your blanket, but even with your body completely relaxed, you couldn't seem to fall back to sleep. Your biological clock was telling you it was time to get up, but you'd be damned if you didn't fight it...till your stomach growled.

You groaned in an irritated manner before angrily throwing your blanket off and literally rolling out of your mat. The floor felt nice and cold against your bare skin and you let out a sigh, perhaps if you laid on the wood floor long enough you would drift back to sleep.

The silence was interrupted by another growl from your digestive tract. You huffed and propped your head up with one hand, impatient tapping the your fingers on the hard floor as you thought about what you would eat today. Ieyasu seemed to have forgotten about your medicine since you and Nobunaga departed from the castle to the hot springs, and you had yet to hear that vial substance come up again. Of course it could just be that he deemed you healthy enough to not need it anymore, Ieyasu didn't seem like the forgetful type.

"Milady, are you up?" You recognized Kinu's voice followed by a gentle knock on your door, like she didn't want to wake you if your were still sleeping.

"I'm up, Kinu. Feel free to come in," you didn't move from your laying position on the floor, but you did turn you head to look at your maid when she slid the doors open and stepped in.

"Oh, Milday!" She covered her mouth, "You fell out of your mat," before covering her eyes, "And you're naked!"

You shrugged. Not like it really mattered. It wasn't a long way down from the too of the mat to the floor, just a couple inches, maybe three- tops. "I didn't fall," you groggily corrected her, "I rolled out of bed to try and get myself up, but that was all the energy I had left."

Kinu rushed to your side, "Milady you should have waited!" She took your sarcasm seriously, "I heard you were injured at the hot spring, you should be taking it easy."

"I'm fine Kinu."

"Princess, I don't doubt your strength, but a wound as nasty as what I'd heard shouldn't be taken lightly!"

"Kinu, I'm fine, really."

"Oh! I should go fetch Ieyasu-" she was rambling now.

"Kinu!"

She finally stopped talking and looked towards you, "I'm fine, you can check the wound yourself," you sat up and gave her your back. The maid stepped closer, her eyes narrowing as she searched your skin with skepticism, "Milady, it was isn't nice to play tricks!"

You laughed at her expense, "But I'm not playing a trick on you Kinu, my wound has healed, that's why its gone."

"Ah!" She saw a thin line of pink skin on your lower back, "is that where you were hurt, Milady?"

You raised your head to look and see what she was talking about. It was hard to see but you saw she was pointing in the general area of where you remember being stabbed, "Yes."

She gasped covering her mouth again, "That's remarkable, Princess!"

"Yes," you turned around to face her again, and she tried her best to keep her eyes on yours, "But it's not normal for people to recover from such a wound so quickly, people may suspect something if they see its gone."

Kinu's eyes widened like she realized something, "Right! So we need to keep it a secret!" However her tone made a 180 when she realized something, "Wait! But Lord Ieyasu will probably want to check on you soon!" She gasped and covered her mouth, "How will we hide it from him?!"

"Okay first," you couldn't help but laugh slightly, "You're gonna' have calm down."

Kinu nodded obediently, "Right!"

"And next, I'm going to have to see if I can convince him to let me care for my wound myself again..." you remembered a couple days ago, when you were suffering from having withdrawn from the world, "Which will be tough, given what happened last time."

"Milady," Kinu smiled at you gently, "Why dont we just play it by ear?" She rikted her head slightly to the side, "For now we need to get you something to eat."

You returned her smile and nodded, "Yes," before staggering to your feet and moving towards the door.

"Milady!"

You whipped around to look at your maid just before you reached the door, "Yes?"

"Clothes!"

You looked down at your bare body and huffed, before walking over to your closet to rifle through your many kimonos. You picked one quickly before dressing yourself and storming once more towards your door, "To the kitchen!"

Kinu trailed after you, "Princess perhaps I should get you your food?!"

"Nonsense, Kinu, I'm not helpless."

"I didn't mean it that way, Milady," She quickened her pace to step in front of you, "What I ment is perhaps you should take it easy? People might see you up and about and...spry?"

With a sigh, you gave in, "Fine, but I want to at least come with you."

Kinu smiled and nodded, "Of course, Princess. Follow me!" This was also an excellent opportunity for you to learn where the kitchen was located.

You followed Kinu down the hall and around the numerous twists and turns the castle seemed to have till the two of you ended up in the kitchen. The smell of food cooking immediately hit your nose, and you were never more aware of how much you were starving than now. The kitchen itself was a sight to behold - cooks and chefs running around and cooking various thinks in their pots, pans, and large bowls. You flinched back when a large fire flared in the corner, but the servants seemed to have it under control. You looked around, at a loss for words. You hadn't noticed Kinu leave your side.

You panicked for a moment, and frantically turned around in your spot to try and locate her, and you nearly jumped out of your skin when she called your name from behind you. You whipped around to look at her, and she swiftly stepped back so you wouldn't knock the tray of food out of her hands, "Milady, are you okay?"

You sighed in relief, "Yes, sorry, just thought I lost you for a moment."

Kinu shot you a sympathetic smile and nodded, "Shall we head to the garden, Milady?"

You silently nodded in reply and the both of you exited the kitchen before making your way to the garden, where you sat in the grass surrounded by flowers, as Kinu passed you the tray and spread out a blanket before laying out all the food in front of the both of you. You took in a deep breath, enjoying the fresh air. It was perfect weather outside, not too hot, not too cold, and there was a gentle breeze to help cool you off as you both sat in the sun.

The two of you grabbed a bowl and began eating, enjoying nature and the sounds she provided to fill the silence, till Kinu spoke up, "So what does your kind often eat, Milady?"

You perked up slightly, raising a brow to look at her through the corner of your eyes before you let out a small fit of giggles, "A lot more than this."

Kinu looked at you, slightly wide-eyed and she opened her mouth to say something, but a familiar voice cut her off-

"Well if you ever feel the need to grab a midnight snack, keep an eye out for our castles resident mother hen."

The two of you whipped your heads around to look, only to come face to face with none other than Mitsuhide and his wicked grin. You audibly snarled at him, "What do you want?"

Kinu was a bit taken aback at your display of...abilities? She would have covered her mouth in shock if she didn't have a bowl in her hands.

"Now is that any way to greet the man who just got the others off your trail?" He leaned in closer to your face, as if daring you to do something.

"What?"

He chuckled, moving to stand up straight again when he knew you weren't going to try anything, "I just got out of war council. The others are starting to suspect you." He glared down at you, hoping you would head his warning, "You need to lay low with your dragon antics."

Kinu seemed stunned, however you met his glare with one of your own and didnt break eye contact till the maid next to you spoke up, "Milady?" Kinu could practically feel the tension between the two of you and it made her shake slightly, "I though you said you hadn't told any of them?"

"I didn't," you spoke lowly, "He found out on his own."

The maid shrunk back, if she could disappear I to the ground, she would. For a moment she feared you might turn I to a dragon and rip him to shreds but you didn't.

"Thanks," you nearly spat at the white haired kitsune, "Qhat do you want in return?" You turned you back to him and took a bite to eat, chewing it, and swallowing before opening your mouth to speak again, "I assume I am now indebted to you?"

The sentence made another sly smirk creep on to Mitsuhide's face, "Why, Ryū," he spoke sarcastically, "I hadn't ment that at all, but since you offered so nicely!"

You grit your teeth and growled, shooting a glare at him with your vibrant dragon eyes.

"I'll be sure to collect my debt when the time arises- oh," he moved to walk away but stopped and turned back to the two of you, "Nobunaga ordered you stay at Ieyasu's estate while you heal so he can keep a close eye on you and make sure you weren't poisoned."

"Well that's going to be a problem."

"Oh?" He snickered, "and why is that?"

"There's nothing to keep an eye on, the wound is gone."

"It's true!" Kinu piped up, "I checked on it myself this morning- well I guess technically I didn't mean to look," she was rambling now, "I walked in, and Milday was laying down on the floor naked-"

"Oh she was?" Mitsuhide's interest had peaked.

"Mhm," she nodded, "And I was worried she was feeling ill because she was all sweaty, she looked like a mess, and her cheeks were flushed-"

You quickly put your bowl down and covered her mouth, not sure how far she had been planning to go with her explanation, but she had definitely said enough. Mitsuhide watched your actions and snickered before leaning over you, "Is that true, Ryū? Were you feeling ill? Or perhaps maybe she found you in such a state for a more sinful reason?"

How he was able to read you so well you had no idea, but his questions brought a blush to your cheeks when you remembered last nights...unfortunate events, "It's none of your business!"

"Really?" Mitsuhide extended a hand and gently cupped the side of your face, the gesture made you inhale sharply and a shiver went up your spine. "Your face is getting warm, Ryū," his voice was deep and husky, and it only made things worse. You weren't prepared for the purr that rumbled from your chest, but the sound made both your eyes widen for different reasons - his for having come to a rather interesting conclusion, and yours out of embarrassment.

He hummed, "Tell me," either forgetting poor Kinu was still here or didn't care, "How long has in been since you've been tamed."

You let out a shakey breath at his implications.

"Perhaps that's why you're always so sharp tongued? Or maybe you've never-"

"I am in no way innocent, I can assure you that," you were now taking this as a challenge, and your pride made you have the tendency to not back down. Kinu was eating her rice like she was watching an interesting TV show play out - not that she would have known what a TV was.

You fought the urge to have a go at Mitsuhide right here in the middle of the garden- with Kinu still present. You were still very much riled up from last nights dreams. You glanced towards your maid, having almost forgotten she was there, and shoved Mitsuhide away.

"Another time then," he smirked before walking away.

Once he was out of sight you let out a relieved sigh, "You mention this to no one, Kinu."

"Of course, Milady," she held an impish smile, much like a child who knew a secret no one else did, and she wouldn't be completely wrong. You were going to get back at him - some how, some way.

The two of you quickly finished your meal, Kinu leaving your side to take the dirty dishes back to the kitchen while you stayed in the garden to wait for her.

"Princess," the sound of another familiar voice caught your attention - the voice of someone you currently weren't speaking to.

Hideyoshi sighed when you didn't turn to look at him and he walked closer to you, "Princess."

"I am not speaking to you, so whatever you have to say, you had better say it to Kinu and have her relay the message," you crossed your arms stubbornly.

Hideyoshi frowned, he guessed he deserved that, but at the same time he felt you couldn't claim him. After your first night here, when you broke down infront of him, he had begun to thought that maybe you were trust worthy. Especially when you opened up to him about wanting to go home. For a brief moment he saw a scared little girl who was a victim of circumstance, but as it became more and more evident that you were hiding something, he began to feel manipulated.

"Look," he came around to kneel beside you, "I get that you're angry."

"Oh I'm more than angry," you swiftly turned around to look at him and shoved a finger in his face, "I'm pissed! You know I thought you were a hard ass at first, but after everything you did for me I actually started to think that you might be one of the nice ones. But after what you said yesterday, I take it all back!" You turned around again so you wouldn't have to look at him, "Fuck you, go to hell Hideyoshi!"

Hideyoshi looked genuinely hurt by your words. His brows furrowed, his mouth was slightly agape in shock, and he took a step back as of you had struck him physically. He regained his composure as quickly as he could before clearing his throat to speak, "I came to inform you that Lord Nobunaga has requested you stay with Ieyasu while you heal-"

"Don't bother, Mitsuhide already told me."

"He did?" Hideyoshi paused and blinked, that would explain why he ran into him on the way here, "Well, I'm here to escort you there."

"Yes and I refuse to go, or at the very least, I refuse to go with you." You definitely weren't going to make this easy for him, you heard him sigh in frustration, "Princess."

"Don't call me that!" You turned around and growled at him, "I'm not a princess! I understand you all wanting to keep up appearances in public, but we all know I'm no princess! Make up, cards, jewelry, as nice as I think those things are- it isn't me!" You sighed in an effort to calm yourself, "Besides if I were truly a princess you all would have more trust in me than what you actually do," but before you knew it, you got heated again, "So why dont you let me go?! Why do you keep me here?!"

You hadn't realized you were now walking towards Hideyoshi, and he was stepping back, finding himself unable to speak as he stared into a pair of colorful vibrant eyes with slitted pupils- a stark contrast to what they normally were. The once gentle breeze was now a steady gust of wind, and Hideyoshi no long just thought you were hiding something.

"Kick me out, set me free, turn me loose on the streets- why keep me locked away if you obviously don't want me here?!"

"Princess," he breathed, "Your eyes." As he studied them more, he noticed the glassy look in them. You looked like you, for the second time infront of him, were on the verge of tears from all your spent up anger, frustration, and deep seeded sadness - especially when you recoiled back and held a look of confusion on your face.

You looked around, noticing that you had once again let your emotions get the best of you. You backed away from Hideyoshi, and he attempted to reach out for you, but you bolted so quickly he didnt have the chance to grab you. You could hear him calling your name as you ran out of the garden, and you weren't sure if he chased after you, but you were sure you had easily lost him. Where would you go? What would you do? Skip town? Everything was a blur as you ran off the castle grounds and into the town, you were so distracted you bumped, shoved, and ducked through the crowds of people till you were met with a second set of larger gates. As you approached them you held your hands out and gates flew open - slamming back on to the walls they were attached to, and you kept on running.

It wasn't safe.

You had to go.

Too many people know.

You hadn't intended for anyone to know, not even Sasuke.

Why did you always have to let your emotions get the best of you? That night you saved Nobunaga and the same night when you had Sasuke cornered, each and everytime you hadn't thought about your actions, you just did.

You hadnt noticed that as you were running it began to rain till you stopped in the middle of a field. Your running slowed to a stop and you frantically looked around, not quite sure where you would go. It felt like your head was spinning, you replayed what had just happened with Hideyoshi in you mind over and over, and it brought tears to your eyes. A small sob wracked your body and you fell onto your knees with a crash of thunder.

Fuck that place.

Fuck those people.

You don't need them.

"It's not safe to tto go walking alone outside the town walls. Though I suppose any woman who hangs around that fool Nobunaga wouldn't realize it." A voice you didnt recognize.

"Go away," you hissed, "I'm not in the mood for bullshit," you turned around to look at the stranger and saw a large man wielding a katana slowly making his way towards you.

"Don't scream," he chuckled, "Or do. No one will be able to hear you in the rain."

You growled, glaring at the man with a dark look in your eyes. There was another crash of thunder. Your body language seemed to tense, you weren't sure how you would handle this situation- well you had a few violent ideas, but you refused to act upon them. You mustn't take your anger out on a random bystander.

"You're coming with me," he pointed at you, "And if you don't like it, blame Nobunaga."

"I fail to see how this is the fault of a man who isn't even here right now," you slowly stood to your feet so the man wouldn't perceive you as a threat, "We all make our own decisions in life, no one can truly force us to do something we don't want to."

"Well you don't have a choice."

You stared down the tip of his sword and glared at him. You normally were against taking your anger out on other who had nothing to do with why you were so upset, but for this man, you might just make an exception.

"Don't touch the woman," a chilling voice cut through the sound of rain, and you looked over the mans shoulder to see one of the last people you expected to come looking for you- Ieyasu.

"Hm?" The man whipped around, "That's-!" The man tensed when he saw the blond haired warlord, he scrambled to fix the scarf around his face, before turning back to face you and grabbing you wrist, "We're going. Come quietly."

"Fuck off!" You tried to give an easy tug, more of a warning really.

"Quit struggling!" He tried to yank you along.

"No!" You yanked your hand back harshly, causing your would-be kidnapper to fall to the ground.

"Insolent wench!" He spat mud out from his mouth, "I wont let Nobunaga's concubine get the better of me!"

"Concubine?!" There was obvious rage in your voice, you were fully prepared to tear this man apart, "How dare you!"

"There's no denying it," he stumbled to his feet, finding it slightly difficult to regain his footing in the mud, "You can't fool me!"

He raised his sword in the air to strike you, and you prepared to defend yourself, but when the strange man brought his sword down, Ieyasu leapt infront of you - sword drawn as he parried the attack, "I told you not to touch her."

"Ieyasu?" You were more than just a little suprised. He was also one of the last people you expected to defend you.

"Damn you!" The man yelled out as he staggered back.

You glared at both men from where you stood, "What are you doing here," your voice was firm, obviously having already worked through the shock.

"Bringing you back," he spoke as if it was obvious, "Lord Nobunaga tasked me with the job of watching you while you heal- from that point on, you became my responsibility. Like it or not, your life is in my hands."

You huffed stubbornly.

"If you don't want to die, I suggest you stay right where you are," he was so demanding, you almost didn't recognize him as the one who normally sat quietly during war councils.

"Fine," you could have handled this on your own, but you supposed this was for the best. The more people who knew about you the worse off you would be.

"I dont know what you're hoping to accomplish here," Ieyasu's emerald eyes narrowed and he turned his attention back to the stranger ahead of him, "But you can't have the woman."

The rogue ronin didn't seem to be backing down.

"If you leave immediately, I'll forget about this."

"Well aren't we full of our selves," the stranger taunted, causing a low growl to rumble from your throat, but it was drowned out by a crash of thunder. Raising his sword once more, the man charged toward Ieyasu. However, Ieyasu didnt seem phased, he stood his ground and readied his sword, before swinging it across the blade of your attacker - breaking it in half and causing the man to stumble back.

"We're going back to the castle now." Ieyasu turned to look at you briefly, "Keep up, or I'll leave you behind," before he began to walk away back towards Azuchi.

You rolled your eyes again, and followed him. As your mood lightened, so did the rain and by the time you were both back behind the towns walls, the rain had completely stopped. The both of you were soaked, and even though Ieyasu disnt show it, you were sure he was probably chilled to the bone.

To help or not to help?

He did save you. Even though you didn't need saving.

With a sigh, you hiked up your body temperature and went to stand next to the blond.

It's been a while since I posted something. I just want to let you all know that these last few posts are just me cleaning out my drafts.... I've been inactive for a very long time, but I held on to everything hoping I would regain the muses I once had for these stories. Unfortunately, I haven't, and I don't think I ever will. This story was based off of a Roleplay a couple friends and I had going....or rather, the remainder of it was supposed to be based off our role-play. However, almost a year ago, a member of our friend group passed away, and we have not touched our servers since. I dont think we ever will again. I haven't even picked up ikesen, ikerev, or ikevamp since. There are just too many memories.... This blog will officially fall inactive till further notice. Though, I will keep it up so my stories will always be here for you all to read if you wish. I'm not going to promise I'll come back to it as I don't like making promises I can't keep. Sorry for the long wait and disappointing results, but I really did have fun writing stories for you all while the inspiration lasted. Hágoónee'! (Goodbye)

Ikesen characters as magical girls

ft. oda clan 

a/n- now most people will assume when “magical girls” are mentioned, it’s mostly hmm sailor moon, card captor sakura or magica madoka types…ehhh these hcs are based more on the “pretty cure / precure” category of magical girls. I’m pretty sure some of you may have heard the name of this franchise before. thought i should make this clear before anyone gets confused with the weird hair colour references from early 2000-2010s precure xDD.

warnings- none however beware that this is not proof read

note- when friends are mentioned, it means the oda clan characters

Nobunaga - the blue haired leader

He’d be the unnamed leader of the team 

You know, those blue haired ones ? They’re mostly doing the actual team leading of the magical girls group

His suggestions are always taken into consideration until… Well his teammates are face to face with the evil villains- 

He still tries though….in vain 

Oh and he is in fact the president of his school’s student council

Masamune - the red haired sporty one

The sportiest of ‘em all! 

You’d assume he’s the guy who just absolutely adores baseball or soccer (football)

Nope, very wrong!

This dude here takes his kendou seriously, is part of the club even and practices every afternoon

Extremely loyal to his friends and hates seeing his teammates being hurt 

Butts his heads with Nobunaga plenty times but they’re still amazing friends~

He is also childhood friends with our Mai and is her neighbour!

Hideyoshi - the mature and motherly purple haired  

Side leader of the team who…Well no one listens to xD RIP 

Give the poor guy a raise! He deserves it. And no, his teammates better not call him the paranoid overbearing mother or he will sulk in the corner :( (Mai will always make him feel better though)

It goes something like this: 

“Guys, I’m pretty sure the map says to go follow the straight road” 

“Oh please Hideyoshi, who actually follows instructions?” 

After some time you’ll see the whole bunch with their asses on fire and trying to get the human sized venus fly trap from feeding on them

Vice president of the council (come on, it was obvious)

Mistunari - green haired introverted smartie 

Soft spoken teammate, gets talked over at times by others 

Please don't do that, it hurts his feelings very much 

His friends are ready to beat up anyone who does that though (mostly Masamune and Hideyoshi) 

Spends majority of the time cooped up in the library studying for tests or reading random novels 

He drops fun facts throughout the day like how teachers break their chalk 

Will have the “right fun fact” that will be needed later in the day to defeat a cockroach shaped villain who’s destroying the city and save the day

Whoop whoop 

Mitsuhide - the pastel hair coloured villain turned into a magical girl 

Could also be the prince or soldier of his beloved fallen fantasy other dimensional world and working to save the the current world he’s staying at

People find him super shady…Which is understandable

Especially if he was an ex-villain

Hideyoshi was initially super wary of him until Mitsunari started hanging out with him

The perfect match with Mitsunari, they are somehow besties 

Don't ask why, I make the rules here 

Ieyasu - the other cranky blue haired teammate 

He’s salty all the time 

But is worried about his teammates’ health all the time, even more than Hideyoshi at times but will never tell

Will be arguing with the Mai most of the time, you know how that saying goes

“Those who fight a lot are close friends indeed”

It’s something like that between them 

Does his magical girl duties perfectly, and when he gets hurt? Will hide it until Mai comes over to do first aid…

He will accept begrudgingly

Mai - the pink haired main character and leader

The MVP and the TRUE leader of the team, never let go of her hand 

But also the darling of the team, dontchu dare hurt her AT ALL or else you’ll be seeing very angry magical bros after you with their sparkly outfits and weapons 

And beware to anyone gossiping or talking smack about her friends <.< or SHE'LL be after your asses.

Angry Mai is...scarier than an angry Hideyoshi

Everyone knows her, adores her and looks up to her 

Is kinda that person who’s super famous but they don’t even realise it xD 

Also a sweetheart, always feels like the villains must be given a second chance to follow the right path

Annnnd nobody can top her when it comes to emotional support and caring for her dear friends & teammates

Is too sweet and helpful so she sometimes unknowingly becomes a doormat ;-; to which her friends have to remind THAT NO GURL, remember your worth please

Headcanon: Warlords in a Snowball Fight

In Azuchi…

Nobunaga – Strides through the field of battle, easily packing the snow into efficient weapons. Cooly confident that nobody would dare...  Splat!

Masamune – A snow battle? Bring it on! Runs wildly into action, skidding to a drift, quickly forms lopsided snowballs, and throws them with surprisingly good aim, especially given his blind side. Which… by the way… Splat!

Hideyoshi –  Sets out a list of rules, including, no ice in the middle of your snowball, no throwing snowballs inside the castle, absolutely no running! In the midst of announcing the rules… Splat!

Ieyasu –  Splat! He goes home and locks himself in his panic room with his emotional support sourdough starter.

Mitsunari – An army is made and broken by its organization. Carefully stockpiles snowballs at strategic points throughout Azuchi. Then gets distracted by a new book and forgets to join in the battle.

Ranmaru – Finds Mitsunari’s useful stacks of snowballs, and climbs to the roof, where he systematically picks everyone off, sniper style. Splat!

Keiji – Stands in the center of the field of play, grabbing the closest snow at hand, and throwing it randomly. He’s a dervish. Then he opens his arms wide and yodels, “Who wants to take on the wild child of these war-torn islands, he whose name is sung far and wide, the roguish misfit, Keiji Maeda?”  Splat! Splat! Splat!  

Mitsuhide – Excels at sneaking from hiding spot to hiding spot, surprising victims by popping up out of nowhere and disappearing before they can retaliate. Is also the reason Ieyasu is hiding.

At Kasugayama… things are slightly more dangerous

Kenshin – Instead of snowballs, hurls icicles like spears.

Kanetsugu –  When people complain about flying icicles, tells them they should be honored to receive such attention from the God of War.

Shingen – Organizes Yukimura and Yoshimoto into a team and carefully strategizes the best times and places to attack. Has also built a working snow catapult. In spite of all that, he ends up strangely covered in snow, because, let’s face it, the man looks great in a wet kimono. And out of one.

The Warlords- Dad Headcanon: Shingen Takeda

Hi I am just trying to get my thoughts out as I obsess alone over this series. I am feeling just very domesticated this week and have a ton of headcanons and scenarios about these guys as dads and can't help myself :')) I love them so much

First up is Shingen because I am just in love with the man, unconditionally.

>sweetest girl dad to I'm gonna say 3 princesses.

>Hair bows and flowers and dolls everywhere.

>They practice putting ribbons in his hair right in the middle of war council meetings with Kenshin and his vassals and it doesn't phase him one bit. Makes uncle Yukimura the make up guinea pig though.

>Will go out of his way to have tea with them every day he can.

>His girls are the pride and joy of Kai and he will boast about them to anyone who asks

>Oh boy though are they some warriors.

>Oldest child is stoic and somehow takes after Uncle Lord Kenshin.

>Middle child spends too much time with Yukimura. He's actually very sacred of her. nagging little sister energy.

>Youngest daughter is an absolute monster and Shingen loves it when he isn't the target of her assaults.

"Daddy hold still!" The little girl behind him orders, taking another lock of his hair into her grasps as she tries fitting it into another bow. "You keep messing it up!" Shingen clears his throat, leaning over slightly so his daughter can reach better."Yukimaru, as I was saying... I need you to lead the men before down in order to surprise the Oda forces. We can have them surrounded by-" "Yuki can't do anything until his nails are dry!" The middle girl chimes in, looking up as she blows on Yukimura's freshly painted hands. He grimaces, looking over at Shingen who just sighs once again, continuing. "What do you think, Kenshin?" He asks, looking across to his ally, who was eying Shingen's oldest child suspiciously while she staring at him, wide eyed and unblinking. "Is... she okay?" Kenshin asks, unwilling to break eye contact with her. "Yeah she's fine. that's how she says hi." Shingen waves his hand dismissively, handing his daughter another ribbon to tie into his hair. "Anyways...."

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

♡ He is arguably the most jealous of all of the warlords considering certain events

♡ He's spent so long being scared to lose everyone close to him that he really can't help but feel threatened by anything, no matter how small, that may take you away from him

♡ He trusts in you and the fact that you would never leave, at least after a certain point, but he just doesn't trust anyone else, something that he is subconsciously aware is ridiculous because he trusts all of his soldiers and vassals with his life - quite literally - every few days

♡ He doesn't even like the idea of other people so much as seeing you because he feels so deeply for you

♡ As a result of this, he's worried about how easily other people might find themselves enamoured with you and cannot bear the idea of that ever happening because you are his to love. Not anyone else's

♡ He also knows that other people would want to take you for themselves as a prize since Kenshin is Kenshin and has more than his fair share of people who want everything that he has

♡ He's very open about his jealousy though he'll never actually verbally admit it and will hide you away using his cape whenever he does something like hug or kiss you and will always keep a hand on you, whether it he on your waist, holding your hand, you just always needs to be reassured that your aren't going anywhere at least when his jealousy is more bearable for him

♡ Other times, he will find himself leading you away from a room or just taking you by the hand and taking the two of you away from everyone, keeping the two of you confined so only he can be the one to see you and hear your voice

♡ He knows that he can't - or at least shouldn't - lock you away but it doesn't mean that he doesn't get very tempted to. At times he'll tell you that he wishes that he could just steal you away and keep you, like a bird in a cage

♡ It makes him feel like he'll be able to protect you and he gets this slightly scary far away look in his eyes while he says it but you look at him and he knows that he can’t and shouldn’t push you that far. He could never do that to you again

♡ He's not one to be against getting violent either. There's no number of people who haven't gotten close to losing limbs or lives for getting too close to you. It’s you that gives him the self control not to go that far

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

♡ Nights with Kenshin usually consist of falling asleep before he gets back and then feeling him slip in beside you and have his arms wrap around your form though he does make an effort to be back to you before you're asleep, not being all too fond of the idea of you waiting up for him or him not being near you while you're alone in your room

♡ He spends quite some time just listening to you talk before the both of you change for the night, your voice soothing to him as it's drawn out by the peaceful night and his clear interest in your life and perhaps a cup of sake though he'll often find himself declining the drink when he's with you

♡ A cup of tea will instead often accompany your nights, a nice way to clear your throat and sooth tense muscles while he allows the himself to indulge in your thoughts and feelings and his own

♡ Your voice is perhaps the one thing that he would never get tired of despite the calm state that it lulls him into, a tired smile pulling at his lips as he listens to you and asks the occasional question

♡ It's the only time that you really get to see him so relaxed as you know that the second that you fall asleep he'll be on alert until he finally sleeps himself

♡ This holds true as he holds you oh so gently as you lay beside him and he rubs light circles into your skin as you fall asleep while he stays awake for a little while more, reassuring himself with your steady breathing before he falls asleep himself

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

♡ Kenshin makes an effort to remember everything about you and gets quite frustrated with himself when he can't remember certain details

♡ The way that he ensures that he keeps details about you in his head, even if you don’t notice it, shows a kind if devotion that you will rarely ever see. From the way that his eyes soften but gaze stays strong to take in every bit of you - the direction that you look or the way that your head subconsciously tilts, the way that you react to certain things like smells or sights - to the way that question after question leaves his lips

♡ Less so an actual continuous stream of questions but questions that he knows will get you talking

♡ He knows that he just won't be able to remember everything but he does try because you're important to him and he wants to do things that'll make you happy and avoid things that'll make you sad

♡ As a general rule, he mostly remembers things that affect your mood. He isn't sure why, but he finds himself really attuned to your mood and can tell the little shifts in it (even if he's not sure what emotion it's shifting towards) and ends up relating certain pieces of information with your mood

♡ Anything that makes you smile stays tucked away in the back of his mind along side anything that draws out a visible negative reaction from you

♡ He'll find random tidbits of information and various memories coming to the forefront of his mind whenever your in certain moods as well and it kind of just sticks like that

R = Remember (What is their favourite moment in your relationship?)

♡ When he's finally able to separate you from Ishime (is that how you spell her name?)

♡ It's technically before your relationship but honestly is probably his favourite moment regardless. He doesn't think he could choose one during your relationship

♡ Before that, he'd struggled to be able to allow himself to see you two as two different people. He knew that you both were, he was well aware of it, but occasionally the two of you would merge in his mind and he would find certain fears resurfacing

♡ Ishime wasn't as strong as you nor did she share your mindset and ideas, but it was that fear that kept him from being able to fully differentiate the two of you and your possible fate

♡ It's what he would describe as a show of your strength, the strength of your will, that forces him to realise. He sees you and hears you and not once does the thought is Ishime cross his mind nor her memory

♡ It's like a blurring film had been removed from his eyes and he he's never seen you clearer before and, in all honesty, he hadn't

♡ His fear melts away for a second and he finds himself genuinely feeling free to be around you, without that fear that you'll force yourself away from him

♡ He knows that, in comparison to him, you're delicate, but that thought leaves his mind as he sees you as perhaps stronger than anyone he's ever met before. Someone who keeps surviving in this ear that takes away anything that isn't strong enough to survive

♡ And he adores it. The freedom he feels as he spends that time with him lightens his heart and he really sees you for you and I think that perhaps that was when he really fell

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

♡ Kenshin puts in an almost ridiculous amount of effort into everything but it's genuinely just the regular standard for him

♡ He has a number of responsibilities already and he needs to make sure that he completes them all to a certain standard for the sake of his people so it's only expected that he holds himself to this same standard and then some when it comes to you

♡ He puts you on a pedestal, believing that you only deserve the best, and you truly do, but his best is borderline perfection at least in the actual preparation and domestic regard

♡ Whole he's still getting used to actually consciously doing these things, he catches on very quickly but things like dates and anniversaries are another matter

♡ Like I said, the actual preparation is perfect once it gets down to it but he gets a little antsy about things like gifts and how to actually celebrate things with you and where to take you

♡ He has no experience with these things so he's a little lost but he's got the spirit and the dedication

♡ He'll take note of things you like and incorporate them into activities for you and it's genuinely a very exhausting process but he doesn't seem to mind

♡ He puts in as much effort as he can for you and it shows once you look a little closer

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

♡ You'd think he wouldn't get jealous and it is true that he has the self assurance in himself and trust in you to not to get jealous but there are times where he just needs to keep everyone and everything away from you but that is fairly rare

♡ As a general rule, he sees being overly jealous as something that's unnecessary because he's very goal driven

♡ Because of this, he doesn't really allow himself to feel much that would skew how he sees people or acts so he isn't one to often act on his jealousy either when he does feel it on the rare occasion

♡ Because of his aforementioned confidence in you and himself but also because he doesnt see the feeling as being something that he wants to allow himself to feel because he finds it 'unnecessary' in a sense due to all too much emotional repression

♡ When he is jealous, he honestly just tried to get rid of whatever is making him jealous. His glaring is usually enough to be rid of any unwanted individuals talking to you but he's too prideful to go much further than that

♡ That is unless you count taking your attention and adamantly ignoring whoever he's feeling jealousy until they bring attention to themselves at which point he will dismiss their attempts to talk to you and practically force them to leave

♡ They're not worth either of your time so there's no reason to entertain them at all. He's not necessarily sorry about it either, even when you ask him about it or get upset over his behaviour

♡ He'll make it up to you in whatever way you'll like but he doesn't see what was wrong with what he did and his remorse is nonexistent

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

♡ Kicho is very clearly a person who struggles with sleep, so many nights with him will end with you asleep while he has a few cups of tea to try and get himself to sleep

♡ Like Kenshin, he's often late to come back and late to sleep regardless so you will often find yourself going the night without seeing him though these nights become fewer as time goes on

♡ He strikes me as the kind of person to do a fair bit of self care at night and will share you into this habit, him often being the one to care for your hair and set up a very drowsy atmosphere

♡ He too likes to talk to you before the two of you go to sleep, sharing your experiences and your thoughts about the day

♡ However, they will largely be spent in silence with him as he tries to get you to sleep because he doesn't want you to get too invested in the conversation while you're supposed to be sleeping

♡ It will often become something of a competition to see who can get the other to sleep first for the sake of both of your health's which Kicho will mostly win though he appreciates your efforts

♡ He doesn’t put in any kind of special effort into remembering things about you, he’s just so sure of himself and his memory that he knows that there is no chance that he could forget anything to do with you

♡ The fact that he remembers your favourite foods, fabrics, colours and more seems to be purely by his own will to remember those things even if he doesn’t do so conciously because, a lot of the time, these things will come up briefly or when he’s busy and you happen to mention them in passing

♡ Sometimes even he doesn’t realise that he’s remembered these things and you can see it when he’s tired and has his guard down in the way that his voice trails off when he says something about you and his brows furrow as if he’s trying to confirm to himself whether it’s true

♡ He becomes more sure of himself in these moments when you smile in surprise at the fact that he remembered and it becomes more of a usual thing for him to randomly do things relating to things that you’ve told him like bring you a snack that you said you liked and such

♡ He is also, however, Mitsuhide’s cousin and a certified tease and will remember any time that you’ve tripped, pronounced something miserably wrong, etc, etc and, while he will never say it, he will give you an amused look that conveys that he’s recalling one of those memories whenever you do something that reminds him of them

R = Remember (What is their favourite moment in your relationship?)

♡ He remembers laying beside you, not touching you and the cover that you were both sharing dipping between the two of you while you slept and he fought the urge to get up and work because he wasn’t used to having so much tome as to be able to sleep before the sun was up

♡ It was the first time that you had insisted that he come to sleep as well rather than just accept it when he said that he would ‘in a moment’ and then slept after the sun came up and woke up before you had even risen yourself

♡ He remembers feeling so comfortable for once, like he actually wanted to sleep and indulge for a moment

♡ Like it wasn’t just something that he had to do for the sake of not collapsing half way through the day and he liked it

♡ It made him feel slightly guilty, to indulge in comfort that he usually denied himself, but he remembers how he felt when he slept - so easily when he shut his eyes and the blanket of sleep wrapped around him so quickly - and he doesn’t think he’s ever slept so well in years

♡ It’s a moment that means much more to him than even he expected but the vulnerability that he felt, exposed only to himself with you asleep beside him - not bearing witness to it but your presence still a comfort to him - had him feeling so secure the next morning when he woke up only a little before you and getting to see your tired look of surprise when you say him still beside you

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

♡ He acts like he wouldn't put in much effort but he puts in a lot more effort than you would know, at least for special occasions

♡ Dates, however, a typically a little more on the casual side and whenever the two of you have the time. As much as he wants to make them meaningful, it's a little difficult when you're as busy as he is

♡ He already has a certain standard for every day tasks and this doesn't waver ever so he's always a massive help with domestic tasks

♡ He's quite adept in most areas of domestic living and definitely knows how to cook on accounts of his ideals and his ideas that people should know how to survive, with cooking being a basic survival skill that becomes slightly more enjoyable for him through Motonari

♡ Same applies when it comes to you who he values enough to hold above most of these tasks so he actually does put a lot of effort into planned dates but will brush them off like it was nothing

♡ It was a lot though, he almost always finds himself getting frustrated planning them because it isn't going as he wanted them to but all of those frustrations will leave him if you're happy by the end of it

For each of them I’m going to put 2 alternatives around the end if mc does eventually start feeling feels towards them or if mc just wants to be platonic since grayaromantic is different for everyone and there’s a possibility of either happening and that’s all groovy and either way mc is a Sengoku boss

Nobunaga - When he started to put the moves on mc after inviting them to his chambers, he could tell they were not feeling any sort of way, looking very uncomfortable. He stepped back, commanding mc explain why they refused his command to warm his bed. “Don’t take this personally, but I do not have that desire with you, or with anyone for that matter. I’d like you to respect my wishes. Could I entertain you in any other ways?” He admired mc’s honesty, for not many would refuse the offer of sleeping with the powerful warlord. “Very well then. Have you heard of the game ‘go’?” (He plays Go like a normal person, no strip go like his route). He would treat mc like he does with most of the other warlord’s routes, simple curiosity and admiring mc’s character. Would like to hear stories from mc’s time and would take mc on adventures for entertainment and to just spend time with mc. If mc never produced feelings for him, he wouldn’t be upset in the slightest, he admires mc’s free will and spirit and if it does not desire him, so be it. Would develop a sibling-like relationship with mc, feeling nice to be so close to a sibling figure that isn’t trying to stab him in his sleep. He doesn’t really have genuine connections with anybody that isn’t under his command or without political ties, so it would be nice for him to have an mc that he felt he had an equal human to human relationship with, even if it isn’t romantic. If mc did start to develop feelings, the man’s ego would inflate even higher than it already is. Would feel honored that he earned the trust and affection of mc and wouldn’t take it for granted.

Kenshin - Tbh I feel like he could be labeled as greyaro as well since it’s canon he never felt desire or felt attraction for anyone besides that one time when he was a young teen. So he already relates well with mc and mc feels glad that there’s at least SOME warlords out there that won’t flirt with the first person they see, while he feels a bit relieved that he’s not being harassed or questioned about his lack of romantic desire. It’d feel peaceful for him to just hang out with mc, neither expecting something from the other, just enjoying their presence and simply being there. Would threaten to cut down Shingen if he got too close to mc, knowing it would only make mc uncomfortable. If mc never developed attraction to him, he’d understand and not force any romantic desires onto them. Whether or not he develops feelings for mc, he would still be really protective of them and his mindset would develop more into “this person is precious to me and I do not want to see them hurt whatsoever I will fight a mountain for them”, so more like agape selfless love without any eros romantic love. If mc did start to feel feels for him and he started to feel things for them, it would be a “they don’t normally fall, but when they fall they fall HARD” situation. He would be happy that they both only have eyes for each other and able to feel vulnerable with one another.

Masamune - He would be so confused when he starts flirting with mc and offering a midnight tryst, only to be declined, saying that they don’t feel any desire to do that with anyone so he better not pursue them for that kind of stuff. The man’s top 3 list of things he likes to do is cook, fight, and bang so imagining not having any desire for the 3rd option would be something he couldn’t relate to and would blow his horny mind at first. But he’d accept it with grace and think of another way to entertain himself and mc. He’d still tease and mess around with mc in an innocent childlike way and like to have mc try different foods. Again, since most of these warlords don’t have many genuine friendships that aren’t political based which could turn against one another at any given moment or people that don’t view them as a superior, it would feel nice for him to just have someone around that saw him as the person he is and would like to be his partner in crime in general. He would still playfully flirt with mc, which he does with all the other warlords in general and not in a way that makes anyone uncomfortable, but if mc said it makes them uncomfortable he’d casually reign it back. He doesn’t get hung up or dragged down by much so mc never developing feelings for him is no biggie since he’s a go with the flow, live in the moment rascal. He’s always going to enjoy mc’s company no matter what form that takes. If mc did eventually start to feel attracted to him his flirtiness and ego would go crazy. Would playfully comment “I knew no one could resist me, not even you, kitten.” but would be happy that mc wants to go down a path they don’t really go down with him of all people, making him determined to make that path the greatest adventure ever.

SUITOR'S REACTION WHEN READER GIFTED THEM FLOWERS (Masamune, Shingen, Kenshin, Nobunaga, Ieyasu, Kennyo, Mitsuhide, Mitsunari)

Masamune Date

He was surprised. No one had ever gifted him flowers before, let alone a lass as beautiful as you. When he first saw you with the bouquet, his initial thought was that they were for someone else. His hand found the hilt of his sword, ready for a fight for your love. But then you presented the bouquet to him. He placed the flowers in a vase in his room, a small part of him sad there was no battle for your love.

Shingen Takeda

Shingen was impressed. It was normally he who gifted the flowers, not the other way around. Flattered by your gift, he found himself enjoying this role-reversal, hoping to receive more thoughtful gifts from you in the future. As a thank you, Shingen took one of the blooms, broke off the stem, and tucked the flower behind your ear.

Kenshin Uesugi

Kenshin was afraid. Why were you holding those flowers - did they hurt you in some way? Ready with his trusty sword in hand to cut down the plant that dared harm his love, he blinked in surprise when you laughed and told him the flowers were a gift for him. After sheathing his sword, he asked for your help in putting the flowers in a vase.

Nobunaga Oda

Nobunaga was happy. It was his birthday, after all. After a day of receiving numerous, extravagant gifts, it was refreshing to receive something so beautifully simple from his lover. Or maybe it was because it was from you that it was his favorite gift that day. Now if only you had stashed some konpeito in the bouquet somewhere.

Ieyasu Tokugawa

Kennyo was flattered. What a beautiful gift from his beautiful lover. He marveled over the pastel shades of the petals and the sense of serenity he felt just by looking at them. He placed the flowers in his bedroom (unlike some of the warlords in the Oda forces, Kennyo actually owned a vase) on a table near his bed so that every night when he went to bed, your flowers were the last thing he saw, and when he woke up in the morning, they were the first thing he saw.

Mitsuhide Akechi

Mitsuhide was mischievous. Mitsuhide was not used to receiving gifts, let alone a bouquet of flowers. Was this just an innocent gift? Were you rewarding him for the prank he pulled on Mitsunari the other day? He hoped it was for the latter - he would happily pull any number of pranks to bring a smile to your face.

Mitsunari Ishida

Mitsunari was flustered. Flowers? For him? Was this some kind of prank? (He's still getting over being pranked by Mitsuhide the other day). Once he got over his initial confusion and realized that these flowers were a genuine gift for him, he thanked you profusely for said bouquet. He particularly liked the various shades of purple in the bouquet and found a nice spot to display them in his room.

hi ! Could I request (Ikemen Sengoku) Kenshin's, Mitsuhide's and Yukimura's reaction/scenerio to finding out y/n is pregnant ?? Their first reaction and maybe some afterthoughts , would they prefer girl or boy are they anxious stuff like that ^^

Oh ho...what a surprise.

To be honest, it wouldn't be too shocking that he probably figured out she was pregnant before she did.

He is happy of course, though he will likely focus on teasing her about it.

But inside he is just a little conflicted about being a parent, let alone about whether he would make for a good one. He has no doubt that Y/N will be a splendid mother. Him as a father....debatable.

However, he will resolve to be there for her and take care of her every step of the way, she will want for nothing.

He finds himself deep in thought ever since discovering her pregnancy. Contemplating. Planning. He wants this child to grow up happy and safe, but he also knows life tends to have other plans.

If he had to choose between genders, he'd pick a little girl. He will unabashedly say he'd a little girl to spoil and tease as much as he teases his little mouse.

"Now wouldn't that be fun, hm?"

Kenshin

He...almost doesn't understand what she is talking about?

A child? Inside her? What was it doing there?

Logically he knows how it got there but...

His initial reaction may not be the best, as he is not entirely sure how to take it, not because he necessarily upset, even if he may seem that way at first.

He may come off as sullen or despondent at first, but that's only out of shock and maybe some worry.

He doesn't consider it a bad thing when he settles and actually thinks about it. Truth be told, the more he does think about it, the more he likes the idea of having a child with Y/N. A bit apprehensive but glad, even if he doesn't say as much.

He will feel infinitely more protective of her, being extra picky about who is near, how near they are and for how long. This particularly applies to Shingen.

He will cut any potential threat to her and his unborn child to pieces.

He doesn't think too much about the gender but...perhaps a boy? And then the next baby will be a girl. In that order.

"Why settle for just one of them? We will have both."

Yukimura

Ehhhh!?!

He is broken. Has ceases to function.

He feels as though she is joking at first but no, she is very much carrying a baby.

His baby no less... Well of course its his, there would be no way it could be anyone else's!

Yuki is...losing his mind a little here. He is just short of mentally running around in circles, as though she is already in labour.

Of course he is overjoyed in ways that can't be described. Once the shock has dissipated, he will pick her up and spin her around, his smile capable of lighting up the night sky with it's brightness.

He does worry about being a good father to the baby, but he vows in his heart he will do everything in his power to be there for his child.

He may not mind the gender of the baby, but if asked, he may say he would prefer a girl. If asked why, he may stutter and grumble that he just wants one, avoiding eye contact and his cheeks tinting red a bit.

"...I want her to be as pretty as Y/N..."
