I have my own slight opinion on the Danny Tennessee situation. I really like Danny he’s really funny but like many people I have lost respect for hon recently. I think that they make a cute couple but idk whilst Ten may be gorgeous she does obviously need male validation a large amount of the time.

For me personally if a girl actively pursues a guy who she knows is in a relationship then they loose all respect from me. I also think and this is gonna sound harsh so i’m sorry if anyone disagrees with me but this whole situation has probably made female creators reputation even worse. As lets be honest if Ten was not a stunning as she is Danny’s fanbase would probably not be as behind and supporting the relationship as she is.

As someone who always tries to support female creators, Ten has kinda just really disappointed me. Listen, this reeks of one person pulling "neurosparkly" and "neurospicy" out of a very obscure conversation and going "hmm, this gives me the willies, so it looks like an acceptable target to me!", and I'm already sick of it. This gives me the exact same vibes as that one famous post about transmeds vs transtrenders -- this idea of pinning one form of self-expression against another, in the name of dunking on fellow marginalized people that are giving your demographic "a bad name". To that end, I'd like to remind y'all that the original artist of that post admitted they weren't acting right about trans people that aren't like them, and so I'm hoping we get over this and get over it soon.

Because we cannot keep doing this.

Every. Summer. Every fucking Summer, this website has to put a spotlight on a new group to punch down on. First it was just about every LGBTQIA+ group outside of cis gay men you could imagine -- lesbians, bis/pans, trans people, ace people, non-binary people, people who identify as queer (we're literally all queer, but that's another convo all together), you name it. It literally never stops, you people have to be taught over and over again that, no, this one group isn't okay to target either, that's your family too, you're not better than them for being a different flavor of weird.

Now we're doing this to neurodivergent people? Neurodivergent people. The overwhelming majority of this website. You're gonna try and clown on other neurodivergent people for, what is it, being cringe? I have an odd relationship with my co-worker.

When we came back to the office I kept to myself and never thought about talking to anyone. Until she started talking to me and those who are stuck here all began to get along (myself and two male peers along with her) anyways. . .

I feel like she only became “friends” with me because she has no friends. I mean she does but idk it’s a weird vibe. I’m outspoken and so is she but when I disagree with somthing it’s like she gives me the silent treatment. The other night myself, her, and my male co-worker got in a heated disagreement over the Will Smith incident where he slapped the hell outta Chris Rock. Her defense was that Chris spoke bad on Jada when we all know she did Will wrong so my male co-worker and I were in agreement that he shouldn’t have slapped Chris over something so foolish not to mention JADA DID WILL WRONG. Because of this disagreement she has hardly spoken to me even tho we’ve been alone in the office the past two days and it’s awkward af like I understand you don’t like conflict neither do I but I don’t take things like that personal. Their lives have nothing to do with us. It was a silly thing to even discuss. I get where youre coming from but when we say "women can be evil too" we are not saying that to reinforce misogyny. We're saying that to fight against bioessentialism (whats a woman? Are trans women included? Are trans men? If thats the case when do they start or not?), we're saying that to support victims of sexual violence, emotional violence and physical violence perpetrated by women. We're saying that acknowledge dynamics that happen between privileged women and disenfranchised groups (men of color, queer people esp women, disabled men, etc.). i think we're talking about convos happening in 2 separate spaces bcuz i don't disagree with anything you're saying and i do think there are very important convos to be had about gender dynamics, particularly as they play out irt race- there are the conversations happening in insular progressive spaces about leftists who have swallowed the gender essentialism that man=person who is evil and woman=person who is a victim. this is obviously (trans)misogynistic and a serious problem in progressive spaces, particularly with the ways that white woman hide their role in maintaining white supremacy and deny the access to power they have, granted to them PRECISELY because of that believe of woman=person who is a victim.

that's not what that post was about- it was about this new mainstream fixation on reusing and rehashing misogynistic rhetoric (ex calling women hysterical, baselessly claiming women manipulate and lie in order to fuck over men , saying that the court system favors women, calling women bitches and wh*res and sluts) to claim that feminism has progressed far enough that "now we all believe women are innocent when they can be evil too". the key point is this lie that, outside of insular progressive spaces or racialized power dynamics, there is some sort of widespread public sympathy or respect for women over men.

Your writing is amazing.But I'm having trouble understanding Callie. She's just so ott with her hatred of Arizona. I get that Arizona hurt her deeply, but come on. A isn't inherently untrustworthy in every area of her life, their marriage didn't end just because of A. Years after the divorce & Callie is still showing zero self awareness. Half of this fic is written from Callie's pov, so I find it baffling that there isn't one moment of "we both fucked up" among the relentless hostility towards A

i think this is such a fair critique and i'm totally open to it! i'm gonna try to explain why i specifically wrote it this way using the touchstone points within canon for how i've been characterizing callie so far, so that hopefully you can understand my perspective on how i'm writing her. but i wanna start off by saying i totally get why you think this. i'm just sharing here, not disagreeing!

i really do believe that up until chapter 5, callie has been doing her best to maintain a good relationship with arizona. she hasn't initiated any of their disagreements and she's been consistently reaching out, even when she doesn't realize that that's what she's doing. despite believing that she's avoiding arizona, because at the end of the day callie is so incapable of not seeking arizona out

honestly, it's primarily been arizona who's resistant to them being entirely amicable-- and that's not even coming down to a genuine dislike of callie but tbh we can discuss arizona's mental state at a different time. up until the necklace convo in chapter 5, callie's mostly been responding to arizona initiating little moments of tension. to me, callie hasn't really been relentlessly hostile. she's just human and responding to some deep wounds with bad habits

so! two points i really circle back to as to why callie goes right into that fear mindset immediately after putting such a huge amount of trust in arizona (bringing her in on ava's case) are 10x01 and the custody battle. in 10x01 she's reeling from the immediate aftermath of the cheating and that combination of panic and anger makes her openly question arizona professionally; during the custody battle her personal emotions, all of that residual resentment from the end of their marriage, and her immediate goal to not lose penny make her attack arizona's position as a mother. i will wholeheartedly acknowledge that later in 10x01, she does admit that she respects arizona professionally but that's after the adrenaline fades, after she's already snapped and had time to regret it

the point of both of these examples is that callie has a documented history of letting her personal feelings about arizona cloud her view of arizona as a person and a doctor in the moment, lashing out, and then coming back to herself later once she's had time to reflect. that's the basis for my characterization here

but you're right! it's been years since their divorce, so why should callie fall back into those old habits?

genuinely because she's scared as hell. by bringing arizona in, she's put herself in a really tenuous position where suddenly if anything goes wrong on ava's case, she is personally responsible. this isn’t low stakes for her, this is the life of a child she loves. it's hard to entirely trust anyone in that situation, but with arizona it's so much more complicated already. she's scared and she's reactive, and the necklace conversation just added a little twist of (perceived) betrayal at the worst possible moment.

again, i so welcome different interpretations of callie as a character and i explicitly do not think you're wrong, at all! but i also want to be clear that i'm not pulling random bits of characterization out of thin air to fuel the conflict within KTB. honestly, at its core KTB is a quiet story about human fallibility

arizona has been pushing callie away for months at this point, and callie is feeling that rejection on top of this deep, genuine responsibility and love for ava/gloria. that's going to make her act irrationally

i'm definitely not a perfect author, but i do want y'all to know that i try to base every characterization choice i make in specific canon moments :)

God I’m so upset rn. He’s genuinely so frustrating sometimes and what’s annoying is that he does this on purpose. I hate it. So so much. It’s hard to explain this but he has this amazing moments or days where he’s genuinely the coolest guy ever. We’ll have great convos and everything will be alright and then he’ll just stop. I make the mistake of complimenting him and he does as much as he possibly can to piss me off and it’s annoying bc it works. Fazfuck I’m so annoyed it’s like he tries to push me away but he can’t go all the way. It really sucks. I genuinely like him and I feel like I’m going crazy bc of him. He’ll start an argument over something that even he disagrees with apparently just for the hell of it. Apparently he doesn’t get anything from it. But he does! And he doesn’t want to tell me! And I get so so upset and he knows it. This guy will send me specific songs that he thinks I’ll like and then act like he doesn’t actually care but he does! Every single time! This guy went from being extremely adamant about hating women and telling me that he doesn’t see them as people and now it’s different. I think. A few weeks ago he had a panic attack asking me a bunch of questions about how he would know whether he’s changed. About whether he’ll still be an incel. That’s what he’s worried about. Eventually, yes, they will. Kendis talks to much not to. No, Kendis feels like these kind of topics - and just general conversation period (surprising for Mx. Conceal Don't Feel) - are important basis when starting and CONTINUING a relationship.

And Nate is Mr. Schmoop. Funnily, Religion is the easiest topic for them to cover. Kendis is agnostic but mostly respectful, so whatever Nate wants to bring to the table, they are supportive. Nate wants marriage but is smart enough to to expect that this will be a long haul convo given how long it took Kendis for even CONSIDER dating him.

They both love kids so much, but I think they might stick to fostering. That might change, but Kendis doesn't really think it's fair to bring a child into their lives permenantly. But there IS a honeymoon. Lmao. Kendis says they (singular) deserve one. And whisks Nate away, because fuck the agency. Kendis isn't a hugger! Kendis is generally anti-touch unless they initiate, but Nate would be allowed soft, gentle brushes. His fingers against their forearm, a light kiss to their temple. Kendis can and will squeeze his fingers or forearms. ONCE IN A BLUE, if it looks like Nate is really wrecked, he can lean his forehead on their shoulder (benefit of having a tall so) and she will pat his back (which actually ive grown to like better than rubbing one’s back, thanks kdramas for that introduction) Even more rarely he’ll get an embrace - because Kendis is actually hug shaped for a tall lean person - but that’s when it looks like he’s DROWNING. Hm. I don't know. I think it might be hard, because I feel a present as both of them are when they're all in, there's an emotional distance to each and that is easier to tackle with proximity. I feel if it happened, it would have to be down the road. I feel Nate would do most of the constant hard-core matienance (scheduling talk time, etc) but Kendis would do more of the longer term stuff (sending like gift baskets). I think both would make the effort to visit, so that would help.

I would have to disagree with the latest anon who said they're running a fan page that's gotten big and wants to know why we, as a fan base, love and support the boys.

Just because some fans say something about their appearance does not mean they support them for their looks, it just means that it's not always the time to be kissing ass and say they're the biggest heartwarming people and the kindest and stuff. Lots of us already know that, if u want to interact with other pages, u're not gonna talk about what a nice person Colby is or what a great thing Sam did, because it's pretty known they're mot assholes and have lots of respect and common sense of what's around them. I'm not saying the fan pages u interact with don't know they are good looking, but it makes the conversation longer talking about, idk let's say how good one of them looked in one vid and the answer would be yeah i think the outfit was also on point. From here, things can escalate and the conversation can getore interesting other than "oh wow he's so nice" and the answer would be "i know right?"

It depends a lot on what fan page or what fan u really encounter, but if u also stumble across people who have been in this fandom for such a long time, their behaviour is something that never really changed, the maturity is more proeminent now, but looks pretty much change. So yeah, maybe they're talking about looks because they have nothing else to add about how they actually are. It's not superficiality or whatever u wanna call them, it's pretty much being in this fandom for a lifetime

i think that's true too. while there definitely are fans that are only here bc they think snc are hot, that doesn't mean that anyone that talks about their looks is just that.

tons of fans have gone on and on about how much they love snc, how much happiness they bring, and all that jazz. but if you say that type of stuff all the time, it starts to come across as disengenuious. even if you are being serious.

and like you said, a lot of fans have been in this fandom for a long time, and it's easier to start a convo with ppl by saying "oh look how hot colby looked in today's video" than it is to say "how has snc changed your life" or something like that.

if anyone needs any positive reads of snc, just go thru twitter and their youtube comments. tons of ppl compliment them daily on how good their content is.

personally, i never see ppl say their content is bad, unless it's on here and it's us venting. but even then, there's nothing wrong with that.

🐺Summary: Jeon Jungkook and his Omega are a mates couple of Bangtan Pack. Recently, the sweet bubble they’ve created seems to grow weaker and weaker, as a feral pack attacks and kills wolfs left and right. Things take a dark turn, and for once, the big bad wolf is actually terrified. Terrified of loosing you.

A pack's life wasn't always sunshine and rainbows, or comfort and protection.

Bangtan pack had learned that the hard way months ago, when Namjoons ex Mate had been violently attacked and killed. He'd mourned quite a bit, even though she'd been unfaithful and had refused to accept her own pups, leaving them with him and his pack as she'd continued her unbound lifestyle. It had still hurt him deeply- yet it was a thing that happened.

He got over it.

And he was happy again these days, as he watched Taehyung and Jin play with his two pups, who still weren't old enough to shift into their human forms. They would stay like that for a while longer, and sometimes Namjoon caught himself wishing that they could just stay like that forever- without having to worry too much about their human sides like he and his pack had to. But it would happen eventually, and he hoped they would grow up to be just as respectful and caring as the rest of his pack was.

Taehyung and Jin were, together with Jungkooks Mate, the only omegas of the pack. While you were the only one who would bear her own pups in the future, Taehyung and Jin took on the roles of caring for his children. He was glad he had them with him- he was not fit to be an only-father due to his alpha side. "What're you thinking about?" Yoongi, the pack's Beta asked from the sidelines, coffee in hand as he watched Taehyung and Jin play with the youngest of the pack, letting the young pups claw and bite their fur without much resistance.

"I'm glad things are returning to normal." He explained, and Yoongi nodded, when Jungkook and you stepped in from your recent grocery shopping trip. Namjoon laughed as the two excited pups immediately yapped and stumbled towards you, making you kneel down to greet them properly. He caught Jungkooks soft gaze on you immediately, already knowing that he would turn out to be a great father and alpha for his own litter in the future. "Everything okay out there?" The Alpha asked Jungkook, who nodded, although not too confident.

"We caught some scents near the borders when we returned, but it wasn't too evident. They probably only want to provoke again." He sighed out as he took the other plastic bags you had discarded next to you, placing them on the kitchen counter and sitting on the couch, next to yoongi. "Do you want me to patrol again?" He asked his leader, as he'd turned quiet and a bit thoughtful at his comment.

"No." He said, and Yoongi furrowed his brows. "If they want to provoke, let them. I'm not biting the bait." He explained, and Jungkook nodded, before he turned his head, having heard you shift. Namjoons mind eased up a little as he watched you, Tae and Jin groom the pups, motherly instincts growing more and more these days. "She'll be a great mother." He hummed, and Jungkook grinned, as if the praise was sent towards him. In a sense it was, because even though Namjoon had talked about his mate, he could hear his alpha inside his head.

Things just calmed down so sudden and without any cause, that it made you feel as if something was off. It wasn't just you who felt like that but the entire pack, you knew this.

"We'll keep you safe either way." Jungkook promised from across you, and you nodded, continuing your dinner.

Things did not turn out well.

When you smelled the intruders, Jungkook had already gotten up from his spot in the front yard of your home in the woods, together with Namjoon and Hoseok already looking out for anyone getting close. It happened suddenly, when Yoongi shouted, shifting immediately as a wolf attacked from the sides.

The rest was utter chaos.

Everyone, you included, shifted into wolf forms, biting and clawing away at the strangers who seemed to snicker and laugh at everything going on. It was as if it was a game to them, as if they were playing- yet there was nothing playful in their nature, as they bit hard on Hoseoks leg, making him yelp as Taehyung jumped to help him. You were no fighter, so you did the only thing rational to you.

You immediately went inside, grabbing the first pup by his neck before you carried him underneath the stairs, rushing into the living room to get the other.

The first wolf simply threw you down as you again bit his leg, tasting iron on your tongue as the stranger clawed at your backleg, biting and bruising skin as his teeth pulled mouthsfull of fur away from your body. The tufts of softness flew around in the air around you like feathers in a mere pillowfight, yet there was nothing sweet and innocent about this. You yelped out again, loudly, as you felt the skin around your backleg rip between the jaws of the stranger, making you immobile as the strangers suddenly decided to let you be, loosing their fun in you. You took this chance to scramble back to the terrified puppies, hiding them as you weakly curled up around them, your back facing away from them as they shivered, hiding underneath your bloody fur in desperate need of warmth and comfort. You wished you could soothe them, but you couldn't lift your head, blood sticky underneath your body as you tried to stay awake.

They snarl something along the lines of 'leaving the alphas bitch' alone, as they snicker outside, making you feel even worse than you did before.

You knew that Jungkook saw you as more than a mere Omega meant to please him and raise his offspring. You knew that he wasn't blinded by his instincts, and even if he was, his alpha was such a sweet existence which fit your own omega so well that it sometimes made you cry. "They're saying things about me." You start, as he frowns.

"What things?" He asks, voice now a bit more serious. He knows who 'they' are- he knows that you talk about your classmates. He hates to see you being bullied, yet it happens, and you had told him again and again that he can't interfere, not so close to your graduation. You just want things to be done with.

"You're not gonna like 'em." You start, and he nods.

"Probably not. I promise I'm not gonna set your school on fire. But you need to talk to someone about it, and if not me than maybe Jin or Tae-" He continues, until you cut him off.

"Whore." You start, as his eyes widen. It seems as if he's frozen in time for a moment, before his gaze is on you again. "They.. they say I'm.. that you only keep me around because-" You try not to get too riled up as you recall their words. "-because I'm an omega thats good to fuck. Because I'm brainless, and the brainless ones are the best because they don't talk back and just choke on-" Jungkook cuts you off as he holds your hand.

"Stop." He mutters, and you simply look at the wooden table of the small restaurant you both are sitting in, as he sighes. "You're so much more to me than your body." He explains, and you melt under his gaze. "You're my mate, my partner for life, you're the part of my soul I didn't even knew I was missing." He continues, as he holds out another piece of sweetness in front of your lips, as your teary eyes gaze at him. "Their words mean nothing, okay? I love you. And only you." He says, as you take the bite from him. "You could ban me from your vagina for the next years to come and I'd still love you." He mutters playfully, as your cheeks redden.

You really do feel loved.

Jungkook had heard your first yelp loud and clear, and it threw him so off guard that he lost focus for a moment, giving a wolf opportunity to jump up on him. He fought him off with a bit of effort, trying to get inside the house as he became more and more desperate as your cries reached his sensitive ears, making him grown more and more feral in his state of mind.

His alpha is restless, pretty much yells into his ears and he swore he would, he swore he would get to you but he couldn't. There were too many.

After a moment of seemingly endless fighting, Namjoon snaps the neck of another alphawolf, successfully ending the attack as the rest of the rogue pack leaves with whines and tails between their legs. Jungkook breathes for a moment, before a certain smell reaches his nose. He locks eyes with Namjoon, who had seemingly noticed it as well, before the big black wolf dashed into the house, stopping dead in his tracks at the scene of the trashed living room and open kitchen, blood and fur scattered around as the irony smell gets almost too much for his sensitive nose.

He can't see you, however.

Your blood and fur show him that you didn't hide successfully, and his heart races as he walks through the mess that is the main space of the house, before his ears catch the whimpering of pups.

There, underneath the stairs in the corner you're laying down. Your back is facing him, blood and saliva staining your fur, as you barely breathe. The pups, smelling the familiar pack, scramble out from underneath your paws, crawling over your body as they rush towards their father, who eagerly inspects them immediately. Jungkook has absolute tunnel vision in that moment however, as he noticed your lack of movement.

He's moving on pure instinct at this point, delicately grabbing your scruff as he carefully pulls you out of your hiding space, but not fully out in the open. He whines and whimpers at your form, limply laying on the ground as you barely breathe, making him restless as he walks from one side to the other, unsure what to do. His mind is in a frenzy, alpha going crazy, as he nudges you every now and then with his snout, silently begging you to get up. He gets pulled away from this however, when he noticed Jin walking towards him. He knows he's no threat. He knows he's pack. But he's not himself in that moment.

ᴘʀᴏᴛᴇᴄᴛ. ᴘʀᴏᴛᴇᴄᴛ. ᴘʀᴏᴛᴇᴄᴛ.

His alpha growls at him, and he does the same, as he scrambles to stand above your form, tail standing diagonal being him as his ears tall as he growls out low and dangerously, for the first time actually showing intention to attack his own brothers. Jin stays still as everyone watches from their spots, witnessing for the first time how their pack member turns against them.

'Jungkook-' Jin tries to communicate, but the younger alpha continues to growl, feet never standing still as he seems restless. As if he doesn't know what to do. He looks like a young wolf in that moment, scared, confused, and painfully upset. His smell is bitter and strong, sending of a warning to everyone in the room as his ears start to slowly droop.

'Protect. I have to protect. Don't- don't come here-!' he sends off, tail slowly moving downwards as he starts to feel the exhaustion in his bones. He slowly but surely moves around again on weak legs, laying down close to you as he leans his front legs over your body, licking your fur as if that would magically heal you.

'Wake up. Wake up. Wake up!' He chants over and over again, every word growing more and more high pitched and choked up as Taehyung lays down in sadness, feeling his brothers emotions full force, as well as everyone else who can't do anything but watch the young alpha fall apart. 'wake up..' he begs, burying his face into your bloody fur as he finally gives in. 'Please.. don't leave me.' are his last words, as his mind fades.

Jin is quick to shift, as well as Namjoon and Yoongi, who immediately move the larger and heavier wolf off of you, before Taehyung can take you away with Hoseok. Jungkook slowly shifts back unconsciously as they lay him on the couch, no one having enough energy to bring him upstairs. Jin tends to his wounds as Taehyung and Hoseok bring you up the stairs into yours and Jungkooks room, as you slowly shift, making Taehyung gasp as he now sees the extend of your injuries.

There are cuts and puncture wounds all over your skin, scratches and bruises already blossoming. Your leg is the worst, open flesh gaping as he has to swallow, telling Hoseok what he needs in order to tend to your injuries.

Moments later, Jin steps into the room as well, helping his younger omega brother to care for you the best that they could before an actual doctor could take a look at you tomorrow.

"She'd told us something was off." Namjoon said with his head hanging low, arms scratched and bleeding as he watches from the doorway. "I should've listened to her." He continues, before Jin cuts in, not looking at his alpha as he continues to wash you gently.

"Self-pity won't help anyone in this situation now, Namjoon." He says, no real bite in his tone as he keeps his voice gentle, exhaustion evident however. Taehyung helps him wring out the wet cloth he's using to clean your skin, as he continues. "Things happened, and now we have to deal with the aftermath. We'll get through this, but only if we don't loose our heads over this." He explaines, the image of the youngest alpha not leaving his mind. "It's bad enough we have two of us down- her and Jungkook." He explains, as Taehyung voices his worries as well.

"Do you think he'll snap out of it?" He asks, as Namjoon chimes in.

"He has to." He says, and Jin turns around for the first time, lower lip bruised from a cut he'd received.

"Namjoon, don't be so harsh on the kid-" He starts, but gets cut off by his leader.

"He's not a kid anymore Jin. He's a full grown alpha that needs to get himself together." He argues, as Taehyung starts to defend his brother.

"No, he's a boy who almost lost his girl tonight, have some common sense!" He whines out, a low growl hinting in his tone that catches Namjoon off guard. Even Jin seems surprised. "We all accepted it when you grieved. So let him heal as well- you can't expect something like this to just go past him." He explains, as the alpha sighs.

"I'm a horrible leader, am I not?" He asks, and Jin smiles along with Tae as he answers.

"No." He answers, with a comforting gaze. "Because you listen to your pack. And the best leaders do exactly that. They listen to their pack, learn from their mistakes, and admit them if they happen." He humms, before opening his small kit to get out some cotton balls and desinfectant.

Namjoon simply nods, hoping that his oldest Omega is right.

Jungkook awakes rudely from his dreamless sleep as he finds himself on the living room couch, dressed in comfortable clothes. For a moment he hopes everything had been a dream, but his aching bones and the mild smell in the air tell differently. He sits up, noticing the now cleaned living room, and the window that had been fixed with wooden planes for now. He can smell the rain outside as Jin steps down the stairs, locking eyes with Jungkook who immediately scrambles up, rushing towards him. "Where is she? Is she okay? She's okay right? She's fine right?" He rushes out, and watches past the eldest as Jimin thanks a stranger in a white coat and familiar hospital clothing. He doesnt listen to anybody as he moves past them upstairs, almost tripping as he opens the door to see you asleep underneath your covers, a butterfly stitch above your eyebrow. His eyes glaze over as his mind begins to fog, his feet moving him as if on autopilot as he walks towards you, unconsciously shifting.

Jimin wants to scold him to leave you alone, but the doctor shakes his head. Jungkook is so careful that even Yoongi who has joined the scene seems surprised. He moves as if you're made out of eggshells as thin as paper, carefully placing himself next to you above the covers Head resting on your stomach as he simply relishes in the mere fact that you're breathing. He barely fits on the bed made for two humans, but everyone lets him.

Jimin softly closes the door, before everyone walks downstairs.

"Is there anything we can do to help him?" He asks the doctor as he puts on his shoes. He sighes.

"Not much, I'd say, let him be close to her. It would only make them both more anxious if you keep them apart from one another." He explains, as Jimin and Yoongi bid the man goodbye and a safe trip home. Closing the door, Jin sighs, sitting down in the living room after folding the blanket Jungkook had slept under. Namjoon walks into the room, his arm still bandaged as he asks about the mated couple.

"Is he okay?" He asks, knowing about your condition already. "I've never seen him like that." He humms out, and Jimin shrugs.

"I don't think anyone ever has." He exclaims, and Namjoon nods, before taking the blanket from jin.

He carefully walks upstairs, opening the door of their room as Jungkooks ears perk up, the rest of him unmoving. The older alpha smiles sympathetically at his younger brother, closing the door behind him as he slowly walks towards them both. "Is that okay?" He asks carefully, as Jungkook simply closes his eyes again, a silent way of agreeing him this close. He drapes the blanket over the large black wolf, careful to tuck you underneath it as well as he sits down on the mattress, close to your hip. "She's gonna be okay." He said, as he looked at your sleeping form, Jungkooks head lifting itself to reposition. He sighed out a breath as the alpha chuckled. "Don't get huffy now pup. She's a strong one." Jungkooks eyes move to look at the elder one, and he sees something in it that Namjoon has not seen many times. Fear.

Namjoons eyes turn gentle as he looks at you for a moment, before he humms out. "You did well."

When you walk downstairs, the entire kitchen grows silent, and you look up to see them all looking at you. Jungkook starts to choke on his food as he coughs, legs of the chair he is sitting on scraping on the tiles as he rushes towards you, carefully taking you into his arms as he holds you close. He breathes in your scent as he suddenly chokes up, violent sobs shaking his shoulders as he cries against your neck, tearfully kissing your bonding mark as you simply pet his head, smoothing out his hair as you try to calm him down. The rest of the pack has a similar expression on their faces, as Jin stands up to get another set of dishes and cutlery for you. Jungkook helps you down the last two steps as he leads you towards the kitchen table, uncaring of his still tear stained face. He sniffles, and Taehyung gives him a napkin with a teasing grin. He simply takes it, wiping his nose before he grabs at your hip, setting you onto his lap as you try to sit down on your chair.

He doesn't continue eating as he simple rests the side of his head against your shoulder, holding you close as he breathes in your scent. His alpha slowly calms down as you eat and move around, proving to him that you were actually there, that you were alive and well enough for now.

ᴏᴍᴇɢᴀ ɪs sᴀғᴇ.

You thank jin as he pours you a cup of tea, when you turn towards Namjoon. "How are the pups?" You ask, wondering where they are as Namjoon smiles proudly.

"They're safe, and asleep upstairs." He says, and you nod, taking a sip of the warm beverage. "Thank you, by the way." He says, and you raise your eyebrows. "You did very well Omega. They're only safe thanks to you, and I owe you everything for it." He grows serious as you chuckle.

"It's my part of the pack Namjoon." You explain as you pick up your cutlery to stuff some rice into your mouth that Jungkook didn't finish. "I did what I had to." He humms in appreciation, as Jungkook silently rubs his cheek against the fabric of your sweater, the scent sending him into a mindset of pure comfort. He doesn't listen to anything being said, and you simply rest a hand on his arms that held you close to him. He noticed how cold they are, and immediately scrambles a bit to remove his zip hoodie, uncaring that he's only wearing a T-Shirt underneath as he placed the warm fabric over your shoulders.

You chuckle a bit at the gesture, and Taehyung does the same. "He's gonna be like that for quite a while I guess." Yoongi comments, eyes holding a soft look as he watches the young alpha with you.

Jimin smiles as well as he places some meat onto yours- or more like Jungkooks abandoned- plate which you thank him for. "Let him be. I can't imagine what he must've felt like." He says, as you nod, before taking another bite.

"Let's see how long it takes for Y/N to grow tired of that man-pup." Hoseok comments, making everyone snort but Jungkook, who lowly growls, without much seriousness behind him. It sounds more like.. he's offended. He looks over your shoulder at his pack, as they all start to laugh, you included.

The night is warm and cozy as Jungkook notices how you grow restless. You slowly gather pillows and sheets, blankets and clothing into the bed as he watches you tiredly. He wonders what you're doing for a moment, until he sniffs the air for a moment, eyes widening.

ᴘᴜᴘs. ᴏᴜʀ ᴘᴜᴘs. ᴡᴇ ᴍᴀᴅᴇ ɪᴛ.

His alpha is proud, and his soul swells as well as he helps you nest, holds you close as he can't stop his smile. His palm rests protectively over your stomach during this night, as his alpha howls in happiness.

This is all of Meokeob’s delusional rant in response to you from yesterday. Meokeob is a deeply disturbed individual and way too obsessed with Sam’s dating life with women that it’s creepy. I am beginning to think Meo is an angry, jealous gay man but I’ve heard from others that M is a woman with a husband which is just as strange. This fandom would be better off just to ignore Meo going forward because M spreads so many 🤥 falsehoods and fabricated stories about Sam, and the women he’s been involved with. M is also very arrogant, rude and completely full of themselves since I don’t know what gender this person is because M acts like blocking you is actually hurting you, lol. 😂😂😂 What it shows is Meo can’t handle the truth or others disagreeing with him or her and so it’s cowardly behavior when presented with the truth. The truth is Sam is not gay, the women are not beards, and he dates a variety of them. I support you Bcacstuff and I know you don’t have any kind of narrative, but Meo does and it’s weird. A person with a convoluted narrative and a warped imagination.

I was at first a bit hesitant to post this, but decided to do so. If she hadn't blocked me yesterday I would have reblogged it myself. So, it's not meant to show here, look what she wrote to me in anyway, it doesn't hurt me. I don't even feel I need to defend myself here, as it is pointless.

It's actually what you see here the tone of communication she [or he, I admit for a long time she came across to me as a he, but I settled for a she as she kept insisting she was a she] uses. Take one little thing, blow it up to ridiculous proportions and make the other person in the convo look stupid, all in order to give her own opinion more weight. To me that comes across like some kind of inferiority complex.

Anyway, I always knew she has just one narrative and keeps defending it to the bone, no matter what. Whenever there is a new girl on the horizon, no matter if it is just a friend or something more, the first thing she does is trying to find any evidence it's a beard. Often saying the girl is lesbian, or at the least bi. I saw her doing this to Gia, AM and MC. Whether they are or not is not the important thing, it's the way she uses this as evidence to proof they are all beards.

I stopped reading her long comments a long time ago. Scrolled by for most of the time. Never saw her contributing anything substantial or noteworthy. So yes, there's one truth in her long rant, I wont miss her the least. As I said in another post today, I like a good discussion, but use arguments that hold and are substantial, listen (or in this case read) what the other person says and let it sink in for a bit. And most important, be respectful. You can always agree to disagree in a respectful way. That's the least I expect from a discussion.

okay, I think what was actually said on this podcast is going to get lost in translation over here if I just kind of vaguely refer to arguments I disagreed with. so to start with, I think anyone who's interested in what the NotACast guys and Dr Shiloh had to say on Jaime & Brienne would be best off listening to it themselves, I really don't want to misrepresent them here.

but I'll share the quote I was referring to, and preface that by saying that PoorQuentyn/Emmett does flat out state earlier in the episode that yeah, Jaime is sexually attracted to Brienne. he refers to the usual quotes, i.e. Jaime eyeing up her calves, picturing her in a dress, admiring her eyes, etc, etc. so far so good lol, obviously we've very much been over all that over in this sphere of fandom, but NotACast is most popular amongst fans from different spheres, including many fans who have not engaged at all with the discourse around JB. so, makes sense to include these foundational readings in the podcast.

anyway, the quote I was referring to (don't look at me transcribing is a weird hobby of mine):

this take is actually kind of bizarre when you consider the fact that, as I said, PQ has already acknowledged that there is a sexual element to JB. perhaps he's just riffing off of the convo BBF and and Dr Shiloh have just had where they wonder where to place Cersei in the conversation between JB and Arthuriana. personally I'd say that Cersei doesn't really belong in that conversation, and that's kind of the point: Jaime's wanted her to, but she never has. however, Dr Shiloh argues that Cersei and Brienne parallel the two women in Lancelot's life, where Lancelot is Jaime, Cersei = Guinevere, Brienne = Elaine of Corbenic (I... do not agree lmao but that's a separate matter)

so PQ's following on from this strain, comparing and contrasting the roles of Brienne and Cersei in Jaime's narrative, just feeling around for what sounds right by the looks of it. however! this does not sound right to me. let's unpack!!!!

so as we've just established, there are sexual elements to JB in Jaime I alone, but they do not stop there: they get more pronounced. in fact by Jaime III they're already pretty explicit: JB have that entire sword fight in the river that is literally screaming look at their physical chemistry (I wrote more on that here) - the whole fight is half written as a sex scene, it's not remotely subtle.

and of course the undertones continue, to the point that they're not even undertones anymore, it's just Jaime getting an erection in the bath as he stares at Brienne's naked body.

but there are courtly elements too, and I won't list all of them off but these are best encapsulated in Jaime IX, where JB are almost meeting again for the first time, as they might in a traditional courtly setting where Jaime is dressed as a dashing knight and Brienne is dressed as a highborn lady, and they kind of awkwardly compliment each other, and instead of the lady bestowing a sword and a quest upon her knight it's the other way round, etc etc you know I love this shit lmao ANYWAY

so it's pretty clear Jaime and Brienne have both bases covered: the courtly and the sexual, and that they do, as the hosts observe in the episode, switch between the roles of the knight and the damsel. the whole point is that they gel perfectly: in falling in love they do not force the other into a contained role, but rather liberate the other from what was a contained role.

MEANWHILE.

...with the actual sexuality kind of displaced onto Cersei.

is the 'actual sexuality' displaced onto Cersei? or is it just that Cersei is the only person Jaime has had sex with so far? as we've established, Jaime and Brienne have a distinct physical chemistry, and we even get a subtle little comparison between this and that which Jaime has with Cersei here:

so. to start with, nowhere does ASOIAF state that Brienne can't be a passionate partner. she hasn't had the chance to be one yet, no, but this is, er, a story, things change and evolve, and we literally have evidence of passion between Jaime and Brienne on the page already.

second, Brienne is not beautiful, that's right! but that doesn't mean she falls short of a romantic ideal for Jaime??? I know I always bring up JB x Beauty and the Beast, but come on, they are literally based on a fairytale that says that love isn't about beauty, it's about the heart. and in any case, Jaime has been shown experiencing sexual attraction to women like Hildy and Pia (post-injury), who are not what society calls beautiful. he admires Cersei's beauty, sure, but we don't see anywhere that it is of the utmost importance to Jaime that his partner is beautiful. it's important to Cersei - but not Jaime.

third, PQ points out that Cersei's this lifelong obsession for Jaime, and surely that counts for something in balancing her against Brienne. well... no?? Jaime's obsession with Cersei has been based on the lies he tells himself about her, and the lies she's told him. Jaime has desperately wanted Cersei to be this benevolent figure that completes him, that he can love and protect as a true knight. she isn't, and he realises that now, and has unambiguously left her. of course he still thinks about her, it was a lifelong relationship, it was that thing he always thought of when he wanted comfort and to feel less alone, but that doesn't mean that he can't appreciate the lie in that, and the futility of his obsession.

so Brienne is not antithetical to what Cersei never was in the first place. in fact, Brienne is very much the kind of woman Jaime has wanted in Cersei (honest, loyal, loving), but simultaneously, yes, a person who inspires him, and who is just as capable of playing the role Jaime once assigned to himself. Jaime always believed his duty was to protect and comfort Cersei. with Brienne, he finds he can also be protected himself, and comforted himself. that's that whole damsel/knight switcheroo that NotACast were so taken with. that's the romantic ideal being, actually, perfectly possible for Jaime and Brienne both, it just... doesn't look as they thought it did.

ANYWAY. that's my thoughts on that. and for the record I do not think the podcast is bad or that the hosts are stupid and the last thing I want to do here is encourage any negativity towards them. I just thought that take was daft and wanted to take it apart with my bare hands lmao
