katsuki, who had never experienced love like this before. who never had someone care for him so deeply and who had never been in love with a person so much before in his entire goddamn life.

it scared him. it scared him so fucking much because he had never allowed himself to be so vulnerable like this with someone. he felt sick to his stomach whenever he thought about it too much. felt like the ground was swallowing him up every time you smiled at him or smothered him with kisses. there were days where he could take it, sure. but there were also days where he'd feel so queasy, so nauseated. he'd have to lock himself away in his room or in a bathroom so he could process. so he could think.

you always got so worried anytime he was like this. you'd try to alleviate his panic, the cold sweats that covered his body, as best as you could. but you just made it worse for him. and he knew you were just trying to help, but fuck he couldn't handle it. you had to learn to give him space. he had to learn to embrace these emotions properly. because it wasn't healthy for him.

aghhh katuski who went his entire life thinking he couldn't even be loved, that he wasn't capable of it. but then you came along and turned his entire world upside down. he wanted so desperately to be able to hold you. to kiss you easily. to let you love him.

but you just—you just made him so sick. made his head swim. caused him to feel feverish. he always needed to take breaks from you or he'd become too addicted. it was absolutely heart wrenching.

at the end of the day though... he was the fool to have fallen in love.

um um um Tekken AU where Jun doesn't get got by Ogre and raises Jin, and also she helped iron things out among some of the Tekken 2 participants so she befriended them and they befriended each other, and in turn, their kids / grandkids became childhood besties. i have thoughts about this entire thing under the cut bc ive been rotating this au in my brain for so long LOL

in this AU, Jun doesn't get got by Ogre, so she's in Jin's life and he doesn't end up with Heihachi - but also Jun's presence helps clear up some of the stuff among the Tekken 2 participants so she becomes friends with Law, Paul Phoenix, Lee, Jinrei, Baek, and Michelle - probably would be on friendly terms with some others, but those are her main friend group

Jinrei and Lee help to hide Jin from Heihachi too, which is appreciated, but Jun largely moves around w Jin through his childhood, and Heihachi pays her no mind at all. they settle in Osaka near Asuka's part of the Kazama family tho, and everyone visits each other whenever they can - contributing to the kids becoming friends (will draw Asuka eventually)

Baek adopts Hwoarang when he's a lot younger for the sake of this AU, but also I think it adds an interesting thing bc haha he has to live with the guilt of killing his father but now HE is a father (((:

Uncle Lee is real to me. Uncle Lars would be real too, but I need to figure out where to fit him into the timeline, because he's actually around the same age as Forest????????
