Your prince had you kneeling on the floor, just to the side of his legs and facing him, for what could have been seconds or hours at this point. And you needed something, something more. It was curling in his chest and he bit back a whine. You needed to be touched, you were so starved for it.

Gently as you could, you brushed your head against his thigh. You hadn’t been told you could rest your head there, but you couldn’t… You weren’t good at asking for things and talking without clamming up out of embarrassment unless you were very deep into this headspace.

He, acute and observant as ever reached down and ran a hand over your head, smoothing down the hair until he got to the dark ribbon that kept his hair back. “What do you want?”

Everything, you want to say. Anything you will give me. There’s the urge to be told how good you are, that someone is proud of you, and you thinks of how he could do that and what you could do for him that would make him say those words.

“Can I… my mouth…”

“Your mouth?” His lips quirk. “Do you want me in your mouth?”

“Would you like my mouth on you?” You question back. Neither of you miss the tremble in your voice.

“Sweetheart,” He chides. "This is for you, my darling, do you want my cock in your mouth?"

'This is for you'. You couldn't cope with it when he said things like that. And what did you want? Did you even know? Was it just some vague feeling of wanting a sensation somewhere?

"I... I don't know. I want... I know I want something..."

"In your mouth?"

You nodded.

"Alright then," He shifted in his seat, his book perching on his knee with only one hand to steady it. His other hand was now draping itself off the arm of the plush chair. "Open."

You opened his mouth without even thinking. You didn't need to think about what to do and whether to do it, you could just do what you were told and it was so refreshing. 

His fingers danced along your lips, before dipping on inside. Instantly, you were closing his lips around it and sucking and he hummed in approval. It wasn't long before he slid a second finger into your mouth and just let you move them around in his mouth and suck on them.

"That's it, good pet."

One of the greatest things in the earlier books; the way that Call is lowkey kind of an unreliable narrator, particularly when it comes to his perception of himself and how that relates to others. This is often tragic, but sometimes it's really funny, mainly when he's like "oooh I'm so evil. not like aaron who is beautiful and kind and good and never ever selfish." and meanwhile Aaron is like... giving Celia a death stare and debating taking Alastair up on his offer to run away from all things magic

I can’t be the only one who was a little surprised at how rayman turned out in CLH. and no, not the “omg he killed someone!! he did crack and said no-no words! but he’s from a kids game!!” but more of like.. i thought he was gonna be the main villain or something close to that 😭 like what i mean is looking at that poster with him up at the top looking all scary and controlling made me think that we were going to get a Rayman that was all evil and stuff. And don’t get me wrong, i absolutely adore the rayman that we did get, plus ramon, but i thought he was going to be the kind of unforgiving malicious evil government type of dude that covered it all up with a smile and acted all nice while on tv. and if you look at his concept art, you can see that they were kinda going for that? and the actual rayman we got is kinda like that too but what i had envisioned was a much more dangerous and threatening version of the show one. i feel like if they had went with this idea of rayman it would have made his “arc” or whatever it’s called have more impact. while the rayman we did get was working for eden and spreading its propaganda and stuff, a rayman like this would have seemed a lot more like he had direct ties with eden. but i do get why they didn’t do that; one: he would kinda look stupid as a main villain. and two, our actual villain is sarah. but i just like the idea of rayman seeming like the type of villain that knows what he’s doing, but in reality eden was just controlling him HARD. which would have made it seem like him turning on eden was a much bigger deal, because well the dude was literally making it seem like he was doing edens work with that evil little smile on his face idk man lol

but i mean… we might still be able to get that, considering that eden apparently cloned rayman and he’s just running around filling in for the actual guy or something. i’m just hoping that the show actually does something with him and doesnt just use him as a substitute for rayman while the actual rayman is hiding as ramon. i mean come ON just look at him here (and i know this probably isn’t the actual CLONE of rayman, but this was the image that got me in this stupid rant):

how are you gonna tell me that doesn’t scream “cute cartoonish character that looks really nice but is actually evil”??? i have to admit that i was a little disappointed when rayman immediately felt bad for what he had done because of eden, but it was a very in character thing for someone like him to do. although i really did want to see mean spoiled rayman 😭 but hey, we still have a chance of getting something like that from him rayman clone thing. tbh i find it kind of weird when people act as if sasha was a “mean girl” or “bully” at school. it’s pretty clear that the reason she was popular was specifically because she knew how to make people like her by being nice and friendly to them and making them feel good about themselves. she and anne are (as usual) very similar in that regard, their social savvy stemming largely from their natural friendliness and ability to make people feel special and welcomed (the way anne made sasha feel that first day they met on the playground). it’s kind of funny that this is somehow framed as a sinister trait when sasha is able to befriend the toads guarding her, because remembering peoples names, interests, and being friendly with them is nothing but a good thing, even if you don’t genuinely care about them (and it’s clear she does care about the toads she’s befriended, just not as much as she cares about anne and marcy). the reason that sasha is higher on the social hierarchy than anne is because anne is a brown immigrant whereas sasha is a conventionally attractive white girl (she’s also more feminine than anne, and presumably wealthier, which also plays a not insignificant role). the only person we see her actually be mean to is that girl who was being racist to anne. she bullies bullies (or as she would call them, “evildoers”). amphibia understands that the most popular girl in school may be a blonde cheerleader, but she earned her social status through being friends with everyone, not through being a bitch to them.

the only person we actually see sasha be a bitch to is anne. and to be clear, it’s not because she sees anne as her minion or her inferior. it’s obvious that sasha loves marcy, but she can sometimes be kind of dismissive towards her, and i think it’s because she’s subconsciously resentful of the idea of anne not giving sasha her full attention. she wants anne all to herself, so as much as she loves marcy and gets along with anne’s parents, she also very much wants to establish herself as the most important person in anne’s life, even though marcy was anne’s best friend first, and anne’s parents genuinely love her (a fact which she can’t seem to wrap her head around. healthy parents??? sounds fake). it’s why sasha is so fucking mean to sprig, she feels like sprig somehow “stole” anne away from her. what makes sprig a good friend to anne is that he always wants what’s best for her, whereas sasha only wants what’s best for anne when sasha can provide that for her. sasha is a bad friend to anne, but it’s because anne is her favorite person, her lifeline, and she’s too insecure to trust that anne would still choose her if sasha wasn’t constantly asserting all the ways she can serve anne’s needs. sasha is terrified of the fact that she needs anne more than anne needs her, so she sees herself both as anne’s humble servant/knight in shining armor/prince (utena vibes) but externalizes this role as the person who knows what’s best for anne and thus has to make all the decisions in their friendship. this can seem counterintuitive, but ultimately it’s just her insecurity manifesting in controlling behavior because deep down she’s convinced that if she isn’t dictating the circumstances of her loved ones, they’ll leave her (she probably blames herself for her parents’ divorce too, and wants the semblance of control in her friendships because it's clear she craves that feeling of security she fundamentally lacks).

there are no clear cut “heroes” or “villains” in their relationship, simply two young girls with low self-worth. anne, sasha, and marcy all have to learn to be secure in and truly love themselves to grow as people. their insecurity and codependency made them stagnate in unhealthy ways, but learning that they have value outside of what they can provide for other people, even when they’re alone, is crucial to their collective development. anne and sasha both saw themselves as the inferior in their relationship, and it’s anne’s insistence that there doesn't need to be a leader and a follower, but that they’re equals, two individuals coming together instead of one single entity that must operate in perfect sync at all times, that is actually what allows them to ultimately be more in sync than they ever were before.

Kinda wish my coworker would stop referring to me as neurodivergent at work. Like, yeah I get that for some people that may be fine and she is pointing out traits that dont cause me as much harm but I am still ultimately very mentally ill and I'm very afraid that those really difficult to handle traits are going to be more obvious if she keeps pointing it out. I hate the idea of someone looking at me in a work environment and seeing "different" and then equating any mistake of mine to be an unfixable issue. I know paranoia is kinda one of those things so maybe this isnt as big of a deal as I think but it really freaks me out and I dont know how to tell her to stop.
