listened to the nico sky podcast, some highlights:

- said he met up with old teammates at the track which can either mean mark webber or lewis hamilton 🤨

- toto was saying he can't summer in ibiza anymore cause there's too much paparazzi and he needs to "summer where no one can find me"

- was asked about his 7x race win record and said he'd have 8 if lewis hadn't shunted him in Barcelona. then goes "to podcast listeners This Is A Joke. I Am Joking."

- genuinely believed lewis would win the race

- asked if he had to drive in the current mclaren or mercedes which would he choose, and he was like Come On, Mercedes is my ex family

- was asked about redbull domination compared to mercedes, and said "it's about the same, no? we used to win everything, pole, race. just more reliability issues back then."

bokuto briefly sobered up to look at kuroo before descending into another laughing fit. he's seen the other with wet hair many times before so he didn't know why this time was any different, but kuroo looked hilarious. the force of his laugh made him almost fold over in half, and he stumbled over to lean against his friend so he didn't fall over entirely

More Damaged Alice is slated for this year's ficmas - mostly because it predates STL and most of the draft needs a hefty rewrite before it is seen by human eyes, so I'll try and make sure it includes Alice and Jasper's meeting <3

I'm frankly SO HAPPY that Home Again is enjoyed! It's kind of something different for me and very fluffy. I have a few other fics for that series - the next fic is either Alice and Jasper attending Cynthia's celebrity wedding after Home Again, or Jasper meeting Alice's father the first time. Belgian GP 🇧🇪, 1966.

For the first time at Spa with his own team and car, Bruce started the weekend with hopefulness, since the team replaced the Ford V8 engine with an Italian 'Serenissima'. It seemed to be a promising racing weekend, but as time passed, lap after lap, the car seemed to have some issues...

Already from the previous day it was clear that something wasn't right, and of all days, those problems surfaced on Sunday, minutes before the start of the race: the engine didn't want to start, leaving Bruce and the team with no time to even try and fix it, forcing Bruce to take off his helmet and balaclava.

"If you had to miss a Grand Prix, Spa was certainly the one." would note Bruce, at least that day he had some company in the pits. "Jimmy Clark's Lotus had expired not far from the start and we consoled each other with the fact that the race we were missing was not a very pleasant one anyway", and he was right: Spa was already quite a tricky circuit by itself, add rain and it's pure chaos, in fact in the first lap a rain storm wiped out the majority of the field.

But if racing at Spa-Francorchamps was no fun, Bruce soon found out that spectating wasn't either: "Sitting at the pits amid all the fingernail-biting was a bit scary, I can tell you".
