You know the funny thing? I'm scared of water. The idea of being lost at sea is unacceptable to me, for example. But I want to go scuba diving because it's an experience. And your retelling is making it even more enticing. Were you scared when you realised that the hole had closed on you?
It wasn't exactly terryfing at the time, the fire incident. It wasn't my whole body, and it was taken care of very quickly. As for stories, I have some which could terrify you, some which could make you laugh, and some which could make you blush. I have anecdotes which could make furries blush, as well…!
I applaud you for wanting the experience despite being afraid of water!
I briefly swam competitively (as a kid) - it ended up being too onerous of a sport for me, but I LOVE water, love swimming, can hold my breath longer than anyone I know.... and I still find scuba diving kind of claustrophobic of an experience. What I love about swimming is freedom, and scuba diving is the reverse of that, in my opinion.
Ice diving wasn't too bad as I didn't end up going deep (it's kind of unsafe to do so anyway when it's cold and very low visibility). The hole closing on me was OKAY - I remember being pretty calm and only remembering to panic hours later.
Re: your stories, Anon. Ok, don't make me and the good people of Tumblr wait. Spill the beans!

The fact that Main-verse Ooo is as good and as kind as it is (relative to the other universes shown so far, at least, it's obviously not perfect) all because of the same character that starts off as the OG series' antagonist, the person we were made to see as the bad guy (albeit an often ineffectual one) for several seasons, is making me lose my mind.
Imagine finding out the guy you spent your childhood beating up and saving princesses from is in fact a driving catalyst behind you being able to exist, and not only exist but also live in a world that knows what kindness is. All because that man, the same man who you've witnessed do terrible things, once met a little girl and taught her how to be good.
Simon's story really shows us that even if you lose your way and forget how it is to be good yourself, the world keeps the memory for you. That act of love Simon showed Marcy by protecting her and seeing her as more than the monster she thought herself to be created ripples upon ripples, small at first but eventually enough to help give their wreckage of a world—a world that easily could have been forsaken, its goodness overlooked because of its inhospitable remains—a chance to grow into something beautiful. Because of those very same ripples Simon created, the people of Ooo grew up in a world where they know enough about kindness that they were able and willing to spare the 'bad guy' some, to see beyond the wreckage and allow him to grow too.
In saving Marceline, Simon helped to not only to save the world, but also himself.

A very GENEROUS donation and a couple of aliases making for a believable cover were all the convincing needed to secure a completely PRIVATE night at the aquarium. Didn't hurt to preemptively sabotage a bit of the security system, either - just enough that they wouldn't be recorded, and the place wouldn't be any the wiser until the next day. No harm done.
Though located on the mainland so as to be better sheltered from the archipelago's violent storms, the biggest aquarium in the Outlands wasn't far from Calypso. A short flight there after dark, and they landed in the back lot normally reserved for staff and various shipments.
Revenant took Symphony's hand to exit the ship, leading toward one of the back entrances and punching in a code at the keypad to open the doors for them. "Feels a little like sneaking in, don't it?" He mused. "We can walk through to the front. Start there if you want," he suggested. Staff corridors would allow them to reach the front lobby without being SPOILED by exhibits along the way, so they could tour the place just the same as anyone else would.

My name is B3LL4
My designated name is B3LL4 and my current task at hand is roaming under the ice in continuous submersion as an ice diving drone.
My story began a year ago when i was chosen to be what i am today, putting this beautiful blue drysuit on and this tight mask on my face after i was given a thorough session of hypnosis~
I can still remember the moment i went under the ice’s surface and i looked up as my entry hole was being closed back up so that i may not escape from what is my new home, being reminded that i had to take slow and steady breaths while i reached my flooded habitat to sleep for my first night under the ice.
From that point forward, i was fully involved in making sure i fully lived under the ice, taking slow, deep and steady breath to make my oxygen tanks last as long as i could make them last for.
I still have contacts with the surface through the radio that’s deep in my brain in order to relay informations and relay my current status to my higher ups but never have i gone back up to the surface.
For as far as i know, i have been living under the ice for the past year as an ice diving drone and i am not slated to come back to the ice surface at any point.
My task at hand will be to train new drones that joins the ice diving drones ranks and helping them get acclimated to their new environments while easing them into the fact that once they go under the ice, they will never see the surface again
