I love the camp gossip but do wish companions would interact with each other more... so I'm gonna draw it!!! I think Karlach and Astarion gotta have the most contrasts between their characters but one bit I like especially is touch starved vs touched out.

Ooh, yeah, okay, I'll join in :D. Here are five things that make me happy:

1. My dog Joey, connoisseur of snuggling, the best welcome home gift after a day at work, and just my favourite little guy

2. Visiting my friends (many of whom I've known going on a decade now) in my home state and spending time with them in person (and of course talking to them online as well)

3. Going to op shops and second-hand markets, and finding cute little trinkets/antiques or books I've been wanting to read for cheap (and also finding little gifts for my friends)

4. Finishing an artwork or a fic, knowing all the hard work is done, and that I've accomplished creating something I'm proud of and can now release it out into the world (also there's something really satisfying to me, personally, about ticking stuff off a to-do list)

5. Last but not least, spending time at home on a rainy day, enjoying a book, a video game, or a movie/show as the rain pitter-patters on the rooftop, and the world outside is a cosy shade of grey

#tag game #personal #long post #keeping up the theme of pets being listed as number one. because they are number one of course #and my dog is snuggling me right now as a write this and it's very cosy and nice so it seemed right to include him in #living in a different state from all my friends is not a thing that makes me happy. but visiting them is always a joy #which unfortunately isn't as often as i'd like due to work and flight costs but it nevertheless is always a highlight of the year #and i also being in my hometown is something that makes me happy. it may change and no longer feel quite like home but its still familiar #number 3 on the list basically boils down to: collecting random things and giving random things. it's my magpie behaviour #it is also the reason i have so many animal trinkets and knick-knacks around my room. #i have a whole corner just for marine animals trinkets. i never meant to have a corner for marine animals trinkets. it just happened #ah yes the universal experience of feeling happy about completing to-do lists. i'm sure everyone feels this way as well #as much as i love soaking up sunlight i am through and through a rainy day person. the sound. the smell. the darkness. it's my happy place #unfortunately it's been a very VERY dry summer where i am and i have been deprived of a good rainy day at home for far too long #i need it to rain. please. my home state has been getting way too much and my poor friends are sick of it. send it my way instead. #or even better a storm. man i love a good storm when i'm at home. thumber rumbling. lightning dancing in the sky. serotonin right to brain. #(being caught outside in a storm? not so much) #update as i'm writing this: it's starting to shower outside. rain rain rain RAIN RAIN please #listening to music is a very close 6 on this list. it makes even the most boring of tasks less boring for me. #and 7 would be going on bushwalks and little trips into nature. i love the indoors but i also love the outdoors. especially woods &mountain #(i also love being in the city. being surrounded by tall buildings make me feel so small (affectionate) ) #(i am not immune to the Romantic ideal of the sublime regardless of the source) #anyway seems like a good point to end on. time to hand it off to the next person #tag you're it
