Run BTS: 049 | Eve of Episode 50 Festival part 1
Original Air Date: 17 APR 2018 Episode Length: 23:43 Total Parts: 2 YouTube English Subtitles: Yes Title Song: Blood Sweat & Tears
Tumblr media
Synopsis: A summary episode - reliving moments from the past 50 episodes
Production: so...it's exceedingly obvious that they intended this to only be one episode but they spilled it over into the next one. Most of the time that will work but when you're making a big deal about it being the 50th, it doesn't really work. Overall, not the worst execution of a 'clips' ep but i think we'd all agree that we'd rather have original content than watch compiled clips. if I want to watch those moments, I'll go watch the actual eps. It's not that I hate the idea of a bottle show via past content but this one just wasn't executed well. It's really nice to see the ceramics complete from a few episodes before.
Here's a weird editing note: pointing out the prod team didn't know the members were hungry and surprised they were eating. I get that sometimes the food is for show (especially on their livestreams) but why did they feel the need to state it in the subs? It just makes the guys and the prod team look ill-prepared.
Another thing, i know most probably won't notice but when they do cut to clips, it's like they've ripped them straight from the internet instead of the original files. The audio is SO disjointed. To do this properly, they should have grabbed the clips without the music and added new music in the compilation. Also the part where they watch their own clips is too long. Don't get me wrong, i actually enjoy watching BTS react to their own content but that's in the context of a reaction livestream or a Bomb, not as an episode of a variety show. A little hint of it would have been sufficient but it does nothing for the pacing of this episode. Final also, is it just me or is there something off about the translation? The quality just seems more lacking than we're used to.
Endearment: Uh, if my above notes didn't give it away, i think this episode does absolutely nothing for the guys. it's vaguely interesting to me to see what moments they remember from past episodes before the clips are played but I wouldn't call it endearing at all. They're put in this hard spot where they know that the audience is infinitely more knowledgeable about their content than they are but they still have to put on this show. oh, it was nice to hear them talk about what they'd like to do for the future, knowing which actually become episodes
Winner/Loser: none
Best Cheater: none
Member Moments:
RM: RM still remembered the names of the dogs. my heart!
JN: Jin confusing the Santa Run ep with when they filmed Bon Voyage at Santa Village.
YG: Yoongi being iconic for playing along with the question asking how Yoonji is doing now.
JH: Savage Hobi! Jimin complimenting everyone's acting and saying he should act, Hobi hits him with the 'not you'
JM: Way to go Jimin with the guessing...it's almost sus...
V: Tae's adorable squashed pottery as a callback to the squirrel garden.
JK: Im glad JK was enjoying the snacks.
Bonus Content: So much more engaging than the actual episode! absolutely worth the watch. (plus you can see Tae drink through a million straws at the same time...slight exaggeration..)
CQ Rank: 1.5

this post is extremely long. its an analysis of every hydro character and what hydro visions could possibly signify.  mentioning some of my genshin analysis friends because i worked for 7 hours on this thing and im not letting it go unseen ! @eujean
@ka1etale3owboy
@asleep-and-afraid @jesterjangles enjoy :)
hydro visions are quite the mystery, so far we don't have a clear answer for what drives celestia to give a hydro vision to someone. anemo visions center around freedom, pyro visions center around passion, but what do hydro visions stand for ?
i'm of the firm belief that visions can have multiple meanings, as people have suggested many logical traits for the same element before.
so the 4 traits im going to be focusing on with hydro visions are
Justice, stemming from the hydro archons title [J]
Caring deeply for the people around them, coming from the fact that that seems to be a very core trait in most hydro users [C]
Feeling like they aren't good enough. this one came from a short video i saw of someone giving their thoughts about what visions could mean, and i want to try it out. [I]
and lastly, hard work [H] ! this also seems to be a very strong trait in hydro users so yeah
i am going to make it clear that by Justice i mean a strong sense of what's right and taking action to make that happen. no matter what.
This post is going to have a lot less of my own input and is more of a compilation of information from character stories, and every time that these 4 traits are mentioned.
im also going to note that justice and care for others will often come together but im going to keep them seperate
Tumblr media
Character Details :
“In fact, Barbara can do much more than just /put people in a better mood/: Her /healing powers/ extend to flesh wounds and other physical ailments.” [C]
“Barbara herself knows that /hard work/ is the most miraculous magic of all.” [H]
Character Story 2
“However, an idol is also expected to /spread joy and relieve people's spiritual fatigue/... Has she really accomplished that?
She sang for blind Glory, encouraging her to believe that her lover would one day return. She sang, too, for sick Anna, promising her that her illness would one day be cured.
Yet, the smiles on their faces never last long after the songs end.
This has led Barbara to become somewhat /disillusioned and doubtful/.” [C] [I]
Character Story 3
“Unlike Barbara, her sister has always been the very definition of success in all aspects.
Initially, all /Barbara had ever wanted was to surpass her sister in at least one thing/, even if only once.
However, be it swordplay, her grades, or anything else, she was never able to compare.
Even for someone as optimistic as her, she found herself to be /upset and down./
"/Hard work is the most miraculous magic/. But when even that doesn't work... what then?"” [H] [I]
Character Story 4
"I'm not so good in combat, so I'll be sure to /support/ those who are." [C]
“Her desire to be recognized gradually transformed into /a simple desire to help others./” [C] [J]
(this quote is interesting, because on the surface its just about helping others, but if you really think about it it shows a sense of justice. over time her values changed because she realized whats right is to help others.)
Character Story 5
“Therefore, whenever she is /massaging her swollen calves or drinking tea to care for her sore throat/, Barbara recalls all those who have been kind to her.” [C] [J] [H]
Vision Story
"Never having sung before is no reason to abandon a child in their /time of need/," [C] [J]
(this is another interesting line, which represents care and also justice. doing something that you believe to be right despite not being completely sure of yourself)
“After quickly realizing that she barely knew any of the words, /she had to resort to humming the tune instead/.
Nevertheless, her voice began to soothe the child, and so she kept singing. She sang the same song, over and over again, /until her throat was dry and her voice was hoarse./“ [H] [J] [C]
Mentions of Justice : 4
Mentions of Care : 7
Mentions of Insufficiency : 2
Mentions of Hard Work : 4
this checks out for Barbara ! she is extremely caring, values hard work and tries her best to do whats right. and shes working very hard to move past her insufficiencies. all the love to this girl :)
looking through her voice lines, there's a few places where hard work is mentioned as well.
if i had to give her an x/10 score for each trait and how prevalent it is to her character, it’d be
7/10 justice
10/10 care
9/10 hard work
and 5/10 for insufficiency
Tumblr media
even in his quick character description, he is already leaning HARD into those themes of justice !
“A young man carrying a longsword who is frequently seen at book booths. He has a chivalrous heart and yearns for justice and fairness for all.” [J] [C]
(i mark this as care as well as justice because of the “fairness for all” part. sometimes justice means not everyone wins !)
Character Details
“little did he know that Xingqiu, after finishing the dauntingly thick volumes on commerce and philosophy”
(i dont think im going to give this a justice point but i DO want to point out the obvious that commerce and philosophy are pretty intertwined with law, which in itself is intertwined with justice)
Character Story 1
“Sometimes, it means that he is off to fight for justice in the name of chivalry.” [J] [C]
“Defeating bandits on the road, driving away monsters, helping distressed children by fetching their kites from the tree tops... there are all manner of responsibilities that fall into the category of chivalry.” [J] [C]
(this is a nice refresher for me because the instances of justice and caring are actually separate in this ! defeating bandits being more justice leaning as not everyone in the situation wins and helping children with kites is a low stakes situation just out of the kindness of Xingqiu’s heart <3)
Character Story 3
“He reasoned that they would be useful to have in his repertoire during his future exploits as a chivalrous hero.” [J]
(heroism and justice are like so close to each other that theyre kissing cmon now)
Character Story 5
“Chivalry means listening to your conscience calling you to action when you see an injustice, right? Or is chivalry simply about knowing right from wrong? No, that's not enough — it must have something to do with being a righteous person...
To Xingqiu, chivalry simply means: Be good, and do good.” [J]x2
(Im giving this two justice points because uh yeah.)
Mentions of Justice : 6
Mentions of Care : 3
Mentions of Insufficiency : NONE ! 😳
Mentions of Hard Work : there is alot of this in his character story but i didnt want to like copy paste all of it lmao
prevalence scores :
8/10 for justice (would be 10/10 but justice for poor chongyun)
6/10 for care
0/10 for insufficiency this guy is ON TOP of it
10/10 for hard work, this guy is on top of it !
Tumblr media
Mona’s story and details have a lot less clear cut instances of these things, so this will be a lot more of my own typing.
justice has a lot of instances, so instead of copy pasting them all im going to summarize them. Mona values knowing and spreading the truth, even if it causes despair to the receiver. that is what is right to her as an astrologist. i’m gonna give her a score of 7 for this because astrology is what she spends most of her time on, and a lot of that is spent telling people the truth of their futures.
“The cold, hard truth is laid bare before people' eyes, complete with all the grisly details that they would rather remained buried.
Mona will make no exceptions to this, and as such she can seem completely lacking in human emotion.”
another voiceline of here states that she doesnt want to use the power of divination and hydromancy to earn mora. seems pretty “doing whats right” to me
Mona is a very hard worker ! always busy with watching the stars or filling out her columns, anything astrology related really. her life's work is her life, basically
in terms of feelings of insufficiency, mona doesn't seem to have many ! shes pretty confident in herself.. maybe money struggles add something there
8/10 for justice
6/10 for care
2/10 for insufficiency
9/10 for hard work
i feel like mona does care about the people around her but alot of the time justice through truth takes precedence over caring for peoples feelings
a quote of interest in mona’s vision story : “The gods, too, are bound by the rules of this world.”
this reminds me of the quote in the varunada lazurite description "My ideals have no stains."
I must correct you. People here bear no sins in the eyes of the gods... Only laws and the Tribunal can judge someone."
They can judge even me. So praise my magnificence and purity."
Tumblr media
For someone as fearsome as the 11th fatui harbinger, you wouldnt expect him to have traits as soft as care and as seemingly good leaning as justice, but they are definitely there
Character Details
“As a fighter first and foremost, he is quite at odds with this organization of deceit and treachery.” [J]
(though his devotion to the tsaritsa is still strong and tied to his sense of justice, i believe maybe he thinks the way that the rest of the harbingers go about things arent very truthful, but neither is he tbh)
Character Story 1
“Even if the promise he makes is absurd, he will never break it.” [J] [C]
basically the entire “letters to home” section is getting a care mention because yeah.
Tartaglia doesnt seem to show many signs of feelings of insufficiency. maybe telling the truth to his siblings is a point of anxiety for him but as far as i can tell he is a proud man.
ok. heres something that i kinda had to think about for a while but uh
“Her Royal Highness the Tsaritsa is actually a gentle soul. Too gentle, in fact, and that's why she had to harden herself. Likewise, she declared war against the whole world only because she dreams of peace. And because she made an enemy of the world, I had the chance to become acquainted with you.”
this one is kind of hard to get justice from but when you look into it i think it gives us some insight that no matter how he views his fellow fatui harbingers he believes that the tsaritsas will is the true “right”, and his sense of justice is to serve her and carry out her will so the future can be better. no matter what type of awful things that takes.
Tartaglia is definitely a hard worker, doing dirty work for the fatui and also literally fighting his way through the abyss as a teenager, even with the help of a mentor that is absolutely a sign of hard work. also to make your way to the fucking most feared 11 people in the world. that takes work.
prevalence score :
7/10 justice
7/10 for care
1/10 for insufficiency . maybe even 0.5.
9/10 for hard work
Tumblr media
Character Details
“Yet its desire to protect Watatsumi Island never faded. This will lives on in the bloodline of the Sangonomiya Clan,” [C]
“to inherit the will of a god in a mortal's body, and to defend this land and its people in that god's stead.” [C]
Character Story 1
“She was fair in distributing rewards and punishments alike,” [J]
Character Story 3
“Whether on the battlefield or off it, Kokomi tries to "know thy enemy" as much as possible.”
(im not giving this one any points but i think its worth the time to note that this phrase contributes to her having an oddly relaxed relationship with kujou sara even when meeting during war. this also shows with her relations to yae miko despite her connections to the shogun. not giving care points for this but it shows that she cares alot and can see past the fog of war even when its her main focus..)
Character Story 5
“Kokomi lacks skill in social interaction. She does not know when it started, but interacting with people eventually became tiresome to her.” [I]
Secret Notes
“She treats all things with an egalitarian manner, and holds "fairness of judgment" and "justice in dispensing rewards and punishment" to be her” [J]
“A leader with a strong will can lead those around them in a clear direction.
However, Kokomi lacks such strong ideals. Instead, she respects the will of the people and wishes that they can each find their own way.” [J]
(this one isnt as apparent but i believe kokomis sense of justice lies within “power to the people”, but sometimes people need a leader. justice in the form of individuality, as opposed to the shogun’s “peace in the form of conformity”)
"I wish to protect all of Watatsumi Island and allow its people to lead happy lives." [J] [C]
Mentions of Justice : 4
Mentions of Care : 3
Mentions of Insufficiency : 1
Mentions of Hard Work : its mentioned alot of times ! shes a very hard working woman
prevalence score time !
7/10 justice
9/10 care
5/10 insufficiency
10/10 hard work
Tumblr media
Character Details
“But others also say "ah, but there is much to politics that should never see the light of day. And how could he have kept such a lofty position without a few tricks up his sleeve, hmm?"
Ayato himself is unfazed by such comments.
"Well, I consider myself merely a serious, dutiful public servant who owes his allegiance to the Almighty Shogun."” [J]
(despite how much i hate politics and such the job does come hand in hand with justice, and so does the title of “public servant”)
Character Story 1
“The heavy workload, malicious deceptions, and attempts to frame him at every turn he parried away, even turning them to his own advantage.
The passage of time has only increased the standing of the Yashiro Commission's Kamisato Clan in the Shogunate and with the people.” [H]
Character Story 3
i dont want to copy paste the entire passage but this whole thing shows that in his free time he tries to peek into the personal lives of the people and get to know whats happening. i think that deserves a care point ! [C]
Character Story 4
“Kamisato Ayato's table is always a terrible mess after he uses it.
Books are strewn about, open and even dumped face-down on the table, while documents of uneven size are stacked haphazardly.” [H]
Character Story 5
“Though he still believed in protecting his clan above all else, he also understood that Inazuma was sustained by the Electro Archon's protection. Only peace in Inazuma could guarantee the longevity and prosperity of the clan.” [C] [J]
(this shows care for his clan but also a sense of justice, because he knows that the archons protection is what keeps inazuma safe, even if he has issues with her.)
Vision Story
once again i do not want to copy paste everything but it shows care, justice and hard work so thats a point towards all 3 [C] [J] [H]
Mentions of Justice : 3
Mentions of Care : 3
Mentions of Insufficiency : they come up around the part where the clan was failing, but i feel like that was more about him rising past it than being a lingering feeling so no points
Mentions of Hard Work : 3
woah ayato has alot of 3’s there
overall prevalence
8/10 justice
6/10 for care
1/10 for insufficiency
10/10 for hard work, he revived an entire clans legacy on his own. nice.
Tumblr media
Character Story 1
“Yelan's eyes, these things are not hobbies, but a means to an end.”  [J]
(doing whats right, no matter what)
Character Story 2
“She plucks the fruits of intelligence from the tree of danger for Ningguang, and in return, all she asks for is danger itself and the sense of achievement.” [J]
(again, doing whats right no matter what. also theres a nice connection here between her and childe for the thrill of danger and the thrill of battle)
“Every secret and perilous demesne shall become a garden where orchids bloom.”
(no points for this one i just think its an interesting connection to mona)
Character Story 4
“One day, the information will come in handy — Liyue will never plunge into disaster without any clue of the danger like it once did 500 years ago.
She will see to it that Liyue is not caught unprepared.” [C] [J]
Vision
not going to paste the entire passage here but it shows hard work, and a sense of justice. she would go into the depths of the abyss to find the information she needs to keep liyue safe. even if that meant losing her team. im not giving her care points for this reason, not to imply she doesnt care about her team, she clearly regrets losing them, but i feel like the “/ no matter what. /“ overpowers the care factor for this. [H] [J]
Mentions of Justice : 4
Mentions of Care : 1
Mentions of Insufficiency : none
Mentions of Hard Work : 1
overall prevalence
9/10 justice
8/10 care
2/10 insufficiency
10/10 hard work
Tumblr media
after reading all of this i hope we’ve both come to the conclusion that the most important factors in hydro vision users are being caring, a strong sense of justice, and an unbreakable work ethic. the insufficiency part was unfortunately a miss, sorry to whoever made that video.
Tumblr media
ah, but we aren't done yet ! visions are given to those who are most suitable to rise to celestia and become archons, or even more. so, who is the most apt to become the new hydro archon, hypothetically ?
im leaning towards Yelan, she seems the most determined of all of them, even overpowering tartaglia in some senses (though he probably wouldnt be able to be an archon anyways due to being a harbinger.)
Tumblr media
“My ideals have no stains."
I must correct you. People here bear no sins in the eyes of the gods... Only laws and the Tribunal can judge someone."
They can judge even me. So praise my magnificence and purity."
hydro characters and themes of purity is something that interests me a whole lot…
barbara and kokomi are obvious, theyre both religious figures in some form, barbara working for the church and kokomi being a divine priestess
but, with purity comes purging the world of something
barbara wants to purge the world of sadness and illness
kokomi wants to purge inazuma of the cruel effects of the vision hunt decree
mona wants to purge the world of lies
tartaglia purges the world of enemies of the tsaritsa
xingqiu wants to purge the world of criminals
ayato shares the values of xingqiu and mona i believe
and yelan wants to purge the land of liyue of its past mistakes.
i think water itself, being valued in its most pure form having connections to purity is pretty cool.
anyways. i am finally fucking finished with this after like 7 hours of working on it. please reblog if you liked it and also share your opinions and anything i missed in the reblogs or comments
im proud of myself for this one, thanks for reading <3 (and yea i did make all the dividers lmao i’ll post them seperately as well)

in reference to this post, here's my dabihawks love child oc
I'll be using multiple picrews to introduce her and compile all the links I've used at the end, in order of usage for better navigation (i edited some for her eyes). this is gonna be a long post lol rip ur screens
Tumblr media
Name: Takami Hidori
Birthday: May 5 (Taurus)
Age: 23
Height: 5'8 ft (roughly 173 cm)
Quirk: Phoenix from the Ashes
I'll start her introduction with a story- I didn't plan her name. On the search for the characters that could translate to phoenix, I stumbled upon hinotori (火の鳥) (after rejecting houhou 鳳凰 out of fear I use it incorrectly/had little knowledge on its usage). I rlly liked hinotori and planned to just use that despite being kinda long, but when copying the characters I accidentally erased the "no" and we're left with Hidori, which is much catchier and literally just means fire bird. i think someone's alr taken this name for their oc- im sorry idek if im right- but my oc is completely unrelated to theirs, if so!!!
Tumblr media
Hidori's quirk is powerful, and her eyes symbolize the way Dabi's and Hawks' quirk harmonizes in hers. She inherited Hawks' wings, as well as his telepathic control over them (tho she's not as in sync with said telepathic powers over her feathers as her father, but still). Her bird instincts are kinda watered down tho, and it's mostly just in how her wings either harden (like knives) or soften (like how feathers are supposed to be) depending on her mood. She also inherited Dabi's fire- she can control it, unlike her emitter type dad; she can control the fire's path, strength and can put it out
Tumblr media
When she was small, Dabi and Hawks had panicked when she showed signs of inheriting Dabi's fire. Dabi, especially, was scared of their child getting hurt by her power but a trip to the doctor's informed them that while Dabi didn't inherit Endeavor's more fireproof constitution, Hidori did, albeit it's still recessive and only won because Hawks lacked emitter-resistance genes. The doctor promised her body could handle it, and had enough resistance to handle even second degree burns without harm. Dabi still insisted on getting her blockers until she was at least in middle school and Hawks agreed
Tumblr media
The biggest kicker of Hidori's quirk is how she got the name. Unlike Hawks who needs a week at most to recuperate from the loss of feathers, Hidori can regenerate up to three times in a single row by burning her wings and letting new feathers grow. Another trip to the doctor's confirmed that this was what her quirk thought was best when combining both of her fathers' quirks and no, neither the Takamis nor the Todorokis have a regeneration quirk in their near family tree
Tumblr media
Her best friend (who claims to not be friends in a Bakugo reminiscent way) is Miruko and Shigaraki's child- Seiko. This picture was instigated by Hawks ofc. Hidori barely remembers anymore but apparently she had insisted on wearing the suit if she and Seiko ever got married, and Seiko had even agreed
Tumblr media
Seiko inherited most of his mother's traits, and that included her height. By high school, Hidori was alr a head taller than him. Which was fine, he didn't sulk too much about it, he even rides Hidori's back sometimes and calls her a giant... dog. Like best friends do (ill def make another post for seiko lol)
Tumblr media
Hidori cuts her hair on impulse one time- during a much due but constantly put off identity crisis. Her fathers let her do as she pleased ofc, Hawks even asked if she wanted to try out dyeing it when they went to the salon (she declined, bc she liked looking like the taller version of Hawks, but he didn't need to know that)
Tumblr media
More about her:
- She is very dependable, but at the same time reckless. Sociable, but somewhat closed off. She's all of the best and worst of her fathers lmao
- She is pansexual and genderfluid, fine with any pronouns. She got top surgery later in her life too
- She is an underground hero. Both of her fathers tried to keep her away from anything related to heroism but when she persisted, they supported her
- She got Dabi's stubbornness and Hawks' natural charm, she's a menace when she wants something
- She is spoiled by the Todorokis. Shoto in particular used to steal Endeavor's credit card and buy her ice cream when she was small
- Speaking of, Endeavor really really likes her (he was closed off when he learned about Hawks and Dabi but warmed up to his grandchild soon after). Her dads make sure Endeavor gets as little time with her as possible tho
- She has plenty of aunts and uncles from UA bc of Shoto insisting she gets dropped off when he was still studying. Even now when they've graduated and are heroes, Hidori still receives a ton of envelopes in new years and her birthday
- She's a UA graduate herself, top of her class and class pres
- Tokoyami mentored her during a few work studies!!
- She used to get easily motionsick when she first started flying, but it thankfully got less intense when she started training
- She plays the guitar, often too
- She likes photography, catch her insta looking straight out of a Pinterest moodboard
- Her hair used to be such a mess esp since neither of her dads knew what they were doing. they're naturally curly, but when she grew it out it got less curly due to gravity (true story lmao)
- She used to model. Key words are used to (yes it was for the Bakugos leave me alone)
- She can't stand the cold, she and Hawks uses Dabi as a portable heater during winter
- Auntie Rumi loves to team up with her, if only bc her own child reminds her too much of herself
- She went through the seven stages of cringe grief during her teen years and no i will not elaborate
- She is very artistic, and in her days off work she paints- bc ofc she bought a studio for her art the first chance she got
i am out of thoughts but yea that's Hidori! I'll probably make skits w how dabihawks are like as parents lmao but that's all for now, thx for readin

A Cat's Love : Part 1
Tumblr media
I decided to compile the three posts together into one, and change up some things in the story . Also If someone can help me find the artist to this image I'd like to give them the right credit.
Itachi gets turned into a cat during a mission, and is brought to you by Kisame. Your given an explanation by Kisame as Itachi jumps up on one of your side tables in your house. You sit down on the couch next to said table as he walks over to you.
" Leader wants you to take care of Itachi until he's back to normal."
" Don't worry I'll take care of him Kisame. " you say. Kisame leaves Itachi with you and returns to the hideout to tell Leader he has delivered Itachi to you. You look back at the handsome tuxedo cat as he hated that he was going to be a burden on you.
" Meow." you hear as you look back at Itachi as he nudges you apologizing. But you kiss Itachi's head , and tell him you love him, and it's not a burden on you to take care of him. You giggle as you sneakily scratch him behind the ears.
You tell Itachi that you will take care of him, but bless his heart cat or not Itachi still tries to take care of you. Even if its chasing away vermin or protecting you from venomous snakes.
Laying in bed Itachi will give you kitten licks, or curl up on your chest wanting you to hold him as you sleep. Sometimes you think he enjoys being a cat. It gives him some time away from the stressful things in his life.
Being a cat seemed to make him happier, and his illness hadn't acted up while he was in this form. Also you like the fact you were spending more time together
Even so you love him just the same.
As a cat Itachi likes cuddling with you, and your surprised he is somewhat clingy. You also learn that there are two Itachi's controlling his mind. One is himself, and the other is Cat Itachi. You can tell when Itachi is going into that space.
When you go out Itachi gets lonely meowing for you to come back , but you come back with toys to stimulate his cat side. Itachi has a favorite mouse toy that you got him that he carries even to bed. Sometimes Itachi gets the urge to play late at night.
Of course you love him , and give in. You play with Itachi until he goes back to normal. Itachi after feels guilty and headbutts or nuzzles you in apologizing for waking you up. You smile and stroke his fur.
" I'd do anything to make you happy Itachi. Even if it is waking up in the early hours and playing with you. I love you. " You say with a smile as you cuddle with him.
During baths Itachi will sit on the side of the tub or across your shoulders when he wants to experience the steam from the hot bath below. You have his mouse toy with him incase , but usually he is content just sitting on your shoulders.
Tumblr media
Itachi ends up staying a cat for another couple of days which is longer than expected.
But one night after a long play session after dinner . You and Itachi were cuddled in bed. You were listening to Itachi purring as you stroke his fur. Thinking about the passed few days If Itachi was happy then so were you.
" Itachi."
" Row ?" Itachi meows
" I love you. Even if you stay this way I'll always be by your side., and I'll take care of you as long as I can. " you tell him.
Itachi looks up at you only to nuzzle your nose, and your lips. You giggle and give him a kiss back only for Itachi to be enveloped in smoke. You feel arms circling your waist as Itachi returns to normal..
Well sort of..
When the smoke clears it reveals Itachi laying next to you. Itachi notices the look in your eyes as you look at him. Itachi still has cat ears, a tail , paw like hands with claws , fangs and whiskers.
" I love you to row." Itachi says putting a paw like hand on your cheek. Itachi is purring while he takes your hand and began to lick your fingers. Itachi draws you in into his grasp tighter .
The both of you lay in bed up until the afternoon cuddling. When you wake you find Itachi made breakfast for you, and brings it into you when your rise up from your bed. Its a way to thank you, and show his love for you.
Itachi crawls back into bed with you laying his head on your lap after you eat breakfast. You stroke his back as Itachi gets comfortable . Itachi turns to look at you as you giggle.
" Is my lap that comfy ?" you tease.
" Oh yes. It's the perfect spot." Itachi tells you his ears twitching causing your heart to melt. Itachi curls his legs in as well as his tail. But after a few minutes you feel yourself being pulled into Itachi's grasp forcing you to lay down.
But you don't mind as you get to spend time with Itachi, and his cute cat antics.
You , and Itachi go out into a small meadow near your cottage where he likes to lay in the sun. Luckily its warm and you two have a small picnic together. You find it cute when he lays in her lap taking in the sun . Itachi will fall asleep his ears twitching
Itachi especially loves it when you have a picnic at night . The sounds of the night are much clearer to him. After dinner outside your lay cuddled with Itachi sometimes he uses his tail to pull you closer to him.
Itachi will tease you meowing softly in your ear.
" Do you know I love you ?" Itachi asked.
" I love you too. Cat ears and all." you tell him which makes him smile causing him to crawl over top of you. Sometimes it ends in a make out session.
Tumblr media
After another few days you, and Itachi return to the hideout to tell Leader of Itachi's progress. It didn't seem like Itachi's ears or tail were going anywhere. So the others would have to adapt. Deidara and Hidan snicker seeing Itachi's appearance, but he gives them no heed. Itachi just growls and puts a protective arm around you.
As a precaution you go with Itachi, and Kisame on missions to keep an eye out on your catboy lover. You're well prepared as sometimes even as a catboy he has his feline moments.
You carry his mouse toy with you when he needs it. Its become something like a security blanket to him. But it doesn't replace you as his favorite thing to snuggle.
You play with him in the safety of motel rooms, and you go with him outside to walk around areas . Its exciting especially at night. Sometimes you two end up snuggling in the grass.. and possibly more.
Itachi sometimes nips you on the neck as a way of marking you from others. Your his love and mate after all.

got any vanogla headcanons? idc if its in au or not all i know is that I Need Vanogla Content Or I'll Die.
aw fuck don’t die i need every vanogla fan alive if i want to grow my empire
ah jeez, this list is going to be a friggin’ mess so it’ll be under a cut-
general headcanons
here’s my base for hcs when i watch their videos. please remember that these are merely headcanons and may not be true!
*Evan’s only mean to David when Tyler is around; when they’re alone they laugh literally every other sentence and make harmless jokes and its all feel good banter 👍
*they’re both awkward in public and avoid PDA; if u ask them abt their (established) relationship they’ll be very tight-lipped abt it(・θ・)
*its not a headcanon that they’re both born in the same year :) you may have noticed that i draw Evan’s height in line with David’s caterpillar eyebrows so that’s my height diff hc :D
*imo Evan never uses pet names or terms of endearments with David, he’s not comfortable with it, and the furthest he’ll go is “babe”. David comes up with the shittiest, most obnoxious nicknames for Evan as much as possible to make up for it tho, and he’s not afraid to embarrass Evan in public with them xD however the only legit terms of endearment David uses are “dear” and “darling” cuz he’s an old man at heart
*this one is a rather unpopular one but i can never see Evan casually calling daithi “David” instead of “Nogla”. I know its like a relationship milestone to call him by his first name, but i cant see it happening unless its for a joke (e.g David Blaine from one of the vids) so imo daithi will forever be “Nogla” to Evan. (However if it’s AU im completely 100% all for it yes)
*Evan isn’t as smart as David thinks he is (tbh David puts him on a pedestal), and Evan doesn’t actually think David is stupid or dim (shown when he calls David “smurt” when he gives a good idea). i fuckin love it when they discuss solutions to the game together because they’re so quiet and serious in those moments :>
*surprisingly Evan overthinks more than David does; he’s actually a doubtful guy. David’s generally more impulsive than Evan, but he can form a black-or-white opinion depending on the facts he’s given. Evan on the other hand will stay in the grey area- he’ll find some way to balance out both sides (unless it’s morally wrong then hell no- he’s def picking a side)
*idk how to explain this one but i really love the way they say each other’s names. I noticed in some videos that David will keep calling “Evan” multiple times to get his attention and same goes for Evan repeating “Nogla” a buncha times to show or tell David something- and i just find it really cute and dorky.. if i could i would compile all of these moments together (T▽T)
*just sayin’: when they call each other ‘owl’ and ‘lobster’ it sounds flirty as fuck
*this is sappy but i definitely think that Evan is 100% himself when he’s with David. With David, he doesnt have to be the coolass-motherfucker-with-awesome-one-liners, and instead he openly giggles and asks for help/affection without having to filter himself to sound cool (i think this can be seen in some of their videos as well). although he isn’t as comfortable with David when other ppl are around, when they’re on their own Evan can always count on David to be encouraging, supportive and playing along with Evan’s jokes so that’s why Evan is so comfortable with David ( ´ ▽ ` )
*fuckin hell they’ll always come back together; whether as friends or lovers they could never permanently cut each other out of their lives because their lives are so entwined with each other- David having Evan in his thumbnails/in the title, Evan laughing at David’s shenanigans are the highlight of his videos- and no matter how harsh they seem with each other they’ll always bounce back in the end :’)
*i think that they have a closer relationship than casual viewers of the crew think, and so they are forever a memorable aspect of each others lives (ye, theyre my OTP and BrOTP ヽ( ´¬`)ノ)
*despite all’a this, i dont think they need each other, of course they can be independent and go their separate ways. but i just know for a fact that sooner or later they’re gonna see something that reminds them of the other and the memories will remind them of good times ^_^
*err i have like, 1 solid nsfw one and that is neither of them like penetration so they rarely do it. Its not because i have anything against anal, its because i don’t see either of them as people who enjoy being penetrated. Generally I don’t see them as a pair who’d have sex often anyway (^_^;) -however when they do they’d be laughing so much thru it ◎▼◎ (ill be posting a list for this veryverysoon! [update: here it is])
additional headcanons
here’s some of my indulgent hcs ^_^ here’s where the good stuffs at, cuz the general hcs don’t necessarily apply to these ones:
*David pining is my favourite thing ever like he’ll write a lot of songs abt Evan and he’ll post them and say that it’s not for anyone in particular but its a fucking lie because he literally has only one person on his mind when he writes it and sings it but he’ll never tell anyone and he sure as hell won’t tell Evan
*Evan pining is also v good yes :’) He’s fuckin scared that David’ll know that he has a soft spot for the Irish prick so he hides it with jabs and insults. but sometimes his fondness slips thru and his laugh comes out a lot warmer than he’d intended and his eyes linger on David and for a split second it feels like he knows, he fucking knows and yeah it scares him so in the end both of them think their feelings are unrequited woohoo
*i have a love/hate relationship with whipped!Evan cuz it feels like i stripped him of his personality but its the only way i can get him to shower David with affection so Welp he’s staying for the fluff
*whipped!Evan snippets: Evan longingly gazing at David like David would disappear the moment he blinks + Evan being bold and chasing after David because ‘you’re a part of this mess, we’re in this together whether you like it or not’ will really fuck me up
*Evan isn’t as giggly in some of my AUs. i like playing around with his GTA or Gmod-roleplaying personality so he can get pretty closed-off depending on the au. most of the time when he’s in this character, David will be the lighthearted and cheeky one to balance it out c:
*i love to treat David well but i also love to wreck him so cynical!David or insecure!David are some of my fav angst hcs cuz both’ll make him very very frustrated lol
*following the last point, David’s usually the one to fall in love first, but he’s also the one to doubt their relationship- so he’s hesitant of commitment and he’ll say stupid shit just to see if Evan will stay with him despite his flaws.
*lowkey hero/villain au: the way bad-guy-David taunts good-guy-Evan with “little owl” or “little bird” or “plucking/ruffling yer feathers” is like, h o l y shit yes. (And don’t tell me you cant imagine Evan yelling “YOU’RE GOING DOWN” xD)
*for one of my soulmate aus, they’re not soulmates. they’re just two people who fell in love and decided to stay together despite the fact that they’re not “meant to be” cuz they feel like their relationship is valid, even if it doesn’t match up to society’s expectations. another one is that they are soulmates, but despite knowing that they’re supposed to be the perfect complement to each other, their personalities are incompatible as fuck and honestly it’s a mess of misunderstandings hahaha.
*that nsfw hc mentioned previously does not apply to most of my AUs by the way- ngl there’s a lot of sexual tension in my AUs ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Aye that pree much sums up my main headcanons (ノ*゚ー゚)ノ
ive got a few more headcanons for cop au but that’ll come out another day on another post xD also i have a lot of hcs for other aus that ive never fully developed, perhaps ill post those someday as well lol
also sorry for the wait, i hope ye enjoyed despite this being late (::)
holy shit im so obsessed with these two i spent 4 hours typing+editing this fuck

Sure, I'll take Steve Martin's online course then do standup. What could go wrong?
“Are you sure you’re that funny?”
That’s what I get when I tell people I’m focusing on becoming a professional comedian and comedy writer. It’s a valid question. Even if I’m funny enough to captivate a room of drunk friends, can I make a living at it? And by a living, I mean more than just making enough to live in squalor and eat decent pizza.
Steve Martin teaches a class on how to be funny. Yes, staplers can be funny.

As a kid, I reenacted Monty Python scenes so well my classmates thought I might be secretly British. Friends loved it when I did impressions, down to the angry twitch that took over our fourth grade teacher’s eye when the class refused to quiet down.
These days, I always manage to get a chuckle from a stoic exec at a company meeting by sneaking sight gags into PowerPoint presentations. When I worked at Lucasfilm, I once snuck a horrible oil painting of a dog playing the ukulele into George Lucas’ priceless art collection that hangs on the walls. I didn’t get fired, so I figured he got the joke.
But there’s a big difference between making friends, classmates and co-workers laugh, and being funny on stage in front of strangers. So I decided to up my game by taking a MasterClass about comedy taught by comedian Steve Martin. The $90 online course (that’s about £65 or AU$119) includes 25 video lessons that add up to over five hours dissecting every aspect of comedy — from finding your comedic voice to dealing with hecklers.
I’ve taken MasterClasses before — one taught by filmmaker Werner Herzog left me feeling eager to direct a documentary and another led by astronaut Chris Hadfield convinced me visiting Mars didn’t seem so alien. So why not learn the ins and outs of comedy from a man whose humor has earned him an honorary Academy Award and several Grammys?
“I never actually thought I was funny,” Martin confesses in his MasterClass video trailer. “You may think you don’t have any talent. I guarantee you I had no talent. None. I couldn’t sing, dance or act. I couldn’t tell jokes. But I just started doing it, because I liked it.”
Martin stresses throughout his class that ‘doing comedy alone on stage is the ego’s last stand.’
That might sound like the worst pitch ever from a teacher, but it’s comforting to know one of the most prolific names in comedy started at the bottom before going on to appear on Saturday Night Live, play sold-out stadiums and appear in more than 45 films. And he’s still going. He and Martin Short have a May 25 Netflix original comedy special called Steve Martin and Martin Short: An Evening You Will Forget For The Rest Of Your Life.
In one week, I binged all of Martin’s videos while lounging on my couch in my PJs. Some videos are one-on-one lessons and pep talks. In the rest, he interacts with lucky hand-picked would-be comedians and comedy writers about their work. Watching the videos, I laughed out loud and nodded my head as though I was right in the room with Martin. The lessons range from around 11 to 20 minutes.
Here’s Steve Martin giving advice to some very lucky students in his online class.

The class includes videos and a downloadable workbook with reviews of the lessons, challenges and assignments, which might include watching one of Martin’s film or TV performances. The thing about taking an online course like this is there’s no one around to nag you about completing your lessons. It’s up to you, and I took it seriously. I finished every written assignment — downloadable PDFs you complete after each video lesson.
One lesson suggested eavesdropping on arguments and mining them for material, so I did that when writing in cafes or standing in line at the post office. Sure enough, I heard a woman talking on the phone say, “I don’t care that you think whale sounds are soothing to listen to. It creeps me out that you put them on when we have sex.”
How could I NOT use that in a future act? I incorporated it into a piece about the worst things to play to get in the mood for romance — whale sounds, bird calls, car crash sound effects and Enya.
Overcoming a lack of talent makes you unique.
Steve Martin
I also spent time reading my classmates’ comments in an online class forum where you can share your works in progress and ask peers for help if you’ve hit a roadblock. One student suggested trying new material in places other than comedy clubs and bars to take some of the pressure off — spots like laundromats, office break rooms and family gatherings. I also learned it’s best to not try out jokes on people like hairdressers, manicurists and waiters because they might laugh at anything just to get a better tip.
In addition to the students’ advice, Martin’s class was worth it just for his insight on the basic do’s and don’ts that a lot of comics aren’t privy to in the beginning of their careers. Here are some highlights:
Do’s and don’ts of comedy
Do go where the action is. If you want to be a comedian or a comedy writer, you have to move to a place where the comedy is, like New York, Chicago, Los Angeles or Toronto. There’s a big appetite for new talent in the entertainment industry, so why not increase the chances you’ll be the one who ends up at the right place at the right time? You could be at a party or a club that becomes an opportunity to show what you can do.
Do talk comedy with friends and others with similar goals. This doesn’t mean just having a quick chat about comedy. The kind of discussions you need to have will last for days. Pitch ideas, talk about topics not covered by comedians yet, hone your ideas. Something will come out of these conversations.
Do think about comedy all the time. Always think of the joke. Everything you see, hear, smell and feel is usable. Eavesdrop on conversations, pay attention to the oddball things that happen in your daily life. Take notes. Critique TV sitcoms and standup comedians. This all adds up to perfecting your comedy skills in both performing and writing.
Do educate yourself. Learn something new. Read more. Every time you understand a new topic, you get more subject matter for your routine. You never know what will inspire you. I learned Morse code just so I could say an entire punchline in a series of beeps.
Don’t be intimidated by starting with nothing. Sometimes not having performance skills already perfected means you can be creative. If you can’t dance or sing, that’s OK. You can fake dancing and singing, and make that funny. I once did a standup routine wearing tap shoes just to imply I might try to dance, but never did. It got a great laugh.
Don’t worry about being an introvert. Most comedians are introverts in real life, but the minute they hit the stage they have a place to shine. The stage is where you can let loose and be heard.
Don’t fret about getting head shots and an agent. Before you worry about the marketing end of being a comedian, concentrate on being a good comedian. Spend more time honing your craft than trying to become famous.
There’s room for you
Comedy pointers aside, Martin’s heartfelt pep talks made me think this dream of becoming a standup comedian and comedy writer isn’t so far-fetched.
“Whatever makes you unique as a performer, do it,” Martin says in Lesson 24. “Overcoming a lack of talent makes you unique. If you prepare yourself, you can be in the right place at the right time. It can be done. There’s room for you.”
That’s especially good to know when you’re a comic like me who bombs a lot. Sometimes my routines get great laughs, but the same routine the next night could fail to get even the kind of courtesy applause reserved for audiences that have to clap when less-than-talented kids take the stage at school performances. But knowing there’s room even for the triangle-players of comedy like me makes me try even harder to get the laugh.
It’s showtime!
I was finally ready to put Martin’s advice into action with my first standup performance since taking the class. My friend and comedian Joseph Scrimshaw invited me to perform in his new Los Angeles show for geeks called Game Night: A Variety Show. Musicians, comedians and actors share the stage for music, standup and a bit of improv to entertain a small audience (under 100 people) for an hour or two.
Here I am looking (kind of) like a professional comedian in my first standup show after taking Steve Martin’s online class.
Bonnie Burton
It seemed like the perfect place to try Martin’s techniques.
My comedy is less about telling jokes, and more about telling funny stories about my life as an awkward farm kid and a Goth teenager. I mix in a few tales about working for disorganized tech startups and an iconic movie company. Think Sixteen Candles meets Silicon Valley meets 30 Rock.
I recounted childhood stories about tricking friends into eating grasshoppers by making them think they tasted like mint chocolate and being bullied as a teen after getting my braces caught in shag carpeting while laughing too hard at a popular girl’s slumber party. That earned me an off-color nickname for years.
I got more confident when I allowed time for the audience to laugh without talking over them. Instead of letting my mind race to the next thought, I enjoyed the moment.
The only mistake I made during my set was focusing on a few audience members who looked bored. Really bored.  Like the kind of bored where you can tell they’re mentally compiling a grocery list.
It threw me for a loop when I should have focused on my next bit. Granted, those audience members could have zoned out way before I took the stage — especially the teenager who looked like he was about to slip into a stoner coma at any second.
Martin did mention in his class that he always looks at the top of people’s heads, not directly in their eyes, when he’s on stage, just in case he gets a bad reaction to a joke. Luckily, I zapped back into focus by looking at people in the crowd who were laughing at my stories and managed to stay on track.
Here’s a nervous selfie of me backstage before my first standup gig since taking the class.
Bonnie Burton
Using Martin’s techniques I got a lot more laughs than when l played at San Francisco Sketchfest and variety shows and in a comedy webseries. The applause at the end of my set fed my ego enough to give me a boost of energy to participate in the show’s group improv skit at the end. We acted out what it would be like if cats could become more powerful than human superheroes. The audience loved it. I counted this as a win.
A few weeks later, I performed an impromptu comedy skit behind the podium at an academic conference at my alma mater, the University of Colorado at Boulder. The head of the conference had heard I was a comedy writer and asked if I could entertain everyone at a welcome dinner after the university president and other important alumni said a few words.
I had nothing prepared, but with Martin in my head, I was able to wing it and earn some laughs joking about politics, science and the conference itself. (As waiters cleared the tables, I joked about security at the event being so tight, the staff was collecting DNA from our wine glasses.)
Bonnie Burton (middle) stands on stage with other comedians for the final improv act during Game Night: A Variety Show at Geeky Teas in Los Angeles.
Joseph Scrimshaw
I know I’m not Tina Fey or Amy Schumer, though I dream of rising to that level of comedic genius. Martin’s class helped motivate me to not just talk about wanting to be funnier in my standup routines, but to try hard whenever I get the opportunity — whether on stage, in a friend’s variety show or at an academic conference.
More advice from the pros
While Martin didn’t comment for my article, a few of my favorite comedy writers and comedians did give me their advice on how to be funnier. Here’s what they had to say:
“Tweet your jokes, make shorts and videos, put up shows on stages. The only way to get good at comedy is to do it A LOT. Every ‘overnight comedy success’ has a good decade of working their butt off that you didn’t see happen.” — Ashley Black, comedy writer on Full Frontal with Samantha Bee
“Know you and be you. Trust your thoughts and make sure you have fun first. Enjoy yourself. If you don’t think you’re funny, no one one else will either.” — George Wallace, standup comedian and actor
“Have a good sense of irony and observe the world around you from that perspective.” — Laraine Newman, comedian and original cast member of Saturday Night Live
“Get up in front of audiences, hone your material and delivery, get comfortable with performing. If you’re a writer, study scene structure and joke structure and understand the mechanics of jokes while writing every day to hone your voice. Basically, it’s a lot of honing.” — Hal Lublin, improv performer and voiceover actor
“Build it and they will come. I wasn’t given opportunities until I made my own. I wrote and starred in my own series and films because nobody was doing that for me.” — Melinda Hill,  comedian and actor
“Find an open mic if you want to do standup. Find a publication that takes open submissions if you want to be a comedy writer. You’ll get rejected again and again, but that’s what literally everyone goes through. Even the best, smoothest people had some missteps. Don’t be afraid of failure.” — Mike Drucker, comedian and writer on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon
“I’ve done sketch, standup, improv, theater, children’s theater, audience interactive theater, storytelling, historical costumed character walking tours, and I had a job shrink-wrapping knives where everyone laughed at you if you cut yourself. Getting to know the mood, the perspective, the rhythm of different audiences helps expand your view of what comedy can be.” — Joseph Scrimshaw, comedian and writer
Martin stresses throughout his class that “doing comedy alone on stage is the ego’s last stand,” and while I was initially scared of failing in front of an audience, his words reminded me that performing comedy isn’t about boosting my self-esteem. It’s about putting myself out there to try to make people laugh. I don’t want courtesy clapping or a forced laugh, but the kind that makes drinks squirt out their noses. Snot cocktail fountains for everyone!
