2020.01.19 HAZUKI 20th ANNIVERSARY 「奏艶」

A report or should I rather say what I remember from Hazuki's MCs 🤣

Hamamatsucho is not really a concert area... it's actually a business district. But the venue was amazing, very theatre-ish with amazing chandeliers and red carpet in the lobby, and red curtains hiding the stage. Also, the audience was gradually rising so the view of stage was great (especially that today I had 逆最前 seat 😂).

I believe they played the whole Verspertine from Bjork as the BGM♥ So already that was an amazing start!

When the time to start the show came the curtain opened to show the musical ensemble of (from left) piano, percussion, 4 violins, viola, cello and uprightbass.

There was another curtain in the back with some videos. That curtain opened slightly to present Hazuki, who first stood still in a dramatic pose, then he made it even more dramatic when he raised his arms to encourage fans to greet him with applause😂

Somehow it felt like fans were quieter than usual, probably because venue was bigger than usual and felt more formal.

They played first 3 songs after which Hazuki welcomed us to the 20th anniversary show. He was also joking about feeling nervous.

He then asked us which Souen performance is it and was and got silence in response...😂

Silence is not something that happens during lynch or Hazuki's shows so he pouted saying 'you don't actually like me, huh'😂

He asked us again and fans started to shout this time '5th time!'.

Hazuki: so why didn't say it earlier!🤔

(honestly I didn't know how to count the Souen in Shinagawa that had two parts, now I know xD)

He was next joking about his hand's position when he comes on stage, when he starts to sing he raises his hand, but before that it's placed very near his crotch. Hazuki told us that in the past he came on stage with unzipped pants and now he's often worried and wants to check but of course he can't😂

He also reminded us about forgetting a jacket for the show in Shinagawa😂

He commented that he came to this venue for the first time, same as most of the fans. He talked about the venue, that you can feel its history.

He also commented that his 20th anniversary as 葉月 was actually in 2019, but it's still January so it works somehow...somehow.😂

He asked if so many people came because it's the 20th anniversary, but almost no one raised their hands. Hazuki was surprised 'so you'd have come even just for a normal show?' He was surprised because the capacity of the venue was 1500, much bigger than his previous shows, so he felt he 'leveled up'. They had a long discussion with the manager about the size of the venue when choosing a place.

Hazuki also commented that Souen is actually not a solo project, there's the whole team especially including the musicians.

For the second part the back curtain opened to surprise us with the addition of traditional Japanese music instruments, from the left drums (wadaiko), shakuhachi, erhu and koto. They played an instrumental piece and were absolutely BRILLIANT. They playd together the 2nd and 3rd block of songs (basically most of the covers).

Hazuki left the stage after the 1st block and he came back wearing an open kimono over his suit (minus the jacket).

And then the performance got even more brilliant. I just hope Hazuki will stay as generous as usual and share some videos with us!🙏

When they finished the 2nd part Hazuki commentedd on increasing the number of instruments and that he thinks usually fans don't have many chances to see Japanese instruments played live. UNLESS it's in places like soba restaurants😂 but he thinks they create great atmosphere, they sound amazing live. He told us that many fans tell him about becoming interested in some artist he covers so he sees it as a very good point of Souen.

The kimono he was wearing was the same one he wore for the photo shoot for ROCK AND READ.

but then he complained it's too hot😂

He turned to the musicians to tell them it's fine if they need to tune their instruments. But when they started he joined the sound by making noises aka singing tuning sounds😂 he then scolded himself '邪魔だ・I'm in a way, oopsie'

Next, he talked about the history of Souen - starting from the show in Takadanobaba Club Phase which is TINY (150 ppl seated) and there were many fans crying they couldn't get tickets. They moved towards halls/seated venues. But the 2nd one was cancelled (because of AK...). He was joking that comparing the start the capacity increased 10 times (from 150 ppl to 1500).

Next was funny talk that apparently he thinks many people don't want to answer when asked 'what kind of band are you into?' because lynch. has a scary image and they don't want to be judged.

He also said that when changing into kimono he wanted to use the toilet but the toilet backstage was too far. So he went to the common one. Male fans should think about it going to the toilet after the show😂

He then told us that one of the songs (Lemon) he's covering is a very unexpected song, but he really loves it.

Before they started next block of songs he turned to musicians again and apologized for talking so much when from today there were musicians who were standing during the performance the whole time. He meant Wagakki musicians, but - tbc😂

When they finished the 3rd block Hazuki introduced all the musicians playing the Japanese instruments and then they left.

Hazuki: 'weren't they cool? Ah, this kimono is so hot, finally I can take it off'.

He commented that B'z has so many more famous songs but he loves Raging River.

At the end of that song Hazuki went down on his knees, but he told us it wasn't because of the song, he lost power in his legs due to the instruments/musicians being so cool😂

He asked us whas the name of the upcoming lynch.'s album and there was a very timid response. He was 😶 he told us to pretend it's lynch.'s concert or to think of shimote (it's an ongoing joke about how crazy are the fans of Yuusuke and Akinori.. ) and he got a much louder 'ULTIMA!!!' which got him to laugh that for band's concert it's different.

Then he was joking about his own name, there are only two characters, but there's another artist with a short name - Kiyoharu. He said his name in the most fanboyish voice possible😂 He talked about how on ticket site the show was listed with his name instead of 奏艶.

After lots of talking when he didn't get the usual loud responde he turned to the musicians again and asked them 'are those people really my fans?'😂 yeah, we do love you, Hazuki!🤣

He also did a fan survey checking if fans prefer one part or two part concerts (two part style got more votes). This time they went with one part because of the big capacity (but it got sold out splendidly).

He was wondering where will Souen be held next, he always talks about lynch. playing at Budokan xD but then they can change it, lynch. will aim at 35000 capacity, Souen can be held in Budokan😂 'please let me borrow your strength'

Eternity finished with falling rose petals on the stage which was sweet, but. The pianist had to push them off from her music sheets😂

After the final block of songs Hazuki commented how his singing changed in the end, he went much more rough, shouted. He's a bandoman so he can't sing 'cleanly'.

Hazuki was wondering when he will be able to have next Souen, but he said lynch. will be busy from now on with their 15th anniversary project, there's much more to come! But he feels waiting a year is long.

At the end when we weren't happy it's the time for the last song Hazuki told us: 'you're going drinking after this, right? Good! And then you will be criticizing the show, right? Like the punk did this and that. That's fine! I find that interesting!'😂

And as the last part, Hazuki FINALLY noticed the upright bass guy and exclaimed 'you've been standing the whole time?!? Let's go drinking now...'😂

💝 Screen Queen Unexpected Season, Épisode 3 :

Cendrillon & la Tea Party, partie 1 ft. Togame 💖

…Il était deux* fois~ (oui, car je l’ai déjà dit une première fois, et littéralement c’était bien la deuxième fois, bref !) dans le QG d’Eel~ Deux Gardiennes qui étaient clairement comme le Jour & la Nuit : Togame & Sugariel ! (plutôt l’inverse…)

Il me semble qu’elles ont toujours été là… ou du moins j’ai la flemme de vérifier mais à mes yeux Togame était toujours là, et vice versa, c’étaient des anciennes quoi. Des vieilles dames âgées ! C’est un grand détail à prendre en compte autant pour l’une que pour l’autre d’ailleurs ! (Retenez bien pour tout ce qui va suivre)

Bref ! Assez parler à la troisième personne (sinon elle va encore s’en servir pour me vanner 8′D) …et donc, de ce que je me souviens, il m’a fallu un certain temps avant de réellement prendre conscience d'Existence avec un grand E de ce $pécimen de Gardienne en particulier, dénommée Togame, qui a mes yeux… est un $pécimen Unique en son genre ! Et moi ce qui est Unique ça m’attire direct. (nan on se calme rien de “Love $tory” là dedans x’)

De ce que je me souviens, j’ai vraiment commencé à “connaître” Togame grâce à un topic : Miss Faemous !

J’étais bien contente en ce temps paisible - où Loplo ne semblait pas encore exister (mais apparemment oui ?) - d’avoir fait partie des Miss Faemous du Forum “apparemment” même si je n’ai jamais compris pourquoi, moi tout ce que je faisais c’était faire des jolies tenues et être sans complexe depuis le début… du coup je pense que la seule réelle raison que je vois qui a fait que vous aviez été plusieurs à m’élire (dont Synder ! Oui ! Je vous jure ! Incroyable !), c’était parce que vous voyiez mon investissement sur le Fan Club d’Alajéa. Je ne vais pas faire la Modeste là dessus je me suis toujours donné à fond comme personne sur mon seul et unique topic, le Fan Club d’Alajéa. Bref : Clairement c’était la seule chose qui me retenait sur le Forum. (et vous savez la suite donc :D !)

…Et Togame alors ? Togame a été élue Miss Faemous aussi ! Je me souviens… j’ai vu plein de votes pour elle, et je me disais “Mais c’est qui cette Togame ? Je l’ai jamais vu sur la section du Jeu Eldara !” …et plus j’y pense et plus il me semble que c’était la première Gardienne a faire un vrai Commentaire Littéraire sur le Livre d’Or *clin d’oeil* (bah oui, utilisons les bons termes hein ;P) …du coup oui, il m’a semblé logique qu’avec une telle Audace Littéraire, plein de personnes ont voulu la soutenir, l’épauler, la féliciter pour son avis bien construit, toussa toussa, je suppose hein…

Mais de toutes les Miss Faemous c’était la seule Miss Faemous dont je ne savais rien ! Que je n’avais jamais vu ! Ou alors vite fait deux trois fois, mais… je n’ai pas compris. Je voulais donc comprendre qui était cette Faemeuse Togame ! Bon, pas au point de l’ajouter en amie car… humm… elle faisait un peu peur xD ? Naaan elle serait trop contente si je dis ça. Disons que ce n’était pas le genre de Gardiennes que je fréquente d’habitude. Attention ne dites pas ce que je n’ai pas dis, donc enlevez vous certains clichés de merde de vos têtes x’) …merci.

Bref, au fond je m’en foutais un peu d’elle, j’étais trop ailleurs, occupée par-ci, par-ça, autrement dit les épisodes à l’époque où je les faisais encore, mes tenues, les Events, le Fan Club d’Alajéa, et puis même d’autres personnes plus intéressantes à mes yeux. BREF : Pas le temps de m’intéresser tant que ça à quelqu’un qui ne semble pas s’assortir avec moi…Au début !

Puis~ un jour, je ne sais plus pourquoi, mais je sais qu’il y a un jour où je me suis aventuré au Champ des Ludi ! Le Château de Cendrillon ! A l’époque où Synder n’était pas encore Modératrice ! (autrement dit, elle n’existe pas pour le moment ! Ni Loplo ! …ou si, mais on s’en fout, pour le moment.) et, c’est là ainsi que je me rends compte qu’en fait Togame est très attive au Champ des Ludis, tandis que moi j’étais plus active sur la Section du Jeu Eldarya. Section qui a toujours appartenu à Chupalovely ! (et c’est un détail Hyper Important à retenir ! …toujours lié au cas de Synder !)

Bref, du coup vu que je suis enfin sur le Territoire de Miss Togame *clin d’oeil à notre passion commune des chats* (ouiii ! J’aurai dû te caresser dans le sens du poil comme ça en fait 8D …alleeez ! Mon champ lexical est top là hein ?) …je disais quoi déjà ? …OUI ! Donc, ~suite logique~ :

On se croise ! ET : Clash clash CLASH !

…Ah non mais je vous jure qu’il faudrait screener chacun de nos échanges, parce que c’est toujours Incroyable ! Je vous jure x’D !

Je suis quasiment sûr du contexte : Moi, en tant que Princesse Disney attitrée du QG, en ce temps j’étais clairement ce que tout le monde qualifie de “bisounours”, j’étais toujours très gentille (TROP gentille x’), très ouverte à tout (toujours !), toujours là pour égayer le Forum, bref : Je faisais mon boulot quoi ! …maaaaaaaais ma personnalité dérangeait - DEJA - Togame ! Je m’en souviens comme si c’était hier. Du coup elle m’envoyait plein de piques… des trucs juste pour me faire chier clairement… juste pour casser mon délire et me faire passer pour une conne… donc qu’est-ce que je fais ? Je l’ignore ? Nope ! Ignorer n’a jamais existé entre nous ;D !

J’étais blessé par ses piques honnêtement. C’était une époque où… non pas que je cherchais à plaire à tout le monde mais je ne voulais juste pas qu’on qu’on croit des choses fausses sur moi alors que personne d’autre que moi ne connait ma vie, donc me faire passer pour ce que je ne suis pas m’insupporte plus que tout ! C’est signé son arrêt de mort clairement ! (Loplo prends note $alope, la prochaine fois tu sauras !)

Je déteste à une Puissance Intergalactique qu’on se foute de moi, et qu’on m’invente une vie !

(C’est précisément pour ça que je vais faire Payer Bee’tch’moov :D ! Vous m’avez pris pour une Conne, mais au final vous êtes tellement pire que s’en est drôle un tel niveau de Conneries.)

Bref. Donc. Je décide d’ajouter finalement Togame. Parce que je tenais à avoir une conversation avec elle. Je tenais à ce qu’elle me connaisse tout simplement avant de me juger. Je me souviens même qu’elle s’était vanté publiquement que je l’ajoute en disant un truc du genre “je m’y attendais” bref.

C’était une discussion juste chaotique… je me souviens que je m’emportais encore plus car, elle était vraiment…je vais pas dire “méchante” parce qu’elle va trop aimer ce mot mais… têtue. Très très très trèèèèèès têtue. Mais têtue de chez têtue ! Je pensais sincèrement qu’il n’y avait pas plus têtue qu’elle ! Pendant des années entières j’ai pensé ça !

Du coup je l’ai bloqué parce qu’elle m’a saoulé.

Et donc ensuite qu’est-ce que je fais ? Bah en tant que digne Gossip Girl, je vais raconter mon Drama à quelques contacts en mode : “ah mais tu sais pas ce qu’elle m’a fait ?! OUAAAIS ! Elle m’a fait ça D’x !! Elle a dit ça et ça et toussaaaaa D’8 ! ! ! Je la déteste !!! OUAAAAIN OUAAAIN OUAAAIN !” …là clairement je pense que je m’abaissais exactement à ce qu’elle attendait de moi x’) #DramaQueen

Mais je me souviens surtout d’une Gardienne que j’adore, Rubane ! Quand je lui ai confié mon petit Drama, elle est devenue super froide. Et je ne sais plus si d’autres de mes contacts le sont devenu aussi, mais je sais que s’en prendre à Togame ce n’est pas n’importe quoi ! C’est un Fait. Un Fait que j’ai pris en compte.

Je crois même avec certitude qu’à cause de ça plein de personnes ont commencé à me détester MAIS aussi l’inverse ! Des personnes sont également venu me soutenir !

Je vous l’ai dit : Le Jour & la Nuit !

Bref. Le discours habituel c’était “ouiiii mais tu saaais Togame elle fait de super Fictions, tu devrais pas te montrer si dure avec elle !” …c’était totalement la Chanson Habituelle ! Et c’est un détail hyper important justement. (retenez bien !)

En soit j’ai jamais zieutté les Fanfictions de Togame mais je prenais en compte le fait que pour beaucoup de personnes Togame est une personne Talentueuse qui devait surement avoir une super personnalité avec ça.

Mais bref, une fois bloquée, j’ai plus du tout cherché à la croiser, je crois même que ça doit être pour ça que j’ai été dégoûté une première fois du Champ des Ludi… je crois honnêtement que le Champ des Ludi a toujours été une Section malaisante pour moi. Je ne me sentais jamais la bienvenue. Donc je restais exclusivement sur le Section de Chupalovely - pendant des années !

…du coup les années sont passées, il me semble que de temps en temps je repassais quand même sur le Champ des Ludi mais c’était très rare. Cependant…

Il y avait maintenant une “Shion” ! mais avec des accents*

Vous allez trouver ça incroyable mais je ne savais PAS DU TOUT que Shion était Togame ! Mais pas du tout quoi. Moi je pensais que Togame en a eu marre d’Eldarya donc elle a fini par partir tout simplement, elle rageait beaucoup après tout, et que cette “Shion” à mes yeux c’était juste une nouvelle gardienne chiante ! Comme dit je n’allais pas souvent sur le Champ des Ludi et encore moins dans la Section des Contes d’Eel !

Donc Shion ? …I don’t know her ! Who’s that ?! Is she.. ? No way !

BREF. Au bout d’un moment j’ai fini par comprendre que c’était Togame, et vous savez quoi ? C’était l’année dernière ! En 2019 ! Autrement dit j’étais la seule personne à ne pas savoir que Shion = Togame ! (enfin je pars du principe que “tout le monde se connait à force” xD …mais oui tmtc !)

Mais ! …quelque chose de suprenant s’est produit…

J’ai vu Shion, donc disons Togame, venir sur le Fan Club d’Alajéa… mon topic ! (enfin, mon ancien topic, et t’inquiètes pas que j’arrive à toi Synder. Tsss.. Connasse.)

Elle est venu participer à l’activité de Création de Ionée, et… je pensais que c’était une grosse farce, mais elle a vraiment fait une participation de qualité concernant le background possible de Ionée, notre deuxième OC du Fan Club pour rappel* …quand je l’ai vu je me suis dis qu’elle a fait pour me faire chier, qu’elle devait s’ennuyer, donc “allez allons faire chier Sugariel !” mais comme j’avais ça en tête, eh bien je l’ai accueilli à bras ouverts ! Pour que nous jouions mutuellement à “je te teste tu me testes par la Littératureuh, la première qui clashera aura un Ban-nis-s’ment !” …bon, du coup malheureusement elle n’a pas gagné, et donc elle n’est plus revenu après. Maaaaais voyant quand même ce Bon Geste (qui était bien un bon geste à ce que j’ai compris mais “pas me concernant vraiment” …ouais ouais je vais quand même me dire que ça me concernait quand même hein 8D ! Et je t’en remercie toujours. Bref. #MasoMaisSincère) je lui refais une demande d’amitié, histoire d’enfiiiiin peut-êêêtre enterrer la hâche de guerre avec une de mes Haters et que se croiser ne soit plus un supplice (tu notes Loplo ? Notes bien $alope, pour les prochaines fois. $alope. Tsss.) …mais nothing. Elle ignore. Ok. Pas de soucis, c’était une fausse joie.

…Puis vient le “Il était deux fois !” (Clash clash CLASH !)

Rien à voir avec son bon geste cité plus haut, mais disons que en Décembre, vu que l’Activité de la Section de Chupalovely commençait à manquer, je m’aventure donc sur la Section de Synder ! Le Château de Cendrillon ! …mais là vraiment de façon plus journalière. Du coup bah évidement je croise plus que d’habitude Shion, enfin Togame mais avec une moustache, et donc on se croise, tout le monde est en mode “tu ignores que j’ai mangé du poulet/ oui j’ai deux chats. Quel est ta couleur préférée ?”, mais moi j’étais plus genre “tu ignores que je suis dégoûté parce que je n’ai plus de chocolats c’est la fin du monde D’x !!!” mais mon kiff c’était surtout le Topic “Je jure de dire la vérité” où je demandais des trucs inhabituels du genre : “Que penses-tu des cailloux ?!” ou encore “A ton avis, pourquoi les escargots n’ont pas de nez °-° ?!” …mais vu que la majorité des gens sont trop habitués entre eux - et dooonc ont leur propres “délires”, moi je passais juste pour une folle. Mais j’adorai ça ! Parce que j’étais là pour m’amuser ! On est sur un jeu, donc ça me semblait logique de s’amuser sur un jeu. Plutôt que de répondre à des trucs à mon sens “déjà-vu” et donc “futiles” …genre les trucs du style “oui j’ai bien une chaise chez moi.” ou “non ma couleur préférée n’est pas le rouge.” …en fait, j’avais décidé de varier un peu tout simplement. Histoire de voir des trucs plus originaux apparaître, en me disant que ça pouvait être Fun… par chance j’ai réussi à en faire rire plus d’un mais je me prenais aussi des piques.

Breeeeef, et donc…CLASH CLASH CLASH :

Je ne me laissais pas atteindre parce que j’étais là pour m’amuser, donc si certains sont un peu coincés c’est leur problème pas le mien. Je partais du principe que si ma façon de jouer plait pas du moment que je suis conforme j’ai pas à m’arrêter d’être comme je suis juste parce que certains ne sont pas assez ouverts d’esprit et veulent trop “se donner un genre”. (mais vous êtes tellement Fake sérieux ! Si vous êtes réellement coincés comme ça dans la vraie vie, moi je trouve ça méga triste ! Je ne vous envie point encore aujourd’hui, même en étant bannie de “votre” Forum. Breeeef)

…Et puis Togame ! Oui ! Enfin ! La revoilà ! BIM ! O0oooh ! Eww :

Elle avait recommencé à me piquer. MAIS cette fois-ci je me laissais pas atteindre, donc elle continuait. Encore, encore, encore. Je me souviens d’une de ses phrases d’ailleurs “si tu étais dans ma salle de cours je te collerai pour perturber autant le cours !” …ce à quoi j’avais envie de répondre “euh ouais mais je me pensais sur un Jeu pas dans une salle de cours chiante justement u__u .!.” (sachant qu’en plus J’ADORE faire chier les profs xD C’est simple à partir du moment que tu fais “le bonhomme avec moi” moi je suis en mode “B!TCH ! Fais ton cours et après tu reviendras me parler au Contrôle quand j’aurai la meilleure note !” …HISTOIRE VRAIE ! …nan mais dans ma tête xD …parce que sans me vanter je suis $uper Bon Élève ! BREF ! Oh mon dieu cette parenthèse est longue…) hum hum… DU COUP : Là, je décide d’être intelligente. Donc je refais une demande d’amité à Togame, toujours pour m’expliquer, qu’on s’explique, qu’on règle ça en adultes, qu’on apprenne à se connaître, ENTERRER LA PUTAIN DE HÂCHE DE GUERRE (Loplo tu es toujours là ?! Hum hum. $alope.) …mais elle me bloque. Alala~ Togame Togame… x’D

Je suis assez frustré, donc je sors un truc du genre : “tu ignores que je suis déçu qu’elle ne voulait pas discuter avec moi, elle a surement préféré la lâcheté… :rolleyes:” (ouiii c’est un peu de la provocation Synder, je sais je sais, sauf que j’ai cité personne donc ta gueule Connasse.) ET ! Vu que mon petit clin d’oeil fonctionne, BIM : ON PREND LE THÉ ! CLASH CLASH CLASH ! On enchaîne : CLASH CLASH CLASH ! …puis à un moment j’étais en mode “Mdrrrr c’est bon j’ai compris qu’en fait c’est ma Positivité qui te dérange !” ce à quoi elle a répondu “moi les gens hype me dérangent, ils veulent trop entraînter les gens dans leurs délires !!!” …et là j’ai tout gagné ! Je voulais vraiment l’entendre dire que c’est ma personnalité qui la dérange ! C’était ça que je voulais savoir depuis le début :

Pourquoi Togame me déteste ? Maintenant je sais.

Mais honnêtement je trouvais ça super dommage, et c’était ça qui était frustrant, parce que on me disait sans arrêt que Togame est une personne formidable, même ma “jumelle” elle m’a carrément bloqué après ça, m’a traité de Toxique, breeef, moi je ne comprenais pas… et je voulais comprendre… comprendre autant pourquoi elle me détestait autant, mais aussi comprendre ce qui se cachait derrière sa carapace car Togame semblait vraiment Intéressante. Mais vraiment ! Rien à voir avec une Synder fade et hypocrite qui n’a que ses tenues pour plaire, ou une Loplo dont le but de sa vie est de conquérir le Forum tout entier et lécher le cul de tout le monde parce que dans les deux cas elles n’ont rien de mieux à faire de leur vie clairement pathétiques…

Togame à mes yeux semblait avoir des tas de choses à dire, et être quelqu’un de réellement Franc.

Ça me frustrait de me dire que “parce que elle est têtue” et m’a collé l’étiquette “bisounours/hype” sur la tête je devais donc “forcément” faire la guerre avec elle éternellement et donc passer à coté de plein de choses que plein de gens ont vu mais pas moi. C’était ça qui me frustrait la concernant, contrairement à des tooooonnes de personnes que je trouve fades et qui n’ont que leurs tenues pour plaire - comme Synder.

En fait pour revenir à Miss Faemous, malgré sa personnalité de Connasse assumée (mais Honnête), au fil du temps j'ai bien compris que Togame était un $pécimen Unique en son genre.

Et apprendre à connaître toujours plus car je suis persuadé que des fois certaines personnes cachent des choses fantastiques que personne n’aurait pensé ! Je pense à Letalis déjà ! Ainsi que Godiee ! L’une fait peur à première vue, et l’autre est hyper dévouée ! …mais qui l’aurait cru ? Bah il faut apprendre à connaître les gens pour savoir tout ça, plutôt que juger sans connaître. Ça éviterait des Dramas - JUSTEMENT x’) !

Un détail qui a son importance en tout cas, à mes yeux, c’est que j’ai finalement réussi à avoir des discussions sérieuses avec Togame ! - après mon Bannissement à vie ! …boooon elle m’a insulté toutes les deux lignes, mais comme je lui ai dis : Je le savais depuis le début qu’elle avait des choses intéressantes à partager.

Conclusion : Il fallait juste faire la part des choses~

…oui et puis c’était surtout surprenant que mes “supposées-amies” m’abandonnent quasiment toutes, MAIS c’est Togame qui vient finalement discuter avec moi ! …Non mais le Rebondissement quoi !

Bref. Honnêtement elle mérite qu’on parle d’elle. c’est une Connasse mais une Connasse intéressante ET intelligente. (même si à mon sens elle utilise pas très bien son intelligence et c’est ÇA qui est regrettable ! …car elle va surement m’insulter maintenant, me bloquer pour la 300ème fois, etc etc etc, maaais : Ça m’arrête pas x’D ! ! !) …et Honnête ! Et l’Honnêteté est ce qui fait toute la différence avec les Connasses Malhonnêtes qui m’ont RÉELLEMENT pourri la vie après !.. (Loplo & Synder x’)

Ah et, oui, du coup j’ai pas parlé des screens mais vous avez compris qu’on s’est fait bannir toutes les deux suite à notre Tea Party au Château de Cendrillon x’D ! En soit j’en veux pas du tout à Synder pour ça, car je l’ai bien cherché là, mais aucun regret comme dit :

Super Late Kalafina 10th Anniversary Live Report!

This was my first Kala live ever, basically a dream come true and I couldn't contain my happiness and nervousness! (Special thanks to @putschki1969 for all her tutorials, this wouldn't have been possible for me without her!) I arrived at the venue around 3 pm (3 hrs before the live, 1 hr after the goods sale has started), and my god, THAT QUEUE!! I've never seen such a queue in my entire life.. at this point I wondered if I could make it on time.. but I queued anyway, and I ended up buying for some of my friends too. Anyway, my turn finally came and it was 6:15 pm.. I freaked out and the fact that most of the things I wanted was sold out already did not help at all lol, so I ended up pointing at stuff to the salesperson like a maniac and my hands were shaking when i tried to get out my money xD Now less than 10 mins are left!! I ran to the first floor and thankfully some staff guided me to my seat. The view was great and my seat was the first in the line so there were just stairs to my right, meaning I had extra space to jump around. The lights started dimming, music started playing, and I started shaking xD The girls came up on stage on a platform and I clapped and screamed like a maniac. Now to the actual concert: 01.ring your bell: Hikaru and Keiko started out okay, Wakana joined and was flat AF xD I was like noooo Wakana please don't continue like this, and thankfully she adjusted and became perfect. Wakana actually sounded so good I was quite surprised, and her 2nd high "beeeeeell" sounded great and perfectly pitched, much better than their other live releases. I don't like this song, but was a good warm up for them I guess.. 02.未来: Almost everyone in the venue stood up and got excited for this. 03.lirica: This was extremely unexpected for me, I remember dropping my jaw when Keiko announced it in the MC, and I also remember hearing ppl around me saying huuuh in surprise.. My god, was this a perfect performance in every way.. Wakana was pitch-perfect and sounded SO GOOD in her verses!!! Keiko harmonized perfectly too, and Wakana's high chorus was great too, and Hikaru's harmonization was so good. Now to the Kajiurago bridge.. KEIKO KILLED IT!!! Was so deep and filled Budokan!! I really wanted to jump/scream/clap after her solo, but wouldn't be appropriate for this kind of song lol. Great great great performance. Bonus thoughts: The strings in the verses were great, and it was so fun to look at the band picking their strings in this part! I hope they show some footage of them in the release! 04.満天: YES!! MANTEN!! was a nice follow-up to Lirica. Wakana sounded great (at this point I realised that Wakana will dominate this live) Hikaru was fine. Keiko was good in her solo, but I really miss the way she used to sing it in 2012-2013 with some vibrato to "deshoooou", but it sounded good anyway. 05.屋根の向こうに: I have only heard this song once or twice in my life lol, was quite surprised to see it make an appearance! I didn't know it was popular at all! 06.光の旋律: I know this song is overplayed, but I really enjoy it, and was happy to see it. Hikaru was good in her verses, much like 9+one. Wakana was great, Keiko was great too (but kinda loud and screaming at times) and her solo was good also. Hikaru's high harmonies were great (a few flats here and there, so those of you who think that her high harmonies in this song are always playback, they are NOT playback). Bonus thoughts: The flute was so good, I'm so happy that Akagi-san was there, 07.storia: Eh.. I don't like this song, but they were good. 08.夏の林檎: WHAT?!!! NATSU NO RINGO?!?! At this point I wondered if this was real xD Too many surprise appearances so far!! And they performed it the way they did in Red Day, with Wakana and Hikaru switching parts. 09.serenato: So.. the accordion started.. and I definitely realised it was Serenato (there were minor hints in the solo). I KNEW they'd perform this! My happiness could not be contained!! THAT PERCUSSION THO!! They started with their kajiurago, THEY ALL KILLED IT!! Hikaru sang using her falsetto, and it was on point, provided a more calming atmosphere to the song than her old regular voice singing (tho way less fierce). Wakana was on fiiiiiirrrrrreeeeeeeeee!! It was obvious that she was enjoying this song!! Keiko was great in her harmonies, and Hikaru as well. I REALLY can't wait for the live release!! 10.ARIA: Oh shit.. The moment of truth.. My heart started pounding so hard.. This is one of my absolute fav songs and I have a strong emotional connection to it! The song started in a lower key, as expected (one key lower). Hikaru started singing.. HER VERSES WERE SO GOOD!! The lower key really suits the song and makes it sound way more tragic, sad and lonely. She sang in a very very very sad and broken way, and you can actually see all those feelings in her face :( Wakana and Keiko were also great with their harmonies. Wakana sang her chorus lines beautifully. Solid performance overall, my favorite ARIA ever. Bonus thoughts: I really love this new ARIA, and prefer Hikaru's way of singing here and this key over the old one, it suits the lyrics way more, It brought tears to my eyes and made me cry like a baby. The cello was more present, and really added to the song’s atmosphere. Percussion was very very very good, it's good to finally see this song with percussion!! 11.sprinter: wait what Sprinter NOW this early in the setlist why xD?!?! Hikaru did good (I especially LOVE how she sang the “Kaze ni..” verse. Keiko was on point, a bit loud at times tho. Wakana was great. 12.oblivious: Of course, wouldn't be an anniversary live without it. Hikaru started in falsetto (like 9+one), she was so good. Wakana and Keiko were great, and their "itsuka kimi to.." part was very emotional. Solid performance. 13.傷跡: Another surprise appearance!! Was a great performance by all three, Hikaru was great with her high harmonies, Wakana and Keiko also great with their solos and harmonies. This live can't get any better; I thought to myself. 14.君が光に変えて行く: YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!!! MY FAV SONG UGH SOMEONE HELP I CAN'T!! But then.. Keiko sings with her cutesy voice. Someone needs to tell Keiko to stop using that voice forever, please. Wakana DELIVERED!! Aaaaah Wakana was so good!! :((( Hikaru’s harmonies were on point. Great performance EXCEPT WHEN KEIKO WAS USING THAT CUTESY VOICE. Sorry I'm still mad about it and can't get over it. 15.カンタンカタン: This is too much, at this point I got overwhelmed by the amount of good songs in this live. Wakana sounded MUCH BETTER than the studio version!! Hikaru's solo was nice. Keiko AGAIN used her fake cutesy voice for her solo :((( to me, that's basically the highlight of the song, so I was very disappointed, even though she hit her notes perfectly. I know in the studio version there are hints of cutesy in her solo, but it didn't matter much. Anyway, solid performance overall and Wakana sounded kinda more sad. 16.symphonia: Not a fan of this song, didn't pay much attention. 17.red moon: YeeeeY finally a song I voted for! I was so excited and scared at the same time, cuz their last performance of this song (arena) was so dead. Hikaru and Keiko's kajiurago start was perfect, Wakana started singing and.. was kinda lacking energy.. Keiko's harmonising was SO GOOD throughout the whole song. Hikaru sounded kinda tired but was doing her best. Keiko's final solo was great and gave me goosebumps. Wakana's delivery lacked energy overall, but she hit all her highs and lows perfectly. 18.adore: What? Is this AE Live xD? Was a nice performance overall. 19.to the beginning: I like this song, I know it's overplayed but it was my introduction to Kalafina, so it has a special place in my heart. Was a solid performance for such a hard song.

20.progressive: I also knew this would be performed, the stage got lit in rainbow colors, was so cool. A solid performance by all three! Hikaru was able to perform this song and did so well! I enjoyed this performance. 21.音楽: Of course, wouldn't be a Kalafina Live without Ongaku xD Was a nice performance with a MAJOR WaKei moment <3333 Keiko ran to Wakana right before her solo and jumped on her and hugged her so hard xD was super cute!! All 3 were great, and my god this is my fav Wakana-Ongaku ever!! Her solo WAS SO GOOD! The band introductions this time were nice, not as boring as they were before.

Bonus thoughts: Wakana was REALLY having fun, dancing so hard and jumping around.. I've never seen her this excited before.

22.heavenly blue: A solid performance. 23.into the world: I can't get myself to like this song. Solid performance by all three tho. 24.君の銀の庭 Accordion solo ver. ～ nightmare ballet (inst): I'm sorry but I took this chance to run to the restroom xD (sorry if this sounded disrespectful but I REALLY had to go :’( 25.ひかりふる: Started with a piano solo, and the girls came in with wedding dresses.. I was like WTF why the wedding dresses xD they were nice anyway and fit the song. The song started with just Wakana and the piano.. was absolutely wonderful and breathtaking :(((( they all sounded more emotional! The drums and the whole band kicked in together right before Hikaru's "hakanasugite.."!! WAS SO GOOD!! Major goosebumps! Keiko's "mabushii asaaaaaaaa.." was great, but I think she held it longer in the Arena Live. Beautiful beautiful performance. 26.百火撩乱: So Akagi-san came, and started playing a flute solo, very Japanese-sounding, so I knew what the next song would be. The girls started taking off some parts of their wedding dresses to reveal their "real dresses" under lol. I still laugh at how Hikaru was throwing away her wedding dress like a piece of trash xD Anyway, the instrumental part started, and the stage was illuminated in red. Keiko started her lines (Wakana didn't harmonise "yume wo miteeeeee"), Keiko was nice.. but I prefer how she sang in the studio version :/ I don't know how to explain it, but in the studio version, she sang like "naitaaa, omottaaa, kittooo, yoru nooo", but here in this live she ended them very abruptly and suddenly, like "naiTa, omoTTa, kiTTo, yoru No". In other words, the last syllables of those words were 3 three times shorter than the studio version, and that annoyed me so much, made the verses sound less powerful. (I hope someone actually understood what I meant xD). Hikaru sounded nice. Wakana, sang wonderfully, and took less breaths in the chorus, which sounded better for the song. Keiko's "yaibaaaaa" was much better and longer than the studio version. (Forgive my super picky and detailed review of this performance, but HR one of my favs and I spent a long time to cover this song so I know pretty much everything about this song in detail.) Bonus thoughts: The flute was super good. 27.アレルヤ: A perfect ending song to the concert. Was a very emotional performance, and all three delivered beautifully, and the WaHi harmonies were great this time. I also like Hikaru in this song. Keiko really did sing well here too. My fav Alleliua performance ever. So the concert ended, and the girls looked super duper emotional and moved, Wakana cried in her speech, Keiko took a few deep breaths before her speech and spoke with a super shaky voice then turned her face away and cried, Hikaru was smiling and waving to the audience section by section. Overall, a very solid concert, I am so happy I got to experience such a concert, solid setlist, solid performance, and more songs than usual. Highlights: ARIA, Serenato, Lirica, KantanKatan, Kimi ga, Natsu no Ringo. General Notes: - For such an event, I expected way more in terms of stage production and crowd involvement, but oh well they made up for that with the extra squeezed in songs. - Wakana was on fire pretty much the whole concert, she literally dominated, and was having a good time and dancing around and having fun. I really couldn't take my eyes off her. I hope they show more of her in the live release. - Keiko was great too, she harmonised perfectly and delivered her solo lines greatly (except for when she used her FAKE CUTESY voice). Was sometimes screaming and singing loudly tho. - Hikaru sounded good on some songs and tired on some, but you could definitely see that she was doing her best. (It was really cold that day and I’m almost sure she had a cold) - The first dresses were nice, though Wakana's dress was my personal favorite, it looked much much much much much better in real life than in pics, it was sparkly and elegant, it fit her perfectly. Keiko's dress was okay, nothing special in my opinion but the colors were super nice, reminded me of their 2014 tour dresses. Hikaru's dress was very very nice, but I didn’t like the baggy sleeve, would've looked much better if it was fitted. - I don't know what to think of the wedding dresses, a part of me likes them and the other part thinks they're over the top and unnecessary. They made more sense when they took them off, Wakana looked so weird though with her long skirt lol, the other two were very nice. - I was sure they'd play Marchen in its REAL version with the flute this time, but nope I was wrong. I'm too disappointed, I really wanted to see it live and it's a recent song and has only been performed in one tour while INTO THE WORLD has been performed way more. Also no Magia or Destination Unknown made me sad, I really wanted to see Hikaru sing them live :( - Budokan is such a beautiful venue inside-out! I imagined it to be MUCH MUCH bigger inside but it turned out to be way smaller than I imagined xD. - The percussion added A LOT of depths to some songs! Percussion should really be a staple in their tours.

Hikaru Birthday Event 2018 – Live Report

So…since my last report was stupidly deleted by yours truly and I only provided a mini-report, I thought I would write a proper one for you now. This time around I am using google docs so I hope nothing will be deleted. Without further ado, let’s get to it!

The day of the event was my second day in Japan. I was still quite exhausted from my travels but oh well, it wasn’t too bad. I got up pretty early and met up with my friend Sai to line up for the merchandise. We were at the venue (Suntory Hall Tokyo) at around 10 am to make sure we got everything we wanted. Thankfully the wait wasn’t too bad since we were protected from the sun underneath the building. It was still humid as hell but pretty bearable. Some Japanese Kala-fans from twitter said “hi” to me and as always I was super awkward. Sorry!! Anyways, after the wait was over, we finally got to buy our goods. I bought pretty much everything except the towel because meh, I am not a fan of towels. So yeah, I got the white shirt with the pink triangle, the cap, the ticket file and the booklet\clearfile set. Afterwards we headed to “La Maison Kioi” (the Kalafina SPICE interview location) to enjoy some cake. Then we headed to Shibuya to check out the Starbucks seat Keiko sat at in the 10th Anniversary Film. Just a while back, Hikaru had tried out a Calpis drink so e decided to have it too. The place (Afternoon Tearoom) was close by so that was very convenient. The lassi was certainly interesting, it had quite the unique taste, not sure I would order it again though XD.

Slowly heading back to the venue, we came across a bunch of fellow Kala-fans who had just gotten out of the afternoon event. We only heard good stuff so of course we were more than excited. At the venue we met up with lots of other Kala-fans and made some new friends. Then after another hour or so we were finally allowed inside. I delivered my letter and the ones by @theraspberrybushes and @mello-chi and then I went to my seat.

The event started on time…with a more or less unspectacular power point presentation regarding all the questions Hikaru had been asked in the questionnaire. I am pretty sure they used all the questions because there were at least 40 or something. No way in hell I could memorise all of that, especially since the questions/answers went by way too fast. Some random stuff I remember. • Hikaru’s favourite numbers are 2 and 7 • She owns around 1000 mangas • She can read a volume in about 30 minutes • If she hadn’t become a singer she would have wanted to become a mother in her 20ies • The type of character she likes in games: Men-tough; Women-peculiar and beautiful • The type of men she likes: Kind and calm • Favourite colours: Monochrome, blue and red • Favourite game: Momotaro Dentetsu • He favourite castle is Himeji • Her favourite characters in FGO are Gilgamesh and Shiki

Sorry, I can’t think of anything else. She also replied to my questions about recommendations in Toyama but she wrote like ten places or something and there was just no way for me to read it that quickly (especially since I suck when it comes to location kanji) But really, the questions weren’t exactly the highlight of the event but the most amazing part about this section were the childhood pictures of Hikaru which were randomly thrown in between questions. Like seriously the cutest pictures ever of baby Hikaru (and her little sister). Chibi-Hikaru was so freaking adorable, I could barely contain myself. We saw her wrapped up in cute winter clothes with her cheeks all red from the cold. With pig-tails! (♥ω♥*) We saw her in her pjs at home watching TV.

Then she finally came on stage wearing the gorgeous outfit you saw in the blog post. The top is by IENA in case anyone is interested. Of course I ended up buying it because how could I resist???? http://zozo.jp/?c=gr&did=55355842

She sat down and personally replied to three more questions that were asked frequently. The first one was about her in-ear-monitors. Someone was curious what they always hear when they wear them. Hikaru explained how they work and how they tune out unnecessary noises etc. Next question was about which merchandise she designed was the most memorable for her. She didn’t actually reply to that question iirc but she used that opportunity to introduce this event’s goods. A staff member rolled up a cart with all the merchandise and she introduced them all similar to what she wrote in the Harmony countdown. Sakurada Hirotaka helped her come up with the goods so he deserves credit as well. She also explained that the colours of the shirts represented Kalafina’s origin colours. The final question was about mobile games and how much time she usually spends playing them. If she is into a game and there is an event going on, she will pretty much play all day long. As soon as she gets up, on the train, during breaks, in bed…until she falls asleep XD

Next up was the manga corner. I spaced out a little here. She always read a page out of one of her beloved mangas and then she talked about why this section felt so special to her. ・xxxHOLiC ・My Hero Accademia ・Tenshi Nanka Ja Nai

Please don’t ask me what she talked about. I have literally no idea. I have never heard of these mangas so it didn’t make much sense what she was talking about. But still, it was very nice to see her talk about her passion.

We played Janken afterwards and two lucky winners (one of them my friend Sai) got a present from Hikaru and got to go up on stage. While I can’t say I care much for the mangas they received as present, I would have killed to get a chance to go up on that stage. Oh well, turns out I suck at Janken. XD Somehow I completely forgot how to play it T_T

The Live

宝石-Houseki: WOW! Just wow! I didn’t know that this was the song Hikaru auditioned with. But hey, that explains why she was eventually chosen because man, she slayed! She sounded amazing! I think the song was slowed down a bit, yeah, it definitely was. Her performance was so powerful and tragic, she almost sounded like she was using elements from Keiko’s and Wakana’s voices. She had the same oomph as Keiko and yet there was a hint of tragedy (the same tragedy you usually get from Wakana). Flawless, absolutely flawless. Honestly, I am not even sure which version I like better, Hikaru’s or Keiko’s.

プラチナ-Platina: This is apparently one of her most frequently sung songs at karaoke. She absolutely loves it. It was an okay performance, I can’t say I like that song very much (it’s too cutesy for my taste) and I don’t think the song is particularly suited for Hikaru’s voice but Hikaru was super adorable and all smiles and she obviously had a blast with it so I was happy for her.

北ウイング-Kita Wing: Wow!! Just. Wow!! Hands down one of my favourite performances of that night. I had never heard that song before but Hikaru’s rendition was absolutely gorgeous. I just got to listen to the original version and OMG, they changed it SO MUCH. They slowed it down a lot and made it sound so much more tragic and sad. It left a lasting impression and I think I will have to buy it now. So beautiful.

CAT'S EYE: Sakurada wrote a special jazz arrangement for this song. I wish there was footage of this performance. Hikaru was so freaking sexy here. The way she moved to the lyrics, especially during that “sexy” line! Oh boy! Nosebleed!!! And it was a song I actually knew so YAY about that. If I remember correctly, I think it was actually one of the songs I voted for so double YAY.

ARIA: Finally, the song I had been waiting for. I obviously voted for this because it’s one of my all-time favourite Hikaru songs and I loved the 10th Anniversary version so freaking much (everyone else also voted for it so I kinda knew this would make it onto the setlist). This version was in a slightly higher pitch I think but not as high as the original version. She sang it with so much emotion, at this point I first started crying. Once again Hikaru mentioned that this song means the world to her and it has taught her so much. It’s always special if she gets to sing it and every version is different/unique. I was a bit sad because all the Wakana/Keiko/Kajiurago parts were left out. I had hoped she would sing that WaKei section after the bridge. It’s literally one of my favourite parts of the song because of the lyrics. But oh well, it was still a mind-blowing performance and Hikaru knocked it out of the park. She struggled a bit during the 10th Anniversary performance (especially during the final verse - although studio magic made sure it sounded well-rounded on the DVD/BD) but here she hit every note.

Blackbird: Hikaru mentioned that we would all recognise this song once we heard the chorus but meh, it seems I am the only one who has never heard of this song. Guess it’s because I have never really listened to the Beatles. Sorry to everyone who thinks that’s blasphemy or something. Either way, Hikaru made me really like this song although it will not become my favourite. Nothing about it was very memorable so I have a hard time remembering any details. I just know that Hikaru sounded really chill and cool. She obviously enjoys to sing this type of song.

Honesty: It’s honestly embarrassing how few songs I knew during this live. This was another one I had never heard before but boy, Hikaru made me fall in love with it immediately. I don’t know what it was about her performance but it was just so touching and emotional, it seemed like she meant every word she was singing. Everytime she sang “honesty” my heart broke a tiny little bit. The feels! Oh, the feels!!

Just the Way You Are: Can’t say I ever cared much for this song but once again Hikaru brought something special to it that made me appreciate how lovely this piece actually is. It really felt like she was singing from the heart. On that note, I would like to mention that her English pronunciation was really good during all the English songs. You most definitely understood what she was singing and she tried her best to emphasise each and every word. Very impressive. That’s certainly not a given with Japanese artists. Although I guess we all know that Hikaru’s English is very good. After this song, Hikaru told the Japanese audience that even though they probably didn’t understand the English lyrics, she hoped she was able to convey the meaning through her singing (she was!!). She invited everyone to check out all the lyrics because they are all super beautiful.

魂のルフラン- Tamashi No Rufuran: I was one of the people who voted for Zankokuna Tenshi no These so when she started to talk about Evangelion I freaked out a little. Unfortunately she ended up singing this song instead. I haven’t really watched the series so I only ever knew the OP and nothing else. Can’t say this song left a lasting impression. I don’t remember much from it. T_T Sorry, Hikaru. And sorry to everyone who had expected a more throrough report. I think she struggled a bit during the high parts here but it wasn’t too bad.

History Maker: I am embarrassed to say that I once again didn’t recognise the song. It sounded familiar but I couldn’t for the life of me remember where it was from. I was confused because I thought it was a Western song but Hikaru had mentioned she would sing anime songs now. I was like, “ehh???” Only afterwards when Hikaru mentioned it was from Yuri on Ice I suddenly remembered. [I am definitely the most clueless person when it comes to anime] This was most certainly the most upbeat and fun song of the night. Everyone was hyped and Hikaru was running around the stage, trying to connect with as many people in the audience as possible. And it worked. So much power, so much strength. Simply amazing. She really managed to capture the spirit of the song. Can’t say I watched the anime but I know it’s about sports and figthing spirit and boy, after this performance I was SO READY to climb Mount Fuji XD (which is good since I actually did climb Mt. Fuji the day after). Once she was finished Hikaru told us that actually no one had voted for her to sing this song but since it’s one of her faves she thought it would be okay to include it, this was “Hikaru’s vote” so to speak.

sprinter: Hands down my favourite performance of the night. The lights were dimmed and all you could hear was Hikaru’s voice which was already brimming over with emotion. The arrangement was super slow, she sang pretty much all the lines (including Wakana’s and Keiko’s). She didn’t sing the Kajiurago parts though. When she got to the “kimi ni aitai…” part, the hall became completely dark and there was just a tiny light illuminating Hikaru. Her voice was raw and fragile and very quiet. She wasn’t even singing them properly, it was more like she was saying them to us. It’s hard to explain but it was utterly heartbreaking. Tears everywhere. She only sang that part once and I think that’s for the best because this way it was incredibly powerful. And even though you could barely see her face you could definitely hear her voice break. She ended the song with Wakana’s line, “I'm calling your name”. By the end of the performance everyone was in tears and you could see Hikaru wiping away a tear too.

That was the end of the live, Hikaru took a bow and thanked everyone. When she told the audience to give a big round of applause to Sakurada he started playing the first tunes of “Happy Birthday”. It was a bit awkward at first because Japanese audiences never know what to do in situations like that. But they caught on surprisingly fast and so everyone was singing for Hikaru. That’s when Hikaru pretty much broke down into tears and watching this made me cry even more. She desperately tried to compose herself afterwards but nope, she couldn’t. Whenever she started to speak, a new wave of emotions seemed to hit her. She had to use a towel to wipe her tears away. She said that she didn’t expect Sakurada to play the birthday song for her (although I think that’s not true because he apparently played it during the afternoon event too but I forgive her for that little lie XD). Oh well, whether she was surprised or not she seemed to be moved either way and that is the only thing that counts. She thanked us for coming, thanked us for making this night incredibly special for her and finally assured us that she would forever remember this evening and treasure it within her heart…during the whole time tears were streaming down her face. She hopes that the next time we all meet there will be less tears and more laughter. She apologised for crying so much (oh please, Hi-chan, never apologise for that!!!!) Then she left the stage and the audience was asked to remain seated until told otherwise. The individual rows were asked to wait in line and leave the hall one by one.

That’s when we all got our personal greeting and postcard from Hikaru. She was standing outside wearing the white shirt from the merchandise and she handed each and every person a handwritten note and thanked them once again for coming. The staff people were rushing everyone out but fans were able to talk to Hikaru for a milli-second. When it was my turn I was shaking and I started crying again. Hikaru smiled at me and gave me one of her English cards (like seriously, she even prepared English cards for her foreign fans! So thoughtful of her!). I told her that I was incredibly moved by her performance (as if my crying wasn’t indication enough) and it looked like Hikaru was about to start crying too but then I was ushered outside so I can’t know for sure. I was shaking so much and then and it took a few minuted to compose myself.

All in all it was a super special event and I am so glad I got the chance to attend it. Hikaru is a born solo performer and she owned the stage throughout the entire event. She made me fall in love with her even more. You could really tell how much she cared about her fans. Right now I am very grateful that she is there for us and wants to be close to us. This event and all her blog posts make me so very happy, you have no idea. My only regret is that Hikaru didn’t mention Wakana and Keiko during the evening event. Why did she only talk about them during the afternoon event? So unfair! But oh well, it’s not like I missed much. She basically just told the audience that they are keeping in touch and that she had received birthday geetings from both of them (duh! Of course she did! Did anyone doubt it?) and that Wakana regularly sends pictures of her plant babies. They are all doing their own thing now so I understand and respect their choice (yes, I think it’s their choice and they are not forced by Space Craft) to lay low and not mention the others too much. However, it’s still nice when they do.

Butlers vs Hosts event story

It starts with you being called by Kirisawa into the meeting room where Kojuro, Ota, Ryoichi and Katsuragi are gathered. There’s a new infiltration mission. Apparently some woman from Iris is kidnapping people and you have to stop her. She’ll be a judge at a competition for the ‘most hospitable man’. You’ll enter the competition as one of the judges while the boys will enter as contestants.

At the competition venue, you find out that the boys have to enter as teams of 3 but you only have 4 boys, then you spot Takuto and Leon (he came because of the power of a strong wish from someone…) and Ryoichi immediately gets them to team up with him.

Ota, Kojuro and Katsuragi form a team of butlers while Ryoichi, Takuto and Leon a team of hosts. The butlers go first to show how hospitable/what good ‘customer service’ they can provide. They invite everyone to go out into the garden for tea.

Ota is a playful little devil butler, Kojuro is a perfect and charismatic butler and Katsuragi is a ‘veteran’ butler who gives off an aura of stability. You feel quite embarrassed when the boys come over to serve you~! Before this butler session ends, the woman you’re keeping an eye on hands Kojuro a slip of paper.

Now it’s off to the hosts! Ryoichi is immediately quite popular since he’s such a smooth talker! Takuto’s tsundere-ness has its fans too. While women are very attracted to Leon’s supernatural charm and beauty. You sit to one side to watch your target. Then Ryoichi, ever the tease calls out to you, telling you not to hide your pretty face and he comes over to you for a while and gets really really close to you just to get a reaction out of you… (^^;;) Right before this session ends, the target woman hands Leon a slip of paper as well.

Then it’s time to tally up the votes. Kojuro and Leon take this time to slip out to meet the woman as that’s what’s written on the paper she gave them. You follow close behind to watch. Turns out all the woman wants is their contact info as she wants to ask them out for dinner and a date! (Both at the same time??) Anyway, turns out she isn’t a kidnapper (I think?) and she just came to the competition to see all the pretty pretty boys and her strong wish for prettiness is what called out to Leon and drew him here!! XD

Anyway, the results of the contest are announced and it’s… a draw! Both teams got the same number of votes. Takuto complains about how the trophy is ‘fake’ when he receives it. He was originally here to steal it, maybe? Then Ryoichi comes over to ask who you voted for and soon the other boys are all asking the same thing! And you quickly say ‘It’s a secret!!’ And that’s it for this story.

Commander returned to the stage after we shouted 「Jäger」again.

Commander: Thank you everyone. I underestimated everyone from the Ichihara branch. I didn’t expect you to start shouting 「Jäger」before the 321 countdown.

This time, even though I want to make it as simple and easy to understand as possible, there will always be a limit to that, I can’t concede further after lowering to a certain extend. Personally, I, too, hope you can hear the love I pour into making it yourself. Should I say it’s S-ish (TN:…sadistic), I also don’t want to underestimate you all too much. Perhaps that’s why the CD doesn’t sell much. A lot of adjustments are made now, for all the sound to be tweaked just right, hoping all the various sounds can be conveyed. But everyone has their preferences, some prefer it to be more like rock music, some prefer the sound of strings, so you may feel that there are some sounds you really want to listen to closely, but you just can’t hear it well. So this time we prepared this segment, remixing the songs chosen by the votes live. You make take this chance to clearly listen to parts of the songs that sounds unclear originally.

Commander: But one song is very long, so likely only half will be played. We will try it today, if everyone here reacts positively, then we will continue this segment. If all of you find it rather uninteresting, then this segment might be gone by the time we are in Tokyo. To prevent that from happening, I will do my best as well.

Commander: Then I will choose someone….. there in the second row! You with the glasses! In 《To You in Two Months》Which instrument do you most want to hear?

Simultaneously doing SH and LH and SH and LH and also going on the radio occasionally… There really isn’t many CDs despite it being five years. Perhaps it will be more substantial by its 10th year anniversary? But this is the only aspect I can’t improve on my own. Please offer me jobs –– (Slight bow)

Commander: Aside from LH, there were lots of songs written for the SH side. Even though this time, the LH tour is to lower the entry barrier, welcoming those who didn’t know us at all, there will still be some who came here from the SH side. For those familiar with SH, if you hear songs from SH, you may feel “Ah! I can’t believe I heard songs from SH today, I’m super lucky”. For those unfamiliar, after you listen to the songs, I hope you will feel that “Eh, the other songs from the Sunglasses-ojisan are also not bad”. So there will also be a few songs from SH this time.

Commander: After all, aside from the songs included in CDs, there are also some songs from SH that are currently not for sale.

The singer who came on stage was Eiko Matsumoto. The one who sang 《14 Lettered Message》as Eren’s mother.

All the narrations were done by Eiko Matsumoto herself, none of it was cut. Her singing was very steady. The narrations were also not bad. The actions were the same as the ones for the 10th anniversary included in TAH. It was very good.

After she finished the song, Commander came up again.

She sang Edea’s song from BDFF. Regardless if it’s quality or texture of her voice, or the content of the lyrics, It’s! All! Very! Fitting!

There’s 「Black or White?」in the lyrics. Will it actually be 「Black」or「White」? It’s a song that’s very fitting for Annie’s POV. The actions are also the same as in RLBDC. Even the actions for the singer when bandmembers where showing off their skills were the same. The only difference was the set of actions towards the end, Fukunaga performed Annie’s fighting actions. It was super cool and super impressive.

After it’s over Commander came up. On his way up he was carrying the concert pamphlet against his chest, and he walked backwards onto the stage like that. \?????? wwwwww/ What is this inexplicably adorable creature.

Commander: The song that was just performed was from BDFF. It’s game music. It’s collected in an Elbum (Mispronounced)… No! AL! BUM! called 《Luxendarc Daikikou》.

Commander: It actually started with the original game music, then on the basis of the game sound track, we added Vocalization.

Commander: Let’s start from the singers. The first one, MANAMI

MANAMI came out flapping her wings… no, flapping her arm with tassels on the sleeves. Seeing this, commander started humming 《Swan Lake》: 「dun~ dundundundundun~ dundun~ dundun~ dundundundundundun~」 Upon hearing it MANAMI also switched to ballet steps as she came up. And after I was done I felt like I still had the stomach for more. Commander: I think you can totally pursue this field. MANAMI: I used to play basketball, I could eat a lot more then than I do now! So when I see Sasha it’s like seeing a reflection of myself.

Commander: The second one is Tsukika. Commander: How many plates of sushi can Tsukika eat? Tsukika: ……30 plates are way too many. Commander: Tsukikia’s favorite character is Nanaba. Oh Nanaba. Her younger brother will be called 「Hachiba」.

(…… The “nana” in Nanaba is homonymous with 7.. so “7ba”’s brother is “8ba”… such a cold joke. So cold!)

Commander (Seemingly well prepared to anticipate that nobody would find it funny, he started making the scissors hands gesture): Okay cut! Commander: Oh this (Snip snip) means that this part should be cut from the DVD.

Commander: That’s true, there’s a lot of character in Shingeki whose genders are ambiguous. Isayama-sensei mentioned before that it’s okay to perceive them as either male or female. Tsukikia: I think that Hanji is a guy. Commander: The important thing is the character’s spirit and their way of living. Gender doesn’t matter. Hanji is just Hanji!

Commander: Next is Mami Yanagi. Mami Yanagi: Hi everyone, it’s been a while. Commander: Mami Yanagi’s favorite is Mikasa. She also repeatedly emphasized her liking during the last tour (Referring to Jiyuu e no Shingeki Talk & Live in 2013). Mami Yanagi: I still love her now! Commander: Next is OBA. The Abnormal among the dancers. Commander: Favourite is Hanji. YUKI: It was completely coincidental at first, I can’t help paying attention because our hairstyles are similar. Then when I saw her drooling when she sees the Titans, I really relate to that. I really like things like temples and castles and such, and when I see them, I will be holding Chu-hi (A fizzy fruit alcohol under Kirin) in one hand while drooling. Commander (Imitating Hanji’s overexcited tone at seeing a Titan): 「WoOO~~~~~~WOAHH~~~~~THIS SHRINE IS TOO AMAZING~~~~~~~」Like this? YUKI: Yes yes.

Commander: After Hanji it’s Junji! Commander: He said he likes all the Titans. Junji: Yes, I like every one of them. Commander: Every one? There’s always that one special Titan right. Junji: It’s impossible to neglect the Abnormals, I want to follow them. But actually, compared to the gigantic Titans, the 2,3 meter ones feel the scariest. They are closer to humans. Commander: Is it because when you see the ones around 3 meters, you feel like you can defeat them if you just try a little harder. Junji: It’s impossible! Junji: All the Titans have that smile on their faces, it feels really creepy. Commander: But you like it. Junji: I like it.

Next is Atsushi Hasegawa.

Commander: Acchan’s favourite is Reiner. Acchan: Yes, he seems very brave. He feels sort of like an older brother. His personality is also very earnest, he only became like that (mental breakdown) because he is overtly sincere. Commander: That’s because Acchan is also a very earnest person. Acchan: I’m not that earnest?! Acchan: And the Armoured Titan is very cool. Like a robot. Commander: Yes, the Armoured Titan was exceptionally cool when it first appeared. It was like Woosh (Poses like when the Armoured Titan was going to start dashing)

Next is Gen Ittetsu.

Commander: Gen Ittetsu said his favourite is Mitsuru Hanagata (Not a character from Shingekyo, but one from 《Kyojin no Hoshi (Star of the Giants)》)

Then the two began a heated discussion revolving around Star of the Giants. I have never watched so I can’t keep up with their conversation, I had no idea what they were talking about. The two were engrossed in their own world for quite a while before returning.

Gen Ittetsu: I happened to be very busy during the tour pamphlet interview period. So, I just answered randomly. So that’s what I said.

Next its members from Gen Ittetsu Strings.

Commander: Aside from Gen Ittetsu, I still want to ask the members of the Strings. But there are a lot of people in the Strings, so I’ll ask one person for each concert. This time it will be –– Cameroon Maki. Commander: Maki’s answer was not published in the pamphlet. So we can only listen to it live! Maki: I have only watched 3 episodes of Shingeki so far. For now, rather than favourite, the character I am most attached to is Keith. I am attached to his role as a teacher. Commander: Such a shiny bald head. Maki: A very strict instructor, his words are very stern and severe. This makes him very endearing, I do have such a strict person around me.

As he said this he looked at Gen Ittetsu beside him. Gen Ittetsu looked around as though unaffected and he wasn’t talking about him.

Commander: Keep watching! Instructor Keith still has an important role later!

Next is Takeshi Nishiyama

Commander: He likes Ymir. Aniki: The timeline for the original Shingekyo manga is quite confusing. I went and reread it for Shingeki no Kiseki, and I had a lot of new emotions when rereading it with the impression I got from the CD. Recently I feel like I’m getting old and my memories are deteriorating, I only realized Ymir’s story was already at the start of the fifth book when I went to reread it. Aniki: Being able to write such a song from such a short story, Revo-san is really amazing this way. Commander: There were a lot of characters in the original manga, among them some died soon after they debuted. Commander: Only Isayama-sensei knows the exact follow up for a lot of characters. There are a lot to look forward to. Commander: There are also some members who just started reading it. Perhaps by the end of the tour, everyone will become professors of Shingekyo.

The last one is Koji Ikarashi

Commander: Rashi’s favorite is Armin. Commander: This time, I will pick a musician for every concert to dedicate a performance to their favourite character. It will be Rashi today. Rashi: For Armin. Commander: Sometimes it will become Gesumin (Gesu = lowlife/scumbag, this nickname originated from some of Armin’s expressions which Isayama drawn really twisted and ugly)

Then, Ikarashi played Chopin’s Fantaisie Impromptu.

Commander: This melody is truly very difficult. But if you can’t play this, you won’t be able to play the song 《Yoiyami no Uta》. Ikarashi: That’s true, and it needs to be played at 1.5 times the speed I played just now.

Commander: It’s surprising when we stand in a row, there are so many people. There will be concerts with more people in the future, the special guests are not here yet either, wonder if we can still all fit in one row then.

After expressing their thanks and clapping, all the performers left. In the end, Commander came up alone to do the final MC as usual.

Commander: What should you offer your heart to? There are a lot of things you can dedicate to in life. There are a lot of times you need to fight. Even if the opponents are not titans, you will still need to fight. Fighting with sad things, fighting with painful things. But you can definitely overcome them. And life will go on. Music have this power. Even though there are sad songs as well, I hope I can support all of you with music. When you want to improve your mood, listen to music, and you will feel better, I hope my music can achieve this.

Commander: There were quite a few members who had never performed before today, everyone were actually really nervous. But you were all very encouraging, there were no sense of remoteness at all. Thank you very much, for watching over us with such warmth.

japan week three ➜ ryosei’s summer thanks event

on july 16th, i had the chance to attend ryosei (8th inui)'s summer event & meet him!!

this was more of a just for fun ~i want to give back to my fans~ kind of event rather than one commemorating the release of a DVD or photobook or the like. i had no idea what to expect, but it ended up being sooo much fun!! this is my favorite event i attended.

i was sitting in the middle of the very first row of the venue, which was both nervewracking and wonderful. the venue wasn't full, but there were still a lot of us, and everyone had so much energy and was so nice!! it felt really cozy and fun.

the event kicked off with a talk section between ryosei & the MC, as well as a Q&A from the fans. they mostly went over ryosei's work within the past few months... when his hatsukoi monster character was brought up, the MC said ryosei kinda was like his character (a crazy fanboy of a young boy who dresses like a cute girl) and called him a pervert... ryosei didn't deny anything and even said "yes i'm pervert-san i look forward to working with you"... i... don't even... know...

when talking with the MC, ryosei was so loud and chatty, but when answering fans' questions he does this ADORABLE thing where he gives these really long detailed answers, and his voice gradually gets lower as he talks more & more... he would ramble a little and it was ADORABLE. i really appreciated him putting so much thought into his answers to fans' questions.

my favorite question was when a fan asked him about makeup.

Fan: "having been in tenimyu, you had to do your own makeup for 2 years. how is it to leave that work to makeup artists now?"

Ryosei: "you know, makeup artists do a great job, but there's moments where i have to tell them things like, that's not my foundation color, you made my face darker than my neck!! or things like that."

i thought that was really interesting bcuz i always had been curious about that; some tenimyu boys are so skilled at doing their makeup, and then you see how they look when other people do it for them, and... well.

being in the first row and sitting near where ryosei was, i felt like he was looking in my direction so often and it was so intimidating!! he's such a chill guy but he's also so beautiful and tall... he is. SO beautiful. i was especially happy because most of his freckles & beauty marks were visible thanks to how light his makeup was hehehe... also he has the most amazing cheekbones and these GIGANTIC hands actually that might be scary more than anything

he then brought his guests in: kodai (8th taka), tsuji (3rd higashikata) & . the guests were announced way after we got the lottery results & our tickets, so i was so amazingly happy that i'd get the chance to see kodai & tsuji.

the first thing they did together was this adlib skit competition. the MC would give them a specific prompt and then they each had to come up with a skit about it. the crowd would then vote for our favorite one.

the themes were: - you're the teacher and your student just graduated; - confessing to your childhood friend; - you confess but the person is already taken.

ryosei won the first one, but kodai won the other two!! he was just so pure and good it's no wonder... ryosei was like THIS IS MY EVENT WHY ARE YOU ALL VOTING FOR HIM ughhffjcsg

tsuji would get embarrassed & laugh in the middle of each of his skits, it was so cute!!

i really liked their skits for the third one. kodai's was like, "ah, really? well, that's fine!! i wish you all the best!!" while ryosei's was, "oh, okay then. bye. *turns & walks away*". i laughed SO hard. i feel like there was truly this dating game pattern of kodai being the sweet harmless guy, tsuji being the awkward goof & ryosei being the flirty, crazy and rude one. XD

then it was time for the performance numbers. okay, i really had NO idea any of this would happen AT ALL. it was kinda shocking...

so, ryosei & tsuji start talking about how they both love kpop... (a thousand red alarms go off in my head)... and how they... learned a choreography... (by then i'm already ready to die of embarrassment)... and so...

ryosei & tsuji did this entire dance cover complete with lipsynching of BTS' i need u? live on that stage? while i was in the first row? i'm still mentally scarred honestly?

but the worse is that. i actually. really enjoyed it. they're both really good dancers and were seriously going hard on that stage and they're both very tall you know... so when they did those sexy body rolling & neck touching & etc moves i was like OHHH. NOOOOOOOO

i honestly wish they had recorded it because despite how scarred i am i would definitely have rewatched that 488558 times. ryosei's legs...

afterwards all four of them sang kiseki by green boys? it was really pretty. ryosei did the rap part and it was so funny he is such a goof... however tsuji definitely stole the show with his wonderful singing~ poor ryosei keeps getting outshined at his own event...

afterwards, ryosei introduced his college friend, one of the first people he met after moving to tokyo. i thought it was really cool and sweet of ryosei to have invited this totally normal guy to his event! his friend was so quiet and shy, it was so cute to watch them.

the reason why ryosei had invited his friend was so he could play the guitar as ryosei sang his own songs. yes!! ryosei is apparently an amateur singer-songwriter now!!

it was a very heartfelt and sincere and lovely moment. ryosei isn't the best singer out here, but he still sounded so sweet, and the songs were really emotional. the second one was about going back to your hometown, coming home. when ryosei described his feelings behind the song, a lot of people in the crowd teared up, ryosei made fun of us!! (and then teared up himself while singing it.)

afterwards, it was time for us to meet ryosei. we could take a cheki, talk to him & personally hand him our letters.

what i thought was really cool about this event is that the cheki was included in the base price ticket. a lot of events require you to do crazy things or spend a ridiculous amount of money to get a cheki. (i bought 3 photobooks to get my cheki with zaiki LOL)

as expected, ryosei was so incredibly calm and casual. he greeted me and we took the cheki, please take note of how huge his hands are next to mine when i already have rather large hands... it was almost scary to watch girls and their small hands doing heart shapes with him i'm terrified

i told him how much i loved all of his roles especially jek and jouetsu and orion and INUI!! and how i've been supporting him from canada since he debuted in tenimyu and how i love his ""energy"" on stage (idk how to compliment extra-ness in jp).

he held my hand very firmly and warmly and he's sooo quiet and calm, idk why he does this thing where he's constantly yelling at his friends but basically whispers to his fans but it's so sweet... he is so beautiful and his soft face looks like cookies & cream what with his freckles... and his big smile is so cute!! he looked really surprised when i gave him my letter, maybe he didn't expect me to be able to write XD

i then went out to the goods area. honestly, i regret not buying more things. his photosets were GORGEOUS, the concepts, poses, expressions, outfits, image quality, everything were so much better than the bromides i got from everything & everyone else this month. no offense, but...

the cutest thing was the collection of cheki on sale. there were hundreds of unique shots: all hand signed & captionned by ryosei. i regret only getting one of them... i'll share higher quality pictures of the goods i got at this event at a later date.

as i mentioned, this was the objectively best event i attended this month. ryosei isn't even one of my top 10 actors or anything, but he's such a charming & entertaining guy. i'm really thankful to have met him & glad he treated me so kindly. i hope i can see him again!!!

Haikyuu!! Event - 4/30 Fan Report

I got to attend the Haikyu Event: Karasuno vs Shiratorizawa on April 30. I decided to make this into a day trip so I went to Tokyo by bus and took the train to Maihama. The event was held in Maihama Amphitheater and I didn’t buy any goods this time.

This is the visual for the event!

Seiyuu Cast who Attended:

Karasuno: Murase Ayumu (Hinata), Ishikawa Kaito (Kageyama), Uchiyama Koki (Tsukishima), Saito Soma (Yamaguchi)

Shiratorizawa: Takeuchi Ryota (Ushijima), Kimura Subaru (Tendo), Toyonaga Toshiyuki (Shirabu), Tsuchiya Shinba (Goshiki)

Yes... I had to take a pic of my biases together. XD

The interesting thing about this event was that when you apply for tickets, you can apply for a Karasuno seat or a Shiratorizawa seat. From the audience’s point of view, half of the left side is all Karasuno seats and the right half is all Shiratorizawa seats. I had a Shiratorizawa seat.

The event started with a picture of chibi Shiratorizawa team talking followed by Karasuno. They basically say that we should cheer them on. It was nice to see the left side with a lot of orange penlights and the right side with a lot of purple penlights.

Then Burnout Syndrome came out and sang the third season opening: “Hikari Are.” Then they sang Fly High. I really love that song!! They were so cool!!!

After that, all of the seiyuu came out one by one in their respective team’s shirts (Karasuno wore bright orange and Shiratorizawa wore purple) that were sold at the venue. Karasuno seiyuu came out first. They were fairly normal. I remember Ishikai jumped when he came out. When Shiratorizawa came out, it was like bam! LOL Tosshi came out without glasses and did a pose with both his hands above his head, arms folded against one another (I believe this is Shirabu’s pose on the visual). He was wearing mustard yellow pants. When Subaru was coming out, he looked like he was about to come out but went past the entrance backstage. LOL

The order from left to right was Soma, Ucchi, Ishikai, Ayumu, Takeuchi, Subaru, Shinba and Tosshi.

Each of the seiyuu gave an introduction.

For Soma’s introduction, he went “Tsukki!!!” Of course… he did that. xD Then he did a call and response. (Call and response is very common in self introductions). He said, “When I say ‘Gomen ne (Sorry)!!’ please say, “Tsukki!” And we did it. xDDD

Ishikai stumbled over his introduction LOOOL. xD

Karasuno sorta “bullied” Shiratorizawa by mentioning that they won a lot (referring to the Karasuno vs Shiratorizawa match). All of the Shiratorizawa seiyuu started throwing a tantrum by stomping their feet and looking frustrated. Hahaha. XD

Subaru got shorts that came down to his knee and matched his T-shirt. Someone commented that he looked like a crayon. Subaru also did a call and response. I believe it’s his catchphrase. He said, “When I say this, say that!” He didn’t even say the lines because we should know it and we said something with “kokoro.”

For Shinba’s self intro, it’s apparently his first time ever attending an official seiyuu event! He’s so cute! He did a call and response and went, “Hajimemashite! (Nice to meet you!)” And we said it back. Someone commented that Shinba can only say that once because it’s his first event ever. XD (And saying “Nice to meet you” would be strange.) Shinba wore the complete Shiratorizawa jersey (jacket and pants) and said that he wears it to his recordings too. <333 How cute is that? XD

For Tosshi’s self intro, he said, “I am Shirabu Kenjiro.” LOOOL. XD Eventually he suddenly said, “When Ushijima (Takeuchi) says, “Right!” we turn right and when he says, “Left!” we turn left. LOL So Takeuchi started saying, “Right, left, front, and “wave” and the other Shiratorizawa members did it as if they were in the army with their backs straight and hands to their sides. XD This was when I thought, man… Shiratorizawa seiyuu are so crazy but so interesting and fun! They get along so well!

Then I think… it was this part but both teams chose a “leader.” Karasuno chose Ayumu and Shiratorizawa chose Takeuchi. They both went to the front and greeted us and put their hands in the air while saying their names and so on. Shiratorizawa had their hands over their hearts while this was happening.

Then they had us do the cheer that the fans do in the bleachers in the anime. Ishikai led the Karasuno side of the audience. Fans had to say, “Go go Karasuno, Push push Karasuno!” That side did a practice round and because Ishikai is a strict teacher, he went,” That was only 20 points,” and had them do it again XD Subaru led the Shiratorizawa side. (I couldn’t remember how the chant went for Shiratorizawa but eventually got the hang of it). Shiratorizawa fans go, “Shiii, ratorizawa!” And clap three times, then once, and then twice. XD It was really fun doing the chant.

After that, they left the stage for the staff members to set up the stage.

For the Haikyuu!! event, there were five sets, as if they were playing a volleyball match in the finals (think Karasuno vs Shiratorizawa match). The MC said that there will be a chance to make a comeback in the end, Someone went, “Is it really okay to say that already?” And another commented, “So even if we are in the lead, the opponent in the fifth set can suddenly make a comeback?” Basically implying that all their hard work from the first to the fourth seat won’t even make a difference. XD This is really common though. xD The winning team wins high-quality and expensive meat tickets (not exactly coupons…but you get what I mean)!

First Set: Best Scene

Each character had a best scene. The results were based on the fans votes for the best scene for each character. This was actually an online survey that fan could vote on. Then the seiyuu who voiced that character talks about it. 1st place gets 3 points for their team and the top 2 to 5 get 1 point for their team.

The MC announced the top five, from number five to number 1.

5. Ushijima scene where he goes, “Like Tendo always says, “Nottekita.”

4. Hinata scene where it looks like he grew a pair of wings.

3. Shirabu scene where he’s focused on giving his all for Ushijima.

2. Kageyama scene where he failed to get the ball and Tendo tried to provoke him but it didn’t work.

1. The obvious number 1 was, of course, the Tsukki scene where he yells. During this scene, Soma screamed, “Tsukki!!!!” It was super adorable. XD

The MC asked the seiyuu/characters that weren’t in the top five about their thoughts. Shinba was so cute when he said, “Oh, I was shocked that I wasn’t up there…” He said it all genuinely and like a kicked puppy, all disappointed. Asldk XD Ishikai said Tendo was basically in every best scene shown and had the most lines in there too! At one point, he imitated Tendo’s moves. Subaru also talked about how he was a test recording or something (they kept saying test.. not sure what that means) and he wasn’t sure how he was supposed to sing his signature little song with heart breaking in the lyrics. He had read the manga and everything but he wasn’t given any direction as to how to do it. Apparently the director just left the song up to him. He could do it however he wanted. And this was how it ended up. Subaru wondered if how he did the song fit the character and we clapped (meaning it really did!).

At this point, Karasuno was in the lead, 5-2.

Second Set: Ball Control

Each team chooses one member to represent them. That person has to hold 4 volleyballs (the balls are HUGE) first and the other members add a ball and hold all of them for five seconds (the au before another ball is added. If the person drops the ball, then it’s over. The person gets the number of points equal to the number of balls he manages to hold.

Karasuno went up first and Ishikai got chosen. Ishikai only got to a total of 6 or 7 before a ball slipped from his arms. Ayumu apologized to him saying it was his fault. When he placed an additional ball, that was when Ishikai dropped the balls.

Shiratorizawa team took off their jackets to prove that they were serious about winning. Takeuchi was chosen for Shiratorizawa and he suddenly laid down!!! Karasuno went, “Wait, is that even allowed??” And the MC said it was okay as long as the balls don’t touch the ground. Takeuchi managed to get to a total of 12 balls!!! It was really amusing seeing the balls on his body.

Someone suggested that Ishikai do it again except laying down this time and the MC said that was fine but he would get no points for doing it. Ishikai reluctantly did it and held 15!! Ishikai said that he couldn’t even keep track of how many balls were being placed on him and Takeuchi said that once they put a ball on your face, then all is lost (like you can’t think anymore). XD

Third Set: Quiz

They show a scene and then ask a question relating to the scene. Karasuno and Shiratorizawa has to write down the answer on the sketchbook provided. Both teams were given one sketchbook so each team had to work together to come up with an answer. Let me tell you, Shiratorizawa team was overall very interesting to watch. XDD

1. What is the kanji for Reon?

This question took a lot of time for both teams to answer. xD Shiratorizawa tried to cheat by asking the audience and looking over at Karasuno’s table… Karasuno tried to do the same thing too. XD At one point, Tosshi tried peeking and a few fans pointed him out. Then Tosshi said, “ You’re not supposed to rat me out! Because I’m supposed to be plain and not noticeable (reference to Shirabu’s character where he doesn’t stand out).

Both teams ended up getting the answer right.

2. What did Kiyoko say after Suga exclaimed, “Wait until we marry!” when she held Suga’s hands to calm him down.

Both teams tried peeking again. XDDD

When they both revealed their answers, they were both VERY similar except Shiratorizawa team added in “because.” Ishikai said he has confidence because he loves Kiyoko and that’s why he remembers what she said. XD

Answer: “No thank you. I don’t plan on getting married with you.” Although both of their answers weren’t written exactly as said, a point was given to Karasuno for giving the closest answer. XD

3. What did Semi (Terashii) say after Tendo sing-songed weirdly?

Karasuno wrote, “Crow field.” I kid you not; Crow field was written in English props to Ayumu. XD Ayumu explained the answer as “Karasuno.”

Subaru saved the day. He wrote, “Block,” which was the correct answer. XD

4. What did Yamaguchi say to Tsukki which got him mad?

Answer: “Don’t lose to Hinata!”

Both teams got it right. I was really surprised because Shiratorizawa wrote down the answer pretty fast.

5. What is Reon and Semi eating in the cafeteria scene?

The food that they were eating was covered with a white fuzzy spots. But a slight hint was given because there was a salad on Semi’s plate and a huge bowl or rice on Reon’s plate. It was actually a difficult question. The MC gave them a hint, saying that the food on their plates were both different and Reon was eating something high in calories.

Ishikai was drawing the answer to the question. His fellow members went, “What’s that!?” and laughing uncontrollably. At one point, Ishikai stomped off the stage out of anger and then came back after the Karasuno members told him to come back. Ishikai put the blame on Soma. XD At another point, Ucchi tried peeking at Shiratorizawa’s answer and Subaru blocked his view. XD And when Ucchi went back and looked at Ishikai’s drawing, he went, “Wait, what happened!? Ishikai finally showed his drawing. The drawing of their guess for Semi was a bit weird. Hahaha but it was a drawing of curry and rice. XDD They guessed that Reon was eating fried fish or something. Then Ayumu showed us Ishikai’s first original drawing and said that he improved greatly. When we looked at the first drawing, we were like, “Oh my god… what’s that??” And Ishikai got really embarrassed and sat under the super small table they were using, all huddled up with his knees up against his chest and looking sad. XDDD Dawww

Shiratorizawa answered with “Semi” (actually I’m not sure why that was the answer) and oil (because the MC said it was something high in calories). XDDD

Answer: Curry and karaage (chicken)

1 point went to Karasuno.

For one of the questions, someone on the Shiratorizawa team started to do the fan chant and had us (Shiratorizawa side) join in. Then there was a Shiratorizawa fans vs Karasuno fans chant face-off. XDDD

For one of the questions (don’t remember which one), Subaru tried acting confident that he knew the answer. The other seiyuu noticed that he was sweating a LOT and Soma kindly went to grab a towel, and gently wiped the sweat off Subaru’s face. And Subaru said, “KYUN <333333” (sfx for heart skipping a beat) A member of Karasuno went, “What’s with this lovey dovey atmosphere!?” LOOOL X

I believe they did a time-out after the third set so the seiyuu went off the stage while the MC gave us announcements. When the seiyuu came back, Shiratorizawa was acting all serious, cool and mature. XDDDD LOOOL And the Karasuno team said something like, “Wait, what happened? Isn’t that a totally different attitude than before??”

Fourth Set: Gesture Game (Charades)

Each team chooses a representative. That person has to do gestures and make his teammates guess the word. The person has to do as many in one minute and only can say “pass” twice.

Ayumu was chosen for the Karasuno team. When Ishikai said it can only be Ayumu, he started imitated how Ayumu danced and moved his body, showing that he was the best one for doing the gestures.

I don’t remember all that he did but he did radio calisthenics (exercises), rolling thunder (Noya’s move!!), serve, monkey (a few members said “baka” (idiot) at first LOL) and the last one was “Oikawa Toru.” LOOOL Many fangirls screamed when they saw the name. Ayumu tried to do Oikawa’s signature serve and failed but none of his teammates could guess the answer and then time was up. When the answer was revealed, Ishikai… well more like “Kageyama” got “angry” and went something along of the lines of, “That’s supposed to be Oikawa!?” Then they had Ayumu repeatedly do “Oikawa.” Hahaha he tried to do the serve but it was just really cute to me. XDDD The Karasuno members told Ayumu, “Good job.” I also remember Soma was really good at guessing the answers! I was really surprised!

For Shiratorizawa, Shinba was chosen! He showed us a wonderful one-handed cartwheel! He was asked to do it again and he did it! He was so amazing!!! XD He did, brushing your teeth, receive, passed on Reon, tried to do “guess attack,” and passed on that one too. For the last one before time was up, he did “Synchro Attack!” Shiratorizawa team knew what he was doing but couldn’t remember the word for the special move. XDD

At this point, Shiratorizawa was in the lead, 24-22. It was a really close match!

Last Set: Collaboration with an Enormous Ball (I don’t even know how to translate this one to sound natural. LOL)

The audience has a chance to participate in this set! It’s up to the audience and the winner gets 50 points! XD The staff brought out two HUGE orange balloons and two HUGE pink balloons. XD Shiratorizawa commented, “Wait, is this supposed to be purple!?” when they were handed the pink balloons XDD LOOOL Anyway, the teams will pass the balloons to the audience and the audience has to move the balloons all the way to the back and then back to the front. Just imagine a rectangular U shape. The winner is determined when ONE of the balloons goes back on the stage.

You know how half of the venue was supposed to be Karasuno fans and the other half was supposed to be Shiratorizawa fans? Well actually part of the section of the back was full of Karasuno fans. XDDD Subaru pointed it out and jokingly said, “Since they’re rooting for Karasuno, they might try to pop the balloon!” Then Ishikai kindly said to that section, “Please help them,” and was all nice about it. He had this really nice pleading voice. XDDD Those fans were very kind and even changed their penlights from orange to purple!

It was overall pretty exciting although I didn’t have a chance to touch the balloon. xD And Shiratorizawa won! Actually both of the balloons got back to the stage while the orange balloons didn’t even go halfway up. It stayed around the front. XD

So that meant the ultimate winner was Shiratorizawa!!! :3 Shiratorizawa team had us do the Shiratorizawa fan chant and even the Karasuno side joined! LOL

For the awarding ceremony, they chose the MVP of the day! And Ishikai was chosen!! A member of Burnout Syndrome handed him a trophy. (Ishikai balancing the volleyballs part was seriously hilarious XD) Another member gave the trophy to Takeuchi, representative of Shiratorizawa team and Shinba accepted the high-end meat prize! XD

Then all the seiyuu gave their closing comments.

Subaru started “crying” and saying that he was proud of Shinba. XDDD

Takeuchi had green/blue hair and one of them said that he should explain to the audience why it’s that color. So Takeuchi explained that before, he dyed it pink and he actually wanted to dye it to purple for the event, so he went for blue hair dye, thinking that if you mix blue and pink together, you would get purple… but actually his hair just turned blue! LOOOL. XD

Ishikai and Ayumu said that it was fun doing this kind of event and it was their first time doing something like this: one team vs another team. XD

Ayumu requested us to yell out, “Otsukaresama (Good work!!!) and we did so and streamers shot out.

As they were leaving the stage, both teams high-fived each other as they passed by one another and said goodbye.

Overall, this was a wonderful 2.5 hour event!!! I managed to catch the last Shinkansen that would take me back and get to the last train going to my area although I was exhausted over work the next day! XD

It was my first time seeing Ucchi, Soma, Ishikai, Subaru, Takeuchi, and Shinba… now that I think about it, that’s like most of the cast! LOOOL

Ucchi seemed pretty laid-back and chill about everything but that doesn’t mean he’s super quiet either. XD

Soma was just adorableeee going “Tsukki! Tsukki!” all the time. LOOOL XD And he blew me away with guessing during the gestures game.

I had this image of Subaru being all cool and everything… appearance-wise but he’s really the mood-maker!! He was really funny and livened up the atmosphere. He’s a bit of a goofball. XD

I feel that Ishikai was the one that people liked to tease… what with the balancing balls and drawing incidents. XDDD

Takeuchi was very cool and seemed respected by everyone but I think he knows how to have a good time as well. XD

Shinba was just cuuuuute. He’s like a cinnamon roll and his voice is really nice too. XD

Ayumu never fails to make me think he’s so freaking adorableeee. His gestures were freaking cute especially when he was doing “Oikawa Toru” XD

Tosshi… he said that he was Shirabu Kenjiro again. XD And I can’t help but notice that’s considerably shorter than the others. XDDD But that’s what makes him cute. And he’s not the type to be teased either. XD I felt like he was like a senpai towards the others.. well he is! XD And he was part of what made Shiratorizawa team fun. XDDD

It was just so interesting seeing Shiratorizawa team interactions and Karasuno team interactions. It’s like the Shiratorizawa team is more childish although Karasuno team has younger members. LOLOLOL XD Karasuno was pretty much calm but I can tell they have a good relationship with each other. XD

It was super fun especially doing the actual fan chants!! XD I hope that there will be another event like this in the future! Thanks for reading!! Until next time! :3
