What's your hair routine?

The only time I brush it is running my hands through it in the shower, (a Wide toothed comb would also work) because with my curl type (it's somewhere around 3a iirc) it just gets frizzy and damaged if I use a hairbrush.

I shampoo and condition it in the shower and after showering use a hefty amount of leave in conditioner (any kind intended for curly hair tends to do the trick, sometimes I use more than one if im in the part of my cycle where my hair is driest). I apply it more towards the ends of my hair and avoid the roots. Then I part it and slick it back so it'll dry out of my face

I also don't wash my hair every time I shower (cuz that would dry it out), just on days it needs a wash/detangling. On mornings I don't wash it I perk/tidy it a bit with wet hands until it looks presentable

#also later in the day once its almost dry i turn my head upside down and give it a lil shake so it doesnt dry too flat #its thick so it takes hours to dry

#eddie munson #stranger things #sleep was an escape for Eddie #the upside down took that away #he lost the lucid ability and no longer being able to control the monsters of his imagination was potentially the scariest part #of going to sleep #he did his best to avoid sleep through different vices #one day when he’s at family video to return tapes Robin tells him to go to their break room #he looks awful and the deep bruises under his eyes worry her #Steve is taking his break and Eddie goes to sit next to him on the couch #he doesn’t realise how tired he is until he’s waking up with his head on Steve’s shoulder and hearing him hum #love grows where my rosemary goes over Eddie’s head as he flips through a magazine #turns out he’d only been asleep ten minutes but there were no nightmares #he starts to come by to sleep at the shop more regularly when eventually Steve just starts inviting him over #Eddie is uncertain but agrees and most nights he ends up unceremoniously passed out near or on Steve as a movie plays and he and Robin #bicker in low voices and Steve runs a hand over Eddie’s back #slowly the lucid dreams start to come back #and if that means Eddie starts to play out his romancing Steve might go #well let’s just call that tactical research #idkkkkkkk this is silly I’m sorry I get carried away

emet reminds eyrie of what they know of their grandfather on their mother’s side.

They never had the chance to meet him, and their mother rarely spoke about him. but he was a kind man—far too kind for the world. And he loved his wife. and the loss of her drove him mad with grief. he treated his children with scorn and distain until he took a long hard look at them, and walked out into the wilderness never to be seen. Their mother said it was the grief that killed him, in the end.

But, this has always been something they’ve known second hand though—they don’t know what it was like. what happened to their grandfather. they can ponder over what grief did to him, but there is no fully understanding what went on inside of a dead man’s head.

And eyrie thinks about that a lot in regards to emet.

I actually have been sitting here thinking about Viking Fury at Kings Island all day! Actually kings island also had that smurfs boat ride too, but I think that was replaced by the scooby doo ride that’s now boo blasters at boo hill lol.

Okay someone please submit the love tunnel Garfield dark ride from Kennywood tho. That’s a boat ride for sure 😂

#I really should make a rollercoaster or flat ride bracket #because that’s one of my hyper fixations #literally me giving my dad a two hour breakdown on why I love arrow dynamics #magnum xl-200 is my favorite rollercoaster because it feels just like Vortex used to before it became too rough to ride #as a kid I would ride vortex like 6 times in a row every time we went to kings island #that was before I was tall enough to ride the beast #the first time I rode the beast I HATED it #I rode it like a decade later and now it’s one of my favorites #best ride experience on a roller coaster I’ve had is steel vengeance #I really wish I had bought the picture of my dad and I riding magnum xl-200 #because I was gleefully grinning and he was bracing himself and grimacing #and I think that’s the funniest fucking thing I’ve ever seen #rollercoasters are so much more fun when their not perfectly smooth but don’t actually hurt you #like Rougarou at cedar point was smooth the first half and then head banged me so hard the second half that I literally #just don’t remember the good parts on the first half #Raptor at Cedar Point is the best B&M I’ve ridden #I’ve only ridden 4 coasters at Cedar Point rip #my home park is kings island #which is great bc kings island deaths are like #a drunk lady slipped her restraints on a flat ride that turned her upside down #three people electrocuted in the fountain on the same day #and the guy that jumped off the Eiffel Tower on my dad’s graduation night at the park #tower Johnny still haunts the Eiffel Tower to this day
