hey if u guys r sad about ofmd and want another show with gay people to watch you should consider watching Deadloch. It’s really good it’s really really good uh it might get a second season if the creators decide to do that.

if you watch good omens you’ll be able to watch Deadloch they’re on the same service. Uhhhh One of the actors from ofmd is there shes one half of the main duo (the other half is played by Kate Box who’s an amazing actor and Dulcie is now one of my fav characters ever) gets to wear an open Hawaiian shirt for like 3 of the 8 episodes which is a bonus. the fact that almost every character in ofmd is specifically a gay man is seriously so fucking special like usually a show will have 1 character from a minority group and then that character has to be every single thing - a person the straight/homophobic audience can accept and even like, someone that deals with their issues the way they "should" be dealt with, someone who's not too much of anything but simultaneously everything because every expected trait has to be displayed at some point or another.... versus this show with its massive cast of characters who are all able to embody specific (and extremely varying) ways to be a gay man where all of their journeys and personalities and approaches to their sexualities are so unique to them but so true to people that exist in real life........ i wish i could express this better coz it's such an incredible thing to see it genuinely makes my chest hurt with how much it means to me

i am a huge supporter of no romance in sonic whatsoever because 1. pre reboot archie sonic shows exactly what can happen when sonic writers are allowed to pair up whoever they want and write romance focused stories and it was Absolute Torture and 2. heavy focus on romance just feels REALLY out of place for sonic. friendship and family should be the main focus always in terms of character relationships. however i think tangle and whisper should be allowed to be a couple for real. the solution here is to just keep everything the same as it was before except randomly have tangle start calling whisper her girlfriend with no explanation the next time they show up
