How about 'good luck' for whichever ship you're feeling right now (which I'm 100% assuming is Kuzuhina lol)
jokes on you I’m doing soudam and stealing your brand because honestly I love kuzuhina but all I have written today is kuzuhina and I need a BREAK. The tables have turned and it’s 3am soudam brainrot hours. Also fun bit of trivia about me, when I get around (and am allowed) to get tattoos and have gotten enough tattoos to feel confident in getting some on my fingers, I plan on getting “good luck” across my knuckles!
Okay so this is me back on my soapbox about pre-dating soudam because that back and forth we had about house parties has been sitting in my brain and I just… love it and want it all in one place. I only have myself to blame, but you definitely didn’t help lmao
It was the start of the night the first time it happened: it was nothing more than a brief brush of hands when they both reached for the same bottle of liquor to make a drink with. There had been blushing and stuttering, but regardless they kept each other company: mostly just idle chat while everybody around them caught up.
A few drinks in, and everybody wanted to play a game. It took a while of arguing, but they eventually settled on Ring of Fire, and Nagito already had the cards shuffled and ready to go. Everybody huddled around the, admittedly too-small coffee table while Soda was grabbing another drink, and there really wasn’t enough room for him to sit too. Always a man with a solution, Gundham had simply leant back and helped him sit in front. With the other’s legs either side of him, half draped over his shoulder, it was increasingly difficult to ignore the swell of ohgodohgodohgod in his stomach, but he did his best.
They spent a while like that, drinking along with the others and eventually getting more comfortable. Soda wound up with Gundham’s arms around his waist and his head on his shoulder. At some point, they’d given up having separate drinks, and instead just drinking from the same glass since Gundham had long finished his last one anyway. Nobody seemed to question their decision to half-become a team, but that might have been that they were too tipsy to care.
Eventually, it all falls apart and somebody’s suggesting they play truth or dare (what are they, highschoolers?), and pretty much everybody is up for it. Coffee table moved aside, there’s an empty bottle spinning and this feels like the kind of experience Soda should have had when he was about five years younger, but he’s having fun so what does it matter?
By the time the bottle hits Gundham, they were both slightly past the point of tipsy and verging onto drunk. When Sonia dared Gundham to kiss him, both of them were too giggly to think anything of it. It wasn’t the first time they’ve kissed ever, over the last few weeks they’d been stealing kisses from each other whenever they were alone, but it was the first time they’d kissed in front of anybody else. Soda had half a mind to object, because he was sure that Sonia knew something, but then Gundham was right there and waiting, and how could he say no?
From then on, the rest of the night was spent stealing kisses from each other. Soda got one when he passed Gundham on the way to get another drink, Gundham got him right back on the way to the bathroom. Eventually, they ended up out in the backyard just exchanging kisses while the party continued inside. Soda couldn’t quite remember the course of events between kissing Gundham while he was going to grab a snack from the kitchen and actually being pressed against the wall by him, but he had absolutely no reason to complain.
Sonia called them back in after they were out there for god-knows how long, faces red from both the cold and the everything else, shooing them upstairs because they were clearly too preoccupied to participate in the part-ay, but he swore he saw her give a knowing smile and mouth “good luck” to him before she pushed them into a bedroom.
