One of the things I’ve been playing around with in my head regarding Jason’s appearance is whether or not he has visible scars from his death.

Per Lazarus Pit lore, it does remove all scars/blemishes from the body. Yet, this is sometimes very unsatisfying.

My friend and I had an idea for our one AU that his scars were just silvery marks that only showed up under certain light. And the more I play around with the idea, the more I like that type of concept.

I think moving forward I might describe them like that - patches of skin with no evidence of injury save for the off coloration (scars are usually lighter than the surrounding skin though burns are sometimes darker while they heal)

Playing a lot of Skrim lately so you all have to deal with it but I think Melony would be a wood elf and Max would be like... a Redguard. Maybe an Imperial. Definitely a human based race.

And Mel would def know healing magic. Like she's not a fighter at all, she only knows Run and Heal and sometimes Swing Dagger. She can heal her physical wounds and all her friends but nothing will heal the emotional and psychological damage she has sustained or is about to go through.

And Max is like.... Hired muscle. His home was burned to the ground by a dragon when they started coming back and he's never been the same. He makes his gold as a mercenary, and he's really fucking good at it. Probably uses skooma, though.

Anyway I think it would be so funny if Melony was the Dragonborn and Max was just like her hired muscle turned friend and they accidentally save the world together or some shit.

I also love how dumbasses on Twitter are complaining about how this is Rob Thomson or Kevin Long's fault. They aren't the ones in the batters box flailing at every down and away slider a foot off the plate. Marsh is very much a Kevin Long project and he's the only modicum of consistency on the lineup right now.

Also more generally re: the topper discourse because every time something goes wrong people complain and say he should get fired: he has been a very good manager for us. There was a time not long ago when phillies manager was one of the least secure jobs in America. Has he made the occasional baffling lineup or bullpen move? Absolutely (Stott and Marsh need to play every day what the hell are we even doing here) but again on the whole he has been very good. Once his tenure does eventually end it would certainly behoove us to go get a Craig Counsell type (which I think is what we were trying to do with Gabe Kapler) but again I must reiterate Rob Thomson is the best manager this team has had in nearly a decade and the people calling for him to get fired don't know ball.
