Hey, Anon! Thanks for stopping by! I love talking about anything related to bucktommy, so you've basically made my day with your ask!

This turned into a long ass post, so I'm putting the rest under the cut.

Yes, I really do think Tommy is here to stay for a while because, honestly, he's the perfect LI to become Buck's endgame.

And I know that that thought is the biggest issue with certain stans right now, but like, he can easily have little storylines weaved throughout the series with the main and guest stars. And, if you actually read the interviews that the actors and Tim are doing, it's clear that's the goal. In fact, I was actually going to make a post for that idea, but I'll just add it here:

Hen, Chim, Bobby

Tommy clearly has a connection to Hen, Chim, and Bobby from his days at the 118. We've seen it in S2, so it's a canon fact. Chim saved his life, so that's a strong fucking bond right there. Not to mention they clearly enjoy quoting movies and probably discussing the plot of movies together. (Thank you, Bobby begins for the bar scene) Tommy was there when Kevin died, too, so he understands the loss that Chim has experienced through the job. And let's not forget that he had the opportunity to watch Chim become an amazing paramedic.

When it comes to Hen, he helped get rid of Captian Gerrard when Hen was being put through hell. (And yes, I do believe he said something to the higher ups. He is a military guy, and following the chain of command is very important to them, so I'm not surprised he never voiced his opinions outloud. Add that with the idea that he was very deep in the closet, he was probably terrified of that man.) And he knows that when it comes to Hen, she will never give up to do what's right and I like to think Tommy took a page from her book and applied that to his life on his journey to accept himself.

Then Bobby. Probably the first man in a leadership position that treated him with kindness and respect. When Bobby comes to the 118, there's some resistance, mostly from Sal, but even through all that, Tommy sees that Bobby is fair (transferring Sal to another station instead of fully firing him) and welcoming (by incorporating family dinners).

Athena

I was struggling with how he'd be connected to Athena, but then I remembered: trivia night!

Athena and Bobby used to have game night with Michael and David. Can you IMAGINE Bobby and Athena inviting Buck and Tommy over for dinner and game night??? I can. And I am so here for it!

Teams would absolutely be: Bobby and Buck. Athena and Tommy.

And let's face it. Athena sees Buck as Bobby's un-adopted son, so if Tommy makes Buck happy, Athena is good.

Karen

This one is interesting and maybe a tiny bit of a stretch, but I really believe that Tommy and Karen could connect through their interest for aviation/aerospace. She's a rocket scientist for crying out loud. He'd be like a little kid at the place where she works.

I also like to think that maybe, due to his childhood and being constantly between homes, he can help discuss the trauma that Mara might feel.

Maddie

I mean, the most important thing to her is that Tommy obviously makes her little brother happy and giddy. She wants to meet him, which is something I can't recall Buck or Maddie ever saying before about one of Buck's LI. Maybe Abby, but Buck was living in her apartment soooo... yeah.

I know Lou has revealed the backstory he has set up in his mind for Tommy and after saying his father was an alcoholic, I can't stop thinking that maybe little Tommy unfortunately experienced abuse from his father or witnessed it happening to his mom. Tommy, having a childhood connected to domestic violence, while not in the exact same way that Maddie experienced it, gives them something in common on a deeper level. An understanding of how important it is to accept love and open yourself up to the possibility.

Eddie

Eddie's friendship with Tommy is actually so interesting to me too because I have this crazy "invisible string" theory that includes him.(Platonically) But, moving on...

Clearly, they share a love of the same things. Muay Thai, watching fights, cars, Buck, basketball, the military.

For me, the military is their real connection because of Eddie's breakdown. No one else in Eddie's life can really understand what he's gone through and how it feels to maybe be the only one of your unit to survive. I'm pretty sure Tommy has already gone through therapy, and since Eddie had no one to reach out to with shared trauma like Frank suggested, he found that second chance in Tommy.

Buck

I mean... they connected lips and soon hearts. 🥺 Sooo....

Next question...

I really hope their relationship evolves in the cutest, sweetest, sometimes naughty, way!

I want to see nervousness. I want to see them learning things about each other. I want them to cuddle and laugh and go on double dates.

I want them to worry about the other one during a dangerous call or rush to each other at a moments notice.

I want to see them fall so in love with each other that I can sue ABC for giving me cavities from all the sweetness.

Having said that... I also want to see disagreements. Arguments and vulnerability and then the process of apologizing and making up.

So, basically, I want them to evolve into a healthy, stable, loving relationship.

And hell yeah! There will be a kiss on Thursday. I'd like to believe we'll see more than one just because of Oliver's interview, but for sure, we're getting one initiated by Buck and honestly I cannot fucking wait!!!!

Buddie CANON in Season 7 Please!!!

It's time to STOP delaying their CANON Love Story.

I'm well aware that my opinion may be in the minority or unpopular but if it is then... so be it!

I hope Buddie still becomes CANON this season and the renewal for season 8 shouldn't hinder it.

Let's be real here for a minute because it's been 6 years and delaying their romantic relationship until season 8 won't do anything. Them going CANON shouldn't stop their storylines or anything else from progressing. In actuality, them going CANON should make their storylines better because there will be a myriad of other stories to include for them. For example, Buck and Eddie secretly dating then getting married by eloping to Las Vegas; Buck officially and legally becoming Chris' other dad instead of just his legal guardian; the perils they'll experience while trying to raise a teenage son (this could be fantastic); I for one can't wait until Eddie realizes Helena is the problem so he can tell her about that raggedy comment she made, "Don't drag him down with you Eddie" (I still roll my eyes at that $hit); Buck getting the training he needs to become captain one day (this has been foreshadowed since season 1) and Eddie getting promoted to be a paramedic or whatever else he wants to do since he's already said he doesn't want to be captain.

I do NOT want to spend another season waiting for them to admit they're in love with each other and I certainly don't want any more one-dimensional love interests shoehorned into their EPIC LOVE STORY like they were at the end of seasons 4 and 6.

They're on a new network NOW (ABC) so there's no reason for their love story to continue to be delayed and put on the back burner. There's no reason to wait for another season or even worse, the last one especially since there's no guarantee they'll get renewed for a 9th, 10th or future seasons.

Finally, here's a REMINDER...

Bathena went CANON at the end of season 1 which only had 10 episodes, therefore, BUDDIE CAN GO CANON IN A SHORTENED SEASON TOO!

you groan as the paramedics pull you onto the gurney, tara holding your hand as they load you into the van. ghost face had just attacked your group in the apartment you share with sam and the other girls, anika and quinn had been killed.

“tara,” you rasp, “is ethan here yet?”

she bites her lip and shakes her head, she opens her mouth to speak but she’s interrupted by the man of the hour.

“oh my god, y/n? shit, are- are you okay?” ethan stutters, reaching out to you. before he can though, chad pushes him against the side of the ambulance.

“where the fuck were you, man?” he asks, holding ethan up by the collar of his shirt.

ethan’s eyes bulge as he scrambles to respond. “i- i was at econ, man! seriously you can ask anyone there!” he cries.

chad doesn’t budge, his brown eyes searching ethan’s face. for what, you’re not sure.

“chad, he’s not lying.” you say, wincing as the paramedics put pressure on your wound.

“if you guys are done arguing, we really need to get her to the hospital.” the female paramedic growls, and chad releases ethan and walks away dramatically.

ethan rubs his neck and then climbs into the van with you, tara leaving with little to no hesitation.

the paramedics close the door and ethan grabs your hand as the truck begins to move, and you start to feel lightheaded.

“hey, don’t fall asleep, okay? josh, can you hurry it up a bit!” the paramedic yells. it’s starting to get hard to keep your eyes open, and they begin to fall slowly.

“we’re losing her!” the paramedics say, but it sounds muffled.

“what- what do you mean?” ethan’s eyebrows furrow as his grip on your hand tightens. the paramedic doesn’t spare him a glance.

when you arrive at the hospital, you’re rushed into surgery. none of the doctors answer any of ethan’s questions, instead opting to say, “we’ll let you know soon.”

ethan hadn’t meant for you to get stabbed, honestly. but you were just so damn selfless, throwing yourself in front of sam when he went to stab her.

as soon as the knife made contact with your skin he wanted to pull back, but it was too late. you stumbled back, falling on top of sam with groan.

“you bastard!” sam cried, attempting to throw a pair of scissors at him, which he dodged easily.

when your group started to climb the ladder, he was thankful they let you go first. he purposefully pretended he was struggling e to get the door open as you fled, and once you were safe and sound on the other side, he started to really try and open the door.

is it possible his love for you could ruin his family’s plan? yes.

does he care? no.

ethan’s not sure how long he waits there, he just know by the time they finish, it’s already night.

“family of y/n l/n?”

ethan’s ears perk up and he stands, the doctor nods at him.

“she’s awake and asking for you.” he says, gesturing with his head for ethan to follow him. ethan does so with no complaints.

“she’s still a bit disoriented off of the drugs we gave her, but she’s able to communicate fine.” he explains and ethan nods as they enter the room.

the doctor nods and closes the door, allowing the both of you privacy.

ethan stares at you for a moment, and then he walks besides you and grabs your hand.

“god, don’t scare me like that-“

“why haven’t you kissed me yet?”

ethan’s eyes widen and his mouth hangs open in shock, he laughs awkwardly.

“um, wha- ha, what’re you talking about?” he stammers and you roll your eyes.

“why. haven’t. you. kissed. me. yet?” you ask.

ethan guffaws, “i don’t…”

“is it because you don’t love me?”

he inhales sharply at that, his mouth forming a smile and he laughs.

he fucking laughs.

“you- you think i don’t love you?” he asks.

you scoff, “well, it’s just kinda weird, y’know? everyone kisses by at least the two month mark and we’ve been dating for six months, ethan. and the most we’ve done is hug or hold hands! it’s just… it makes me feel like you don’t find me attractive, or something..”

ethan’s eyebrows furrow as he shakes his head, “no, no. don’t even think that! you- you are the most attractive person i have ever seen. i guess i just- i never really thought about it.” he says, “i’ve never.. i’ve never loved someone as much as i love you, and i guess i just wanted to take things at your pace, y’know?” he rambles, scratching the back of his neck and staring at the ground.

your heart flutters at that, and if there weren’t wires stuck inside you, you’d pull him to you and kiss him silly.

“well, i’m not sure i can wait any longer.” you mumble.

ethan smiles at that, he leans down to you, his fingers brushing your cheek.

your lips brush, as if he’s asking ‘are you sure?’.

after a terrifying and long night, you had survived your first ghostface attack. you had lost both of your best friends, anika and quinn, and you were devastated and in shock that you were now a target. after getting checked out by the police and ambulance, you were waiting outside of your apartment with mindy, tara, and chad. you tried calling ethan at least 5 times but there was no reply, soon, you see ethan come out from the crowd of people at the crime scene and chad charges at him. they argue and ethan walks up to you. “ethan where the fuck were you last night?!” you yell at him. “y/n, i had econ! i’m sorry for not calling you back.” he tries to hug you but you refuse. “you didn’t tell me you were going to econ last night. i don’t know who to trust now ethan.” he looks at you with desperation and trying to convince you that he was innocent but you kept your distance.

after a series of attacks that followed, the group decided that it was best to beat ghostface at his own game and meet in the theater. while boarding the train to the theater, you got separated from the group alongside ethan and mindy. mindy was already suspicious of ethan from the start and you were starting to feel the same way. once you three got on the train, ethan wanted you to be next to him. “y/n please stay next to me. i don’t want you to get hurt.” “ethan i don’t know whether to trust you or not right now!” “just please for right now. just stay next to me.” he gives you a kiss on the lips and holds you in his arm as the train reaches your destination. after a while, you looked up at him and saw him staring at mindy, eyeing her with the most menacing look on his face. you tried to shrug it off but you couldn’t. when the train had reached your stop, you look towards mindy and saw her in the back of the train bleeding and in pain. “oh my fucking god mindy! what the fuck happened?! somebody help us!” you and ethan grab onto mindy and race out of the train while paramedics come to help. “y/n you go to the theater, i’ll stay here with mindy. you get to the theater and find that the main entrance is locked. you go around the back end of the theater and find a door leading inside. as you walk in, you try to be cautious and quiet as possible in case ghostface was already there. as you make your way in, you start to hear screaming coming from one of the rooms, you find the source to see tara and sam in shock as two ghostfaces attack chad. stab after stab. "y/n, tara we have to go now!” sam yells at you both. as the three of you run to the main center of the theater, you are cornered by the two ghostfaces wielding the knife. out of nowhere, a gun shot goes off and the ghostaces are out of sight. kirby comes out and explains that she was shot but sam and tara weren’t buying it and neither were you. all of a sudden, detective bailey comes out with his gun aiming at kirby. out of nowhere, he shoots kirby and the two ghostfaces emerge from behind. “no fucking way. it’s you?” you stare in disbelief. “yeah of course it’s me. thought you would know better after what you did to us.” “us?!” you scream at him. the ghostace to his left begin to reveal who they are. it’s ethan. 

“no no ethan i trusted you.” you start to cry as pain and betrayal fills your brain. he looks at you. that once innocent smile has turned into the most deranged stare. “it was easy y/n. pretend to fall in love with you just to get close to sam and tara. it was the perfect cover.” “so you were never in love with me? all of those times? it was just you using me for some sick fucked-up plan?!” tara tries to comfort you as you cry and cry. “listen we don’t have time for the lover betrayal storyline-” detective bailey shouts. “so who’s the ghostface next to you then huh? mindy? gale?!” tara cuts him off and yells. “well i was going to get there before you rudely interrupted me.” the ghostface takes off the mask. it’s quinn. “hey roomies. didn’t see that one coming did you?” “yeah because you died. there was blood all over you!” you’re in disbelief. how did she survive? “you see y/n all it takes is a little bit of fake blood and a good performance. thought you would know better mr. horror fanatic.” the trio begins to separate as detective bailey goes on a monologue and ethan and quinn threaten the three of you with their knives. 

“you’re a killer. just like your father!” detective bailey shouts at sam. “NO IM NOT!” “yes you are you motherfucker. YOU KILLED OUR BROTHER!” the three of you look at each other in confusion. “you told us your brother died in a car accident.” ethan points at you. “no, no, no you sweet dumb thing. he died in woodsboro. at the hands of this dumb bitch in front of me.” you couldn’t believe ethan. all of this for his sick fucked-up brother who nearly killed your friends last year. “you all went through this much trouble trying to kill us for vengeance for a sick borderline pedo man-child?!” you scream at all of them not feeling threatened at all. “woah, you watch your mouth there baby boy.” “oh fuck you ethan!” he slices your arm with his knife and gives you a smile. quinn charges at sam but tara smacks her with a brick, tossing her to the ground. kirby shoots at ethan and bailey and they fall to the floor. the three of you run to the exit on the top floor. 10 feet away from the exit, you miss your step and fall.

 “help me! sam! tara!” they try pulling you up but the blood on your hands makes it too slippery for them to pull you up. by this point, ethan was already up, desperate to catch you. “come down here y/n. i wanna know how it feels being inside of you.” “fuck you ethan!” “FUCK YOU!” he yells back at you. you can’t hold on any longer at this point. “sam. give me the knife.” she hands you the knife and you give her a menacing smile. you fall to the ground and ethan quickly stabs you in the side. “gotcha now pretty boy!” you scream and jab the knife into his mouth. he looks at you in disbelief and pain. you slowly move the knife further into his throat which makes him start to cry. “go burn in hell sick fuck!” you remove the knife and he falls back on the ground. he’s dead. you smile knowing that he’s gone but you start to feel the pain that he was once your sweet, cute boyfriend but that was all in your head. that’s the way you like to remember it.

Sinnoh Gym Leader Headcanons Pt 1:

Roark:

- has a, dare i say, “rocky” relationship with his father. originally his father wanted riley to take over orebourgh’s gym, but since he rejected it roark was his second choice. he’s still kind of bitter over it and likes to rebel. (i.e “my dad told me not to do this” *does the thing directly after*)

- every fossil that the other miners find is double-checked by roark because he knows his shit.

- when he was in orebourgh trainer’s school he would be that kid moaning in the back of his class bc he thinks that’s peak comedy. also because he knows it’ll piss his dad off.

Gardenia:

- gardenia can interact with fantina’s ghosts without crying, and that’s it. one time, she tried to interact with cynthia’s spiritomb. it took the elite four and cynthia thirty minutes to calm the girl down.

- yes she loves plants but she’s also a piercer hear me out she can definitely do piercings she’d be that girl that gives other girls piercings in the school bathroom.

- is eterna’s local weed dealer. not as good as morty’s shit, but volkner tells her she’s getting there. cynthia definitely knows but looks the other way.

Maylene:

- maylene had her first kiss with aaron at age seven, as they were childhood friends. they both exclaimed “ew!” as soon as their lips touched.

- her mom left her when she was twelve bc of her dad’s gambling problem. her dad was never home which left her in the care of her grandmother. she’s angry over this. so, so angry. but cynthia tells her one day that she herself was raised by her grandmother, too – and look at her now: sinnoh’s champion. this inspires maylene to train harder.

- it was rumored in veilstone that maylene’s hands were made of pure steel which is why she could punch so hard. one time as if to prove this rumor, flint asked her to punch him in the stomach as hard as she could. the league had to shut down for the day as flint recovered in the hospital. it was awkward to explain to the doctors and nurses as to what happened. no, flint did not want to press charges but he’s terribly embarrassed. aaron tried to warn him, so he figures he deserved this outcome.

Crasher Wake:

- wake did wrestling shows that were in the style of a drama (think, WWE) and would come up with the most outrageous storylines.

- was the kid that beat up bullies at his trainer’s school bc “two against one isn’t fair” and, “pick on someone your own size.”

- frequently challenges byron and fantina to a drinking contest after gym hours, and he almost always loses. but when he wins, he’ll throw his hands up, and then promptly pass out.

Fantina:

- when she was ten, she marched up to her parents and told her that she wanted to be called “fantina” from now on. her parents welcomed their daughter with open arms.

- is Kalosian, which according to the sinnoh league members would explain why she can hold her liquor so well. she usually comes out on top in those drinking contests between wake and byron.

- is the most widely known coordinator around the world. you could go to an island with no electricity and the children and elders knew the name “fantina dumont.” if you were fortunate enough to go to one of her shows, you would see paramedics on standby because when she sent out her Drifblim a few people would pass out in awe, not fright.

Byron:

- before he married his wife: byron shot his friend in the ass with a BB gun by accident, went to hoenn with his buddies and they got kicked out from every single bar by staging fights so they wouldn’t have to pay for drinks, and swam from johto to kanto after he and his friends flipped a police car and were being chased. he drops random stories like this at league meetings and everyone stares in bewilderment – including his own son because what the hell dad wdym you dropped acid with the champion of Unova once???

- occasionally stars as a guest in one of wake’s wrestling shows. they play lovers having a quarrel before wake tackles the shit out of him.

- during canalave’s yearly pride parade he is the one giving dad hugs because “even when i was a kid, men have always had men… y’know, i had a buddy once, back in the mines… and he was a little off to the side, but he was damn good with a pickaxe. had a beer with his husband once.”

Candice:

- snowpoint city in the sinnoh region is known as the “home of the yodelers.” on top of being the gym leader, candice is the best damn yodeler that snowpoint has ever seen.

- she also had a reputation as a little girl for throwing snowballs at visitors from another region before declaring sinnoh was the best.

- if you want gossip, candice will spill all the details. she knows everything about everyone. no one is more up to speed about who’s-sleeping-with-who, who-cheated-on-who, and how Stacy Cambridge from her trainer school definitely got a nose job and yes, it’s definitely noticeable. no one really asks for her gossip, but she blabs it at the league meetings anyway.

Volkner:

- smokes a pack of cigarettes a day. one time to be cheeky at a league meeting he lights one up, therefore cynthia threw him out – which was what he wanted so thank you cynthia.

- has been on so many fucking antidepressants and anti-anxiety meds throughout his life that he’s basically an expert on them. a lot of the younger gym leaders and elites (i.e gardenia, aaron, candice, roark, and maylene) are depressed and/or anxious and lets them know his own experiences with meds.

- when he was a kid, though he wasn’t a sunyshore hoodlum, he did learn how to use a pocket knife. not that he ever needed it since he had a pikachu to thunderbolt the motherfuckers if he wanted to.

I did end up waking up super early (on accident) and watching this episode but I decided not to post my review until after it had been on TV. I've really got to start getting into writing my essays now cause I have less than two weeks even with the deadline extension but I can manage to spend 12 straight hours thinking about writing it (rotating Casualty in my microwave brain) and not even realise I've done it until my mum's alarm goes off.

Well, it was an episode, wasn't it? Sometimes Casualty gives us masterpieces of television (cough Switzerland) and sometimes Casualty gives us "what the fuck was that?" (cough Too Much, Too Young - that was a very mixed Saturday) and Tinderbox was, at least for me, pretty much in the middle. I guess I wasn't as invested as I could've been cause there wasn’t much of my faves, I'd probably be more positive if we had more of them.

Pretty busy and all over the place episode but that’s to be expected at the start of a miniseries, I guess.

Stevie my beloved, she was great in this one. Elinor Lawless is very talented!! This has got me looking forward to her own storyline even more.

I know Ryan was unpopular but I loved him as a problematic little bitch character. Shows like this sometimes need a Ryan to cause problems for everyone and he served his purpose. Like, he is terrible but it was amusing to have a terrible member of the predominantly very sweet baby nurse quartet. I’ll miss him, honestly. I don’t imagine he’ll come back since there’s a new new (I still think of the baby nurses as new) nurse joining next week.

I made this last night, he didn’t actually die but I still think it’s funny:

I really liked that final shot of Jodie, Rida and Cam together but, to quote my mum as it happened, “I feel like all three of them have wanted Ryan to get beaten up at least once before”.

I love a good family storyline, especially when the family has multiple members in the main cast cause I think it allows for more development of the relationship (gestures wildly at Jan and Teddy), and Max and Jodie were great today. Loved all their interactions. Especially loved their conversation about Max’s kidney failure and especially “I wouldn’t allow it, even if you wanted to.” “Which I don’t.” “Well at least we agree on one thing” and “I’m sorry I’m not what you expected” (!!!!!!!!!!). I think they’re more similar than either of them realises, and I love that kind of dynamic - in both my ‘main fandoms’ my favourite characters are girls whose relationships with their fathers could be described as “I’m nothing like my dad (I’m just acting exactly like him)”. There’s definitely examples of that in this episode but back in Driving Force I remember a scene where Dylan tells them that neither of them should be treating Max’s mum and they both stand there looking at him with the same expression.

I expected that knowing the Teddy infidelity arc will happen would affect how I watch the show and when Paige and Jodie were treating the same patient I was 👁️👁️ the whole time. Whatever, I’ll get over it (hhhhhhh).

Sah was in this but so barely that the credits didn’t actually include Arin, which is weird to me.

I will say I think Casualty has been on weird pacing recently. I’d blame the miniseries format but it feels like there has been some storylines that are too long-running without saying anything new (FAITH) and other ones that get dropped too quickly without enough time to actually go into the ideas they implied were happening.

I think it was a good start to the new series but I would’ve liked them to cut the Faith stuff and have something actually happening with the paramedics instead.

Yes, I know complaining about Faith is beating a dead horse. However, in continuing to write her and this storyline, the writers have invented a dead horse beating machine to keep beating the dead horse perpetually. It goes on endlessly and has absolutely nothing new to say. And while some storylines have been getting these rushed and incomplete conclusions, Casualty had an opportunity to give the Faith storyline a conclusion with her going to rehab and staying there and then they didn’t. Tired of it. Also, not to be mean to the presumably overwhelmed Holby HR department but why would they ask Faith of Drug Theft Fame to come back??? This is why your hospital is like this, your hiring practices are terrible.

If there was an AU post canon in which Shouto sacrifices his quirk to save Deku, there's no way to return it back (sorry Eri) and he doesn't want to get involved in the hero world (because it hurts him feeling useless), which would Shouto choose?

At first I thought healthcare working, but I'm getting bored of the same thing since I've seen a lot of that. Anything else?

EMT / Paramedic works great for Shouto because of his 5-pee-pee-man storyline and him being basically a field medic for the team already. So I dearly love fics that explore it, and I think that with a loss of quirk, it is always a great area.

I think otherwise, you have to think about a bit what fits Shouto's character (of the things we know about him, the things we know he enjoys or is good at):

I could see him retire to the countryside to live with / close to his mom and learn to grow vegetables or something like that

Him having a lot of experience with fire and ice, I could see him working as a fire-fighter or in mountain rescue (and I assume he'd keep some of his temperature resistance)

Lean into his love for animals and have him volunteer at a shelter or start a cat cafe

Have him (and Touya) start a charity together that helps domestic abuse victims / they may even operate a shelter or something

Have him pick up a hobby that he was never allowed to spend time on as a child and have it become his profession (he seems to have a knack for interior remodelling / maybe working with historic furniture or any traditional Japanese crafts would suit him)

Teaching, especially small kids or specialized quirk counselling. I think the Remedial arc showed that Shouto is actually good with kids, and what's more, hanging around them makes him really happy. And it's another way to make him experience childhood again.

Why not lean into his "Shouto will do what you ask from him" and have him start modelling? Maybe at first for charity purposes, but then he makes a life out of it.

I think these would all work as AUs. I don't really see him working in very menial jobs (such as a coffee-shop AU) unless he is the owner. You have to keep in mind that Shouto is likely to have money, unless your AU also includes Endeavor cutting him off for some reason, and he'd have savings / name recognition from being a pro hero and some good friends. So his work wouldn't be about simply make ends meet, but either focused on how he can make the world a better place without a quirk (and in a TDDK context, that's super-interesting for Izuku to see as he saw no value in his own quirkless self, so seeing Shouto make the transition and perhaps embrace it could be a nice twist) or how losing his quirk could be a blessing in disguise allowing him the kind of freedom to re-imagine himself that he never had before.

marjan is easy: comphet realization to lesbian arc. I don’t even need them to give her a gf i just want them to Address The Closeted Lesbianism they’ve been handing me over the past four seasons. i want salim to come back (in person or in conversation) for the rule of threes and have it force her to reckon with a lot of assumptions she had about herself. im on my hands and knees about it. I’ve been rewatching with a friend recently and i fucking forgot that they have her say a line about how her favorite place to hide as a kid was the closet. remember those new bts photos where she’s basically wearing the lesbian flag as a headscarf. lone star writers room i am IN YOUR WALLS. also i want to meet her sister. i need someone to call her mouse

nancy my beloved… honestly i just really want a nancy begins episode!! i want to know why she became a paramedic, i want to know about her relationship with her sister and if there’s any particular reason it was a soft spot for her during the DNR episode… I don’t have any particular ideas for specific i just want to know more about her!!! actually I’d love her to have to confront Tim’s death a little more directly. they made that whole thing about Owen which is fucking crazy to me, I’d love for the next time TK gets hurt (lol) for it to be something that dredges that up for her.

grace… miss grace i want to see you angry again. no plot line in mind i just like it when she’s pretending she doesn’t get angry or stubborn, she is such a fascinating character study. i love when she’s a contradiction. she and carlos teaming up was one of my favorite things abt s3, i would be so jazzed to see more things of that flavor.

tommy. hm… I don’t think I have any particular storylines for her in mind but I want more of her and grace and judd together because they are so delightful and lovely and best friends. OH ACTUALLY. I want something with tommy and charlie. this baby that was named in honor of the late love of her life. o don’t know what that story would be but there’s something there for sure…

carlos is the same as nancy tbh, I want a real full carlos begins! I want to meet his sisters! I want to see more of the mess that was growing up gay and feeling out of place and trying to be what your dad would want even though he thinks you’re too soft for it. why did he do it anyways! I also would love to see him and his mom being more involved, partially because obviously they had a horrible loss and trauma and she saw it happen but also because I love andrea:) she’s everything 2 me

judd I have been waiting for them to make you captain since SEASON THREE!! i want owen to retire and i want them to expand on the tension we got for the period he was captain!! i want to see how the dynamic changes and how his past issues come up when he’s in charge For Good. i want to see him get emotional about it and i want him to be captain while wyatt is his probie if they put him back on the firefighter track after his recovery :) bc that would be fun conflict and i think everything they did with owen (traumatically lost whole crew, son on your team) would be 100x better with judd

mateo is also a difficult one for specifics. I feel like they’re relatively fair with him? even with the low screentime all the secondary characters are relegated to. I’d be interested in seeing more fallout about his cousin, and I LOVED what they did with him and captain tatum so anything of that flavor of earnestness from him is always so good. maybe he and tatum will be buddies off the clock :)

tk getting hurt in increasingly absurd ways is always a classic that I look forward to them playing into lol

misc: i want to see more big brother wyatt with charlie getting a little older, i want less owen solo-plotlines, more ghost/memory gwyn i love her, carlos with his curls, the vega twins being involved in something maybe? that would be fun and stressful gjfhdhf

EDIT: OH MY GOD I FORGOT PAUL. I ABANDONED MY BOY. ok paul deserves literally any kind of robust plotline. Paul begins for starters, but also so much of his trans plotlines feel a little fumbled. I want a really earnest well done episode that isn’t necessarily About him being trans, but his transness is a factor and it’s handled in a really genuinely good and relatable way. they OWE HIM AND US THAT!! i also would love to see more of the gay kids being in gay spaces :)

To all the fans looking forward to watching the new season, how would you describe Season 4 of 911 Lone in just 3 words?

Ronen: I could give you one word, stressful. It is stressful this season, whether it’s. The weather phenomenons or personal storylines? There is some stressful things this season and especially with TK. You know, like from the moment we watch episode one, there is a very stressful situation that he has to go through with Carlos that has to do with their future wedding and Tim has not held back at all and we are starting from the very beginning and very stressful season for all the characters, not just TK.

What can you tease about TK’s and Carlos’s journey throughout Season 4?

Ronen: Roller coaster. A complete roller coaster. We’re going to have such amazing highs and such crazy lows and. You know, again, it just shows. How TK and Carlos can overcome anything and their love and their bond and their. You know, their ability to overcome obstacles is just. Truly amazing because. I think most couples would not have been able to survive what they’ve been able to survive and season four truly shows that and we we are going to deal with. Perhaps one of the most stressful situations of their relationship and we’re going to see that very soon in the beginning of the season, so. Yeah. But I think overall. They can overcome anything. And they’re they’re such a strong, beautiful couple. So I truly believe in them.

What’s the next challenge for TK in Season 4 of 911 Lone Star?

Ronen: There’s many things. There’s many things. I think one of the biggest ones is we immediately find out in episode one. You know, it’s the big secret that we keep teasing that Carlos has and. I think there’s another huge one in Episode 4, which I think is the episode I’m most proud of so far this season. And then, you know, there’s always challenges of being a a paramedic, there’s challenges every single day.

I think there’s challenges that we may not necessarily see on camera, but there’s always challenges of being an addict. I think that’s something we can’t forget that. TK is going through this journey and this battle every single day. Um, and you know, he’s constantly, I think in some sort of. Journey or challenge? Um, that’s just sort of. The cards that have been dealt to him and yeah, it it it makes sense why he is such a sort of resilient person.

ANNE we know Carlos solving his dad's murder will be one storyline in S5. What do you think will be TK's storyline? What are your predictions for TK's drama? And what would you like the main storyline to be? Carlos and his dad's or something else?

Tessa, after season 4 I might have to give up on predictions. Prior to the premiere, I was SO SURE that there was absolutely no way that Carlos' secret was that he was married. I even wrote a really long post about it the day before the premiere aired, going carefully through each point and the evidence supporting why there was no way it could happen. (I was completely right, by the way. My arguments were sound and the evidence was there...but that's not always how things work on this show, and I've accepted that!)

And then for a very long time, I adamantly maintained that there was absolutely no way Gabriel was going to die in the finale. In the days leading up to the finale, the evidence became so overwhelming that I did cave on that and admit that, yeah, Gabriel was probably going to die, but I went on and on for weeks about how it wasn't going to happen. After all that, I'm not sure if I dare make predictions for season 5!

I do feel fairly safe in assuming that Carlos' main storyline is going to deal with solving his dad's murder. I would like TK to be a part of that and I think he probably will, at least tangentially even if he isn't involved in the actual detective work/solving the murder itself. (Though I would love for him to be very involved). I really want them to dig into this storyline and do it justice, so I hope it will be one of the main ones for the season, if not THE main one. My ideal scenario would be to have it introduced at the beginning of the season and then have it continue in the background before a grand conclusion at the end or close to the end of the season.

Aside from that, I don't know if I can predict a TK storyline, but I have a few ideas for things I'd like to see:

1.)I love TK as a paramedic, particularly the idea that he's truly found his calling after becoming a firefighter for reasons that had perhaps more to do with his dad than they did with him. A storyline focusing on TK as a paramedic would be amazing, especially if it dealt with his unique perspective gained through his addiction. Something like The Calling by @orchidscript would be incredible!

2.)Something to do with TK and his sobriety--though I don't think I would want to see TK relapse or struggle with his sobriety. Maybe something like TK deciding to sponsor someone. I think there could be a lot of potential for drama there, especially as TK is someone who cares so much about other people and would take that role incredibly seriously.

3.)Hurt TK--I know some people think that we've had enough hurt TK. I am not one of those people. For me, the main draw is that fact that we've never seen TK badly hurt at a time when he and Carlos were in a committed relationship. Season 1 coma, Carlos had strong feelings but didn't even know if they were a "we." Season 3 coma, they were broken up and Carlos didn't even know if TK wanted him there. Both times Carlos had to hold back his feelings in part due to his uncertainty about their relationship status. I'm not saying I necessarily want a third on screen coma, but I want to watch Carlos watch his HUSBAND get hurt. (And if it involves being held at gunpoint, even better!) JUST IMAGINE the angst potential! Especially after Carlos has just lost his father?? That's such delicious angst to me. Do I want to torture Carlos? Apparently yes. I'm sorry, Carlos, I love you very much but I want you to watch your absolute worst fear begin to play out before your eyes for my personal enjoyment.

Buckle Up, Bitches. This is a long one.

Okay, I've definitely had some gripes with episode 2 and the fact that it took me this long to rewatch the episode to collect my thoughts says something. I even stopped the episode halfway through and got distracted with something else for about 3 hours before remembering what I was doing and resuming it.

...

I didn't like this episode. Unfortunately the bad outweighed the good for me.

First up, Lola, Norman, and Julien.

Why the FUCK did they do a storyline where Lola cheats on Norman?? Their whole introductions/characters in season 2 were about how Norman didn't see her after they had a kid so she went out of her way to force him to look at her by flashing the freeway. Go off Queen.

She gets arrested but she and Norman are super happy and making out, and they even admitted that the situation saved their marriage when Josh and Sue gathered people Maddie helped to convince her not to quit. The cheating storyline is so out of character for Lola that when I saw episode 1 and she was acting weird around Julien, I thought she knew he was a bad guy but he had threatened her off screen or something and she didn't want to worry Norman, not that they were seeing each other???

I thought Julien had just mistaken them for smugglers since they were living on the cruise ship, Lola found out and confronted him, and he threatened her to keep quiet about the operation but didn't get to call off the guys he was working with in time so Lola and Norman ended up getting jumped.

When Norman found out Lola was cheating on him after getting shot and was groaning in pain, all he could do was go into denial and talk about how Lola cheating couldn't be true. Then when he was lying on the poker table talking about the life he and Lola had, 37 years, selling all their stuff with handmade price tags, it made me feel both genuinely sad and angry. Not angry at Lola, angry at the writers for making this storyline for them. If people who have never seen the show go back to watch all the seasons and get to Lola and Norman's episode, they're gonna have it in their mind that their love is a lie and apparently Norman doesn't love Lola enough to keep her satisfied which is why she's cheats on him later. They're gonna see it as Lola being a horrible person this whole time, someone who likes to sleep around, or even just chalk it up to "Women ☕" and that pisses me off! That's not their characters and the fact the writers were portraying them in that light is horrible.

Then we have the whole Hen storyline, and oh boy do I have words about that.

Episode 1 did an amazing job reintroducing the characters to new people (except for Athena, I don't care about Marisol). In fact, if not for the Athena thing, I'll make a post about that later, it would've been a solid 10/10 (9/10 cause Karen wasn't in it lol).

Hen was shown to be a great captain when under intense pressure, going with her gut about which wire the pilot said to cut and even double checking, being a teasing but helpful friend to Chim about the forever dating thing, being kind and knowledgeable with the woman in the hot tub incident and teasing Chim again, and being an ear Athena could rant to when she thought Norman killed Lola. She was absolutely amazing...

Episode 2 ruined all of that.

She's at the car accident and is caring and attentive to the daughter and her mom, but then she's suddenly in a bad mood and making assumptions when it comes to the guy who blew through the light. She sends Chim over to him and when the dude is acting rude, telling them off, and threatening their jobs, she does the right thing and asks if he's refusing care. He says yes, he doesn't consent, so she doesn't give him care. Even in a bad mood she's still doing her job properly. Chim's been a firefighter/paramedic longer than her and should know that if someone refuses care, you can't force the care onto them, so he had no reason to try to make her change her mind about that.

Putting that aside, her words to Chimney really made me upset,

"No, he's done. Why is it that drunks always come out of these things without a scratch?"

Why the fuck did the writers make her say that? What did the dude being drunk have anything to do with it? Also Aisha's delivery is great but the line is terrible. Why put so much emphasis on the guy being drunk?? Hen doesn't act like this. She gets pissed off sometimes, yes, but in season 1 when Bobby had a relapse and she and Buck found him in his apartment, she was empathetic and sensitive to his struggles and has been ever since. You can't tell me if Bobby was the captain on that scene, she would've said it anyway because she wouldn't have. So I'm just supposed to believe that when he's not there, that's how she acts??

I think the thing that really made me upset was the fact they kept going back to the guy being drunk. He could've been completely sober but texting on his phone while speeding, he could've had a muscle spasm that made him hit the accelerator, he also could've just been a dick and decided to run the light for the hell of it. The part about him being drunk or not shouldn't have gotten so much attention, because either way HE STILL REFUSED CARE!!!

They could've still had the whole Hen's intern captain position being paused because it's a councilwoman's son and rich people use money to sue and try to make things go away to keep themselves in a good light with their public image. Like the chief said, all the signs of impairment could've been indications of the brain bleed the dude had, but again, THE GUY REFUSED CARE!!!! Hen says this but still gets put on pause cause rich people.

Buck saying they can't fire her for one bad call is true, but it also wasn't a bad call??? Toxic reports or not, if the guy refused care then he refused care!!! It's not her problem!!! It would've been worse if he refused care, she gave it to him anyway, saved his life, but now she's getting sued for bullshit reasons and can't be a firefighter/paramedic anymore because she went against protocol.

And they're talking so much about how the guy was definitely drunk. So drunk that obviously everyone could smell it off him. WHY DOES THIS MATTER????

DRUNK OR NOT THE GUY REFUSED CARE!!!!!

You might be wondering why I'm repeating myself but I was wondering the same thing watching the episode. Why are they repeating the fact that the guy was drunk??? And then Hen thinks all of them betrayed her because they don't know for a fact if the dude was drunk or not.

Hen's ranting to Karen (omg Karen hi!!! 🥰🥰🥰 I'm so sorry this is your only scene 😭😭😭) saying,

"I just feel like if I was any other captain, I would not have been benched."

Shut the fuck up, yes you would have. It doesn't matter who the captain is, what mattered was who the victim was. I'm sure there's been times where someone refused care and ended up dying because of it. It's like that woman's dying mother with cancer who took a bunch of pills but had a DNR so when Hen and Chim showed up they legally weren't allowed to do anything. Even though the daughter was freaking out and telling them to do something, they stayed professional and said they couldn't. Neither of them got benched for letting that woman die. Hen's getting benched because the dude's mom was a councilwoman, not for any other reason.

Hen's upset cause she thinks Buck, Eddie, and Chim were trying to comfort her because "they assumed she screwed up", then she starts second guessing herself on whether or not she did screw up and goes on about how she thought the guy was an "entitled rich brat" anD OH MY GOD WHY WERE THEY ON THIS FOR SO LONG!!!!!

Entitled or humble, rich or poor, brat or dom, drunk or sober, IT DOESN'T MATTER!!!!

THE GUY REFUSED CARE!!! STOP HANGING ON THE MATTER OF IF HE WAS DRUNK OR NOT!!!!

And then the reports come back and it turns out he actually was drunk plus had drugs in his system. Whoopty fucking doo. That didn't matter nor did it excuse the fact they carried that stupid plot for no reason across the entire episode.

The guy. Refused. Care. That should've been the end of it.

Sorry guys, I love 911 but this episode was a flop for me. 3/10. If not for the cool action scenes and beautiful transitions, it would be much lower. Hopefully things are better in episode 3.

TL;DR

The Lola cheating on Norman with Julien storyline fucking sucked, and everyone and their mother focusing on if the guy who caused the car accident might've been drunk or not storyline fucking sucked too. He refused care so it shouldn't have mattered if he was drunk or not.

Billy Russo x Female Reader (60 part story)

This follows pre- the punisher into the storyline of daredevil, punisher season 1 and beyond

This is NOT Canon Billy. This is decent human being Billy left with bad options over worse decisions

Chapter Summary/Warnings: Billy proves yet again nothing will keep him from you and Adi

Frank watched you pace back and forth for about a half an hour before he stood up and moved to block your path. When you froze in front of him he tilted his head slightly "They'll come get us in a little while ok?" You nodded then said "You called me Billy's fiance" with a shaky laugh.

 "Yea they're big on closest family and I didn't think mother of his child had quite the same ring" he replied with a shrug so you shook your head "No Frank I um I sort of proposed to Billy"

You could see the confusion on his face before he ever asked "When?" You suddenly felt a bit self conscious when you admitted "While he was bleeding out?" You weren't sure how Frank would react but after a moment he sort of laughed then said "Well you and Bill have never done anything the easy way. But does this mean I'll be your best man instead of his?" 

You rolled your eyes but you were actually grateful for his teasing tone. It made your nerves calm down some even if it was only temporary. 

A nurse walking towards the two of you got your attention when she asked "Are you Mr Russo's family?" You felt Frank's hand at your lower back before he said "Yes ma'am" she smiled then said "Doctor Morales asked me to escort you to his room" you glanced up at Frank who gave you a quick nod so you said "Lead the way"

You hated ICU. There was a reason you'd went to become a paramedic instead of a nurse. You could treat everything from stab wounds to wrecks all day but when it came down to it you kept them alive then dropped them at the door. Yeah you and Alice always checked on the status of your patients but that was different than having to hold your breath to see if they were gonna recover or go down hill.

Your feet started feeling like they weighed about fifty pounds each when she walked into one room in particular. You wanted nothing more than to see Billy but you also dreaded to see just what loving you had cost him.

"C'mon" was all Frank said before he grabbed your arm and bodily pulled you into the door behind him.

You froze with your arm still in Frank's grip as your eyes landed on Billy's still form in the bed. There was a heart monitor keeping a steady rhythm hooked up to him along with a bag of antibiotics on drip and he had oxygen up his nose. 

"He's breathing on his own" you said as you let out the breath you'd been holding. The nurse nodded "Yes ma'am. Mr Russo is a fighter that's for certain" you cut your eyes at Frank before walking closer to the bed. "Does he have stitches or staples?" 

The nurse pulled back the blanket so you could see the gauze covering Billy's lower stomach "There's internal stitches and external stitches. Bandages will have to be cleaned twice a day which I'm sure you can handle once he goes home. All in all he was very lucky" "When's he gonna wake up?" You asked ignoring the fact that once again someone was telling you how lucky Billy was despite the fact that he was laying in a hospital bed.

"With the anesthesia and pain meds he'll probably be out for another couple hours. The two of you are welcome to sit with him" she checked a few of his vitals then exited the room leaving you and Frank standing at the foot of Billy's bed.

"Bad dejavu" you blurted out and Frank just shook his head "Yeah I was just thinking that""

You ended up curled up in a chair on the right side of Billy's bed while Frank had taken up occupancy of the other chair that was closer to the window. "Is it just me or is it cold as hell in here?" You asked with a shiver so Frank stood pulling his hoodie off "Here sweetheart. That adrenaline crash is a bitch"

You pulled his hoodie on over the scrubs you were wearing and smiled "Thanks Frank" he nodded "Get some sleep" "I can't I need to call and check on Adi and what if he wakes up?" Frank cut you off halfway "I will call and check on Adi and if he wakes up and you're asleep in the chair it's not like he can go far.You worked a sixteen hour shift and have been running yourself ragged since they bought him in please just take a breath ok?" 

You were exhausted to the point that keeping your eyes open was a struggle so you nodded and laid your head back against the chair "Thank you for being here Frank" "Anytime kid"

There was a reason why Billy always hated pain meds and even only drank in moderation. He couldn't stand feeling cloudy headed. Especially after having the TBI.

He could feel a tightness in his stomach and heard what sounded like the beeping of a heart monitor. Heart monitor? He was in the hospital. Why was he in the hospital?

When he was finally able to push past the haze of whatever drugs he'd been given he remembered fully what happened. That guy had tried to kill you.

He'd gotten shot to protect you. The last thing he remembered was your eyes staring down at him. God you'd looked so sad.

He slowly opened his eyes and was met with a hockey game on the tv hanging on the wall. He turned his head to the left first and saw Frank leaned back in a chair "Frankie?" He called and the other man's head snapped around "Well fuck Bill. Welcome back" 

He half smiled then his eyes landed on you. You were curled up in a chair right next to his bed. You looked like you were wearing scrubs and he was fairly certain that was Frank's hoodie you were wearing.

"Is she ok?" Frank followed his line of sight then nodded slowly "Yeah,You scared the hell out of her. By the time I got to her I think a little shock may have set in but she's ok now. She's been out a couple hours"

The haunted look in your eyes was still playing through his mind. He had to see you awake. He wanted so bad to see a smile on your face. It would be worth any amount of pain he was currently feeling. Hell the pain was better than the fog of the drugs.

"Can you wake her up man?" He finally asked Frank after a moment. "Yeah" Frank stood to walk around the bed but stopped right before he got to you then glanced back at Billy "You did good Bill. She's safe and that asshole is dead" 

Without waiting for Billy's answer Frank leaned down and shook your shoulder gently "C'mon sweetheart. Wake up"

You swatted Frank's hand away at first. You didn't want anything to eat nor did you feel like coffee yet. You just wanted to sleep until either Billy woke up or Karen called saying Adi wanted you so being mommy would push any other thought out of your mind. 

You heard a chuckle join Frank's after you said "Five more minutes Castle or I'll show everyone the Punisher should be afraid of me" and your eyes flew open "Billy?" He'd hit the button to push the bed up so he was in a reclined sitting position but his eyes were glued to you and he had a smile on his face "Good morning sleeping beauty"

You were out the chair and to the side of the bed before you could even acknowledge the pinch in your side. "Baby. You're ok" you felt tears sliding down your face as your fingers clasped around Billy's hand before Frank leaned over your shoulder and pressed a kiss to your forehead "I'm gonna give you two a minute. I'll call Karen and give Curt a call too" he winked at Billy who said "Thanks Frankie" then teased "Next time you two want to get everyone together let's do a movie night" before he walked out into the hall.

You glanced down at yours and Billy's hand and felt more tears coming from your eyes "I'm so sorry baby" his other hand came up to cup your chin so he could make you look at him. The raw honesty in his eyes made your heart flip "Y/N why are you apologizing? You didn't shoot me, well not this time anyways"

You dropped your gaze ignoring his attempt at a joke then said "You almost died because of me Billy. I love you so fucking much and I thought I'd lost you. I lost your pulse, that was one of the worse things I've ever experienced and if you would have died protecting me...I don't know what I would've done"

When you finally met his eyes again he patted the bed next to him "C'mere baby please" you slowly walked around the bed and slid in next to him careful not to hit his stomach. You laid your head over on his shoulder so he laid his head over on yours.

"Y/N you and Adi are the best things that's ever happened to me. From the day I met you I knew I'd end up with you. Frank had preached for years about quality over quantity and I always brushed it off then the day I walked off that plane and you were standing with Maria with Lisa on your hip. I knew what he'd meant all that time. I wanted you and not just for a night. When you told me you loved me the first time it was better than anything I'd ever felt. I fucked it all up and almost lost you for good but despite it all you still loved me and our love made our babygirl. Are you seeing a pattern here? Since I met you even at my lowest you've been my reason to fight. I don't regret taking a bullet for you. I never would"

You tilted your head to press a quick kiss to his neck "I'm sorry we've wasted so much time" "It still lead to us being back together so that's what matters" he replied then a smirk spread across his face "Did you propose to me or was that the blood loss?"

You couldn't help but laugh before you said "No I did" he pulled you in for a quick kiss then pulled away and said "I've got to say no but because I want to be the one to propose to you" you smiled then pressed another kiss to his lips "Don't take too long"

Frank walked back into the room about that time and raised an eyebrow at how close you and Billy were "Um I don't think he's cleared for that" you felt your cheeks warm so you gave Billy another quick kiss then stood out the bed. Frank held his phone out "Adi wants to come see mommy and daddy after lunch. That ok?" You glanced back at Billy who nodded "Yeah that's fine"

While the three of you were waiting for Karen to park and come up with Adi Billy broke the silence by saying "Frankie what are you doing tomorrow?" Frank looked at you then shrugged "I don't know. I've got a meeting first thing about starting the training for junior agents then I'm free"

Billy nodded then said "Good you can take Y/N car shopping. I think we can all agree it's past time" Frank looked at you then shrugged "Sounds good to me"

You were standing by the door of Billy's room when you spotted Karen and Adi step off the elevator "MOMMY!" She hollered and took off at a run for you with Karen struggling to keep up.

Adi slung herself into your arms. "Where's daddy?" She asked about the time Karen had caught up so you jerked your head back towards the room "Let's see if we can find him huh?"

When the three of you walked back into the room Billy's eyes lit up when he saw Adi on your hip "There's my babygirl" he held out his arms so you walked over and helped her climb into bed next to him "Aunt Karen said you were hurt and mommy was crying. I was scared" 

All of you exchanged a look before Billy said "Baby I'm ok. My stomach is gonna be sore for a while but daddy is ok... I promise" she was careful not to hit his stomach as she squirmed up far enough to place a kiss on the scar that marked his right cheek "I love you so much daddy" the smile he had deepened even further as he pulled her into a hug "I love you even more pumpkin"

When it started nearing dinner time you expected Adi to want you to go home with her but she announced "Mommy I'm going with them" pointing to Frank and Karen. "What do you mean baby?" You asked and she rolled her eyes very dramatically "You stay with daddy"

Frank chuckled "Guess you got your marching orders Y/N. Straight from headquarters" "I guess so" you agreed. Adi walked back over to the bed so Karen helped her up so she could hug Billy "Love you daddy" "Love you more" he told her and kissed her cheek.

You walked them to the elevator and Frank offered to bring you some dinner back but Alice and Kenzie were already planning to stop by. "Call me if she changes her mind, ok?" He nodded "She'll be fine Y/N. You just catch your breath ok?" "I promise Frank" you hugged him then Karen before picking up Adi in another hug.

When you got back to the room a nurse was sitting the cot Frank had asked for down in the corner of the room. You thanked her with a smile then retook residence of the chair next to the bed for time being.

"If you want to go home and get some rest I'll be fine" Billy offered and you cut him off with a look. "Like hell. I'm not going anywhere until you're coming with me" he half smiled and said "Yes ma'am"

You glanced down at your phone because it'd went off with a text from Alice. Billy waited until you looked back up to question "So are you going to tell me what happened with Moore?" You took a deep breath then said "Can it wait until Alice gets here?" His eyes never left yours and you knew he was trying to read your face to tell just how bad the story was. He slowly nodded "Of course" 

You heard Alice before her and Kenzie ever made it to the room. You glanced up and smiled when she came flying in the room. "Jesus Christ! I knew it! I knew I should've taken you two home!" 

Billy cracked a smile "Well hello Kenzie, nice to see you" Kenzie leaned around Alice and gave a small wave "Hey Billy. Glad you're ok" 

Alice sat the food she'd brought down in the corner of the room then grabbed Billy's chart and flipped through it.  "Surgery went good. Missed any major organs" you shook your head at her then Billy caught your eye. You'd promised him an explanation now you owed one.

"Alice, Billy wants to know what happened with Alex Moore" the moment you said the words her eyes flew up to Billy. "What happened was he was a fucking psycho and your baby mama here refuses to back down from shit when she's protecting someone" 

He nodded but still looked a bit confused you took a breath then said "We responded to a call, what Alice two weeks after I came back from maternity leave?" She nodded "Yeah about two weeks. It was from Alex's now former wife"

You looked up into Billy's eyes and half smiled before continuing "He'd beat her so bad Billy she miscarried. We thought he'd left the area, hell NYPD was searching for him but he double backed" 

"Then what happened?" He asked and you saw Kenzie lean back against the wall. She knew everything that had happened but it still wasn't something she liked hearing.

"He ended up outside the E.R. He grabbed his ex, tried to kill her and us. Y/N fought with him. She protected me and his ex. She also ended up getting stabbed twice by the son of a bitch before security came out the hospital" Alice choked out tears brimming her eyes as she reached for your hand and you gave hers a light squeeze.

Billy looked from you to Alice "Baby, why didn't you tell me?" You shrugged "When was I supposed to throw that into conversation Billy? Oh hey honey oh you wanna know what you missed? Well I spent a week in a hospital when our daughter was still a newborn and I almost lost my spleen" 

He shook his head slowly then finally said "Well it was worth getting shot to kill that son of a bitch" 

Alice and Kenzie ended up staying until visiting hours were almost over. You hugged them both and they each hugged Billy before leaving.

Alice stopped at the door "Russo?" "Yeah, Alice?" "Thanks for protecting her" Billy nodded "I always will"

After they left you were sitting in the middle of the cot watching the news. You cut your eyes up and realized he was staring at you.  "Are you mad I didn't tell you?" He shook his head "No. I'm thinking about what if you would've died and god that hurts worse than anything" "Now you know how I felt when I found you and Frank then again last night when you were bleeding out in my arms"

He nodded "Yeah. By the way why aren't you up here with me?"  You shook your head "I can't. Too big of a risk that I may hurt you. That's why Frank wrangled the cot up" "Can I have a kiss at least?" He asked that half smile turning into a full blown Russo smirk. You rolled your eyes playfully but you were so grateful that he was ok. He was alive and doing well considering he'd been shot a little over twenty four hours before. 

You stood and walked over to the side of the bed then leaned down to let your lips barely brush against his. When you started to pull back he grabbed your hand "I know you're not calling that a kiss sweetheart. Act like you love me" 

You raised an eyebrow at his words but when you saw the way the corners of his eyes were crinkled trying to fight back his smile you knew he was trying to get a rise out of you. You leaned back down this time cupping the side of his face with your hand feeling your fingers play across the stubble lining his cheek. 

He met your lips halfway both of you melting into the kiss. Billy had always been an amazing kisser and it seemed yet another brush with death hadn't effected that any. He could still make you tingle with the way his lips moved against yours. You moved your hand back to play with the hair at the nape of his neck as the kiss deepened slightly. 

You pulled back from the kiss and he smiled up at you "Now that's how I know you kiss" you gave him another quick kiss then said "I love you Billy but you'll get all the kisses you want once you're healed up. At least you'll be coming home with me and Adi so that's one thing to look forward to right?" He nodded then his smile dropped "Just wish it wasn't temporary"

Your gaze left his for a second while you tried to find the nerve to say what you wanted to next. When you finally raised your eyes again he was watching you curiously.

"Then if you don't want it to be temporary and I don't want it to be temporary why don't you just move in completely with us? We're still just as in love as we always were. Hell more so now. Adi would be over the moon to have us both under the same roof and I don't know about you but I feel like we've already wasted too much time apart. I don't want to waste any more" 

"Are you sure?" He asked quietly and you felt your face flush. Maybe you'd misread him. Maybe he didn't want to live together again. Your face betrayed your emotions because the next thing he said was "Y/N I'd love nothing more than to live with you and Adi. Sweetheart a second chance for us and a chance for our family to be together is all I've wanted for months"

Before you even thought about it your lips were back on his. The kiss deepened as Billy pulled you closer to him. Your hand went to his chest careful to stay high enough it wouldn't hit his wound. Luckily before the two of you got lost in each other a nurse cleared her throat at the doorway. You pulled away with a blush and Billy simply chuckled when she said "Well Mr Russo I see you're feeling better" "Oh yes ma'am" he replied eyes never leaving yours.

Having a rough upbringing life has given Valentina many lessons and one of them was, you can't escape your past...but she obviously didn't listen. After graduating paramedic academy and finally landing a job, she thought she finally had gotten out of the struggling state to make ends meet in which she has been trapped for most of her life...and she did for around 6 years, more or less.

After being a floater for a few months she was finally posted at Firehouse 51, she had a great partner, she was building lifetime long friendships and her relationship with her boyfriend was nothing short out of a telenovela. But oh man...she never loved anyone else the way she loved him and quite frankly he was the only man she ever fell in love with.

But disaster and chaos struck her life inevitably...growing up she and her little sister were raised by her older brother, who became overnight their legal guardian after their mother checked out on them. Long story short, her big brother got involved in some sketchy stuff in order to put food on the table and put them through school. Now many years later, after all of them successfully left that kind of life behind, they were forced to leave Chicago for their own safety.

And it was the toughest decision Valentina had to make in her entire life. That mixed with pain and irrational thinking, she decided to cut everyone off so she could move on without spiraling down into a complete wreck. Her departure has left behind a lot of unanswered questions and hurt people...and she knew that. Why? Because she never found peace in the new city that was supposed to be her new home. Chicago was home. And after "hiding" for a few years she knew she had to come back...only a whole lot of things were to change.

Sitting across the table from the man that first believed in her professional skills and gave her first stable job her foot was unconsciously bouncing up and down. "I'm really glad to have you back here...and I'm sure everybody else will be just as happy to see you again." "I have to thank you Chief...for basically keeping my seat warm all this time." Sharing a laugh his eyes drifted behind her, as another person was making his towards the office.

Valentina knew who it was before she ever turned around. It was the reason why she didn't go straight to the locker room and instead came into the Chief's office.

"Chief you wanted to see me?" A very familiar voice echoed through the room making Valentina get up from her seat and turn around to come face to face with him.

"Oh you have to be kidding me..." He spoke the moment he realized who was standing right in front of him.

"Severide...Valentina will be taking back her seat on Ambo. Now...I brought you in here because I need to hear from both of you that you can work together from now on...and whatever has happened in the past won't become a present issue in my firehouse." Chief Boden spoke hoping the Ambo saga will finally be over, as he has had a tough time with floaters recently.

"It's fine by me Chief." She quickly answered as she started to feel the tension already building up. "Same with me." The Lieutenant mumbled, still trying to piece together what had just happened.

"Good, you're dismissed!"

Leaving the office and walking together towards the common area, there was nothing but unpleasant silence among the two former lovers...until Valentina stepped in front of Kelly making him stop abruptly.

"I know a lot of things have happend while I've been gone and I know you're married now...but I swear I didn't come back to raise any havoc." In her mind, the sooner they got out the weird, uncomfortable conversations, the better...but she could've waited at least a bit longer.

"Not raise any havoc? Really? That doesn't sound like you..." And with that, he continued walking, leaving her just standing in the middle of the hallway.

as much as i miss many of the old casualty characters, im beginning to really like some of the new ones! ive seen some people also staying stuff like this, but here are some thoughts so far: donna's incredible, and i love her and her storyline so far (her friendship with dylan is really cool too), max is turning out less if a twat than i used to think him as, and when he is a twat it's for interesting plot/character arc reasons,, the new nurses are all developing into their own characters well,, and i still love rida! jacob as a paramedic is nice to see too (even tho he's not a new character), he seems to be doing well, and he's been involved in some interesting plots.

also i think we're still down a consultant, so we might be getting a new one soon? unless they decide to have rash fill that, seeing as he's a clinical fellow methinks? which would be slay!

although all of the faith is very annoying. at least the show seems to not be portraying her as perfect and unable to do anything wrong anymore?

HGLHSIERGLSJDGALKSHGLK i was gonna put the [do you have any idea how little that narrows it down] meme but im pretty sure u mean this one <3 and in any case i will always be down to ramble about the Sillies(tm)

ok so those guys in particular are from the fox procedural called 9-1-1 Lone Star, which is a spinoff of the original 9-1-1 (which just got moved to abc after some Drama that went down so my tag for it is 911 (not fox) lmaoo). but both shows are about first responders (firefighters, paramedics, dispatchers, police) with a particular focus on firefighters. 9-1-1 (the og) is set in LA, and primarily focuses on the 118 firehouse and the firefighters/paramedics there with some other characters in the main cast who work as dispatchers/police officers (the police storylines are more often than not FULL of copaganda which sucks but the main focus is on the firefighters so i'm able to enjoy the rest of the show). 9-1-1 Lone Star is pretty much the same except it's set in austin texas, and is about the 126 firehouse. there are onscreen queer characters in both (in the og there's a married lesbian couple raising a kid, and in lone star there's the aforementioned hot gay boys [one of whom is unfortunately a cop but i swear to GOD i will get him out of there. one day.] and in lone star there's also a trans man and wlw woman in the main cast.) and my favorite thing about these shows is the found family !!! like these are the shows that have endeared firefighter aus to me because they live together and eat meals together and just. the familial/platonic love is So Powerful and it legiterally makes me cry to watch. like there's romance ofc but genuinely it's one of my favorite found family medias to ever exist. its So.

of the two the og is my favorite for a LOT of reasons, but they're both pretty enjoyable !! lone star definitely has more of a comedic tone than og (theyre BOTH funny but lone star doesn't have as many somber intense moments as og does, and they're much more spread out so there's a lot more room for goofy shenanigans. but og still definitely has plenty of those) and the team dynamics in them both are just...ughhh <3333

HOWEVER. lone star has ..... Him...(derogatory)...he's the fire captain and (despite lone star SUPPOSEDLY being an ensemble show with no Main Character) is in fact. the Main Character. and he's the blandest most obnoxious crustiest white man to ever LIVE. he gets most of the storylines and he's constantly propped up by the writing as The Coolest Guy Ever when he's just . not . i hate him so much it's unreal it's soo so unreal (<- biting the bars of my cage) BUT the rest of the team ??? absolutely love them. like i DO love lone star a lot its a great show with great characters and dynamics but it just has. the most annoying guy to ever live front and center when ITS SUPPOSED TO BE AN ENSEMBLE SHOW FEATURING EVERYONE EQUALLY. grr. anyway. og does a much better job of being an ensemble show, and i could not choose a favorite character of the main cast if you held me at gunpoint. angela bassett is there. i am gay. jennifer love hewitt is there. i am very gay. etcetera.

AND SINCE YOU ASKED SPECIFICALLY ABOUT THE LONE STAR GAYS ILL TELL YOU A BIT ABOUT THEM

so one of them is tk strand (firefighter/paramedic, also the son of the Main Character (derogatory). i have many many many thoughts about that. i would probably get gunned down in this fandom if i ever said them aloud.) and the other one is carlos reyes (a private detective TO MEEEEEEEEEEEE but unfortunately fox is full of cowards who refuse to see the truth. they wanna have a gay cop in their show sooo bad </3) and they're kind of the main romance of the show (there Are others ofc but theyre like. The Focus. which is fine ig but i do wish there was more focus on other relationships because in general lone star isnt as good as the ensemble thing as og. but i already complained about that so i digress.)

now they're a fun pair because one of them has been shot, frozen almost to death, and otherwise put into a coma on MULTIPLE occasions. and it's not the guy whose entire job is to get shot at. (the whump in both of these shows.....................absolutely effervescent. im thriving here.) and they have a very fascinating relationship because their personalities fit together really well but they have different ways of coping with shit that kind of tear each other apart a little bit. which is of course terrible for them but incredible for me. and the writing is at times ridiculous. soap opera-esque, even. they're ridiculous. i adore them. they cannot catch a god damn break and i love that for them even more. <3

A History of Violence Trailer Review

so, the trailer happened…

I just feel a bit like

bros….. (usual ranting below the cut)

I’ll talk about Teddy first because what is the point of this blog at this point, if not to go on about him? I watched through most of it and I was like “wow, he’s not being slutty, this is amazing for me” and then we got to the end and I clocked into the PR job. For some reason, probably projection-related ones, I struggle to believe he’d cheat on someone. But Casualty has deigned that he must and I guess that Holbyverse infidelity is basically a minor moral offence that about 50% of the population of the city must have committed at least once. Still feels especially bad coming from Teddy; hypocrisy you can see from space or whatever I said about “New Romance For Teddy” in that post a while back. Him crying? Great, I’m horrible to my faves and I love all the episodes where he is sad. And Jan’s there for him, so their relationship hasn’t been ruined past the point of no return (which I’m not surprised about, those two were always going to reconcile). If it weren’t for the infidelity, I’d probably be really excited to see what happens next in Casualty and with Teddy but it’s kinda casting a shadow that I need to come to terms with.

Also, I’m a tiny bit convinced Sah might leave/be killed off and I have been for a while. I don’t think I’ve seen a picture of Arin filming in ages but I’ve seen loads of pictures of all the others together, without them. I thought it would be weird for them to fake-leave only to real-leave a couple months later but this trailer has also got me like 👀👀 for reasons I won’t specify because I’ll sound like a conspiracy theorist, I’m probably being silly and I’m not necessarily expecting that Sah will go but I’m definitely considering the possibility.

Brief acknowledgment of FAITH STUFF WILL NEVER BE OVER, WILL IT? Still no comment beyond that.

For all that I don’t enjoy Faith and Iain stuff, it does seem to be related to some Jacob and Iain stuff in the trailer and I’ve really been enjoying their interactions so there’s that. Honestly, Jacob joining the paramedics has made Iain feel like he’s more integrated into the paramedics as a team than he was when it was just him, Jan, Teddy and Sah.

The stuff with Stevie looks really, really good. I’m really excited to see where they go with that.

So does the stuff with Jodie and Max. And Max’s mum is back too! I do wonder if the same issue I’m having with Teddy right now might start to affect Jodie a little but at least she hasn’t got anyone she should be being loyal to. I also enjoy Dylan’s continued involvement in the Max and Jodie stuff.

New characters look great, we’ve heard about Siobhan joining and she looks interesting even if I’m still bitter about Donna, but I think Ngozi is introduced to us by this trailer so that’s exciting (though I do worry a new staff nurse means Ryan, who was slowly growing on me, is leaving). Also, Zoe returning, which is something I feel like we’ve known about forever now.

Brief, but there was Rida and Rash stuff and I hope we’re about to get a sweet romance with no horrors. I guess I love the horrors on some level, or I wouldn’t watch it, but it’s nice to have something pleasant happening in between.

Oh yeah, Charlie’s leaving. That’s the whole big thing. I know it’s a big landmark for the show but I don’t really care.

Overall, I guess I’m looking forward to it being back. The focus seems to be on the Stevie storyline and the Max and Jodie storyline, and at least that hopefully means that the continuation of the Faith Stuff will take a backseat compared to before the break. Teddy… I don’t know. I believed that the questionable things he did before the break made sense for his character, they felt like reasonable developments on his personality even if they weren’t always the writing choices I would’ve made (cough the proposal). But I struggle to believe he’d do this. I think he would have to be really going through it to do something like that, and I guess he has been really going through it, but unless the writers lean into that fact when making him do this, I think I’ll struggle to come to terms with it as part of his character. A real mixed bag of a trailer for me but at least Casualty-typical horrors are still being inflicted on the paramedics, some things never change.
