Relationship Headcanons

How about some relationship headcanons for all of them?

Miles Morales

He’s so sweet when you guys are dating. He doesn’t have much to any experience when it comes to dating, so he’s kinda basing it all off of media he’s watched or read, and from what he’s seen between his parents.

He brings you cheesy gifts on your anniversary, like flowers or those really big teddy bears that’s holding a big plush heart. Hed also go out of his way to get your favorite cake or dessert, and if you don’t like sweets, hed get you something else.

He loves kissing, Miles would do that thing where he lifts one of his legs when you kiss, like in the cartoons. The best way to distract him is to kiss his cheeks or lean over and kiss him on the lips. It always makes him lose his train of thought, and makes him cover his face and giggle.

Miles loves holding your hand, you two can always be caught holding hands in one way. Be it by intertwining your fingers, or just locking pinkies when you walk. Its one of the best ways to help ground Miles when he’s stressed, since just feeling you hold his hand helps him focus on something other than stress.

His parents love you, since you are nice and respectful, and never refer to them by their first names, and you make Miles so happy. They’ve seen how mushy Miles gets, and he almost has hearts above his head when he talks about you, so they’re happy that he’s happy.

Miguel O’Hara

Miguel is a little more subtle and quiet about his love for you. He’s a pretty jaded guy, and has a deep fear of losing you. So, when you guys start dating, he might be kinda standoffish or scared of getting close to you, since he fears he would love you too much or somehow scare you away.

Shows his love in quieter ways, like bringing you your favorite drink or letting you lean against his shoulder when you are tired. It would take a while before he would cuddle you back or kiss you on the lips, but Miguel would always kiss you on the forehead or the top of your head.

Is a little insecure about his fangs or claws, since they come right out of the bottom of his fingers and don’t act like normal claws. When he sees you don’t mind though, it helps lighten the insecurity a bit and after a while hed grow comfortable, and would stop hiding them.

When he feels completely safe and secure in your guy’s relationship, you see a whole new side of him. He’s such a secret cuddlebug its insane. Look at him and tell me he isn’t touch starved. And now that he has you, there will be no way for you to escape his strong arms. Don’t get it mixed up though, he’s the little spoon and cuddled against your chest, not you against his.

He always kisses you like you mean the world and the stars to him, like its gonna be your last. This is because a small part of his brain is still constantly scared he will lose you, or that he’s gonna die on missions. Because of these fears he might need some hugs and kisses after missions.

Hobie Brown

Hobie is an easygoing guy, so he wouldn’t make the biggest thing out of you two dating. So, if you are one for big displays of affection of devotion, he wouldn’t be your guy. He likes to keep his love more subtle and on the quiet side, just for you two and no one else.

Would still bring you small gifts, like his guitar picks or a cool shirt or jacket he made for you. He loves when you wear his clothes and will wear yours too if possible. The moment you agreed to date him you pretty much signed up for him raiding your closet for anything he likes. And he probably looks better wearing it than you ever did too.

Isn’t a mushy guy, but still likes to cuddle as much as the next guy. Doesn’t care about being big or little spoon, just wants to get close to you, especially after a long and stressful day, or if you’ve ever gotten hurt in one way or another. Because dating Hobie would probably end up with you getting hurt every now and then, but dating Hobie also means you know how to defend yourself too.

Hobie is the kind of guy to start wearing a chain with a lock on it when you two get serious, it’s the most visible he is with his love for you. He’s also extremely loyal, no one could even catch a smidge of his attention with you around, so you would never have to worry about him cheating.

Writes songs for you and about you, they can get a little cringy sometimes, but you love them anyways. He would also just make up songs on the spot when you guys are doing stuff. Like about how much he loves your hair, or your outfit, or how you smell good today.

Tadc pilot spoilers!!!!! Go watch it!!!!!!

This is just my thoughts on the pilot, in no particular order:

ok so. The abstractions are 100% gonna end up breaking out of that prison and causing mass destruction. You cant just pile a bunch of embodiments of insanity in a room like that without consequence

Its interesting that caine doesnt delete someones room/door when they abstract. He just crosses them out

there was a worm on (off) a string character???? and theyre DEAD???? 😭

Everyone in the vircus ends up there by accident??? I assumed caine had some play in the process, but apparently you just put the headset on

I like pomni. Good main character

So far there really isn't anyone i dont like actually. Theyre all very good and fun

"we found the zooble hole" finally have the context, though it wasnt just a giant pit full of zooble parts like i assumed

For some reason the part where caine is choosing pomni's name and he goes "what about pomni?" does something to my brain. I keep replaying it

Favorite male character:

Michael’s technically not a guy but Michael. I like him so much. I have gender envy for him. I wish I looked like Ted Danson.

Favorite female character:

Eleanor no contest she is such a good protagonist. I love women who r mean and stupid.

Least favorite character:

I don’t really dislike any of em they all serve their purpose even the nasty ones.

Prettiest character:

Tahani. Every time she is on screen my brain becomes cartoon wolf going awooga. What else is there to say.

Funniest character:

Jason. That’s all.

Favorite season:

I would have to rewatch but I think season 2.

Favorite episode:

Again I would have to rewatch but I think the trolley problem one.

Favorite romantic ship:

Chidi/Eleanor is one of my all time favorites they make me weak.

Favorite family relationship:

Eleanor and Tahani have a really fantastic dynamic and I like seeing them interact.

I don’t hate it or nothing but one time when I was trying to scope out the fanfics for the show I found a LOT of Eleanor/Michael. What’s up with that.

THE OWL HOUSE

Unfortunately my boyfriend and I are mutually autistic about this Disney show and making it everyone’s problem.

Favorite male character:

Hunter and Belos if you can’t tell from my reblogged lol. Can’t pick one bc what makes me so interested in both has a lot to do with the dynamic they have and I don’t think I’d care as much about either if like Hunter was just a generic sad boy without all of that abuse trauma and Belos was just a regular evil emperor without the really insane implications making all those grimwalkers has about his psyche.

Favorite female character:

For a really long time it was Eda but the more I think, it’s kinda Willow now? I wish she had gotten more focus in season 2 lol I miss her.

Least favorite character:

Jacob Hopkins I guess? He’s pretty minor but I don’t. Like him he kinda wigs me out.

Prettiest character:

Mommy? Sorry. Mommy? Sorry. Mommy? Sorry.

Funniest character:

KIKIMORA. I just ohhh she’s sooo oh my god girlllllll she’s so pathetic I love her she’s bewitched me.

Hollow Mind. It is just good and it took Hunter from “funnie little guy I like a lot” to “you could project your trauma on this thing!”

Favorite romantic ship:

The ideal for me is that Luz, Amity, Hunter and Willow are in a polycule where everyone except Amity and Hunter are dating. You may not like it but that is peak efficiency.

I do also like all of the canon ships in the show. Raeda is fantastic on all levels, Huntlow is just really cute, and Lumity is special to me bc it’s the type of ship (sapphic rivals to lovers) I was really into as a baby gay who was JUST figuring out I was queer. Idk 14 year old me would have finally gotten what it wanted if the Owl House was around a decade ago ya know? That means something.

Favorite family relationship:

I like Luz and King’s whole siblings thing they make me emo!!!

Favorite friendship:

Hooty and Lilith are REALLY FUNNY, but emotionally I like Gus, Willow, and Hunter being a squad. It’s sweet.

Least favorite ship:

Alec said this but Hunter/Edric is just like. There is nothing there except they are both skinny teenage white boys. They have not even met. Get your fix how you want I’m not mad that people ship it at all but this is a show full of interesting and well developed relationships already you know?

She lets herself be distracted. The most closed of all of them. An actual literal real world child prodigy, boundlessly curious and passionate for the world, and ruthlessly strategic. And now -she has merged with the best evil minds of Newtopia, been forced. She has become the city's evil heart. She refused to see the rot at the heart of the kingdom (she's smart enough to have discovered it) and now she has been eaten by it. Shes lost all control of her body and mind - by all accounts she must be trapped under the suffocating crush of the Core, yet aware. But at least, she is not alone anymore ....

Anne is the leader in the field, the soldier, the superweapon, the beacon, the protector, Sasha is the general, the tactical and violent hand of/against the state, and Marcy is the queen....strategic, focused on systems, improving lives

This is very random but I really want to know your opinion on literally all of the beetles movies

HIIII OK I WILL DO THAT yes i love to talk about these movies. ive seen all of them except the last one (let it be) sooo here’s the ones ive seen: 1. A Hard Day's Night (1964) This movie is fantastic im gonna say its the second best beatles movies and it’s the best live action one. paul has a very funny little evil grandpa in this movie that tells ringo he needs to go get laid so ringo walks around with his camera taking pics of random things and then gets really upset and sad because a girl yelled at him on the street. this movie is super funny british people are FUNNY it turns out 2. Help! (1965) insane film this is about ringo having a ring that some cult uses to sacrifice people so they come to England to try to get it off him and then decide they’re just gonna kill him. so it’s basically like cartoon humor of some people trying to kill ringo and the beatles for an hour and a half. like they saw out the floor from under ringo at some point. and they sic a tiger on him. they try to blow the up with tanks. it’s suchhh a weird movie it’s amazing. at some point paul (beatle) gets shrunk down really tiny and he’s naked and he takes a bath in a cig tray with some alcohol that got thrown on him. really rec this film it’s BIZARRE. 3. Magical Mystery Tour (1967) I just realized these came out like one year of each other pretty much . they were churning these OUT. this one is really weird it feels like a fever dream. the music is really good of course but there’s not really a plot. also there’s a stripper at the very end and they censor her boobs it’s the best part of the film. 4. Yellow Submarine (1968) MY FAVE MY FAVE my huge childhood obsession film. ive seen the movie so many times my dad showed it to me as a kid and i had like tons of beatles yellow submarine action figures (i still have jeremy). so idk i might have seen this film at least a dozen times? I’ve watched it 4 times this year. it’s so great all the songs are fantastic and the animation is great it has one of my fave animated movie styles ever. jeremy my friend jeremy is in this please watch it he’s so good he makes u believe in love the end of this movie makes me cry its so powerful

XO. she’s a girl who was born and raised by a single mother in seoul, south korea. they had their fair share of struggles, but they made things work as well as they could. mother worked many odd jobs to put food on the table, so she wasn’t home as often as nara would’ve liked her to be. as a child, there was a certain comfort she found in reading books, but all of that changed when her mom surprised her with a newly-bought tv and game console ( specifically from nintendo ) one day after work. from that point forward, she became entangled with the world of video games. they provided her with endless hours of entertainment, especially when she was left alone for longer periods of time.

XO. the older she became, the more she began to make friends to fill the void her mother left inside of her. nara began to crave the attention of everyone, but that’s only because, naturally, human contact felt so good—it was hard to explain. it seemed so simple, but most of her childhood was spent in solitude; being raised by cartoons, video games, and novels. so, now that she was able to mingle with her peers, she never really wanted it to stop. was she clingy? yes, but a comforting thing is that most—if not all—of her closest pals were of the opposite sex. they were quick to warm up to her interest in things that seemed “boyish” to other girls her age, and well, most of the time they liked that they had a cute girl following them around. in essence, everyone involved won in the end.

XO. in high school, nara truly discovered that she could meet a whole brand new world of friends online. using the internet, she could play games with people from all over the world and she liked the sense of community. she met someone who used to stream for a crowd while playing overwatch and, well, he introduced her to it. shortly after, she began to do the same thing. her audience was EXTREMELY small; she was by no means a massive name in the streaming world. though, the little bit of a “fanbase” she did have were really obsessed with her. she was given endless compliments, tons of attention, and she was maturing into a woman who was in the early stages of mastering the art of her feminine wiles.

XO. at eighteen, her following was growing at a slow pace, but she was dedicated to the art of making other people swoon over her. she would often have flirty conversations with the boys and girls who’d watch her; almost playing with their feelings in order for them to feed her affection. it was like she was a succubus without incredibly evil intent—and without the cannibalism. 😂 it was getting a little out of hand—what with juggling the feelings of a few different people all while doing her best to appear lovable. it was easy for her, though. she was petite, she was girly, she was frail—many people felt ( and hell, still feel ) the need to protect her. before things started to get out of control for her, she was scouted by lgc ent. outside of a shopping mall. it was her saving grace, kind of.

XO. nowadays, she’s still playing video games on the low, but all of her social media has been deactivated to please her company. she didn’t really take this “idol” thing seriously in the beginning, but a few months in, she sort of started to feel a love for music; singing. the workload was much easier than high school, and well, she didn’t plan on going to college, so she figured that if she was given this opportunity, she should at least give her best shot. that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have her distractions, though.

XO. personality-wise, nara’s a bit chaotic. she’s young and she’s still figuring herself out, but she’s still not out of the “i need to be the center of attention 24/7” phase. it’s gotten a lot less suffocating as she’s surrounded by a bunch of people all of the time, but she still plays with feelings a lot of the time. it’s not like she even means to ( sometimes, lol ) but she’s one of those people that always come across VERY interested in you and what you have to say, and like, VERY flirty and touchy-feely. it is COMPLETELY understandable why people would mistake her attention with her being interested in them, and what’s sad is, she probably is to some degree, but often plays hard to get. she just wants to have a good time, yk?

XO. she’s insanely talkative, intelligent, and witty. i wouldn’t go so far as to say she’s at an expert level like marilyn monroe was when she was alive, but she tries to emulate that sort of smart “dumb blonde” trope a lot. also, she’s really competitive. maybe it’s the gamer in her, but she just wants to WIN and finds other people that are as good as she as at things a threat. nara might not be the best person to be around in the dorms, but if you’ve made a friend in her, she’ll calm down a lot. there’s just a hidden insecurity within her that gets easier to deal with when she excels or when she wins people over.

Ranting about how Gaz, taster of pork is my fave iz ep bc >:(((

iI wanted to make this rant for a while now so why the hell not, I’ve also been wanting to rant about this ep and why its my all time favorite...because why the hell not... __________ This episode is way above the others for me, nothing can beat this. Ever sense I started watching Invader Zim I wanted an ep like this, and when I first watched it I knew it was going to be my fave and god I was so so exited, where do I start? I hear some people don’t like this episode because how much Dib abuse is in it, for someone who kins Dib and whenever I see Dib get hurt in the show (which is like every single fucking ep) I feel horrible for him, but in this ep I did not, and I actually found it pretty funny, I laughed. From the start I knew Gaz and Dib where going to be my favorites and the more the show went on the more and more I loved these two and wanted to just see these two on screen, honestly I was starting to get tired of a lot of ep’s just being Dib vs Zim, I really wanted something else, not ONLY in this ep just about Dib and Gaz, how its done is done so so PERFECTLY. _____________ I don’t want to point out every single part why I like it so much (probably will, anyways) starting off, Dib is fucking adorable in the start, thats perfect for me, LOVE THAT SHIT. That fucking....squeal he did?? yes. Ill take that shit. thank u..... And Gaz just walking in bitching about how Dib ate her food and hes just fucking too focused on his hard drives or whatever, its fucking perfect. Dib just being a fanboy in the start and Gaz bitching about whatever to him is perfect for me, I think this was the first time we saw Gaz’s room and I love how it’s filled with stuffed animals, that is so perfect for her character you have NO IDEA. And I love what I’m assuming is dragon pajamas, what I love most of all is Gaz calling in her stuff animals to throw Dib out her room, the idea of Gaz having these creepy dolls that come to life is one of the best concepts for her character and I wish people would do more with that. I like how Dib just isn’t down right scared of Gaz all the time, like he is still willing to be selfish about himself, giving her the shadow hog curse and lying ABOUT IT LMAO WHAT AN ASSHOLE. Dib then starts to act fucking dumb af, like “OH NO I DIDNT DO CRAP GAZ 0W0W0W0W0W0W0W0W0W0W00″ But Gaz b like: nah hoe Dib’s still being an ass, then the ep JUST GETS FUCKING BETTER. One of my alltime favorite things about this ep is that you can slowly see Dib get more and more scared, and Gaz more and more upset, you can tell something really bad is going to happen to Dib at the end, but you don’t know what, and it’s even more scary because its Gaz...THAT IS JUST, SUCH ASMAZING WRITING, I REALLY ADORE SHIT LIKE THAT, GOD. I love how Gaz dosen’t start getting angry too early, I like how you see her eat every single food and creepy music is just being played, she’s also not eating all the food too fast, you can just FELL SHIT BOUTTA HAPPEN SOON 4 REAL one of my favorite fucking animation clips from this ep is just when Gaz is eating and just spitting it all in Dib’s face while he’s reading his book trying to fix this curse, you can start to feel Dib, and how much he is starting to panic, its amazing,. _______ AND THEN THE FUCKING, MASHED PATATO PART HHABSJDGEK THAT PART HAD ME DYING, AND WHEN GAZ OPENED HER EYES WHILE DOING IT IT WAS SO FUCKING CURSED, AND THEN GAZ JUST GIVES UP AND THROWS THE FOOD AT SOME RANDOM ASS AND DIB IS LIKE “NOOO NOT ZITA” ITS SO FUCKING DUMB AND PERFECT I LOVE IT. I forgot to add this but I love Gaz’s voice through out this and how she is acting, she’s not too too scary (at the start at least) like how shes acting and her voice tone and everything, which makes it even more scary for some reason, like its not overdone, u fucking SCARED LIKE U CAN TELL SOME SHIT BOUTTA GO DOWN. side note I love how Gaz’s teacher is nothing like mrs. Bitters, its so funny. ALSO??? ALSO???? I LOVE THE LITTLE MOMENT WHERE GAZ AND DIB IS HOLDING HANDS WHILE WALKING HOME, LOVE THAT, LOVE THAT SOOO MUCH, SO CUTE WTF. also I LOVE THE PIG GIRL THING. Just seeing art for that in that ep is so cool, AND WHEN GAZ IS IN THAT LITTLE PIGGY OUTFIT SO SO CUTE, I’m telling you, Gaz’s animal is Pigs, like Dib’s animal is moths. It fits too well. It’s so so cool to see something crazy and insane happening to Gaz for a change and not Dib and Zim. And its still just as funny, if not, even MORE FUNNY. and i adore the PART WHERE DIB IS JUST TALKING TO A RANDOM HOBO LIKE ITS SO FUCKING RANDOM AND POINTLESS IM WATCHING THE EP RN AND I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT IT JUST EXISTS LMAOO aND it is super super cute when Dib was talking to Zim, just, that part was so perfect, you can tell that Dib really does care. AND HERE COMES THE BEST PART AND THE IDEA FOR MY DEMON GAZ AU WHERE LIKE, GAZ SEEMS LIKE SHE HAS THESE EVIL POWERS, JHONEN CAN SAY “NO SHE DONT HOE” BUT IM LIKE “YEET TEET S I R” THAT, YES YES HELL YES THAT WAS SO SO PERFECT WHAT THE FUCK?? and___ _______ oh my god. oh. my. fucking. god. Like the most funny part of tHE EP IS THE PART WE WHERE WAITING FOR, DO YALL KNOW HOW FUCKING FUNNY IT WAS??? OK, OK. A LISTEN. WHEN GAZ FINALLY COMES OUT HER CAGE THINNG, U KNOW DIB BOUTTA GET BLASTED, AND GAZ JUST BEATS THE EVER LOVING SHIT OUT HIM, but get this, HE SOUNDS LIKE A SQUEAKY TOY. YES, YES, YES, ALL MY YES, 100/10, 100/10. 100/10. thtt SHITR....HAD ME DEAD, FUCKING DEAD. AND THE PART WHERE THEY WHERE IN BEAVER COSTUMES WHERE SO SO ADORBALE, THEY ARE SO CUTE, I LOVE THEM, Dib and Gaz where so so on point in this ep. ________ the shadow hog place,,,,,OH MY FUCKING GOD, HOW, HOW CAN YOU GET MORE PERFECT??? THE PIGS AND EVERYTHING JUST, EVERYTHING LOOKS AND FEELS SO SPOTLESS, WHOEVER DESIGNED THAT MMMEFNJEFHIE This is when Dib starts to get very protective and this is JUST. WHAT. I WANT. from Dib and Gaz. PLUS i love the shadow Hog, hes nice. ONE ONE OF MY FAVORITE PARTS EVER, LIKE, MAYBE IN THE ENTIRE GOD DAMN SHOW, IS JUST DIB FIGHTING THEM SHADOW HOG GUARDS, JUST, ITS NOT normal Dib abuse like in every ep, THEM HOGS ARE LEGIT BEATING THE EVER LOVING SHIT OUT HIM, LIKE DAMN BRUH THEY FUCKING, DAMN, BUT THATS NOT GOING TO STOP DIB, EVERYTIME HE GETS HURT HE JUST GETS RIGHT BACK UP, HE DOSENT WANT GAZ TO GET HURT OR DIE, HE CARES THAT MUCH, HE JUST KEEPS FUCKING, GOING AND GOING AND GOING AND DAMN WTJHWVWUTD, BRUUUHHH DID YALL SEE THE PART WHEN DIB GOT THROWN BACK AND THE BACKGROUND WAS RED?? Keep in mind this is both going on at the same time which makes it 100 times better, this is what makes a cartoon so GOD DAMN PERFECT. pOOR Dib when he comes in he just feels so so horrible, so sorry for Gaz, and the pig lord actua,lly dosent know what to do and gaz is like “yeah punish him lmfao” AND THEN THE TOILET PART OH MY FUCKING GOD THAT WAS JUST ALMOST AS FUNNY AS WHEN GAZ BEATS DIB AAND HES JUST A SQUEAKY TOY LMAO, it makes it 10000000000 times better because you dont see whats in the toilet and Dibs just freaking out, that is so perfect, that what makes good writing and a joke work, that was perfect. AND THE ENDING, OH MY FUCKING GOD JUST dIB YELLING IN PAIN, perfect. Theres jsut so much good shit in this ep that just makes it better than the others. I wanted more of shit like this from the show and etc, I also want more fanart of pig Gaz. Good shit man

1. spongebob squarepants: i dont think im allowed put anything else in the #1 spot while spongebob exists. its just insane to me how i grew up with it, have it basically ingrained in my brain, and yet it still doesnt get old (ofc im talking about the first three seasons but, the middle seasons still have their gems that stuck with me too). excellent humor characters style etc etc etc its spongebob

2. ok k.o.: let’s be heroes!: i admit this show isnt perfect, and they definitely wouldve benefitted from having more time to flesh out their story :(, but ok ko is like my favorite cartoon bc its so inspiring to me. it is so perfectly funny and engaging, and its the first show ive seen that feels like it was made by people like me...? like. it feels like it was made by young adults who grew up on tumblr like me and my friends and i mean that in the best way possible. the humor and the references/tropes just hit so well, and it reminds me of why ive always wanted to be a storyboard artist!

3. wordgirl: ppl who dont know me as well may be like “wtf why are you putting a pbs show on here” but yall gotta trust me wordgirl is SO good. i watched it about four years ago now and i still actively love it, it is SOOO funny and their cast is AMAZING. the characters are shockingly good. give it a shot

4. big city greens: this is the only show that im really keeping up with right now and i LOVE it!!! like i said about ok ko, the humor works really well with me, better than other shows ive seen that are on rn. super funny, love the characters, its really a comfort to me!

5. phineas and ferb/milo murphy’s law: lol im counting them as one. i have some complaints for both of these shows bc i think they made some weird choices at times or ignored character development or blah blah blah, but overall its BONKERS how much space they take up in my mind. i think sometimes their attempts at bigger stories kinda fall flat, but man when they hit they HIT. the characters all have so much heart. and of course the music is fantastic
